Not only do we have the normal, heavy slowing on the northbound five drive through Tacoma, but we have about a 20 minute delay from Tacoma to federal way because of this three mile backup heading up the hill out of fight. Past the scene of the crash near the truck scales, which has been over on the right shoulder almost most of the morning. So deal with very heavy slowing mayor sticking in Pierce County eastbound 5 12 is jammed heading From Canyon overthrew South Hill and then down into the Puyallup area. We have heavy slowing on the Valley Freeway heading up out of 4 10. Give yourself about 44 minutes to go from Puyol up to rent it now up in King County, the North Bong. Five drivers got about a 4.5 mile backup from South Centre to just after the Boeing Access Road. The crash that we've been dealing with here has been blocking the HIV lane and the left general purpose Lane for the last little bit. We're really jammed up trying to get through the Mill Creek interchange through the Lynwood split. What we had is an earlier crash on four or five southbound just after the I five ties into it there in Lynnwood, and that's backed this up onto the I five corridor as well. So give yourself 45 minutes for both effort to Seattle or ever to Bellevue. So today is a legit back to school. Cut the drive out there for everybody. So Take it easy. Again heavy volume from renting all the way up through 44th, the Newcastle and 20 minutes from Auburn to rent in about 43 all the way from Puyallup to come has been pretty quiet this morning. We bumped back up to 20 minutes from Auburn to Renton. And then the rent of the Bellevue Drive is still at about 33 minutes. As you work your way through the slowing there. The rest of the map is great. Despite some of the light rain we have out there. Everything seems to be going along pretty good 30 minutes from Olympia to Tacoma. About 37 from federal way to Seattle still have some slowing at the North end and then ever to Bellevue ever to Seattle. Both of those drives are chugging along right where they should be. 30 minutes, So all in all, we've had a pretty good Friday, and it's just to take a little bit longer to clear things out there and rented car radio. Still 35 minutes from Everett's Bellevue ever to Seattle, also about 35 minutes, we're going to see the slowing there right around 44th, the Newcastle, the Valley Freeway. Still not quite completely done. We have some slowing getting up past 24th, which is actually making 14 up from 4 10 there in somewhere a little bit slower than I'd like. We're back up to 40 minutes real time. There's also a little blip in between Auburn intent. The rent of the Bellevue Drive, though you will pick up the pace there we are looking at 20 minutes there. The holidays, of course of past us, So that means it's time to return to construction closures. And so there's gonna be one every weekend. Chris tell us what we need to know. Maybe not every weekend, but pretty close to it, and every overnight there's Lord knows there's enough work to be done. But we're going to start about talking about what's going on this weekend, and they're a couple things you need to be aware of North bound by five and Mountlake Terrace. Is going to see the biggest impact. They're all lanes. All north bound lanes are going to be closed each night for sound transits work on light rail toe. Linwood contractors are putting in some preliminary false work over the North bound lanes, which will eventually be the base for the bridge for where the trains will cross the freeway. We had a similar closure late last year in the South bound lanes. Now it's the North bound lanes turn. So about 11 o'clock tonight. Tomorrow night Sunday night, the North bound lanes are going to close right at the Edmund's exit there. That's highway to one of four closure extends up to 2/20 and Mountlake Terrace. Driver's gonna be detoured around 29 99. The lane should reopen each morning around. 6 30, speaking of 99 Sound Transit's going to be closing both directions of the road in Si Tak. Move some equipment for the federal way. Light rail expansion. This closure is from 8 P.m. tonight to about 1 A.m. early tomorrow morning, So just the night time tonight thing to deal with, and there's some bad news for more people suffering from the closure of the West Seattle Bridge. Lower Spokane Street Bridge, which is we know is the only straight shot out of the neighborhood will be closed for a few hours tomorrow to everybody, And this includes the roadway and the pedestrian bike path. Closure starts at 8 A.m. and should last until about 1 P.m. cities inspecting the bridge and the mechanism there that connects it either ends. They're doing some repair work on that as well. So a little bad news for everybody trying to get out of west Seattle tomorrow. It's gonna be a little Difficult until the early afternoon. Well, as long as it keeps it operating. There's a little hesitation through Pacific but not too much to worry about the rest of the Bellevue Drive's still chugging along in about 30 minutes, there is slowing to get through legitimate slowing through the S curves before it eases off. Better way to Seattle is looking really good now, 30 minutes real time there on that drive and back down to under 15 minutes from South Center in Seattle. So even the late slowing you get the into the heart of downtown Seattle is moved out of the way out of the north, and we're still looking good ever to Seattle ever to Bellevue, looking at 30 minutes real time across the lake. So late around the nation's capital buildings are boarding up amid security concerns ahead of inauguration. A major step is reportedly being taken to protect the security of next week's inauguration of president elect by The Washington Post reports. The National Park Service will close them all next Wednesday. For decades, Spectators have gathered there to observe the inauguration. Traditionally includes a swearing in at the West front of the Capitol. It means crowds will be kept far from the building as metro station shut down along with roads. CBS is Steve Dorsey says. And it looks like where you are doing a bridge lift on the first half of New South Bridge right now, I know not a very good time to be doing that during the morning commute, considering that the West Seattle Bridge itself is actually closed and First yourself Bridge is really one of the only good ways to get out of the area.
