Well, drug gangs are seizing on the opioid crisis Americans dependence on opioids, and there is a flood of illicit Fenton. Aw, that's coming over from Mexico into the southwest. And it's killing people. They think that they're taking oxycodone, and they're really taking sentinel. Apparently Sinoloa cartel has gotten into the business and has been able to produce this stuff on one side. They stamp these little blue pills with an M on the other side. It's a thirty and they make it look like what would be a legitimate oxycodones pill, but it is in fact sentinel, and they're saying that these pills started showing up in Arizona in recent years as the newest product to be pushed by the Sinoloa cartel at last month. They said they found two hundred and fifty four pounds of sentinel in a truckload of cucumbers now two hundred and fifty four pounds. It's made its way into that. John and Ken promo where they talk about the potential to kill every person in the United States that it's only three and a half million dollars worth they say, but most of it was in powder form two pounds of it was made up of pills. They're stamped with 'em on one side and thirty on the other as you mentioned to make it look like oxycodone nine bucks to thirty dollars each they're charging, and they are killing people that just think they're popping a party drug. It's widespread at these parties these kids popping pills. There's a story the Associated Press put together about Aaron San are. Sorry, Aaron Chavez, and they said that he was at a Halloween party and popped at least one of these pills. Some of the other people at this party in Tucson back on Halloween took the pills that they nickname Mexican Oxy. Partygoers had to flag down the cops who brought in the lock zone to over to reverse the overdoses that they went people just dropping like flies. Yeah. And that's the thing is the the the potential for. Def. I mean, I remember going to school elementary school. The very beginnings of the dare campaigns in the say, no to drugs, and one of the big things that they used to say about crack cocaine was you try it. Once you're going to die your heart's gonna explode. But at the very least, you know, you may you may get so addicted that every you blow your family apart. You is, you know, you're so willing to believe or take whatever the hell it is when you're young like that the president in in the context of a border security. The president has mentioned drugs they'd come in is mentioned the opioid crisis and the potential for Fenton to come across the border. But this is one of those things that I I don't understand why it's not used more often. In terms of reason that we must demand security along the border this story from the Associated Press points to a woman who was paid two hundred bucks to bring pills across the border in Nogales, if you have border security in the form of a wall or a barrier. Whatever you wanna call whatever and you reduce the number of agents that are out in the Rick and wilderness, portray a patrolling out there. And can include them in the actual border crossing facilities that we do have. That to me makes more sense that you can you can reallocate the resources, the human resources that are responsible for making sure that this stuff doesn't come into the United States that to me was was an argument that I never felt like the president made when it came to border security that these things two hundred and fifty four free pounds offense yelling into the United States. Make it about that. Don't make it about the people. Don't make it a I mean, yes, we don't want criminals that come across. Yes. I got it this. We're talking about people dying. Right. And that should have been an issue that I that was really rose to the top of the list in terms of why we need border security Nick at the president on the phone. Coming up next Jesse small et. But today won't be like every other day they weighed them watches their classmates, jump into the back seats of mini vans and SUV's and sedans by ones and twos. Motherhood is the center of QC's life. Her greatest pride and joy. This is not the kind of woman who forgets to pick her boys up after school. And Gwen knows it without hesitation. She pulls over the boys have already been waiting for over an hour. The older brother has a cell phone, but he hasn't been able to reach his parents. Surely there must be some explanation, but when won't leave them there any longer. She loads the boys into her car for the short drive to their house. They drive past the car check and enter the gated community that these families call home when they arrive when walks the boys up to the front door of the Mediterranean, two story house. They knock and ring the doorbell, but there is no answer. There were a few packages piled up on the porch deliveries that would normally be taken in right away. The door is locked in the boys do not have a key. They've never needed one before the brothers have no idea where their parents are. QC is a stay at home, mom and her husband Peter works from home, and there's nowhere else they should be at this time on a weeknight. Gwen takes everyone back to her house and feeds the boys dinner while she tries to track down the Chadwick's no luck. She decides to pick up the phone one more time and call for help. Other times it's an employee who hasn't showed up for work or a parent who hasn't pick their children up after school. It's hard not to imagine the worst because only the worst makes any sense. Has there been a car crash of fall down the stairs, a gas leak, a medical emergency something. So dire that neither Peter or QC could make other arrangements for their boys are answer when they called from the bus stop.
