In the middle of central texas town called weren't twelve acres and since then we have. We have moved into another small town called mullin texas where we have thirty two makers now and so we. We started with the twelfth fifteen guys. At our first event we now cap it at one hundred thirty men at each of our bits.

Your member with old lady said to her the old lady that fell at her demise that you have to make a good first impression. Well she and uh the stuff that she took from her house. She took this painting from her house. Took down the old painting of her and birdie crazy. She literally went over to the old lady's house looked at her picture. Looked at the painting and said That will look nice on my wall. I don't want them to see these old tacky picture of you and me. I wanna i want them to see something like a been somewhere. So she goes over to the old lady's house and she takes painting off her wall and takes that painting and says this would look better in my house. Come here birdie helped me help me. Take this pinning down. I want this up on my wall. Then she grabs employees so desperate. You better do this. I could never dream and imagine being part of the garden club. But now i have a chance. You better do this or else birdie does what any husband would do. Who's desperate he runs over. He takes a painting off the wall while the police are on the outside of the home in front of the own ladies home. Oh my god oh dear. What do we do. What do they do well. You have to wait a little bit and see what happens next. Because i'm going to tell you what they're gonna to. The police are outside the door. They've come knocking. It led them to the lady's house. Remember they're investigating the old lady so they're inside the lady's house and the police is at the front gate. What do you think happens. What do you think happens. What do you think happens. Well when you look at to wanna be crime. People crime whatever. They don't know what to do. Their new at this game will make well then again. Maybe not bertram isn't burcham isn't but Bertram isn't new added. But maybe i'll is so why police are outside wehr inside the house. What do we do. Oh my dear. Oh my god okay look bus. Get ourselves out of the front of the window. So they won't see us then. We'll try to ditch ourselves some kind of way we we have to make it. Look like we're not even in this house because you know what if they hear us. They'll think somebody's in here. Robbing the house so the police looking front window. You see anything. nope don't see anything. So they of literally scrunched up on the side of the house while alma hits the floor behind the sofa telling him you'd be a diversion for me. Well i go this way. You go that way. Because i'm gonna go out the back door the side door and pretend that i am coming from my house. Pretend that ooh the neighbor is still there so he does this aversion while she's crawling on the floor getting out of the house to go to her house and he's watching from behind getting this getting all jacked up because nothing's going to happen and the police are still looking in the window. They're still looking in the window. Then as she scurries over to her house she goes her own back door and comes out the front. Hey who hey who over here. L. officers offices. Hello hello hi yes you. Hello ma'am how are you. Are you looking for the lady next door. He used to live. Who lives air. Well yeah we are well. She's been gone for two days in her relatives are looking for her so then meanwhile in the house bertram stealing the painting off the wall so all of this is a diversion so i was playing enough. She talking to the police and you know talking about her vehicle. And the moment that bertram takes the painting he takes the painting he's goo goo coming out of the house but guess what happens as any crazy show. He stumbles and fumbles with the painting in his hand and falls with it in the paint in the yard and he falls down so then alma has its. She's fading. i'll help me. Oh somebody helped me so the offers are looking at her. Like okay. Are you okay. Ma'am you okay. Oh i'm just a. I'm just a little bit emotional. Well ma'am you seem pretty emotional here. Oh yes well i am. You know i'm going through the change. You know you know what the changes and then the police officer. Well we understand okay. We understand so back to the old lady story so they found some footprints two sets of footprints at the river so they think that the ladies still alive. So i'm gonna place it off and has to still pretend knowing that the lady is dead.

So when we begin episode five we Go back to the story of who was bertram and we find out that bertram as complex because if it's a guilt complex because of his mother so before she died she was ill and her illness was was was Arthritis she gave him this kind of story that this is where he got his killanin ways from okay. She gave him the store. That you'll be simply doing god's work and we all have a time on this earth and some some of us have a short time some of seven longtime but That's when he starts playing the music because bertram didn't just become a killer all of a sudden you thank his mother for that can thanks mother for that. She was the one that started him on his killing ways. She was the one that planted the seed of a guilty accomplice complex in his mind so she wanted to be free. She says. I want to be finally free from the suffering the suffering that. I'm feeling this pain. That i'm feeling i want to be done. I wanted to be over because nobody should suffer this way..

Okay so she takes the hatbox with all those mementos and throws it in the trash. While the nosy neighbor is listening beside the house. I will not longer spend any time in bed with a murderer. The nosy neighbors listening all this is going on in the rain. So guess what the neighbor does. She can't get enough. She decides to dig in the trash with a hatbox with the mementos and sees hat combs and combs tagged. Oh my god. These people are murderers. The murderers so she gets up the ladder in the middle of the night in the middle of the rain while bertram alma are having this fight about stopping the killing she decides to do some investigating on her own so she steps up the side of the house the bertram house and she slowly takes her old behind up the ladder while it's raining to find out more. See that's the true gossiper man. Okay a true. Gossiper is a person that's willing to go to any length of find out everybody's business in the neighborhood okay. She's willing to go up the ladder in the middle of the night in the rain. This ladies and old lady over seventy years old to find out the gossip about who these people are. Who are these neighbors. That's when you know that's when you know. Let me tell you something audience. I love you guys. that's when you know. That's a true and authentic gossiper. It doesn't get any better than that. Let me go on. so they're having. The fight is still having their fight and she goes up the ladder and the ladder and that she listened to them. Oh honey. I don't mean to kill these people. Yes no. you're not you're not an adultery. Just a killer. Take you have murdered people's dreams it is up. I wouldn't call that murder. I help people to die now. Your murderer you murderer. You're so cruel honey. I'm just trying to relieve them of their pain. I'm trying to help them then. Look away. walk away. Don't do anything walkaway. But the old lady on the ladder couldn't get enough. She says i will turn you in if you keep doing this. So take the pills. Take the blanket and sleep downstairs. Oh as she closes the window. She closed the window. The lit the old ladies hands were in that window. Get it the window drops the windowsill drops. The ladies. hands are in there. They get scrunched. She falls to death. Then guess what it's not over yet. The two killers realize the old lady is dead after listening to their gossip. Oh my god what are we gonna do so now. They both become chillers. So whether i'm wanted this or not she's now stocked with a killer and they have to cover up a killing. Oh my god. What are we going to do well. Let's call the police. Wait wait wait wait hold up. We need to call the police but alma. Wait a minute. This is almost saying this. If we call the police are going to wonder why she fell. Timid alma phil. Kat is covering it up. We're gonna have to explain what happened. Why did she go up the ladder. A seventy nine year old woman climbing a ladder for what there's going to be so many questions says alma. We can't all over town. You remember spot in the garden club. We don't need that kind of scrutiny. We don't need it. So guess what they decide to do. Bertram sky starts to scream and say alma alma. What are we going to do moody. Were we gonna do. oh honey. this is what we're gonna do as she looks outward towards her garden guess what she does. Simple minded frumpy housewife alma phil. Cocked is now liberty killer so she looks at into her garden. Said this is what we're gonna do. Bertram she's calling the shots now. Oh this is what we're gonna do gonna.

And she feigned sleeping pretends that she sleeping. so he's off to work so she gets up that morning i she decides to check around the house and look at the man that she married the man that she married several years ago as she remembered. Oh so well back in high school at the dance. How everybody looked at her funny. Nobody gave her a chance. Nobody give her look very unattractive and the guy that she thought would take a look at her was busy in love with somebody else and she had her heart and her eyes set on this really dreamy guy in high school but he was busy with somebody else so then that very night of the dance. The high school dance. She cried and cried and cried because she was rejected. But then guess who noticed her. Bertram phil cots noticed her. The quirky dorky looking bertram noticed her back in high school. She spent most of her life really trying to figure out where she belongs in where she fits in but the moment that somebody noticed her she was all for this. It didn't matter so he decided really to Not any noticed her but he says you know what he then invited her to dance with him. And then she says She dance with him. She's all dance with you. Said my name is alma by the way alma will cain and he said. I've seen you around in school. I was thought you were cute. That's what this would. That's a young bertram talking. And she says oh what's your name. Then he replies bertram fields he as mrs wilkins. Would you like to dance with me. And it has a. It is at that moment that she was so enamored with bertram. Phil got her later to be husband. Then she doesn't know what happened to her beloved husband. What happened to him. She suspected something was wrong but she didn't know quite what she decided to let everything about him. She went upstairs into the attic looking at the box. Completely unprepared for what she was about to see again and.

Mazey dancing her last dance dancing her last dance and she falls to the ground. She says my feel funny. Oh my gosh. I feel so funny. Oh my god and he says. Let me help you. I i'm spinning. She says i'm spinning. Something's happening to me and he says it's just a sedative. I gave you a sedative. Oh my gosh. I can barely talk. And he's in and he says well don't talk. Don't talk. i'll i take such good care of your pets. So i wanted to take such good care of you. I helped the pets. And i want to help you. So he comforts her why she looks up at him in terror. Who is this man..

She's dying and he's in the business of euthanasia killing people so he has plans so he doesn't mind taking a stroll with her. He doesn't he doesn't mind going the extra mile so she invites him up for nightcap. Oh you know what he's going to do he's going up for nightcap. he's gonna for nightcap and she's hoping more than a nightcap more than just a night gap but wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute. So he's looking around seeing if anybody seeing him in her neighborhood.

It's time it's time so he plays some music for the dare little dog and gives him some last minutes while he's aaron planet earth. His owners starts to cry. Maisy okay and she watches on her dot as her dog gets euthanized by bertram..

She's wearing a close it's gorgeous nineteen forty-nine retro suit two-piece suit with a kid pat so she's wearing clothes in bertram says oh my dear you look lovely in her clothes so now they must really play this off because the neighborhood is starting to get some guests so she's offer way they're off their way to pretend to be the old lady and then she looks in the marin. Says you know what. I don't know who you are which is certainly not frumpy so alma now. Is the lady in charge. Okay so they pretend to be. The old lady as alma gets in the car that the old lady owns bertram is trying to talk to the people in the neighborhood with a diversion. Oh by and his alma all the while in the car so the neighbors are thinking. It's still lady in the vehicle and they're waving am bertram says see later my dear. Then he literally walks by. The car puts the dog in the car. They all ladies dog then. He follows his wife behind telling you marriage and crime. What are you gonna do A crazy mix a crazy mix of two people who are now killers now if this isn't a true crime podcast the fictional kind. I don't know what is so at the casio home redes- checking in to see what catherine's doing with carlos.
