Joe Moreno: Never Expected a Trump Arrest in NYC
"Be honest with you, counselor. I'm confused. I was promised in a rest and I don't see anything in the all thing, do you? No, Jeff, I gotta be honest. I never did. I always thought this was a lot of theater and a way to keep Donald Trump in the news in a negative way. I feel like the left really like this theme that the walls are always closing in and Donald Trump is always just around the corner. This is kind of serious trouble for him. And he doesn't do himself a lot of favors when he seizes the rains, but I guess he likes to get in front of something, right? He never wants to be caught on his back foot. So I kind of get why he's doing that. But look, I think for a lot of us, we expect a lot of drama from our political leaders, right, whether it's Congress, whether the committees, whether it's state level politicians, we expect a certain amount of going before the cameras and a certain degree of un seriousness. But we hope that doesn't infect the legal process. And I think that seems like that's what's happening now. Like the legal process is being used as a political weapon. And that's bothersome to a lot of us who really want to see that process independent and clean and going after criminals based on if there were crimes committed, not if there are political enemy.

Rep. Ralph Norman: If America Defaults, It's on Biden
"Trying to wrap my head around these numbers Congress, but they're insane. Not only is it saying, but when you ask, go down Main Street USA in ask any business owner or any family, how things going for you. What do you think about the price of gas? Is your business doing well? What about supply shortages of things? And no, the countries are tough shape. And it's all self induced. It's self induced by the administration. It took over a booming economy back from president Trump was in office. But the good news is, I mean, it's like taking your car to mechanic, can tell you all the wrong things, but I think what Americans want to know is how are you going to fix it? The way you're going to fix it is what we're doing. Okay. And so is it going to make everybody happy? No. But we're starting the trajectory of less spending in a balanced budget and if the president shuts this economy down, if the president causes America to default, it's going to be on him because we're getting our budget out in a timely manner. And it's going to be for all Americans to see starting tomorrow. We told the press today we're going to file all our amendments today and they can look and see if what we're doing if we're doing what we say we're doing, which we are.

Rep. Ralph Norman: Freedom Caucus Submits Amendments to Biden Budget
"When the 20 of us basically told balked on voting for McCarthy, who speak of the house as a powerful position, they determined who who serves on what committees, what bills come to the floor and start in line for president. One of the things that we reason we did that was because initially, when we ask about a 7 year budget balance of the budget 7 years, he said, no, we said when is it going to be? He said 20 years. And that's when we voted. That's when we said enough is enough. The American people don't deserve this and we just go hold out until we find somebody who will balance the budget and get us back on financial sanity. The good news is we had a press conference this morning, freedom caucus has put forward 504 amendments, which is cutting the budget deeply. And basically, and I will have to give mister McCarthy credit he is doing what he said he would do because we've got such a short runway to correct what's going on in this country. So bottom line, I'm encouraged with the direction we're going. Every dollar spent in D.C. though has got an advocate. And it's going to be some fights. We got the debt ceiling showdown. We've got the budget itself, but we've got a core group of conservatives who are not going to take no for an answer.

Police: Nashville shooter bought 7 guns before school attack
"President Biden says he's done what he can. Now it's up to Congress to help curb the gun violence. The president says he's exhausted his executive authority. I can't do anything except leave with the Congress to act reasonably. That was here at The White House before leaving fort North Carolina, where the president renewed a call for lawmakers to ban assault style weapons. Why in God's name do we allow these weapons of war on our streets? And at our schools. The president says he knows people wonder why he keeps unsuccessfully calling for a ban. Because I want you to know who isn't doing it. Who isn't helping? Not long before that, number two Senate Republican John thune was asked if Congress will take up gun legislation. This is premature to talk about it. And I think there are a lot of grieving hurting families in Nashville. Sagar Meghani at The White House.

Reporter: Is There a 'New Way' to Talk About Gun Violence?
"Asking a question that, well, it's twisted, but you have to listen to it. Cut number 15, please. Pointed to last year's bipartisan reforms. As well as alluded to the executive actions we think of just a few weeks ago. And then you also pointed out a panacea. But is there any disappointment from the administration that these efforts haven't had more of an effect on lessening the scourge of terrible islands? The shooting in Nashville has an unusual component in that the gun, the gunman is actually a woman and adult woman has been identified now 28 years old. Does the president have any expectation that when looking for a new way to talk about gun violence? We've been through sandy hook in the Obama years within three Yuval. In this administration, looking for some way to have circumstances change how Americans feel about it. Tennessee is obviously a state with a gun culture as a part of its identity for many tennesseans who live there and believe in a gun culture. Do you think there is any component of this like having a female suspect highly unusual? Like in a single digit percentage of this, it could be a point for him to address to try to break through on a subject that has thus far not make change in the legislative realm. So look, I know that the reporting on the shooting is still coming out. So I want to be very mindful and not get I've heard that I've heard or watched those reportings as well before coming out, so I just want to be very mindful to not get ahead of I'm sure there'll be an investigation. They're looking into it. Just want to be careful from here. Look, the president is going to continue to take action to reduce gun violence.

The Biden Admin Cares About 'Firsts' Not the 'Best'
"So it all became about firsts in the last two years. Right? The Biden administration said, you know, we have to have a secretary of transportation because that's just the way the whole thing operates. So who are you going to get, mister president? Are you going to get someone who has a lot of experience in the transportation field? Are you going to get somebody who really knows about the operations of interstate highways or railroads or airplanes or I don't know, whatever it is that the Department of Transportation? No, no, Jeff. We're looking for first. So look, we found this guy, Pete Buttigieg. And what's his qualification? Well, he's got two qualifications, really. Number one on the transportation front as a child he owned a train set, so I mean, really. Can you get much better than that? And number two, which is really number one, because this is a first, he's gay. So he will be the first ever gay secretary of transportation to which I respond who cares. Is he the best person for the job, Jeff? We don't deal in bests. We deal in firsts. Our current minister of propaganda. Kareem John Pierre. The best? Gosh, all you have to do is watch or listen to one of her briefings and you know. Not the best even if everybody else didn't bother showing up. She's still not the best. But she's a first. Right? She's the first black immigrant, lesbian, press secretary. Does anybody really care about that? Honest to goodness, is there anybody sitting at home going, oh, that is fantastic. Of course not.

Debt ceiling impasse: McCarthy presses Biden to negotiate

In a letter, speaker Kevin McCarthy says the president is now on the clock. It's time to set a meeting to avoid a crisis, so far number two Senate Republican John thune says the president's been unwilling. Frankly, I think it's ridiculous. The White House responds to McCarthy. We've seen the letter, but where's the budget? Spokeswoman Olivia Dalton repeating what the president's long said. McCarthy and the GOP should publicly present their own budget ideas. Here at The White House, officials insist the president will not entertain proposed program cuts simply in exchange for lifting the debt limit. Then he got down to delivering the message that he wanted to deliver. And we have to do more to stop gun violence. It's ripping our communities apart, ripping a soul, this nation, and ripped at the very soul of the nation. And we have to do more to protect our schools, so they aren't turned into prisons. You know, a shooter in this situation reported we had two assault weapons for the pistol to AK-47. So I call on Congress again to pass my assault weapons ban. Nashville shooter was ex-student with detailed plan to kill
"Nashville police say the former student who mapped out their plan before attacking a Christian elementary school may have been driven by resentment. Residents gathered at the Belmont United Methodist Church in Nashville Monday night to hold each other up in prayer after a deadly shooting at the covenant school. Metropolitan Nashville police chief John Drake says a suspect who killed three children and three staffers at their former school left evidence that is being reviewed. We have a manifesto. We have some writings that we're going over that pertain to this day, the actual incident. We have a map drawn out of how this was all going to take place. Drake did not say what drove the shooter to open fire before being killed by police, but he told NBC News that investigators believe the shooter had some resentment for having to go to that school. Audio courtesy, in remarks yesterday, President Biden says Congress must pass legislation that will help fight gun violence. Come on, Chris, this is like iconic, no. Oh, I think part of it has to do with the fact that you got to understand today, everything is computer generated graphics. And when this one came along, it not only had the beautiful special effects, which for us was actually, I mean, this was the best that we had. This wasn't like, you know, it's sort of like, when you go back in time and you talk about the kind of toys that we had to play with as kids and stuff like that. The Financial Guys
"biden " Discussed on The Financial Guys
"The American people. The Biden administration has a history of covering things up. We're seeing that with the Biden family influence peddling investigation. They're trying to cover things up. And it's getting to the point to where people are starting to realize, this isn't a political investigation. This is a serious investigation because there are too many connections to China. Too many connections to anonymous donations in the tune of to the tune of millions of dollars. And I'm going to go back to what I said, two stuff. And as much as like I said, I agree with him. I obviously said that earlier too. But I'm going to go back to what I said. At the end of the day, take all these facts where the documents were held, what's going on all this stuff. If we're going to treat one president or former president, that is, one way. And we're going to treat the current president who was a vice president at the time when he had those documents, a different way. It doesn't make much sense to me. Forget to Hunter Biden, forget Donald Trump Jr., forget the garage, forget locked up Mar-a-Lago. Forget that all. Why is it different? And that I have not been answered yet. Why is it different? Yeah, and I think that's the outrage justifiable outrage from those of us on the right is saying, well, wait a minute. You know, literally guns blazing in tomorrow Lago, S.W.A.T. teams, arrayed, and that's how they treat Donald Trump, a Republican who happens to be running for president, potentially against Joe Biden in 2024. And here this guy's driving in and out of his garage is like, oh, by the way, here's classified documents as well. You know, rules for thee, but not for me. That is the hypocrisy of it. And look, that's why I genuinely believe because there's a lot of high powered people on the left who are not vigorously coming to Joe Biden's defense. I mean, look, in the next clip, we're going to play. Adam Schiff, who you think would be putting the tape on the knuckles and swinging for The White House. Not exactly coming out in a very strong way in defending President Biden. Should they have been more forthcoming for this information have been revealed earlier? I think the administration will need to answer that question. I'm going to reserve judgment until they do. But I think it's important to point out that the Biden approach was very different in the sense that it looks as far as we can tell that it was inadvertent that these documents were in these locations. I mean, he really isn't swinging hard defending the president. No, and I will say that this is one of my favorite things ever.

Opening Arguments
"biden " Discussed on Opening Arguments
"In the left, the president says otherwise. As a matter of fact, if they consider their vice president, they have delegated authority from the president to declassify things. I did not know that. I would add, like, just. Is the president now. So he could actively declassify under that theory. And I just want you to think about for a moment if he were to have done so. Just think about that. It's discovered and then Biden says oh, well, you know, whatever those documents are, I now declassify them. I would be calling for Biden's impeachment, right? That would be gravely irresponsible as a matter of national security, right? I mean, right now I'm supporting Biden in this, but only sort of with a little asterisk on it because there is no evidence that I've seen that any of this was conscious and he was trying to pull a Trump. If that changes, then come back to me. Well, again, you keep saying he like, do we know, again, is this a movers? Now the fun part is though that if you go back to Trump little mental mind bullet of the classification. Then I'm going to get wonder boy in here as many times as he does. You know, I thought you were referencing that and I wasn't a 100% sure, but now I'm glad you said it. And the way he framed it and he said, there was a standing order that things get removed from the white from the executive office were declassified wasn't that would include Biden Saturn. And so he could. He didn't say things that I removed. He said things were removed. Oh, well, you see the standing psychic order only applied as long as enough Magi were creating it mentally, I don't know how this is supposed to work. "Yeah, the church committee did some good and they did some bad. They uncovered COINTELPRO, which was the FBI's abuse of the investigatory process with people like Martin Luther King, they did screw up the CIA. So it's a delicate thing. Let me close by asking you about messaging from Kevin McCarthy. He is the speaker of the rules package pass got a couple of chairman named the debt limit is approaching spring or summer. They need a message about what they want before they raise the debt limit and they need it to be concise and they need to be specific. Who frames that message, David drucker? Because everybody wants 25 different things. Who gets to say what they want? Is it speaker McCarthy? Well, I think that's the first being challenge that speaker McCarthy is going to have. Can he does he have the faith of his members, particularly the house freedom caucus and others not in the freedom caucus who opposed him initially to allow him to frame the message and negotiate, excuse me, negotiate with Senate Democrats and President Biden. And I think key to developing a winning message is a message that includes raising the debt ceiling under a scenario in which it is plausible for Biden and Senate Democrats to agree. You can drive a hard bargain, but it has to be a bargain. I like to say you have to be willing to buy the house for a price that some people would consider within the realm of being reasonable. Yes. If you offer you offer ten cents for my condo that's appraised at $300,000, I'm going to laugh you out of the room. If you offer two 50, now we're talking deal, even if I end up selling for less than I wanted. Now, if I say, we're not going to open up the debt limit until we shut down the border. We want the fence finish. We want the border patrol double. Is that in your view, a fair offer is that a dime for condo. Listen, I don't want to place a value judgment politically on it. I don't think that that's an unreasonable request in myriad negotiations. I don't think that that is the proper way to approach the debt ceiling because you're asking Democrats to bend the knee in such a way that they're going to find it nearly impossible to comply. And you know, I do think it is because I think when Joe Biden went to the border, he signaled he knows it's a problem. That's my, that's my view, but whatever it is, I want him to articulate it soon and often like every day, whatever the message is, whatever they ask if, and you're right, it's got to be reasonable. Gotta be reasonable. David director is right again. Follow him at the dispatch follow him and David in drucker, thank you, David..

"And I have every confidence they will. Now, mister vice president got to talk to you about President Biden's papers. At the time, he was vice president when he took papers that were classified with him. And now we have a special counsel appointed to look into presidential candidate Donald Trump's papers, and we have the very same issue being sent off to the U.S. attorney in Chicago. How do you explain that double standard? Are they protecting the president, President Biden from the same sort of prosecutorial focus and resources that are being directed against your partner in governing former president Trump? Is it shocks me? What does Mike Pence think about it? Well, as I said last summer, when the home of a former president of the United States was raided by FBI agents that I was deeply troubled by that action at the time and this double standard is justice troubling. There's that old saying that if they didn't have double standards, they have no standards at all. And Hugh, this is whether it be the administration or whether it be the media, a papering over this. Look, it was a massive overreach by the FBI. A massive overreaction this summer to execute a search warrant at the personal residence of a former president of the United States and I said so. But having now created that standard and now abandoned that standard when the current president of the United States is found to have had classified documents in his possession after leaving office. I think just I have no words right now. It's incredibly frustrating to me. But the original sin here was the massive overreach. I served on the judiciary committee for the better part of 11 years in the Congress of the United States. And I believe that rank and file of the FBI are some of the best men and women in this country, but the decision by the senior leadership of the Justice Department to execute a search warrant against a former president in the United States was wrong. It was an overreach. And as that special counsel goes forward, I've said before, I hope they take a half step back and think very deeply before taking any action against a former president of the United States in terms of the message that says to the world, the message that sends to the people of this country, the divisive nature of that. But there's an old saying in the Bible that what you saw, you reap and I couldn't help but think that headline yesterday was an example of the truth of that proverb. And I want the American people to understand when I'm talking with you. I'm not, I think this is all nonsense. Every former president ends up with the mix up in the papers. It just happens. Nevertheless, if you're going to point a special counsel, you had to deal with Robert Mueller and Andrew weissman and all those people as detailed in so help me God. I do not understand for the life of me how the same issue for people who are both running for President Biden and Trump does not end up with the same special counsel and you know special counsels are different from U.S. attorneys. They have unlimited authority unlimited budget and no oversight. I think it's egregious that it did not go. The Biden papers matter did not go to Jack Smith. What do you think? I couldn't agree more. Look, there's equal treatment in the law is at the very center of the expectation of the American people. Yes. And of our history and our tradition. And to your point, this does not represent the appointment what the Biden administration said they were going to tap somewhat appointed in the Trump administration to take a look at it while president Trump faces down a special counsel and you're right. It's deeply troubling to me. But again, the action last summer was wrong. Yes. And I said so. And it's now the reality is that now that what they have unleashed now has the threat of coming back on them. But the willingness of the national media is to just turn away and turn a deaf ear to the Biden and to disclosures that when vice President Biden left office he left with classified documents as well. It just shows you it's like I said before, if they didn't have double standards they'd have no standards at all. Mister vice president take extra pens with you to the villages today because the line is going to be long and they're all going to want to talk to you. You're going to be there forever. You might be there tomorrow by the time. Thank you, Mike Pence. Always a pleasure to talk to you, mister vice president..

"I'm going to do a getter live Q&A. So if you want to hop on that, you're welcome to do it. I'm going to talk on today's episode about Biden's gas problem. Well, Oprah, I just say Biden's other gas problem. The problem with gas, prices and Biden's attempt to constantly blame it on someone else. I'll examine the arrest of the Colbert film team for unauthorized entry into the U.S. capitol. Are they going to be charged with insurrection? I'm going to examine whether a western sanctions are hurting or helping Russia. And I also consider a couple of new fact checks in my continuing debunking of the debunkers of 2000 mules. This is the next just who's a show. America needs this voice. The times are crazy, and a time of confusion, division, and lies. We need a brave voice of recent understanding and truth. This is the dinesh d'souza podcast. We're all feeling the pinch and in some cases the squeeze on gas prices, gas prices that are reflection of a larger current of inflation. That is self inflicted almost wound on America that has been done by the Biden administration. This is not the same, by the way, as the stagflation and the gas crisis of the 1970s, Jimmy Carter was partly responsible for that as policies were inept, but there was an external driver, and that was OPEC. Now Biden would say in this case, well, there is an external driver. It's Ukraine, but the difference, of course, is that the United States has plenty of ability to meet its own gas needs. I just filled up the car, I forget $85. And I didn't start with it being on rock bottom empty, that you just were. Now 5 20 in Texas, and this means it's going to be 6, $7 in other places. Now, Biden is talking about, well, here's Biden. My message is simple. Do the companies running gas stations bring down the price you are charging at the pump. Do it now. Do it today. So this is what we get from this unhinged character. He doesn't well, I won't say he doesn't realize he does realize, but he nevertheless says these absurd things that ignore markets ignore supply and demand, ignore the effect of his own policies, ignore the fact that if you rescinded his own executive orders, things would immediately get better. Look, first of all, the gas companies don't run the gas stations. Most of these gas stations are mom and pop own, their franchises typically the owners of these gas stations make two to three cents a gallon and they don't set the price. I mean, the price is set really by the price of getting the gas, the taxes, the distribution and marketing, the refining, and there's also the global supply and demand. Now, Biden has antagonized Saudi Arabia, and so Saudi Arabia is not exactly willing to play fiddle. You may say with Biden, Biden has talked about going there. In July, we'll see if that happens. And so Biden blames everybody but himself for this. By and large, a United States makes currently U.S. oil companies deliver about 16 million barrels of oil a day. The country uses about 19 million. Do we have the other 3 million barrels? We can certainly get them. Biden doesn't want to get them. In fact, he thinks it's kind of a good thing that we're suppressing the oil and gas industry in this country so that we can make a transition to fossil fuels. He has closed three refineries. He is canceled permits and leases and Alaska and the gulf. He's reduced leases on federal land. He's told financial institutions not to lend money to oil companies. So this is an aggressive anti fossil fuels campaign by the Biden administration, and now they are in a very awkward position. They're sort of telling the oil companies we want you to manufacture more now, but long term we want you to plan for kind of phasing down what you're doing. And there's even been some suggestion that oil companies should get into the sort of climate change business and invest in alternative fuels. Well, the Chevron CEO, this is Mike worth. Sent a letter to Biden, where he basically said, listen, you've got to stop this demagoguery. A quote, addressing the situation requires thoughtful action and the willingness to work together, not political rhetoric. Your administration has largely sought to criticize and at times vilify our industry. Now, this is written in the measured prose of the corporate bureaucrat. He's actually being grossly understated. Biden's declared war on these guys, and these guys need to fight back. The tone of this letter to me is a little bit defensive. Biden recently attacked ExxonMobil. Literally saying that they are quote making more money than God. We're still God doesn't make money. But anyway, this was kind of a crude phrase, implying that this is price gouging by the oil companies. But no, this is ultimately a problem that's caused by two things. One is the United States decision to penalize Russia by imposing sanctions. We're not going to buy Russian oil. I'll talk later in the podcast, but what impact all of this is having on Russia as it turns out the Russians may be doing just fine. And so this ends up being something that a sanction that backfires on the sanction or without having a whole lot of impact on the sanctioning. Gas prices have been rising since Biden took office. This has been this started before the Ukraine war, and it's continued, perhaps exacerbated after that. Continuing with Mike Warren's letter, oil companies need clarity and consistency on policy matters ranging from leases and permits and federal lands to the ability to permit and build critical infrastructure to the proper role of regulation that considers costs and benefits. So here you have a phrase that seems to have gone out of fashion. Costs and benefits. In other words, you weigh one against the other. It's a kind of a balance sheet of risks. And that's kind of how we all live our lives, right? Am I gonna, there's a risk if I get in my car that I might get into a car crash, but that's a low risk and at the same time I have to get to work. So the benefits exceed the risks. And this kind of measured rational evaluation, which we apply to our own lives, which should apply to all economic policy, seems to have gone out the window in.

"I'm back with investigative journalist video journalist drew Hernandez, drew, we've been talking about your work in D.C. and the protesters and the double standards. Let's pivot to the southern border because you have spent some time in Yuma, Arizona, previously you are in the Rio Grande valley. You're able to see up close what is happening with the border. So give us paint a picture of what you would see on a typical day or a typical night when you're out there. I think the area that you mentioned is called the gap. Tell us what the gap is and tell us what you saw. Yeah, so specifically the gap Yuma, Arizona. This was maybe about a week ago, two weeks ago, we were down there. And this is happening every single night. So before I give your viewers kind of the picture of what's taking place, this is happening every single night. We were there between 12 midnight to 5 in the morning because we were there trying to get some coverage during the day. And obviously the Arizona sun is just intense and it's crazy. So down there at the gap, it's just open. The wall that president Trump was working on down there at human Arizona was about to be completed, but obviously because of the Biden administration. It was brought to a halt. And so when you go down there, it's like a graveyard of just border wall just laying there. We call it the ruins next to the gap where it's millions of dollars of border wall that should have been put up and it's just an open border literally right down there in Yuma, Arizona. So we were down there during the day trying to get some coverage, but there is really nothing going on because of the heat. So one of the border patrol agents stopped us and he said, come back between midnight and 5 in the morning and I promise you, you're going to see what we're seeing on a daily basis on a nightly basis. So when we showed up, sure enough, a group and when they got sent over because the cartels, right? These cartels are dangerous. They take advantage of these migrants. They rape the women, the children, they exploit them. They'll send them from Mexico into the United States so that the border patrol can just intake them, put them on a bus and then send them on a plane wherever they claim to have family, but so this specific night when they were sent from the cartels, I actually went to the cartel, one of the they call them coyotes, like the ground runners. I went up to him and I asked him, how many of these people are there? It was this massive group dinesh. It was huge. It was, and I asked him, how many of this is how many people are here in just this one group. And he said between 608 hundred in one group that is huge for one group. Just sent straight in the United States and all the footage people can see it on my Twitter drew H live, just hundreds of people coming from Mexico straight into the United States through the open border and the border patrol because of the Biden administration has activated our border troll a border patrol to essentially be an Uber service for these illegals to get into the United States of America. Scott free. And it was a huge group mostly male dinesh, okay? We're seeing mostly males down here. So the mainstream media, the Biden administration will come out and say, oh, there are asylum seekers. It's mostly women and children. They need our help. That's why we need these NGOs and these Catholic organizations to help these poor families because they're fleeing persecution and fleeing climate change. I guess that's a thing now too. Like climate change persecution, I don't know. Anyways. It's all a lie, danesh, you know this. So when they say that, it's not necessarily true because we are seeing the ratio of more men, males, like these dudes are they look fit, they look healthy in the sense that they look well fed. I mean, you take a look at the ratio down there and it's not the case dinesh. There's a lot more men coming down. They're the southern border illegally. And we have no idea. You asked the border patrol dinesh, you asked them, do we know who these people are if they do have a file in the United States if they're a known rapist or a murderer, they do have those files, and then they could deport them immediately. If they do, they know, but if they don't, we have no idea. And we're talking about millions of people dinesh and since this administration was installed, millions have come across the southern border, and this specific night in Yuma, we were seeing people come from Russia from Georgia, from India, from Afghanistan, not just Honduras and Guatemala, not these Latin American countries, all of these foreign countries because this administration has signaled to the world that now that orange man is gone, now is your time to come into the United States of America. And that's what we're seeing. And we don't even know who these people are. That's what's so dangerous about this. And the border patrol will tell you just that. And I mean, drew, it also makes an open mockery, doesn't it? Of the legal immigration process. I mean, if I were standing in a long line to be legally admitted and someone tells me, hey, just show up at the Rio Grande or just show up in Yuma, you can cross a ditch and you'll be put on a bus and dispatch on the country. I mean, for a guy going through the legal process that makes you kind of a sucker, doesn't it? Absolutely. I mean, we've been here in stories. We've been talking to people down there as well. I mean, I even personally have in my own family. Some individuals that are doing it legally. They're doing it legally. They want to do it legally. And they have been put essentially on back order for nearly two years because of this. So what people don't understand, and obviously the far left doesn't understand anything. You know this. But it's like they say they're pro immigrant. So if we do legal immigration, the actual legal immigrants that are doing things the right way actually end up getting the short end of the stick and putting on a back order and they can't come into the United States, possibly the people we actually do want here that are going to be productive to society and add to American values that are pro Americana pro patriot that will forever be grateful that they're here. And contribute to what we're doing, the American Dream. No, no, they would rather just be illegal immigration, risk little girls getting abducted, little boys getting abducted and raped, wrist women being abducted and raped. They don't care. This is all about, this is the great reset, build back better globalist agenda where they're importing the third world because they want a controllable society. They don't want any dinesh d'souza's ever making a documentary ever again exposing their election fraud. They don't want to drew Hernandez on the ground, exposing just exactly what's happening. They don't want anybody that is aware of our patriotic constitutional values, speaking out against this regime. So just import a bunch of desperate people that will never question you ever again. In my opinion, that's what this is. Well, drew, I think you've summed it up in a very powerful way. Drew, thanks for joining us..

"Faced with oil prices that are high and moving higher, Joe Biden is doubling down and declaring as he just did. Quote, it is simply not true that my administration or policies are holding back domestic energy production. I mean, it's incredible that this guy can look into the cameras and say this with a straight face. And then the media just kind of nods like, yeah, that's right. He's speaking truth. Well, he's not. And since you're not going to get the YouTube or the Facebook fact checkers, checking Biden on this one, they just assume that what he says is true. They only fact check the other side, which is our side. Let me fact check Biden on this. Biden himself is been quoted saying multiple times, including in the presidential debates that he wants to end end fossil fuels. And he wants to end fossil fuels in America. He froze new drilling permits and stopped leases on federal lands. In fact, when he first took office, he moved to ban new oil and gas leases on federal lands, and that's by the way a huge slice of U.S. energy. Now that measure was stopped by the courts, but not for lack of trying by the Biden administration. One of the things that Democrats were saying and this is long before Putin invaded the Ukraine is that we have plenty of energy to meet our domestic needs. We don't need more. So you had the Democrats and you had the media. Basically, promulgating the message that, yeah, we are cutting back on oil and gas and that's a good thing because we don't really, we don't really need it. Of course, no one's going to forget. I don't think you are, that Biden shot down the Keystone XL pipeline on his very first day in office, he signed an executive order, and this was part of his campaign he himself said, the reverse a hundred or more Trump era policies. In June of 2021, Biden suspended oil and gas leases, the Trump had granted in Alaska, and this of course outraged the people in Alaska and local officials in Alaska because it was one of the key steps to expand energy production and to create self reliance for the United States. In fact, the left was so excited about what Biden was doing again before Ukraine to suppress domestic production that the climate activist Bill mckibben said that quote Biden's actions are quote well may well mark the official beginning of the end of the fossil fuel era. And he said they quote send a decisive signal about the end of one epoch and the beginning of another. So this was something Biden was doing and the Democrats were cheering and the media was steering. And now that it's become politically inconvenient, Biden's two strategies and number one try to blame it all all on Putin and number two declare with kind of brazen dishonesty that quote his administration. It is simply not true that my administration or policies are holding back domestic energy production even though.

Now they're gonna pay a huge political price for this because building a bridge can be difficult, but remember as Barack Obama used to say, the arc of history always bends towards justice, whatever that nonsense is that they always talk about. As we've called it before, Joe Biden's the kamikaze president, he's the means to the end president, he is the machiavellian intermediary president. He's the person that the entire left all kind of knows is never really going to be relevant or running for office again, but they're going to get everything they possibly can get done that might otherwise be unpopular to change the rules of the game so that they never actually have to compete again. Cut 20, a 2020 Biden voter slams Biden spending priorities as a waste of money. I need for the government to stop spending so much money on things that are worthless, play cut 11. I need for the government to stop spending so much money on things that are worthless. They're like what? That are not going to benefit the people. I mean, they're spending out in 95 masses. There's been all this money pumped in, are you saying it just hasn't made a difference in your life? Certainly not in my life personally. Do you agree with Chelsea that just hasn't made a difference in your life? It really hasn't made a difference at all. Yeah, it hasn't made a difference at all. Chuck Todd from NBC. He knows this. And it's starting to be set out loud. The Democrats have almost no path whatsoever to holding on the House representative. Now, I don't want Republicans to get cocky or arrogant. Are based needs to show up. We need to win over swing voters. We need to recruit good candidates. We have to make sure that we win 85 seats, not just a 20 seat majority. Democrats will claim victory if it's a 25 seat majority. Oh yeah, historically, it's really hard to hold on to the house. They'll do all that nonsense. We want a majority so dramatic that it's gonna take Democrats three, four, 5, 6, 7 election cycles that try to chip away at it. Play cut.

There were think about their messaging and then they came out and always seem to work for them. This time. it did not work for them. The president was hardly visible as he deposited his weekend retreats at camp david he left it to his spokesperson in a statement to reiterate that he does not regret his decision. An orderly drawdown is the phrase. The administration is sticking with in backfired. Royally and that is because he is the commander in chief. Commander in chief cannot be seen sitting alone at a table and camp david when this crisis is happening in that is what's coming down on new speak today the unfolding situation afghanistan developments that taking place in the last week. The steps were taking address rapidly-evolving events so what he had to do by speaking to the nation was first of all just show himself but also just to try to bring back. That confidence stands squarely behind my decision. Twenty years i've learned the hard that there was never a good time. Withdraw us forces. I'm jeremy siegel this is. Politico dispatch and today. This is without question the worst moment of his presidency natasha correctly on the blame game over afghanistan. In how it's placed president biden in a by this is the most incoming he has taken and the biggest probably disappointment. I would say from people even his own party even if they're not saying publicly they're saying it privately and that is because you know biden had really put himself forward as he is the foreign policy guy he's the quote unquote adult in the room. Ladies and gentlemen political wisdom halls that americans. the american public doesn't vote on foreign policy. But i think that's an old way of thinking. He said he separated himself from the pack over and over in the primary because he had all of this experience as vice president and for decades in the senate and of course on for relation senate committee twenty nineteen foreign policy is domestic policy in my view and domestic policy is foreign policy. They're deeply connected. Deeply connected set of choices. We make about how to advance the american way of life and our vision for the future and this was an area foreign policy. You know pulling out of afghanistan. This was an area where frankly people thought okay. No no one's gonna have this better than joe biden and so what ended up happening here. The speed with which the taliban took over afghanistan the us deploying more troops after the fact you know days after all of this is happening. I mean it's just it is. It is so goes up against the grain of everything that biden said he was. I think the most troubling. Then you're is. You're seeing the desperation of these afghans trying to get out terrified of the taliban. You know you're here in congress. People talk about how people are reaching out to them and saying that they're making suicide pacts in their in their communities because they're so terrified of the taliban kidnapping there they're girls. It could not get worse for joe biden at this moment because those headlines in the next couple of weeks i mean they will be relentless and those will go right back at biden fairly or unfairly but it will. It'll be on him. I wanna talk about how the administration has handled the fallout from this especially given the headlines. That are coming back to bite him because you mentioned that strategy. They've had of trying to let the dust settle in these situations and how that hasn't exactly worked here. There were days where americans watched terrifying images Terrifying stories coming out of afghanistan and didn't hear from their president. How would you characterize the way. The administration handled the situation over the weekend as the fall of kabul unfolded. Some of it is. You know it's just it's plainly it's unspeakable you can't really spin it. What do you say. There are scenes of panic and pandemonium in couple airport. Today as desperate people pour onto the runway trying to feed the country in what can only be described as chaotic exodus. Now people are literally kicked clinging on the us military our across as they tried to take off the us is in charge of their. You know you did have. Lincoln dispatch to the to the morning shows and saying this is not saigon. This is not our saigon back. This is manifestly not saigon the fact that matters this we went to afghanistan twenty years ago with one every time. He said that it just brought more attention to that parallel. The images that we're seeing is there's a lot of reminiscent of the last days of the vietnam war shows the rest of the world that when we're so dead set on doing something. We can't even orchestrate something that we've been staging for a long time in a way it looks like side-on two point zero to me. This is the beginning of biden's supposedly the beginning of a two week vacation for biden. He was going to go to camp david for part of it and to rehoboth beach back in delaware and they released a photo over the weekend of joe biden sitting at a table. A very long expansive table. All of the seats are empty. So he's sitting there alone staring at a screen and just it's real question of the imagery. Here pressure is growing on the biden administration to respond to that turmoil and afghanistan as the president faces criticism over. Us troops withdrawal obviously. They're trying to show that he was engaged in this his engagement. But just the image of the president sitting alone staring at a screen in the middle of this crisis it did not convey a lot of confidence to the american people and they're just getting really getting ridiculed for it. Republicans here are seeing vulnerabilities. And they're they're just jumping on them. There's you know they're trying to cast biden as you know. He failed cure somebody who said he was going to be this command tough commander in chief and he failed and it is very political and even in the midst of this crisis so on monday afternoon After the white house was criticized over it silence. The nation did finally hear from biden in a speech and one of the central messages that he had was that he did not regret his decision and that he didn't want to hand down this war to another american president. I will not repeat the mistakes we've made in the past mistake of staying in fighting indefinitely conflict is not in the national interest of the united states. This is a conflict that began under president. Bush vice president dick cheney and defense secretary donald rumsfeld played a big role in pushing the start of the war it continued under president obama and president trump. I mean is there validity to what biden said yesterday in the argument that if this does impact his legacy as as president he's essentially taking the fall for american leaders.

"This. Is avi number two knocking on the door con weeks ago that i know very well by hearing keyboard keys and others i close. We came to breaking breaking in the sector. Never happens again. We don't get that close again. So all of these stories are connected. You have a democrat and the left celebrating this more diverse more democratic looking electorate that the finally the end of the of white majority in america is coming to an end soon. You have clips from two thousand fifteen then vice president biden celebrating this fact although he was wrong on the timing because he's wrong on everything and then you have a southern border led by secretary. My orcas secretary admitting that the border almost broke in that sector the border almost fell there. And you have apprehensions in encounters at the southern border hitting a nether. Hi folks all of this is intentional. We are watching the stunning destruction of myriad policies in america in real time overnight so quickly under the biden administration from the border to inflation. We consumer sentiment hit a ten year low according to breitbart. We've got afghanistan crumbling. I'm telling you everything the left touches they destroy. Don't doubt me on that and we were watching it. Hopefully the american people will notice. Why places like this like talk radio need to be shouting this message loudly and proudly and you guys need to be taken to the streets..

"People may be walking around infected with the delta variant. Not know it not go get tested so you said this shouldn't be a political decision and of course it should be a decision made in the interest of public health but there are politics at play. That's the reality of it. So president biden himself had stopped wearing a mask. Do you imagine that he will start wearing a mask again soon. So good question when the we've put to the white house as of wednesday afternoon. We didn't have an answer from the idea. That biden would put a mask back on. It goes against everything that this white house has been trying to signal that we are at a better point in this fight. On the pandemic there was criticism. In fact that president biden other officials were wearing masks too much that they were not sending the right message to americans about the post vaccine world that they could enter. I don't think it's likely that president biden. We'll go back to wearing the mask as consistently as he did in the earlier days of the pandemic it is quite possible that he and other senior officials if cases spike in the greater washington. Dc area or he's heading to a place where cases on the rise. We may well see him wearing a mask indoors again. Because that's in line. With what health officials are recommending now. The biden administration had said that he had hoped to reach certain percentage of vaccinated adults by july fourth seventy percent. He is not hit that goal yet. So what do you think. Contributed to the miscalculation by the biden administration about when we would hit certain vaccination levels and are they calling it a miscalculation when president biden. I set that goal for july fourth. It seemed really achievable. It was a goal that the us seemed to be on track for there..

"Favor. Fifty five opposed six abstentions. So for people. Who didn't grow up in the catholic. Faith when is communion communion is considered the central kind of right and ritual of catholics. That keeps them literally. Little see like in communion with each other and with god and that's when people have been to a catholic service when you see them go up to the priest and the priest can give them like a wafer and drink that represents the body and blood of jesus so it means it's this kind of mysterious ritual where god is supposed to be in you at that moment and under catholic teaching. You're supposed to be in a certain state when you when you do this. And over the centuries catholic teaching has changed about. Exactly how communion works like when it first started in the early centuries. A lot of people didn't take communion because you know there was such a kind of emphasis on the rigidity of being in the right state and then it became more popular and then they had different rules about how often each year supposed to confess and take communion whether you're supposed to be fasting for many hours before hand or just one so there's been there's been fluxes in sort of its popularity but i mean it's become much more common and regular part of people's worship in recent years and then why is this such an important part of the experience of being catholic in catholicism which is the biggest faith group in the united states. There's a lot of what you'd call kind of powerful ritual you know when you think of catholic churches here like this ornate and there's pictures and sculptures of jesus on the cross and and the smell of the incense and you know it's a very intense kind of body leave people say often it's like a very bodily kind of faith so you have this image of some of ingesting god and being one with god so i mean. It's it's usually capitalized community. But it's also little see like that. You are saying you know that you are part of this community part of part of the catholic faith when you when you take communion and some people i mean especially right now having been you know so many people being away from that service for for the past year for many people whether they go each week or they go a couple times a year. It's very like intimate part of their their life. They're an technically. You know. I mean if you're you're supposed to say confession regularly you're going through these rituals that you embrace and believe that. Means so much to you and communion is sort of the culminating one in the trash can just like stop someone from doing this in. It feels like you know stopping some worn from parang rate. Yeah well it's i mean. Most people would tell you like this doesn't happen. I mean that shirt dino. Catholics don't get grilled like when they show it when they appear for communion. What technically it's supposed to meet. The onus is on the worshiper rate. Because you're it's supposed to be that you present yourself when you know you're in the right state of mind and catholicism talks a lot about the primacy of conscience saw these things are kind of weighing in the picture But the difference with something like this is. That biden is a public official. I mean for people. Who are you know a little bit older. They can certainly remember. The church would not give community people who were a divorced and remarried outside of the church. Where people who were living together. Who weren't married. It's something that i think was at one time. Like more community enforced where know the church was was more rigid and people sort of police each other more and it just wasn't done you know if you're in a situation where you're living with somebody or you had a child and you weren't married or whatever that whatever the situations were and you hadn't gone through the process of confessing and getting permission. You just didn't go now. Obviously the country is you know has matured diverse views and catholics. American catholics have very similar views as the american public. In general when you pull them on all these things whether that's support for abortion rights which a majority of catholics hold to lgbtq rights and stuff like that never mind getting into sexual issues you know whether that's capital punishment or helping the poor and that kind of thing. So i mean you don't have people being turned away except you have had especially since the nineteen eighties with some people call. It's drizzly like a wafer watch where politicians catholic politicians who supported abortion. Rights have been have been watched. And so you had mario cuomo and dick durbin and annoy and john kerry had many bishops in two thousand four when he was running threatening to not give him communion. Actually joe biden was denied communion. Last fall in the southeast. When he was. I think he was just on the campaign trail How did president putin respond to oldness. President biden has barely spoken the word abortion since he's been president. I mean he's really. We've reached out to him for comment. You know last week. And over weeks of preparing for this and they. There's never been any comment from his administration. He was asked on friday about it. The catholic bishops are moving on this resolution that would prove prevent you and others who've supported abortion from receiving communion. Are you concerned about the rift in the catholic church. I feel personally about that. That's a private matter. I don't think that's happen. I'm assuming he meant. I don't think me others will be turned away from communion but we have a abortion rights case coming before the supreme court soon so it really puts his presidency in a conflict with part of his church and he talks about his faith but not not much. I mean he talks more about it in a personal way. He doesn't kind of in allies teachings in a lot of detail. He talks about it. Were in a personal way and the comfort and role that it plays in his life immediate. This feels like it could be perceived as a double standard because you know a bill barr attorney general under. The trump administration is catholic. And the he revved up the federal death penalty in was he censured for it. Well see this is right okay. So whether when you look at other things whether it's you know some catholics have raised. You know fell barring the death penalty or catholic lawmakers and the treatment of immigrants The you know muslim travel ban. I mean many things you know. Racism is against catholic teaching as well. You know cats. Teaching is heavily focused on welcoming immigrants and refugees. So then you kind of get into this. You know what you. Sometimes you'll hear people say while there's things that are you know basically Policies that are sort of subject to difference of opinion. Like you could say you know. Everybody wants to help the poor and help immigrants but they have different ideas about how they should do that. So the death penalty is sort of in. This category has been i mean. Recently per pope francis said you know the catholic church is officially against the death penalty. It had always been almost almost almost that but it didn't push all the way over because there was a sense that basically under criminal justice sometimes this is justice that you have justice up against life. This is not an innocent life. The way a fetuses so people who support you know what happened with bill barr would say technically. It's different so then you kind of get into this will technically is really abortion. The only thing if you're saying you're supportive of life. Okay so there is a difference between you know a fetus a crazed killer or something like that but the bottom line is. What's the goal of catholic teaching. You know what is it that if you're going to kind of negotiate to the you know splitting hairs. What's the crux of it. President biden is only the second catholic to serve as president of the united states. What do you feel like. His presidency tells us about the state of the catholic church right now. Only one half of the catholic vote compared to john f. kennedy who won. I think somewhere between seventy and eighty percent of the catholic vote. So you know. Basically catholics are divided. Shines a light up to sort of okay. Who's the catholic role model for catholics. Fight over authority. Who becomes the bishop communion becomes this kind of seal of approval. And so it's just very. It's very.
