"I'm Dr Christian Conti. I've had an opportunity to host a couple reality TV shows over the past few years, and one of the things that most impresses me about Hollywood is the work ethic of production companies on a Hollywood set. If something goes wrong, people don't spend a whole lot of time talking about how it Shouldn't have gone wrong. Instead because of time constraints on filming, they just start plugging away at a solution. It's awesome to watch a bunch of people working in unison to solve a problem. What a great model for the rest of us when things go wrong in your organization or your family or social group instead of spending a whole lot of time talking about why things went wrong, Try focusing solely on a solution. After all, we cannot change the past. But the future is ours to create. For motivation for your work ethic. Visit Dr Christian Conte dot com. All right. 48 at the hour on the D. J B program, George Segal's final episode of the Goldbergs airs tonight. If you have Some tissues to anybody that probably be good. That's going to be a tear jerker. Oh, yeah s so it's on. Let's see ABC tonight. Um, he died What? Two weeks ago? How long ago was he passed away? About a week and a half. Two hours. Yeah. Um, he was the father, Beverly Goldberg on the show. Um, he was, you know, this age old timer gave advice partner in crime to his grandchildren. It's kind of like what I do with miles. I started a real I started or a lot of trouble last night with my house. Uh, yeah. What? Ugo Hey, was eating an Easter egg? Um, that left over from the Easter basket. And I said, do you not understand? Because you get fascinated with dinosaurs. I said, Do you know that industry that a good you're eating in a dinosaur egg? And then you get very curious because he was no all about dinosaurs. And so I said, If you look inside the dinosaur era, you'd find a chocolate egg. Just like the one you're eating, and he looked at his mother. He has this. He rolls his eyes back when he knows I'm yanking his chain. On. So that was the it.

"Mircea even fluffier. Mercie goes right from like rally vomiting and goes right up to Brad. And just plants a big Smacker on them. She goes I have a gift for you and gives him a Dorito and then kisses him and I was like. Truly is the most disgusting thing I can imagine is someone who is just blown chunks with the unbrushed. Yeah Dorito breath feeding me a Dorito and then giving me a tongue kiss and Brett loves a he loves it. He likes like a hint of bomb in his make out like something else there that I knew tasted kind of familiar. I was like, Like he's not even mad at it or or even disgusted like he's like goddamn it was kind of turned on then Brett just randomly chooses Beverly Goldberg and my techs are into another room and Beverly's like yeah. I'm a poison head. I was at the concert with my old boy my old husband former husband were not married anymore and they you know, they they start like flirting and hitting it off and she's like, you know, you were always on my husband's like I get a hall-pass list was like I would get to fuck you. If I ever met you down like goddamn it turns me on this most romantic thing anyone's ever said to me and then she goes, well you in Edward Norton after American History X off I was like wait like Beverly. Yeah, I was like Bev are you Beverly's like is Beverly like a white supremacist? I don't know. I mean, like look, let's be honest Edward Norton is hot. Oh, he's definitely hot. But like I think he was hot like in that movie, but that's you don't then admit that like off the version of him and American History X is also on your like free breathless. Yeah. I was concerned. This is wild times and then Brett clearly hates that young man was on the free pass list so you can see him like instantly recoil. Yeah, and then she goes well, but then he was only on for a little bit and then it was you and then Brett goes take that at Norton and you know that he actually means it. Well he's also like as we've discussed in previous episodes The Wheels start turning and he's like somehow this makes me gay. Yeah, like just hearing like, you know what I mean like wage He he'll he'll find some convoluted way to be like this is going to make me look at this is gay to me also if you're on someone's home, that'd be like someone saying to you carry being like, you know, you're on my free pass list and so was Hitler like if you're if you're also on the fact I know as like a white supremacist, even if they're acting like one, you should maybe question like what you're bringing to the table. Yeah, I would be like, what does it say about me and my correct her and like my choices leading up to this point? Yeah, but Brett is like just as long as I'm not gay and I think this is gay. Yeah Brittany corn bread in the hallway while he's talking to some women and she like just starts like kind of Demanding attention. She monologues him. She looks him and he's like very much.

"Okay. Last time I had run, I was teasing her about her new song about boxed wine. Haley or Auntie is here to talk about the eighth season of the Goldberg She plays Erica on that sitcom. Have you had any good boxed wine lately? Haley You know, it's actually been a while. I've been drinking. Yeah, I have to. Because that I don't drink as much truth. Exactly. True confessions. You tell us about the eighth season of the Goldbergs. The kids are about to leave or they have left the nest. Have a thing. Well, so two of us have some degree. I mean, we can't really go too far away from Beverly Goldberg. But, um, two of US air in college, and my character is now living in her own apartment. And one is still in high school. It's actually Adam senior Year, but season eight. Is that a really big one? I feel like for Erica, especially, um, and she Even though she's been living on her own. She also finally declared a major, and she's gonna be doing pre law, which is awesome, because, of course we've seen over the last eight years. I've really mentioning how she could have been a lawyer, so I'm kind of in what her mom's, but that would have been, um it's been really cool and Can't give anything away. But the end of this season is going to be really big for Erica. I have a hunch that Erica got into law big grudgingly because her mother encouraged it so much. Well, you know, it's actually interesting how she came to terms with, like, Oh, you know what? I definitely could be a lawyer. She was trying to declare a major and Brother Barry, who's always decided that he's going to be a doctor. She tried to, like, piggyback off of his idea, his degree and when she realized that didn't work and almost got him kicked out of school, she defended him, which kind of showcase the audience like. Oh, she's really great it defending people and situations and think she cares about so. She's now in pre long well and among the rest of the family. Eric is the one with the ground wire still semi attached. Yes, I feel like an old man and a lot of situations and the family kind of spirals out around. I feel like she's kind of the one that they check in with, but don't get me wrong. Erica has her moments where she kind of loses it and has to be directed and guided through whatever she's going through. She has her own knew. Rosie's just like the rest of the family, which I know is is based on the one of the writers Adam Goldberg he he's basically he basically videotaped his whole life and is now taking cues from those videotapes. Exactly. Yeah, it's really good to me that the most exciting part of the episodes is at the end. You get to see that home video of him as a child, and often times these video clips. Connect to the storyline that you just watched in the show, and it just makes it all that more real. And I think that's why people really resonate with it. We're talking about the eighth season of the Goldbergs and Haley Arancha, who plays Erica. But you are the most different than the reality. That is Adam Goldberg's life. He had a brother. He did not have a sister, a brother named Eric. And so you're you are Erica. Um, Have you met Erik? And is Erica anything like the real Eric? E have met Eric and his lovely family, and they're always a pleasure to get to talk to their Super nice. Um, And thankfully, Eric was happy to have Adam kind of switch it up in and out of sister in the mix. Um, And I think for a long time, Eric was okay with that, because anything that was embarrassing about his life story to just hide behind like, Oh, no, that's Erica. Not Eric. But, um At the same time, Eric There's a lot of things that Erica that are not, um, pertaining to Eric flights, for example, the music aspect that was something that was from my own life that I mentioned to Adama Goldberg that he Very kindly added into the character unexpectedly. Um, so that's a big part of Erica that I feel like Eric did not grow up playing instruments did did Eric become a lawyer? No, he's actually doctor. Okay, just like his just like his real dad. Yeah. Yeah, because the real dad of the Goldberg actually was a doctor. But that Z getting a little deep into the weeds. And I know that fans of the show will know that with Mia's Haley or Auntie, who plays Erica. I also no fans of the show love watching all of the Easter eggs that are hidden in the sets when you all are shooting. Are you aware of those Easter eggs? Or do they pop up as a surprise to you? Just like everybody else. Um, if your or your friends like 19 eighties related thing, or like all of the pictures in the band, and nobody has any pictures on their wall, but evidently, Adam's family did. Oh, yeah. I mean, we've got in. It's interesting. I've never I need to be more in on the Twitter verse of anybody's correct. I've missed out on this. Um, No, we have tons of Photos throughout the house that air mixed in with all of the cast as we've been growing up, as well as some of Adam's real family. It's kind of a mix of everything. So that's interesting there. I wonder if people have picked up on where the photos of Adam Goldberg are versus the cast, but, um First eighties Easter eggs go There's They're everywhere You can get avoid that, but no, you can't avoid it. It all Haley rant is also with us. A Haley, You have a musical career you've been working on. How's that going? How's the sales of your record? I mean, well, that second question I can't really answer. Okay, A Zafar is like, you know, I feel like it's been difficult. Being an independent artist for this one years despite having such a great platform and show behind me in the music industry is just 12 times harder. I feel like in a lot of ways and in the film industry. Um but I still love making music no matter what, and for me, it More about being able to just share my experiences and write about kind of the perspective I have on things and hoping that those songs resonate with other people. And it's been such a thrill in the past when I have been able to go on to her to talk with different people from all walks of life who have their own Kind of take on some of these songs and their own perspective. And I love hearing that How it kind of resonates attempt you work with George Segal. He plays pops on the Goldberg on the Goldbergs with Haley. Oh, Rancho Who plays Erica, and you know he is first of all fantastic..

I want him hundred seven. Eight two seven nine eight seven i got. I got an email here that i want to share with you. And i think it's going to relate a lot of people are going to be able to relate to it. Okay where are you have somebody who's butting into your relationship but this just sounds man like a total nightmare. We'll do that right after the break here on the woody. Show hang tight. We'll just found a really gross video on the internet to check it out more. Woody show next really shout art. Here is the email i was talking about. This is from Alice it says hoy show needs some advice. But i hear some background info. I'm twenty four. I've been with my boyfriend for eight years years ago. We decided to move in together at his parents house so we can get rid of our debt and save some money. We are finally debt free and currently apartment hunting. It just so happens that his family has decided that they want to look for their forever home. Which i thought was perfect. Timing considering that we were planning on moving out soon anyway right awesome so his parents start looking at home. We went to a couple of open houses with them and they begin to ask us what we were looking for in the future home. I was confused because we never said we were planning on moving in with them. They just kept trying to convince us. Now this is where. I need advice. His family wants us to move in with them but they also want my sister-in-law her husband and her kids to move in in total. That's eleven people including me sway their mansion. Can you imagine eleven people in one home l. How no. My boyfriend. And i decided a long time ago that we didn't want kids. I also don't like being around kids so the idea of living with kids that aren't mine. Full-time is a deal breaker for me. I have been looking forward to having our own apartment for what feels like forever but now my mother-in-law which i think it's funny like this. My boyfriend true calling her. The mother-in-law my mother-in-law has this one big happy family under one roof situation. Going and i'm not for it. She tells me that. I'm trying to pressure her son into moving out and start a family when that's not the case at all. She said she just wants to She just wants us to live with her because she can't imagine living away from her son. Oh i don't know what to do. How do we make understand that. No is our final answer or my being a bitch year to not seeing it from her perspective. I'd really appreciate some insight. I get that. She's trying to help us. Not spend so much money on rent but at the expense of living with ten other people and some screaming children pass pass by that is from ellis nuclear me start with this. She's not trying to help you not spend so much money. She has separation anxiety with her son which there are a lot she was like a beverly goldberg. If you watch the cadillac. Oh yeah like a like a a smother. Yeah you know where she doesn't want the kids living away from her at all. Nope can't it down the street. Forget it she wants him in the house and so that's her mental hangup. That's something that she needs to figure out. And i think you are in no way shape or form obligated to follow her desires when it comes to where you and your boyfriend are gonna live now. The boyfriend that's his mom and so he's going to have to deal with that but this is not your situation a deal. The boyfriend sounds is the one who needs to make. He's got step up. Yeah she didn't really elaborate on that. She says. Xactly our our decision to leave. But i don't know it doesn't seem like he's sleeping that much of a momma's boy they say. I don't think he wants his day. Guess is that he doesn't wanna stay decision. Made you know that he doesn't want to stay but at the same time like he's a puss when it comes to his mom which There's there's a difference between respecting your parents respecting your mom loving emma and then just letting them control your whole life and so it may come down to alice that you need to put it out there that it's either going to be what is mom wants or you tone. You guys have been together. It sounds like you had this Plan you're on the same page with things. But if he can't stand up to the mom now that's gonna be a nine. I would i would. Meniskus cues this generate this. I would say it's also a health hazard that countries and neighborhoods with a lot of people living under the same roof. use kovin. yeah they have way yes. It's true fact. They've way higher rates transmission of diseases in these trying times people under the same roof says lawmakers were definitely a mexican mom could be. Randy's mom in the future yeah. Do you think readies mom are ever going to let them move out. I don't know. I don't know i don't know i don't even see randy moving out zone. Yeah what does he need our. Yeah yeah randy. He's the man of the house my future brother brother-in-law. I don't see him moving out in though he has a job. And how old is he. He's twenty six now. Wow geez ready. Think your mom's ever gonna let you move out. Yeah for me it's i. I'm going to try something new i mean. Do you in the girlfriend talk about getting a place together. I think you guys have been together. How long are going on three years. Three years talked about moving in together. We talk about are waiting for her to finish up her degree. And you make some decent money. So i can just kind of leech on talking about but also i. I definitely agree as far as culturally this this could very easily. Just be something. That's insisted on upon being a part of my girlfriend has already said her goal. When we first started dating was to get a house big enough to house. Her parents see that on those. Hdtv shows all the time. Where like they're all while. I need room for my mother-in-law. Thanks i love my mother-in-law at all. It's just like okay if it's a temporary thing there's something going on fine. I'm planning on that for my parents. Were at least one of them when one of them goes whichever one goes i the other one i plan on having them live with me. I'll be in my sixties by that you don't and you don't know that they might really say regular people to this is so odd gregory. You wanna tell yourself up. I'm living my true self. It's a male thing to think with the sons Keeping them at the house as long as attachment and by the way. Yeah a house. Are you looking for his eleven people right house that many people throwing in on it also. Yeah it's a big financial thing that you know people have cheap living and then you that's why sometimes you dry house and there's like a ton of nice cars because they're all paying a couple of hundred bucks the neighborhood like that yeah. The past wiser a bmw in the driveway. W could afford your own apartment. I will thank you for the email if you got a question that you like to have brought up for a future. "Maybe the hardest thing that i had to do was There was one episode of the goldbergs. It was called. It was a parody on revenge of the nerds but it was called revenge of the perms and i can't remember why i think it was because let's revenge if the nuts by the way oh revenge. Oh okay yeah. I i actually. I'm going to have to explain that. Because it's an american movie that's about these nerds like this group of nerds in high school. It's an eighties movie. And they basically take revenge on all the fraternity. Oh no they're in college They take revenge on all these fraternities in jocks and like all these like popular sassy girl that humiliate them and everything they they get together and they're so smart and technologically wise. They can build these contraptions they take revenge on all these people prank them not like serious revenge. I don't know i got. and then. And then they like they become the popular ones like they become like the chains of the college so it was a parody on that. I think it was called. Revenge the perms because there's always two stories in the goldbergs. So i was a part of like that revenge of the nerds story where Adamant i and then there's like dave kim and shinichi via like were the nerves and we were taking revenge on the bullies And i think like the other side of story was like beverly goldberg was like got like these terms in her hair but they look dreadful so kinda mix us stick together but i think the hardest part of that was that was when i was. I think i was around like seventeen. So that's when i that's when the work hours from me were i increasing so before they were just kinda like limited to like nine or ten hours but then at that age it was like all day so that was one of the first days where i really got to experience. Just like working from like six. Am to midnight and now yeah it was insane. But i think what kept me going was the adrenaline of the final scene. We did was it was like the nerds one. We did it and everyone loves us. So we go on the stage at like a party at the college and we performed come sail away by sticks and eighty song and And chad me. I was like in like this. Elvis presley sued. And i was like the guitar and i was like kicking and jumping and soon splits and everything but this was in may so that was so. I didn't realize that. I was like just totally exhausted and drained until we were done. And i don't wanna like make it come across that. That's what i do all the time from like mornings midnight but that was like one of that was definitely one of the hardest thing but it was totally worth. It was so much fun and so at that point. You'd still be to you'd at the age of seventeen you'd still be in school right seeds. They'll be like long shoots into the night and studying on top of that. I had to take hours the next day. Oh my god like good for you. That's amazing thank you go. You're so hard working and just really young very passionate. I love that so nice and my favorite quote in la la land. I bring this up all the time. They will love what other people are passionate about. That's what it's all about. Very then. Jacob final question are you watching and enjoying anything on television at the moment..

"Listeners. You nearly broke our voicemail line this week. You called us so much and we have a backlog. We're GONNA WE'RE GONNA work through the backlog over the coming weeks but some really really terrific stuff this week are Matt called in to talk a little bit about the Denny Shapiro interview where she he discovered some weird stuff when she took. DNA Test High Unorthodox this is not in Seattle. I just listened to Stephanie's interview with any Shapiro many of us I think for whom the process kind of winton reverse that we discover hidden Jewish heritage through tests I can only imagine this has happened in many other people. It happened to me I received in quite a few years ago now really unexpected. DNA result which rag me too many other investigations and down many other absolutes which eventually resulted in my converted and so it's a strange thing going on with this stuff. Thank you for that conversation and just really appreciate appreciate the work you've done and are doing matt. Welcome home good to have you as the fellow Jew that you sort of always were and now for another crazy easy. DNA tests story. We go back to the listener line high off the Dan Nice story really spoke to me and where my head is at today my DNA makeup up was as I expected when I had tested but it was actually the connecting paperwork from ancestry dot com that started sending me into shock through marriage announcements and the census I found out that my grandpa has not just been married once but twice before my grandma he actually had a son and daughter was one of his wives is and so now this little California girl has all these relatives in Highland Park New Jersey well. It's nice to have lots of cousins Christmas. Is it really interesting. This one comes from an old friend of the show. Someone who in fact was at the very first Israel meet up when I was there a couple of years ago and drinks but everyone else thanks there. Thank you Jennifer come on Leela. I think I picked up. She was colleague to respond to the letter we had on from from a listener last week. Who wanted to know if it was okay to talk about someone having a Jewish accent hey J. Crew Jen Michler here I am a native Montreal Jew but have lived in US for like the last twenty or more years but about Jewish accents there is actually a Montreal Jewish accent. This is not just a matter of opinion that actually something that has been studied by at least one linguists at McGill University and the Montreal Jewish accent has several features. It has a certain theme song lilting intonation. The third is that it did knitted but Cali the other things can note are. MVP Annunciation certain sounds so vowels especially. I I found in a word like comes out sounding a little more like a little New York and another one. I don't know if this is uh-huh Timoshenko Jews but I'm pretty sure it is you have to check in with mumps. You are gentiles but the word gas is actually pronounced dad's which sounds ridiculous to me now when I hear it but sort of come use of my life I would say that I was going to fill up the gas. The only one I think I have retained tain really of my for Metro. Jewish accent is be hard. G sounds like hanger and single. I actually don't know how I would say. I guess non metro people swallow their g a little bit more and this was brought tonight when I lived in Ann Arbor for a number of years and Kanani Jewish friends really enjoyed during say the name of Delhi which they saw that I thought I didn't really get why anyway there there you have it always good to get the Canadian version of things that always humanizes things and by the way when we are in Detroit we might make a side trip to in Arbor to Goethe's increments Zinger Zingermann women's ziggurats but the point is her G. is hard when you're heartedly and finally a slew of correspondents of voicemail and and print email about the question what are the great performances of Jews by Gentile actors this of course prompted by the death of of the terrific Valerie Harper who played Rhoda morgenstern I to the listener line hi this is an from the Philadelphia area and I love your show and then dedicated listener you ask her about non-jewish people saying Jewish roles and you did mentioned Wendy McClellan Covey who plays Beverly Goldberg on the goal for what a stunning job she does thanks for all you do for the Jewish and non-jewish anything anything. I've never watched the Goldbergs but but I kind of want to I just want to see I want to see the performance of a character named Beverly Goalpara but Wendi mcclendon covy is amazing she was in. Have you guys seen bridesmaids. It's basically it's a fun yeah. I've seen bridesmaids who is she and bridesmaids one of the bright lights and then there was a lot more on gentiles playing Jewish roles our listener Andrea obiorah's wrote into say. I have to say that it's Rod Steiger who played Red Saunders in the chosen. The movie based on the novel by Potok Interesting Mr Steiger was raised Lutheran but plays the character so well actually thought he was Jewish Andre there are few movies that have done a worst of juiston. The chosen robby Benson is such a Shonda but I have clearly blocked out this very fine performance by Rod Steiger because the other performances were so atrocious that that is a great novel made into a bad movie. Thank you ooh juice face off like funny like it's a parody of what the book was to me and here's our next letter from power Wasserman. It's all about the Godfather Hyman Roth fictionalized Meyer Lansky play by Irish Catholic Art Carney moe greene a fictionalized bugsy Siegel is played by Italian Alex Rocco are I hadn't thought of that but yeah the godfather some serious pan ethnic casting and we missed so many others according to our wonderful listeners who wrote in to remind us of Daniel Craig and both defiance and Munich in both of which he kills people on behalf of the Jewish people the Great Benton Fraser in school ties that is a great Jewish roll the Jewish. It's your boy the closeted Jew school ties go brand Fraser sorta played it well Joe Montana and being North in Liberty Heights n five of sprinkle luminous fact actually Irish Catholic so that was our listener Ben Ring who wrote into to tell us about Joe Mantegna in bb North but I had a little tickle in the back of my head that said I think is a juice and our friend Wikipedia as well as several more Jewish learned websites that have written about confirmed confirmed that in fact although she seems to have been raised with. She insists she had little Jewish education. Her education was all in classical ballet. She was in fact the product of Jewish heritage cubis ancestry human so bb North Future Jew of the week and two more or two more that will get this week our listener cynthia circle of sky wrote wrote into say over the weekend. I watched once upon a time in Hollywood trying to distract myself from the complete armageddon happening all around the world including on my own doorstep unsurprisingly that didn't work but I still managed to have some gory fun and as to Jews. I thought Pacino's Marvin Schwartz was quite satisfactory Yup. I agree me to Youtube Yep so we both saw the movie. Yes did you see it. Stephanie did not go see good quality Tarantino and our listener David Winer road in echoing what many people in a facebook group said which has come up John Shirt Shero in Barton Fink and others and others. John is one of those guys like Alan Alda who Honorary Ju. I don't you think yeah now he plays Jewish better than most of us really does of us. This is utterly seamless. There's no see with Pacino. There's still a moment I'm like this is a great Italian actor. A great Italian method actor putting his talents toward the the Jewish Plymouth even Italian. It's Pacino Playing Pacino right laying a Jew playing a guy named forts with church Shero. There's completes immersion in the pure pure as your HEBRAIC quality. In that in that show, but she was so, relaxed, of course, you know, TIMMY was one got excited. And so did Lassie. So I guess that was taken care of ours going over the top. But she was always, so cool. And there were a lot of moms early on. And, and you know, in June cleaver. Yeah. And I would say Marion Cunningham was my favorite you came. That's a little later on. She was at all. Yeah. But that wasn't in my wheelhouse at the time. And I've got one little thing it doesn't really matter about the mother. Yep. It's I don't go for dysfunctional families. So any dysfunctional family. I'm kinda turned off to all the characters so I'm more along the lines of a, you know, very, very not laidback family, but. What would you normal average American family, even though they probably were not normal. I think most American families were just functional. Eight one five says the mom from the Gilmore girls seven seven three Marge Simpson from the Simpsons. There you go..

"Is Jay bringing more scifi news for you. So again with being a low close to Halloween decide to bring another Halloween episode of show that I like to this to this podcast to this episode and this is show that I don't know if you could Nestle say it Sifi, but I think it's fair because there's a lot of Saif elements in there. Right. So in another show that all the enough, I resisted, it first, and this is the Sean little behind them this show. I resisted I it's the goldbergs I actually got to meet Adam Goldberg interview, him Wendi mcclendon, Kevin Smith directed a few episodes of this, and it's a show that basically takes place in the nineteen eighties. So there's of course, huge amount of nineteen minutes diligent this show. There really is. They hadn't said we're weird came in all, you know, eighties weird out, which was really, really cool. They've had some really cool eighties guest stars thrown in there. They really have ended basically, I think it has to. It follows or it's loosely based on Adam Goldberg's life when he was a kid. He did a lot of home movies and recordings of his family. And so it's kind of based on the show itself. Now mind, you he doesn't have a sister Erica. He has a brother. Eric, he told me that when he when I met him a few years ago at wonder con and this is a show that yeah I didn't wanna watch it. I, I tried to resist it. I again, how they sister to this show's, really awesome. It's really great you'd love it. You have to check it out for whatever. Weird reason again. Like I resist resist Tigers refused watch this show, and I finally sat in Washington, like why did I resist to watch this show? This is a really cool show. This is a really awesome show. And so something this show is done for. I want to say at least a few seasons now is they like to do like, you know, either like, they'd like to hell we episodes. They really enjoy doing and they've done before some like shows based on movies of the time they did wine on the crazy kid. They did one on Batman. They've done a number of them over the years. This show, I think is on its fifth or sixth season. Right at blue times, fifth season and this show got an order for at least one more season after this. When so it's another really popular show to show an ABC, and I'm so I decided to talk about an episode that I think it was really cool in concept and it brings Robert England to the mix, and this show is called episode is called Mr. knife, Yan's. So it's a Halloween episode at this point, you know, erica's off in college. I think she might have dropped at this point is I'm a little behind. I think that came up on there and you know Adam is older. He's a junior senior at this point. I want to say he's a yeah, he's around there junior senior, and we at at least on this episode don't remember in the past, if we got to see Jackie's family, which Jackie as the girl that he is. It's girlfriend now. She's very sick. To him in, you know, nerdy interests and things like that last season. She was portrayed by Rohan Blanchard. And for some reason, I noticed watching this again a little behind. She's not Jack anymore. It's someone else which I thought was a little weird little strange, but moving on. And so what this episode has to do with is, you know, like course, Beverly Goldberg still thinks Adam is her, you know, little, little baby, you know, even though he's almost a man at this point. Right. And they go to like it's not I don't think it was blockbuster, but something blockbuster like to rent movies, and Jackie's with them. And she says, you know, let's just like we'll just rent, you know, my parents have is rent nightmare on elm street, which he's never seen before. And, you know, his mom, of course, like no, it's too scary nightmares. You know, and she goes now you'll be fine. We'll watch it and Adam Globes like you know what? You're right. I will be fine. I'm gonna be okay, I'll watch this and I have no problems. And of course, surpr-. Price surprise eight freaks them out. He's scared by it. And he does have a few nightmares as the absurd progresses. You know, he gets so freaked out. He actually like, just starts drinking jolt. I think it's jolt cola or volt cola. He he drinks that and he doesn't sleep for days and days, because he knows you're gonna have FREDDY Kruger nightmares. And what this up Assode brings in is that, you know, Beverly is really mad that, like Jackie's parents let you know, Adam watch this movie. How dare they? And that's not bad enough though. It goes deeper to where Jackie's dad at U shows him fan Goria, and he gets to see, you know, like how the movie was made, and that, hey, Freddie, is really just an actor, and it actually kinda helps him get over, you know, his fear and stop having dream stuff of nightmares. Right. And this is what really peeves Beverly, how dare you, you know, make my kid better that's impossible. I'm his mom, only I can make them better so anti causes a little feud. Between Adams, parents and Jackie's parents so chunk of the episode that is going on where, you know, because like because his, his dad doesn't like that Jackie's dad, he thinks they're just kinda hippies and he doesn't like that. He and at the same time, you know, the Jackie's parents don't like you know how they are there to, you know, constricting there to like a strict and, you know, and they wanna to do things a certain way where, you know, Jackie's parents, more relaxed a little bit more chilled out about things. So there's some good moments, you know, of trying to get the two of them apart from each other, and trying to work things out there trying to, you know, rip adamant Jackie apart. And of course, that's not gonna happen. But they think it's going to happen. There's at you really cool scene in this episode, I relate, where Beverly tries to watch the movie, and she actually like, you know, kind of has night about Freddie, but it doesn't go away, Freddie plans, you know, like, and it was really kind of cool to see, like Robert England. Nd in the Freddie, you know, cost him again and in the mask, and there's moments where he goes this kind of not what I'm used to. They need to leave. This is not for me. So it's kind of funny to see, like, you know, him kind of get flipped for liveries like, well, what's going on here? But, you know why, why are you not scared of me? Why are you not all freaked out? What what's happening? I don't understand. And at the same, there's also another story on this episode where, you know, Jeff, which is Erica 's boyfriend really wants to do like some coming couples costume, and she doesn't want to do that anymore because she just doesn't think it's necessary and he wants to be, you know, oats and she wants to be, he's gonna have her be halls, but it's like a box of halls. And he's like Quaker Oats. And so there's that going on. And then there's a moment where she comes to, you know, high school and realizes hanging. She's big person campus. People think she's okwu because, hey, you went to high school in the CMO grown up. And this is really awesome. There's that so plot going on at the same time and at the and as they abso- is progressing, you know, she finds out Hainault it may be like, you know. Things are going on here, then okay with my life, and her in Jeff kinda get stronger. They almost break up, but they work things out. And yeah, it's it was a really cool episode. I think I need to catch up on this season. I'm not too far behind him a little behind from last season two. So I have a little bit catching up to do, but yeah, it was another really good Halloween episode was like I said it was really closely, Robert England comeback and do this role. Again, I think I had heard him say in an interview, or something that he would be okay doing other Freddie, Krueger should they do. Other one I don't know. I wouldn't say, yes, do another freak Krueger. Because honestly, I haven't really watched any of the only one I watched was Freddie versus Jason. That is the. Only thing with FREDDY Krueger I've really watched in, of course, besides this episode now. But yeah it's a good. I wing sewed good Halloween. Episodes of fun wine. There's some cool moments there it's got a really nice ending as most of these episodes still. And it's again it's a little weird that they recast Jackie I really like Roan Blanchard. But the person who was Jackie now I won't say she's bad, either. I won't it was I, I guess I didn't expect it. I was like why you know, watching, and I was like, oh, wow. That's, that's Jackie now that because I remember seeing pictures going, what happened to Jackie. Jackie in Adam break up like he did with Megan. Like man, I hope the heck not because I would kind of suck. But that's not what happened. So yeah, this is available now. Like I said, you can watch this on demand believe you can watch it on the, you know, ABC go, I think is a websites. You can watch these episodes on there. And I would personally highly recommend it, so, yeah, I thought it was another really good. Really funny Halloween episode yourselves. Another short little break. And we won't be back. Back with more scifi news in a moment. Tired of searching, the vast.

Kids aren't growing up shocking. New poll says parents are killing kids life skills, and it all started with the celebrities trying to buy their kids into college, Felicity Huffman, and Laurie Lachlan and. Let's see what's the husband's name again. William H Macy from Shane was basically. Most of. Bribing SAT proctors paying off college officials and lying about kids athletic credentials is legal. But it's also part of a pattern of today's parents taking control. So that children can succeed and avoid disappointment and failure. Now this poll was conducted by the New York Times and morning consult. And basically by the time kids are old enough for college way beyond the point. They should have graduated parents wealthy or not are still doing things children can do for themselves. There's screws up the children. This is what I was talking about. And I wanna know what are some of the things that you've done for your children or parents are doing for their children that we used to just do for ourselves. I one Bobby Michelin for union city, fire department homework. Tom get to school. We walked they get taken more than we ever did mess. The truth. Chris I can't repeat Peter Peters. Got another one here. Arranging play dates is that new social engineering horse bleep. We used to just go out and play. Now. My mom is the goal Janis. Mom to ask him body. Make something easy to eat laundry. Homework dishes feed the animals the list goes on and on. That's true to my kids. At least, you know, my kids are more independent, and they can cook. You know, they know how to microwave. I mean, seriously like, you know, we give our we make our kids do their own stuff. Like we own hover over the kids. You know, it's looking more like. More like did that show the goldbergs which has become used to be really really good? Now. It's kind of really really predictable. It opens up. It was nineteen eighty something. And then Beverly Goldberg the mom has some kind of crisis where she feels her kids don't love her. And then by the end of these half hour, they play an eighty song. And she realized that the kids do a lover. And then we see a clip of the real Goldberg's loving them up and or Adam Goldberg doing some stupid, and I was back there next show. He was real good show. See the kids are. Alright the kids are arise kids are. Alright is like watching where life was like growing up in union city in the eighties. Sarazen Ringo's you on a Monday night. What's going on a Monday? Oh. Wednesday. So sometimes you'll hear from me. And sometimes why? Okay. So what do you think? It's a little tough.

"Eight forty five time to award round to MIR Boehner's and around two of the Boehner voting is brought to you in part by some potato salad. Why are you saying like that? I don't know. Do I have to have a reason? No. And if you've been to mood, she's lately, they're cooking up something new for you. Besides their famous authentic Philly cheese steak tried the new Philly cheese steak eggrolls differently delicious. Why'd you say like that? I don't see. So we had Boehner candidate number one. I did slip on the ice. I did. Well, maybe but you through the ice there on the floor. There were surveillance cameras everyone you've got you've got to see this video. It's just hilarious is pretty so worst fake all ever casually throws the ice, then he walks over. And then essentially lays down, he just wait. You don't wanna hurt himself hurt himself? I mean, even if he he hadn't thrown the ice. They're even like say he'd sought seen some ice there. And he thought oh, here's my chance to fake fall. He couldn't even do that. Right. Then there was Boehner candidate number two. Well, we've got to give her some points for creativity. But nonetheless, she stole a pizza driver delivered driver's car. So that she could go to visit her boyfriend this fourteen year old girl and motor candidate number three. Yeah, that's a miracle. Right. Never any follow through he paid a prostitute four hundred dollars to come to his house. But then there was no follow-through activity. We had agreements to you didn't hold up your end of the bargain. So Julie one a Boehner a t-shirt where that would be in good health, Julie and the winner. Boehner candidate number two, really we have to give her some points for creative. Because there was a lot of discussion in the chat in the text about how they think that the delivery driver was the she was ingenious for coming up with this plan. He was just doing his job. He didn't know what he shouldn't leave his car running. That was what they were saying, hey, we don't decide the voters do and that is now the winner of round two goes up against the winner of round one one of those two will be Boehner of the day that will be decided at nine twenty by you with Boehner fight. And then Boehner the week happens after that. Now, the moth and the flame. We're going to be here live here at about ten minutes or so of them. Yes performance. But right now, we have another Sundance interview, this is a movie called imaginary order and the movie stars. She was not at the interview. Sorry, but it stars Wendi mcclendon Covey who you know, as Beverly Goldberg from the goldbergs Reno nine one was also on Reno nine one one very funny. But she does a little dramatic kind of a thing. Apparently. So here we go. Imaginary order imaginary order that's the name of the movie, it's a Sundance film in the US dramatic competition. And the director is with us. Debra is instead and an actress or actor, or if you prefer is with us, her name is Christine woods. It's well, I'll let I'll let Deborah tell us about the movie, what's the story. It's basically about a woman who abandoned her career for motherhood and she suffering the consequences now that her daughters thirteen and sort of pushing away. Her husband is a workaholic and has never around and she's feeling somewhat obsolete and while cat sitting for her widowed sister. She spies this family that at the neighboring family who seem way worse and more messed up than her own and one by one she gets kind of enmeshed with them. They suck her in and unravel her in a good way or a bad way. Well, she thinks I it's sort of an escape from her own problems. And she sort of is avoiding her own problems with her own family. But actually, it's not it's a trap, and it turns into it just spirals out of control. I bet they they inspire her intentionally. They see her as they they pay her immediately. The thing is they need her. They kind of they all kind of glommed onto her. She's very give you know. She's among so she of needs to be needed. And right now, no one's needing her at her house, and she's feeling somewhat useless. She wants to be of use. And she's finds herself needed by these people for various different reasons, and she ultimately tries to sort of sees at the son of a teenage son who's sorely sorely neglected and she takes a maternal role to him. But he mistakes that as something else and kind of falls in love with her. Now, you're describing what sounds like a sad movie. But I'm reading deliciously witty and disarmingly funny. Darkly funny. Funny. Yeah. As life is very much like life, Chris Christine, you I see you listening to the description and I see emotions playing. Says like this is a lot of fun. Tell me about your role in it. Yes. It was a lot of fun. I play Jemma gene who is the matriarch of the next door. Neighbor family train wreck of a woman. I I think that to kind of add to what Deborah said is that we see this this woman with clearly some need and a little some vulnerabilities, and it's kind of this interesting unintentional like families seduction of this woman, and she she fills a hole in in all of their lives. But what's funny is that they're never in cahoots with each other? I just think that they see her as this object to kind of take turns with a horrible way to put it. But you know, I it's it's in it's funny because it's really sad. These are people that have cats, but it sounds like they are also cats that take it's like how cats will take turns with a with a mouse or something they're just batting this woman around and well her name is cap. Yeah. Her name is Cathy, she calls her cat, and she's cat sitting for her sister's cat, they don't have. We don't have don't have. Cat sitting for. And that's like another storyline with her sister who she was a mess in comparison to the main character sort of OCD, and you see there to lives or completely opposite. And she comes in. When this sister goes on the retreat to take care of the cabinet ends up really being intrusively cleans up this entire woman's house in the process now, we're used to being the actress who plays cat is is a very funny mother that we identify with from the goldbergs right Wendi mcclendon Covey plays, Cathy. And she is so funny, but you've not seen her like this before it's a very dramatic turn for her. And she's completely different kind of mother very raw very vulnerable. It's the side that you don't get to see in narrative filmmaking a lot like some, you know, and I've seen her on Goldberg's in Reno nine one one. And I've always thought I'll bet she's an excellent dramatic actress as well. She is. She does she did some amazing. She doesn't amazing performance. The movie's called imaginary order, it's at Sundance dramatic competition. We're talking to Debra is instead and Christine woods. You have had a screening. How did it go? It went as good as I think it could possibly go. So well, because you know, I so I think it's funny. What I'm cutting it and writing it, and I wasn't sure it would translate and people started laughing from the. Yeah. Where where are you expected hope that they would? And I was hoping because it is a it's a dramatic comedy. Yeah. The comedy is so organic because nothing there's no jokes in this fell. Right. There's just things that catch you off guard in a very real way. And you laugh at that. Because you don't it's uncomfortable, and it's subtle. It's a very subtle humor. Endeavors it true that Christina stealing the movie true. True. She is. She is I mean, both Christine and Kathy. Wendy have gotten rave reviews. I mean like insanely good and all the other cast in it is really good too. I have to say at the unsolvable is amazing. I'm always curious when you when you show a movie to audiences for the first time other than just, you know, your friends and your husband and your belly and do things happen. I didn't I didn't expect them to laugh at that. Yeah. Yeah. Expect them to laugh at the very first scene. Yeah. I was amazed. Yeah. And they were laughing at things that were so subtle. And so I was so happy that they got that. This was accommodated good. Yeah. Gotta would build slower. I thought there'd be moments of laughter. But I didn't think they'd be laughing yet. They started laughing right away. And so did the second audience. Yeah. So it works. Excellent. So I I mean, hopefully that will continue we'll see tonight there's another screening in Salt Lake City, which will be telling because it's kind of a different demographic. Rose wagner. Yeah. Yeah. Will be it will be a different. So it'll be interesting to see how how that how it translates there. And as they say third time the term. It's called imaginary order, I hope it's a huge success for you and goes on from there to Seattle quick Christine. Thank you for entrapped. She's she's on the cartoon. Oh, you're so welcome. Thanks for being with you. Thank you. Gina..

"Berry. On the goldbergs Laney finds herself in nineteen ninety something facing ident- end musical, career and need of gainful employment. She's desperate for work and assisted by a desperate and assisted by a Goldberg's crossover. She gets a gig at the as a music teacher at William Penn academy. Working for principal glass cut co schmo, lure. And eventually, the character played by Brad, dear who's in the second half Assode, and she gets the job by Beverly Goldberg, just basically using her smother. Routine and convincing the principal to hire. I don't think that's how things worked in the nineteen nineties, and I don't think we can actually get a teaching degree or a teaching job without having a college degree. But we're just going to have to hand way of that. I guess, because it gives us a story with another character who's been kind of enjoyable to watch on the goldbergs. But the first episode was definitely very clunky as they dealt with all this back story and setting up the new characters. Lenny is a good character a funny character, but she's also really been defined by the characters on the goldbergs. So now it'll be very interesting to see how this goes in establishing her with the grownups on the show, which is a new experience for her. So a large part of the premier was just other characters remembering things about her character about how he she used to be in high school, which, obviously, doesn't have a lot of relevance now. And on the Goldberg she was kind of a mass as a student, so she definitely has some work to do to become a better teacher. The premier has a lot to show us about who the character of Laney is, and who she has been and so- introducing her to as a character who some people have known before, and some people have never met before. And then we have this main story in which he's preparing her class for a do op concert, which quickly becomes a grunge concert. And it works, somehow or other. And then a lot of it is also dedicated transitioning, the gym teacher slash coach from a comic foil into tight shorts to a more versatile character who is supporting his own show, co supporting his own show, and he's actually pretty good about it. The goldbergs did a good job humanizing him as a coach. And this also shows that he actually not actually terrible character or a terrible co he's actually pretty strong and helpful..

There's a show on TV. It's like into. It's like oh God. What is it like I wanna say like fifth or sixth season? Now, I'm I wanna say it might be a bit deeper than that. But it's a show that I originally like kinda resist. It was like, I don't know if I'm gonna watch it. I don't really know if I have the time to watch it. But I saw an episode, and I was instantly hooked, and that is the goldbergs, you know, it's a show that takes place in the eighties. I'm about she met Adam Goldberg, he's at your really cool guy, a really nice guy. And you know, he's done this show ABC like it's had a good run so far in it's not slowing down anytime soon to my knowledge, and it's just full of eighties stall Zsa growing up in eighties myself. I remember the lot of this stuff and can relate to ally this stuff and some of it. I can't. But a lot of it. I can there's never a really like a full like, hey, it's eighty one eighty two eighty three eighty something nineteen hundred something's what they say. And it's just a really popular really good show that I would highly recommend. I really really liked the show. And I definitely do wanna see keep going. I think it easily could keep going for number more seasons. And last season. They decide to do a episode that took place in the nineties, and they goes just called nyc nineteen ninety something that's what it was called where okay, there's no more Adam or Erica or berry. We see Beverly Goldberg in it for some reason, Tim meadows character who was a teacher or a guidance counselor is now the principal the school and his sister becomes his new secretary in his and her two kids or two daughters. You are going to the school now. So that's the premise of this episode. I remember watching this episode. And personally, not being that impressed. Not really like, you know, what this isn't that. Great. This is kinda weird. I it's just like a attempt to like to do a spin off. And I fear. You know, what this is gonna probably give my Dahan. What we do a spin off of this show and surprise surprise. They did in like, oh God, please don't do that. 'cause I don't know with my experiences. Spinoffs most spinoffs are bad idea. They're an unnecessary DEA. Nobody asked for and usually they don't last that long. They if they're lucky they get through a season if they're unlucky. They don't last more than a few episodes some shows that come to mind for me that eighty show to the spin of that semi show, literally just six episodes. That's only got once a time in wonderland. Spin off of once on a time knowing about show non show a hated. But again it got one season. That's it. That's all it got. No moss. Now, of course on the other side of the coin their shows like Mark and Mindy which be fair that was a spin of cheers got I think the re- seasons of Frazier, which got you good amount of seasons. And of course, the Connors is on TV right now, which I will see if it gets more seems not. But so there's there's always like, you know, those shows to that they're spinoffs, and they do really well and last a really long time, but most of my experience with spin offices. They don't last that. Well, they don't do that. Well, and they're usually not that necessary. So anyways this last week the first episode of this new show is called schooled, by the way. Aired and for starters. It's not how that was. It's actually Laney who was with berry for God up to this season. And it's kind of funny. The pilot spoil something for the people that we don't necessarily know yet on the show because I'm thinking on the goldbergs what I've heard is burying Eric are actually going to get married. They're Atra having a wedding and everything and on this very first the very first few minutes. She says, oh, yeah. Me and Barry were like this. Great couple. And we were this wonderful couple of we were like the couple, you know, that everyone looked up to and well, we didn't make it. We didn't work out. You're like, okay. We didn't know that the goldbergs yet. So spoiler alert. Okay. And what happened was basically happening on this show is so it is in the nineties. It's something sometime in the nineties. We don't know when ninety one ninety two ninety five ninety seven we don't know. And anyway, she tried to music career. It didn't really work out how she hopes she had she needed money. And she decides you know, what I'm gonna go back to my high school and be music teacher. She sees online which was ale. Well, which poor AOL, you know, like and applies for this job and originally the new principal doesn't want to give it to her. But when Beverly Goldberg for some reason comes in and tells you you're going give this job or I'm going, you know, be in here every single day bothering you. She gets the job, and I will say this focusing Laney is actually not a bad idea. She is a likable character. And I think, you know, this actually which is called be like Mike, by the way did price me in some ways. I I had really low. Petitions and low hopes for this show, and I can't say after watching this pot. Okay. I was entirely wrong. This show's gonna do great. I can't say that. But I can say that like into this. I where you see lane currently do the next step of her life, and, you know, getting a job, you know. She's like, hey, I need to be an adult now and kind of going to become financially stable, and like, you know, in pay off my dad's, and you know, my own place and all that stuff. So she's kinda going. Okay. I got I'll give this a shot. And it is clear. There's not as easy as one would have hoped. You know, there are some jokes. You know? Hey in doing and the, you know, teachers lounge teacher her now, you know, so coach Miller has some jokes there with that. And yeah, it's not actually a bad episode. I mean, it's really not. I mean, there's basically just two stories going on here. One is you know, Laney trying to be the music teacher and having a hard time with that. And the principles niece. You know, having a hard time with it. It. And then there's coach Meller who has a student playing basketball who's just showboating and being like his one man team because Michael Jordan can do it within suppose. Anyone can do it. Why it's called be like, Mike? But those two stories are achy pretty good stories. They're pretty strong stories. It's nice. They only did those two stories, and it kind of like, you know, like coach Meller learns teaches kid a lesson there. And as the episode progresses Laney county. You know starts a little bit of hang how this teaching things should go. So in a nutshell, I can't say this go this show is going to, you know, be a great show. But it gave me a little hope for the show at least because episode like nineteen ninety something. I'm sorry. It's probably one of the worst the Goldberg episodes of ever watched. It just was it was disappointing. It was not amazing. It was not exciting. It was just weird. It was random it made. No sense. They even did it. And you know, it just it was just was completely unnecessary. You know, and it was obvious that like, hey, we're going to. Try to see if we can get something going because they know that the goldbergs won't last forever. They just know that it's just the reality. So yeah, I can't say it's one of the best new shows of ever seen. But it was definitely better than I thought it was going to be. I was I was more impressed with that. I expected to be and I didn't really hate it. I really didn't. It was like, you know, what this overall his not a bad show. This is not a bad pilot. I wouldn't mind seeing a little bit more of this show. But, you know, even if the show is good it doesn't necessarily mean. It's going to survive. So I think this is a right now, I'm at time will tell but it's not a bad start for the show. It's a better start for this show that I thought it was going to be it's available on ABC. Now, you can watch on there. You know? And you know, it's it's not bad. I'm definitely, you know, a little impressed in, you know, curious of where it's going to go next. So yeah, that's all we have for this episode. My hope you had a lot of fun learning learning. Larry, some cool new things and hearing the things I brought to you. But don't you worry? "It's someone else which I thought was a little weird little strange, but moving on and. So what this episode acid do with is. You know, like a course Beverly Goldberg still thinks that Adam is her, you know, little little baby. You know, even though he's almost demand at this point. Right. And they go to like, it's not I don't think it was blockbuster. But something blockbuster like to rent movies and Jackie's with them. And she says, you know, let's just like we'll just rent. You know, my parents have is rent nightmare on elm street, which he's never seen before. And, you know, his mom, of course, like, no. It's too scary. Nightmares? You know, and she goes now, you'll be final watch it and Adam Globes. Like, you know, what you're right. I will be fine. I'm going to be okay. I'll watch this. I've no problems. And of course, surprise surprise, eight freaks them out. He's scared by it. And he does have a few nightmares as the progresses. You know? He gets so freaked out. He actually like just starts drinking jolt. I think it's jolt cola or volt cola. He he drinks that. And he doesn't sleep for days and days because he. Knows you're going to have free Krueger nightmares. And what this brings in is that, you know, Beverly is really mad that like Jackie's parents let, you know, Adam watch this movie. How dare they? And if that's not bad enough, though, it goes deeper to where Jackie's dad at she shows him fan Goria, and he gets to see you know, like how the movie was made. And that hey, Freddie is really just an actor. And it actually kinda helps him get over, you know, his fear and stop having dreams. Stop having nightmares. Right. And this is what really peeves Beverly like, how dare you? You know, make my kid better. That's impossible. I'm his mom only. I can make them better. So anti causes a little feud between Adams, parents and Jackie's parents so chunk of the episode that is going on where you know, because like because his his dad doesn't like that Jackie's dad like he thinks they're just kinda hippies and he doesn't like that. He. And at the same time, you know, the Jackie's parents don't like, you know, how they are there to, you know, constricting there to like a strict, and, you know, and they want to do things at certain way where you know, Jackie's. Parents little more relaxed a little bit more chilled out about things. So there's some good moments, you know, of trying to get the two of them apart from each other and trying to work things out there trying to, you know, rip adamant Jackie apart. And of course, that's not gonna happen. But they think it's going to happen. There's at you really cool scene in this episode. I relate to where Beverly tries to watch the movie, and she actually like, you know, kind of has a nightmare about, Freddie. But it doesn't go away. Freddie plans. You know, like, and it was really kind of cool to see like, you know, Robert England in the, Freddie, you know, cost him again and in the mask and there's moments where he goes. Ooh. This kind of not what I'm used to that. They need to leave. This is not for me. So it was kind of funny to see like, you know, him kind of get flipped for lead like well what's going on here? But I, you know, why why are you not scared to me? Why are you not all freaked out? What what's happening? I don't understand. And at the same. There's also another story on this episode where you know, Jeff, which is Erica 's boyfriend really wants to do like some comic couples costume in..
