Biden Gives Green Light to $8 Billion Alaska Drilling Project
"This week, the Biden administration officially approved one of the largest ever drilling projects on federal land. They want to go up to Alaska and get 600 million barrels worth of crude. This would be an Alaska's north slope. I guess this means he didn't really mean what he said back when he said no new drilling projects. I remember that. Do you remember that? In fact, he was on stage with Bernie Sanders and they were debating and I quote, he said, no drilling on federal lands. Number one, no more subsidies for fossil fuel industry. No more drilling on federal lands. No more drilling, including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill. Period ends. So much for that. He did an interview with The Daily Show trying to justify all this. Well, first of all, we're going to fashion anyone's ever gone. We're going to need fossil fuels for at least the next ten years. It's not like tomorrow. We can turn it all off. Okay. Number one. And so we're going to need fossil fuel. But we have to do is we have to I've said no more drilling off our ocean. I mean, a whole range, but it still has to be there has to be the ability to generate some energy. I mean, I don't even know what to say. Other than Joe Biden has grown up. Joe Biden has become an adult. I mean, it took him until he was 80, but he's now officially an adult. He recognizes the EIT and wave a magic wand and suddenly have a whole EV economy.

"At least three banks, two of which have already shut down others, not doing well right now. And it's going to be a bit of a rocky road. My recommendation for you is look, don't panic here. There is no reason to panic. I would say that by and large, most of the people listening to this program do not have more than a quarter $1 million in the bank. So if you, if you have more than a quarter million, well, you might want to be a little concerned. But if you don't, you really don't have much to worry about right now. However, there are some residual effects that are impacting a lot of people. I know here in the Memphis area, there was a very popular local liquor store. They used direct deposit through one of the companies in the Silicon Valley bank and as a result, nobody got their paycheck on Friday. A lot of people using Etsy, you're not getting your money, and that's a big problem for a lot of small businesses right now across the country. So my question to you is whether or not we need to be bailing out banks like Silicon Valley bank. Because there are probably going to be a few more that go belly up before all this is said and done. And I appreciate what Bernie Marcus had to say, one of the cofounders of Home Depot, and he said, hey, look, the problem here with Silicon Valley bank is these folks went woke. When you look at all of the things this bank was doing and typically by and large, they were servicing the tech industry, they're in California. But man were they woke. They were invested heavily in climate change initiatives, LGBT stuff, the sex and gender crowd, it was insane over there. As a matter of fact, they actually had a personal stamp that was in charge of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

"You know, let me say this about Christians sometimes. I get people giving me pushback and they claim that they're Christians and they're like, well, you always, you name call it Jesus name called in the Bible. It's calling somebody a viper, not a name, not name calling. It's calling somebody a hypocrite, not name calling, is making the declarative statement. I don't even know if that's a word, but it sound good. Making a statement to say, these people will no way into the kingdom of God. Isn't that a judgmental statement? Isn't that harsh to say? But our lord and savior didn't hold back telling the truth about these phonies. Because if he sat there and was passive about his statements against the people who are destroying America or not in our sense, destroying America has since trying to destroy the kingdom of God. And I would argue in our sense as well. Trying to destroy the word of God trying to destroy the kingdom of God. You got to call these people out for who they are. So that the youngsters don't fall to the trap and be deceived. And think that these people are in it for your best interest. They are not. The pharisees were not in it for the people of God's best interest. They were lost.

He wrote a book made millions off of his book. That's capitalism. He could have gave his book away for free. Now, I wrote a book. I know how much it costs for me to write the book to have the editors to pay for the book. Why can't you give it to him for free? And they pay for it cost. If he's, you know, off of socialism because the thing is that some people don't make as much money as others. And so they may not be able to forge a book. So why don't you give it to them for free? I'll give it to everybody can pay the lowest common denominator. Give it to them at cost. Therefore, everybody can afford your book. No, he doesn't. Of course he doesn't. Then come to find out tickets to the show. $95. I don't even charge $95. And I'm way smarter than Bernie Sanders.

"All right, let me talk about scamming Sanders. You know, these leftists, they are mentally ill or evil. They fall in one of those categories. Some of them the reason that they talking to act the way they do because they have a mental disability. If you're a type of person that struggles with cognitive dissonance and you can't even perceive reality and you don't even have truth rooted in your arguments and you can't even balance your perspective and agree to disagree with people, you have no basis for your arguments. All you do is operate in an emotion. That is a mental illness. There are some people that had what we call Trump derangement syndrome. People should have been diagnosed and treated for Trump derangement syndrome. And now this woke ology won't derangement syndrome or whatever you want to call it. These people are struggling with a mental illness. I really believe it's a mental illness. They can not, for the life of them, perceive how capitalism is a good thing. Although they flourish in capitalism, they can not understand how this country can be so racist. Although this is the greatest country on Planet Earth, and they know they just making this stuff up.

What Does Nikki Haley's Run for President Really Mean?
"So Nikki Haley, I don't think she has a single chance whatsoever to be the president of the United States of America. But I think it's fair for people to get into the race and be competitive. I really do. I don't think that it's fair to our country. And it's fair to the voters, the electorate that you just randomly pick one guy and you just go with it. I think other people should be competitive enough to challenge. But I also believe that when they have no path to a genuine challenge of any of these politicians that they should drop off, I'm now starting to understand why a lot of people get in the race because they're bidding for VP positions are being a part of the cabinet and all these other stuff. So it's not like some of these people are genuinely running for president. They're actually running to align themselves or I would argue they would, I can't think of the word, I wanted to say campaign but it's not audition is the word I'm looking for. That they would audition in order to have favor with the person who wins, therefore they can have a position in the administration. I would argue that that's probably primarily what these people are doing.

Is It Prime Time for Nikki Haley?
"Nikki Haley is now putting her name to run for the president of the United States of America and it's crazy because three things are happening here at one time. You have Nikki Haley running for president, then you have Nikki Haley challenging Trump, right? I mean, she's not running for nothing. She should be competitively challenging Trump. And then you have what Don lemon said about Nikki Hayley. Now, I made a comment about this on the show last time. I haven't gotten any emails saying that somebody was so upset with me that they decided to call in or something to complain. However, I did have somebody that may not have come to my son's birthday party because of what I said. And the crazy thing is is that everything I said was true. Now, I think Don lemon is a complete idiot. And they didn't fire him when he said white people were they didn't even suspend him when he said white people were the biggest threat to America, but somehow, and what I would argue is a fair statement that Nikki Haley has passed their prime could be passed their prime according to the Internet and when you say the Internet is statistical data that most women and I would argue men as well, you know, when you start getting past your 50s, you're not in your prime. You're prom. And people like to conflate too because they get their feelings hurt and it's like a dog getting hit. They're going to scream the loudest. Prime just means that your highest mental acuity at your highest physical at your looks, I mean everything. You were just at a Pinnacle and then you begin to decrease from there and you die at some point, right? Some people don't want to admit you die. You can't be at your peak and you're about to die. And I'm saying, I'm not saying you die 50, but when you start getting a 70, 80, the average lifespan of a person in America, I think, is around 80 something. So when you start getting there, you towards the end, okay? Can we admit that you'd probably not your prime?

The O'Keefe Case Isn't Over Until It's Over
"I made a statement online and said that I will never support project veritas again. This is my personal choice, has nothing to do with Salem. I said I will never support project veritas again because they ousted James O'Keefe. And my opinion, I believe James O'Keefe is project veritas. So without him, what's the point? That's like saying, it's like having a show that's like the officer Tatum show, but then replacing the office Tatum with somebody else, but it's still called the officer Tatum show. They actually makes no sense. But there were allegations from the board that they were investigating James O'Keefe. And they said that James O'Keefe refused to go to meetings and he refused to cooperate and try to reach out to him and make amends. Some of the accusations that they're accused of James O'Keefe is spending donor money and access that will be, I would say that would be deemed unbecoming of a personality or unbecoming of a CEO or leader of project veritas. Let me just give you some highlights. This is what they claim in their statement is that he spent $14,000 on a a singular charter flight to meet someone to fix his boat under the guise of meeting with the donor. This is the allegations. $60,000 in losses by putting together dance events such as project veritas experience. Then another price point was over a $150,000 in black cars in the last 18 months. Thousands of dollars spent on DJ and other equipment for personal use, hundreds of other acts of personal. Inurement, I think this must be a. I think this must be a typo here. I don't have never heard of the word in your mint. But anyway, let me play the James O'Keefe clip 'cause I want you guys to hear kind of what he had to say about it, roll clip two. "All right, so guys, here's the deal. We got a racist in The White House and I'm gonna be getting to some COVID stats and things that some things that I've learned, some things that I've researched, I got so much more to get to, so we've got a lot of conservative cardio. I do want to give you this update. Had to forgotten man. El Paso moss shooting suspects stopped by citizen with a gun, police say thank God for law abiding citizens that happened to carry. The 16 year old suspected of killing one person and injuring three others. After opening fire in a Texas mall on Wednesday, was stopped by a citizen legally carrying a firearm that all pass a police department said. Emmanuel Duran 32 shot the team suspect believed to be responsible for the death of Angeles zaragoza 17 and the CAO vista ma police said on Friday. As soon as the shooting ended the 16 year old suspect began to run and was pointing the gun toward the direction of bystanders, including 32 year old Emmanuel Duran, a licensed to carry holder. As a suspect ran toward Duran and bystander saran drew his handgun and shot the suspect. This according to law enforcement after stopping the suspect Duran, and an off duty El Paso police officer rendered a to him and the other people who were injured. The suspect is in stable condition, official said the suspect who has not been named due to his age also allegedly wounded a 17 year old Hispanic male, a 20 year old Hispanic male and a 15 year old boy. This according to local outlet M according to the El Paso police sergeant Robert Gomez, he said, and I quote, it's always concerning, especially when a 16 year old has a stolen handgun and fires a weapon inside a very crowded mall. It's very concerning. It's very disturbing, actually.

"I was talking about this racist that's in The White House, and it's administration that totally racist. They hate white people. They hate white working class. People or at least the people bite in staffers do. I suspect that it's Susan Rice running a lot of this stuff, but just before I get to that, let me just touch on some of the key points that have been with Biden's visit to Ukraine to Kyiv today. They see Biden pouring money into Ukraine with no plan to win our leaders are military leaders sadly between Millie and Lloyd Austin with no plan, no strategy to win and let's make no mistake about it. Yes, it's the Russian Ukraine war, but it's also America's proxy war because we're not even getting our fear. We're not even getting a fair amount of money. In my opinion, from Europe. At this point, we did the frontal damage, Europe needs to come in and fight this fight. We're not demanding that.

The Worst President of All Time
"You guys may have heard the news. I'm sure you have that the former president Jimmy Carter is in hospice care. He will no longer go down as the worst president in American history, thanks to Joe Biden. Listen, by all accounts, Demi Carter was a smart guy. He seemed like a very nice guy. Obviously he has a reputation for being an humanitarian and doing a great job in great work for the people outside of the presidency. I couldn't stand the way that he would chime in on when it came to former president Donald Trump. I wish that some of these former presidents would just keep their mouths shut, frankly. I wish Jimmy Carter would have done that. Having said that, however, he by all accounts he was a very good and decent decent man. And so he will be missed, no doubt about it. But Joe Biden is has taken over as the worst president in American history and my opinion. So Jimmy Carter can rest, you know, he can go to heaven, knowing that he didn't go out as the worst president in American history.

Why Aren't the Radical Progressives Fighting for Eastern Ohio?
"We've seen in Ohio situations like this typically Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren would be out front. For example, Bernie Sanders would make special trips out to north and South Dakota to try to block dapple the Dakota access pipeline. Elizabeth Warren, I remember I'm sure we could get video or images of it. She used to fly to Seattle for the wage strikes, if I remember correctly, Bernie Sanders flew down to a labor dispute. I think it was either Toyota or Amazon. Do you remember this? It was they were trying to unionize and Bernie Sanders parachuted in. The point being is Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders seem to just kind of be on constant tour going from one labor fight to anti corporate demonstration to the other. However, when eastern Ohio, the muscular class middle class Midwest, mostly white area, is legitimately attacked, or let's be even more neutral. Harmed. By either negligence or just corruption and there is an environmental component to it, which is one of the sacred gods of the modern American left, there's silence and there's almost disinterest. Why? That's a great question. And I don't have an easy answer. I mean, I think that's you hit on something. And I think that unfortunately this is just the reality is that east Palestinian is a largely white working class town. These are just not people that we, by we, I mean, the American political establishment really cares about. They're just not people that capture headlines. We ended up going up because all the doors downstairs the jam by debris. And we are defining an opening. And we saw like which I thought was a life on an upper floor. It turned out to be the son. As we all know we could. There wasn't a cloud and sky that day, and this was about I want to say 20 o'clock or so. And we were lucky enough that 43 truck came by. And we came by and rescued us. Right by throwing up ladders because you have to remember Now we're on top of what was left. There were still six floors up. From the ground. If you can imagine the salt shaker on the table, we're on top of that Salt Shaker. So then we had put Josephine and a Stokes basket. And bring her down and then traverse across the debris field in order to get out. Which is an event in itself. But we were very fortunate, uh, to get Josephine out to get ourselves out and I ended up Going to the hospital. But before that, I tried to get back into the building. To get serious was, you know? I promised I would return. Unfortunately, I was turned away by the fire debris and I was taken to the hospital. My family was brought out to me. Uh, just it was ST Vincent's back then. And they came to the hospital to visit me and eventually We were allowed to go home. My injuries were superficial, mostly soft tissue damage stuff I could You know the homeless and, uh And we waited there and I, you know, obviously they said what they said Don't they told my wife Don't let him sleep. We called for the other concussion, okay? A minor one anyway, so I couldn't sleep anyway. So I just watch TV for us in the night. Hey, before we run at a time, Uh, just quickly. No, no, no, no. Your story is so compelling. It's fascinating. I mean, I've been listening. I mean, it's amazing story. Just tell us quickly. What happened to your to your canine partner? Yeah. Okay. So about a week goes by And I remember telling my Children that you know, we we eventually find him and We've nothing came of it. And then in February of Next year. What they found, uh remained and they called me. And my partner, Officer Martin, My trainer, actually. Um, down to ground zero. We Went down, had his body and the body bag and asked what I wanted to see it. I said no. I want to remember him the way he was. So we carried him out, and they paid him the same reverence they did whenever body was found at ground zero, which means They said. They turned off all the machines. They stopped all the work. And there was a priest at the head of the lamp. And he actually would say prayers for the people as they came out, and when it came to my dog, he even said a prayer for all creatures. Great and small, that purse that thing. And let her go back to the hospital. I mean to Bellevue to take his body and on the way which pilot passed the four started facilities where everybody came out and absolutely Wow. And, um Yeah. And then the best part of the worst part was after the hospital. They turned around and They took the flag off his body, folded it up and handed it to me, which for me, it was very difficult. And then the detective came out and said the that the coroner We have seen all kinds of horror that for the last few months, So, uh so I my dog and broke down was, uh, pretty rough, David. I never thought that Biden would be a two term president, and I thought that was because of age. And I'm not sure what's going to happen at the midterms. You know, the Democrats could have some problems here. I don't know who their candidate would be, and I certainly don't know who the Republican candidate would be. So I think it's just for some fascinating times. Do you have a crystal ball at work? I do not have a crystal ball. I think Biden will do everything possible to run again. If he has the least bit capable. He's going to He's going to run again and Democrats, which it's not looking good. That's not looking good. Democrats have a huge problem in common. Harris is very unpopular. She's more unpopular than Biden. But But not nominating her would be really difficult. You know, the first African American woman vice president really hard for them, and then the Republican side. It just all depends. As far as I can see on what Trump decides. Trump runs, he's Distributive front runner to win the nomination again. And are we really ready for Biden Trump matchup with Biden kind of reduced from wherever he is now and Trump yet again, you know, that's what he might have, but But again, it's It's hard to predict any of this, and the safest prediction always is, whatever we expect isn't going to happen. Now rich you famously at the national Review, You guys came out very strongly against Trump. Should he run? Would the national review still be against him? I think so. We would be for whoever whoever the alternatives, and I do think there would be other candidates running against him. It would just be a smaller field than it would That would otherwise. And I just think he's going to be really tough. You know? Maybe you know, Biden keeps going like this. Maybe he could beat Biden. But I think the best move for the party find someone who can take the good From Trump and how he changed the party, but put it in a new direction and not bring spring all his Trump's baggage. Rich before we run. We've been asking all of our guests, their thoughts on the 20th anniversary of 9 11. And where were you and and what stands out all these years later? Well, I was living on 14th between Union Square and fifth. I heard the first plane from my apartment and I remember thinking Well, that's a sound people describe when they when they see a CIA plane crash and because the first one came roaring down Fifth Avenue, which is half a block to me. I didn't think anything of it. I didn't hear as too far down south to actually hear the impact. And then a friend texted me. We'll turn on the TV. Like what Channel is like? No, you don't understand. Turn on the TV and I saw the first plane hit hit. I watched on TV for a little bit. I went down, uh, down in the street on Fifth Avenue and, you know, as everyone says, was like a scene out of the movie cab stopped at the doors open, the radios blaring with the news and the second Tell us on fire didn't understand how the second one, I've gotten on fire. And then then, then I I learned the second planet hit as clear. What what had happened, and the one thing I remember very vividly, which was just bizarre. There's a pickup truck stopped on the side of the street where I was on Fifth Avenue and the guys were sitting on top of the cab. So their friends can take a picture of them sitting on the cab with the burning towers in the background and that for me, that was still that was the moment people didn't really realize the enormity of what happened. Even then. And I went back up to write something really quickly about it went back down, and after that they collapsed and people are weeping in the streets, and you could smell smoke down there. You know, not that close to ground zero, But the smoke, you know, lasted for a really long time. Remember Astrid Electric smell and your nostrils and just anyone who experience you're never going to forget it. I lived in. I could come up with the idea that some grand conspiracy in the state of California holding Britney Spears captive While delicious seems a little rich for my blood. I think it's something a little bit more complicated. You know to me, it seems it's just obvious that it's her mental health. And we wouldn't know about that. Because that be protected information that Her father. People around her say, think she's mentally unstable, and that's the reason they want to protect her. I think you're right. I know him, but I think there is an issue that goes more to the conservative ship in general. Then, then the British specific case. And it's not uncompelling if she can go to Vegas and make millions of dollars for her and her family and the people around her. Why can't you control her life? Is it the state of California's problem? If Britney wants to hang out with losers and waste her money? Is that really you know their responsibility. Is that really something her father should be allowed to prevent. I don't think so. A lot of people agree now I think it also doesn't necessarily mean it. She's not mentally incompetent, right? And I think a lot of the evidence from back and you know, 2000 and 2000 and nine shows that she surrounds herself with bad people who take advantage of her. And when her father stepped in and put those people on ice, that was a good thing. That does not mean that he is not without his own shame and his own motives here. So it's complicated. I think it goes all of them to the idea of what's the role of the state in this case, California in protecting really rich people who might be mentally unstable from blowing their riches. "Right, well, we've got some big sports stories this morning. The Supreme Court has ruled that The N C. Double A can have these kids working for nothing there when everybody's making a ton of money, the universities the double a ton of money, college sports from all the television franchises, and the Supreme Court said that, uh Well, these kids are entitled so far too modest payments compensation for things like computers and whatnot. But the big story folks is Brett Kavanaugh. Very fine justice, I must say. He has said. This is an antitrust issue, and he's opened the door and already, Lenny, you were saying that I'm sure lawyers are lining up. To push this further and say that hey, free market. These kids are entitled to be paid. What? What the market will bear and I just don't see how the Supreme Court is not going to uphold that you point Yeah, well, they certainly opened the antitrust door. And I've heard the attorney's already who brought this particular case. Now this case is limited to expenses that the athletes incur in college, so it broadens what they can be paid and compensated for educational expenses, which you know it's obviously a Pandora's box as well. I mean everything. Is considered educational expenses, but um, but it does, and the attorneys have said they're going to broaden their next case and and go for the big prize, which is pay for play. And I just for the life for me. You don't know how that's going to work. I mean, uh, you're going to have a wage scale across the country are the big schools. Joe mentioned Notre Dame. I mentioned Alabama. These schools going to just dominate because they can pay the most and you know the smaller colleges will fall. By the way. I mean, what's going to happen so We'll see. It's gonna. It's a fascinating case. Well, don't these big schools already pretty much dominate? Well, many of them do. Yeah, So now we'll just be, I guess over the table payments as opposed to under the table payments, But I think there's a lot of issues here. I mean, does this mean even more death nails for minor sports of colleges? Because you're you know you're going to pay all the money to the football and basketball players. You know what's left for Uh, tennis and soccer and fencing and the swimming team and the wrestling team and all that stuff. No fencing. Oh, my God. That's the end. I know, you know. Well, that was bigger. Colombia. Where were you at Columbia? I remember all the kids from Stevenson went to join the Columbia fencing team. That was a big deal issue. Alright if the women's soccer team takes off and has a television franchise, and they have great ratings, then absolutely pay the women But, you know, right now, people would rather watch more people to rather watch college football, then college soccer. When it all comes down to money, and I don't know how I'm gonna decided. I really don't know Now this other story that's that's making the big headlines. Is Carl Nassib. Now he's a defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders. He's been in the league for a handful of years, and he says, Okay, that's it. I'm coming out. I'm gay. I'm there's never been an active Gameplay. Now there have been. You must remember the University of Missouri football player Michael Sam, who was openly gay. He was drafted, but he never played in the NFL. Uh, so this uh So Nassib is the first and he made a public announcement yesterday. I saw people in Carl Nassib. I'm at my house here in Westchester, Pennsylvania. Want to take a quick moment to say that I'm gay. I've been meaning to do this for a while now, but I finally feel comfortable enough to get it off my chest. Obviously, uh, you know you're talking about a macho sport like football. Michael, you brought it up before and then have a chance.
