"It would do would underscore one of the main messages we are sending on this trip, which is that the United States is here for our allies and partners. We are here to help provide deterrence and defense for the ROK in Japan. A test would obviously keep up North Korea's defiant attitude towards the U.S., the country has not engaged with multiple attempts by the Biden administration to restart talks, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, you'll remember, met with president Trump three times, including on the North Korean side of the DMZ. Obviously, the biggest player in the region, China is not on President Biden's itinerary for this trip, but it is inevitably intertwined in all of these economic and security issues. A key goal for President Biden reducing American dependence on China and alleviating some of the pandemics supply chain issues. I didn't chose not to call out the country directly during his speech at Samsung, but he did tie in the economic headaches that come with doing business with autocratic regimes. As further spotlights that need to secure our critical supply chains so there are economy. Our economic and our national security are not dependent on countries that don't share our values. Michele Bachmann Discusses the Plot to Undermine American Sovereignty

"The person that has really pulled the fire alarm, the person that has been able to warn us about what's happening at the World Health Organization. Is Michelle bachmann. There's a clip with Michelle bachmann, and the great Steve Bannon, going back and forth about this that has been sent to me probably by 30 people in the last 24 hours. And one of the most effective interviews that I've seen in quite some time warning, the American population of what's happening very soon in Geneva Switzerland. Is what Michelle bachmann said on that program with us right now is Michelle herself. To be able to walk us through what we're just getting into. And the World Health Organization meeting, Michelle, welcome to the program. First of all, thank you for really signaling the alarm here. How do you learn about it and get into the details? What are we about to do? We being America in Geneva, Switzerland, if we don't stop it. Hi, Charlie. I just want to bring greetings to you for regent university too. We adore you. We love everything you're doing and you may not know this, but I'm the adviser for turning point for turning point USA on the university campus. So I'm a big fan of YouTube. So thanks for having me on. But the issue that we're talking about one is one that just came up recently. No one should feel bad if they don't know about it. This issue was meant by design to run under the radar. The Biden administration has amendments that they took to the United Nations to the world health assembly. The healthcare arm of the United Nations is the World Health Organization. But the World Health Organization's governing body is the world health assembly. They meet once a year in Geneva Switzerland. They're going to meet beginning starting this Sunday, May 22nd to the 28th, and they take up their business. Agenda item 16.2 this year are the proposed Biden amendments to the 2005 international health rules. Those are the rules that we in the United States agreed to beginning for international health beginning back in 2005. This is not a treaty. There is a proposed global pandemic treaty that's being worked on right now that will be voted on in 2024. That's not what this

With the World Health Organization and I see these emails, I talk to my team and I say, we got to be on this. Because my listeners demand it. You know, one of the first things Biden did was. Reinstate our membership in the world health organization, which of course has been dreadfully corrupt, has been pitifully wrong, everything about their guidance during the COVID pandemic has been a disaster and Biden.

AG Merrick Garland Is Spineless

"Now, you could disagree with the federal statute, but there is a federal statute that prohibits the protests that we're seeing outside the house of the Supreme Court Justices. And you know something? Merrick Garland is spineless. Merrick Garland, I have to say, must want to encourage this unlawful behavior. How many people did you hear on the left, condemning buildings being burned to the ground? Because George Floyd died. How many people on MSNBC or CNN are from the Biden administration? Did you hear routinely condemn acts of violence? The police who were assaulted, people who were killed, remember the retired cop in St. Louis, shot dead trying to protect his buddy's business from being burned to the ground. This shot dead right in the street. Who got who's held accountable for that? They ever catch that person? That person ever been prosecuted? Now, I guarantee every last one of them of January 6th to be in prosecuted. How about the person who murdered Dorne in St. Louis? This is we are in a dangerous time. The Democrats are dangerous. And when they're trying to blame us for the buffalo supermarket, all they're trying to do is project what they themselves are guilty of. They're just deflecting their own guilt. They are openly at tell me where I'm wrong.

Fresh update on "biden administration" discussed on Balance of Power

"First Asia trip in South Korea beginning with a visit to Samsung plant and praising investment in the United States in semiconductor manufacturing To take us through what the president hopes to accomplish overall in his Asia trip Welcome now each for Prasad He is Professor of trade policy at Cornell senior fellow at the brookings institution and author of the future of money how the digital revolution is transforming currencies and finance So professor thank you so much for being with us There is the semiconductor issue but more broadly we hear that President Biden really wants to pursue something called the indo Pacific economic framework What is that And what are his prospects So as one thinks about this trip to Asia I think the broad theme here is really it has the right objectives but beset by policy quandary and the indo Pacific economic framework Perfectly epitomizes that difficult balance What the indo Pacific economic framework is trying to do is to get around the fact that there are domestic limitations that might prevent the Biden administration from signing on to a trade treaty with any of the Asian trading partners of the U.S. has but at the same time try to re-engage with the region So what the framework is supposed to set out is a set of labor environmental and other trading standards but without the price of market access or any other incentives for the countries that might become part of this framework So it's a tough sell really to get people in the region re-engaged in terms of U.S. involvement while at the same time not promising them anything concrete Now of course China has been a lot more active in the region in terms of setting up its own trade deals The U.S. backed away from the trans Pacific partnership that the other countries originally signed up to it went ahead with it And so what the Biden administration is basically trying to do is to salvage some engagement from the ashes of the TPP which the previous administration basically scorned Well I guess my question in part is to that point are we too late Because as you say we had the TPP we walked away from it after we had a deal China has stepped in Are we too late Or is China perhaps in some places overplaying its hand if I can put it that way and made some countries over there a little bit nervous For most of the countries in the Asian region it's a tricky issue because on the one hand they would prefer not to go too deeply into the economic or geopolitical embrace of China And the fact that U.S. seem to be stepping back from the region was forcing them to do that I think they would like to have a closer relationship with the U.S. but given what has happened over the last four or 5 years there is certainly concern among the leaders in the region whether they can trust the U.S. to really look after their bank and whether they can shy away from the economic might of China Many of the countries in the region I think would like to maintain a strong relationship with the U.S. but I think the U.S. is not proven to be very reliable in terms of meeting the deals of treaties that it pulls other countries into So I think that is going to be a major barrier but certainly it's a positive sign that Biden isn't the region and is meeting with many of the key leaders in trying to re-engage But it's still going to be a tough sell If you just I think a very important point which is part of what goes on as we try to whoo countries China does is a reflection of the relative economic might of the two China has really been in the ascendancy But now we're seeing that in fact it may well be that for the next year or so the United States actually might grow faster than China Does China still have the economic might that it did a year or two ago Certainly there are some elements that have changed The U.S. economy despite time rising inflation and flailing financial markets as you pointed out is economic powerhouse and the notion of the Chinese economy catching up either in terms of economic size or in terms of financial might does seem to be further off into the future that it seemed a couple of months ago but the reality for the countries in the region is that China is still by far the dominant economy in the region is still growing at a pretty decent clip does still have a rising middle class that is going to be very important for the supply chains that are traded towards the region as a consumer market and so on so they can not quite afford to ignore China and China is becoming quite a financially powerful as well Now certainly the events of the last few months have set it rest the notion that China is going to become a power that rivals the U.S. but still if you have such a large economy sitting right on your doorstep it's a little difficult to shy away from it And that's the quandary that most of the countries in the region face And finally for how does the quest for president Xi for a third term play into this On the one hand is he more vulnerable than he was not necessarily lose his job but to have more rivals around him or will he be more aggressive in his policies Now China seems to be looking more inward and what presidency seems to be keen to do is make sure that China becomes more self reliant and less vulnerable to external factors in particular and that might provide an opportunity for the Biden administration to increase its engagement in the Asian region because China is beginning to look a little more inward and that creates an opening Now whether the Biden administration can strategically exploit them in a way that increases U.S. influencer brings back U.S. influence I think it's really the question of the hour Professor thank you so very much It's always great to have you with us That's each far prasat He's senior Professor of trade policy at Cornell University Check out the balance of our newsletter on the terminal and.

Former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann: Pray for the Upcoming WHO Vote

"Is there anything we can do to avert this? I mean, it's effectively the end of America. It sounds like I'm making this up. But what you just said is it's unbelievable to cede sovereignty to some organization. I mean, it's fundamentally unconstitutional, but I guess my question is, what can we do? Well, what we can do, first of all, is pray. And remember that God does not abandon us. His banner over us is love. He hears us when we cry out to him. And so no one should despair. No one should cry, what we need to do is recognize that we have a holy God who loves us. This is not taking him by surprise, praise psalms too over this issue. Psalms too says that the nations are in rebellion against God, but God sits on his throne and laughs about things like this because he is sovereign. You can't give away ultimate sovereignty. God is sovereign. So what the Biden administration is doing is clearly lawless. It is clearly unconstitutional, but there's a difference between law and power and the Biden administration has the power to do whatever they want unless we check them. So what we need to do is contact our U.S. senators, our House members, our governor, our state attorney general, because all of them are impacted and tell them we want these Biden amendments withdrawn before they're voted on May 22nd through 28 in Geneva, Switzerland at the world health

Fresh update on "biden administration" discussed on The Charlie Kirk Show

"With us right now is an incredibly wise and great patriot, someone who has been speaking out against COVID tyranny, and has also been unafraid to go into the weeds and do research whether it's Ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and really waging a very effective war against Remdesivir, and he's been one of the most articulate and effective writers in the last couple of years, and he's been keeping keeping the bad guys on defense, which is just terrific. It's Daniel Horowitz, who has a new article out all about this topic we're talking about Daniel Horowitz says, quote, states must preemptively nullify any WHO international pandemic regulations. Daniel, welcome back to the program. Tell us what is the WHO poised to do, separate fact from fiction and how should we respond? Sure, you can't view this in a vacuum. Let's first of all, you have to look at the broader context that the Biden administration just conducted this global COVID summit where they essentially warned there's going to be an even bigger pandemic that is even more deadly and it's going to happen in the fall and the winter. It's kind of interesting. They seem to always know that. You know, when it's going to happen, so I would take them at face value, I ignored it last decade and never paid attention to this, but now I think we should take them seriously. So the broader point is that the impression that Republicans are trying to give you. And when I say Republicans, I mean the Mitch mcconnells, I mean, a lot of governors and state legislative leaders when I had friends of mine and state legislators, they're like, dude, we got to immunize ourselves against this to make sure it doesn't happen again. Let's utilize the time we live in when all these non pharmaceutical interventions so to speak have become so unpopular and let's make sure we currently ban it in law and state constitutions. And they're like, no, we're done with COVID. Let's move on. They don't want to talk about it. But we're not done with it. We're not done with the biomedical state because Charlie, this wasn't some once in a hundred year natural virus that happened to come and now it's over with. So maybe they responded inappropriately or even in an evil way, but it's over with. No, they induced it. They created it, and they're on to the next thing. And they've already groomed dare I say our generation to automatically acculturate themselves to this sort of reaction. So what they're trying to do now, and this is coming together is globalized and synergized this response, they like what happened, you know, the last two years, but they think they could do even better. They don't want any floridas. They don't want any Sweden's. They don't want any scientific control groups against their next human experimentation. So what this would do is now Biden knows he doesn't have 67 votes for a treaty. They've been talking about a pandemic treaty for a while at the WHO a lot of European countries, and they openly call for it. See in America it's a little bit different because the people still have a little bit more of an appreciation for liberty. So the Biden administration has been awfully quiet. Very.

Michele Bachmann Explains the Extreme Dangers to America's Sovereignty

"Now. The dean of the Robertson school of government for regent university and she is my guest. Michelle bachmann, welcome. Thank you so much and also a longtime friend to Eric my taxes. Honored to think so. I have to say, you have been in public life for a long time. You get in the weeds on this stuff. I just, I can't bear sometimes to look at it. What I have been hearing from you and others regarding this issue, it seems like a kind of madness. Somebody must be making it up. It can't be true. Tell us what is going on. Well, that is the biggest problem right now because people can't believe that this could be possible. But then just say to yourself, what have we lived through for the last two and a half years where Congress didn't vote on mask mandate. Congress did vote on lockdowns. Conference Congress didn't vote on suspending rent for rent control issues. They didn't vote mandate vaccines. None of those votes were taken. It was all under the auspices of emergency powers that the Biden administration, whether it was Rachel walensky at the Centers for Disease Control or Doctor Fauci or doctor burps. Pronouncements were made. It was just a press release or a press conference, and we were all told, oh, this is law. We were told that we had to comply as though it was law. When it wasn't long, it was emergency action. So what's happening? I set that up because what's happening is that level of rising authoritarianism and a denial of our civil liberties, the last two years in America by American health officials, that level of authoritarianism, decision making, under the Biden amendments, if they pass a Geneva Switzerland May 22nd to 28th, would transfer American sovereignty and the sovereignty all nations over the world over our healthcare decisions from our nation over to the director general of the World Health Organization. "81 at foggy bottom and Silver Spring At 1141 Monday is the day that the Biden administration had sent to lift the Trump era immigration policy known as title 42 It has blocked migrants from entering the U.S. due to the pandemic Meantime on the hill a growing number of Democrats say they're ready to take a vote in the Senate on a measure that would force the administration to keep that public health rule in place Joining us live now is bob Cusack editor in chief of the hill Bob Republicans are holding up a vote on new COVID relief money until they get a vote on possibly keeping title 42 explain why this title 42 vote is a tough one for some Democrats in the Senate Well it's tough because it's controversial Centrists in the Senate do not support it and have urged The White House to backtrack But many on the left progressives like what the Biden administration has done So we're obviously we're waiting for this big ruling from a Trump appointed judge But even if the Trump point of judge reverses the Biden stance I don't see Republicans backing off on this and probably making the case if that happens to actually well let's make sure this is permanent and still seek a vote So the COVID funding is very much up in the air and very much stuck Senate Democrats are concerned about alienating their base but do they have some cover here because the Biden administration has not yet clearly indicated how it would handle an expected crush of migrants at the southern border Yeah I think a lot of Gigi depends on what happens this summer and what happens with this ruling but this is another situation where the Biden administration is stuck They're stuck between not having the votes in Congress to get what they want And their stuff because this is an intra party fight among Democrats And there are a lot of inter party fights among Democrats now and that's why things are looking pretty good if the Republicans in the fall Bob on this new COVID funding infections are spreading fast again in many parts of the country hospitalizations are up as well Some lawmakers on the hill say if the U.S. is falling behind other countries in ordering the next generation of vaccines which are expected this fall so how long will a vote on this COVID funding be delayed Well they're going to have to get a deal first Mark And they're nowhere close to a deal Republicans want to offset the funding They complain less and we've already spent trillions of dollars and a lot of that money hasn't been spent So they're just so far apart And of course election year politics are not helping the cause to get a bipartisan deal All right that's bob Cusack editor in chief of the hill It's ten 40 make that 1143 Coming.

Nina Jankowicz Resigned and We Have Jack Posobiec to Thank

"The Washington Post writes quote just hours after jankowitz tweeted about her new job. The far right influencer Jack posobiec posted a tweet accusing the Biden administration of creating a ministry of truth. By the end of the day, there were 53,235 posts on Twitter mentioning the disinformation governance board. Many referencing jankowitz by name. According to a report by advanced democracy, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that conducts public interest research. In the days following that number skyrocketed, what I love about this is that there are think tanks that are funded on the left, where their full-time job is to say, hey, what went wrong with this thing? Find out who did. You know who it was Jack posobiec. That's who did it. Is they had to do a whole study and analysis. The advanced democracy a non partisan nonprofit organization who did a whole study of so where did we go wrong here? Of course, it wasn't the Mary Poppins singing. It wasn't the really bizarre like Harry Potter mentions. It wasn't her constantly sarcastic ironic. Tone towards everything wasn't a factor, she said she just wants to be able to censor political dissidents or the fact that you just kind of have a child running the disinformation board. No, no, no, according to The Washington Post and advanced democracy, it's those pesky far right influencers, Jack

"Blake I've got friends and family in Arizona I'm not suggesting that you know a sample size of 5 or 6 people who communicate with me is dispositive on any issue but they're talking to me and they have friends who are Hispanic and black obviously And they say you know Dan the illegal immigration problem in Arizona is so out of control that it's really hard to find at least in their case a Hispanic voter out there who supports this nonsense anymore So it's kind of funny that the Democrats keep playing this identity racial politics they're obsessed with and yet we're finding at the border of Texas and in your state of Arizona that Hispanic and black voters and mass are starting to move away from the lawless Democrat party over to our movement and the Republican side as a guy who's knocking on doors probably today You're probably out there campaigning today Are you getting the same vibe on the ground there that this isn't a black white or Hispanic thing This is a Democrats have failed thing and we're ready to find an alternative 100% though Latino voters I talked to whether they're registered Republicans or not they want the border wall They want it more than anybody They're fed up They came legally Whether you're a first generation second generation Latino immigrant you came to this country because you believe in the rule of law You probably fled somewhere horrible Like Venezuela or something And you basically have to be like a 5th generation white liberal who got over educated and has a master's degree in education to not want the border wall Like this is really popular illegal immigration should be zero and everybody knows that the Biden administration it's not like they're trying and failing right From their perspective things are working quite well They want open borders that's part of their plan and normal people especially Latino voters in Arizona are not here for it

"Talked a lot about the issues out there of economy and investments and where the inflation is going and how the Biden administration basically has zero clue to what they're doing. And it's become very obvious, but it also affects everyday life, whether it's your gas process, your food process. But how about your investments? How about the things in life that actually can make you money, you know, set you up in your retirement accounts, do the things that you want to do so that you have some independence and financial stability. Well, I'm going to tell you right now, if you're going out talking and looking out around the world for the get great schemes, the folks who are telling you how to do it and frankly, if you look into their background, they got no money either. Not the way to do it. And so today, I've come across a guy that I've got to know a like a lot. I love his attitude. You're going to just fall for his passion. Because just great to watch. Patrick Aslan is someone who's going to talk about teaching you and what his company does is teaching you about investments and how to trade. And he also has an interesting background as well. So this is going to be one of the fun episodes of the dot Collins podcast. Sit back strap in because you're going around. You're going to want to take notes on this one. Patrick for having me. Thanks for being a part of the college podcast. Patrick explained to people now and I'm going to let you do it because it's your baby, you do it better than anybody. Explain to me what where you're at right now in your life. What you're doing and how you training and I'll give you the clicking. Do do several things here. First and foremost, I have a trading education company target trading academy where we teach people how to trade in the futures market. Not the stock market, not options that stuff is way too rigged way too dangerous and absolutely not in the retail consumers favor. It's a rigged game. I can we can have a 5 hour show and I can go through a piece by piece on how it's written. The futures market on the other hand is a zero sum game and it runs roughly 24 hours a day. So for example, let's say when New York closes at four 15 5 o'clock in the afternoon, you're stuck in a position. You can't get out. Well, when you're in the futures market, you can protect yourself roughly 24 hours and I teach people how to do this, how not to be in the market, how not to have a position, how not to have exposure, how to manage your risk, where to get in and where to get out. It's a real simple prospect.

Bezos Calls Out Biden President Over Inflation and Corporate Taxes

"You think about Jeff Bezos being much more sort of in step with the liberal left given that he owns and runs up well he owns Washington Post. Anyway, he's out there. He's stepping up his criticism of the Biden administration on Twitter. This is pretty good. He's going to new one out. I'm going to share with you, but what I loved was what he put out on Friday as we went into the weekend. This thing was epic. Epic. On Friday. Jeff Bezos called President Biden over a tweet in which Biden said that taxing wealthy corporations could actually help lower inflation. Okay, that's just wrong, right? It's just wrong because think about it for two seconds. If you tax corporations more, they still need to deliver to their shareholders, therefore they're just going to raise prices even more. So that actually really doesn't make any sense. He said, and I quote, you want to bring down inflation, let's make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share. This was on May 13th. And Bezos then retweeted it with some info of his own urging, well, sort of urging the disinformation board to review that one, right? He said quote, raising corporate taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection. In other words, where's the government disinformation board that ministry of truth as we like to call it? Where are they when you need it? Oh, wait a second. They can't actually help in this case because you see the government itself. Is the source of the misinformation?

J.D. Vance Shares His Feelings Post-Ohio GOP Senate Primary Victory

"Is JD Vance, the U.S. Senate nominee candidate for the great state of Ohio running against Tim Ryan. JD, welcome back to the program. Thanks, Charlie. Thanks for having me. And congratulations, I actually have a chance to tell you that yet. So first just your reaction from your race, you won the shocking victory. I think almost two weeks ago, how are you processing things? How's your race standing now that you're in the general? That's good. I mean, look, the Biden administration has been a disaster in Tim Ryan, my democratic opponent has voted with the Biden administration a 100% of the time. So we feel good about the general. Still got to put in the work. I think the Republican primary the way that I think about it is that it was a referendum on what kind of party do we want to be? Do we want to be a nationalist America first policy? Or do we want a party? Or do we want to go back to the ways of starting stupid wards that we have no reason to be in and shipping our manufacturing base off to China and other countries in the world. So I'm glad that the voters of Ohio rejected the old establishment ways. And I'm excited to take the America first message into the general election. And like I said, I feel pretty good

Biden Admin: It's Moral to Prioritize Illegals' Needs Over Americans

"Do you think it's moral to put illegal immigrants needs ahead of American citizens? Is that morally correct? Apparently the Biden administration thinks so. But I would also note that we also think it's morally the right thing to do. This is a difference from the last administration. It is the law, but we believe that when children and babies are babies, I should say, are crossing the border with a family member that providing them formula is morally right. And so we certainly support the implementation of it. I dare you to tell me that doesn't just knock you over. Tell me that doesn't knock your socks off.

Biden Administration Foolishly Refuses to Allow More Drilling

"Let me turn to this insane drilling stuff because it's like you can't make it up. The Wall Street Journal did a great thing the other day. I actually said this. Months ago, it's like Joe Biden needs to channel George Costanza from Seinfeld, where you just do the opposite of what you think you should do. That might actually help. Wall Street Journal had a great op-ed. Saying the same exact thing, just the other day. And this is one where, yeah, we really need where's George. Where's George Costanza? So the Biden administration is canceling drilling leases despite the fact that we have record high oil prices. This is a decision that I think is going to have some pretty serious consequences. So they are halting this drilling in the cook inlet in Alaska. This is a pretty significant high profile oil and natural gas lease opportunity that was before the interior department. And it's a little strange because he's been saying, yeah, yeah, yeah, in recent months, we're going to boost our oil and that gas production here in the U.S., right? Has the situation overseas not taught us anything in terms of the importance of being energy independent. And yet now, now, with inflation at a 40 year high with energy coming off of the market, so therefore driving energy prices even higher, his idea is to not approve leases. I mean, it's sort of mind boggling. And yes, brings us right back to that Seinfeld, George Costanza example, please. Please start doing the opposite of what you think is

Tucker Carlson: Biden Gives Baby Formula to Illegals, Not Americans

"Let's listen again some more of Tucker Carlson cut number 9 talking a little bit about the baby food, the formula being sent to the border, but not to Americans. You're seeing footage from our Bill illusion right on the screen when the only reporters who've been covering the disaster or border, the pictures you're looking at show a group of more than a hundred illegal aliens crossing into this country, Eagle Pass Texas. Now there are only two border patrol agents on the scene, clearly they're outmatched. By the way, they're not coming from Mexico, they're coming from faraway places like Venezuela and Cuba, which by the way is an island where they come in because Joe Biden left our screen door open. Once they get here, the Biden administration will give them food supplies that you can't buy. And those would include baby formula. A Florida congresswoman called cat cam X is these illegal aliens are getting quote pallets of baby formula from the Biden administration. As kamek put it quote, they are sending pallets. Pallets of baby formula to the border. Meanwhile, in our own district here at home, we can not find baby formula. We reached out to customs and border protection to find out how much baby formula the agency has purchased they would not tell us. It's not their duty to respond to the public apparently, but they didn't deny that they had bought it. Spokesman told us that quote, ensuring migrants and formula is in line with this administration's commitments. So how much money does people gonna take, you wonder? It's two humiliating. How much more are people going to take? It's hard to believe anymore that this is all accidental. This is by design. This is absolutely deliberate. These catastrophes are intentionally self afflicted.

Listen to this. Thank you. A rise in opposition to the Ukrainian supplemental Bill, $40 billion, but there's no baby formula for American mothers and babies. An unknown amount of money to the CIA in the Ukraine supplemental Bill, but there's no formula for American babies and mothers. $54 million in COVID spending in Ukraine. But there's no formula for American babies and mothers. $900 million for nonprofits and organizations in Ukraine. "biden administration" Discussed on ToddCast Podcast with Todd Starnes

"Today. We are waiting for the Biden administration to announce the crackdown on lockdowns. It is going to happen and it will probably happen sometime during our show today and if it does, we will bring you the president's comments live and we will offer you analysis of that whenever it happens. But I'm telling you, it's gonna happen. And we're gonna be all over this story. Folks, whatever is happening in right now in Australia, is going to happen here in the United States, and we've got to be prepared for that. We're all going to have to make some very, very big decisions about our lives in the coming days and in the coming weeks. We also are going to need to address some issues that are happening within the Republican Party right now. Last night yesterday, 80 Republicans in the House of Representatives signed on with Democrats to create a national vaccine database. That is a very, very dangerous thing. One of those lawmakers, one of the Republicans who signed on to this, and by the way, we have the full list of all of the lawmakers on Todd's dot com and we have their email addresses. So we made it very simple for you all you have to do is click on the lawmaker's name and you'll be able to send them an email address, or you'll be able to send them a note, demanding to know why they are supporting the creation of a vaccine database. It is not a folks. I'm telling you, this is a bad move by these Republicans. And we're going to be talking to congressman David cossa a little bit later on. Happens to be my congressman and a good guy, good conservative guy, but I'd like to know why he signed off on the creation of this vaccine database. We're also getting word today that the CDC, the center for disease control, is announcing that they are going to begin spying on American citizens. They're working with the airline industry. This is from The Epoch Times. They're working with the airline industry to create some sort of a database where they will be able to go in and get all of your private information. Now let me say this. I don't care if you have an ingrown toenail, or if you've had open heart surgery, it's nobody's business. Not the Democrats, not the CDC, not Joe Biden and not the Republican Party. That's your personal business. And I'm curious and we're going to go through and we'll read through some of the names on air of these Republicans, but this is a very, very dangerous thing that the Republicans are doing. It's going to pass in the Senate and you know Joe Biden is going to sign this into law. But this is a big problem. And we need to talk about that today and I hope that you contact your Republican if you're if your congressman, your representative is on this list that we've compiled. I hope you reach out to him and you find out what the heck is going on here. So they're creating a database now. Do you understand what this is all about as much like the Democrats wanting to create this national database for all of you pro Second Amendment people? It is a troubling thing. I don't like it when the government creates a list of people. But that's exactly what's happening. 8 four four 747 88 68, do you think that's a problem? That the Republicans have decided to create a national vaccine database. So now, within the confines of the government, very soon, now this still has to be approved through the Senate and then the president's got to sign off on it. But the reality here is that it's going to happen. What do you think the government's going to do with that information? You think there's going to be the knock on the door? You think that they're going to take this list and they're going to they're just going to go and go door to door? And find out who's been vaccinated and who has not. I mean, I can see where this will be used for nefarious purposes. So we're going to get into that today and we'll ask congressman kostov his thinking about this and why he was one of the 80 Republican lawmakers. Who decided it was important to create a vaccine database. I'm curious to know from our listeners, Kwan, and Memphis, Tennessee, your congressman, once a database. I just like to know why the congressman wants a database. Why do we need to have access to that information? Why does the government need to have access to that information? Now again, sometime today, the president is expected to announce the big crackdowns, we're hearing they're going to be severe and we suspect that after the first of the year, it's going to get even worse. So you need to begin preparations now for what you and your family are going to do. I want to read something to you. I got an email or a message rather on our Facebook page. From a guy he is from Pennsylvania, not going to tell you any other information about this guy, because I don't want him to get in trouble. But he reached out to me. Mister starnes, you had a show the other day about ending mandates. My wife and I refused to get the jab. She was placed on unpaid leave as an employee of our county. I am a postal service employee and I'm concerned on whether they're going to be exempted from the mandate. Also, my wife was denied a religious exemption as others were denied. We contacted liberty council and they told her to file an EEOC complaint. And I hope she does, but here's what I here's what I told the guy. Whatever you do,.

"Ladies and gentlemen you undoubted saw the news. Recently it actually went viral and it was a headline. It came from one or two x reputable media organizations. That's one questioned. The headline was the biden administration had cut its h. b. c. You spending plan from forty five billion dollars down to two billion. I saw it on newsweek. Where i'm sure many of you saw and it was also seen on the associated press. It turns out that headline was wrong and here to explain. Why is one of the white house's directors of public engagement and age b. c. you grad. I believe himself to liu absolute to lookout do glue college and also the divide night. He's a capital trade baker. hey brother how are you. Today dole will do away. I mar. i'm good i'm good. I'm not a catholic. But i got i got rid on so i guess so man. This story came out and people reacted to and had a pretty visceral reaction turns out lurid that stories actually not true right right. Break that down for us what what is what is really well. It's one premature because right now. The the president's entire bill back better plan is is being negotiated in congress right but the president made a a ambitious proposal to change as we see us a historic way with his his funding proposal. And he wants to do as much as possible to engage with and find as we see us at a level for them to thrive in for them to grow and so we don't know a final number on as we see you finding right now and so it was. It was just wrong in and of itself to say that it was cut because nothing has been cut by the biden administration. Nothing has come to the president's desk. The president has come out with a bold proposal phrase. We see us that follows up this this historic funding. That's already happened in his administration and his history of support. Nice reviews so now. Let's go back over the history. The american rescue plan. If i'm mistaken gave a significant amount of relief funding abc's correct. Yes lamerica rescue plan. Game over four billion dollars of funding as we see us of that one point six billion dollars was used specifically to write off debt that came from the capital improvement loans. That people get at their institutions. And so you're talking about dorms. Labs and being able to build buildings across campus and help you infrastructure in vietnam to write off all of that debt in so one point. Six billion for multiple. Hvac us. I think you was forty plus hvac us. We're able to benefit from that alone. So the american rescue plan. Even you know look at the store remark. Just what has been done in. American rescue plan is more than what the stories of saying is coming from the binding administration and so. That's what justin teased to make it. A little more frustrating and then there was grant funding in fiscal year. Twenty one correct yes. There's grant funding in fiscal year. Twenty one to disown about a billion dollars half wits. Five hundred million which was specifically geared towards. Hec use ms is other minority serving institution so that that funding is already coming down the pike not not to mention the funding that was there for the centers of excellence for teachers colleges. So it goes on and on honestly okay and so where we are now is. There's the budget requests. If i'm not mistaken before congress and that's that's where we're kinda hung up right now right right and so was. Is the budget request. That the bad administration may and i guess that include bill back better and all that that's the forty five billion than trying to figure out. Yes that's forty billion the upgrading institutions. Half which again goes. Abc's tcu's ms is and so that number is even you know there's no set number two even pull from that. In order to make the insertion dad has been cut by especially at large number. And you know you understand. People react in the way to do. And that's you know that's a big number this is not the case. There's not the case more 'em ip after this message you could see in tastes bacon from wake. Vox dot com. Graham is available everywhere audio books are sold and so this is pretty much in congress's hands correct. I mean there and is it in their hands in the context of this ongoing debate. This happening now the postponement of infrastructure bill in favor of also getting a vote on build back better. This is embedded in bill back better. Yes this is embedded in bill that better which is which is in in congress's court but with the president pushing his arms and can't to make sure that acu have funded the any so would it be fair to say brother trade. That is not the bad administration but right now we are subject to the decision. Congress makes speak for the administrate. And i just hate that. The president put the marker out. It'll be up to congress to legislate in to get something back to his desk league time. But i guess to frankly the question for some ao and maybe it's not fair but people look at it bad administration you look at kama harris h. b. c. You alarm and all of that. And i guess people wanna know cow like the other issues kind of like for the people. John lewis filibuster. All those issues people are saying why can't biden just do like lyndon johnson drop a ham on these fools and make them do what we need them to do. I think we've seen the the administration come out in full force on on a lot of this. The president just went to capitol hill to talk to democratic caucus about this in employer of the historic opportunity that we have the infrastructure plan. Build back better plans social agenda. That will come up and so that that work is is happening. Dan i think the president is.

"I guess you know for decades really but really ramped up on the last few years. live scientists spoke out including a to us during the trump ears about political interference with science scientific work and career employees. At scientific agencies the biden administration came in promising to turn a new leaf on that front. They try the president. Signed an executive order within a few days of taking office to reinstate and revamped scientific integrity policies across government To sort of make sure that they're starting standards at every agency that would prevent interference in science that scientists have the ability to conduct their work without any sort of pressure that they can talk to the people. They need to talk to that. They can talk to the press. If if you know in the right circumstances and this issue and others that we've seen come up sort of call into question the commitment to that Epa in response to this These allegations reiterated that. They're they're committed to transparency and open dialogue and and providing the right environment for scientists to be able to do their work But you know we're seeing some groups And employees call that into question to some extent You know. I think that there was a little bit more of an extreme situation. Under the trump years because there was employees that were literally seeing their reports Being fudged after they turn manner. They were being excluded from important meetings Or they were being told directly like you know. You have to have this outcome. The sharpie gate situation you know is is one famous example of that although that it was one of many So you know. We haven't yet seen things rice that level But you know the the there's communities out there that wanna see biden really. Walk the walk here and there. They're you know starting to raise some questions as to whether that's happening i think to sort of build on. What what you just said like these organizations like the union of concerned scientists and public employees for environmental responsibility. they're not Some kind of trump aligned set of organizations so when when there's comparative analysis analysis done between the biden and trump administration's yes. There's not a sharpie gate incident. There's not a question about numbers about science science numbers and and measurements but in the individual agencies. The seems to be more. You know still coming out so at some point how do the two administrations compare in that sense. And is it just that the by administration isn't up to snuff even if it's better than the trump administration yeah..

"This exact date where we bring you the federal stories that really matter it's august thirteenth. Twenty twenty one. I'm restaurant for to the biden administration. Promised to listen to and empower government experts. When making policy including the scientists guiding science policy administration officials also promise increased transparency including at the science agencies seven months into joe biden's presidency however these promises have not always been kept in the case of increased transparency epa administrator. Michael regan last month instructed employees to follow epa's eternal deliberative processes in dealing with the press. The suggestion goes against a biden memo on a new task force on scientific integrity that specifically called for officials to quote identify effective practices regarding engagement of federal scientists as well as contractors working on scientific bash agencies with the news media speaking of exact a spokesman from public employees for environmental responsibility as the operative question is the epa transparent or is it still opaque similarly the administration has promised to power government scientists but a recent report from today's guests suggests that is not necessarily always the case. A recent directive prohibits some scientists from discussing their work among themselves outside groups are asking for the directive to be scrapped saying the current system prevents workers for properly protecting the public for potentially hazardous materials. A senior scientist at the union of concerned. Scientists said that the policy is against standard scientific procedure and is hard to justify. The by administration came into office with the promise of centering science more than its predecessor. The with these epa policies in place many in the scientific community have raised questions about these promises. Air covers ep for us. Here got exac. You're not gonna have to deal with any of this crap. Check this out. Did you not get the cdc's memo. I don't see you guys complying. And i say that jokingly but i think that that may be a sign of potentially seeking to do more things into the future and i think it's very important that we say unequivocally no closures no to restrictions and no mandates floridians are free to choose all americans should be free to choose how they govern their affairs. How they take care of themselves and our families and they should not be consigned to live regardless of which state in the union consigned live in a falcon dystopia in which we're governed by the whims of bureaucratic authorities to care little for our freedom little for our aspirations and little for happiness. "I'm rozelle. It is wednesday today the very last day of june this time round. Good as always to have you along everybody. Lots of news today. Lots of news about which you will have heard lots elsewhere in the news firehose so we choose today to stay in our lane. Keep our eye on the economic ball and begin with this news that is being widely reported that the white house is working on an executive order that would tighten oversight of industries that are dominated by just a couple of really big companies. Everything is dylan draft. Of course but the gist is that. Instead of relying on antitrust enforcement as it's traditionally known federal these draft executive orders say should promote competition and everything from agriculture to healthcare by using regulation marketplace. Meghan mcardle carino gets us going without the problems. The executive order is aimed at solving arise when just two or three companies dominate a particular business. The government can us antitrust law in those situations but also it's affected by decisions of every department and the government whether it's the department transportation or health and human services or the agriculture department. All of them can make decisions that lead to more monopolies or fewer monopolies. Jason furman is an economist at harvard. Who served as chair of the council of economic advisers under president obama in two thousand sixteen just months before donald trump was elected president firm and helped craft an executive order that leveraged the power of all those industry regulators. We told every department to go out and find things in their areas that would increase competition. The agency's proposed new rules. One would have let consumers access television without a cable box. Another required airlines to be more transparent about baggage fees yet another would've protected poultry farmers but the trump administration rolled back many of those rules and now the biden administration is looking at reopening the door to new rules in a whole bunch of industries. We have problems in healthcare. We have problems food and agriculture. We have problems who telecommunications diana moss is the president of the american antitrust institute she says with biden considering this order much earlier in his term his administration stands a better chance of unraveling some of the consolidation. That's happened in those industries that is if they can get new. Rules passed the inevitable lawsuits. That could be heard by president. Trump's judicial appointees. I'm megan mccarthy carino for marketplace. Tomorrow the most powerful job on the planet loses a little piece of that power. The job of course is president of the united states. And what is being lost is something called trade promotion authority. The ability presidents have had on and off through the years depending on a congress feeling to negotiate a trade deal and send it to congress without running the risk of congress. Trying to rewrite it. Marketplace's remeasure is on the trade desk today picture. It eighteen twenty eight. John quincy adams is president and congress passes something called the tariff of abominations wasn't formally named that but that's the montrose given out troas past. Doug irwin is professor of economics. At dartmouth congress was fighting over whether tariffs should be high or low the opponents of the high tariffs can adding to the tariffs in hopes. That would become so bad. Other members of congress voted down but instead remember today. This is actually pretty good. So that's why they call it an abomination afterwards it is an example of how congress can mess up trade policy in nineteen seventy four is trade. Deals became more complex. Congress agreed to temporarily give the president authority to negotiate with other countries over trade. Mary lovely is with. The peterson institute. Basically means that once an agreement is reached by the president. Congress needs to vote it up or down. Take it or leave it. Antonio ortiz mena is with the albright group. He helped negotiate the original nafta on the mexican side without trade promotion authority. He says you would never end up concluding negotiations you would be negotiating with the executive branch and then you would be negotiating with dozens of house members and senators too. Many cooks in the kitchen. President biden is leading that power laps now mostly because while the trade deal kitchen is closed. He wants to focus on enforcement of existing trade deals before going through the ordeal of creating new ones in new york. I'm sure for marketplace on wall street today as the first half of twenty twenty one goes in the record books. More record highs. Lots of green. What me worry..

"States. And you have people who say will we want to be in the united states so now we have to move to be in the united states. We're not going to be part of this rebel crew. We're not going to be part of these rebel rousers. So they're going to pack up their families and they're going to move but then you have people who were in places like new york massachusetts. Boston gonna say we don't want to be part of the united states where this is how we are dictated to. So they're going to move on our south so we're looking at a two way mass exodus of people swapping sides. The next thing that is going happen is the. Us is going to say no. You're not allowed to do this. You're not allowed. It's illegal for you to do this. And we're going to respond. My saying is illegal for you to steal it election. It's illegal for you to tread on our second amendment rights. It's illegal for you to do stupid. Shit like pack. The supreme court is illegal for you to do a whole laundry list of shit that you've done so why is your illegal okay. For but are illegal quote illegal is not. I'm going to again reiterate. Going to again reiterate what it was said in the bill of rights as far as it is our duty as americans. If we feel that our government is no longer has the best interest of its people and if we feel that we cannot do the due diligence that has done and supposed to be done for each and every american then it is our right and it is our duty to change the government and this is where we're gentlemen that is correct and i love how the other side of the all they continue to repeat that. It's the will of the american people that we do these things it's the will have. Y'all heard that phrase that took are. They never asked me that it is the we are doing the will of the american people i sent you guys a message. Last night i was. I started watching a movie called fahrenheit. Four fifty one. And it's a it's a fiction movie. It's kind of an action movie but it takes place after the second civil war where in this case the same side wins. The may be the other side of the ball for us wins route and they try to completely totally disavow all publication except for what they want published. They have mass book burnings. People were arrested if they have a book. It's a little on the extreme side. But what does it remind glove. That's kind of where i was going with us. There were their big deal was censorship. we're going to censor what you see what you hear what you've read. We're going to censure whatever you know all the information that comes into you except for what we allow you to hear what we allow you to read what we allow you to believe. How is that any different than what you're starting to do. What's in that remind you of. I'll give you two chances to countries rig. Does that remind you. China and russia germany. But germany's one and the current one is what afghanistan us the us of on nope north korea north korea. Everybody north korean takes kim jong un. Is these cream leader. North koreans have no clue of the outside world ever and they run the country. Right in here is making comparisons good. I'm going to compare this to win. There were five hundred and thirty eight treaties signed by the united states government to the native americans indians of this land. Every one of those treaties never come to fruition. Every one of those treaties have been broken by comparison. Here is this. I'm hearing the same thing coming out of a us government that. We're going to take care of you. I'm hearing from the us government. We have the best for you in our in mind. I'm hearing the same kind of rhetoric coming out of this government as it was back two hundred years ago. That is a future of america. If this continues you will see what's going on you pull that off and you can look into. The future is the where your family away. I guess i wanted to start off tonight kind of talking about what's going on down at the us mexico border rick. I know that this is kind of a far far deal for you. You don't really. i don't know if you don't see it or you don't feel as much as james and i do. But what are your thoughts on it. Being three removed from the border guys. It's coming right up. I thirty five okay. Flowing right in to the center of the united states in every town that they can be dropped off in every house that can hold eight or ten people. It's affecting all of us it's affecting jobs it's affecting people. It is affecting the way that commerce is done as far as groceries. Our welfare system is completely overloaded. It is unundated with families of six eight ten twelve kids in a family. We just just called last week to ask about that. And the lady that. I spoke to at the wichita department of child care. Services said that they give up they have no more resources to give out and yet they're still more coming. You read a report. Today that said in the month of february and everybody knows of february's a short month there's only twenty eight days. In february. there was a one hundred saying that came across the border in twenty eight days. One hundred thousand. That's thirty six hundred people a day streaming into the united states. Yes and we're looking at one point. Two million who are year. That's correct over the next four years million. Yeah so we owe nine line right now yes we are and then. We have our our leadership. I wonderful president and his staff who were saying that the border is not in crisis. James kind of care to comment on that you know there. There's the panel. There's a panel going on right now so let me There's a panel going on right now in dc trying to figure out what to call this thing besides a crisis There literally is. They're trying to figure out what to name this thing because they don't want to use the word prices but lynn you deploy fema which is federal emergency management. There's an emergency going on okay. In whether they want to admit it or not you know. Hey it's all trump's fault so they said this not again. I was You know the policies he had in a place that the border this mad. It's all his fault. Well you know it was also trump's fault that the air force one steps were not as thirty. They should have been because you know by trip. All going up this and they did rebuild steps and air force in a stupid about that but this the end the border thing is all his fault. I kind of beg to differ. Because you know we haven't had this problem and when you have immigrants and illegals at the border wary biden t shirts. They're wearing fighting lettuce in t shirts. helped me understand how that somebody else's fault. I don't get that that just doesn't add up to me So in the meantime they're They're shifting so today They spent somebody down there. From the parvin holiest dirty and this guy went down there and said okay. We're gonna go ahead and close close the border we're going to close out about everything's under control down here folks nothing to see here. Don't worry go ahead move well. It kinda doesn't work like that because you might be able to close the point of entry but all the points that were being built to secure the border. You're not floats. They're still coming in and they're not turning anybody away and the bringing kobe and see the united states it looks his just not just for. Mexico is not just folks columbia for people from afghanistan in Wait i This folks have gathered from iraq land in chicago and crossing the border and They're getting in here. Who knows what's going through. Somebody's people might be legit. Some of my be actually looking for a better opportunity but on the other hand we don't know because some of them may be terrorists. Some of you know fat folks across that border. We have no control over it right. Now and fifty percent of our drug problem in america is coming there are crystal methamphetamine and all that other good stuff is coming through the border right. They're making everything is just gonna get worse now. I wanna i wanna make a comparison here. If i can james what did you say. That number was annually. One point four million one point two at the rate is going right now. One point one five or one point two million annually that is double the amount of deaths in the united states from the pandemic. But this is an emergency. Who's reading several articles today on. What's going on down there. And you know they're talking about you know when somebody comes across the border. They're detained. They're supposed to be detained right right. While they're being detained they assess whether or not they are political refugees or whatever the case may be they have gone as far as to get hotels for these people can make a comment on that real quick. Yes sure it's an eighty two million dollar contract to the hotel industry in the next six months. I just got that information this afternoon. Eighty two million dollar contract to the hotels within the next six months to house this immigration outlooks.
