"They you know, were empty shelves. They know things and I don't have to go in with a cannon. I mean, you know, covering Biden. I'm kind of restrained, uncovering him. I think he's a disaster. So far. I think that's a fair assessment of him. But you know, I'm not Trying to hurt him. I'm just trying to get people to know what's happening. And you know Lee Joe Biden is the most favorite president of all time for the mom. You know why Well, I imagine they got him elected through the FL CEO etcetera. No, no, it's not. There may be in some of those shenanigans, but not to the level of JFK and Sam Giancana. I understand you and kind of the Godfather Chicago. He actually tilted Illinois to JFK in a fraudulent way, and we go through that and killing the mob. But now 500,000 foreign nationals have entered the U. S s inspired has been inaugurated. Well, 500,000 is a tremendous amount of people have to be processed, fed sheltered, put on Busses, whatever all the border patrol and ice Have to deal with them. So what suffers drug interdiction? It's wide open. The quite tells of funneling more narcotics, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine into American now. Than ever before in our history. And that's where the mob makes its money. Today. 80% of it comes from narcotics. They love Biden. Maura, this open border stuff, please. And that's why I say he's the favorite of the mob. Bill O'Reilly killing the mob. You mentioned movies earlier today earlier in this interview, and one of the things movies seem to do is is to almost make every mobster Italian, and that's not the case. No. Um, but Italians, Sicilians, in particular dominated organized crime after World War two because the U. S government made a deal with them. If they were to help General Patton invade Sicily than some of them would be admitted to the United States is exactly what happened. But the Jewish Gangsters Meyer Lansky, Bugsy Siegel, that an alliance with um the Italians In Boston, the Irish mob. That's what he bowled here. The Winter Hill gang they had alliance s Oh, there. It wasn't exclusively Italian. But to this day The Italians are the most powerful mobsters in America. Bill O'Reilly killing the mob. Oh, by the way, Quick story. My grandpa was working in the oil patch back on the pretty boy Floyd Days and one day he was walking along an old gravel road. And here came a car just hitting the ground every once in a while, he said, followed by a model T full of cops. The pretty boy Floyd escaped across the bridge. The cops hit the bridge flipped and guns and ammunition. Where everywhere all over the place. He described what he later found out. It was pretty boy. Lloyd they were chasing who had robbed one of the banks and one of the oil towns. That's amazing. That's an amazing story on these bank robbers. They were prolific. I mean they would hit 45 banks a week from Minnesota to Texas. And they were everywhere. And that's why the federal government had to organize the FBI to stop them. And they knew when payday Woz for the oil man usually was on a Thursday and it was it was cash, then it would be plenty of cash. And they stole literal millions of dollars. But as they said, once the FBI got on it, these guys were marked for death. The overt in one arm. And pretty boy. Floyd got it right between the eyes. We tell that story. On how they got him. And it is gruesome. Um, you know, it's interesting difference in philosophy from then to now, in law enforcement. His grave was over in Cherokee County. And I think people picked apart his tombstone because everybody wanted a memento of pretty boy Floyds tomb, stunning thing to replace it twice or three times something along those lines. These guys were heroes because everybody hated the banks back in the Depression days. They hated the banks. And these guys were, you know, flaunting that they were and then they would throw wads of cash at people and stuff like that. So they became folk heroes. But again, they were evil. Bill O'Reilly. The name of the book is killing the mob. I haven't begun it yet, but it is number one on my list of summer reads and I have a special request for you Bill, the next killing Syria's killing Hoover. Herbert? No, I'm sorry, J. Edgar. Yeah, we deal with them and killing them on. Yeah, we deal with that on How he died. Okay. Okay. Yeah. When you get finished book, Lee, I hope we can talk again. Absolutely some questions. Well,.

"Christmas holiday, we couldn't resist. But go out to the Washington National Reserve and see where the big battle had taken place between black kettle and, um, uh, Custer and it was, It was great fun. To stand on that ground and look and see. OK. Kuster came from over that hill where the tank farm is and his lieutenants came from over that hill where the dairy farm is Yep. Well, Oklahoma right in the middle of killing crazy horse, you know, with the Sooners and all of that, Um, and you know, that was the nexus point. For many of the tribes and the U. S Army, um, back in the 19th century, as you know, So is it really? You know, I've been Oklahoma many times, and I always try to wander around a little bit and see the history of the place And we're glad we could. Chronicle critic killing crazy horse. Mom says you have bedroom eyes by the way. I'm a what? You have bedroom eyes. That's very nice of your mother. And she has good taste killing the mob. I know you've been working on this because all of your projects start with with a central focal point. And then they just kind of go down rabbit holes. And you you have to. Okay, I'm going to pursue that in another book. I have to pursue this and another book, and this is one of those results. Is it not? Yeah. Killing Kennedy had a lot of, um, mob connections that we didn't. I didn't want to divert away from the actual assassination and who did it and why. Um, but organized crime always came up popped up in Kennedy's life. So we put a lot of the research on the health as you astutely pointed out, and, ah, you we use it in killing the mob. But basically what the mob? The reason I wrote, this book is because we have pretty much chronicled. Ah, and the other nine killing books. What happened in America from 17 75. Um, up to modern times, killing Reagan. But there was a gap. And that gap was after World War two to the assassination of JFK. What happened in there match? Leave it to Beaver time. That's you know. We're all grown up in the fifties and sixties or emerging Elvis rock that what happened and the mob dominated that period of time in America. They ran everything. And that's why, um, I had a blast writing this book. It's kind of ironic that one of them or storybook times in our American history. There was this underlying, um, umbrage, I guess is the best way to put it. Well was an intrusion on America that no one knew about. So J. Edgar Hoover, who we introduced in the book When we start with Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde. Pretty Boy, Floyd, Baby Face Nelson and again is in Oklahoma component to that. Is he bank robbers Were these bank robberies where, um, basically crisscrossing the Midwest. Start that. All right, So we pick up the mob story. It begins with John Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde. Pretty boy Floyd, Baby Face Nelson. The bank robbers crisscrossing the Midwest and Oklahoma is a component to that, and they were just driving all over the place and stealing millions of dollars in today's currency and shooting people down cops and kids and you name it. These were evil people. And so the rise of the FBI Ah is concurrent with that, because FDR the president knew you needed federal agency to get this under control. So a young lawyer named J. Edgar Hoover took over the new FBI and they assassinated these bank robbers. They didn't say come out with your hands up, you know that they caught him did yet And Then. World War two broke out and all the FBI's resources we used in, uh, preventing German and Japanese sabotage on the Yusa after World War two Hoover shockingly Says. Well, we don't believe in over this crime we mafia doesn't exist. We're not investigating is phantom. And then we learn from Lucky Luciano The first godfather. We gotta hold his private papers. Martin to Gordon. I, uh, that the mob had something on Jake over and that's why organized crime took on so much power between 1946 and 61. Because they had compromised over. We couldn't find out what they had. But we know that homer who would like the ponies who was a gambler, we know he's gay and so There was really no buddy. Look any ad. The mob From 46 or 61. They ran everything they built Las Vegas. I? I've just my casual reading of history of come across a number of incrimination against J. Edgar Hoover was, Was he just a stinker? He's a bad guy. Yeah, it is not. I mean, I researched this guy up and down in and out. Um there's a bad guy. I can't really say he didn't treat his agents. Well, um, you know, he's a grandstander is a political players, a blackmailer. I Ah, you know, he's a villain. I mean, one of the books I was reading about was about a British double agent by the name of Tricycle who found a dress rehearsal for the bombing of Pearl Harbor immediately got it into the hands of J. Edgar Hoover because there's nobody else at that time to get it into the hands of a Hoover sat on it because he didn't trust tricycle. Yeah. I can't blame him for that. But I can't blame him for trying to blackmail people. Ah, politicians in particular. Um And you know if you read killing the mob We didn't hammer Hoover in the book. We didn't spend a lot of time on that. But we have plenty of testimony from his field agents and how badly he treated the FBI agents in the field. And so you'll get. You'll get the picture on Hoover. You always read about And this is a Bill O'Reilly killing them obvious his new best seller. You always read about these mobsters or in person. Really nice guys. Yeah, sure. Um, movies that do that. I mean, you know Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, Bonnie and Clyde. Come on. Bonnie and Clyde was slugs. They were the lowest. They put a bullet between your eyes and then they'd have breakfast. All right. I couldn't care less. And all more like that. Maybe they had some charming personality traits, but these air, evil people. In fact, the theme of killing the mob is evil. These are human beings that hurt other human beings for money. That's the common denominator of them all. Now there is bad as they've always been, because they run the narcotics traffic in America. Um, And so I wanted to tell the truth, and I always do that. That's why this is the 10th killing book the bestselling nonfiction book series of all time. I'm just stunned. But it's because these books are honest and they give you a real look at America. A true look, None of this progressive woke stuff. This is what really happened. Well, you apply the principles Bill O'Reilly that you applied in your lighter book, old school, which I just finished earlier this spring with Bill Fairstein and I enjoyed that Rita's well, Thank you. Thank you. Yellow school is basically a comparison. The how Traditional Americans grew up to now It is pretty frightening is like two different countries, that's for sure. But I'm I'm very happy. Rid that Lee thank you. Well, you didn't. You didn't do it with a get off my lawn kind of attitude. No, I mean again. Life is entertaining enough. If you really understand the dynamic of what's happening. You know what the belabor it? Um I think my readers and listeners on billoreilly dot com and on our radio affiliates all across the country. They're not dumb people. They wouldn't be listening or reading me. If they you know, were empty shelves. And you know Lee, Uh, Joe Biden is the most favorite president of all time for the mom. You know why Well, I imagine they cut him elected through the FL CEO etcetera. No, no, it's not. There may be in some of those shenanigans, but not to the level of JFK and Sam Giancana. The big guy that drank all the time. I'll think of it anyway. He's not Shaquille O'Neal. Okay? And it just looks from this picture that I never knew. I never knew the Carter family. We're hobbits. Andre the giant. That's what I was thinking of Andre the giant and so This has been going all over the Internet, and it's just kind of fun, and it just it just kind of demands more questions. I think it's very interesting because we are being lectured by people that don't actually follow the rules themselves and people are starting to recognize and realize this, Gavin Newsom going to French laundry while he tried to shut down the entire California economy. Governor Wittmer Zaid. I think she, too, also went to Florida. Is that right? Yeah. Governor Whitman went to Florida. How How does anyone allow this to actually continue? Governor Wittmer comes to the open state of Florida to go enjoy and open state while she keeps sorrow, Citizens lockdown. I do not remotely comprehend how people are tolerating this in certain states. If anyone could explain to me at least the optics of the framing of that picture. Well, Joe Biden. Why? Joe Biden looks like D A came a combo. And Jimmy Carter looks like Bilbo Baggins. I'm just it's been bothering me. Seriously. So anyone can email us freedom and charlie cook dot com. "I mean, he's seen the same people who were saying, Oh, we need to be united. We're the same people who were challenging the election. Just days earlier, the same people who were pushing out the big lie about massive fraud s. Oh yeah. They're very late to come to the party in terms of talking about unity. Let's be united. In speaking the truth. Let's be united in holding the president accountable for impeachable conduct, and you're absolutely right. Very few of them tried to defend the president's conduct and very few of them. Trying to suggest That what he did was not impeachable. Um, you know if the reports are correct about what Mitch McConnell is telling his own conference, he's not even claiming that this was not impeachable conduct. Now they may find excuses in the Senate. I hope not, Um, two failed to do their constitutional duty. But there's no question that what the president did was impeachable, reprehensible, repugnant, dangerous and that if he's left in office or left to run for office again, We can expect more of the same Indeed, this is the point we made in the last impeachment trial, which came all together to be too true. You had one member Republican member who went forward to speak and head on a face mask that said, Censored, which is really weird since she was addressing The, uh you know, uh, the House of representatives and she was broadcast on every television station in the country on yet, she said she was censored. There are people within the Republican party who are out of touch with reality Congressman Well, so you won't get in the argument on that score from May. Uh it is. It's extraordinary, um, where we find ourselves and Uh, I, uh, you know, I think that when they write this chapter of history, some of the most damning language is going to be reserved for these Republicans who did not do their duty who shirked their responsibility were complicit in all this who perpetrated Ah, big lie on the country. And, um, you know, I watch those people in the airports as they were. Harassing my colleagues and some of those people made. Those people really believe what they're saying. Yes, but this is not the case with those members of Congress. They know they're spouting a big lie, and they're willing to do it. And that's just reprehensible that it's so true. I absolutely believe that the you know members of Congress tend to be smart. Although there are a couple who I'm not so certain of So so two things here because we're just about out of time, But I'm going to give you some advice. I know it's kind of bold of me, but I'm going to I would. I would encourage you to follow the admonition of my absolute, she once said, when someone tells you who they are The first time believed them. Congressman do not trust the words of your GOP colleagues in the House, nor in the Senate only trust what they do. We've seen that over and over and over again, not just these four years, but throughout the Obama administration as well and finally tell us What we're going to do going forward. How are we gonna fix this thing? I have, you know, I believe in Joe Biden and Kamila Harris. But Donald Trump is trying to leave a broken country in his wake. How are we going to pick up the pieces? How are we going to make this right again? Official. I think your advice is excellent. And my Angelou's device is excellent. I will be sure to take that advice in terms of the way forward. I would like to believe that what we did yesterday, and it seems like a week already what we did in impeaching the president again. Um Is the beginning of putting our country back on the path. It was intended, Um, taking us off the path towards dictatorship and putting us back on the past towards a Democratic republic, the one that our founders envisioned. So I'd like to say that That we began the process. Of correction and restoration of our democracy. Yesterday on did I do think that this moment was meant for Joe Biden? Maura Maura Ziva seen the postelection period I've realized this is he is exactly the right person we need right now who has experienced loss and tragedy and knows a lot about healing. Who's fundamentally decent to represent a continuity with the past and a bridge to the future. So I have a lot of optimism about the incoming president and vice president. Andre and I also have a long enough you of things to realize that we've been through terrible traumas is a nation before we will get through this, but But one thing and particular the big, long term task ahead of us is I've been struck over the last several years about how Something, Robert Caro once wrote. It is so true that power doesn't corrupt as much as it reveals reveals who people are, and it's revealed all too many of my GOP colleagues to stand for nothing except their own ambition. None of the other conservative principles. They came to clear two they claim to care about. But it's revealed, you know, it's revealed a lot about our country to giving Donald Trump power has revealed a lot about our country about that deep underbelly of bigotry and racism. This was not just a trumpets, insurrection. It was a white Nationalists. Insurrection? Yes, and that broader problem. So graphically, you know, brought to the fore by the murder of George Floyd and so many others. That will take even longer for us to confront, But it's integral that we do to making us a more perfect union but also preserving our democracy. We have to keep speaking truth. Our news anchor Kim McAllister has a final question for you, Kim. Congressman. I think a lot of people were just shocked that this could even happen. And I we had a former CIA director Leon Panetta on our station earlier this morning, and he called this The worst security breach he's ever seen, which I think is a big deal coming from him. I'm wondering how we ensure that Congress the Supreme Court, all of our institutions that are so revered and respected, are properly protected. After this, and this Congress have any say and moving forward how we do that. We will have a big say in that. And and I think that we are going to be doing any number of investigations about what went wrong. How this happened in my committee, the intelligence committee We're gonna be looking at the intelligence. What was the intelligence? What did we know? Was that intelligence shared with law enforcement? Why were they so ill prepared? Why? Why were there not guard troops protecting the capital? Why such a graphic disparity between the law enforcement response to a peaceful black lives matter. Protests On this violent insurrection. Um, so we're going to be looking at all those questions on determining what do we need to do to protect our government going forward? Um, you know, I have a lot of confidence. The inauguration will go forward as planned. It will be safe. I will be there and looking forward to it. But I am concerned that there could be violence elsewhere on the mall or in state capitals around the country. Have toe hope and pray that that he's you know, predictions of mayhem around the country will not come to pass. Where certainly you know for warrant. We should be prepared, but we will have a very significant say. And what's necessary to protect our government. I just wish it wasn't so necessary. Congressman Schiff. I have one other statement. You don't have to comment on it. But you know when I was realizing the horrific breach I thought about security at the lube and I thought about get smart. You're probably not old enough to remember gets more remember, get smart, Absolutely remember as he walked through the doors and how the big steel panels would come in, You know, they'd slide they drop or they, you know, open in front of him..
