Absolutely not. No. You wanna get rid of it. So we'll continue that thought of before we go into plus extension and talk about the amazing stuff you have coming up, including the word of it in black. Not awful the time. You did a potty that I'd say thank you, spent one. Another guests awful, the polite men in black. I wanted to say if you've had any experiences wanna shit. I have I'm gonna put into plots okay, I'll show one before we. All right. If you have it, your show you. So when I was in kindergarten and this was in England I used to live in England. I used to write Bah. Folks, the word box bioethics on every single page of every single piece of paper I had like in my work books in my textbooks and little pitcher books. Every word Asari every page in a book owned fund Benjamin Grundy had box on the, the kind of bottom left of the page. We just did it did it every night a lot. It was my ritual. Get out my pen people with side mornings at me. I wouldn't even talk to them. Get my pen out, and I would write books and then attend the Pedra books. Just do this every hang on what's important here because this is what the think comes in. Did you have some Belay folded? You think would happen if you didn't do it. No, I think I liked the way the wood box look. Just like you just nuts. It's a nice like the base. Vic suckle an Xs so satisfying to draw. Hell Hell is is running. balanced lines? It's such a beautiful mindset much worse. I used to do this every single day on like I said every single pipe. And again, I think it was it must have been kindergarten first grade. One day, the tesa just pulled me aside and said Benjamin, why he doing this, and I just looked her said, I don't know got no idea. I don't know why I'm writing box, and that was the first time that the IT or whether I should be doing entered my universe. Still be riding box inside piper for the rest of my life. I just never entered my mind that doing it was questionable. And I, I remember thinking about it and going, yeah. You're right. My brother, for example, always had to stick something into something if he saw a hall that sounds how that now he's twelve. At a very slow painless. But no, there was he would always have to if he like sore a hole somewhere. He would hanging out with him. And you know you just cough. Not like that. Whatever I dislike it was like, for example. So if he saw, like a postbox or something he would have to go and scrunch up the piece of paper and it in there or something, right? What if any burrito, and I start yodeling? All right. But he was on the key realized it, but he did. Two things one he shoved a two cent coin into an electrical socket and blew himself off the wall on because he was, but he was really young. "The mysterious universe. Sees at twenty one episodes six coming up on this show with got the first rule of youth. Oh, fight club. Both the daunting, hyper dimensional entities and Diana Walsh. Basilica joins us to discuss a new book American cosmic. I'm Benjamin Grundy joining me as Aaron rights and to celebrate that first rule we're going to break it, right? All talking about you. The question is who's in you Afo fought club. We still don't know all we know is that there's a group of very influential scientists possibly a lot of people that make huge amounts of money market moves these kinds of papal five scientists in their fields around the world, very interested in the phenomenon. But also the technology that may be able to provide to humanity. Yes. So the UFO fought club is Tom old not really the you fought club. She just calls it the fight club. It's a Tom that Diana wall specific has coined for this elite group of scientists billion as entrepreneurs really some really smart people who are secretly interested in the UFO phenomenon. They're not going about it in a public fashion. They don't tell anyone it's entirely Don outside the knowledge of the people they work with all their boss. Oh, one of the company they're running. But they they're very very interested in the UFO and ex. Terrestrial phenomenal. Well, I really liked that we spoke to Diana because much like many of the people that stop looking at the Afo phenomenon. There's that old saying that starts looking back. And that's exactly what I think has happened to Diana. I mean, she's very much just sitting on the fence and willing to entertain any belief system because that's what she does. She's an academic. She's a religious academic. She's happy to hear people's experiences and recalled that his data. She's not passing any judgment as to whether or not she believes it. But when she looked at the phenomenon of UFO's and tried to make comparisons between you know, belief in religion and belief in UFO's. Yeah, she it seems like she was very suddenly just pulled down this rabbit hole of high strangeness and madness which absurdity we'll Anna points out that she quickly realized she wasn't writing the book that she sit out to Ryan. She's a professor of religious studies at the university of North Carolina Wilmington and chair of the department of philosophy and religion. But harasser focuses on religion and technology, including supernatural belief and. It's connections to digital technologies and environments and really with this book. She set out on this seeks year ethnographic study interviewing people like we mentioned really influential scientists professionals Silicon Valley entrepreneurs who all believe in extraterrestrial intelligence and bicycling immediately. She disproves this misconception that it's quacks and crank quacks in your yokels hillbillies believe in the UFO phenomenon..

I'm Benjamin Grundy joining me as our and right? I'm excited about this show because we've been hanging out to get the rebirth of painful a long time now, and it was like four hundred dollars a something on Amazon like well. We're never going to get that. But Allison from Illinois came through the same person who gave us vampire, da. She's out scanning angel said thank you Alison, and I got the book, but it just so happened that you also go a copy as well. And you've just flipping through the first few pages. Why did you see me? And I feel like I've seen trick. I have been tricked on the show because I would say stayed on the Email, and you kept talking about this book, the rebirth of pan. How you have to get a copy you hunting down at copy. It was published in the early eighties. And he's walking on it through the late nineteen seventy s this is the author Jim Brandon, and I started to read. Stupidly because the first couple of stories are about invisible sasquatch and. Yeah. Insane a cave monsters and all these wild stories. So I- message you and said I'm just gonna start reading this because he said to me earlier in the week all we can read it together. We'll both. So I start writing and gradually. It starts getting more and more complicated. And Dan and on sensical as the pages go on. And then for some reason, you just lumped it on me. To do this whole thing for the show or what have you working on something else? I feel like it was some kind of biting switch. No it wasn't. It was more than I just interpreted that you would sit. I've got this at worry about it. I'll work the this. I'm reading some of it. And then you just started working on something else. "Serious universe season. Twenty one episode four coming up on the show of the curse of the Manganze, French mold people, and when that burning feeling in your pants is not an S T D. I'm Benjamin Grundy. Joining me. Our right dish may just maybe relate to spontaneous combustion. All. I was just gonna say spontaneous genital combustion. No this really elaborate that it's not. That's what happens when you're up to stick together. Then karston. It's too early for that. So I realized I have no idea. I have no idea what you've got planned for this show. I can see a strange book with personal fire. We'll it all came about. Because I saw that this week. Louis proud who we spoke to on the show probably about ten years ago. Now, if you remember that book, doc intrusions right book. Yeah. Fantastic book, and I was just reading through the haven't gone all way through the book. But he was saying that when he started off looking into this nominal, especially when it came to the sleep paralysis stuff. So if you recall, he had incredible slip process experiences when he was younger, and he's taken us sales like floating dillashaw things hanging around see things in the house. Remember he was saying he was staying at a Buddhist retreat and throwing us living there. Yeah. And they brought in sage to get rid of the spirits like burning sage and all that happened is just attracted more and more and more and more more. Yeah. And I just magnet for them. Exactly. But I've noticed in this particular book that he's con of hasn't. Stepped back from the idea of these being spirits or whatever else, but he certainly has conned of perhaps mellowed and trying to approach this whole book is about pro approaching the areas of the paranormal that are considered to be what was called borderlands. Right. So these areas where he's trying to apply some scientific investigation to this stuff. So one of these chapters actually goes into spontaneous human combustion, which is being a point of contention science full almost three hundred years now understand the burning feeling your yes. Yes. That's that's going into because they're actually used someone who has a fire in their crotch, literally. And it's not an SE de. So essentially I wanted to look into that from Moravia supernatural approach. So I'm going to skip over his book for the time being and go to the far extreme for the hottest of hot shop confined, literally literally chaff. Chaff and I've gone through an all book cold the entrancing flame. And this is by John Hayman, and I've briefly touched this book in the past..

"Twenty episode twenty-five coming up on the show, we've got death by Christmas tree death by and the. The dog men. Benjamin Grundy joining me is Aaron right? That is not what we agree to before the show at all. I gave you the headlines that I don't know where death by came from. When do we agree? Whatever happens. This is in the spirit of the tradition of the law show the year, let it all hang out well bible, hang out zero f it goes into producing the show. So I have done zero research my research leading up to the show is being ating seventeen of your chocolate Christmas flakes this. In the new year. I have to stop running a lot harder. Because I it hasn't been a good end of the I'm going to dad bought going on. Now. It's terrible. What was that book? Oh, well, you could talk. So nothing really planned for the show though, you have a segment lined up for plus members usual reset actual researched edited. Yes. Segue coming up plus subscribers at the end of the show. And of course, you know, I didn't get a chance to do it. But I was talking about those strange battlefield scavenges, and those elemental I've caught a mixed in now with just a little bit of dog men being associated with you. I there's only can this somewhere and all will be revealed in the plus extension at the end of the show. But before we get there. What are we going to do for this year? Toss it on to me. Silly to me, I can stop with something pretty more. But if you want, oh, okay. Okay. We'll start with something pretty well. Because I think Christmas is a stressful time, let's be pretty stressful here, I didn't realize the moment that you have kids. I don't want to be one of those people. That's like, oh, you don't understood until you have kids. But honestly, I haven't been able to do anything. I haven't been able to send Qods try to wrap stuff as being a mess criticism at least stressful. Well, this was dealt with in a very interesting way in nineteen twelve by man of the name Kane. Apparently, he was quite uncomfortable about his wife inviting all of the relatives of Christmas, and they actually said to a I to get along with everyone on and I want everyone to like me, but it makes me really soul when there's a big crowd of the house. And I just I just don't want them. He this year. And so her response was well too bad. We'll have Christmas here. So what he did is he raged all the Christmas gifts that he'd received in the shape of a coffin lay dead inside the Coskun of gifts put a bullet through his brain. Nice. What a great way to start the show. Dude. I'm glad you did that what were you getting this? This is from Chris jots twelve days of morbid crispy to it in the show. It's even she's done. Some really good research. Sounds amazing. Can you not do any more of those stories place? I have just one more. How about one pull go hot fourteen? Who was so delighted at receiving a pair of skates that he added a cry of joy and fell to the floor dead from hot failure. So what is this just this collection of people dying at Christmas? Yeah. Pretty much people want. No, it's because I mean Christmas was within Christmas is stressful dab at Christmas was dangerous back in the early nineteen hundreds and light eighteen hundred but even in the middle of the nineteenth century as well. There was a story here from Pittsburgh when there was a guy who had taken this strange looking copper tube that he just found outside and he hung it on Christmas tree. It was this carpentry with two wise attached to it. And what do you put ocean of law is that's horrible. What do you put it on the tray the blue pot at law and blues? Good. He survived. His father was only slightly injured. Ed, he lost a finger. But that was the end of it. It wasn't so bad. So it's not all completely more. But it's what I had a terrible Christmas. It's uncomfortable Christmas. That's horrible. I start this show..

We've been doing shifts so busy bottle fed. So we've kind of split the the judy's, and it's fine. This old pot of being a parent and as much as I thought that being constantly coveting poop and screaming would be terrible. I absolutely love it. Love every moment of it. Also. Also, an amazing show coming up by spoke to pay Tabib gall. He's the author of the new book strange frequencies, the extraordinary story of the technological quest for the supernatural. It's a really fascinating book. He's exploring the, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of technology. So we covered quite a bit in this interview. He talks about AVP's. There's a section on sound says he tries to create a Golam. Yeah. And we're gonna talk about ultimate tones as well as so much in the sun much in this. And what do you have coming up for extension? I'm so glad that you'll hear because of just been, you know, doubled down with to the whole show solo. So I am Dodig that you've got some content for me, what have you been working on in the white? Well, I've been working on actually hooking up with a local guide. So he'll available at the moment. But I did get a chance to briefly speak to him. And he's pointed me in the direction of some modern Hawaiian folk tales. And when I say more than nineteen sixty nine hundred seventy s but experiences that aunt really well known. He much of the the folklore on the the paranormal activity, which is associated with the island really comes from all the folklore going back to the hundreds and even further so not not a lotta people have really looked at the more recent encounters, but he pointed me in the right direction. And I found this incredible story of a guy who. Basically, he came over from Japan, and he bought this rundown sugarcane plantation, and everyone said, no, no, no, you don't want to buy that. Hey, just thought it was because it was like the local saying, well, we don't want you owning this land. And we don't want you here. But he very rapidly found out that these people were trying to help him because they seem to be some type of sinister presence that existed in this plantation that was hell bent on getting him and his family the hell out of there. So I'm looking forward to getting into that later in the show wholesome. I'm looking forward to the shape. Shifting guardian shock as well. This. But I came across these these really strange stories, they seems to be in traditional Hawaiian folktales that a lot of people have these guardian spirits that are protecting them..

"We'll get a mysterious universe season. Twenty episode nineteen coming up on the show with got the threat of the grinning man, the missing on one tractor beam and Nick Redfern joins us to discuss his new book top secret alien, abduction files. What the government doesn't want? You to know. I Benjamin Grundy flying solo on this episode. Aaron is still in Hawaii with his brand Nissan. Congratulations, buddy. The delivery went really, well and Young Sam is healthy, and Erin and the family, absolutely ecstatic. He is over the moon. And I I'm really so happy for you buy. It's just incredible news. I was getting a bit worried on Monday because he told me that the baby's mother was going to be in juiced. And then I didn't hear from him for quite a while so attend out to be a drawn out labor. I think it was fourteen hours that the labor so glad everything went well in the end so Aaron's going. To be with his his child obviously for a little bit longer. He may actually join us next Friday remotely from Hawaii. He took a leaky with him. So we'll see how that goes. Hopefully, we can get a recording going, but I am happy to fly solo. It's kind of it's different being in the office by myself. There's no one to yell out random comments to find something crazy that I'm researching if I find something really we'd in a book, I just yelled out into the air, and you know, usually I'll get a response, but it's just a bit. It's a bit. We'd doing this on your own you start to get in your own head a little bit too much on really looking forward to getting it all out on this recording. But we've got a great show coming up by sat down with one of our favorite authors on this show. Of course, a longtime contributed to the mysterious universe website, Nick Redfern, his brand new book has just come out. It's top secret alien abduction falls, what the government doesn't want you to know. And it's really interesting premise, he says, according to numerous abduct days after being kidnapped by aliens, they kidnapped again by the government. Now, he talks a lot about these follow up events. In the bulk there's the idea that there's this powerful group heathen deep within the military and the intelligence community that has an agenda, and it's trying to figure out what's going on with people that claim they've been abducted by extraterrestrials, and this really odd data housing these cases, like the obvious question is how do they know because they seem to show up these military forces or whatever they they seemed to show up very soon after some kind of alien interaction that the witnesses claimed. Now, we're gonna talk to Nick about some of these ideas and going to the history of the the interest of the United States government into the supposed. Act with exit terrestrial human beings have been reporting and that will eventually take us to some pretty wild stories. We're gonna talk about some classics. The Antonio villas boas case comes up with bizarre twist to it. We're going to be talking about the strange mouth man sightings that started popping up in Chicago loss g and the dreams associated with them and the interest again from the United States government and intelligence agencies in these reports now the extension I have coming up gels nicely with what I'll be discussing with Nick it also has a bit of a missing four one. One twist which is connected to a story that we discuss in interview as you're about to to find out and this also ties in to the men in black phenomenon, and we may be able to try some threads in the plus extension. Coming up that see these two topics often discussed all mysterious universe missing. Foreign one cases and men in black encounters somehow converge. Thing in a strange way. I hope I can pace it all together full you for for poss- members. But before that, let's go into our interview, this is Nick Redfern, and the brand new book is top secret Elian, abduction files with the government doesn't want you to know. Joining me is Aaron, right? He just hate it. When that happens. I mean you'll Byrd bath just happily got some birds. Next second, there being sucked into another dimension. It's a story from the brand new book. The ghost talker FRA from Julia, which was my go-to book. After I ran into some complications for the PawSox tension coming out, what do you mean complications? I was looking into Joseph Campbell's book on the inner h is of out of space. He was the guy who made all these connections to the number four thirty two or four hundred thirty two thousand in history and through myth. Yeah. And remember doing this on the plus episode where you looked at, for example, the Cali Yuga was four hundred thirty two thousand. Yeah. And the information. That I left out of the episode is if you add up the links of DNA, Steve's with the kings, you would get to four hundred thirty two thousand. If you added up the life spans of people from biblical times would get to forty thousand thirty two thousand and I found on, but that was constant throughout so many things in nature. It came from this argument between four hundred forty Hertz versus thirty two. It's this argument in this kind of musical conspiracy that the standard for the notes see the harmonic which was changed to four hundred forty Hertz in the nineteen thirties should actually be four hundred thirty two because this is a harmonic of nature and it's like a natural residents of nature's from the music of this fees which is a bit new age out there unless yes, she start reading into some of the the history behind these crazy connections, right? And another one that I left out from the show when we covered that and this is the author who discovered this stuff. Joseph Cambell he looked into north mythology and I can't remember..

"The mysterious universe season twenty episode fourteen coming up on this show, proving digits of the bamboo monster, the womb room of academia and Laura Krantz joins us to discuss her new podcast. Whiled thing. I'm Benjamin Grundy joining me is our and right. I'm so looking forward to speaking with Laura because I think this is something that's relatively new few and I am because you and I have known about Bigfoot for a good while we belong. I personally Bigfoot for about ten years. No, no. But in all honesty, you know, I've been talking about sasquatch for ten years now, and I've noticed how progression are supposed arou- Joni, where I've certainly gone from believing that will be doesn't exist. It's just suddenly going, oh, maybe does exist. Maybe there is a breeding population of some strange off Troy something out there undiscovered, as you said, moving all the way into what we haven't found the body at all these crazy stories at their sasquatch being into dimensional. That's why I finally rested for the moment. Yeah, but Laura is just starting out on her journey, but Laura's a really good example of someone that I think that gets into this field through no fault of their own because I think most people that get involved in paranormal phenomena dirt necessarily have an interest in it at the beginning, but given this kind of little sliver, there's little light, the kind of pokes out in the distance and the thrust into it. And because of her strange family connection, this is what happened. She's gone from being very rational. There is no such thing as Bigfoot, scientifically minded person. Listen to suddenly being opened up to, hey, maybe it all starts with this weird little coincidence where she notices this family connection. Nello Krantz is veteran journalists. She's being an editor and producer and working with audio for years and years and years used to work for NPR very experienced. And she comes from as he said, Aaron, that rational scientific base mindset. And when she approached us about this new podcast series, that was the appeal to me that she was someone who, as you said, just had that glimmer of possibility. Yeah. Then flatly change. There might be something to this legend of sasquatch and give her a few years Chevy right up there with the divisional sought assess coach. And of course, Laura is Scott Connie's wife, Scott commies, a friend of the show. He's a guest twice for his incredible books. You might remember the loss one, what doesn't kill us, where he was talking about practicing the wind Hof, breathing methods, running up mountains, you know naked in. In the snow. And then he was on with the enlightenment trap as well about that incredible kind of Buddhist cult in Arizona yet that was sadly, unfortunately, killing people off. Yes. So when Scott pointed in the direction, if he's washed purged, we, we couldn't resist this sound of fantastic. So we'll speak to Laura in a moment about her new series, Wild Thing. But what what do you have coming up? What is the Bambu monster earned? It's actually more filthy than it sounds. Well, it's always expected when it comes to extensions, but yes, coming up plus extensions. See, I wanted to go into looking into some of the work of Bradstock over the last couple of weeks and because we ran out of time in the law show, I'll go into some of this strange wild spirit, cat transformation kind of stuff. And as I was just flushing through that, I came across this concept of John keel refers to it as the bedroom invaders, but essentially it's it's not house spirits, but it's when people get invisible entities in their homes, and no one knows exactly what they are. Sometimes they can be pulled the guys like activity. Sometimes I can appear as Gray's sometimes they can appear as gnome type creatures, but there seems to be the subset of entities that are hanging around people's homes. But ultimately, I came to the conclusion that that something to do with the men in black what? Yeah, the men in black are associated with this stuff. And also it comes down to stopping people from talking about their experiences and expressing what happens when they interact with you a foes, it's been happening for a long. Time whenever someone sees you a foes, simply some type of force which is trying to suppress it and in the store is that I found it becomes quite dock and quite horrible..

"Disorder and oak islands. Booby-trapped blue. I'm Benjamin Grundy joining me as our right well, to be fair. We're not even taller show that are balloons there, but we know that there might be some treasure. In fact, according to some people, they believe that there could be hundreds of millions of dollars if not billions of dollars. It's a lot of Doubloon. Well, we're not sure it's two balloons could be BAAs it's fun. It's two balloons. We'll go very excited about the balloons of a Neela as-as that entire modest overly excited about to balloon. What? How could you not be excited about Doubloon. Believe balloons it back out outback. Well, I'm glad you'll doing Collins because I remember covering that touching on it from Zeina Halpern's Templar mission to Collins and beyond. Remember that mad story of the hidden Templar document that revealed an ancient quest to the Americans memories fraud idea actually very dear Cole who she had this big update on Collins at the end of bull. Can I remember stunning to rate it and just blow my go this way too much information to deal with. That's what's happened with this book. So I picked up a copy of an updated addition of the secret treasure of oak island, the amazing true story of a centuries. All treasure hunt is by dossier Kana and it's really fascinating, but it's incredibly intense. It's incredibly detail, rich. So try to prepare gonna come up in the plus section of this show. I really had to kind of go through it and removal the well. They go to ninety two. Then they found washer that one hundred. I couldn't include all the little daytime lists the grains of sand found. Counts them, artificial beaches, and their extraordinary fates of engineering at a time. And it seems like it wasn't possible real. So whoever has done this, whoever has created this possessed possibly technology that we don't. We that we wouldn't expect back then that ties into the Templar conspiracies and the Templar, the French marie-antoinette's comes up. There's also the possibility here as well that they might be a paranormal edge. And that's why mentioning on the show, because there's also the guardians that are trying to protect this treasure, which includes spectral figures and also things same to invade people's brains into their dreams really and also Kohl's a terrible terrible coast. So it's fascinating because whatever you have anything like a treasure when you've got people, you know, like the all you'll heart and your soul is dedicated to the the searching for something like treasue and greed kicks in. This seems to be a little bit of occurs attacks. Always an element in the middle ages in the dock ages of not only burying treasure, but also trying to find treasure. It's like if you buried treasure, not only would you hide it some way, but you would also cost some kind of protection spell? Yes. You, you know, invoke guardian spirital, Damon, to look over your treasure. And likewise, if you're going treasure hunting, you would summon a demon that would find it for you. That's right. The hundreds of the years of people reporting interactions with this island. They have reported that there are essentially guardian spirits that inhabit this island that are also preventing anyone from finding this treasure. So maybe it's a little bit of a, you know, an all lifestyle. It's being tacked onto the end to an incredible story, but I'm going to list some of those stories for you coming up the plus extension, how might rather booby-traps crazy stuff will I have a huge line of research that I went through over the last three days. I started off with an Austrian biologists, new book, the healing code of nature, this Clemens, and this. Extending on from the work. I did lost year on forest bathing. Go out and get out into nature and it makes you feel better? Yeah, this Japanese, all these eastern concept because it's in career in China as well. But it is really, it's actually state sponsored health initiative in Japan and Korea and power. Djing citizens to go out regularly in forests, and tonight you work walks because the the science behind the the benefits is undeniable. Now it is is really clear that just spending time in a forest does absolute one does too. It extends even further than that. I think recent studies have found and I don't know if they are in Australia or in the.

"Serious universe season twenty episode six coming up on this show. We've got the secret life of blades the owl of the FOX and Greg, Dana new cook, join us to discuss their museum of the power, normal and cult. I'm Benjamin Grundy joining me as our and right. They were fantastic to have Greg Bennett back on the show off to serve many years in that time that we haven't spoken to them just a mass incredible museum with these really amazing artifacts. So excited to talk about the three hundred artifacts. Yeah, and we'll be talking about every single. Ten l. episode not quite. We did pick the most disturbing. I wouldn't say disturbing probably the most fast anyone's that have this long history behind them. But there were a couple that we didn't mention such as things like to give you an example of the objects that they pick up. One was the black hen plan, Chet, and the story behind this is that apparently a group of teenagers. And it's so typical with these these types of objects while it kind of has a little bit of a cliche feeling about them. But a group of teenagers went and bought Norwegian board, and they took it out into the woods and I started using it. And while though using all this plant shit would do was read black, hen, black, hen, and then spontaneously caught fire. What ever today? No, Ben's death. But then of course, all these people started of being plagued by these strange black shadows and problems in their lives, and now homes and they buried the board, but the board somehow kept on coming back. So that's how they acquired this plant Chet, which of course, now after being burned is melted and they claim that in the museum every now and again, that can actually he the plant shut moving around and its box on the inside. So creepy condis staff is a little creepy stuff.
