"If you want to move or monitor Stevenson to more of an early down role. Yeah. Yeah, great pick here. I think. Yeah, Michigan guy, big battering ram running back. Damien Harrison a contract here. Look, I think they're more likely to pay him than a lot of running backs in the past. He's taken a leadership role in the team. He's clearly very close with Robert Kraft. I think there's a chance he sticks around. I don't think that they're going to bet on that and pass on taking a running back. I think. That he's one of those guys Damien Harris that people around the league. He might not get the attention that some of the other running backs do league wide. He's not Derek Henry. He's not Nick Chubb. He's not one of those guys. But smart general managers around the league are going to realize how good of a back Damien Harris is when he gets free agency next year. So I think that they're going to have to compete for them. If they're going to want to keep them, he's going to be looking at, I think, a pretty decent contract. Running backs were tough to predict exactly what the contracts are going to be, but I think you're looking at a nice running back deal for a guy like Damien Harris. So Haskins, I watched a little bit of him. He's not electric, right? He's not a special runner with the football, but he gets what's blocked. He's like, to me, he's like kind of like a bigger Ben Jarvis green Ellis, right? Like he's not, he's bigger than Ben Jarvis greenhouse. If I am not mistaken. You know what he is? And they love this kind of bag. He doesn't lose..

"Mean, come on. That was a great coaching performance. Are there any other quarterbacks in the league that they could do that? Just three attempts in the game. Well, I mean, you got to have well, yeah, the ravens. I mean, the ravens should probably play that way. You're right. I mean, if the ravens had a better offensive line, that's been one of my issues with them. It's like they need to play a certain way, but they don't construct their team a certain way. The Patriots knew. All right, they knew what they had already in the strength of their offensive line. And by going with Mac Jones, they knew, all right, well, we're going to have to play in a certain manner to be successful. That means run the ball will be conservative in the passing game. We'll play good defense and good special teams. And that's the way it's worked. The ravens, they have a very un athletic offensive line, but they have a very athletic quarterback. It doesn't mesh. And so to me, that's always been their issue. But that's the way they should largely play a lot of these games. Bob and Palm Springs, you're next here in the Shah's patriots postgame show. He bomb springs. Yeah, actually on that point of Mac Jones. I just want to give him a lot of credit. A lot of quarterbacks in this league would not be cool with the idea of only being able to throw the ball three times. And you know what? He took his punches. He was cool with it. And you know what, at the end of the day, the result came through. They got the win. And now he's sitting at the top of the conference. Yeah. And especially with the elements tonight and what a factor that they were, like, whatever you get out of there with the win. And obviously, like, you know, the other thing it shows, I think how this team is meshed so well together. I just saw this quote from Matthew judon from a little while after the game. Hats off to the offense. Everybody probably besides Mac, he really didn't do nothing besides hand the ball off smart. Like he's joking around. I think it's a good sign when the defense likes the quarterback. Oh, he better look out for the Mac mafia. They might come at him. Were you saying? You say these are terrible quarterback? Is that what you're saying? No, but Judah is a good guy and he knows he knows how to poke fun and that's a great quote. And that's just to illustrate what a team victory was that he can stand up there and say, like, congrats to the offense. They all did great. Everybody except Mac, who was just out there as the caretaker. But like I said earlier, I bet you there were a lot of plays subtle plays calls checks that Mac Jones made at the line that really made a difference tonight that it's hard to discern that for us as laypeople. Taught enough north attleboro. Your next tour here on the show's patriot postgame show. Hey, Todd. Hey guys. First thing, I just heard that McDermott quote, while waiting on hold, what a joke. Right. It's so embarrassing. But my big thing is Belichick had a great plan, right? He committed to the weather, running the ball. Taking the wind, going for two, but what's up with the punt team? Why is anyone even back there? Never mind Nikhil Harry. What is the benefit of having someone back there? Yeah, you know what I'm going to double this up with Michael in Hawaii. I think he wants to ask something similar. Go ahead, Michael. Hey, guys. Thanks for standing up so late to take everybody's phone calls. Yes, I just was really confused that there would be anybody back on such a windy night to even take a kick, let alone the kill Harry. And I thought the subsequent pump was a patriots block. I also got fairly close to a ball when I think you just eliminate that from the game completely and you don't give the bills a short field there. And it would have been a much easier win. Also, just a quick point, so thrilled about the Patriots running back situation in this two headed monster of Harris and Stevenson. I'm just wondering Greg, when he thought the last time the Patriots running back situation was so strong. Thanks for taking the call. Thanks, Michael. Well, let's see on the on the punting. You know, I think it's just, in my opinion, this game is going to come down to field position or very well could have especially you're going with the wind or against the wind and if you get pinned back and there were a couple both punters had a couple of good punts that could have been down inside the 5 that ended up being touchbacks. And if that happens, that can change the game right there. All of a sudden you're going into the wind and you go three and out and it's sort of how the Patriots almost started the game and how the bills had great field position and then had the fumble. My guess on the Nikhil Harry thing is that they figured, you know, he's a big strong guy he'll be able to maybe have a little bit better body control in the wind and possibly withstand the punishment should he feel the ball. I don't have a problem with them having somebody back there. I would have rather had Jacoby Myers because he's got better hands and that's all I'm worried about in those circumstances. And about the two headed monster, a comparison. I mean, they weren't as flashy as these guys. These guys are obviously better, but I thought you know when they had like Ridley and Ben Jarvis green Ellis going like those guys and plus Danny woodhead. Oh, yeah. As the third down back, I thought that was a pretty good backfield. That's just guys that I have covered. You know, O 7 was that Sammy Morris got hurt that year, but was Corey Dylan on that team? No. No. Okay. So I'm not sure you guys would probably know that better than I would. But it's, I mean, I love those two guys. Stevenson's really blossomed a second half of the season, and his physicality is just. It's something else. And it's got to be punishing for an opposing defense to try to tackle that guy down after down. And he's really become the workhorse. He even did that against Tennessee. They had them out there for basically a long drive to seal the game when they had a lead. And so that's sort of his role at this point. Yeah, I mean, I don't know if it's closed, but I know the one that was always near and dear to my heart was that 90 16 that went to the Super Bowl you had Martin Curtis Martin Keith byers Sam Gase as fullback like, oh, no, that's a backfield. Let's go back to look, I mean, I'll go back to my childhood. The Patriots backfield that I loved was the 85 with the pony express. What was it Craig James? And who's the other guy? Damn, that was a damn good backfield basically carried that. I mean, when you have Tony Easton as your quarterback, you need the running game to be something. And that was Tony Collins. Yeah. That was a great backfield. All right, Greg, how are you getting back? You fly, drive, you're not. I'm flying. I'm flying out tomorrow afternoon, sleeping in a little bit after, you know, I'm sure it's going to be a very late night. And then I'll be back tomorrow and I'll be back in studio on Wednesday to give felger more of a hard time. All right, yeah, it's a big boy Wednesday. What would the Monday night game? So save travels will see you on Wednesday on philbin mass. Sounds good. Thanks, guys. Thanks. Greg but art of Boston sports journal Boston sports journal dot com. "Yeah, yeah, and I mean we can go through the list, but they're just I know people want to see especially raman ray Stevenson back. I just don't think it's gonna happen this year. I don't, I think. And look, if they want to bring them back, bring them back. You can't, they can't just have Damien Harrison bring the bold and be their backs. Take care. Even if it's just Harris Bolden and then Stevenson or Taylor, you need for uniform running Dax, you do. So one way or the other, they probably need another back, but they need another heavily rotational back. Whether it's one of those young guys stepping up into a bigger role or them signing somebody they need another back. Yeah. And Matt Jones is a really good play action passer in college from the gun. Not from under center, right? They didn't really run any under center play action at Alabama. So this is an offense that needs to play and spread formations. And I keep on going back to that 2011 offense because McDaniels was here in 2011 and he's coached that type of offense before and he's called that type of play calling before. So that to me is really the way that this offense needs to go. Remember, I think the leading rusher on that team might have been Danny woodhead. And the way that they were spreading the field and running the football, we could look that up. But he was definitely up there in terms of leading that team in rushing. So, all right, let's go over to the defense. It was Ben Jarvis green Alice, but you said 2011? Yeah. So was it Ben Jarvis grant LS in 2011? Then Jarvis green Ellis then Ridley then woodhead. Okay, so what had a decent amount of time? Where did he did have a 109 rushing yards that year? And three times. The clydesdale. All right, moving over to the defense. We could gush about Bill Belichick's game plan. All we wanted, it was great. Simulated pressures, dropping guys off the line of scrimmage into short zones, closing off the middle of the field, forcing Brady to hold the ball. Brady out the ball for 2.66 seconds on average, which for Brady's eternity. This is a guy that usually gets it out and 2.32 .35. So force him to throw hold the ball for almost 2.7 seconds is a really, really impressive feat by the Patriots, a great game plan, but I want to talk about some of the individual players because I think the game plan has been talked about a lot and we could go into it. But we were kind of turning the page here, right? I want to start with the good. How about Matt judon? And his fit in this system just been a terrific edition. Basically doing everything that they wanted to do. Whether he did blow an edge so I shouldn't say it really the run defense wasn't perfect. He got sucked in backside allowed Leonard fournette out on that one carry. But overall, just worth every penny. Yeah. We're at every they paid him so far. Yeah, he's been excellent. He's been done with a Mitchell slay, the guy in the red sleeves came to play. Shout out to him for the red sleeves 'cause he's a guy you want to spotlight. It makes him very easy to find. You don't really have to look that hard to find mat on the field. Yeah. He's been done. I mean, he probably should have had three sacks in that game. Yeah, and there could have been a couple more, whether it's holding, hands to the face, whatever you want to call it..

"On the other side the Jacksonville Jaguars what what I mean. Who is this running back dude? I don't even know this guy you mean, you mean James. Robinson who is Ross. You're you're one AA or or a football championship subdivision fan you went to state. Illinois State Guide. So. Here's the deal with these running backs if I'm playing one of them. And that's a big if because I prefer to be sitting on the sidelines here just to watch at Shakeout it's Chris Thompson the scat back got a little nugget for you here, Ross. Like Nuggets Love Nuggets I got a nugget for you in J. Gruden's eight four years as a head coach or offensive coordinator. His leading Reuters. Average fifteen receptions per season. Never more than twenty two. Average. You've got guys on talking Ben Jarvis Green. Adrian Peterson Alfred Morris like these guys just do not catch passes and you can say, well, it's the talent whatnot but Jay Gruden has always employed a scat back what dating back Giovanni Bernard and then of course Chris Thompson in Washington has Chris Thompson here in Jacksonville. So with the Jaguars expect going to be an underdog a hell of a lot this year they're going to be throwing a lot I think Chris Thompson is. Going to be out there quite a bit. So when I, when I, if I'm looking to play Jacksonville Gardner Minzhu is a low NDF option because they'll be playing from behind. This is going to be a good defense though so just be careful there but the front seven I think is particularly loaded and that's why James Robinson and Divino Zippo are probably on my bench this week I want to see how this shakes out. She was a low end kind of cheap the best option with some game script upside. Meanwhile, you're definitely playing DJ chart and I'm being a very, very close eye on La. Viscous. Chenault, the rookie wide receiver, the how how could they use him? Could he essentially play a Scott Back Kinda Role? It's not enough for me to consider playing him in a lineup in week one, but I definitely want to see what his role is. You're for Jacksonville they have no reason not to use him. This is a team that's GONNA lose a lot of games at the young guys involved. Let's move onto the bears and the lions. We know it's trubisky on the road in Detroit? Other than Allen Robinson is there a bear skill guy that should be your could be in any lineups? Yeah. I'd probably put three Cohen in my lineups. Now bears are on our narrow underdogs three point underdogs here so that that would suggest a moderately positive passing game script for Chicago..

"Law office of Carolyn Hernandez I keep thinking of like ESPN when the other is the running back Ben Jarvis green Alice them said a law they were called the law firm that I listen to everything you say you're in right now that's that's what I'm thinking about so your actions western San Diego I say why C. D. R. Y. juega for law school to the CDA guys so you know it's pretty much self explanatory because it's incredible down there the yeah and that that sort of sold it for me I was it was between here and and and sand I was gonna say were you working anywhere else I was looking a boy okay as between boys and and karrueche Tran and and I got a little bit better of a an offer plus the added benefit of livings and yet so it's kind of nice to meet you were born and raised here so it's nice to always get away for a little bit exam guessing you knew you're gonna come back I I had I definitely had in mind to come back but then as I lived in San Diego I sort of say well maybe you know I can just go visit Vegas everyone saw graduated that year realize how expensive it was to live in San Diego and the state taxes and you sent me a reality started to kick **** but I definitely I still took you know California bar license license in California as well so I have you know have a satellite office out in San Diego so you get like through the hardest ones yeah warning about a yeah that guy bang them out back to back and the thank god for that because I don't think I could try to go back and do it because at the time I took a California is three days long of three full this and unfortunately and it's also random assigned seating and I got sat next to my ex girlfriend from law school during the bar exam of the start of like a bad TV show it was a bit felt like it was scripted in on like I'm sitting next to my ex girlfriend was in a great break up there is we're in the San Diego convention center which seats of me aha thousand people okay any many people and it was random but we got sat next to each other and fortunately it you know so I added to the stress of this is your wife okay but I think the better story so I I was told was the only difference between tragedy and comedy this time that's right so that moment you sat down it was tragic but now you got an awesome story that fella tragic presenter that's Americans that definitely definitely worth that way I'd so god bless you for getting through that thank you you get done with school mass California bar you move back to do that and then bang out the bar here as well yeah I didn't put them both back to back to the they do have our favor in July so I did July bar out in San Diego came here work for a small firm out here and then did a study for the bar here and did in February and likely will pass both first time time good for yeah yeah because that I don't want to do that it never goes over of course I think the two states that they don't we already have a reciprocity yeah so I can't go anywhere else other than DC and and and things like that but I think I'm down with bar exams for you know that's exactly how I would feel bad for you guys because it takes so long for you to get the results yes like in our world they pop up in like sixty seconds on the computer screen which still feels like an eternity right like waiting for months like you guys have to do yeah it is it's rough it's it's it adds to the stress the situation not only you know good studying for the bar which I took in a few months and then and then actually doing it which is three full days which feels like a few months and now and then on top of a wait and then that extra time to to get the results is is nerve racket you gotta Todd I get it back to Vegas and it's also used used used a lawn you wanted to go into litigation I did well as I was going through law school I kind of took some different courses on on different areas of the law you know family bankruptcy the transactional work and I realize now that was really suited for my personality and what I wanted to do and then I Laclede mad when I was at Calistoga worked at litigation firm and that sort of gave me a his perspective on what I would be doing if I was a litigator how case would play out how to do discovery how to you know prosecuted case and so then I realized okay is what I want to do so I moved out here back to Vegas I joined up with a black and yellow and orange on it around for a while great firm to survive because it was really a a great mentor of mine to work with me to you know build up my skills because when you come out of Alaska you know nothing at all and so I mean it's it's so much like that I think it all feels rag I did but you know I'm I've my guys because I disagree always exactly the same right to come with the financer in the like all of you know I got a degree in finance and psych yeah that doesn't mean much right you are so much more on the job by age eighty eight it's always interesting to see how that translates it's the exact same for for attorneys you know as you always look at you know examples of you look at the pleadings and you'll see the bar number for the attorney and if it gets up there in the fifteen sixteen thousands any like our this guy might not noticed his us outside to read your he's a deer that like forty thousand block a lot of whatever whatever you're going to Iraq yeah revise your like of my surgery doesn't like badge numbers of like of you know what as you're moving through school so it's the same like that with with attorneys here with their bar numbers yep yeah so they started but I think was in the nineties actually doing it numerically but so anybody who's like in under under what is that like on earth thousand they're there they've been there for a long time but then but then you know so I'm I'm twelfth well with twelve thousand five ninety four okay so I think now they're in doubt the fourteen fifteen trucks on that because you got some respect out twelve thousand twelve thousand IRA this guy's been around I've been interning for nine years now so they're like all right he's he can and he's been doing that at some gray hair and it died it really helps so you work for Michael Bello for for how long about four years okay and I did Friday stuff there you know worked and worked on some appeals I did a lot of just general litigation you know people fighting over contracts right over real estate disputes commercial and residential landlord tenant so I got a real good feel of the the areas of litigation I can practice and and I didn't like any of it unfortunately so researchers yeah you know and I I just didn't I didn't like the idea of a lot of what we were doing was helping out people who could who didn't really need I mean they need to help but they they have the means to do whatever they wanted to do and and and so if I want a case for them it wasn't that exciting wasn't life it wasn't a life changing wasn't like a TV moment or anything like that or it wasn't something where I felt really accomplished at the end of the day they do some great work of course but it's just something where I I have more I like to sound a little corny but I like to do the work for the little guy and fight for the two years that there's nothing wrong with that you know you want to be the trenches along I wanted to be in a trance I want to help people and so I found locally and and and thankfully B. for Tasia allowed me to explore other areas and she's again if you know if you're not like in this one you take a look at you know take a continuing on course and see if there's some other areas of litigation want to DO and I found there and practice and which schools do that's awesome that's awesome will be back with Kevin Hernandez from the law office of Kevin Hernandez after these messages on Las Vegas money resource every year tens of thousands of youth experience homelessness I didn't know how they were having I just.

Maybe probably not. Play two thousand seven to two thousand ten forty seven games. What position did you play? Running back. Ben Jarvis Green Ellis, no, he's on here though he did not catch one. Ben Jarvis had. Twenty six catches. Forty nine forty nine catches, no touchdowns. From the running back spot now, woodhead right, nope! Now, he's scored on the Gary. No? Must have one on. Damn. You I think he does actually. Ridley for reference had twenty three catches. Wow double that almost. FUCKING Really has the most games fifty two games that sense tell us four. Did I catch us? Because I almost said Heath Evans, but that would have been lie I think he's caught on James Devlin, never did. He did but it was in the playoffs James Stephenson. "Speaking of a good fit or not. Scott Zack. Mall UTAH. Talk to me. Yes so says Zac. Moss is another one of my favorites. He just forced a bazillion. Missed tackles at college which is one of the again. Most predictive stats for looking at a college running back and project to the NFL level. You look at the best college running back spine. This tackles force. It's a WHO's who of you know. The leagues most productive fantasy running backs down and cookout. Kamara Chris McCaffrey. Creamy pints seper David Montgomery who may or may not be a bust and the one with David Montgomery was he lacked. initial bursts. He lacked Top End Speed and unfortunately ZAC MOSS Really disappointing combine. It's clear teams are interested in hand. Thirteen team visits at the combine. Which is Almost more than twice the next closest running back but four point six five forty year dash really disappointing. Adam Schefter tweeted immediately after that Zach. Moss tweaked his hamstring during the vertical jump and he decided to push through the forty yet and drills anyway Yeah I don't I don't know if that's just a savvy agents China trying to cover up a bad forty or now if teams have to worry about Zach mosses lengthy injury history which he certainly had in college. So definitely disappointing. Day For for Zach. Masa player I I still love. But he's definitely a combine loser. There were two guys I watched. Ross Zac Moss. Being one of them Scott actually brought up. Kareem Hunt Moss. Kinda remind me of Kareem Hunt. And when I I love Kareem Hunt and I remember talking to my buddy Grand Barfield about this. When Hunt came out of Toledo I was like the guy's a weeble a weeble wobble. He doesn't fall out. He just has amazing balance. And Zach Moss kind of fit that to me. The one problem here in Scott alluded to it was cream hunt at a much better. I believe. Vertical and broad jump at the combine. Then Zac Moss did so. Hopefully the injury excuses legitimate but there is another guy who I thought had great balance was a great receiver in college. A great pass protector but really did not show well at the combine and that was Clyde Edwards Allaire from Lsu The thing about Edwards Allaire though though five seven to seven small. He is stout he did not run a good forty at four six however the vertical and the broad jump were exceptional for him and Scott. This is a question for you when it comes to Edwards Allaire because I think you might have liked his film as well. The forty was not good. The size is not good. The bench press was not good however that lower body explosion. I actually think that did show up on film. Even if he doesn't have the long speed so how do you reevaluate him? Coming out of the combine. Yes the bench for us. Pretty much doesn't matter at all for running backs But like I said earlier the vert and abroad. Trump were the second and third most predictive events when predicting fantasy points which surprisingly above three cone which which I wouldn't have expected. And Yeah that's a measure. I think of explosiveness Strong legs easy to have tacklers bounce off you. It was a disappointing Combined I guess but everything I'm hearing is that It doesn't matter Teams are still salivating over the chance to draft him on day to And you can look back through the combine data. There's a lot of really talented running backs with a similar height weight. Forty combination To Edward Solaire which was mark. Ingram Chris Carson Shaun Alexander Kareem Hunt Frank Gore Ben Jarvis Green ls on that way forty BMI range And and this is a guy who you like you said you know. The tape speaks for itself And he caught. What fifty five balls at the SEC? That just doesn't happen. So you have to feel good about his vow potential at the next level in fantasy. That's what you want. Is The guys were catching. Passes racking up those p. p. r. points standing on the field on third down so disappointing combine. But but still a player to like for for dynasty and sees leaks. Joe What about Darren Evans from APP STATE? I know he caught your eye. Yeah I mean way under the radar type of guy who I think probably many would would have put into the maybe mid day three like a fifth round range here but he was productive in college. And when you're talking about things that matter Will Scotch. Us brought them up broad jump. According to MOCK DRAFT DOT COM eighth percentile vertical jump Eightieth percentile. And on top of that he had an forty at four four. One which is the eighty nine th percentile. Am I think there are some things on his film that you might not alike? wasn't necessarily the toughest runner inside but this guy was super explosive at the combine. And when you post those kind of explosiveness scores you're going to get drafted. I think he might sneak into day to now maybe a late third round potentially maybe an early fourth round pick but he is certainly somebody in the right spot behind a good offensive line. This guy could create some big plays. I don't know what you thought of him. Scott but this is a guy who at the combine I think kind of stood out among his peers? Yes so he definitely had a really. Good Day I think by my composite score. I had the Andrea swift and cankers. Little bit better But he was in that E-e-e-e-no Benjamin Joshua Kelly Here and yeah. I liked him too. He glances relying content to Ronald Jones. He has some third-down ability he can return punts and kicks teams are. GonNa like that Definitely definitely guy who helped his is his status come draft day. Let's get to wide receivers which I think is interesting because in your notes to me Scott. You said combine doesn't matter for receivers like yeah I mean I wish I would have been the guy like Clyde Edwards Hilar- who runs a really crappy time and everybody immediately says that doesn't matter per ham now doesn't matter it doesn't matter it doesn't matter like I decided to head of time who the forty time matters for an dozen evidently for Edward to layer. It didn't matter at all. I wish people would have told me that when I was coming out. Now you're telling me wide receivers nothing matters. Yes so I mean it's massively massively overrated and it might not even really matter to the NSO. Before I said for tight ends at speed score for running back Steve. Score for wide receivers d you combine variable that correlates best to fantasy points at the next level is weight and then speed score and an age. So it's like these correlations are way less than for running backs and tight ends. And so like. Here's here's a really a nifty anecdote for you guys so you look at all wide receivers who were drafted in the second round and participate in the combine since two thousand. That's when my data goes back so second round wide receivers invited to the combine the Mo the the the events with the highest correlations to fantasy points where the garage jump the three cone and speed score except they were all negative correlations. So it saying these are the three most important events but the less athletic you are the more fantasy points. We should expect score. Obviously super counterintuitive. But it's just an remember that none of these events matters much draft capital capital and draft capitalist influenced by how aesthetic you are surreally. The numbers are implying. Nfl teams after round one. Nfl teams might just be better off completely ignoring the combine for wide receivers. And Yeah I mean like it makes sense to me. wide receivers. How often running full speed on their routes? There's a lot of There's things you can measure like a three phone and those things you can't measure like route running prowess your ability to be press coverage and the data saying that that's more important than these I mean. Like how does broaden vert even measure explosiveness? Probably not that great but again like the second round wide receivers Michael Thomas Davante Adams Allen Robinson and Kwan Bulletin Jarvis. Landry Tyler Boyd Chad Johnson. All bad combines the the wide receivers amazing combines the Paul Richardson's of the world's Eddie Royal I mean Greg Little Stephen Hell yeah so so again. All the data suggests at least massively overrated matters way less than NFL teams. Think it does and it might just not even matter. Ross if you look at Jarvis Landry is combine spider graph up at mock draft DOT com. You might get the impression that this guy might be the least athletic person the NFL. I'm not even exaggerating. You might be like Rob Kelley level athlete yet. He's caught what five six hundred passes in his NFL career. So Scott does that Mean College. Production matters more. Does it mean film study matters more? What what what do you think actually does correlate from college with wide receivers into the NFL? Yes so the thing that correlates best is is my personal model that I created an after that is draft capital Massively more than any single combine events and remember for wide receivers. The correlations are basically zero overall. And that's with the fact that forty yard dash has a massive impact on on draft capital. Like where they're taking the draft but yet so in my model What's what's heavily. Weighted is yards for route run which at the NFL level is easily the best efficiency stat for predicting fantasy points Early early year breakout age. So the the earlier earlier you broke out in College. Put up big numbers how how young you are like no Juju Smith. Schuster had his first one hundred yard game when he was seventeen years old. That's a really strong positive indicator of talent because you're operating at a unfair at a disadvantage because you're not done growing your inexperienced your fresh. Outta high school and you're still dominating in college against guys who are three years bigger three years older than you three years more experience than you so chances are you know when you're three years older. You're going to be that much better. YOU'RE GONNA at the NFL level you know. The the growing pains aren't going to be a severe for you. that dominator rating yardage marketshare touchdown market share. We WanNa see guys who you know who racked up a ton of yardage and a high percentage of the teams total passing offense. Chances Are you're getting thirty nine percent of your team's passing yards. You're really good So those are some of the things that I think. Will the numbers bear out as being massively more important than say forty or dash vert three cone so my question is let's let's let's use a guy an example here? Obviously I mean this has been awesome. Ross we know that it's gone long but let's use a guy like Justin Jefferson that've Lsu for example because he didn't play a whole lot his freshman year so his breakout ages is mediocre at best his second year he was relatively productive. But it was in an offense with Joe Borough. Hey Look I mean coming into this year we might have thought Joe. Borough was like fifth sixth seventh round. Pick now he's going to be the number one overall pick and then in a as a junior. When this entire offense changed he comes out. He catches one hundred sixteen passes. He scores twelve thirteen fourteen touchdowns he goes over fifteen hundred yards receiving and then he has a good combine. How do you reconcile all that stuff? Early breakout age market. Share all that with a guy who was in a couple of different offenses that clearly improved across the board in his final year in college. Does that make him a tricky evaluation because he was somebody who stood out to me at the combine? Yet what he? He's also one of the youngest by receivers in his class. So he definitely does have a early career breakout aged he he less owed dominator rating because. Jomar chase lit up the world but you know overall raw numbers really strong and Mike. You said he probably know. Offensive Player helped their draft stock more than shopping. Justin Jefferson because one of the question marks apparently was his his speed My question is how much does that that that matter for big slot like like look at all the big slots like Larry Fitzgerald at this point is career Keenan Allen Jordan. Mathews like these guys are really bad. Combines does the fact that this guy is super athletic. Make him that much more valuable or is it sort of a position where it doesn't doesn't matter so much? I don't know but but I do know teams teams. It matters a lot more to teams than the data bears out now. He's probably pushing late. I consideration. I think he's a lock for the first round at this point because I think this is just my opinion I think the big your rugs. Your Judy and your lamb. I think those guys might all go top fifteen at this point i. It's just I think Justin Jefferson's like almost a guaranteed first round. Pick AFTER THAT AGAIN. Though he he ran ninety nine percent of his routes from slot last year. And like. I don't know why you would take. That's just like a position. That so easily replaceable. Like Tyler Johnson saying the combine doesn't matter Tyler Johnson's numbers by everything that matters blows Justin Jefferson's out of the water. You can get him midday. Three I don't know this is not a position I I really value too much. I don't Wanna I mean maybe I'm being unfair because he did run outside a little bit the year before so so maybe he can move to the outside. But I think that's the big question.

"The sound from the Miami Dolphins beat the patriots week seventeen which ultimately kept the patriots from having a body and then ultimately getting a run out of the AFC playoff picture by the literally run out of the playoff picture by Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans a guy who is played out for the Titans among several other teams Ryan Fitzpatrick going to join us from radio row in Miami in just a moment here but people checking out of a desperate tax line seven oh seven checks and we were talking NBA all stars just a moment ago the reserves announced yesterday no warriors on that list seven a seven on the casket touch line so you're not gonna mention how there's a new scoring set up quarter by quarter for the NBA all star game and now the fourth quarter and how the fourth quarter is going to go now yeah they've changed the way traditional basketball it's played in the all star game the keypad and bells and whistles to this thing and I want to respond to this guy was a Hey we get two weeks to talk about stuff after the Superbowl ends before the the all star game starts let's not tell us I use all our material today but we have to get up with Merrill Hodge Ryan Fitzpatrick we get a Superbowl like I don't want to use all the February sports talk stuff we're gonna need somebody to get the bear with me during that two weeks were like Hey we got we got a complaint for a half hour about the new the new NBA all star rules we will we will talked at length about that a little bit later but said today we're gonna focus I think on on the NFL nine one six six and to say we can still talk except for all what's the events yeah that's right around the corner and those games are gonna be televised by the way the other thing we can focus on a novel focus on it but it's something to pay attention to the Oakland Panthers Marshawn Lynch's new array I guess it's the indoor football league IFL team and they're gonna start over at oracle arena I sometimes think it's in March is their first game so they're gonna be at like a thirteen or fourteen game IFL season they'll be in the same the same league as some of these older arena league teams a bunch of a member of merging I think was at the indoor football championship league or something to me he originally give now merger actually the home of those games is over on KNBR ten fifty so yeah we'll what we'll have more football to pay attention to some indoor football field Seaver cabs growl thank you finds his Miami fan here in the bay still do your fits madrick we are making the connection with him right now before we do that let's get a little bit more this cal Shanahan sound before Ryan Fitzpatrick joins us from Miami no I'm couch in hand we told you just a few minutes ago or wish we played this out for you in the last segment about him excited about the prospects of being prepared already because of sort having this make up of what it took to be on the road for two weeks at a time get prepared for a game not in your home stadium and they did that twice this year he says he feels like they're all prepped the other side of this is what's right about you gonna use it was a Tevin Coleman season that it became kind of a mat breed was certain games in most was jumping all over stuff I know most are clearly the bell cow but it wouldn't shock anybody if they came into this game and it was an evenly distributed run game or if it was as for some reason Tevin Coleman shoulder which appears to be feeling pretty good he he looks like he's a a go for Sunday what a shock anybody if Tevin Coleman was the bald guy on Sunday I don't think it would be if it was breeder for some reason I don't think it will be MapReduce kind of in the third guy now with the the change of speed sort of step back type of guy but it wouldn't shock me at all if either of the three or any of the three ended up being the number one that number one guy the other side of this is it would surprise me if the forty Niners any larger passing attack than anticipated number yesterday Greg Cosell on with Murph and mac at a great line about how you do not need to establish the run from a a coming into the game running game standpoint because you've mentally already done that in that the Kansas City Chiefs are expecting you to do everything out of that zone run scheme like you've done all season long today as Palestinian yesterday with all the running backs healthy and it seems like they're going to be telling Coleman should be out there you have this luxury for the last few weeks is there a guy you plan to go to a little more than the others when all our backs are healthy we we usually use all of them so and you know whoever gets the hot hand ends up going well we all know that was he mostly the second half of the year haven't had as time members Minnesota and and they both helped and the Green Bay game but we know how big green moss hopefully will have all those guys going full speed time I expect them to be yeah so that's that's pretty good stuff there in talking about them being healthy of telling Coleman's able to go he's probably your goal line guy your third down die he may even start the game and then most third he's just a different style runners feels like the way he gets to the line in through the line I was watching an interview yesterday with David Carr on the NFL network and he was interviewing Russell Wilson and asked his opinion about this game I because Russell Wilson sacked seven different times by the fourteen hundred decline this year talk to him about the mobility in getting out of the pocket and what the forty niner defense allows you to do and he said he thinks obviously there was talk about games being won and lost in the trenches he said this is even maybe less about the forty Niners defensive line and more about the protection of the chiefs offense of line can give to our Patrick mon Dieu says they will make you move in when they make you move things break down in the secondary things are obviously a little different I think for the chiefs offense than for Russell Wilson's offense more weapons for Patrick my homes maybe even a better arm for Pat my homes then for Russell Wilson but the mobility of him able to get out of the pocket you've got to be able to improvise he says in and a lot of times as the liner bearing down on you you got to know when it's okay to take the sack as well so Russell Wilson took seven of those this year any also what one in one and and I'm talking to you know miss that other game by a hair this could have been an entirely different post season if if not for the drink a lot tackle and if not for the patriots losing to Miami in New England to wrap up the season more from occassion and here are talking more about this run game this is going to be a major talking point after the game on Sunday whether it's because the forty Niners won or lost the game I think a lot of this is going to come down to how they ran the football member the Shanahan line from the Vikings game whoever runs the ball thirty times first is going to win the game I don't know that that she should ever going to run the ball thirty times even if they do win the game if the forty Niners do run a thirty to thirty five times it's likely that they come away the Victor so how's your hand on the Kansas City Chiefs defense and how well they do and stop in the room can the city even they they can take away what they want to take away so that Manson Kita these games when you go against good defenses as you got to be able to do everything and of course every once around the ball there's any time in the game knows when on they're gonna take that away and you got to be able to counteract that and when you counteract that it opens up other stuff and that's how you keep people off balanced and the more you can do both the better you'll do and vice versa for them so versatility is what he's talking about I guess that all comes into play when you're discussing which running back is is the guy to use right so out more from the rest from yesterday because they talk more itself seems like about the game that about it just sort of the fun you know who's got the best smile on the team who's got the who's the best dressed up on the team that's the first few days of Super Bowl media we then you get into Thursday and Friday and you start really grinding down onto the predictions for the game and how this thing's going to play out but they asked me to rob Lowe sort of about the same thing with this run game even on these patriots teams were just so many different people touch the ball that's always been a frustrating thing to me about the patriots with fantasy football being I'm a big fantasy guy you never know outside of Tom Brady who the hot hand is going to be like the one two thousand seven season when it was he and Randy moss and Gronkowski you can always count on the eat and Randy moss and and Tom Brady but you never know which running back it's going to be you never know if it was gonna be like Ben Jarvis green Alistair Corey Dillon or Rexburg cader James why do they get a million to forget what Derek blunt you never know with the patriots which guy it's going to be in any given week sort of similar to the way cal Shannon is done things if you're one step further back it's very similar to how Mike Shanahan used to do things I remember some of those old brought those teams same thing though the the the frustration with the football not knowing which running back it's going to be and if it's frustrating for you as a fantasy order a magic how frustrating it is for defensive coordinators on the other side in talking to don to winter a couple weeks ago he said when you're in the secondary or your other linebacker position and you look up and you see a different guy in the back field and you saw the previous two downs you start to think differently about what their approach to this play college going to be you start wondering is going to be a screen pass because you've got a better pass catcher I'll be bringing a second guy just a block right now are they going to not come up the middle because they have done that a couple of times with a big running back to me do a little end around this time it's entirely different based on who you see in the backfield and then frequently you can open a passing Wednesday and I think that's one of the advantages to having the two back offense because it you know you have two running backs into both catch the ball out of there like a Roger Craig I used Jack are Tom Rath been back in the day I like the two back offense because it give you tight end running back all wide receiver options all out of the backfield and you know usually have a save your linebacker governor bush in and do this exact same thing in Atlanta we had that you run induction Tevin Coleman and then it was at seven Coleman and demonte Freeman or that you guys are talking about I looks like we have made the connection with Ryan Fitzpatrick down in Miami he's getting situated there in our can be our table on radio row I we will tell you here that.

"And then jump into the top five and now you're talking about. I think elite talents men and there's going to be reasons why summer ranked higher than others but were to get the number five and a lot of listeners will wanna hear about this one so we're gonna go with buckeye nations own newly own just didn't feel at quarterback and so the question is what receiver would i put with. Justin fields feels as the duo yeah. I mean there's a bunch to choose from. There's a alec four. There's three to pick. I mean there's definitely so you had the you're gonna have your main the three and then you're gonna have that that everyone's talking about 'cause they're young criolla a gary wilson. I think it's premature to put them in that conversation as the top receiver and now they may end up being that but out of the big three who who do you think who do you think i'm gonna put their between k. J. hill austin mac and ben victor. I think cagey would be the most popular picker. Certainly i would put ben. I put austin so occasions. My favorite the the issue here is cages about the rewrite the record books right and he he's an absolute absolute polished probably the best overall receiver at ohio state and he's going to be an excellent n._f._l. Receive reason to be an excellent football player and he's going to be a a nationally ashley relevant name for sure and austin. If austin stays healthy he'll be one of the best in the big ten for sure. The guy on putting with justin feels ben victor and here's why he has talent to be the top five draft pick receiver now. Will he be obviously time will tell he's shown flashes last year and he's shown ability but it's will he develop up into that consistent freak because he was looked at at ohio state and by people in recruiting and by people in practice he'd make a play here narrow. You'd you like jesus man that is a._j. Green yes that's how free and he looks like and so from the reports. I've gotten from people. I know in the program with how his summer went how he's playing playing right now and obviously is really early trading on. We can't even count that. Most of these practices have been paddling so how he's playing right now. He could be poised for a ridiculous year so i'm put justin feels and victor has the number five duo in college football and that's not even a knock on cager austin but that's just i i think ben could explode and have the year that people been waiting for him to have we'll. Oh have you seen any of the throws that justin's been making an indus flicks the risks and it goes. I mean we've talked about it he. He's as far as talent at quarterback. He's one of the top in the country. I i was coming out of high. School is still now. It's going to be about his experience and complained. Quarterbacks not just flicking a ball thrown a depot now he can do that. He can do that with the best of them. It's going to be about managing the game just flipping protections protecting himself identifying defenses and then under pressure making throws when guys barreling down on him will. He released the ball on target. It's those little things that people don't look at it. They just see a kit. Throw a deep ball and it spins pretty and it's right on the money and they're like oh. My god just feels. It's going to be so good. You're like yeah. I mean he could could be. That's the point. That's why people were even talking about him. More that goes into one of the things i see a lot with young quarterbacks as they don't anticipate a receiver being open they wait until they're open to throw the ball yet timing timing zahren that that leads to turnovers. That's that was that was j. t. barrett he needed to see a receiver open before he threw it and he was. That's why he was late all the time. It wasn't that he didn't have the arm couldn't do it. He just wanted to see that kid open throat and a lot of times. You have to throw them open well. There's times that too. That's for sure. I says number five number four. I'm going j._t. Daniels at u._s._c. let's see and <hes> this was a tough one for michael. Pittman junior is going to be the best receiver coming back however they have tyler volunteers and other great receiver but the one that i'm excited to watch this year is a monroe saying brown. He was the top receiver in the country coming out that we tried to recruit now. He was always a heavy leaned u._s._c. so we'd never got into it but as far as an evaluation standpoint in in his class he was my favorite receiver and he was. I think he entered if he wasn't the number one in the country. They screwed it up. <hes> i know he was way up there but he dominated everything he dominated the openings openings and all those things and then he's so. I'm excited to watch that that skill group. That's why i said you watch out for u._s._c. They got a young quarterback. Who's really good. He's just young and they have three receivers that are legit legit and so i think michael pittman junior j. t._d. Daniels is going to be a a staple duo in college football especially because he has a guy like a monroe monroe saying brown and then tyler vaughn's to take some heat off of him. That might be my favorite name that i've heard so far a monroe saint brown a mantra day. You know what they got a lot of names. Their her name's mixed into one the yeah he he's. He's got the name for the n._f._l. That's for sure definitely ben jarvis green out lower the law firm so that's that's number four number three buckeye fans number three shape patterson and dp jay. You gotta you gotta do it. Patterson has onfield success <hes>. It wasn't ridiculous ridiculous but he was successful. He's shown that he has a talent. He's got a veteran group coming back and donovan people's. John's was the best receiver in the country. When he came out he was in. I mean he was ahead of ahead of jerry judy. It might have been the same class. I think i think it was. They're both juniors and it was devas- trayvon grimes times dp j. jerry judy <hes> <hes> and so i think dp jay is poised to have a ridiculous year and he's gonna. He caused problems last year anytime you have a tall big big receiver like that that is their part returner out. He's here had good punt returner to jones. He's a freak. He's a freak athlete and what makes it even better. He's he's. He's brilliant. I mean he wanted to become a doctor. He he's very smart very a great kid. I mean that you sometimes people don't care about that stuff but that stuff matters especially when it comes to development in what's he gonna do from sophomore junior years. I don't know is he a lazy piece of shit. No deejays probably a heart. I don't i'm not a michigan but he guarantees a really hard worker. I guarantee he's a a brilliant receiver brilliant football player and i guarantee you. He's been putting in the work so i i look for them to have a dynamic year. Those two together and again going back to his it does he have the supporting cast to help them thrive and he's got tariq black nico collins and he's got some talent around him so it'll be really interesting to see how great that you're is in. It'll be really interesting to see how teams defend them because that's going to be the key is like how do you stop a guy like dp jay and went anywhere you're alabama and only throwing amari cooper every play will it's easy to take take him out if if they are their offense spread the ball around and just letting him thrive in his role as going to be a tough one to stop well. That's what brought gaddis into do yeah well. I'm with you. I'm within the jury's still out on gas. I like some stuff. He's talked about but i know that a lot of people in alabama land especially nick sabin blame him for the lack of preparation. They lost the national championship game as kind of how he got pushed out and so again. I don't know a met him once or twice. I really i've watched. I mentioned it before. I've watched a couple clinics and things he's done. I think he got he knows football. Well i think i think he's got some good stuff going from what i've watched from there. They're spraying and some of the stuff they're doing on offense. I like it. It'll be interesting to see if he's he's the real deal or fees. If if kind of saban's blame fell on the right shoulder you know what i mean so then we get our top two when and i think everyone knows who the top two are in a matter of who's one who's to right so that that is the question that the second best tandem in college football is is going to be in tuscaloosa now i will. I'm going to pick who i think will be with to <hes> because obviously to as the quarterback that is in my opinion one of the top. I think he's a second best quarterback in college football. Obviously an off season can change who one who's too but he's he's in that conversation rightfully so and i think it's the second best quarterback in college football and i think his best receiver who will be the best receiver in the country's jerry judy and here's why <hes> i know jalen waddell was was the top one of the top rated receivers a number seven grade receive run pro football focus best returning deep threat combo but <hes> jerry judaism most talented receiver that i saw in the country he didn't he had he had had a lot to refine and work on but i think i mean if anyone's going to develop and hone that talent it's alabama for sure and so <hes> it's gonna be <hes>. It's going to be interesting. I looked for those to to really come out and put on a clinic for jerry judy to be in the conversation for the belichick off if not win it. I think he will win. It depend on house. I was years goes if he can stay healthy and then not to. We'll be in that heisman conversation so that's that's number two and then obviously this leads to the top tandem tandem in college. Football has got to be trevor lawrence justin ross. You have the top quarterback in the country in my opinion and the highest grade returning receiver in the country and justin ross you get-go against that and it's not just a lone soldier he's got t- higginson there who was a top ten receiver graded last year so clemson people wanted to hawaii clemson dominant look at this. They have the amount of talent on their roster his just on just one side of the ball but it's not only talent. It's they do a great job of developing because you look at recruiting crude rankings and then it's not like they've been one or two every year. They're they're like five seven eight and it's just they get the right pieces and develop them in those kids just ball out out. They get the production. That's definitely get the production that's for sure so i look for that to be the top tandem in college football trevor lawrence justin ross and that's. I think that's a solid list now. A couple that i think are kinda to keep an eye on or maybe just outside of the top ten one is kelly bryant transfer into missouri from from clemson because he was a the the top dual threat quarterback in the country until trevor lawrence was named the guy and he left right and they have they have who's a preseason all american the best tight end in the country. I'm ninety tri-series last name but albert however you say his last name our no albert albert oh he's got and i think i think that could be a great dane. Obviously is not a receiver lever but but he'll be a dominant tight end and that's gonna issue is what is surrounding kelly bryant and missouri and then also won this kind of off the grid both pre k. preseason conference up first team. All mac players nathan work the quarterback at ohio you and he had really good receiver cameron owed him down there and so to be interesting to see the numbers. They put up kind of in that etfs e._s. level or not s._e. What is it non power. Five level of college football yeah nathan roar guy. I was surprised that he graded out extremely well <hes> last year and was a top quarterback in the country twenty-five thank you know he's going to be. It's going to be really cool. I've so ohio university's predicted win. The mac and it's going to be interesting to see how that do. Oh kind of developed develops this year..

"If you went to Miami Rich, Paul would have to take a back seat that ain't happening like they have they have evolved in their own in their own mind, and in reality, they've evolved an elevated themselves since then now they have the TV shows they have all this other business and part of the Miami thing, which drove Pat Riley nuts was he wanted to have his guys constantly involved. And that's not how they wanna roll in Miami. Even if they were far more successful than the Brown was there that that that's the one place where his family would be kind of home. But I just don't see it with brawny getting ready to start high school soon within you know, fully kind of integrated into the community. Like, it's not happening. Just like anyone who has three kids go like, oh, hey, let's move. I moved to you. I I was I was at ESPN moved a lot with a bunch of kids. How do you think that worked out at home? Right. And I'm not LeBron James like my. Kids worn as old. It's the older. They get the harder. It is to go. Like, hey, all those friendships you just made your new AU team. All that stuff. Like, let's go like, no miserable. He's got three kids. Like, it's not happening. Doesn't happen doesn't unless you unless he wants to get a divorce and doesn't care about his kids. And he seems to be a pretty good dad like isn't happening plus his brands too strong. It's just not doing it. No matter how much damage has been done to his brand based upon his own injury. And then not not make the playoffs as of now. He's received a miniscule part of the blame for what's gone wrong with the Lakers. He'll even stop it. He doesn't want and and in the NBA, especially when you're blue LeBron James if you don't wanna be traded. You're not going to be traded. Now, didn't you use to have six kids, but you lost three in the move? No idea. What happened to them? Right. Yeah. Somebody's got three. Really good ones. I got three bad ones. I don't know what happened now just real quick. 'cause I thought about did you name your kids thinking that when their names were said like when the batting order. It would sound great. No, adding second Hayes to for four last night. Batting third is Harper homerun each of the last three games. I mean that sounds pretty cool. I it does sound pretty cool. No, my wife went through the possible negative nicknames. All that's all. Yeah. My white. We did that to one point could lots of the called when that happens. Just like, okay. I don't really now. See that one. You know, the the biggest waste of time you spend when your name and your children, you know, this because you have middle name, you really spend a lot of time agonizing over the middle name, and we have three cool middle names. It sounds like an accountant sure, it's not a basketball player. That's an accountant. All right. So yeah. Your point guard dog Liz, Mitchell, godly freedom. Good. The oldest old if the hyphen names, I'm waiting for the triple hyphen name, right? The Michael Carter Williams Smith at some point happen. Right. And they'll be a double hyphenated. It'd be like four names Michael Carter Williams Smith. Whose law for Ben Jarvis green Ellis right from Jarvis green Ellis. Yes. That's three. But there'll be another one because they'll be to hyphenated names, and they get married, and they wanna make sure everybody's name as representing. You're just like man you're going to have to because now we've gotten to the point where dudes have a kid, and they put senior on the back of their Steve Smith. So. Yeah. Yeah. Sure that cetera et cetera. Willie Snead is Willie Snead the forthright isn't he's got the IV the on the back of his and I'm the we're gonna miss..

I I hate discussing things that are that are one hundred percent not going to happen. You know what I mean? Like one hundred percent not gonna happen. Like, there's there's a hater better better. Better percentage. Chance of colonizing the moon during my lifetime than there is of the Brian James being treated just because the reality of the situation. Hey, I'm watching Jalen rose say he should go in there and demand that trade where where do you have three kids you just moved to Los Angeles. Where are you going to pick up and move your family again? Like, I we operate in this like this like there's there's sports world. And then there's real world and we act like the two don't combine like good luck with that. Good luck with walkie and going. Hey, Ken, pack it up. We're gonna move to. Where's the location? Tell me where it exists because there's not a reality to it one. His brand is so big ain't going any of these other markets hay playing for Jim Dolan, period. Stop and a story. You don't play for the nets. I'm not sure. The nets won him. And you don't go play for the nets. And he can't go play for the clippers clippers on the early one. Plus, you don't go Lakers clippers and you just don't. So what are you going to say? Hey, Honey, let's play for the bulls. Where were the second biggest I ever? I mean, you think people don't think he's the great thing. People think Kobe's better have about Chicago. Plus, you're not moving his wife and kids like they're not moving. It's not happening. Don't discuss it. Don't discuss things. That are not a possibility and then start from there. What what has a possibility of happening? We could colonize the moon in my lifetime before the brunt. Etcetera, etcetera, Willie Snead is released need the forthright isn't he's got the I v the on the back of his before. So we're going to. IBM? Twitter out. How about a Fresca? Doug at Gottlieb show. Jason Smith Doug Ali been for Dan. All right. So last night we watched the Sixers and blazers both force game seven and watching the Sixers game last night. I think it's it's clear to everybody. Joel Embiid had a big game plus forty which you never see me come plus forty for game him in Michael Scott. That's what she said. Oh, it had big the big plus minus his last night, but watching this game and actually seeing how this is evolved over the course of the past few weeks, a couple of months is that while Joel Embiid, and Ben Simmons clearly are the more talented players. Jimmy Butler is the MVP this team. I mean, this is what the what he does enable to cover up for the faults of the other guys Ben Simmons not able to jump shot. Joel Embiid taking nights off. He's a playoff guy. He's a playoff guy. That's gonna take bigshots make big plays. And you look at the the end of this first half the sequence where he hits the jumper with nine seconds left thirteen point lead. All right. The raptors come down for the last shot strips Kawai. Goes in for a layup where many players with looked up at the clock and said, oh, I got it. Stop and take a jumper with one point five seconds left. Instead of going to go to the Cup in with less than a second left. They're up by fifteen. The place is going crazy teammates jumping on top. He's got his hands up. Come on. He's that special kind of guy that can grab a team and say, okay, this moment is not too big. For me. We need a basket. I'll be able to do it not somebody that can be around team more than two or three years because we've seen a brace of as he is. But he's kind of like the the Bill Parcells of players, right? Can be around for a couple of years. And then I have to go someplace else, but he is like he is everything this team needs right now. Yeah. Yeah. He is. I not nothing. You said is incorrect there. He's a tremendous competitive, dude, who you got to put up with the fact that there's a there's a born on date there. And which she got you got to get rid of them at some point. He's a ride pick his own Uber. XL two the arena, which is you know, he does of just does is own little Hollywood thing there, and he lives by this credo that he has to be the toughest guy and the smartest guy on every team. And then you have you just have a really weird mix in Philadelphia. Right. Like, you got the super Joel Embiid. I generally fall on the side of that guy has the talent. And even at his position to be baby. The greatest player to ever play basketball. Like, he's that dynamic like, they just don't make men human beings that big that fluid and that skilled, but he because he doesn't have like a database of playing basketball at a high level from a young age. There's still a lot of things he's learning and learning on the fly and the idea that he maybe didn't take care of his body for a long time. And even now is doing everything it takes to make yourself like Joel embiid's, it's complicated. Ben simmons. He can do everything. But you, but at least he doesn't shoot because he can't shoot, but he should shoot. Even though he can't shoot just to keep you honest. Right. Plus, you have the right? That's that's a Richard Jefferson. That's a lot of change. Right. Plus, you have the idea of like like Ben Simmons because of the off the court persona and his desire to be like Instagram model. Like does he want to buy into the idea of just getting an Jim all summer every summer and adding to his game? And then he got Jimmy Butler who is all about ball. Right. Like he wants to be. But there is a limit there in terms of his talent. Like, he's just not as talented as as other two, but there's a grit and Tedeschi, and there's an expert in and he wants everyone else to tell them how tough and smart that he is. But yes last night he was fabulous and Philly boat up and Philly exposed the weaknesses within Toronto. And now we set up a game seven to find out who moves on. And I do think. Either these teams could beat Milwaukee. But the one thing Sixers is like they have those four guys. And if all four of those guys aren't going like, they really don't have much else to offer because of how this roster has been reloaded and frontloaded I see Ben Simmons as a guy who is at the point in his career. Where James harden was a couple years ago? And where Russell Westbrook's at right now in that. Okay. I see this player. I'm right now. And it's really good. And I am I am I have a cheesed a level that I didn't know that I could get to and here, I am, you know, a couple of years ago. James harden was boy look at look at the the growth of James harden. And then he comes to the Dan Tony system, and he buys in and realizes I had another level to get to. And now we talk about James harden being the all war players that can score forty points. A night still dish out Tennessee's pull down eight or nine rebounds. And James harden has gotten to that level. Russell Westbrook needs to be at that point to where. Okay. This is the player. I am. But how do I become more efficient? How do I become better than I was? And and a better version of me. And Ben Simmons is at that point too. I mean, he's younger, and it's great because he's going to he's at this point a lot younger..
