"Speaking of changing the game you might want to change the channel on this game NFL's wild card triplet or finale now in the fourth quarter you can't sit in It looks like the end for Ben Roethlisberger as he just threw an interception his second of the night the chiefs up 42 to 14 Patrick Mahomes throwing for over 400 yards and 5 touchdowns Travis Kelce even having some fun with a touchdown pass to go with his touchdown catch from mahomes The perhaps the most compelling matchup of the weekend saw the San Francisco forty-niners hand the Dallas Cowboys at 23 17 defeat in what was the record time 8th postseason meeting between these historic rivals and after the game We told you before Dallas fans throwing things from the stands initially believed to be aimed toward their own players as they left the field for the tunnel but they would later say oh no we were aiming at the referees as if that is somehow better After those questionable calls there toward the end but the most questionable calls coming from the Dallas sideline So we'll hear plenty of that throughout the course of the week Banner day for the NFC east really the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cruise through a 31 15 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles The bucks will play the winner of tomorrow night's rams cardinals game in the divisional round The capitals come back against the Canucks fall short they suffer a four two loss of Bruce boudreaux's Vancouver Canucks So that's now 5 losses in the last 6 for the caps In college basketball Georgetown loses to St. John's 88 69 committing 21 turnovers and what was their fourth straight loss they are still winless in conference play American got their first conference win of the season over bucknell and navy's won 5 of their 6 thanks to a win at Boston It was a hard night for basketball at Xfinity center the 8th ranked Maryland women blown out by number 11 Michigan and it was perhaps their worst performance in over a decade and it comes after Brenda fries coached the game just hours after learning of her father's death.

AJ Benza: Fame is a Bitch
Farewell Ben Raffensperger
"And then I was very sad to see Ben Ben Roethlisberger on Monday Night Football walk off. It's his last time he's gonna play at Heinz field in Pittsburgh and he's had an 18 year career and not all of it was great, but you know, he's Big Ben. He's had his ups and downs, but he won a Super Bowl and it was touching to see him walk away. They were just a couple of exits the last few days that really got to me. And his emotional as I was last night, I sat up and I watched Big Ben walk off that field. And I watched him talk to the reporter who was trying to encapsulate what he must have felt. And you know, he took a lap around the stadium just to touch people's hands. It was very touching.

"Rich eisen here with one last Mercedes Benz vans hotline interview. Yes, we've come to the end of the road. The final Monday night of the regular season has arrived and that means one last time, we're going to pick up the Mercedes Benz vans hotline and Mercedes Benz sprinter asks, one was the last time you chased a dream, whether you're ready to take your business to the next level or live the van life, a Mercedes Benz sprinter van is the van for the job. Joining me here before Monday Night Football at Heinz field against the Cleveland Browns is a man who is going to the pro football Hall of Fame whenever he hangs them up is none other than Ben Roethlisberger. How are you doing Big Ben? I'm doing great. How are you today, sir? I am doing better for talking to you, man. It's been a long time. And I was just wondering, how do you feel right now? It's a very rare question for me to ask anybody prior to a game, but you know this is a big game for you. And maybe for your career. It is. It's a big game. Anytime I've been so blessed, the lord has bought me in so many ways, but to be able to play in front of the greatest fans and sports of Heinz field. So anytime you play at Heinz field on Monday night against the browns, it's always emotional. It's always a lot of fun and it's exciting. No, I know. It's kind of bizarre or awkward that there's so much more football potentially left for you to play this year and we're all talking about the end of maybe your career. And I'm wondering how you work all that in together. My only focus is this game. You know, I think the reason it's bigger and I'm gonna play 18 seasons of one over 90 football games in Heinz field and so forth to be the potential last rigor season game. I think that's why it's talked about so much. But my singular focus is going to be one in this football game. Because one because it could be a little less rigorous using game, but because it's the browns, it's crunch time. We have to win this game..

"Remember taste klay pool in the end zone reaching back up over the defensive back trying to catch a ball hands on it. But as he's coming down he doesn't really have it well secured and the defensive back has his hands in there as able swatted away. You hear a lot of man chase who got to be the guy who could bring that ball down but when you watch that play this is the play i put up on my twitter feed it's fantasy skippy talk about. I gave you that in the first half but it's also on my twitter. Feed this one if you look at it. There's no deep help at all. The cornerback has outside leverage right. And there's no one in the middle of the field. The two other deep defenders are both on other receivers and they're nowhere near the ball. Nowhere near tastes. Play pool and ben rothlisberger seeing chase klay pool running up the sideline inside of the defensive backs. The defensive back has outside leverage on tape pool throws it outside ben. Rothlisberger throws it into the coverage into the defenders leverage. Meaning as klay pool has to physically position himself against this cornerback and jump up over the quarterback to bring the ball. In if ben rothlisberger had placed that ball inside chase cleveland's walking into that end zone with a touchdown like mike wallis martavis bryant sammie coates. Ab all these guys used to jews. You did it a couple of times in two thousand seventeen then run. Those routes and ben would hit them between the safety and the corner. What we're seeing this seat year we saw last year. Ben rothlisberger is not willing to take those shots when the cornerback has is outside and his receivers inside of him going up the field and there's a single deep safety or and that play while when there wasn't a single deep safety there was no deep help. He doesn't take those shots. He hasn't been taking those shots very much. I don't know if it's a matter if he doesn't trust his arm. I don't know if it's a matter of he's not seen it will. I mean he's thirty nine. We know his skills have diminish. We know he's not the same quarterback he was even in two thousand seventeen with an arm injury time off and he's older one away the ways that showing up is ben rothlisberger. Not taking those shots. There was a a thing on the. Nfl's next gen stats. Or they showed the passing charts. And ben rothlisberger had zero throws to the deep metal zero and he hasn't had many the last two seasons. If you were saying why. What's wrong with the offense. What are they doing. Why aren't they throwing deepens. Npr saying is because ben rothlisberger can't throw a ball more than seventeen inches. Will the the truth of it is teams are playing single. Deep safety and ben rothlisberger is not willing to task that deep safety..

"And their bracketing darren. Well-earned stunning down. I put that on my twitter. Which is at fanta skipped. P. h. a. n. t. a. s. k. Ip y at twitter on twitter. I put it out there. Because that's the same bracketing strategy. We use our linebackers get matched up on wide receivers in the slot. It's the same thing we do. We do it a lot. It works really well. You get burned to doing that a couple of times a season. I mean really like three or four times a season they got burned by in two thousand twenty notably in the playoff game and put it on their light lager desk keith butler putting linebackers on vied receiver. He's the worst defense coordinator ever. Yeah you get beat with that a couple of times the fact that people don't see it all the time and don't complain about it every single week because it works you will not hear people complain could keep butler put a linebacker darrin wallet. You know why because it worked. He did it all game. He didn't like sixty seventy percent of the game. Darren waller was being covered by linebacker. And you won't hear people complaining about it because it worked the whole game just like it works. Most of the time those few times it doesn't it looks terrible and you get huge reaction to it moral the story there. Is you know. I'd be more knowledgeable. That's that's that's the same no more when you know more you can. You can react better. That is a. That's one of the purposes of this show. Is i can sit here and talk to you and say hey you know. "Their home opener this past sunday. Ceiling their eighty ninth straight season without going undefeated only five. Nfl franchises have a longer streak of losing at least one game. Yes that is me telling you to settle down and find some perspective after disappointing steelers loss. It is after all along season at this point. The steelers could still win the super bowl or they could lose sixteen games. There's lot more of this story to right but that doesn't mean there isn't anything to talk about today. We're gonna talk about what went wrong. Against the the las vegas raiders from the steelers defense to the run game to ben rothlisberger. I'm your host jeffrey benedict. Welcome to the cutting room floor. We're start with what we saw this weekend. And before we dig in too much. I just wanna say that. Now it's time for a little braggadocio. While i wave my arms like ralph macho My keys to this game heading into week. Two i gave an x factor for the raiders. I was with marquis de on the steelers. Touch down on die in that show. I called henry runs the third as being a potential game changing player. Because with the steelers paying attention to darren waller rudd's was that guy that could break a huge play and break open what i expected to be a largely. A close scored defensive battle. Well yeah that kind of happened. That kind of happened with the steelers. Don't have a ton of speed in the secondary. Terrell edmonds is their fastest defensive back so if you get isolation on the outside and i believe the play Rugs broke for sixty. One yard touchdown. He he was on a callow. Witherspoon was on him again. I predicted that before. I knew joe haden was going to be out for the game But they got they got. Henry runs the third on. Are number four defensive back which really really. He's our number six. We're just missing are one of our top guys and we were sat james. We sat justin lane. Sorry lots his name for a second. We justin lane forever and boom sixty. One yard touchdown. That really broke that game open. So i kinda caught that one. Not that i'm happy about that One of my other main keys to this game was the steelers winning the interior line battle. i made that my kids game. 'cause watching the the ravens raiders games. What stood out to me. Is that while. Derek carr was getting pressured around the edge quite a bit second half of the game. He starts being able to step up into a clean pocket. And when derek carr can step up into a clean pocket. He's a really good quarterback when you put people in his face is not nearly as good so car against the steelers. One of my things was we. Gotta we gotta keep guys in his face. We can't step up into the pockets. So that the pressure from the edges can get to him well. Tj wise was absolutely crushing. When he was in this game he was playing phenomenal. He was doing a fantastic job. And for those snaps the longest pass. Play with watt on the field with seventeen yards and there wasn't a single deep attacked a deep throw attempt by derek carr with tj lot on the field through the point tj. By got injured. There was not a single deep pass through by car. Tj what left the field the very first play after tj Left the field with his injury was a twenty five yard. Pass to second tied foster moreau. And when worse from there by the end of the game derek carr had thrown eight deep passes connected on five of them for one hundred sixty four yards and a touchdown the reason he was able to do. That is because with tj white gone and simply cam hayward in there being the only real big time threat. The raiders were able to give. Derek carr a clean pocket and he was able to look downfield. See what was happening and make take take shots. Take good shots. Downfield step into his throws make throws without being hit. They won the game. The moral of that story is even with steph onto it out. Even with bud duprey gone end. Advertisement is a good player. But we've seen. He's he's struggling this season. A bit with this step up responsibility and the step up in in attention. The he's gotten he's not getting socks he doesn't even have a. Qb hit yet this season. But even with him there with tj with steph onto it out tj white and cameron. Heyward are a lot to deal with. And what hayward and supporting staff of chris warmly. Alex highsmith marlin ingram. Melvin ingram is playing really well but he's not tj. Why he's not cameron heyward. He's not on their level. Hayward watt and supporting staff is a lot to deal with just cam hayward and supporting staff wasn't not too much for a banged up raiders. Offensive line they were able to shift the pocket to count for hayward Hayward's penetration and really the offensive line. Just had to steer cameron heyward to one side of the pocket and let derrick walk. Go the other way. Well when cameron heyward can say okay You know i'm gonna rush. I'm going to penetrate. And i'm going to go to the right side from the defensive perspective. I'm gonna rush to the right side of the pocket and cause havoc. There will have tj one on the left. You can't just be like okay. I'll take a step to the left. No you're taking a step towards teach what you're taking a step towards getting lit up. You're taking a step towards a fumble. You know you are taking a step towards a big defensive play. You can't do it with just hayward gable step outside. That was a huge problem for the ravens. That's big reason. The ravens lost is they were not able to contain derek. Carr they were. They were not able to crash his pocket. They were not able to put people around his legs bodies around his legs people in his face hands on you know threatening to swat the football away. They weren't able to do that. And the raiders came back on with car. Throwing deep downfield the steelers. Despite the success they had defending. Darren waller like i said before. They're one of the best at defending tight ends in the national football league the last three seasons since they Drafted devin bush brought in Tara lawson and brought in a mega fitzpatrick. They've been one of the best they did again. That was different. But it didn't matter because in the end when they could not disrupt derek cars pocket derek carr was able to throw downfield for five of eight for one hundred sixty four yards and a touchdown. You're not gonna win a game when you give that up to the opposing quarterback and you're offenses in scoring. Yeah that's a shootout. If you're giving up deep passes like that. That's a shootout as over twenty yards per attempt on deep balls. You don't even know what the steelers putting up on. Those numbers was it was awful talking about darren. Waller i put this clip up on twitter. Cassivi s rise. It came back from the half. I was watching. It was just like yes. Oh my goodness thank you cbs. 'cause i don't have all twenty two film yet which is awful and stupid But cbs puts out the alternative film and they show how. The steelers are bracketing. Darren waller putting a on him with a safety back behind him..

"Six list. Top six NFL teams for 2021. The Brown is going to make the list. Are we going to hear more barking from the dog, Pat? Here. King. Lot of quarterbacks Indiana. Mhm. Have no problem with voicing their opinions today, Ben Roethlisberger stood in front of the media, and he basically told everyone TJ want Deserves to be paid. The Steelers need to pay him whatever he wants. They need to do it now, and it's just like Whoa. Ben Roethlisberger, he said. Look Restructured my contract for this simple reason to get T J Watt onto the field so he can go out there in the regular season and just wreck quarterbacks. And we've started they hear more and more over the years from quarterbacks who you know, are not ashamed to tell the world and tell their teams exactly what they want. Whether it's Russell Wilson with protection. Whether it's adjustment in the entire front office culture like Aaron Rodgers pretty much told the Green Bay Packers for the entire season. We're hearing more and more demands from quarterbacks. And why not? It's a dog eat dog world. The Q B S are just about the only players who can do so. And as I told you prior to the break, Realistically, you think about the hundreds upon hundreds of players in the NFL. Man. It's probably only 10 guys who can even open up their mouths in such a way. So the phone lines are open before we get to the top six at the top of the hour, 855 to 1 to four, CBS. What are your thoughts? How do you feel when we have these quarterbacks just just saying whatever comes to their mind, just telling the truth. It's a new day. It's a new era. And if you got the stroke and use it, right. Brian is calling from Wisconsin. Brian you on CBS Sports Radio. Hey, Jr. Thanks for having me first time caller Love the show. Thank you. Go ahead. Uh, yeah, In my opinion, these guys on the face of the teams there's the guys that get the blame for the wins and the losses. They should have the right to be able to eat what they want. As far as the management goes as far as what they think their players that they play with day in and day out what their work Okay. You don't think it gets tricky when Ben Rapolas Burger is basically playing public agent for T J Watt? I mean, isn't you don't think that that kind of puts him in the organization and an odd standing I think again that With him in a leadership position that the rest of the team knows that he's going to back them up if they ever get into a tight spot like that. Touche. There's no doubt about that. Thank you. Brian for calling from Wisconsin. How many times you're going to hear that, though? You know, we heard from Ben Roethlisberger here on T. J. Watt. You think we're going to hear about him on on another player? Like When do you hear this? Players are typically very happy to mind their business and shut up when it comes to somebody else's contract. They do not want to be involved. You don't want to be a player who, when the media asks you about Hey, what do you think about you know your teammate X Y z's contract. Typically, the players know enough to shut the hell up. It's one of my business. I don't want to influence the decision that's between the team and X Y Z player and the player at the same time, he doesn't want to face any repercussions. He doesn't want to have a negative effect on that man's contract negotiations and a lot of times you don't even the agents don't want anybody chiming in on negotiations, so Typically, it's a space to shut up when it comes to somebody else's money. And so yeah, I'm pretty sure T j want appreciates it. He's in a unique position. T. J Watt is a superstar. In the NFL. Regardless of how you feel about Ben Roethlisberger and how much he has left in the tank, Ben Roethlisberger via accomplishment and name alone. He is a superstar in the NFL. And so, yeah, he's going back him. But let's not pretend like Ben Roethlisberger is gonna back. You know the 53rd guy on the roster? Ben Roethlisberger might not even remember his name And sometimes you like anything in life. You got to pick and choose your battles. Sometimes you gotta know when to go. Sometimes you gotta know when to fall back. John is calling from Houston John you on CBS Sports radio. Hey, Jay. How you doing, man? Very well. Amen. Is that Jenny? Man? The local shows the out. Call me and you know, I thought about this for a while. It's just very expensive. It wells really wrong. I got I don't the stuff there and were on the rise in Bergen. Where is talking back? I can. He said that he didn't bit more. That's where you whack because they didn't on the team here and the one chances What's there to get left back here? What may even unpacked his bags the he got a big contest. Less than a month later, he starts bringing about being they actually remember part of back friends have brought back to the death. Are present. That would be have been a net. Get a big contract in less than a month. How about being traded? And then he ain't say the word bad thing we've heard from his AZ Talking about, uh, he wanted to be played for this reason and that reason and those reasons don't hold water energy. There's not a play in the NFL in the past or the present. That if you act in the they love everybody on their team only and the organization did they get along with everybody There tell, you know, so he's you know, reasons all hold water are asleep my personal after that, not never Want to pray here and you and I tell you what, And if he was okay, the reasons he gave where he'd been here for a while now, anytime, Washington the cooler one. "Curtain dot com. Let's talk about these stats. Talk about ben rothlisberger in the potential renaissance that he could be having in twenty twenty one if they can get. The running game improved now before the break talked about how in the eight seasons ben rothlisberger who had a one thousand yard rusher. There's only been two years. They didn't make the playoffs. Two thousand six in two thousand and nine during that time. The steelers averaged in those eight seasons. They average ten point. Six wins that anytime. You're averaging double digit wins in a sixteen game. Season is impressive. But let's look at his specific numbers in the eight seasons with a one thousand yard rusher. He averaged sixty three point. Nine percent completion. That is almost exactly what his career percentages. Sixty four point. Four percent is his career completion percentage. I do want to mention though that. In the later part of his career from todd haley on asperger's completion percentage is what it is but it's not as if that number is indicative of the. I guess i should say it is indicative to the style of offense. The steelers had been running. Those short intermediate passes wide receiver screens. They all count towards inflating completion percentage. But it is what it is not going to hide behind those numbers. He averaged rothlisburger averaged in his eight seasons. Twenty four point eight touchdowns as twenty four point eight touchdowns per season. His career average is twenty. Three point two touchdown so it's a tick above average interceptions during those eight seasons twelve. The ever remember. He had that season with twenty three interceptions. That was in two thousand and six. And that if you look at the numbers if you were removed twenty. Three and i know you can't. I'm sure dave scofield's listening to this thanking jeff. You can't do that. that's that's not. How statistics work. I understand that but if you take that away he would be well below his eleven point. Eight career interceptions point. Eleven point eight career average for interceptions in a c. average per Per season. And i think that again. You're this is tough. This is tough to look at all these numbers and you look at the success and the playoff appearances because early in his career yet a tremendous defense and then the defense definitely kinda fell off. You're talking about after the super bowl in two thousand and ten legendary players. Start to retire or leave. It is back to back eight nine seasons whereas kind of figuring out what this team was doing moving forward. There's a lot of moving parts here but the one thing i wanted to really drive home the one thing i really want to drive home here is rothlisberger. If you watched last season and you you kept an open. Mind coming into twenty twenty one. I understand how it ended. I know that he turned the ball over rely towards the end of the season. I understand that. Rothlisberger had four interceptions in the playoff loss to the cleveland browns. In the wildcard round. I understand all of that. What i am saying is if the steelers can run the football i feel the you'll see more of the eleven oh rothlisberger he won't have the pressure on him. He won't feel like he has to do it all. I honestly don't think that ben rothlisberger goes into a season and says. I want to throw the ball fifty times a game. I don't think that he says that i feel that. Rothlisberger gets on the field in when he sees that the offense cannot move the football on the ground that it is literally like banging their head against the wall. He says to himself okay. I'll do it myself. i'm going to do it. i'll just do it all by myself. That's the way i feel like rothlisberger approaches the game. He's going to go by the he's in ago with a game plan. We all know how horrible randy feeders game plans were. He's gonna go to the game plan and then when it doesn't work he says okay. I'll do it. i'll do it all myself. And he's comfortable in that scenario he's done it for a long time but when you look back at specific seizes not number wise. Okay 'cause numbers are i feel. You can kind of pain narrative with statistics. I've always felt that way when you look back at early in his career would they ran the ball so well and it took pressure off of a very young ben rothlisberger think back to two thousand fourteen. Two thousand and fifteen being primary years. I mean you could go all the way to to sixteen inches and seventeen years where the killer. Bees were prominent rothlisberger. He had great numbers but he also could hand the ball off to leave levy on bell and he knew that lady on bell is going to get the job done he could. He knew that. Antonio brown's gonna make plays when he put it up there but it just changed everything you go back to two thousand eighteen. When james conner took over and yes he rushed for nine hundred seventy three yards but it just felt so disjointed to watch rothlisberger just throwing the ball so many times they just felt like they have to run the ball. I don't know what the thought process was but if they can run the football this could be the year that you see more of the early career rothlisberger a quarterback that can manage the game in roethlisberger. Did that early in his career. He managed the game. He may plays when they presented themselves in. That's the only question he would have to answer is if they can run the ball well and they can set up third and manageable almost on a regular basis can rothlisberger make the plays when necessary. I still think he can. There's a lot of people out there. There's a lot of national pundits. There's even a lot of local media that don't think he has it anymore. They don't think that he can get it done. They think that there's something maybe as his arm is week. Whatever the case is. I believe that if the steelers you combine it with adrian. Klemm the new offense of line coach. He's not new to the steelers but he's the new office of line coach. Who is an assistant under sean. Red for two seasons..

"They sixty six point four percent. Completion percentage two thousand six hundred and twenty one yards seventeen touchdowns to eleven interceptions. Two thousand and five steelers finish eleven and five. Willie parker is the leading rusher with one thousand two hundred and two yards. Drone is at three sixty eight. That's not that's not over four hundred but had him listed here. Visit ben rothlisberger. Sixty two point seven percent completion. Two thousand three hundred and eighty five yards seventeen touchdowns to nine interceptions two thousand and six. They finished eight. Nate willie parker russia's for one thousand four hundred and ninety four yards rothlisberger under sixty percent. He's at fifty nine. Point seven percent completion. Three thousand five hundred and thirteen yards which was a high for him at that time eighteen touchdowns which was a career high at the time in a whopping twenty. Three interceptions yes. I'm sure a lot of us. Remember that season. That was bad thousand finished ten in six willie parker russia's for one thousand three hundred and sixteen yards rothlisberger finishes with sixty five point three percent completion. Three thousand one hundred and fifty three thirty two touchdowns that's a career high and at the time and with eleven touchdowns two thousand eight twelve and four the willie parker it again. They didn't run the ball that effectively. This season willie park ride seven hundred ninety one yards the welding more had five hundred and eighty eight burgers under sixty percent again. Fifty nine point nine percent completion. Three thousand three hundred and one yards seventeen touchdowns and fifteen interceptions two thousand and nine rashard. Mendenhall comes into the picture. One thousand one hundred and eight yards rushing rothlisberger finishes with sixty six point. Six percent completion. Four thousand three hundred twenty eight yards. That's a career high at the time. Twenty six touchdowns and twelve interceptions in two thousand and ten rothlisberger. I'm sorry twelve and four record. Mendenhall one thousand two hundred and seventy three yards. Rothlisberger finishes with sixty one point seven percent completion..

"And stream now got our play of the day coming up. And, uh, your phone calls as well as we always do. Every Monday, best and worst to the weekend. We make way for the popular co host of pro football talk live on Peacock. Chris Simms, the former NFL quarterback who joins us on the program, Chris, Thanks for joining us. Let me start with the quarterback. We are most likely to not see next season. Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees. Okay. The one were most likely not to see. I mean, I think it's really up in the air for all three of them. I'll say I don't see Big Ben. I think Big Ben's going to try to give it one more year. All right, So I'm going to say that and I think for what he's done for the Pittsburgh Gordon organization. If he says he wants to come back one more year, they'll probably let him Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, one You know, I think Philip Rivers is probably the guy would say is the most likely we've we won't see again, Drew Brees. I think it's a little bit like Ben Russell's burger if he says he wants to come back. They're gonna bring him back. But I do get a field or a sense just by some of the comments Sean Payton made during the year that they'd like to move on a little bit, But I think rivers would probably be the leader in the clubhouse on that one. Who deserves the heat for the Steelers lost last night. Well, um You know, overall, just the whole offensive unit. The approach everything they did you know, towards the end of the year, you know, I think I came out a few weeks ago. It's one thing to be predictable. It's one thing to be predictable within your predictability. Okay, we're gonna We're gonna throw the ball. And now you know, we're gonna throw the ball with our dads, so they're predictably predictable. Right. That's the better way to say it. See me and be in English are no so that good, but that's the way they say. That's why they pay you the me talk pretty. Yeah, me talk pretty right. Me play football Meat blonde. I mean, not that smart, So, but that's like, I think that's it, though. When you talk about it, it's we know they're going to throw the ball. Okay? And then the compounded We know they're going to throw the ball five yards down the field. You know, over the middle of the middle of the ball middle of the field that area and I think that's really the issue. I mean, come on, snap over the head. That interception over the running back, said in a formation in the play set that they usually don't do play action. One man route, you know, then they get into the next drive, and it's the third one and they can't even run the ball for a yard if they really want you because that's not what they are, so it's really overall just the offense in general. And, of course, big Ben's a big part of that, By the way, we're focusing on the teams that lost over the weekend right now, and then we'll talk about, you know, moving forward, So just so you know, Yeah. The Rams and the Seahawks. You know, I'm not surprised at what happened. I'm surprised at how it happened. It really felt like the Rams. That was a varsity in Seattle was a junior varsity. How did that happen at home? To Seattle. Yeah, well, the Rams defense is special. That's the first thing and the one thing I say when I really break down Rams Seahawks matchups to you Got to remember the Rams were built to beat the Seahawks. You know, when Sean McVeigh took over Seahawks for King of the world, you know, so you're gonna build your team the way how we gonna win our division and that was, you know priority number one. So really on the field player for player, they match up well with them and then The defense for the Rams. You know just what they do to the Seahawks. They got a front for that can contain Russell Wilson. They gotta DK Metcalf for Racer and Jalen Ramsey. And I think the big thing is just to focus on the Seahawks like you're saying. They need another idea Guy on the offensive side of the ball. I like Brian Schottenheimer, but it's like maybe, like I would say with great Roman in Baltimore, I might be one of those things where you go. We need to bring a passing game coordinator in here. Just infuse a few more ideas and things into our office because, as you see it's very stale, and teams really caught on to it the last four or five weeks of the year. How should Washington fans feel today? Um, that their organizations going in the right direction. There's a lot to be excited about. I don't think, Taylor Hi. Nikki is going to be the future of the franchise. But either way that was amazing with what the hell we saw the other night. I mean, right? I don't know. I just kept going. All right. Here comes the blowout. What he did. Whoa! Unbelievable. All right, here comes a blowout. And then he'd pull out another unbelievable football play, but between that defense I know some of the guys they got all over there, You know, even in the secondary, they got a good offensive line. They got a star receiver and Terry McLaurin. Antonio Gibson, who was playing hurt here at the end of the years are really damn good running Baghdad. They're a team I would say like They get this quarterback situation figured out. Watch out for Washington and 2021. What happened to the Titans? The Titans ran into a healthy Baltimore Ravens defense. The first time they played there was no Brandon Williams or class Campbell. They dominated the line of scrimmage. The Ravens defensive line Brandon Williams, class Campbell, Matt Judah, and they kicked butt and I think the rookie linebackers they have impact your queen and the leak. Harrison too. You know the fact that they got to see Tennessee earlier, I think helped them how to defend the run game and what to do properly. There was really a big thing. And then those two corners in the back end the fact that you can rely on them and go. Wait, We gotta stop Derrick Henry. And then we gotta put you guys on the island versus a J. Braddock. Corey Davis know that that Z special defensive unit and of course you know that offense for the Baltimore Ravens and their physicality and Lamar Dan? They just throw it just enough like we saw yesterday with Hollywood Brown outside the numbers and just attack that part of the field where defense's have to defend it. It's going to help their offense out big time. It's gonna open up the running lanes and everything like that. I thought that was one of the underrated aspects of the game yesterday. Guess I should mention the bears to be professional. I guess the one question I have is, you know what do you do with Mitchell? True biscuit? I feel like.
