"Where do you think is future. Stars are going in the nba when it comes to some of these other businesses. Well i mean it's an i loved it. It's a no-brainer with your lamelo on your luca's. Probably on and stuff like that like my whole like. Do you want to call it. A game plan top shot with like. Here's one. this is the start of this if this actually last for twenty years and how could series one basically the rookie. You know and a lot of these players. Their first moment on top shot. How could that not have value in the future. Now whether or not that pays off. Who knows but that was my whole plan. So i was just trying to get as many sort of young stars that i think people also like 'cause that was another thing it was like. Oh you know you better get you on. His balance unison series one moment. I'm like. I love one judas. He's not cool player. Like people want booker. They want back levin. They went down to the mitch. Those type of guy so that was my whole game plan but yeah i mean lamelo. An actual true rookies. And i don't know if you've seen any summer league. I know i've been sort of like just starting to dabble in here as it started like. Yeah you just bet on some of these kids like that like jalen. Green in this first game looks amazing. You know who knows what his career could be j. e. skis joins the show from the athletic part of the no dunk. Screw you mentioned some relief yet. A great tweet. That i highlighted here. There's a special place in heaven for people who watch. Nba summer league. What is that place in heaven. Describe it for the rest of i. Yeah a little tongue in cheek. This is like one of the first summer leagues. i have been to in a long time. We used to take our show out there. We were the starters. You missing half court shots annually in front of the summer league crowd. How dare you. How dare you a hit the rim a couple times been on those half court shots It's just like it's so funny. I'm watching it at home. And i'm like i sort of miss it and then i'm enjoying it and on the other hand i'm like oh god thank god. I'm not there. We go to douglas for like thirteen or fourteen days straight. that is that'll kill man And yeah you want to go to the biggest vegas. Everybody knows two three or four days tops But yet two weeks so. I don't miss that art but it is a it's like if you have never gone and you are a basketball sickle. Like i am try and get there with friends at some point again for a couple of days. Don't stay for the whole thing because it is it's just a blast Sort how up. Close you get to a lot of these players and just even other. Nba superstars like just roll into the building. It's not like you're not obviously going up to them to check in their hand and taking photos like ben lyons taking a photo with every celebrity on earth as guy. "On the call. Usually here at the Rich Eisen show, and Ben Lyons filling in for Rich on the rich Eisen show. We usually have Raiders board up art with us, But art is out today. Laura is here. Good morning here in Southern California. Laura, how are you? I am. Well, thank you for bringing me on, Did you? You get a chance to watch the t honest block last night? Sorry. I don't have my headphones on key moment. No, Don't worry. Don't worry. Vent lines phone in for rich on the rich Eisen show coming up in about half an hour. My buddy Jamie Patrick, off producer. Best friend of Rich Kleiman, Kevin Durant's Buddy Rich Kleiman, His high school power forward. Teammate Jamie Patrick Off, has become a big producer here in Hollywood produced a documentary about KD for HBO a few years ago. He's going to call in about 30 minutes. Laura's got her headphones on now ready to go. Do you see the honest block last night? Where were your thoughts? I'm not. Look, Ben. I'm going to be honest, I'm not much of a basketball. I have a little bit of PTSD with basketball. Was forced to play. I wasn't very good. I refuse to watch it because it just brings back very awful memory. I thought you were gonna say we're kindred spirits with he had PTSD because I'm a Knicks fan, So I was just seeing so much terrible basketball. No. Over the years I watched myself and I just That's all I needed. That's all I need. Well, the play last night, I think will live on in NBA history. And I think it is going to be a turning point in the series. Um Because the finals are defined by those moments, and you know last night that moment just to seal the deal for Milwaukee, who was down big and and slowly but surely came back. Middleton was outstanding. And if I'm Phoenix, I got my bounce back game from Booker. I kept eating out of foul trouble. Drew holiday struggled from the field and it wasn't enough. The others have to show up for Phoenix. You know, I think back to great role playing performances throughout NBA history. You think of Mike Miller in Game five for Miami. I think he hit seven threes. You think John Paxson in 93 that final play in Phoenix? A Game six were all five members of the Chicago Bulls touch the ball on the last possession in the game and packs and gets the wide open three. We all know the Steve Kerr shot. In the finals, I believe was 97 for the Chicago Bulls. Role players often times to find the NBA Finals. You have moments like last night with Yannis, but Its competence. Three down the stretch. Big time big time shot from Pat. The others for Phoenix have to show up. Chris Paul struggling. He's got drew holiday on him. Follow Tami beer. He's a great writer for Forbes covers basketball at a high level. He had a great staff. Drew holiday has been the primary defender on Chris Paul for a total of 78 possessions during the NBA Finals, and Chris is forced Seven turnovers. Comparison. Dennis Schroder guarded CP three for 83 possessions in the first round, and Chris Paul only committed one turnover. So this isn't just Chris Paul heading a mental block running out of steam at 36, the plant based diet, not panning out. No, it's none of that. Chris is competing at a high level, and I know his wrist has given him some problems that shoulder he's banged up, but Chris Paul is a gamer. Through holidays, just playing some excellent defense. And it's the reason why he's and all league defender. He's on Team USA three guys in this game on Team USA. Devin Booker, Chris Middleton and drew Holiday. And the American men's basketball team looks all out of whack. I know they waxed Argentina the other day, it doesn't matter. They look like a mess. They don't look like they have any continuity there playing timid and I think they can take a page out of what the women are doing. The W N B A All Star game last night was fantastic. And Team USA hit a wall against the W N B a all stars, and that's going to motivate them heading to Tokyo. To watch. Brianna Stewart, Brittney Griner, Sue Bird, Skylar Diggins Smith. That's a squad and it's because they've been playing together for a long time. So just imagine if back in February at the All Star Game if we got team USA versa, collection of NBA all stars from around the world. Have been a better All Star game, and it would have been better for Team USA as they try to figure things out before the Olympics in Tokyo without half their team after team still in the NBA finals, so kind of a mess on the men's side of things I know they beat up on Argentina the other day, but I'm not giving.

"Future of Lions in Kenya? And would you see you? Also lions role being in that I think the vision for Lions in Kenya. I have hope as long as people living alongside lines are involved in the conservation process so as long as everyone collaborates as long as everyone works together. As long as there's none of this lions only here and people live outside as long as everyone looks at lions and people and POPs and communities and partners and stakeholders as long as we look at all together. Ben Lyons definitely have future in Kenya? We've got a lot to do. We have a lot of challenges. A lot of threats lions keep facing but I do have hope as long as people are involved as long as there's a lot of collaboration and communication than that's really what I hope to see for line conservation in the future. Did you have a second question? I guess I wanted to also ask you to share some of the progress that the organization and your team have made overall in increasing the population of lions in December rule by think for us our population still stable. We have lost a few lions but are birth rates pretty good. It's been stable for about a decade now. Twenty seventeen was a bad idea. But we have managed to pick up the pieces since then we're monitoring About between forty to fifty lions including cubs which is pretty good for the area and the team of four years have stopped the killing of lions over one hundred times just in the last three years. We've managed to engage women conservation. We've managed to engage children in conservation. And I hope that something else it was alliance can do in. The future is bringing children from Kenya to come and stay with us and learn about conservation because we have a lion kids where this very much possible now. Children can come live him. Five days get involved in conservation activities hopefully go home excited about the prospects of conservation. So that's something we definitely WanNa see. More off in. The future is bringing children from all over Kenya and partnering with organizations to do so. It's really a holistic approach by really collaborating with every group within that community because you ensure that there is a generational passing of that knowledge and that kind of mindset so I really think got some great idea so just to get into the lightning round. Here we'll start with the first question. Which is what have you read heard or watched lately that has influenced you the most. I've been reading a lot on leadership stuff I think mostly over the past year. I've done a lot of leadership training and I've watched videos on what it's like to be a leader and out being effectively data. Go Watch this great video where we were talking about leaders and followers and how leader will get no way unless he or she can convince his followers to believe in his Co. as in how important those initial follow as an I duNno. Followers is the right word. But that's the word they used in this video and. I really do believe that I really do accept that. That's really very much the case I think of Geria- and a few of the guys who started with me right from the beginning and I was one person who convinced to other people but it was those two who then convinced one hundred and I feel like those initial people who believe in your cause a so so important see all has been in the year just learning a lot more leadership watching videos watching. Ted Talks about leadership. Yeah I think that's definitely played a role in how I see things hurt. And what's a personal habit? That has helped to significantly in your work. Counting every single penny. I think I got that from my dad. I don't know whether that's the Indian and meal. What in May but definitely. I'm very very careful when it comes to money and I think that has helped the project a lot. We do not waste money. Were very with money. We record everything down to every single ten cents and I think that's a personal trait of mine. I'm pretty sure God for my dad and I think it's helped a wall lies loss. That's a great treat. What's the best piece of advice you've received to say? No don't be afraid to say no when I think for so many as I said Yes yes yes to absolutely everything. And then you risk burnout. But I think it's also just as powerful able to say no and it gives you time it gives you space it gives you energy so. I think I'm quite willing to say no to a lot of things these days and it. It helps me a lot. That's a good one finally. What is your superpower? I would say lion whisperer but Gosh I don't know I I don't know if I I don't know I'm not sure I can read lions the way some of the guys do several should be lying whisperer as true. I duNNo. Give me some examples of some superpowers. Let me see if I fit remote leaks to. Somebody said that they have a super sense of smelling of smell. Rather when said they're very kind of needle one of those nine? Oh my here is terrible and hit everything in the opposite direction. Actually think what it is. 'cause I did some tests last year when I was doing all this leadership. Training in one of the tests was looking at you'll five strengths and my top strength. That came out was responsibility and I really think that is something that drives me so I feel like I have this real sense of responsibility to get things done if I really believe. In something which was another strength of mine. It was called. I think between the belief and the sense of responsibility and duty. I have for Kenya. And Kenya's wildlife. I think that's a real strength that pushes me forward and pushes it whilst the Lions Forward. So maybe that's probably the best way I can end. That is a great superpower finally. Where can we follow you? On Your Journey. You can follow us at a wall. Salons a way are on facebook twitter and instagram and Youtube. And all our handles basically to also lions so please do follow us and we love to hear from people so definitely stay up to date with our news on our social media Our website which is a so lions dot org a wall so is e w a s lions dot org. I love your website. It's so informative and inspirational. So it's really cool. Is there anything else you would like to add before we go no? I think that's good. I thanks for this opportunity. I hope this social journey and conservation can grow and I hope the Kenyan Indian communities commitment to conservation can grow and I hope this is something that might help I really do. I think we're starting at a good place so well thank you again. Chavannes really appreciate. Thanks a lot south now and look for to talk.

"And for a young guy like myself, obviously, I love the old school style of baseball, but also like the new school style a baseball. So I think for myself, I'm kind of a little more openness stuff like that. But I also think you have to look at how the situation was handled with those players. Right. You look at somebody like Jason Giambi who got popped for steroids, and literally just took it right on the chin. He was like, hey, man. I'm sorry. Yeah. You know, I I was trying to help myself he was very honest. Very transparent right away. Yeah. Roger Clemens Barry Bonds, many. Those guys weren't like that. So I think that there has something to be said for how the situation was handled, but I think major league baseball has well as a lot of professional sports are doing such a tremendous job trying to. Down on steroids. You're never gonna take him completely out of the game. I mean we just saw player from the Oakland A's just got popped for steroids gonna miss eighty game. So I think they're doing their best job and they're putting their best foot forward because the testing has gone way up through the roofs, but I think until viewer until the voters get a little younger. I don't think a whole lot is going to change and the punishment I think is good. Beijing baseball is kind of done a write in that respect where pop bloom, half the season gone, second time, don't pay. Yes. Second time gone for a whole year. We saw obviously rod got hit with the whole year. I mean I think if you really want to get rid of steroids in the game make it a lifetime ban. I defense lifetime ban. That'll be scary for guys to think about that. But I mean obviously that's hard because there's been a lot of false positives on some certain ratings. So he's be collectively bargain to there's still a lot of gray area but I think they're doing a pretty good job of shutting down, though. Steroidal seem to hear as much about it as much as you used to back in the day World Cup update. Eight okay, the US women are through to one river Spain. "All right. So we're talking about Cam Newton earlier guys, the video that went viral over the weekend of Cam China offer this guy fifteen hundred cash for some extra legroom on a ten hour, I still can't believe this story and the guy said, no. Exact. He must have been comfy. He must have been rich or just didn't care about having Kim's. Got nice watch on should went for the watch asking you guys. What's the best coach seat on the airplane? What's the best coach seat? Bulkhead window bulkhead, I'll exit row, I or exit row window forty seven percent exit row. I'll twenty two percent bulkhead window exit. I'll exit I'll forty-seven percent. Agree disagree. I if I had the choice on the window guy liked to be secure, kind of, like, Nestle up on the window kind of saying, I sleep. You know what I mean? Can you sleep on airplanes, not as well as I would like to right? I mean, I feel like I see people like curled up out my kids, we little, girls, get on a plane, bro. No problem out of just how do you even do that? Teach me. This is a little late for that teach me teach me pretty good about sleeping on planes. When you're a jet center like yourself, just just throw some headphones on. And you're out put you. Are you there pods? No, no. Eats like boys clothes. Yeah. Like I do the pods for working out. I'm on a plane. I go big go big boys sake. Bose noise cancelling bluetooth SIA. Yeah. I'd say it's funny man because I think traveling with kids, you know, that's the worst thing, you want us for your kids like yell or scream on the plane, right? But now with all these noise cancelling headphones, I don't feel bad for you. If you don't have those. What is your what is your philosophy? How do you get them to stay calm, stay focused like that through the ipad movies? What's your go-to? I mean we talked to an hour one about being the Commissioner for the day. And I was talking about writing unwritten rules. I think there's a lot of unwritten, airplane, etiquette rules that people need to understand. I tell you about that all the time. Biggest fear is when I'm traveling with my wife. My two daughters. We have a we have our dog Cooper that we travel with as well. I mean, that's we're like the clamp. It's brought a lot of stuff going on. I haven't so I think, you know, the worst thing that I like to do is. Sometimes when we booked flights, it's hard to get four seats that are together or two seats and two seats. So I've had a little problems every now and then asking somebody to switch with me so I can sit next to my three year old daughter. They're like, oh, no. You know, and I'm like great. You're gonna take care of my kids for five hours..

"But I'm saying you need you need those guys, those guys can paid. And they're going to disappear. Okay. But I'm saying before you need those guys, Vince in west Covina went up, Vince guys, I'll good. Hey, so, I think you guys are forgetting that, if that David is hurt, then suddenly, there's no trade value in New Orleans. So they have to train them before the season begin. It's a great point. I, I mean look how can get hurt doing anything, though? I mean that the chances of getting her while you're playing forty minutes on the second of back tobacco probably better than if you're on a team. Sure. I just did that these guys play basketball, though. Like I'm I'm in that camp like I get limiting minutes and things of that nature. I don't think he's in play forty one guy with well-documented injury. I don't think he's playing forty minutes, though. I don't think they're gonna do. I think if they go into the season with him, there's gonna be a minutes discussion. Like we saw the was a huge distraction culturally and Alvin gentry's gotta deal with that. But albums got a handle that better like he's got to manage those minutes, better yet this weird minutes to manage situation is like we want to showcase him. And we want to win, but kind of I don't know. I just think it's all kind of it is. I'm not saying it's an easy situation, right? I mean, I think it's something that they, they've already been through it once I think they can do it again potentially and probably do it a little better. Do you think last night, get back to Steph and the warriors? Like, do you think last night was kind of I don't know, like a resurgence or validation of staff or lines. So that's a great question. Let me answer that on the other side. Plus, there is a big narrative about Zion out there, because he hasn't signed with an agent. I wanna kind of squash, some of that coming up in just a second. "Maybe they do need to get cert- start working on things a lot change in Laker land. Since I came up here last week with Sodano I was coming hidden in here. The heels of the Magic Johnson announcement and everyone was kind of silk coming up for air and just trying to figure it out. But I think there's been a real cultural shifts with the Lakers in the last week in the last week something. Has dramatically changed in Laker land. And I want to get into a quickly next. Plus, we're gonna play our interview with Sam amick. We had him on the other day you've rights for the athletic covering the NBA. And he's the one who broke the story about the Lakers not contacting David Griffin. Which is just how do you not do that me? Now, like, I do not even just pick up the phone so bizarre to me who they said, the tweet or something can we like DM slide David Griffin DM something like jokes aside? It is bizarre. You're right. Such a mistake at the only word mistake to not even pick up. I don't that makes no sense. That makes no sense. But the Lakers are doing something that lets me know that they're listening, and I think this is progress, I think this is good Laker fans. There has been a cultural shift around the organization in less than a we mean is looking at me like a deer in headlights me. Like, what is this guy talking about is? He just is this a long troll thing from a Nick fan. No. The Lakers are doing something that I'm totally on board with right now, I support it. And I wanna hear and see more of it. So we'll get into that next. Plus. The entire interview was Sammy Mick from yesterday Sodano show when he breaks down everything going on with the Lakers fascinating. "And he probably shouldn't have as ring. Right. But he does. And he is a good coach you've seen it first hand being around that team. I feel like I don't know. Do you have like residents in the state of Ohio like you were in Cleveland so much? I know that I have a lot of free nights built up the Cleveland west in case I want to go back, but what makes Lewis special coach. And what what might Laker fans be surprised to hear? When you talk about. I've enjoyed always my time with Thai my time working around him my time covering his team in his work. I think though, what makes him special not just as a coach. But perhaps as the coach of the Lakers is his relationship with LeBron is his relationship with some of the up and coming free agents who may consider your quote getting the band back together out in Los Angeles. This time with perhaps the stakes even higher. So when I think about what makes tie special. It's not just him as a coach it's him in this particular situation once get into some of that free agent speculation next Kristen lead, low from TNT and NBA TV in here and possibly from Space Jam to update to put that out there. Thank you for shit, though. I do you want me to try this thing? Yeah. Let's give you the motivation. So the idea is you can read verbatim. But you can also riff off of it. Not Palinka the actual clip. You can do your own thing with it. Right. Okay. All right. So you play Pelinka. I I. With the stories in the book of Genesis. Where there was a time when the Israelites were wandering in the desert and all of a sudden bread came down from heaven. That's kind of what today feels like. Yup. Welcoming Casey p manna from heaven by now be likable. I'll give it a shot himself facing when you start. I guess I'll start as often as I do here with the story. Right. So I'd venture to guess that there's people in the room that are familiar, but the stories of the book of Genesis. Where there was a time when the Israelites which wandering the desert and all of a sudden. Brad came down from heaven. That's what today kind of feels like. Go right on the script. I forgot about this from Ben Lyons. Yeah. Absolutely. Correct Baron Davis came to the clippers as a free agent that Davis was still a very big player, but he did not do. So there was an argument to me. And I think we made it at the time that Barron might not have been come into the clippers specifically out of pure basketball. He was on before LeBron was learned was I think. Oh, yeah. LA and doing I actually that was my reaction actually win the clippers signed baron. Davis is like fact check trip as like this could be a little dangerous. Baron is sort of a nodding acquaintance with the entire city. Like, Barron knows everybody. And I was like this could be a little distracting, but still Barron did come here. I just the larger the gets it like did you got you you read? And I know you did I don't know how much Greg reads. What? Well, well, sports, and I really do all right now. But I know I read books to keep going the arnovitz peace where he talks a lot about this. This sort of broader question of are the Lakers relying on the brand more than the product. And when I see stuff like that dismissive of the clippers who have a really good organization, and you know, a really rich owner who super-motivated and yes, the ugly uniforms, and they make people make fun of them. And they have that stupid, Condor and their hats and their in game entertainment is usually sterling still the number one fan. There's some stuff there that isn't classy in the way that the Lakers are it's very new money versus old money. But none of that matters in terms of actually who's going to win more games going forward and the Lakers of let the product even this year where they were trying to create a good product while. Leaving the door open for a great product going forward, though, the wheels fell off of it this year. We're fifteen games left and we've already spent five talking about. Okay. What do we do? Now. We're just staring at this like tire fun. It's really crazy. I wrote about this for the are both covering the Lakers for the athletic. The Lakers spent like the last four or five years doing a lot of work fixing optics problems that they had, you know, a lot of different facets for this organization and heading into this year by and large. They had done terrific work for sure fixing those even even before they sign LeBron. They had done a lot of really good work fixing the optics of this organization. There's still work to be done. It wasn't perfect, but they had made major strides and like the last two three months of this season has torched so much of it. But not all of it. And a lot of people are. Upset on Twitter guys to negative, man. It could all still turn out. Okay. Like, there's still a chain. Like Magic Johnson gets in there. And and signs the the big free agent, and they can swing a trade for Anthony Davis, which become significantly harder in light of the Brandon Ingram diagnosis and all that stuff. But look if they can get it done. You could argue about the process do they do a great job. Could it have been a little smoother? But the bottom line is if you end up with LeBron star player acts and Anthony Davis LeBron Kemba Walker and Anthony Davis one of the kids leftover a couple of guys left, whatever. Like, that's that's that's absolutely your team delay. That's okay. Yeah. They're obviously the Lakers in a position where things can be great moving forward. But you just the problem is you can't assume it and the I like the track record like they didn't get they didn't get a meeting with Paul George, and maybe he did it because Georgia's smart enough to understand I don't wanna get in the room with magic..

"They burn your jersey. If you're here when it's not fair kill win. So we'll see what happens number one pick and Kevin Knox for and Frank for a D New York to Cairo. Outta here. Hi, cats over. No, okay. A few more questions because I'm pouting. Okay. I do want to talk about this this series. I do believe what is happening. And I need you to take away all your Nick phantom and look at this through an objective lens. Do we believe there is an I'm not even going to go with the word conspiracy. But there there are those who do not want to see the Lakers franchise do well within the league for several reasons. One just because they didn't like the relevancy of the dominance. They had back in the day to rob Pelinka former agent now in charge of the Lakers he had his own bit of hate coming into the situation because he was one of the most powerful agents in the league. And then people just say LeBron general, so you take all this separate hate you put it together. I mean, it it's a very bad recipe. Is it not over terror? You know, how it is in twenty nine thousand nine people hate up people in your comments saying wild stuff because they wished that they were able to work as hard as you are short what you have or live the life you have. So I think when it comes to eight look at it as a sign of validation of pack that there's still. Part of the conversation, the NBA when let's be honest. They haven't won a playoff series in six years. I don't know any other team that hasn't won a playoff series in six years. It still leaves your shows on ESPN the fact that they're part of that conversation is a win for the Laker organization. And look, I don't I don't think every NBA team is playing with the same deck of cards extenuating circumstances surrounding every franchise in organization that they have to deal with the lack of season ticket subscribers and buyers or media partners or free agent destination here, but the Utah Jazz has gotten out of the first round the last two years, and I don't see them making big splashes in the summertime. So that you how you run your organization. The Lakers doing that. You talked to ask things team lawf-, I'm still married. So are you all? Doing that producers. Those like I wonder if it's going to do that Utah Jazz offer. So everybody knows he in law. Chose the second coming of join weight. Rickie Rubio looks like he wants to Hogwarts. There are a lot of funny. It is strange going basketball game with twenty thousand people in the sand. Yeah. So we're still doing this that different kind of basketball back where everybody it's it's a special vibe out use on Tony the basketball games. And look the Lakers have known to blame themselves the honesty they traded away. And all star diangelo, Russel. Oh goodbye. Say goodbye to Julius Randolph nothing. Oh, I was hoping the tree happens by Ozzy hoping it happens. So the pelicans could go to the second round with Kyle coups. No, Brandon Ingram. Joyous. Ran first of all I would have been almost the angel- DeAngelis. Russell could not thrive here because he was a Tableau tail and he was human distractions in Los Angeles. You have really infants now with the platform. Now, you have to understand you type of player to play here with all these distractions is Hollywood glitz glamour, you become a bigger star and people can't function in this environment. It eight every spring in eighth grade. Let's bring in born ready lent..

So Ben in in a weird kind of Oscars where we're present where we're just terrible dreadful movies are being nominated for data me awards at Ben Lyons is the person determine who wins that award of those four movies, which what is the best. I have a film from oil swertz Nager was probably the greatest action star ever that said films nominated share for. This guy's greatest action movie of all time. I'm gonna go point break because that's film has a cultural ripple effect that still exist to this day one. There was a spin off twenty years later to launch a career of Kiana reads, three still an icon for the name, Johnny Utah, still means something and until same. Donald showed up was probably the best option of quarterback and five there plays around Los Angeles. Like pop up point break nights and people do theater as point break. I love that movie. "I'm John Ireland. Ben Lyons is information. I promised. Breaking Luke Walton news here, it is ISIS spec. Did this would be the case? And I said at the top of the show, but I'm not privy to. I'm never in a meeting that would include rob Pelinka Magic Johnson. So I don't know. But there are reporters that that have sources in dig up this stuff. And if you're reading about the Lakers one guy, you can trust is Brad Turner. He's been on the beat forever. He's covered the NBA forever. Brad is very well connected. He covers the Lakers for the Los Angeles Times along with Tanya gun Guli. And Brad just posted an article to the L A times website, and I will read it to you. It says Luke Walton will definitely finish the season and has the full support of the Lakers front office. There have been no internal discussions about. Walton's job status in wake of the team's loss to Atlanta last night. According to people with knowledge of the situation not authorized to speak publicly on the matter. That's the same sense that I had that they're committed to let Luke see if he can win this way out of a win his way out of this. And ben. That's why he's going to go twenty and five right there. He knows he got he's got the car till the finish line. Greg has it's going to play with the Lakers, raw people. This Brad Turner reporting people are going to be very very upset. But we talked about it last night. Saying can I can I explore that though, you say people are going to be very very upset. Let's play their wish out to the end. Okay. So let's say the Lakers did fire the coach, right? Who do they want? They want money Williams..

"About Michael Beasley, a great score. How come we never finish with more than nine points? That's an excellent point too. But do it night in and night out. Gimme eighteen night for two year like consistencies not valued enough, especially with these older guys in the Lakers who have flashes of of. Wow here and their land can play the guitar every once in a while. But do it every night, brother? I gotta run just DeMarco far is on the line. And he's he he can beat the the two of us up. So I I feel like I need to get and he's got better movie reviews, the ninety two so all right Dopp and this show here in the weather. Thank you, brother. Stay dry. There's been lines demographer is gonna join us. We'll get your calls. I know people want to get into this Laker discussion. But we'll talk a little Rams with DeMarco do that next out to the social. Team ESPN LA. They put up a funny ten year challenge with Byron they found a picture of Byron with you know, coaches EP three and two thousand nine and then he standing next to me instead to downgrade Fisher DeMarco far joins us. He's an upgrade. He joins us here on this show on ESPN LA DeMarco. Main. How Maria I'm good, brother. Thank you so much for taking the time on a rainy day to join us. Before I get into the Rams. I was just having this debate with Ben Lyons. Who would if I told you right now, you could have one quarterback to win you a championship? And your choices are drew Brees Aaron Rodgers where you're going with. Oh, man. I gotta go with Rogers. You know, I I love drew Brees nothing against him. I think Sean, Payton and breeze have done a great job. But for my brand of football. And how I think I'd like to win games. I'd like to have Rogers as my quarterback. Like, what does he feel comfortable with that? What does he what does he do that you that that sets him apart from breeze in European? It's what he can't do. There's nothing. He can't do. There's nothing that I can't call or send in that. He can't run. I mean from read option on down to shotgun. And let's go verticals on ninety percent of our past place. He can just do anything. And no matter what you do defensively if you have a great pass rush interior outside. What have you great corners? Great safety's. He can still find ways to beat you it it really doesn't matter. What you do defensively? He still has a shot to beat you every he puts everybody on their heels constantly. Demographer hanging out with us. There is Rams on field. Analysts. You will be on the field in New Orleans against drew Brees and company. I I'm going to give you my hot take as to. Why think the Rams are gonna win and win comfortably? Okay. Here you go. Okay. God, I think that the Sheldon rankings in injury is as big an injury as New Orleans could suffer especially coming off the heels of a Rams team whose offensive line looked revitalised and C J Anderson and Todd Gurley. Just annihilating a good Cowboys defense. Like, if I'm if I'm Shawn and company, I am going people things are going to be a shootout..
