"Because our offensive line is good. Name receiver that they have they draft so medium chavez taylor all these different in that why they won't win a super bowl. We just trying to get to the playoff worried about that app. Got a quarterback. Joe burrow at lisa's point earlier. She mentioned frank pollack. And i do think what with the again. I don't think anybody here thinks that the bengals didn't knock of the offseason to address yards wide. Luckily though with the way the value strap you're gonna get some good off. Its it's at pick thirty eight and sixty nine now. Maybe you takes so i but you still need your team with the massive incredibly import position. One thing i will say this about chase with this physical nature play. Tj many times already. He plays the game that you play with a chip on a short. He plays like like. I like what you throw that in there you know. Let me let me tell you why. I'm trying to the point. Good he was that shoeshiner alec jason. I'm just telling you jason you can forget needs to be the mangles ring of honor teaching need to be in there. But you're more chase is an elite prospect. Let me the tried to make which is with the way. The game is played in the coach. You know this you a receivers coach.

"Get you four guys that the bengals could draft in a second round that only the second it'll be all flat receivers give me the name given those in one second. Let me let me respond to your point about not being first picks if you had to redraft the internet let let him let outlet a wreath. Does i mean hey week redrafts have winning actually. Is i love the martinez. He plays the game and play Tj place each the more. I don't know we trained what i was supposed to train him for to combine. But i wasn't going to texas and he didn't wanna come to california but he needs to clean up. He plays very high. The line of scrimmage guys get hands on and he just overpowers him. He's not going to do that in the league. He has to clean that up like he's talented. What he has flaws that he needs to clean up. Now i'm gonna give you four gossip. I liked it. Getting second round guys can play in. Which john ross gone. They need speed. They need guys that can stretch. The field to to atwill can do that. He beat anybody one on one four two hundred tickets that he's going to beat anybody one on one allies. You're more intense. Marshall junior does sport guys will be there. One of those four will be there as mars and are going to be there night..

"Course it actually would be to get that receding option and then to come back in thirty eight. Sixty nine. And load up on your. That's why everybody's identified the meekness with the bengals had been the forest guard quite interior linemen. They did silje reese. riley reef is a good player. He's the best eight year possibly even more smaller extension. So he can. He can be a viable option. Jody williams i think has all the makings of tackle. And by the way myles garrett one around joe burrow up jonah winter monster sacrilege was in the home game against closer fumbled pledge. Actually williams would try to recover the fumble that fumble yet but even so the point is even a good young left tackle. Joe williams has got to struggle against my myles garrett. Everybody struggle gets my myles garrett. I think when you have the ability to add game raking receiver the wavy. Nfl is moving. Everybody talked about how physical jomar chases writings catch. Won't let me cut to all right. The andrei brought up a really good point about a game breaking wire receiver. Great right and that's what. I want everybody to understand the impact of that. I think no one that i could think probably would know about a game breaking why receivers mortgage cj outer teasing. Are you there. What i wanted to make sure to audrey. I thank you for all those great points. I wanted to make sure that you were driving is to come to the civil war parts..

Philadelphia Eagles agree to terms with RB Jordan Howard
"Philadelphia signed jordan howard and they resigned boston scott last week and the bengals awesome good. That's just that's okay. If i will stay with the bengals released giovanni bravo. Go to the eagles this matter. We're just glossing way where we're just going to gloss over geelong we'll come back to that start with the eagles does. Does this matter. Jordan howard and boston scott back and again. The boss scott was not a surprise. They tendered leave so they did. We knew he was coming back. But now jordan howard joining the fold does this matter for miles sanders. Obviously scott matters more. I wonder if he'll become their version. Of nahim hines. And kinda sorta was already and jordan. Our coming back i. I'm not sure why. I don't know what they saw. In jordan howard. When he was in miami that makes them want to put him on the roster that maybe the roster spot is in guaranteed that would probably be the case We'll see it's not gonna make me any more nervous to draft miles sanders still think sanders worth a top thirty pack
William Jackson rips the Bengals and fans after signing with Washington
"William jackson the third Leaves the bengals. After five years he gets a three year forty million dollar contracts from the washington football team and good for man. Fine whatever william was good player. Here that is tantalizingly. Good two thousand seventeen eighteen and nineteen. We're kind of last year. He was good. I don't know that i'm paying him. Forty million bucks. He's mad about something so here he is. Here's william jackson the third. Wj three on one zero six seven. The fan in washington talking about bengals the bengals and bengals fans. I'm not asking you to talk about the bengals or anything but do you feel like the rest of the. There's not a big market A lot of people around the world or no. What i can do it without have did so. You're looking at it from scratch their point. That doesn't tell you who the player really are. You know like. I was in the guy that was picked on throwing it the whole time. So if you wanna watch the bingo which we would hardly own prime time. Tv wouldn't never know. Lee jackson is surprised by the outpouring on social media. Twitter instagram. whatever it is. Yeah man they they definitely sa- put him in it. You know. cincinnati they got some crew fans man. You know misery loves company going to everybody doing man. I just was happy to embrace their fan base that they came along the cancer the page and man they. They've been put support if they win. You know depending on the other hand shoot them. Do they not winning. Other thing is a blessing to get away in wisdom. The best with washington. Lucy goes from here

Did Washington Do Enough to Push Dallas in the NFC?
"Did washington football teams teamers and the giants do enough to push dallas in the nfc. So i left philly out. I don't yeah. I just don't i am found anyone who really thinks they're going to be competitive. I mean let's wait and see got jalen whatever. But that's a team that they're not really fun to talk about. Because their free agency considered like stripping you know but i mean they did sign at harris for like nothing which is probably better sightings but what you have in jalen also you serianni. Yes hundred percent but washington in york both very active and did interesting. Things i think are worth discussing because dallas after the dak prescott deal was finally done. They've kind of made a few moves around the margins adding kia neil. Getting tied as kind of swing. Tackle still have question marks at adra sure and coroner but washington like i think they might have had my favorite free agency or at least the one that i'm most excited to see. I don't know payoff on the field. So just to recap. They signed the aforementioned ryan fitzpatrick one year. Ten million dollars. They tag branch eff. Who's there Pro bowler guard. They signed william jackson from the bengals. Cornerback three years. Forty two million dollars and then added panthers wide receiver. Curtis samuel for three years thirty four point five million dollars so just starting like let's start here. Do you agree with me like do you. Do you like what they did. And do you think it makes them an actual competitor in the division. A really like what. Washington did You know. I think among the guys among the quarterback that they could get because not only were they never in it for russell wilson or or wherever really going to be competitive for shawn watson You had to start looking okay. We'll what's realistic. And it's the ryan fitzpatrick coming off his best his career. It's an andy dalton and whereas that really gonna lead you I think that there was a lot of interest in marcus. Mariota he still is not able to sign with another team because the raiders are still holding him hostage But so. I like the quarterback. Move because you're essentially saying let's build up the team the and let's have the strongest team possible around the quarterback position where we don't sell out just because we have to for that position free agency. Maybe they make a move at the draft for a guy that they have their eye on. Or maybe they just say let's. Let's keep the boat floating this year and let's make our move Next free agency. So i thought that they probably overpaid by million or two on curtis samuel. But they wanted him And and ron rivera really likes them. Obviously william jackson an incredible deal You look around and you need another pass rusher and they can they can probably keep ryan kerrigan as a third down specialist if he comes down off his number end so you know he's he's still doing that. He's gonna get paid a whole lot of money. I'm not sure that that money is really out there especially at this point in free agency so they didn't want to mortgage their future for for quarterback right. Now they wanted to keep the boat afloat. I that and so. I like what they have done. Specially on evens. Then when you consider the the sort of offense and the pre-snap that they can have with all those offensive playmakers. Now that curtis annuals there with terry corn. I really like with done.
Myths And Realities Of America's Rural Economy
"Economists benghazi. Laurie says the first rule about rural america is that there is no rural america. Like fight club except with cow. I was saying that's that's not actually what he said. What do you actually said was this. There's so many different parts of rural america that it's a misnomer to actually categorize all on one monolithic theme. Bend means is that rural. america is not one thing. It's more like a collection of rural communities each with different economies with different strengths and problems and different characteristics and binga says one of the best ways to see this is to look at the racial ethnic makeup of the people who live in each of these rural communities if for example throughout much of middle america including the big farming areas more than nine out of ten people are white and for all of rural america. Roughly eight out of ten people are white. Now that's definitely higher than the six out of ten people who were white in the us overall but bengals very point is these figures mask. A lot of demographic diversity in the individual rural communities for example here are some estimates from his own analysis. And so if you look at our break down just a regional breakdown. Americans in rural areas in northeast is only about two percent in the mid west. But what a half percent in west. It's even smaller. It's under one percents. But in the south it is sixteen point. Six percent so the population of african americans in the rural south is greater than it is in a national one. Benji says that's why this part of rural america in the south is often referred to as the black belt. There's also the rural parts of the great plains states that have a high share of native americans living in them like in new mexico and montana. Plus there is rural hispanic centers in south west and west like in arizona and california and in all three of these regions. There is a smaller share of white residents than there is in the us overall. And that's why banca says it's a myth that rural america is all white. The second myth that needs to go bunga says is it. The rural american economy is all about farming and the extraction of natural resources like mining. These are definitely still important sectors. But they're far from the biggest. So service sector. Employment is the largest sector in rural communities. And it's been like that for a long time. In most rural communities the combined services education and health care and social assistance employed the most people in fact these sectors employ roughly the same share of people throughout rural america as in the rest of the country about twenty three percent in a lot of rural counties. A local school system or the hospital for example is the single biggest employer and even in rural towns that originally depended on a different industry or on a different employer. These services naturally sprung up around those industries to complement them says banca bow meat packing plants and in the twentieth century. Early part of twentieth century. Me packing plants were prevalent in urban areas. But they start to move out into smaller towns to become kind of like that one employer to town. Another example is automobile industry Move from the north moving down south to mississippi and alabama. A lot of it is to take advantage of the low wage labor market and the lack of united nation and so this is actually has pushed these rural economies away from agriculture. To service sector. This is also why it's a big deal. When the one hospital in a rural town closes there might just not be many other employers left plus it means that residents of that town have to look further out to access healthcare. This is especially a problem in places like the black belt where there's been a huge increase in the number of hospitals that have closed over the last few decades and finally myth number three that needs busting bunga says is the idea that rural america is dying or destined for permanent decline but in fact some parts of rural america are thriving about one out of every three rural counties has enjoyed strong population growth in recent decades with their populations actually peaking as they headed into the last decade. That's according to the latest data. Unfortunately that's also roughly the same share of rural counties that are depopulating about one out of every three rural counties has lost more than twenty five percent of its population since nineteen fifty. The populations of these counties are aging partly because so many young adults of childbearing age are leaving for the cities and suburbs in search of job opportunities and for these counties this kind of fishes cycle consenting people leaving means there's less money for taxes and investment to provide the amenities and services that people want and so more people leave which means the tax base drops again and so on and this is one reason why incomes are lower and poverty rates are higher in rural america then in the rest of the country but nothing about this cycle is inevitable it can be slowed or even reversed and says even in some communities where the population looked like. It would be in permanent decline. There have been success stories especially in the places that have a lot of immigration as so you have a lot of people. Immigrants coming in to work meat. Meatpacking plant manufacturing places. The other thing is that a lot of immigration From other areas in terms of people coming to the us for becoming doctors lawyers things like that a higher education and income communities. So you think about the mid west. There's like a population of say vietnamese and brass or these areas or like the monk population in minnesota that these places do not struggle as much with population loss because they're welcoming immigrants and that helps them to not only just having people there but then these people start stores or start their own business. So we see a lot of that entrepeneurship self-employment that's helping to keep that area of vibrant. Finally bengals primary message here. Is that people who live in cities and suburbs should not think of rural america is a place that's in decline in needs help instead. They should be turning to rural america as a place that's experienced a wide diversity. Economic challenges and triumphs and therefore as a place to find ideas for how to address the big socio economic issues of the day like climate change trade immigration education healthcare. Pretty much. all of them

And i'm hoping that this episode might be a bit of a masterclass in social media. Because that's exactly what you do and it's such a hot topic right now. yeah well. It's definitely bain evolving and. I don't think anyone has been left unscathed in the last couple of months after what happened. We faithful and aluminium. So i'm really looking forward to maybe reigniting some of the things that i have talked about in the past and we'll take giving people some new tapes that they might be able to employ. They haven't thought of now. But i'm so happy that we got some of Prop twenty out there. The law greats fake is knows a lot of preparation that went into one event. Like that until only really get victoria in adelaide done before everyone else unfortunately got canned. I'm it was a real shame. And i hope everyone has actually digested some of that content in its digital form. Go out online. Yeah absolutely and i think a lot of paper would actually naive from that as well because in our area i did put all the sessions up online and before we get into today just in case. People aren't familiar with you in the work that you deal. They have been under a rock and haven't been digital live or any of those things. Can you just start a little bit with who you work with the help and how you help them. I have eighty marketing. Mind tie career and that's agency side marketing. And i was very fortunate that i was one of the digital leads for admiral. Which is our advertising citation. So the last ten years. I write they three months. The ticket greg polls and toll shit by evening classes. Dye cloth changed by the time. I'd written the content and ice to take about a thousand people a year including in-house training. And what that led me to his teaching for. Rei teaching lots of different real estate groups. And that will take me anywhere from stabia ray. Len lice stockland mirvac three to all of our residential and commercial real estate agencies. Mcgraw ri- watt bill property And everyone in between non-organic rattled them off. But i started to work in real estate miceli because i was educating siles paypal in how to sell digital solutions and that tending to let's take the agents halliday's digital solutions works that they can understand what some of the best opportunities Still run training programs in house with someone like lane. Lice of the becca covered the face to face national ride. Shy got cancelled. Tweet is in studio with a program. That's now launched. Globally means that people are still investing in their ongoing training and learning. And what we need to remember. Is it changes really quickly and without notice. And if the media bargaining card didn't heartfully get everyone on the same page with that in the last couple of weeks. Last month than i will learn after that i know right. So let's talk about that for a moment because we were banned in amongst a whole lot of other people in real estate i mean even the portals couldn't escape so real estate dot com the you demand dot com that a you for us. Facebook was down the list of our traffic sources but it did upset me that people couldn't share their good news or malate when someone gets a new job or when someone gets an award they couldn't share any that they couldn't share their properties on social media which was a bit of a big deal. So what was your experience when facebook banned the news basically because you would have had a lot of clients who were affected ideas and there's a few things that come with that firstly it was indiscriminate. It wasn't just use science. We all saw that the hillsides whether the government related or not. They absolutely went down but a mustard factory was taken down. One of construction clients was taken down. It's a win. A rhyme or reason to who was peaked on an really came down to that was a bit of a powerplay. Dying on zuckerberg wanted us. I really you wanna play. This guy will guess what bengals the button you don. Hey let's play the right game. Sorry it did come down to. What was the definition of media within facebook and also what category some people had picked their business stink to bay under
NFL cuts expected to be a ‘massacre,’ ‘bloodbath’ next week
"We are on the fringe. We're nearing free agency. Actually just read a very interesting to tweet about a nfl coach. Saying that next week was gonna be a bloodbath. with the cap situation Do the covid that it's going to be a very interesting year. A lot of people are going to be getting cut prior to free agency to free up room. So we'll see what happens In you know the free agents were talking about might not even be like the big guys you know we end up signing at the end of the day so one big name we have been talking about and you specifically talked about this guy. Quite a bit is joni From new england the patriots are not going to use the franchise on him again. They can't do it. They they're cap situation would allow forward. I believe but with what you end up making the second time around. It really doesn't make any sense to them. As i was listening to boston. Sports radio their day like they were talking about that. Very topic so loonies. He's a big name. being fans. Love is a big often. Attack was out there And they've got to think about bringing their own guys. Back to william jackson in kara lawson entering free agency. So that's a big big names in some big money right there. What what can really afford to do. So that you you hit the list You hit you hit the big players. They're they have of course two big guys. Internally that are scheduled to be free agents in jackson and lawson one of those may end up getting the franchise tag. Probably the non-exclusive. If i had a bad at this point i'd probably say it's carl lawson and and we don't know the exact figures yet but they'll come out soon what the values will be But it's based position and since deandre get paid a little bit more than corners. Speed deanne tag is going to be a little higher. But i think that's a cost of the bengals are willing to take just to avoid the risk of losing carl. Potentially at an already weakened spot you know masterpass russia's spin has been existent Especially last year And i think room on bengals dot com had a couple of comments today from an article today saying they're looking to shore up the pass rush and he didn't mention actually edge rusher cement of course interior pressure which was good to see liu mentioned and we can talk about some interior linemen. Who are going to be on the market that could provide some interior. Pass rush to collapse the pocket if you will but to your question about what. They can't afford i. There is a way for them to structure these contracts with the amount of space that they have available. Of course we don't know what official cap will be just like we don't know what the tag amounts are going to be. We don't really know the final numbers quite yet. We know the cap can't go below one eighty But let's assume it stays right at that floor. I been under the working on the assumption that it's going to creep up to one eighty five rather optimistically but who knows if it gets that high. Is you mentioned kobe. Kobe tope took all essentially all the local revenues that these teams generated and made it two zero for almost all of them. There are some teams based on the cities and state. They were in that allowed some attendance. That really you know. It was a small percentage of what a normal season would be. So they're sitting in a good spot. Relatively speaking in terms of current cap space. There are about thirty seven million once you account for the almost eleven million. They rolled over last year. So at that point if they just stay there. They're they're currently line to be seventh most in cap space and that's a lot to work with in terms just resigning those guys internally and then going out on the market for tuning type of player ariba some more mid tier guys in the bond bell mold last year. You know a more of a modest deal where you get a lot of value in that regard but if they ended up staying put without making cuts and being seventh and cap space that gives them a lot of flexibility. But i think to your earlier point. We are gonna start seeing a lot more cut. We started seeing some today. There were some report. I think gave jackson the right guard for the raiders is not. There's a report that they they're looking to trade their right tackle trent brown. If they can't find a trade partner they'll likely cut him too. So the market's going to be flooded. It's going to be starting to be flooded. It's going to be even more so and on the bengals and they're likely to make some calm cap cuts. They don't need to make them because they have plenty of room. But just the value is not there to keep some of these guys on the books. You know the names. Bobby heart which will save just under five point nine million. Bj phinney will save three and a quarter million with no dead money and then of course geno atkins. We've talked about the gino situation Pretty at length and the question will be whether they released him. Post june one or or designated or releasing prior to june one or designate him or our releasing post you one which adds a little bit more savings to it but if you cut those three guys even if you don't cut gino with a post june one designation that adds about nine million in addition In additional cap space. So if you had that. Nineteen to thirty seven. Obviously naira almost sixty million and fifty six million give or take And that would baltim- in the top five of capital so they have a lot of flexibility to enter the long-term extensions with both their internal free and to go out on the market and signs of sizeable Upgrades hopefully on the offense line and positions that they they really need to
Inside The Russell Wilson-Seahawks Rift
"Years russell. Wilson has been wanting to throw the ball more and at the start of this year. It finally happened russell. Wilson was not good in the first half of the twenty twenty season. He was excellent deep cap touchdown. Seattle you run down there and set in his answer. Any better than that was fourth in yards per attempt. Weeks one through nine i. In passing. touchdown percentage was second in passer rating. Wilson keeps as default talk. He was legit. The best player in the league madden gave him a ninety nine overall rating during the season because he was cooking notion as he throws an accident. Edi feeds defensive player of the years like russell. Lula's legitimately the best guy in football games of the season then week nine arrived and they had this game against the buffalo bills that you recently wrote about. Can you tell us what happened in that game. And afterwards what happened is russell had to cook in the kitchen. Just kind of just caught on. Fire his paycheck wine with a sack at a takeaway from russell wilson. I actually watched that game with a former cr defensive and cliff april and teased talking me through it. And he's like russ's off he's trying to do too much and i think turned it over like four times. He threw a pick on the goal. Line throws for the jordan with tyco. I think that really turned the tables for the whole team. After that loss where they gave up forty four points and turned it over a bazillion times and got embarrassed in buffalo. Well what i would tell you that. I don't recognize that game. We haven't seen the look like that and it's a game that i don't have any place in my brain for. He told us he didn't even have any space in his brain for that game. That's very important subjects right like the fact that he considered that not seahawks. Football was influential the rest of the year. Well the following week against the rams things. I guess only got worse. Wilson throws and the other one four darius williams second game. I know that there are better days ahead. I'll use a baseball now but sometimes you go up to the plate you know and you don't have your way today mike. You and our colleagues. Mike sando jason jank's wrote about a meeting. That happened shortly after that loss to the rams can you take us inside that meeting room and just explain what went down russia's meeting with the coaches normal game planning type of meeting and he has suggestions he is giving input usually does and his suggestions just weren't dismissed. There were dismissed in a way that russell didn't feel appreciate it. And i think that is really important. I'm sure they disagree in every meeting ever but in this particular instance rust belt that he was not being appreciated so rushed stormed out was basically this idea that. How dare anyone in this building. Be dismissive of my ideas. I am of the quarterback was almost like kevin durant warriors when he was like no way up. I'm kevin durant russell wilson and he rustled perceives him to be someone who has succeeded. In spite of what's been around him not because of running for his life making the pro bowl with battle lines perceive that to be like the story of his career. And you get to week eleven. And it's like do. Just chill out. We got this no. You don't don't get it. I got it and that forced him out the door. Russell in the second half of the season was which is not himself like he was twenty eighth in yards per attempt in his final eight games he was sixteenth. In a touchdown percentage nineteenth in passer rating. These are bad numbers. These are not just like below average twenty nine yards per attempt man that was lower than the cincinnati bengals. Even when the circumstances are bad around russell he's been good enough to elevate situation still played inefficient level and twenty twenty was the first time it was like. Wow he's not able to elevate the lack of talent or execution of preparation around him and it produced like some of the worst numbers of his career certainly produced the worst playoff game of his career against the rams in the wild round sitting meeting big. Who's going into other sack four sacks two takeaways the interception return for the touchdown and floyd now all right. Let's fast forward a few weeks to the super bowl. The seahawks have been knocked out by the rams in the wildcard round and russell. Wilson is at super bowl. Fifty five in tampa bay sitting with none other than commissioner. Roger goodell mike. Tell us what you found in your reporting about russell. Wilson's experience at the super bowl. You know it's really interesting. Because i tweeted during the super bowl. That antonio brown caught a touchdown from tom brady in front of russell. Wilson there is the pass for the touchdown. What drive a super bowl. Winning drive that brady's only done throughout his whole career. I kind of just said it like star cast the as a joke. Not really thinking about how russell fell and then as our reporting i was like okay so i i was right like he is really upset. And it's so many factors. There is the fact that tom brady is in. The super bowl is the fact tom. Brady's they're playing pine. A good line is the fact that tom brady is playing in a system. That gives him some atonomy like got to pick players gronk. Antonio brown is the fact that mahomes is there again laying for again in a system that like essentially like his talents. The last time also played in the super bowl loss of tom brady seven years later prime many years. Tom brady's back. I suppose in a soup. Kitchen fuming so during the superbowl. He's texting his quarterback coach. And just close. Friend jake heaps. He's a local radio guy. Here jake to set it on the radio. He's talking about how russ was missed during the game texting him. They'll look the he had was in reflective of the text messages. I was receiving russell wilson. Just ultimately the overall sentiment was that he was mad that he was not lying in this thing and then russell spoke to the shortly after the game show. What's up with our line. You see that. Winning requires a good line and the gist of peace response. As far as i was told is about faith. And just you know we got this. And that just wasn't good enough for us

And i believe including aircraft of course and i imagine that you have been collecting analyzing the performance data of your engines for that case and in fact i see from one of your rolls royce presentation that you have been collecting data for some seventy trillion data points across twenty-sixth dimensions on your engines. So i think our listeners will be interested to know how you been. Harnessing that power data to make sense of this of information and into insight and action. And i believe in many ways is supplying the data to a machine learning throughout the life cycle of the engine from the initial stage of designed to manufacturing to maintenance repair. Health monitoring system but service w. lunch to back in nineteen ninety nine and our ai. Capabilities are deeply embedded into products and services so they aren't visible And not widely. Now we're able to monitor six thousand to eight thousand flights every day which is equivalent to monitoring three thousand engines in the sky at any one time so we have multiple sensors on board that continuously relay inflammation with were able to analyze five million data promises from our engines every day and we used to provide insights to our engineers for future development and services that we provide for our customers. But it's not just about the asian and the behavioral for engines. Current work includes applying a with a dedicated team that we have inside rolls royce school the day to labs to improve the risk management in supply chains predict market demand improved the efficiency of our operations and more recently nepal systems. Father of the business. We've been applying a on microbes making our industrial powered technology more reliable and sustainable and in the future we see a. I will continue to evolve. Play a bigger role especially as we saw increasing use of cloud based services which will be governed by data ethics framework and this becomes really essential and today more than two hundred projects that are starting to apply more and more of Framework so

Steelers HC Mike Tomlin hopes his team isn’t confident after loss
"Mike. Tomlin was in front of the podium. The virtual podium for add a thing. Well just we just talked to him next because the steelers had just lost twenty seven to seventeen against the cincinnati bengals on monday night football. Might tom had spoken to the media after the game. Obviously until on tuesday on a short week leeann week sixteen. The pittsburgh steelers absolutely need a win. And mike tomlin had a lot of questions to answer as the steelers. Prepare for the indianapolis colts to come to heinz field in the season. Finale there at the big ketchup bottle. He started things off of the recap of the cincinnati bengals game. He said the loss still stings. The steelers simply just have to perform better but he also mentioned that some things about team went from bad to worse and he was mainly talking about the team's poor starts. He talked about three turnovers in the first half essentially spotting the bengals seventeen points. He said it wasn't just the offense though. The defense failed to get the the bengals the field even with those turnovers. They never forced field goals. They must they gave up fourteen points in the last two turnovers. He's just a very poor start to the game. He said the score that the steelers face the way that they wanted to operate offensively. They couldn't lean on the run the whether they wanted to. He said the nonetheless with all of that said in his bad as the team was. He's vans cannot expect sweeping changes. He's a they just have to do it better when he meant it. He's talking about he. S to the steelers have to perform better. They have to plan better. He is still confident. You can't expect the head coach. The same thing different. He is still confident in this football team with the coaches that they have they. They need to shut their mails and go to work
Interview With Marla Beck of bluemercury
"Everyone welcome superwomen. Today's guest. I'm very excited. Talk you a superfan. And i haunt her location near my office frequently marla who is the co founder and ceo behind plumer the nation's largest and fastest growing luxury beauty retailer and spa in the country. So hello and welcome. I thank you for having me. I am super fan of you. Also so the feeling is mutual. So i would love to kind of go back to the beginning because i know you were acquired but i would love to go through kind of the initial idea that you had for blue mercury and your skin care lines but where did you start off. So i actually grew up in. California was a junkie. There were little beauty shops. Where people made handmade things in berkeley which is about five minutes from where i grew up and when i was in high school is a new brand called german logica and so i always knew what was new on what was going on in beauty When i moved east to go to graduate school in boston a chance to drive forty five minutes. Divide act lipstick which was only sold at bengals in one place and on top of that it was the beginning of the i e commerce bom in fact we had just gotten our own email addresses and google and all the search and all the businesses that are here today did not exist. There was an obscure moore came to business school to talk about his business. He was talking about how he was going to bring books to the internet. And i was completely floored. jeff bezos. Only thirty people came to his talk. I was inspired by this new potential world out there that i couldn't even imagine and so started to think about what products i could bring to. The internet moved to dc after grad school and started blue mercury to bring luxury beauty products to the internet so initially inspired by jeff bezos in my obsession with beauty and we were one of the first to bring brands to the internet. Act of nineteen ninety. Nine week quickly realized that were too early. Not everybody was shopping online in fact everybody was on. Aol dial up and it used to take forever to get online and so we were just too early with that idea and so we pivoted and i laugh because were pivot didn't exist then we we were actually. Almost bankrupt realized we needed to do something different. And so we opened our first beauty store in washington. Dc georgetown back then you could only buy cosmetics at drugstores or department stores. There was no such thing as a free standing beauty store and We thought why not create this environment. Where staff were trained in all france where you could touch and feel products and that You could get makeup application and spa services in one place if you think back to them and i know a lot of people up did not shout back then who may be listening but everything was behind glass counters at department stores and you go up to the counter and ask someone to touch things to try things and i was in my twenties and i felt like no one really wanted to help me because i will spend money so this idea. The freestanding neighborhood beauty store was revolutionary at the time. And i remember i was so happy. Our first clients used to come in and screaming that they could touch products find find obscure brands get advice on a bunch of brands in their beauty problems and also get spa services in the same location as so now is the start of blue mercury. We wrote a bunch of different ways. The ecommerce wave and this move from buying beauty products at at department stores to buy beauty products in specialty stores so it was really the beginning and it took us a long time to build business. I've been at it for twenty one years so excited to have been building blue mercury for all that time. I love that. What seems as an overnight success to people when they read about your acquisition is like oh no. I've been doing this for twenty one years. I almost went bankrupt. You know it just goes to show you. And i and i. I like to talk about that. Because i think people think that i'm an overnight success and i've been doing this for twenty years. Now there's a lot of blocking and tackling around and usually your initial idea is completely wrong right. I think you have to have humility to realize that you're wrong. You need to change directions and we were humble in the first year pretty quickly and made. It's really sort of try to deal in truth and build a real business that had value for customer saying i think we got caught up in the first internet craze and it was exciting and fun and then we realized that we had to spend our time knowing and understanding what people want what they need and beauty and then just really took our time building the business and building an enduring company so when you were faced with bankruptcy being too early to the e com days how did you guys have the bravery or even funds to open your first brick and mortar. It's it's a great question. In fact we had received investment for the e commerce business and our investors hated the idea of doing a store because back then all value was pure play e commerce. And so my husband. I barry actually used our own money to do the first store.
Bengals ride big first half to shocking win over Steelers
"This Steelers wasted a chance to clinch the AFC north title by falling to the struggling Bengals twenty seven seventeen Giovani Bernard scored two touchdowns while Cincinnati was building a seventeen nothing halftime lead quarterback Ryan Finley completed just seven passes for eighty nine yards but his twenty three yard TD run early in the fourth quarter all but sealed it at the Bengals handed the Steelers their third straight loss since eleven or no start Ben Roethlisberger completed twenty of his thirty eight passes for one hundred seventy yards with a touchdown and an interception I'm Dave Ferrie
A.J. Green keeps future with Bengals up in the air: 'Who knows what is going to happen?'
"Green had a decent game yesterday He after the game was Noncommittal about his future is going to help him with that. Aj thank you. i love you. You're going to be thirty three years old next year. See it's not here not here. I mean this is. This is not something that's franchise should have to wrestle with. I do think you referenced atkins before. I do think one of the most interesting off season questions is do they move on from a guy who played a whopping seven snaps yesterday and they are roughly thirty million dollars to over the next two years. Do they move on tough. How do you not you have to start moving on from old bed players. You're your goal for the next. Three games should be to figure out who you on this roster that you can go with. It's not no atkins gino watkins. It's not going to be jay green next year them. We just we just let go of back in two thousand fifteen. They were good because for years. It seems like that's driven. The strategy gives them rewards player but andrew. Whitworth give your young lineman chance. Give some linebackers chanson and go from that. You have to figure out what you have. At some capacity because of all the whole we just mentioned in the last segment with the new england patriots cling to jeans seconds to about the current state of their team which is not great but would they cling to gino atkins. Because it used to be good a long time ago no or because. They felt like they owed him something with the pittsburgh. Steelers no with the baltimore ravens with lynn. The san francisco forty nine know what. Zack taylor's old teams. Move on move on from expense. Ami did it last year underperforming players. The dolphins were oh and seven and tanking moved on. Yes people what are they taking doing this publicly. Okay there now. Competing there in the playoff hunt. They went toe to toe with the chiefs. Like they're in a better position. I think there's a place in the nfl for jay green. I do on like a two year deal green bay or something. I don't know that there's a place in the nfl for gino acts
Dallas Cowboys Defense Steps Up With 3 Turnovers To Get Win In Andy Dalton’s Return To Cincinnati
"Cowboys you know. Obviously the thing got away and and they tried to cincinnati. Try to get back in. But ed to put this perspective. I mean the the you've talked about all year that the cowboys are horrific at like scoring off of turnovers and they barely ever do it. And all of that kind of thing. It almost looked like they were going to score on their first drive a touchdown something. They haven't done all season. Something they hold with like the broncos. Maybe other one other really horrible team perhaps cincinnati. They haven't scored. They have not scored a touchdown their first drive all season. That continued the cowboys. Were not able to score a touchdown. But ed i mean to score seventeen points off three turnovers. They caused that. That was remarkable stuff. Even against the hapless Bengals considering or the cowboys had been while is only the second time in the last two decades of the cowboys have gotten a takeaway on each of their first three defensive possessions. Last time it happened was twenty thirteen against the giants when they had two interceptions. A fumble recovery on the giants. I three possession. So that was manning. I guess But yeah pretty impressive that this this comes obviously in a week. After which mike mccarthy made a he basically said they quit last week. You know we remember. We talked about the easy money touchdown at the end of the game that there was just there. Were too many guys who once again just like in. The cleveland game could easily be accused of not giving full effort. And mike mccarthy said he brought that subject up this week to this team
LSU football self-imposes 1-year bowl ban
"Last year's playoff of course one by the bayou bengals lsu self imposing a one year bowl ban for this season could have something to do with the fact that there are three and five and going nowhere. So let's just get this out of the way. This is all about an investigation improper booster payments to football players. Although they've got another issue percolating as well. There have been some problems off the field for the tigers. No doubt

"Dot com not the Bengals released this statement earlier today for my grand if you missed it we did we did like an impromptu well we go to sports talk weather delay I was on I'm gonna say from I in a in the range of like four to five o'clock somewhere in that range because all the sudden the the UC game which was rather whether threatening from the start date they told everybody off the field clear the stands so the players to the locker rooms and I it became like Birmingham banana phone I had coverage back here in the studio for about an hour as we broke into tales of saying why should it was really really good memories and story sharing of same white and we went back to football and now we get to wrap things up until nine o'clock tonight but the Bengals released this earlier today a from Mike brown on the passing of Sam quote same was a wonderful guy we got to know him as both a player and a coach as our coach a great success and took us to the Superbowl he was friends with everyone here both during his tenure as head coach and afterwards we not only liked him we admire him as a man he had a great generosity of spirit in live his life trying to help others we express our condolences to Jane says wife and his children Zach in Kerry and I believe a six grand kids as well but I am not I heard the news as I was driving into the station as I said it hit me in the you know your heart sings like all but as I am completing the drive from independence the Kenwood I think I'm gonna like making mental notes in logging stuff in my head I'm going to talk about and I found myself laughing it laughing out loud because of so many different stories I thought about when it came to Sam Y. H. N. at the impact the on the bangles and had on this city and that you know you don't live in Cleveland you live in Cincinnati to that the feud with Jerry Glanville too just the the creativity offense of Lee the the Seattle Seahawks in buffalo bill so miffed with that sugar huddle in in Joe gnashing can Clark falling down and faking injuries trying to buy time for the defense to make substitution I'm Sam after games before game stopping by a homeless shelters and helping provide food when he came on the show that the stories he would tell his dog named blue was always barking in the background in it he would tell jokes and he had the one lines in the quips in the he was a comedian I'd forgotten till I went back and I look today I I remembered same on the TV side of course he teamed up with Marv Albert on NBC then he moved into the studio for the pre game and halftime I forgot the same waste indie games for CBS with Kevin Harlan indeed game is CBS in ninety eight ninety nine in the two thousand and then he lost his voice remember the procedure snip the vocal cord it can cause problems the rest of his life and of course he had a heart transplant in twenty sixteen and it had it had been doing well in what was bicycling a lot even after the heart transplant in and it enjoyed it is grand son playing football at Moeller and then you get the news today and it's just man it it it hits ya but you think of all that he did in this city and all that he did it in the NFL the coach of the last Bengals team to win a playoff game in nineteen ninety one one of two Super Bowl appearances coach.

"No impact on it and or do you foresee green getting signed <hes> probably not to this to to a four year deal but do you see him getting signed to something this summer because that's what bengals like to take care of these types of things and I wouldn't necessarily role for you got last time because he's got one more year so just be technically a five-year deal with four years new money but besides I do think that just their communication throughout this process as airtight and I think boy coming to agreement with this I believe he said he told green is like one of the first few he told once <hes> the thing was official official on Monday so they've been entitled medications throughout the entire process. I don't think that would be so <hes> you know excited to sign deal early without having any inclination that there wasn't any progress going on with green steel obviously there they working on that I would assume simultaneously along point because I was just kind of do things but they just can't agreement void I because like you said he sees he's cheaper in his younger aims probably of high priority with that but everything that we've heard about green and just his featuring Cincinnati just means that the ideals <unk> deals going to happen and you can probably get some solid on that they don't really make mistakes from this point on to the to the beginning of the season in terms of extensions of the handouts so I do think that boy and influence with from green he he has confidence that he's GonNa stay here knows probably a little the part of his decision but also this is about the best deal that Boyd <unk> accepted that this could for seen from the bengals itself anything more than the ten point seven five million. I think he got on average. I WanNa see the guaranteed because the guaranteed numbers that I don't think the contract is up on <unk> or anything but it'll be interesting to see how the money is <unk> parlayed over the next couple couple years imagine it's probably acted in that sense because because he is younger but <hes> yeah I do think that the <unk> boy in that sense but also Boyd <hes> you know wanted to be here with green in wouldn't have signed the contract if he wasn't at to some degree very confident that green wasn't also winning offered something in the near future obviously green has you know is on the same page with a front runoff isn't that he wants to be here in. I have no doubt of the deal like that is going to happen in the very near future yeah and I think I think Cincinnati Bengals <hes> probably learned some lessons the hard way in the twenty seventeen seventeen off season when they lost a guy like Andrew Whitworth and Kevin Styler two guys at Wor <hes> you know stalwarts on on offense <hes> I I Kinda WanNa ask you this. I guess if the optimist in me wants is to think that this contract Tyler Boyd wanting to stay in Cincinnati is more than just the money <hes> yeah he got paid while he got paid probably market value in terms of average <hes> average her average money per year but the the I duNNo. I guess I look at it and I I'm thinking you know. Is this something that we can point a two point Zach Taylor and say this is a guy who specifically signed this deal because he likes the direction of things he likes the direction of the way the offense is going so that he will get his stats rats and he feels that this team can win in the near future. <hes> you know the money the money's the money and you know I think I think that he signed a deal because of that but is there maybe the end alterior motive but maybe a thought on his end saying you know things are moving in positive direction here. Yeah I think there is that on both sides were because he said that the bengals learn a lesson by you know they're. They're not GonNa let a guy like Woodworth..

"I'm not a fan of trading up for it backup quarter who's it'd be a backup quarterback. I'm not a fan of giving up picks to do that. Even if they really liked him. Even if he supposedly blew them away in their interviews of him, which reportedly was the case, even though. The tape while there's a lot of good. There are some there's some issues there on in terms of, you know, kind of throwing balls into tight windows, and those windows of become a little tighter the next level. So, you know, there there are issues with that. I'm going to say this though, John regarding Finley. I thought about it. And we've talked a long time. And when the pick was made McShane was loved Ryan Finley. He's he's I think he thought it was he was the third or fourth best quarterback in this class. Mcshea was all over him. And he thought it was great pick on in round four. And they kept saying, well, you know, if they wanna move away from Andy Dalton, you know, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We talk about in in the Finley move. Make no mistake about it. The Finley selection is not a he's going to replace any Dalton twenty nineteen that that is not happening at all what I do see potentially happening. There's two there's two major benefits that I see here number one. There have been times in recent years where the Bengals have lost Andy Dalton. He's been pretty durable guy is entire career with the exception of basically two seasons. He's actually the only time he's missed ever is been because of thumb issues as a rookie in twenty fifteen. And last year. So I that's kind of a free place to. Yeah. So. The. The Bengals put forth the notion to the fans and everybody that they think, and this is why they weren't overly active in free agency that they think if there are injured if their arts injuries. They'll be fine. They haven't of talent they'll be in the hunt. It'll be in the mix. My thing is I you know, I don't I didn't really buy into that. But. I think Ryan Finley as of today can do some of the things that Andy Dalton can do. And I think the drop off from Dalton defintely is far far less than Dalton to Jeff Driscoll at this point. And so my thing is if don't goes down in twenty nineteen this is one of the things I think Finley could come in and not go one in five one in six on stretch. And maybe carry the Bengals to eight nine seven type of playoff berths type of record. Maybe I just see see more benefit as a backup in an emergency situation there. The other thing we talk about antidote and being a bridge guy in twenty nineteen and and maybe even twenty twenty than they draft their guy twenty twenty and you know, Dalton plays basically the next two years in. That's that. I as mcshea mentioned there is no there is. Dead money on cutting any Dalton next year..

"But because they underachieve last year mostly because of injuries I only wanted to enter team because they were quite by injuries last year kind of do their season. So I think the Bengals have being overlooked. I think that the casual San if. They were picking a team ranked? Now, look certainly the Browns or they didn't have enough Ilyushin either want. But that that being said that doesn't mean that the goes are as bad as people are making them out to be. I don't think anyone is really swing than they in anywhere. Besides fourth in the division. And I don't think it has to go cadets written in stone that they're gonna finish last in the division. This coming season. Dogma James or pain of ninety two three the fan in Cleveland. Good to have him on the show. It's been been a while. And it has been so long since we've had you on the show James that there is a coaching regime now, you spent a coaching regime change that is you spent some time I spent considerable time around the Bengals and Marvin Lewis, and you know, how the team operates and operated under Louis. You haven't really spent the time with this new coaching staff that's in place. But I, you know, you still have a great pulse on the team based on what what they did this off season, which is, you know, kind of their MO stick with a lot of the guys they know couple of outside players resigned their own and seeing the needs that they have here. What do you see them doing in the first couple of rounds this weekend coming up in terms of positions may be players? All that. Good stuff. Yeah. I the Bengals very good spot because at eleven you're going to get a premium Cowan..

That's now in the past and the Bengals are looking to move on from Marvin Lewis and a possible new head coach. And you know, there's some there's some questions and comments try and get to here. I love this. When curious how the players feel by Michael Myers in our live YouTube jet. That's that's interesting because yesterday I was thinking back. I don't know if you remember this or not. But there was a time in a believe it was gosh win was it. They were interviewing Giovanni Bernard. A couple of years ago. I believe it was last year. I can't really remember. It was one of those times where Marvin Lewis dot in extension came back. And they literally broke the news to Bernard on camera. And of course, he was cordial, and oh, really that's cool. Okay. Marvins back, but he wasn't overly jubilant at least not in a. In a moment that seemed to be pretty candid and surprising to him. So I'm I'm curious to know what the Bengals plans are if you're the Bengals players mindsets. Are if you remember also for those of you who follow on Twitter if you follow Carlos Dunlap on Twitter there were a couple of seasons. Especially in twenty believe it's twenty sixteen twenty seventeen. Now this this year, he couldn't really complain. Does. He got a big contract. But in twenty sixteen he put out some cryptic tweets that kinda questioned what the Bengals were doing in terms of free agency helping the team in all of that Marvin Lewis, obviously kinda one of the spearheads of what they were doing or weren't doing in those in those in those facets, so. I think for a lot of those players. I think they liked Marvin Lewis, you know, you saw at the end of twenty seventeen they didn't give up. They had some nice wins at the end of that year. They played hard even though they were decimated. They played hard against the Steelers in week seventeen this year that played hard against the chargers few weeks ago. They played you know, they didn't really give up on mar Louis. They wanted to play for him. But I think I think everybody is kinda like, well, maybe the Louis himself. Maybe it's just all around almost a sense of relief in saying, you know, at this is this is what needs to happen. I got this. Let's see I got this. It was a tweet to me basically asking do. I think that the next coach the Bengals will come. Will this be a Mike Brown higher? Will this be Katie Blackburn higher? Will it be kind of a group higher or or will it still be Mike Brown show? If you remember Mike Brown in a couple of interviews in recent years. He kind of said he's handed off the keys to a bunch of people including Louis, including Katie Blackburn, including Duke Tobin, and he's kind of sat back, and yeah, he's had some say, but he's let them take control. Now Marvin's out of the building. Due Tobin a guy who's been loud for his drafts. Recently is now sitting in it. We're looking at some high picks that have not panned out for the team. So, you know, I'm curious to I think that this will be a Mike Brown higher. I think that he's gonna kind of Sirte more power in. That's that's a little bit. What I'm afraid of with this move from Marvin I think, and I think that's really the only fear is is is not only I guess there's the fear of the unknown in potentially hiring someone that could bring the Bengals back into obscurity. There's also the issue of the bangles potentially a Mike Brown reasserting control and making decisions that are not beneficial to the team. So. And I think that that that might be where we we're headed..

"Everyone. It's that time of the week again where we get together and talk about the Bengals here on the orange black insider bangles podcast were were grateful that you're with us. We hope that you had a great Christmas. We're still coming at you. Even though it's Christmas break for some. It's not really a break for us because there is one season left or one week in the season left for the Cincinnati Bengals as we finish up the twenty eighteen calendar year, my usual co host John here in John. How are you, sir? How was your Christmas? Christmas is good. I probably eat like four thousand calories today. Most of those cookies, so I started my my my newsroom Lucien workout which probably last like three weeks timely saw at least a week ahead of though so ill kinda soon twenty nineteen. So to get in headed right now, are you are you one of those guys that us meatballs despise at the gym. You know, you crowded up in. Throughout january. And then all of a sudden, you're gone by the time, mid February comes around is to be a regular at the gym like when I was in high school, and then I like I was in a car crash. When I got my license. I hit a deer in car crashes, like two months span really scared of driving and like totally disrupted. My gin routine for like my entire like junior high school site really like took a step back. And then I kinda picked the back in college. But I I know how to bench like all right? Anthony, calm down here. All right. Okay. You're you're a veteran of the chest. Oh, I wouldn't like chess day like two weeks in a row just like piss my friends off. Well, we really started this on a jersey shore kind of five starting to show off. But it's good to have you with with with us this week in thanks for, you know, making schedule change in. But appreciate you. You know? Maneuvering John as well as the live listeners here a lot to talk about tonight. We're gonna talk about some of the things we saw from the the loss at the Browns. The Browns sweeping the Bengals for the first time since before Marvin Lewis arrived in Cincinnati. That's kinda big news hour to talk about like I said a couple of things that transpired in that game both from Cleveland player and a bangles player. We're gonna talk a little bit about the Steelers game. We're going to maybe give out a couple of New Year's resolutions for the Bengals that they should be thinking about as the the new year that the ball in Times Square drops they should be. They should be really working hard to remedy things. Twenty nineteen we have a couple of ideas or that. And where it will be taking some listener questions as well. We've already got a couple sent our way if you wanna get your questions indefinitely leave it in the live YouTube chat, you can leave it in the common thread it since he juggled there's opposed up there that you can do that you can get in touch with us via call or. In case, your new can get this show on I tunes on Stitcher on Google play at since he juggled dot com or also on YouTube a in art nineteen so a lot of different platforms for this show. And we appreciate the support. How you give it to us in those variety ways. John Bengals lost to the to the Browns here and. I mean kind of expected given how much attrition has occurred on the Bengals roster from injury. Also, just in general the way the season has gone..

"In establishing off of success in in the early parts tenure, I guess. Yeah. And Michael Myers in the in the live YouTube chat said, you know, something to the effect that the Bengals could have somewhere about fifty nine million in taps face as it stands next year. So is five point nine million the yeah. Yeah. I mean when you when you include that magical, rookie rookie pool in in season windfall. In all that stuff. Anyway, let's let's move on before start throwing things. Believe it or not Bengals the game this week. Earned. It is a doozy. Play. The raiders who have been struggling quite a bit in their first year under Jon Gruden. I think the raiders raiders nation thought that they had the return of their savior. And it is quite the opposite both because of trading away marquee players that they had on the roster and not getting enough out of their quarterback and all kinds of different problems of play the raiders traveled to Cincinnati and a game Cincinnati should win. Here we go John because there's a big canonical erotic readily if skewers lose out. If the ravens I think if they win one more game or moved apple. Basically there. There are heroes as it may be that if the Bengals went out and get a lot of help they could theoretically. There's probably I don't know the percentage chance it won't. It's very low. But at this point. What you saw last week in the effort level? We talked about. And. It's a real Kramer Bengals ended up doubling this foreign knowing what we know. Now getting does this vision is as winnable as it's been in a really long time in we kinda thought it was gonna be a little bit of down year waiting from. But. Or not not a very competitive year. We've been so really sticks mid mid late or the year. I mean, I guess I think most people say just take it and get a hydrophobic lose out or whatever. Or do you want to try and? See I mean, you don't want to give up obviously, right? I mean, even if you will the division at eight Nate. Yeah. I'll I'll say because I'm compelled the stand by my stance wrote about how we should continue to want to see the Bengals win because they don't make decisions predicated off wins losses were in that sense. Mice will just have some fun for the seasons. Because when autumn's down the way, I don't think they're drafting matters. What kinda town together first round again? I don't think they hire the fire Lamar Lewis go depending on what the record is at the end of the season with that said, I have no frigate interest in all the Senate bingo's team the playoffs as the foresee taking on the charges again as the five seed playing even at home Nunes esteem of just be like round two that's thirteen playoff game. I just have just euro inches and seeing that at all play offs steam like I I want to try and if they win this game against the raiders are win the game. The Browns have some fun with it. But not to the extent where they somehow stumble. Into the playoffs..

"There's just too much stacked against them right now. And you know, I think Christian Billingham who sends a comment here blow the team up and start over. Yeah. I mean, that's that's probably the the permeating thought through a lot of people right now. And unfortunately, you know, I mentioned some of those good names on defense the Bengals probably this next week now get AJ greenback. You would think you would hope that he would have played today. But you would think he comes back if Dalton's injuries serious they've got that core group of guys there. There's just this massive underachievement happening right now. And unfortunately, that's it's a reflection of of you know, coaching and all of that. There are positives to take away from this game. John Ross had another touchdown catch. Yes. You had a drop it. He was also he had a touchdown catch late in the game. He also had a he was opened early in the game on a bomb. That would have been a touchdown if Dalton hadn't overthrown him. So that's you know, there's that. And you know side for mix that was pretty much it thirteen penalties on the day unacceptable. Many of them were against poor Jeff not against him. But we're against the offense. When Jeff Driscoll was there and put him in terrible situations that negate any kind of comeback that the Bengals could've out mounted. And you know, I mean, there's there's so many things to say that are negative that the effort level throughout most of the game was poor the attitude seem to be pretty poor. They looked feed and deflated throughout the entire game. The little things now are starting to collapse on the. Cincinnati Bengals I mentioned the penalties all kinds of mental mistakes. In terms of false starts all the false starts at home, regardless of it being a different quarterback. All of the false starts at home. That's unacceptable. That's a mental mistake. You can accept physical mistakes. You know, hard hit you fumble the ball, you accept the accept that kind of stuff. You know, every once in a while interceptions will happen except that kind of stuff mental mistakes like a false start by numerous layers at home is something you cannot accept that's indicative of a lack of focus in all of that two weeks in a row the Bengals made rookie quarterback's looked like all stars in improving veterans, that's indicative of coaching in preparation. And you know, like, I said the intensity level the effort level all of that is not there in right now we seem to be kind of in this stretch if your member few people seem to reference or remember late last season when the Bengals got stopped by the bears the Vikings in back to back weeks. They fail to remember that because the Bengals had a couple nice wins at the end of the season. You know, save Marvin Lewis job, supposedly, then they come back, and they start off foreign on this year and everybody including myself kinda forgot to reference those things will now we're kind of in the middle of stretch very similar to that back. Then there were there was talk about Marvin Lewis potential losing his job. I don't know if that will be the case this this week. I doubt it I, you know, I think that at a minimum Mike Brown in the Bengals will keep Marvin Lewis through this season. They've already had enough coaching turnover. And all that kind of stuff. I think they're gonna keep it as is. But we'll see that's that's yet to be seen. You know there. There are like I said there's so many places to start in terms of issues with this team penalties. Thirteen penalties at home unacceptable. Your kicker can't kick a field goal attempt. Can't convert a field goal attempts seemingly over fifty yards. He got fifty four. Yard attempt block, then he had an extra point even when a very very very unlikely comeback was being mounted misses an extra point. Everything that can go wrong. Basically, did you know the Bengals get a touchdown before the half? They get the ball back. Maybe they start to get something. Moving poor snap by the rookie. Billy price goes over Dalton's head not only the Bengals lose possession. Give up another touchdown. But they lose Andy Dalton on the plate with an injured thumb. So it's things like that. That snowball on his team..

"YouTube since jungle dot com and art nineteen get the show where he can we appreciate the sport. And we are thankful that we have a lot of live listeners. Joining us even though it's a holiday weekend. They've got a lot to do maybe even allowed to prep for thanksgiving yet there joining us live, and we appreciate those down. Love the show after the fact is well, speaking of thankful, John we may need to reach for this one. But let's talk a little bit about what we are thankful for with the Cincinnati Bengals not going to be easy. I almost wish if we're talking about this segment. I almost wish that the Bengals may be started off one in four. And now they rattled off. They went foreign one. And that's now they're five five that we would be a little more positive, maybe at this point. But. Put you on the slot, buddy. I'm gonna let you go first. And it could be something. Hey, I'll even allow cynicism here if you'd like with your with your grateful, whatever you're great before with the Bengals. But seeing how it's thanksgiving. I thought that it would be appropriate that we talk about something thankful for with the with the Cincinnati Bengals twenty eight team. All right, always thankful for the helmets. Never let it hasn't changed in my lifetime. So forever grateful for that always thankful. People who know me know me as like more of on pivoting more towards player fandom than team phantom in team allegiance. And what when it comes to just how players just kinda act in compose themselves as you know, players representations of the league. I don't care if they're divas. I don't care if they're upstanding citizens. I think they deserve to be whoever they kinda want to be. But I am grateful that the the Bengals of at least my adolescents in in in teenage years in now. Now twenty two years old appreciative of that for the most part, they're pretty upstanding guys in the pretty well. Composed. And they just kind of even though you know, we we like to dog on some of them for the most part. I think that for the most part under Marvin Lewis, he's put together a team of pretty solid human beings for the most part. You know, guys like any doll aged green, Gino Atkins. Carl Michael Johnson. Just guys that really easy to root for a really make a fool themselves. You know, what went when some other teams do? So again, I I don't hate guys like Beckham or other guys like that who kind of appear in the media too soon because I understand that there's a lot more context than I think a lot of people miss when they look at players in the social media interactions. Not the Bengals, you know. Even if they are stuck in their ways in there. Nope. Consistently mediocre. They kind of always bring me back because it's easy to like the players on the team just from the way that they are as athletes in how they kind of just tell out in the community, but just how they carry themselves. I think they're they they always have a team that's really easy to root for kinda guys who stories that you always enjoying the follow. And it's honestly just listening talk a little bit cheesy one ever. But I just think that's always something that I'm appreciative unthankful for even if we won a roster every single year is guys. That I believe just really easy to root for really no player that you can live up to guess. That's a good one. I like that one. You know, I'm going I'm going to say a couple of things here in the I agree with you, John. I agree that, you know, there are the Carlos dunlap's Gino Atkins sky's. The Michael Johnson to are always knowledge for the Walter Payton man of the year. You know, there are a lot of good guys on this roster. Which is you know, cool to see I mean, even a guy Drake her Patrick. He's he's visiting senior senior homes dancing with with old ladies in doing cool things like that. You know? That's that's something. You don't you? Don't see from. It shows a level of maturity that we did not see from the Bengals in the mid two thousand late two thousand even when the you know, whatever you.

"But it's definitely not going to be a cakewalk, even if it is the Browns, and they still carry that stigma of being in the bottom of the league from to everyone else, but but Bengals fainted realizes that the Bengals are in the bottom league themselves. So it has to be a really big humility humility check for all Bengals fans in specifically for the Bengals. Yeah. I mean, even the record the record says five and five you're right there and the team that that. Loss to and the team that currently now has the succeed the grasp on the sixteen in the playoff picture in the AFC is five and five definitely beatable team. Even the Cincinnati lost to them. They you know, the way that the Bengals are playing the effort that they're showing or lack thereof it they are playing like they have two wins. They are playing like they, you know, like a Brown seem from years pass. It is not played very well. There has struggled to win games in you, look at it. Now, John you kinda go out of this team win five games. I mean, I I get how the season went on as the season has gone on. There's been a lot of injuries. There's been a lot of issues on that front. I get that. But every team experiences that maybe not to the same extent the Bengals have experienced it this year. But I mean, I'm looking at it. And I I looked at the offense for the the ravens this week. I've I kinda jokingly, but I'm serious. This is like a an offense. You see on Friday nights in the fall. I mean, it's it's read option the passing is incredibly careful. I don't know that the ball traveled fifteen yards in the air out of Lamar Jackson fan. He might some passes netted more yards than that. But I don't think he threw it in the air fifteen yards undrafted rookie free agent running back. It's one hundred yards on them. Lamar. I mean, these are these are the things that point to a bad team were a bad season yet the Bengals are five and five. So you go I don't get this team. Right. And a lot of the is. Be like just looked at upon week to week. And I think 'cause we talked about you know, how they're going to do in a season like season previews. Health was obviously a big factor that we talked about the typically with the offense almost experienced more injuries on the defensible long-term Lawson Brown dinner for a little bit. And obviously vigil the best linebacker has been on the field. So I like injury skews too gets old even for most teams. But when you have a coach who's been here for sixteen years is just hard to use the injury excused his benefit when you know, we said multiple years of dealing with this still nothingness he has nothing to show for it. So it you just can't give a coach he's been here for as long as Marvin Lewis the pass with injuries because at this when he should be knowing what he's dealing with with his roster. If he can't get it done by now than slow. He's never going to get it done with the ravens, you know, we we were kind of optimistic that the defense will get rejuvenated with Louis leading the way. But as you said, the ravens didn't do anything special to them. But it's almost like they didn't practice what they already knew going to happen. Which is just all the more mind boggling, I guess kind of a perfect synopsis of what the team. Is there Marvin Lewis? Yeah. There's a lot to dissect with with that game on. Fortunately, the Bengals didn't come out on top. They did make it a close line. We'll talk about that. We'll talk about some interesting injuries. Some more injury news with the Bengals in what's ahead for them. As we go forward. This is the orange black Outer Banks flawed. "Necessary new it's a necessary move. You don't like to see someone lose their livelihood or anything like that. But let's start with kind of the show part in that is terr- lost in being fired as the Bengals defensive coordinator. Now. There is so much to say about this. There's so much to digest in. Talk about with Austin. I think the main point here defensive for the Bengals defensive coordinator has overseen a unit that has over the basically said NFL record a dubious record for the most yards given up over four consecutive games. Yes. Those are some of the most explosive offenses in the NFL in the chiefs the Steelers even the buccaneers in that obviously the saints, but I mean, pretty awful in despite even the yards John. No sacks not turn overs against the saints. No sacks not turnovers against the Steelers. Like, they're there to Saxon. Interception in garbage time against Kansas City. And you know, they did get to an create some turnovers in that bucket years game. But one three stretch awful football played on that side of the ball necessary move. Correct. I mean for sure. I remember retweeting something about a week or two ago about the three worst defenses in the in the NFL in terms of expected points allowed was chiefs the saints in the ranch, I think it was like three of the four whatever those are all the three best teams in the league. But they also have offenses that can carry the load if their defense given blood yards and obviously the Bengals offense right now it has been struggling since that lenna game. So when you combine the offensive struggles with the warlords defense may be the worst defense in the NFL was obviously recipe for disaster. And that's why you know terrorists had to be held accountable for his lack of game plans like Neil Integrion scheme with players. I think that was something that we also learned this week is that there was some finger pointing in the building about how Austin wasn't exactly connecting with his players. He was changing things to radically in. There wasn't a true connection in chemistry with his players in obviously that obviously huge issue because not only you have so many injuries on the defensive front. But if you can't get all the guys in the same on the same page. If you can't get for a single goal, and you have your skiing jumping around from week to week. Nothing's really set in stone. It's obviously a lot of confusion on the field can lead to a lot of big plays allowed. That's exactly what the the chiefs. The buccaneers in the saints did to them. And if it wasn't for James wants to completely imploding, first half. It could have been allowed worse at this point. Awesome might have gone fired at the by week, which would have made a lot of sense because they would have been Ford four what had a tumultuous blown leader, whatever. But yeah, the the move was necessary, and it was refreshing to see the Bengals do this. I think these I expected that a gala Jim has would be the one promoted defensive coordinator. So then you know, having Marvin takeover as the defective defensive coordinator was also good move because no just an early signs of practicies connecting with the defensive players on a more personal level. I guess in in terms of going over them just the basic tackling techniques. It just looks like he's more comfortable with. Being in a role that he obviously has experienced in well experience with so both of the moves I think netted positive results in the short term in for the best of their ability to kind of salvage what what group they have on defense. Yeah. I I like what you said about the offense. I'm going to actually talk about that just a second. But you also mentioned, you know, Austin maybe doing some things that would cause the defense to over think to over adjust not enough, judgments what whatever the case may be. But there was an interesting column by Albert breer of the Monday morning quarterback, which is part of Sports Illustrated. There were essentially there was a quote, he had those in the building saw Austin is a guy who put too much volume in too quickly was too reactionary on week to week basis which kept the unit from developing an identity, and then he quoted somebody else a bangles staff member saying that it was it had become a disaster..

"Everyone going to Anthony Kazan's of with cincy jungle dot com. And the orange black insider Bengals podcast. I hope you're doing well, I hope that the rest of your weekend was better than what we witnessed from Cincinnati bangles on Sunday night. Unfortunately. Even with foreign to start even with some decent wins under their belt. You almost had a feeling that something like this was was coming around the corner, and maybe it's for those of us who have watched his team for a very long time and just realize that these these types of games happen with this team. Maybe it's just a, maybe it's just the fact that. You know the primetime thing, maybe it's just the fact that these types of losses happen to every team at some point. This is an embarrassment this, what this was an absolute basement on every single phase of the game, and you hate to use cliches like that. You hate to say. You know, you hate to use stuff like that, but it is what it is Rick. By the way. Hello from down here. You're right up the way for me buddy alot back at you and Hello to all the others who are commenting and everything good to have you with us. Let's try and commiserate for a few minutes here on this Facebook live video, and you can also get these reactions on our cincy jungle podcast or black insider feed. So if you have not subscribed to that, definitely do. So you get this in a lot of other different stuff on there. We pre shape the support there, but talking about tonight, special teams. Blow up right there was the mixed communication on a. You know, was it a pint? Was it not a fake, punt? You know, that's a fumble deepen chiefs territory can't have that. You had a defense that was absolutely deplorable all night in multiple phases yet. Understand that this chief team's gonna put a points, and I think everybody was going was going to concede that going into this even even if they lost and they gave up forty five points but still put up other, you know, points of their own, you'd be, you know, you'd say, well, you know chiefs, good team. It's at home, all that kind of stuff, but still awful tackling on defense. Only one turnover. And it didn't even any points, the Bengals squander that opportunity, not a ton of pressure. They got. They got to Mahomes a couple of times, but really the story of the defense was the tackling that was awful on offense, Cincinnati, Tony Dungy said it halftime going into this game as the Bengals offense. You had to know that you can't sit there and go three and out and punt the ball a lot. You just couldn't do that and expect a win, get the Bengals did that time and time again. There I was the first or second possession they had in the second half picnics antidote never looked comfortable was his worst game, even. I mean, you can even look at the the plays that he made. In in the four interception game against Carolina in this game to me, he, he looked completely uncomfortable all night part of that who do with some pressure. But part of that had do with forcing throws guys weren't getting open all of that kind of stuff. Really all three phases look completely unprepared. The Bengals they did not even. Look like they wanted to be there and play that game. I've said. I, I kind of said this on Twitter and I didn't word it rights and people call me out on it. Okay, fine. But I said this on Twitter and what I meant to say, you know, there's only so many characters you can use onto it or, but. How I, if you're Mike Brown. How are you as an owner. Pleased with this continuing product that you put on the field in prime time and on these big stages in the playoffs. How are you pleased with that in? How are you unwilling to make any changes now? I don't. We don't know what's going to happen this week..

"I just I just can't say within the conference of they're going to win. So the very well could because of a couple of things with chiefs pass defense in with don's playing. But until happens it, I just can't expect it. So thirty one twenty chiefs. I'm gonna say this. You said, is this a game? The Bengals could win? Yeah, for sure. I think they can win. I think that this city team is very beatable. They're very, very, very good. But the very beatable. I think a lot of factors going against its natty this week in think. I do think that if the Bengals end up pulling this one out, that's. That's that's a pretty big season Shifter if they can win this game both for primetime TV purposes beating a very good team on their turf rebounding from the Steelers. I mean, if they could do all of that, that's that's impressive. I'm gonna say this. I don't think they win. I think very well can I think it's probably going to be like a twenty six twenty three or thirty to twenty seven, something like that. I think it's going to be a fun game. These can be entertaining the Bengals of show that they will be in almost every single game late. And I think that's gonna. Would this going to be what happens here? Whether that means we're going to experience similar heartbreak to what transpired last week or just the Bengals not being able to close out or what have you, I think is going to be very close, tough venue. I will sit as Andy Reid has a lot of Marvin Lewis DNA in him as a head coach is a guy who does not always win. The big games is a guy that has not necessarily done well in the playoffs. He's done better than Marvin Lewis in the playoffs. But there there is a lot of Marvin Lewis, ish stuff going on there. Oregon, you could say there's a lot of Andy Reid, ish stuff going on there. Andy Reed's been around for while so. You know, I would not be surprised if the Bengals pulled this one out based on last week based on the injuries based on Brian Jones sit. I just. They and the team, the plan. I don't know if I see it, but that's that's kinda that's kind of how I see things going. I see Michael Myers, twenty twenty one twenty eight chiefs. I sell some other people that are saying Bengals Bengals Bengals. So that's kind of interesting who knows. You know, the rebound we'll see is the orange black ever. Bangles podcast. That's that's also another factor that kind of opens the door a little bit, but still it's it's one of their biggest proven games of the year. I said that last week in just tell us a lot about what the steam released quickly. If the bagels say, saved the Bengals play competitive game, it's pretty close. They end up losing in going to foreign three. How do you, how do you feel about them going for? I feel they can still make the playoffs, but I would still have the same minimal conference. They can do anything once there. Yep. That's, you know, in. It, it stinks it. That's where we're at. But you know, usually a team that has two poor seasons in a row. It rebound nicely start off pretty well. You know, usually like, hey, we can make playoffs, maybe make a run, but we've seen this song and dance before we have..

"And then you know, there are other times especially early in the game where it wasn't working very well in the Bengals kind of abandoned things in the third quarter on the ground, which you know was not good. Obviously, Mark Walton was was ineffective. Definition of irony. You talk about how the Bengals should have scored more than twenty one points in the game in the Marvin Lewis era. If I'm if I remember correctly based on, I think some something that our good friend James routine throughout their the Bengals had never scored more than twenty points against the Steelers in the Marvin Lewis era, they scored twenty one to go up in less than a minute half and they still lose. It's not the nineties anymore. Teams just averagely. Oh, hi, twenty points gave you can't win games like this. And I think I think your point about mixing his is really evident in that first drive of the of the second half in and there's a lot number one Eriksson gets a fifty yard fifty one yard kickoff return, which is awesome. Sets the Bengals very well. The bangles are then in a third one, third and two, I believe they don't get it and they're in Steelers territory, bad weather, did it? I it where you say, hey, where at home, you know we put, but. I just I feel like the crossing routes in out routes, devoid. The short ones were dull day. I think he got AJ green up. There mixing can do a number of different things. And I think that if you can't get a yard and a half two yards on your home turf, maybe you don't deserve to win, but that that is a spot. I think that is a spot that many fans questioned. Why Marvin Lewis did not go for it. And I think also the big thing the the Bengals had big, big, big momentum going in and out of halftime. Because of that last last second touchdown, stay score right before the half. So your thoughts in your analysis of that drive in and other situations in the game where you may be thought, Marvin, grow, pair. Let's let's let's do this and you know, kind of imposed a will even if it leads to feel goal or two field goals, you get some points. You're in a different situation at the end of the game it captured in. I'm glad you brought probably should've mentioned with I point. But yeah, that's another gigantic reason why they lost because they accepted defeat in the I can't. I can't beat around the Bush with that point if you punt from within your own fifty, our line three times during the game, and one of those sitting only twenty yards gave a feeble on the defensive. Dr anyways, that's accepting the feet you're playing not to lose at home. I don't. I don't understand I, it's, it's, it's been tally. It's it. It's mental. It's mental shrink, nece a word. I'm solely flabbergasted because it's just a constant issue under Marvin Lewis. Just it's not going to get better until it does, and he's shown no signs of ever doing anything better in. It's always against the Steelers. It's always this shrinking in big moments in just not, you know, the ant, the anti thesis of Sean McVeigh basically who two weeks ago. Was playing at at central stadium in Seattle yet a fourth one situation as as the forty anyone for any got it in the in the end up winning the game. Because after the game he says, we don't fear failure. I can't say the same thing about Marvin Lewis. Definitely. When he plays the Steelers team that he just can't be with sixty five thousand fans supporting him right there. I don't. I'll never understand it, but I will always expected to this because it's just it's just not going to change until it does while drawn. You're, you're the king of the segue. We're gonna. We're gonna get to another question about this Steelers game in and this hold unquote rivalry in just a second. This is the orange black insider Bengals podcast. He's John cheering on the Zaza and we're breaking down the Bengals heartbreaking loss twenty twenty one against the Steelers hard-fought game, but Bengals still manage to come up short for a variety of different reasons. We're gonna open up the phone lines just a few minutes here and the text line. If you wanna get in touch with us nine four, nine, five, four..

"Mitchell. Even if you don't get a contract, you really wanna play special teams not eat like a major part of on defense, they they would benefit him being at. They have three solid safeties with federal being the guy behind both base Williams. So I think it was just more of, you know, pencil signing as guys as leader in in the secondary where the really young back there as a player. I don't think he has much left to give. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the way he plays the game because of what the countless examples of evidence against him as a as a head hunter back there. But yeah, I wouldn't. I wouldn't support it for that reason also because I think things are better at safety now than what they were in the past couple years. But. I'm not saying disagree with anything you said because I don't, but the Bengals to me, I've always. I've always said they've had very, very, very big troubles in beating the Steelers, and I'm alive always. I've always kind of been if you can't beat them, join them play their style football. They play in my opinion, sometimes as dirty if not more than some of the things we've seen from some Bengals players in the past, and maybe they just do not get as penalized or not as notice or what have you. But. Brings physicality. He brings playoff experience, playoff winning experience. He brings AFC north experience even if he's a rotational guy and in a spark plug of the guy in the locker room is at worth it if it's like a vet minimum or because here's the thing too is when you bring guy like that on your either. I aren't someone cutting some wine, whatever. So there could be a decent player that had been both get rid of for him, which is it's tough to, you know, way that, but. We know that there's some limitations now because of age in some other things as a player. But as a locker room guy, maybe a spot contributor, maybe a fresh start in a different defense. Is that something where you go? Well, maybe I gotta say if he does get signed by the Bengals I'd probably go back and delete some tweets of my on my Twitter account. Does. Yeah, I haven't been very complimentary of Mike Mitchell, but this is this is kind of what I what I fell and unfortunately didn't work out so great. But this is kinda what I found in the Bengals signed James Harrison. If a few years ago now I feel that the Bengals didn't use him to respect strengths because the next the next year he went to the Steelers was pretty good. But I just, I don't know. I kinda see like, hey, maybe there's a different kind of value there. Yeah, the difference Mitchell's that you know, he's not gonna join the Bengals leave in somehow revives crew bag with the steals Elsie that happening. But again, big picture if they bring Mitchell end up cutting, Brandon Wilson, don't think it makes that big of difference for the overall impact of the defense. I like Brandon Wilson, but he's not really gonna play any any much on defense if he does the probably bring the same impact as might Mitchell pre similar at their respective points in their careers. But again, to your point when the Bengals try in the Bengals one time try to play to the Bengals or flow in terms of physicality end losing a playoff game, and I'll just leave it at that..

"Say ESPN. I've got something else I want to ask you guys because while the Bengals are Super Bowl bound and we can just put that aside, there is nothing uncertain about that book. It you book the Bengals going Super Bowl. Why not? Yeah. I mean, we've got the stats to. We've got the stats to back it up, right? Good Lord yet. I mean, has there ever been a book that no one buys is serious more than that one. God love, but the Bengals I'm telling you it's a more interesting team in division right now that until we get that Steelers performance, that makes us all feel comfortable again because that tie week one is going to stick in the craw of a lot of people. We're going to feel some type away, but I want to get this out there because I have a very interesting question for everybody. So saw story yesterday. That Nick young challenge Gilbert arenas to three point shooting contest. Now when push came to shove Gilbert arenas showed up, Nick young did not. The difference is Gilbert arenas. Not only showed up, but showed up ready. Gilbert arenas showed up to the gym with a hundred grand in cash in a bag in a duffel bag. That's a level of confidence that I feel like few of us get to emulate. I read a book called thinking in bets and the whole concept was we all have strong opinions that Bengals opinion right there. If you asked me to put any real amount of money that matter to me on there, I would wilt I would crumble under that sort of pressure Gilbert arenas so confident by the way they said he's responded because Nick young didn't show up made ninety five of one hundred three's when he went in the gym. So you can see why that brings one hundred cash hundred grand in cash in a duffel bag. Is there anything you have ever been so confident in yourself in that you would have to defend your own honor shown up with a hundred grand in cash in a duffel bag. Is there anything ever in your life that you thought? I'm so good. I got. I.

"Is the best I n last the podcast. Wow. Going through it here this morning. I have stumbled across thanks to our fine people at ESPN, stats and info. Some information about the Cincinnati Bengals that already has them Super Bowl bound and after last night, I don't know if last night typical enigmatic Bengals performance. I watched last night. And if you watch for a half of the game, you think, man, this is a Bengals team that might actually be able to do something in a year where it seems like the Steelers, at least right now have some mystery, some uncertainty surrounding their immediate future because when you tie the Browns, anything seems possible. And then you watch the rest of the game for the Bengals and you start to see them allows them things into the frame that look a little bit more normal for them. Now the Cincinnati Bengals did go on and get a win last night in in Thursday night football, they beat Baltimore and a division game thirty four to twenty three in a game where they got out to. About as hot start as you could ask for from this team and that start had everything to do with AJ green who got in the end zone early and often hear the sounds of AJ green courtesy of Andy, Dalton, Donald, throw it on third and one his pass on and traffic. Jay toward the end zone touchdown, bang Dole's as a j. Green broke a tackle about two yards downfield and then opened up the long race bowl stri to take it into the end zone shotgun, snap, Dalton in the pocket, throws it toward the left side of the zone a. j. green first time it is magnificent. NFL career has three touchdowns in a game, and it's only two minutes into the second quarter. Those calls of ESPN fifteen thirty. As you can imagine there about anything other than AJ green, the home radio call is electric. What a, what? A beautiful sanctuary.
