We're Sorry To Say It, But Thin Brows Are Coming Back
"Well a few weeks ago. Bella hadid wall thinner more arched brows. She was going to con film festival. She was wearing that black dress. You might have seen it with that gold lung like necklace. And she's never had really bushy brows but have browse with china and more sculpted than average browse. This spot more conversation in the beauty world and thanks to all things nineties trending at the moment which you'll see every way thin- browse are actually back. But don't worry we're not talking about that pencil thin sort of one hair. And that's all you've got weight is talking about more of an odd and more sculpted and coveted confirmed it. They interviewed new based brow expert. Joey healy and he said yes. It's influenced by the nineties but what we're saying is a bit more structure so instead of that boy brow that was really beacon straight with stray hairs everywhere. We're just seeing more sculptured more lifted and he says the trend is partly to do with the pandemic as well so after every year wearing mosques. The focus is back on the. Is we sean. This last week's episode with lana tren but because we're not saying the lower half of the face. People are really tending to put more emphasis in more effort into the upper part of the face. And that's with more seen sort of sculptor browse when we say the and we just mean fina then really thick. We daren't mean really really thin erin now. How do you feel about that much better. Obviously when i wrote about it hurt. My soul's took me ages to grow out of my butchered thin browse. I have naturally quite thick brows. But i think it's really good. Because i don't think everyone falls into that kind of bushy brow- car delving category so it doesn't mean you can't find a trend to match your browse since ted if using product after product to kind of fill them in and make them really bushy. I think it's great to see a trend that kind of encourages people to work with what they've got. I agree and to be honest. I was never going to have that. Really bushy-browed look it just wasn't possible with my brows eyed thin them out too much and it just wasn't what i had so i've kind of gone from eighty brow with a bit of lift at the art because that's what suit in my face so suddenly i'm on trend and i didn't even try. I mean show my brows nee doing in the pandemic because they haven't been done for quite a while but i'm all for this and i'm also you know what who cares about trans. Just do whatever suits you face

Is Processed Food Making People Angry and Stupid
"Heireann droop wrote here host of the green podcasts. When it comes down to what we're made of so much of it is about food. Food literally builds us brick by brick cell-by-cell that means what we eat provides. The building blocks that make up the entire body which means unfortunately for a lot of people. They're made up of junk. Our poor food choices gravely impact our brain health resulting in behaviors. That leave us. More lonely anxious depressed illness prone and more overweight than ever before my guest on today's minneapolis owed doctors. David and austin pearl mutter and shawn stevenson talked to us about how our health our relationships and even our thinking have been damaged by our western processed food diet. They discuss how our lifestyles and diet. Impact our brain function and our ability to make good choices as well as how we interact and show up for our relationships. Let's listen in starting with my interviews with doctors. David and austin parameter. I want to read a passage from the book. Our are being gravely manipulated resulting in behaviors. That leave us. More lonely anxious depressed distressful illness prone and overweight than ever before. So we talked about those two aspects which is how do we help and support people to actually make these decisions and implement change in their life to achieve to achieve whatever goal that they wanna focus on. But let's start off with what is actually hijacking. Our brand that. It makes it difficult to do. So can you describe the landscape landscape and the state of threats that our brains are under today. Sure we'll start with one of the most important and probably most straightforward of the its food. We need food. We need to eat food to keep going. But what is it that we're putting into our bodies. A recent study showed that sixty eight percent of the foods that people eat and buy in. The store have added sugar. We know sugar isn't really a good thing for us but the question has to be. What is it doing to our thinking. What is it doing to our brains and is the question that i think were now able to answer but we haven't been looking into nearly enough. What is sugar doing to our brains. Will sugar fosters inflammation which listeners know is not good for the body. Chronic inflammation has been implicated in variety of problems. Things like heart disease. Things like alzheimer's disease. What we're understanding now is that inflammation this process that sugar up regulates changes are thinking. So let's let that sink in. It's not that it changes are thinking in the long run. It changes are thinking right now. Inflammation has been shown in several recent trials to bias our decision making towards short-term impulsive thinking so to put that into context if you're eating a diet that increases inflammation you're going to make more short term or decisions like eating diet that increases inflammation choosing the wrong foods to be eating and that transcends just diet it gets into other things if you're somebody who struggles with all nine shopping. Now you have a diet. that increases inflammation. You're going to be picking the short term reward and that means your your shopping. Cart might be filling up online with things that you don't need so again. Food is one of those entry points. It's something that has been made incredibly palatable over the years and while that means it might taste good. We need to appreciate that. It is activating these circuits within our bodies within our brains that are making our decisions more impulsive more short term oriented and in the big picture taking us away from the decisions that will lead us to health and will lead us to happiness and let me add Before we move on from food and because it is It is a very important topic because we recognize that in a simplistic model there to areas of the brain. That are involved in decision. Making the prefrontal cortex which is the more advanced area. If i may and the more primitive if i may amid della and you know there's a balance between the two we tend to With inflammation unfortunately have more input from the primitive and magdala and as such are decisions are not really looking at the future as opposed if we can reconnect to the prefrontal cortex and that is the area of the brain that allows us to participate in a process of thinking of the long term consequences of our actions today s to be more empathetic. It allows us to be more compassionate has to tamp down this sense of us versus them. That comes from the amid bella. So we're trying to reconnect to the prefrontal. Cortex and in a as per our discussion of food and inflammation inflammation absolutely threatens that connection and i have to say that A thought came to me this morning while in the shower some of my best thoughts come to me and shower and having read the new york times this morning they had an interesting article about what's going on in brazil with reference to deforestation the amazon. Not a good thing. I think most people would agree with that but that said what has happened to the thought process around the globe. is influenced by the globalization of the western pro inflammatory diet. That as this western diet a finds its way to every corner of the globe. It's changing how people across our planet think and behave

Then she and malik watched the two thousand eight documentary the business of being born which is critical of medical interventions and depicts a successful home birth. We both looked at each other. And we're like. I think that's the call. Gd says they placed a blow up bath in their bedroom and sent their three cats and border collie away when the midwife expressed concern that the sphinx and maine coon felines might puncture the tub with their claws. Malik ask gee-gee what music she wanted to hear and she surprised him by requesting the audio of favourite children's novel the indian in the cupboard. Hello her arms wide on the threshold in. Camo print puffer and boots. I'm proud of her face on magazine but seeing her give birth was a whole other level of proud yolanda says you go from looking at her as a daughter to looking at her as a fellow mother. The natural transitions and generational shifts of new motherhood are at play in the household. It is a family happily influx on the sprawling. Thirty two acre property. The handful of cottages are designated for different siblings. But this summer. When g g moved out of her cottage into zan's house bella and brother anwar graduated to larger cottages leaving. But motherhood is a new phase and it will be up to g g to decide whether it belongs on the silhouettes of social media. I think she wants to be real. Online's as bella twenty four by phone from new york city but until her child wants to be in the spotlight and can make the decision herself. She doesn't want to put her in that position. Why 10 Super Bowl Appearances Won't Satisfy Tom Brady
"Hey thanks for joining me man. Good to be here. Seth wicker sham is a senior writer at espn and he's covered. Tom brady since his rookie year in the nfl. Words with you. Seth you are. Espn's resident. tom. Brady you've been covering brady for nearly twenty years. I believe at this point. You're the first person to report. That brady was looking for a way out of new england back when that was on thinkable and honestly kind of dangerous to suggest in the boston area. But your piece out. Today ahead of. Tom brady's tenth super bowl in tampa bay with the buccaneers. It actually begins a decade ago back in new england. What happened a couple years ago. I was in tom. Brady's house and we were in his living room and he was telling a funny story about bill belichick. It was a saturday morning meeting before a game against new york. Jets and bella. Check was watching film of mark sanchez. Running out of the pocket rolling to his right players it is heels and he had a wide open receiver about sixty yards downfield on the opposite hash. So that's an almost impossible. Throw to attempt. I mean few quarterbacks ever would try that throw even fewer would complete it and the way that brady told it to me. That ballot check was just watching the play unfold and he was like just throw it. He's wide open. Why isn't sanchez. Throwing the ball and brady's little thought bubble was hilarious because he was thinking. I would never even attempt that throw. Do you have any idea how i would look in. Tried to throw that ball. And meanwhile checks just like can't get even more open. He can't get more open. Just throw it in. The way that brady explained to me later was very interesting because he said i see each play within my limits at the time. I didn't really see the significance in that statement. But when you watch. Tom brady now aged forty three years old and the entire sporting world asking how. He's done it how he's been able to get another team to the super bowl. I looked back at that statement. And i found a lot of answers in it was brady frustrated with ballot check. Invalid check suggested as much. I wanna get deeper into. Brady's thought bubble there. I think he thought it was hilarious. He he saw it as a defensive coach who had no bearing on the reality of how difficulties throw that ball. He wasn't frustrated with ballot check. He was like a little amazed that bella check thought that that type of pass would be so easy i mean. That's that's a john elway throw. That's josh allen throw mahomes through. There's very few people who could ever even try that and here. Ballot check was talking about mark sanchez. Saying he's not going to get more open than that. Just throw the ball. As kind of an indictment on the quarterback where brady saw it as you know something that was hard to believe. Couldn't believe that that his coach thought that a throw like that with that easy. And when you look at tom brady look at the arc of his career. He's someone who's kind of always understood his limits and by understanding them so well he's found a way to transcend them so those limits that he has this keen understanding of and that being this superpower. It is something that we can. Plainly see in contrast to josh allen and john elway and patrick mahomes and lamar jackson. These absurd physical talents. And that's been clear set ever since we saw brady with shirt off to be honest at the combine in two thousand but because he is also the greatest of all time without real serious dispute at this point playing more super bowls than anyone ever by far at to ask if you fully buy his explanation that that superpower is in fact and understanding of his own limitations. At first i didn't. And i remember. I was once in his house in two thousand thirteen back when we thought he was getting old. 'cause he was going to be thirty seven when the season started. And you know he can't play forever and he said something really interesting. He said there's nothing that will be able to replace football. And hopefully it gets to appoint where there is when i retire in nine ten years and he said it so offhandedly and so smooth that it was it went right over my head. It was a shot across the bow. Here was a declaration to play until he was aged forty five and he someone who has made a mockery of conventional wisdom. And so i thought there is no way when he said that that he was someone who learned how to play football within the scope of his own limitations. But as you watch him play you actually see it on the field. And i think that it helps define him as a football player because he can't do what aaron rodgers does. He can't do it. Patrick mahomes does these sort of amazing acrobatic throws but what he can do and what he's always been able to do is pick apart a defense and bleed teams to death. And i think that that's what he was getting at when he talks about playing within his own limits because he's so deadly an accurate when he throws short.
Tom Brady Praises Bill Belichick: ‘Could Never Have Accomplished The Things In My Career Without His Support’
"Does brady's that. He made a super bowl this year in his first year. In a new system in tampa. Does this prove that. He was the main factor in the patriots dynasty. And i'm not saying. I didn't have a ton to do with. He's obviously a great coach. But if everybody debates between the two is say brady was more responsible but of the two of them than bella. Check this seal it or do you feel different. Did you read having dollas quote. Yeah we decided place at the patriots way is really tom. Brady's way i've in thirteen of course salads and and anyway don't pay. I think there's reason though for what amendola is kinda tongue-in-cheek but think about you know. He wasn't doing this until he got tom. Brady and i think. Tom brady learned a lot from bill belichick and he he did. He said that today he said today that i give so much credit to bella. Check for teaching me so many different things but the dry that tom brady has is implemented throughout the whole organization especially the players and the play on the field. And you didn't see that this year in the same token and i think that is a you know and i'm not gonna give you know Tom brady all the credit bill. Belichick does take some of that credit but players make the system. Come alive and when you have players like tom brady. Who's a generational type player. He does make a difference and he wants everything to be a certain way and he's gonna demand from his players to play a certain way to be a certain way in the locker room and on the field and it showed it show when he was with with new england and it showed this year being

I don't I don't like I'm not a Tom Brady hater. It's a lot easier for me to like him now. He's not playing for the Patriots made me realize is much more of a patriots Bella check hater than I was a Tom Brady hater. Heads double check more than breaking a absolutely, but for you know, for for Tom Brady, this is gonna be his 10th Super Bowl. So here he is. After the game last night. Here's the deal. I'm the best. There is plain simple. I mean, I wake up in the morning, please, excellence and nobody could hang with my stuff. You know, I'm just, uh there's a big, hairy American winning machine. If you ain't first you're last Big, hairy American winning machine quote from Tom Brady last night after he helped his team win the NFC. Okay, Okay. He really Here is Tom Brady discussing the historic Super Bowl to go on the road, and we're not another road playoff game. Is it just a great achievement? You know, now home Super Bowl for the first time in NFL history, I think puts a lot of cool things in perspective Anytime you the first time doing something Usually a pretty good thing. So we have what the bucks have three road wins in the playoffs, and they're now going home to play in the Super Bowl. Tampa Bay is is having the Super Bowl this year. It's crazy. It'll be a I'm looking forward to that match up in a couple weeks. What's the line right now?

"Hopefully understand that, you know, spend more time living a moment short capturing a moment important, but you gotta spend more time living the moment rather than just capturing it and and I find that a lot of this capturing a moment through Instagram and photos and posting becomes this some you know, snapshoot move on next rather than actually off. Joining and there's no reflection. So we'll talk me through it. You know, it's a bad bit of mine. I say two people there's another person capturing moment rather living it what talk us through your perspective. I actually think it's quite scary how people are suggesting around instead of actually communicating with the other person. They're too busy trying to set up the picture to take the right pose or to take the right to capture the right page impression of the moment instead of actually living at and a sadly I think that we're going to see more and more of that where people are trying to curate and orchestrate how their life should be which only really creates more pressure on young people because they think they should be living a certain way and and and because of that then they're never spoke to actually create the the life that they want. They should should all over their life. And you know, I just think that it's really worrying. Yeah some wise words. So, you know, it's a real job. Good points there is about living your moment live the moment, you know being keep it authentic keep it real. It's not about other people. It's about you and stop trying to orchestrate your life, you know gain influence and definitely take control of it. But orchestrating it just reads this whole thing of being an authentic and we see a lot of that and I think keeping it real is is what it's all about. So in closing and in summary page, we've been discussing moments. It's always a pleasure to have my very wise wife on the show will be hearing a lot more over over the next twelve months on the show as we go Forge ahead and build a another business together which will tell you more about as week ago, but John until next time what would be your closing words to anyone listening to this that is a little bit confused about how they can go and live moments rather than Capture Moments. I think just having those Brain Breaks during the day and bringing your conscious awareness to your body and your thoughts and your mind and and moving down through whatever a pent-up anxiety that might exist and moving back to appreciation and gratitude and taking those Brain Breaks believe it or not. Actually really does that. Yeah, great words and thoughts, you know till next time go be the best. You can be don't be too hard on yourself. "Jim Collins talks about the some of the people around you his all different theories and theologies. But you'll find happy. People make you happy. Negative people making negative side. People Making said Donyo misery loves company. You've got to avoid. The negative. Paypal is too short when not here for a long time said try and get the negative people out of your life get the people that actually breed that positive vibe. Iran's you and it doesn't mean everyone has to be happy because it's not going to happen but you know you want people to tell you what you need to hear what you want to hear. That doesn't mean it's negative. What you want to look at is the people that are always taking the negative side of things that are always looking at the negativity. The ones that are always pessimistic. Not Somebody is trying to look out for you and say hey can give a different perspective. That's different it's the people that are constantly negative that you've got to get out of your life or at least avoid number four is if you don't go after what you want to get it. It's very simple and this ties in a lot where people bring other people down to make themselves look good. We'll talk about. Hey I want nice cars. Well everyone would love a nice garden in Moscow means different things to different people. But it's what you want. You need to go and get it. It's not gonNA come to you and that's something that my daddy said is you're the boss of your own money. You know the bus of your own life if if you want something you get it. Five is something that breaks a lot of people and this is all about failure learning from it saying failure as the beginning. Not An end understand. That failure is just the beginning of the process. It's not the end. No one goes out to fail. Failures is a bar product of having so it is just the beginning in think about that. Failure is a product of having. A failure is not a destination that needs to stop. Tyler is a beginning so it's a mindset of same right. I HAVE TRIED. I filed I now loan and I started game and that's GonNa be. The prices have ties into number four. Go after what you want. Annoys you get go after what you want. If the result is failure you stop you. Assess you learn and then you start again because you don't want to be the end and unfortunately the happens far too often In this world and heard some crazy steps the other day that seven. There's an average of seven miles day commit suicide Australia which is quite sad and alarming and unfortunately a lot of them probably suffer from this that they see failure as end. Failure is not an end fairly is beginning and we need to adopt that mindset especially with children s elves. We need drum leading into our friends into a family. That failure is just the beginning known goes out to fail failures a byproduct of having so have a go. If you fail you learn you. Assess you analyze and you start again. It's so so important number six in my phone and one is that habits to that future and we talk about this successful people form the habit of doing what other people don't prepare to very simply put so takes twenty one days to make or break a habit on average People take a few on either side make or break the habit twenty one days whether it's Stop Smoking. And I've explained to Dave that Vince is the easiest person in the WWe to talk to. What was your relationship with Vince? Like and do you agree that he was extremely easy to talk to so I definitely I mean. He's definitely intimidate. You do scare you go and I know why a remember you forget how to talk properly. Has you covered for mixed martial art? Hogan Rogan is the most important influence all broken down like nowhere else only on Sirius. Xm fight nascent channel. One fifty six bully one match. That definitely got people talking on. Social Media. Was the match with live Morgan and Charlotte flair for many different reasons. So let me ask you. What did you think of the match between live and Charlotte on Monday? You don't ask me I ask you because I'm the one who told you that I'm the one who wanted to talk about this. Okay so let me ask you but before I ask you. I'm going to go to twitter machine and read a tweet from. Wwe Front row. He said it felt to me. Like Charlotte really helped. Elevate live. Who did a killer job stepping up in that match even in a loss? She took a step forward. That's from the nation. What's your take. I agree with that. It's funny because a lot of social media feedback that I got after that match because I actually tweeted about it myself that I liked the match and I enjoyed what live Morgan was able to do. Everybody's like that was another example of Charlotte squashing. Somebody's momentum Why does she have to be on Monday night raw? She's on annexed champion. Why is she on raw? You know with somebody that they're building momentum for and having them lose I did not see it that way. I thought it was a competitive match. I thought live Morgan. Had a very good match with a champion like Charlotte flare so. I think it was a win win all around for both Charlotte and for live Morgan. Cool work with me here. Okay yes or no. Have we seen live Morgan? Take steps forward in her wrestling ability in the ring. Yes can you see that? She is trying and wants to improve. Yes her have her and Ruby had good matches over the past couple of weeks. Yes they have any negatives with him live Morgan's game CINCI has come back in the ring. No should she have had as a competitive match with Charlotte? I I think yes. I don't think I believe that live. Morgan could hang with Charlotte at the level. She hung with Charlotte the other night. I didn't believe it until I saw it fair enough. I think this is a classic case of making someone you have somebody like Charlotte flair and and this has been done throughout the history of pro wrestling. But you have someone like Charlotte flair. Who I think is the best when it comes to that women's division and the wwe sees the top of the mountain. And you had somebody like live Morgan. Who has done really good? Things has had competitive matches has looked good since he's come back and then she had an ultra competitive match with champion. Did she win? No she did not win for bed. She looked good so now coming out of that. I WanNa see live Morgan again. Now I'm looking at live Morgan as somebody that could compete at a main main event level. So again I'll say what I said before. I think that's a win for everybody. We're just talking about how they're not making anybody. They're not building anybody. I think the one rare example of them doing it right now. I live Morgan. And I can't see a baffles my mind it's confuses me that people could look at that match and say. Oh my God Charlotte killed. Live Morgan if anything. Charlotte made live Morgan on Monday night. Correctomundo and what did I tell you earlier about the advice that Jerry Briscoe gave to me and Yvonne? If you can't make anybody then who did you really be correct so it would have been very easy for Charlotte to blow through. Live Morgan because even though live is getting better she's not on Charlotte's level. Charlotte helped get her up to the next level that I expect live to beat Charlotte. Nope IF SH- if live would've beat Charlotte with a roll up and her legs on the ropes with that. Nope because in no way shape or form should live Morgan at this stage of the game. Be Beating Charlotte flare. It's not about winning and losing right now for living for live. It's the performance and her taking the next steps. Yup Charlotte went over but live dot over and she got over because Charlotte helped her get over. So all of those people talking Shit about Charlotte should be given Charlotte ovation for everything that she did for live and great job by live for stepping up her game to an athlete and a performer. A pro wrestler. That is four superior tour in every way shape and form that match worked. And I'm starting to see things in live that I saw in Trish years ago. And here's how this works complement wise. My saying live is the kind of wrestler that Trish was nope but one of the hardest working people I've ever come across in my career was Trish stratus and always wanting to get better. Every time she went out there she was constantly trying to learn. You couldn't beat the crap out of her hard enough. She never complained. She paid her fricken. Do's and she moved four. She constantly took steps forward. And that's what I'm starting to see in lives performance a willingness to take steps forward. And that's how you get to the top and I love what you said polling. This is wire it shame on the people that were killing Charlotte and and blaming her for killing the momentum of live Morgan. First of all. It's only a few weeks for live. Morgan. Let's let's look back at where live. Morgan was a year ago or even six months ago and where she is now and the way you perceive her after that match on Monday. Night but bully. It's what you just said it's steps guy. I don't understand fans they want everything right now. They want live Morgan at the top. It a card like that. What the Fuck is wrong with you? People it's steps it's gradual. That's how you build a story that's how you build a personality. That's how you build the character. There's an old adage in pro wrestling. Dave slow and steady wins the race and if they continue on with live right now with this. Gradual built. Have our have good match after good match after good match. Put Her in there with the right people. I gotTa Tell You. I thought her and Ruby did a great job. Those two matches they have and they're not doing a damn thing with Ruby riot. I think she deserves an opportunity. Also because I saw live and Ruby worked together really really well and live. Couldn't have looked as good as she did against Ruby. If re we did not do her job well also they both have unique looks. They both have unique characters. They're both young did them both opportunities and the opportunity is GonNa come again where she's going to be in the ring with Charlotte and when that time does come bully your perception of life is going to be completely different where you think you know what lift can lift can win lift compete. Charlotte that that was not the on Monday I was. I mean what did you want on Monday for live to beat Charlotte or for live to have another match with Ruby Riot? No this is a wakeup call. This is like Whoa. She's not there yet. She's not there yet but man maybe in like three or four months maybe live can hang which Charlotte flare from now to a year. Maybe she could have an opportunity with Charlotte. Nba Champion. But you got it like everybody wants a story. It's amazing to be. Everybody wants a story but they want the final chapter in chapter two. The there's a reason why. Your book has chapters builds towards the final climax. I don't understand why wrestling fans want the end. Right away makes absolutely no sense. You know you just. You brought up the word climate right and whenever you hear the word climax what do you think of you know you? Think of Purdue Sexual Experience Right yes. Are the best sexual experiences fast or slow slow? It's where you it's it's it's a moment it's an it's a build up you know it's a build up. The build up is done the right way. The climax means that much more and that's how I look at it with wrestling if you build it the right way. The payoff will be that much better. Yeah go really quick and get it over with. Yeah Bobo. But it's hit then it's there and gone and forgotten about. Yup and there is something to say about. Get in. Get on get out. Yeah but in wrestling. That doesn't work the majority of the time. Slow built so that when you get to that end result. There's something really there. That's going to last for a long time. And it's not just going to dissipate the moment it's over. Think about the confidence the wwe must have live Morgan to put her in the ring. Which CHARLOTTE FLARE BAGS for panel? That's that's Heyman came in one on one right there so so there's somebody in her corner. That sees something her and knows that she could be a major superstar. But here's the thing cut. Let's think let's think rationally right now are people. Are People going to give up on? Live Morgan because she lost that match two Charlotte flare bully was just saying about the amount of offense. She got into that match Sheila Gray in that match. She's not on the same level as charlotte nor should she bay. She shouldn't be anywhere near the level of a Charlotte Charlotte flares on top. And she's at the peak. So why would you have somebody at just got reintroduced? Somebody that just got a couple of wins under her belt. Go in there and have a showcase now all she needed. Was that little bit of offense and that little bit of confidence and that little bit of a showing for us to make us believe that. Wow somewhere down the road. She's GonNa get an opportunity again and maybe when she does she's GonNa win got. Did anybody ever see the fucking rocky movies for crying out loud? That's with the rocky. Movies were based on did rocky win in the first rocky movie we lost lost. Thanks for listening catches Monday through Saturday. I'm busted open from nine. "Wwe Hall of Famer the Greatest Tag team wrestler of all time bully Ray and I talk to the Bella twins. That's right Nikki. And Brie Bella. They have a new book out. We get into all of that. Push their career on today's episode of Busted Open. Also we get into Monday night raw and the dip severe dip. In the ratings we kind of answer the question why and also we get into one of the bright spots of Monday night raw live Morgan and Charlotte flare all that right now on the bus. Open podcast were you ever a Bella twins fan. I always liked the Bellas Fan of the bells. What was your what was part of their tenure and wwe to enjoy the most. I really liked their later. Part of their career when you know with the women's revolution kicked in and a lot of people hate on the beginning of their career. I actually liked that twin dynamic that they had were Nikki was getting the shit kicked out of her. She rolled out of the ring and Bray would roll in. You know if you remember their first match was it was Bree against is bell against Victoria Nikki. Bell actually got the win but I always liked their dynamic and you know I think they for a lot of their career. They were hated on unfairly but I think they got a lot of respect as their career went on. So it's going to be talking to them at eleven. Am Why do you think the unfair hatred? I just think because of where the women's division was in the wwe started to where it was and they changed. They adapted they evolved. If you if you look at the women's evolution in the wwe for where it was you know ten years ago to where it is right now. All you have to do is look at the Bellas. And what they were at the beginning of the career and how their careers develop and how they adapted they became damn good pro wrestlers both of them by the end of their careers. And you know what we always talk about the lack of real stars in pro wrestling. You know everyone talks about the Rock and the stone colds and the seniors and we haven't really been able to get that the last decade in the wwe you kind of have with the Bella twins because they are now as known from their wrestling career as everything else they do outside of the ring including their their TV. Show on a so. They're about as mainstream or even more mainstream than probably any wrestler right now on the wwe. Roster I would agree. They are superstars. They they they transcend. They step over the line and their books should be interesting. Their shows are always interesting. And I'm sure talking to them. We'll be fun and you know one woman. One more thing on the bill is before we move on again. They're going to be on at eleven. Am eastern time bully. Is that you always hear about Vince. Mcmahon says there's no guarantees. I don't give guarantees. I give opportunities if there was ever to people that took the most out of that opportunity. It's Nikki and Brie Bella. They took their opportunities. They knock down that door and they became mainstream superstars. I will agree that they became mainstream superstars. And I can tell you because I was there as the words came out of the man's mouth. He said BUBBA. There is no such thing as the push what we give you here is opportunity and that is the biggest word in the wwe and yes. The bell is maximized their opportunities. Now bully you mentioned the conversation that you and I are happened before the start of the show and it's not a it's not a conversation that is a positive conversation when I mean that is that it's not a conversation that I liked to have. It wasn't that long ago. Bully you and I were talking about the momentum in pro wrestling across the board and how is just getting bigger and bigger and it wasn't at the same heights of what we saw twenty years ago but we were getting there and and there are a lot of positive changes especially over what we saw the last decade. Since we've got into what we're world I guess you could say is the new normal in our world right now with everything that's gone on with this pandemic over the last couple of months. A lot of things have changed especially in the world of pro wrestling especially in the world of the. Wwe bully. When you look at Monday night raw and you look at smackdown on Fox and I'm just mentioning these two main stream a main roster shows for the wwe they have fallen about as far as you can fall and the proof is in the pudding when you look at Monday night. Raw and the numbers that they drew for this past Monday Monday by the way bully right before a pay per view a Monday before. Pretty big pay per view for the fans which is money in the bank and I think it was about a one point nine. I one point six for Monday night. Raw this past. Monday I mean. Those are putrid numbers and bully. We were having a conversation before to starting to show why and we blame a lot of it on the lack of a crowd. But now we've been having shows with a lack of a crowd for a while now. I don't think that's the problem right now with Monday night. Raw you would think that with no sports on TV and pro wrestling giving us the only semi live option that there is it comes to know new. Tv shows a sporting events you know pro wrestling able to weather all the storms that have ever been out there in reality and keep pressing along but something is going on and I don't think it has anything to do with lack of crowds. Now I have had friends. Tell me it's hard to watch the products. Whatever they may be without the crowd. They're just not the same. So if you'd have a fair weather fan or a fan that just watch casually. I guess they're not as entertained by the lack of crowds. But you would think with everybody's being forced to sit home but that would force them to watch wrestling a little more because it's basically one of the only things that's out there right now that still live or semi live so why would numbers be down or numbers down that much because there's no audience there. I'll give you a little bit of that. I'll give you some at the very least I would have thought that. Wwe would maintain and I think if they would have just maintained their their normal rating. They'd be totally fine and listen at the end of the day. They're gonNA be totally fine no matter what 'cause it's Vince. And he will find a way because he always does and his history is dictated. Here's what I believe the issue is and I've been talking to you about this for a long time and I think it's finally and rearing its ugly face. There's no star power on the shows. They have not built up their second tier the way they built up their second tier years and years and years ago. You have your handful of talent that is over and then you have everybody else. These stars are not at the level that people want to invest emotionally into Zelina. Vega is a friend of yours. She's a friend of mine. She's a friend of velvets. She does a phenomenal job every single week. She's out there along with the crew that she's out there with right. Who does she have asset with her? Dave Andrade Austin Theory Angel Garza. How many weeks in a row have we seen all this talent now? We have seen him every week since this pandemic has started. Are you that into any of those talents where you need to see them every week? No and I know way to answer your question simply know the answer to that is now. And why are you not into those talents? Why you don't have to see them every week. Well for me. It's because what have they done? Like what if they done in the ring or added a ring? That says hey. I want to watch these wrestlers each and every week. Now to your point Selena Vega has done it but Selena vague is not in the ring competing Selena Vegas p. She's the manager. We seen her on commentary. She's highly entertaining. See somebody that I liked to watch on my TV. But as far as the wrestlers that she's a part of both for the most part they lose. I mean this pass Mondays another example of that so they have built those wrestlers up to a point where it's like. Oh my God I gotTa Watch and see what they do. Next week. The problem is let's go. Let's go to the to the product before all of this pandemic started. They weren't positioning these talents. To be main event players they were part of fifty fifty crew. The fifty fifty crew is. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose sometimes. You're on TV. Sometimes you're off TV. And it never gives a fan an opportunity to really get into anybody because they're used sporadically. It's like okay. What do we have for Seth? What DO WE HAVE FOR CHARLOTTE? What do we have for Roman? And then whatever's left over. Let's divvy up amongst the rest and they're in that divvy up amongst the rest crew and if you're only getting some TV time here and some TV time there. Yeah it is your job to maximize that. Tv time in and hit a home run every single time as Lena is doing but as far as the talent in the ring people really don't have an opportunity to get into them. Really really get into them to do you want to see. Drew McIntyre beat brock listener. Of course yes we wanted to see. Drew McIntyre beat Brock. Lester do you care about this match at money? In the bank between drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins I am Bildt interest I to be honest a mild interest in the match. You Use the word mild. And that's why they're at a point one point six there you go in this during these times. You can't afford to be mild. That's why you're getting a mild rating and I don't like to talk about the ratings. This rating is not about. Oh my God. They did one point six. This is more indicative about how the wwe used to build everybody up and now they only build certain people up and now all of a sudden you have a situation where you can't have those people on tv all the time and you're second tier talent needs to be up there back in the day if you go back and watch Dave all at one time stone cold rocky triple H cactus taker. Cain they were either gone or hurt or off. Tv whatever what the WWe do. They relied on their second tier talent. Who was able to step right up. They were just waiting in that. Batter's box ready to get up there. And they were swinging away and the wwe never dipped now. We're seeing a massive dip and we keep go back to the mid eighties. When Hogan was on top and Hoagie was on top for a long time. You look at that. Mid Card of you know Roddy Piper and junkyard. They were day. Where you'd superstars you'd soup and that was that. Was You know under the champ? You look at what you just said it and we've talked about it last week the MVP and say it again to me the MVP of Monday night. Raw has been Selena Vega. That's a problem when SELENA VEGAS. Not Actually in the ring competing. She manages three wrestlers. Let's use the example from this past Monday. You said it Angel Garza Angel. Garza was eliminated by Umberto at the beginning of that. Show Austin theory. Somebody else's she manages. He came into the ring next. He was quickly eliminated by Umberto. So where's the built here? You're still relying on the people that the same people that you relied on a year ago. That's why you get. Aj Styles back as early as you got AJ styles and they completely dismissed match. That happened a month ago at Wrestlemainia. Thirty six because they need to have him in the ring. They need to have him compete. Because you don't know what to do with this crop of wrestlers on your show creatively. Correct me if I'm wrong creatively. They're lost because you just mentioned where. Hey if somebody gets injured you know next man up and you're going to make them look as big and as much of a star as possible the. Wwe's not doing that right now. The next man up is meaningless to a lot of fans because as you said you have done nothing. Nothing to build that person up to where it's a persona or a character that you want to watch on a weekly basis. Nobody's get was getting any real reps in the. Wwe enough reps where fans could be like. Wow I really liked this performer. Where I really hate this performer. And then a situation where they could put those performers in a spot and people could be like. Oh Yeah. I'm into this person. Let me ask you this. Who's must see TV on Monday night? Raw or smackdown. Right now. Back I'd probably say Otis is must see TV. Just because I'm interested in the storyline and Otis's entertaining Otis without Mandy. And you can't say Otis without Dolf and you can't say oldest without Daria so all those people together. So if you're GonNa say Otis you gotta say all the supporting players because Otis on his own is nothing without the supporting players in that story. So if that's must see for you that's great. Is that going to carry the smackdown rating? No which show is must see for you right now. The the show that I constantly say I look forward to entertain me. Entertain ME FROM BEGINNING TO END. Is He w dynamite on Wednesdays which wwe product is must-see? See for you. There isn't one right now. These are all my points that I'm trying to. This is why when you only allow certain people to get over and you quote unquote hold others back and never let them flourish. When you don't let the talent be talented. This is what happens. I find myself watching a bunch of people when I sit back and watch Selena Vega and her crew. I know that Austin theory is a talented wrestler..

"This is flash caused by PAYDAY. And today we're joined by Ali Dibella. My little boy's ten years old and I thought it was good timing as they get prepared to go back to school and not actually physically go back to school But schooling from home the so Ali had actually he got schooled from home one week before this all started. His school was prepaid and they made them school at home for a week. So I WANNA get some insights and get him to share his perspective and hopefully this can help a lot of the other kids out there and parents can share it with their children so perspective coming from a ten year old boy Ali. Welcome to the show. You've been on the show before I and tell me. Do you enjoy doing this with that. Northbound at good bonding time. But do you enjoy doing this. Sort of thing off topic but yeah he's off topic. Okay let's get into it said. Tell me carnivorous. What comes to mind when you hear that Corona virus cycle distancing and getting trapped in? Your House can can so Well you're not trapped obviously but there are obviously rules in the rest of it. But how does that make you feel the social distancing What's happening at the moment now? What sort of feelings do you feel? I feel kind of guilty because About other people who aren't have this suitable things to fend off the current a virus. Some people out there that don't have the resources we talk about some of cut resources and sometimes And of course we pray for the Molen in wish him all the best and as we've always been doing inside the people if everyone can help a little bit in any way or form because there are people with less fortunate and don't have the resources to be able to fulfil their responsibilities now alleanza get ready to go back to school but you know actually not going back to school Tell us a little bit. How was the week before? Lasko holidays when you did actually school from home you had to come to the office. Because of his mom and dad were working and the Internet to look better here than home. And you had to wear your school uniform. Can you tell our listeners? A little bit about experience and what you thought about. It's not that different but when it just feels different. It's like you're more free like I could start my video on zoom. Gory get something from the Fridge Ebay. Then stop my video again and no one would notice so of course it requires a lot more discipline. And that's going to be one of the tips for people is that you need to make sure that discipline. It's a great time to actually make sure that you are disciplined and focused because you can get distracted a lot easier and remember. You're a little bit distracted by other kids playing up In one of the sessions where you felt frustrated so it's important for people to see. Scifo Khusro. Yes give us a tip around staying quirks. You'll get this. Do Forty five minutes of exercise in every afternoon social distance and listen to the news with fifteen minutes guy. That's different Listen to the news fifteen minutes but make sure you get your news from multiple sources. Not just one because as we talk about as a lot of conspiracy theories and all the rest of that so tell me you looking forward to US next week. Not that much. I'd rather be in class. And how do you think it's going to go next week with not being in class? So we've been told for five weeks classes at physical causes. You're going to be schooling from home. How do you feel about that? Last week wasn't very serious like we had pet. Bring your pets to school day. I don't have any pets but we're getting one off topic. But so how do you feel about going back to school? I don't really feel I feel anxious. 'cause if I forget something that's it I had to explain to my teaches. What's happening so the case is going to be to be prepared. So give us some tips. Give us some tips about you. Know How you can get through Schooling from Hong. So obviously be prepared. Make sure you've got everything you need for the for that day. Stay focused what else. What else should make sure they doing when this ruling from listening and and hopefully they have a little self respect and they don't rush through their work or even was not do that work because obviously the teacher can't supervise you. He said it's going to be a lot about people being responsible. But also what about asking questions route? Yep Can I ask you a question far away what do you think? Do you think this is a good or bad impact on our family. Well I watched the positive things as I said to me. It's been a good thing because it's it's made everything slowdown in. May Get an exercise. More saw walked with you in the morning. I've worked with MOM with Annika. We exercise together as a family in the afternoon. We've played no. We've watched cars together which we haven't done too many years. We've done gardening together and one thing. I love doing that. We've been cooking and eating altogether of an odd time. So that's been the amazing positive things that have come out of this and as you know. Dad Causes a correction bars now. I never saw this coming There's GONNA be A lot of learning out of this for children as well. You're going through times that this is going to be important to you to to build resilience to build strength to understand that. Not Everything in the world is going to be positive and great so you know life is full of moments and moments are going to be good amendments. Going to be bad and when it's bad you appreciate the good and when it's good you need to understand that sometimes they'll be bad moments route. I wanted to ask you another question throughout history. We've faced a lot of sickness that has been smallpox says. Being the Spanish for in West will the bubonic plague which took two hundred years to repopulate. So how do you think this is GonNa do you think this is GonNa be the same or different one? Looks for sure and printing. Press that you know that stuff so that you chips been doing you will general that you've been watching. I think if you have a look at it it's it's they've all been Correction viruses in one way or another When of course have been terrible and disastrous on one side and on the other side. There's been some positive effects flow from it and learnings and I think this'll be different This is unfortunately going to affect a lot and have a negative impact on a lot of things a lot of people especially the economy being really really bad now but I think if if we stay positive mindset and these days a lot more people work on on their mindset and understand the concept of mindset more if we actually truly understand mindset. We're GONNA come out of this realizing how little we need. What's most important elements and how important it is that in times of good to plan for bad and when it's bad to plan for good so there's GonNa be a lot of positive things but again. I'm quite biased. Because I'm positive by nature but I think if we look at history and you combine to now We need to really go through this with their eyes open and see all the positive things in the other side and as I said people of your age for Children. This is a time where everything's gone so well if you look at your short. Lav OF TEN YEARS. This is the first major thing you've had to see or experience. Other people go to experienced World War One mobile to the Spanish flu. And you say that made them resilient made them smarter stronger. Better more equipped. So hopefully that's the impact is has for people of your generation is that it makes you understand what you need to do that. You need to plan for good when it's bad and plan for bad when Tom's a good to save money and have backup and reserves to be able to help people when they need it and dumped to take Silk K And all the rest of it so I think that it could be a positive thing that comes out of a negative thing for the first time I've been on the show. I want to ask you a riddle. That people can say. Guess by just pulls pausing the PODCAST. Why would man one to have the current a virus I and not lost? And you know. I'm not good at riddles. So we're going to let the listeners. Ponder that one or you actually GonNa give them the answer. I will give them the answer but they compose the Po- cost the answer is viruses mutate and and it would be very hard by that time which means it wouldn't be a real just like a floor that would just go away off to some time so what's better to have it. I still lost probably at first. Because you don't get the mutated vision and when did you need this? I may creative now. Listen one last question because we're GONNA keep this under ten minutes firstly. Thank you for being on the show. It's always a pleasure because we never know what's GonNa come out of that beautiful mind of yours which is one of the greatest things children and parents at their quickly. Please join overestimate things. But don't underestimate things. You have to have a balance and please trust the government heartfully. They're doing something you know how I feel about some of the government. Some of the government's been griped. Some have it. "You're listening to the Beller Mrs Flash House by PDB. Today I'm GonNA tackle the question. Drain friendships had a few people from different devils loss. I'm sending some messages about What he's friendships main to me. So we're going to be Tilton. Old Thing is friendship This simple side Let me stop by by Dan. We need friendships in personal professional and family loves so we need dumb friendships. Obviously family friendships often comes through. Children all comes through Relatives When they dug pestle friends. It'll be that we've had monitored from school even as far back as kindergarten and of course you personal friends will meet along the line. And of course we have them. Professional whipped with friends with is school. Where the work is a university. Or whether your work is at the professional world We create friendships friendships on all three levels. And obviously all of us have friends from HBO lives And I WanNa tackle the concept of friendship. Another means to me Then condemn a little bit about that subject so let me stop outside. I'm the true meaning of a friendship. That is when you actually consider the other peasants wellbeing to be as valuable as Iran And that beautiful weather. Values comes upsets me. The true meaning of friendship is when neo considering the other person's wellbeing that they said mind that they ran the deadly would they? They ran personality dependent. They are is just as valuable as Iran? If you feel this way about a pessimist. I believe they're a true friend. You can't possibly consider someone a true friend if I'm They another person's wellbeing and it set Nathan values done a line and I think that sends a really good way to look at it with to decide whether someone is is a true friend Over the at a true friendship with the person is whether you genuinely care for they will bain and that you'll venues Alon and that's that's two things that are really really important to make when I'm considering whether somebody Is a true friend because a wig friend is thrown around a lot in as good friend wants it to me. This friendships in his acquaintances. And there's a Lotta tons at We have acquaintances in our lives. That we believe that friends and head until the difference. Well that's that tomase really good way to tell. The difference between a friend and an acquaintance is genuinely care for this person's wellbeing on all levels and do the values along with mine And if they do will win that some the friend to make the an acquaintance unsigned that. Let me give you a few wise at Johnson said nuts down on. How can you tell one of the questions? his head. Can you tell a fight front and I get that a lot of thought Jodi Denson nuts In in this is what I came out with to me on L. I can tell you know a friend And number one is at the front is always conditioned on something. The friendship is only conditional the friendship exists if conditions implies segler. Earning your friend if you're doing something for your friend if you there if you need that it's always conditional the best friendships are unconditional. The next one is your friend acts differently. When you're random people and I find that Somebody's acting differently not being themselves in Iran other people. Then there's been a fight friendship happening. Fake friends will speak polling. When you're not around a true friend to me we'll tell you who knows anything about you wouldn't say to. Faisal already had spoken to you about so. That's another one that I can tell effect. Friend friends will stop talking to you disagreement. Now that's conditional Point Number One when? It's unconditional if we're agreeing will not always going to agree. You have different beliefs on certain topics of coast. Venues need to align but doesn't mean you're always going to agree and if ahead telephonic friend is that they stopped talking when you not agreeing with them because it's okay to disagree It's actually healthy to disagree and help each other grow. As you learn and discuss things you density will agree with on the next one. Is that fight trends disappear when someone more interesting shows up this common? You'll say the specially them in gatherings enough saying this in the school scenario Whether it's social outings of Saint Missing Sporting clubs is that dumb piplo token to you rita. They talk to you the having fun the hanging out with you and then someone will interesting. The high status up. I'm all of a sudden Betcha so that's that's another jotted down is very interesting In a good way to affect friend is number. Six Site Friends Watson to want something from you In Norway spoke about is someone want to take and and the friendships? That are all about give-and-take. They did help you when you needed. You'll there to help them a nine needed and so it's all about giving saving however Into want something because when they need something the token to you and they want something said something to be aware of the number seven. I'm still hanging out with you if you say not died assists that boundaries Foot down That Tad bell sort of distance themselves from you so this is another really good way to see his girlfriend in his not at number. I like friends have tried to help you achieve your goals. So they're not there to help you up. I wish that that you've got a certain yourself with gripe table and you're going to certain people that help you achieve what you want to be entertained. You gotta be there to help them. Achieve by to ban this as part of the give and take steps to see a patent here where it all becomes a one-sided said you know the great way and the way to tell us son perfect friend is if it's all one sided if it's all about them said number nine the bring you down and this happens a lot. I talk to people in. Am they settled the person's my friend but when actually breakdown while people side a good way to do this if you're not sure this is ever conversation somebody in your dental the negatives panel the negative things that say about you in compensation and if there's nothing but there's a good weather. Vicenza notified friend. If there's lots well you know because tight friends. WanNa bring you down good friends WanNa put you on a pedestal. So something to really be aware of Another one is affect fron. Segial needs a month's as a nuisance so when you need something well once I make from someone they see you as a hindrance at they put up by That happens a lot when people say well. I've always been that help somebody but when I asked them for help that it's like I'm putting the map so it's something that you really need to look at and the final one number eleven to me Trends done accept you for who you are you know. Acceptance is a very very big pie of friendship and if people are accepting who you are than a good chance that actually not a friend And something needs to really be aware of because you again. It's all about being there for the good times. Insulin Also for the difficult times and that's why I say life is a journey and down to experience moments. So love is a journey and lock is measured in moments true friendships. Let's sit there will bet Engaging in mutual interests and also Sharing values says if somebody's a true friend that it because I really believe in your well being and they shared values. And if that's the case then you'll say that eleven things are covered on site friendships What happened so I'm a little bit of attempt like the To save somebody is is a true friend. Now why do we really need friends? And that was one of the questions that come through well. Friends are important on that. There's been studies shown that friendship's important because of the feeling a good friend can bring you. It's been proven that ventured success in life. Expectancy that Lois. Chances of have the seasons down friendships is all about being connected. Feeling emotionally engaged. Feeling valued You know having a sense of of Togetherness in earnest ship that somebody actually value in case for your well being and this is something that's been scientifically proven that friendship ignites the part of the Bryan. That makes us feel good. You know when you're having a positive friendship and having a positive moment you'll Brian Rex. Completely different to when things are going wrong with friends. And obviously you know we translate this into moods In a mood to genuinely affected by what's happening in their lives. And that's what's important great friends or manager and it's not the amount of friends you have It's the quality of friendships that you have. It's the depth of the friendship. You have so what's with friendships going date not wide It really amazes me. People talk about how many friends have but rather than the death of the relationship. So you know that to me sums up friendship and more Important but when you're looking at friends remember it's not about the the amount of friends that the debt in the quality of the relationship. Could People WanNa bring that your best and you bring in the best of other people you've been listening to fill the Bella and this is Flash Casper. "Hi You're listening to the Beller and this is flash costs by PD. I'm here with my beautiful daughter. Anika Dibella and we're GONNA THE DOOR FLASH CARDS UP THE CUP. Where at remarkable is ready to have a ski and we thought we'd be productive in flesh? Cast some Annika. Welcome to the show. Hi I'm a how much you love doing these things and you get shy but it's okay. I can hear your voice not see your face my darling. So it's all good. Let me ask you the following question. What is it that you love most about scoreless spending time with family? What does it mean to you to spend time with your family I I find it away how it can net and we just and we have we create special memories and I did I just enjoy. It is the time because they're very lucky that we get to Dir. Go Away on holidays instead instead of staying harm tell me tell me about reflecting on the year. So far You're in grade six last year of primary school and be gear. Lots of works at Margaret's a great school But they work you had. Has it been. Tell me something here I stand out to you in the past year I well I have a facing teaches and I noticed since I've moved to sint Margaret's kind of being just getting better. Grades is in. Its to Spain so much hotter on me in a good way and I've been getting a mocks. Nia Six I think is just kinda console car encouraged to study more and keep trying our best instead of just walking into school surprise. Is We have a test. And what do we say. Where awareness goes energy flows and every day to be the S? You can be an remember that it's your journey and we talk about at that. Don't worry that it's not a destination. It's about a journey and making sure that you have a good support around you. How important the people around you that you have in your tribe well my friends are amazing? Very comforting I consider myself to these makeup because is I am the one who brought us together and then we have all the fights and all that but there are genuinely good people and I love them all. And then my family's fabulous. How do you deal with conflicts when France and obviously it's part of the journey that certain people are going to argue How do you find the best way to tackle that the peacemaker most of the time? It's kind of funny. Because they text me the exact same time complaining about the exact same thing with a huge paragraph for it so I usually cold them. If I'm not near them and I will encourage them. Certainly talk to each other about why they were fighting and any say they're sorry and kind of calmly state than point-of-view level conflict is pest management communication and we talk about communication being the common denominator of failure and getting them together in a room to talk about it. And do it in Conway is a very very smart and considered good way to do that. tell me. Is there a time that you fan very challenged by being or pressured by being the peacemaker so we have a lot of chat fights and friends kept fighting about statistics over school beings what it was and and then it went onto this whole drama about being there being mean to me that bullying me. That was nice. People left the group chat and then and so he kind of I. It was hard to get everyone back on vo eventually. Did it and oversee conflict and again communications common common denominator. And let me give you a tip as you know. Daddy went and did a course at Harvard in Boston. And I feel very grateful of that and the one thing that I lent their about negotiation was is that the best negotiations is about keeping things at interest level People WanNA argue about their rights and their power and the best thing to do is always keep things at an interest level Poland. If you keep things at interest level then you'll find that conflict normally gets resolved or humane association situation. You always negotiate successfully. If you're able to keep the discussion at interest level tell me what do you want to do when you finish school. What's going through your mind now? And of course that might change between now and when you finish but what's country minded at the moment. I want to be an oddest slash anime somehow or a dent so Much chaining in the dancing. But I've seen doing it for at least two and a half years now and I am grateful that gets do it and Animated Idar. I just loved odds toes. Really Alito Sir. I just kind of taking it off. I guess it's important to have dreams of course and visions we talk about visions very important. Of course that might change between now when you finish and that's okay but making sure that you do have some sort of vision right now is very very important favorite subject at school least favorite subject at school French. Why because teach just creates this whole environment arment big deal about Oh a+ serenely otherwise they hate you and you don't deserve to be in my class isn't it funny that teaches shape Whether a student likes a subject or not we talk about that a lot that obviously a lot of the Times on students dot mica subject is because then like the teachers. So what can you do. Better to to navigate. You'll feelings towards the teacher because remember your journey's about you being the best you can be and you're not always going to lock your teachers. What can you do better to navigate that Nice? The time I kind kind of just ignore comments not throwing my teacher under the bus but she called me a really rude name just because I have hair over my face that was nice but I kind of just ignore your kind of sometimes hats US class in general but most of us just ignore her friends sometimes study out of class and just kind of communicate. Our we feel about her. Most parents have already kind of it. Contacted ads each but she's a high school teacher so I don't really blame her because all sticks there but yeah well. That's that's that's very good that you can articulate feelings on the rest of our remember. Daddy talks about being respectful and always stating you know you'll position and you'll feelings but doing it in a very respectful manner because you can always get get your point across but it needs to be done in a very respectful common considered not with anger emotion but always always encourage you to speak up and speak. Pick your truth and we do know that underdeveloped certainly likes to speak truth fishy when you lose your marbles at mom or dad. Isn't that right. Yeah favorite. Kobe jarring tell me what's your favorite sport. Dad's consider this what dancing otherwise is nothing. What do you love about dancing? Because you're you're very creative person you level the creative things. What is it about dancing that you love? It gets me some move festival which I think mom is is very happy about but it's kind of a way to express emotion in a way and it's kind of cool just two head of my dad's a level of musicality which means I kind of take the and I usually use my muscle memories that practices my muscle memory. And then it eventually comes naturally in Matt's when I'm walking out a strategy I completely completely forget that I'm actually doing it and yeah that's pretty Kirk. Tell me some advice that you would give someone younger than you. You're take your you've got a brother two years younger and you're an amazing system to him. Tell me I am does your opportunity to share some of your wisdom with younger people What would would you say to people if you were coaching? Someone younger than you can't keep going on your piece. Even if people criticize you I get that a lot of people say oh oh they look with or proportions are off and Oh it's not my style. Actually go that comment to couple weeks ago but just keep going knowing eventually someone and most people end up liking yacht. Or whatever you're doing if you just keep trying and practicing and putting in the effort with like old schoolwork and everything you want officer and more about from a personal point of view from a AH mindset what would you say to somebody younger than you from a mindset always keep a growth mindset. That's one thing Giving up is definitely one way to just completely wipeout yourself. self-sided definitely don't give up and always think that no matter how hard you try. Hi It's your best Mestizo you can give. That's awesome anchored spending absolute pleasure to have you on the show as usual thank you. I'm proud of you and love you dearly. "My wonderful children Masonic Dibella an alley the Bella and we're going to be doing the topic about children and technology so As we know very topical I have been asked many times by listeners. Saying how do you do with your children and technology do the led technology and all the rest of it. Well of course he injuries they are led technology and used in the correct way. Immoderation it can attribute to growth mindset onset of course if technology is not used in the right way to me I call it dumb if occasion it can actually make children a little bit more dumber or susceptible in a way of what's going on but enough for me. Let's hear from a little wonderful little nine year old and amazing eleven your own and get their perspective of tehcnology so let's start with Alli Dibella Ali. Welcome to the show your contact person about yeah doubt okay tell me what is the best thing about technology. I could minecraft it. It's a game where he can build things make villages changes and basically do whatever you want everything. So what's great about that. What do you think that brings to your life? He can make sculptures. It kind of brings out your imagination. So you use minecraft for your imagination. Do you think that you spend too much time into sometimes yes comeback to Anika. What's coming to you right at the minute? What's trending on technology fear? I play line Catholic. Ali I think in kit depends how you use it but we just recently opened up a railway can connect to all of your friends so we kind of use it as insatiable icing thing when we don't really get to see them. Okay so you use obviously minecraft because it's creative and we're very blessed. John and I both to very creative children. So minecraft is obviously good good for that. But now it's interesting you bring in the concept of socializing with your friends heady you're actually communicating with your friends heady scope back. WHO's on facebook that on your social media and WHO's not not social media because you guys done social media sorry but who's on your technology playing the game you play with strangers will be play with people that you know people we might use and your strict on that? You don't let any new visit as does Ali you play with friends that you know. Of course yes but there's something to say about that. There's something called service but you can play on service with different people. I'm very there's a lot of restrictions so it's very safe by you. Still get to play with other people so you very careful and who you allow into the realm of into to the group and you've been taught the dangers and obviously to be aware of state stranger danger and feeling that is something that you think about a lot allen you know playing are you conscious about it or is this something that you do. It's I'm very conscious about it because this is one time once I said to on the call. I think this is. This world is This realm is to. I'm spacious to to anyone in my theory in hunch was right because minutes later two strangers join the realm and they messed up everything that you to deal with that deprive around instead okay. It's good so your theory aware of Saint Stranger danger and both them courses at school on it which is fantastic and obviously mom and myself a very vigilant so one of the things that we did for listens obviously we set boundaries and parameters for our children. There's certain games allowed to play certain games in the alley. What some of the Games that you play? It's it all comes down to age restriction news. It's an old gap but it's cool. Oh fortnight what's mom and dad's viewing fort not that it's if if you had a little bit of a deeper knowledge you would would know that it's really addicting and people do something really bad over it like two examples one. Someone broke Komo TV because they wasn't allowed to play full night and second. They actually left their family on a gun. Yes it's you the plus but since has no graphic one. It's considered an atom game woods very very good analogy they so it should be can. This is coming. I'm from eleven year old. Should be an outright guy but it's actually being an end game that you can't be under the age of fifteen to play fortnight. Either yet. I know a lot of people that do. And that's not a judgement. I'm just using it as an example that myself and Jonah put parameters in place but more importantly we explain to children why they should be doing something why they shouldn't be doing something. Is that right. We encourage you to think and make sure that you're always being the best And remember that choices are yours to make in that we need to be in growth mindset so on a positive tell me what other things can you do with technology you know of course in schools these days is they using technology all the time for positive using you guys got a laptop side and start using a computer till I was in grade ten. You guys are using computers Grade Three so obviously technology you guys. It's positive what what some of the awesome stuff that you guys do with Technology Annika and I edit a lot of videos fiscal well. I'd digitally draw on my laptop and I talked to one of my friends. WHO's not at my school that no matter the moment okay? So there's some guys that you're using technology in a positive way on either we love you during and that digital drawing devotion got his fantastic. I'm and it helps. Keep all your memories and it's paper free and all the rest of it so that's really really good too and of course a really dear friend of yours are that doesn't get to the same school you bet you went to school with early years. Promise go obviously get to communicate with with her with Nikola often to use technology which is fantastic alley for you one of the positive things that you're doing this morning your show me you were looking something on a diary. Yeah that was also part of Mine Cross for this folks in minecraft that you in writing these down but one thing I used to school of what is one narves like we touchy shares Jazz Account. So I'm sure most people had a news one note but your teacher assigns you something on one more and you do it doc. It's fantastic because not even your own secret. Not even deadliness had one. I use the word Microsoft Word or use obviously outlook and that's the beauty of technology if if embraced incorrect. And I suppose that's probably the MRI jeter this flash concerts. If the technology is a good thing it's all part of evolution and remember that technology was built by people my age and older yet. We blind the use of that technology. The youth are actually biproduct. Those that built the technology which official angel older that have actually bought technology into people's lots odds now you guys are embracing it and everything's evolving and my point would be that technology is a great thing that's part of evolution and it's actually an extra resource that helps you achieve more if if you use it correctly but the key is obviously using technology in the right man and being vigilant but one of the key things is obviously too much screen. Time causes bed is too much screen. Time out forces us to keep our head down and not up and looking around says something. We all the time. Isn't it especially in the car driving. What do we you say? Get off the technology and look at and absorb what's going on Ranji Robert and mealtimes correct so starting to boundaries but of course todd AH technology is a great thing in of course we will guilty of it including myself when we go to dinner. It can be easy to let the kids planned technology but again what we've done and is embraced what they're using the technology for so in closing because it's always a privileged to have much of wonderful children on the show some insights from yourself. What would your advice be somebody to other parents about Technology Unida definitely set restrictions surprisingly all these? It's not the one who doesn't have glosses has not does not have glasses. And he's the one that spends more time on it and I ended up with glosses from looking king so close to a screen so definitely set restrictions on IPADS even if like. It's going to cause a whole drama. It's still worth I in the long run. What would your advice be appearance? I'm GONNA add onto on a kiss. I use GonNa have some distance between you can still play on it for a decent amount of time but you can't put like your nose is actually touching the screen. That's that's right you class and also get out there and enjoy life front actually playing sport in getting there in the -mongst environment and not being unsociable. Because that's something we need to make sure people especially children become good communicators okay. It's always a privileged by apes you've been listening to Rush Casper P._D._B.. And until next time either as can be..

"You're listening to fill the BELLER and this is flash passed by and as you know with many series I've had had my children and my wife on this in I've had plenty more requests of people asking to hear more from my family said today. Got My special little boy. Ali Dibella Woah with me and I asked him what topic we wanted to talk about and he said dead like to interview you about family life. So I'm going to get any interview today by my little young man who's ten years old and let's see how this Guy Ali welcome to the show who is a pleasure to have you got a bit of the following day eight and a half thousand listeners. Listening to the flesh costs by and IOS right with some of the best so firstly thank you. Thank you for being here. uh-huh okay you lock all handover to you and you take the reins go far away so I question. What's it like raising children when tomorrow? Just just one newborn babies K.. Newborn babies well Annika oversee was first. Your sister who is two years older than you and I have to say both were amazing experiences and a little bit different. Of course the first one when Annika was born was very scary so it was exciting but scary. Because you don't know what to expect correct as we say you know what you know and the first time you see this little magical baby tiny and your your mum was carrying around around for nine months and then you see it for the first time it gets very emotional. So it's big excitement but it's also very scary when of course when you already knew what to expect but Jeez when you came at the excitement was just assigned and the warmth and the feeling and we felt so privileged because we were always said we'd love to have a girl and a boy and of course we'd be happy with whatever we were given by God. We ended up and very fortunate to have a pigeon pay to have a AH beautiful girl and a beautiful little boy so the feeling is just undescribable and parents that they will understand that. It's very hard to put into words what it feels but it's this will may other women of emotion that comes over you. They just fusion offer so much joy in film since you said that it's undescribable. I'm GonNa make you describe it. Describe it in a sentence the most magical at times scary thing that you'll ever back on in your life I can tell you was words their second question both the question but Sir when you were raising me some people that I had a bad habit of drawing things thanks utensils around the at a restaurant this I remember not just utensils is what was it like in a situation where I while drama forget. Somebody's lap well. We had to be always prepared with little men and we still are thank God you grew out of that habit but yes we talk about it often you. I had this habit that as soon as we'd sit down in a cafe restaurant where you go at cafes restaurants a lot being in the industry but as soon as we'd sit down at a cafe restaurant if we didn't clear the table able within ten fifteen seconds your eyes would focus in on a salt and pepper shakers or a fork or a Napkin. Whatever was on the table and as soon as I was looking you'd pick it up and throw it and the most hilarious one that you've heard me tell people is when you grabbed a piece of toast of my plight and when I wasn't looking and you threw it across the room and landed on the man's face and lucky he saw the funny side to that and it's still smile to my face watching this piece of toast fly across the room and then someone's face but you you tell you what you had a magic on when you know you can throw ball really well the bucks really well and you can do anything with your hands pretty well because from a young age you could help things across the room like no notable? How did all of these conditions with children affect your single life life like doing your own thing okay? Well of course I'm not single married. You'll beautiful but Doing my own thing. I get that this. Well there's three areas of your life as always talk about adding unite because you do your goal sitting around that personal professional and family and so on a personal level of course when you have children your focus is on on children because it's one of the most the biggest responsibilities you'll ever have is to look after guide. Careful night you know provide the nature and nurture your the children and of course at the same time we've always had businesses as you know so you know business whilst it's different when you have people that work for you. They like children as well so you you need to provide them look after them. However so on a personal level I went on this journey and I've dead put on a lot of white because I didn't have time to focus on myself? I self as much as I should have said. My health was suffering. Because something always happens that you don't look after all the time so I went from being healthy to to putting on a lot of white which meant that it affected me affected my mood. It affected me being able to play with you as often as I wanted to and all the rest of it so they did have an effect to end dumped that I'll tell you something well some people would say it's negative wasn't negative because I learned to look from that. I learned a lot that I needed to be my best to give you guys to be the best so I had to lead by example. I had to make sure that I was in good health so that I can actually be there for you and mom. And that's why obviously over the last three years to us he's specially dad's been getting healthy and fit and he's back to being the fittest and healthiest thing. Because I want to be the best example for you on occurs you grow up and I also want to be there to have fun and as you know we play soccer together. We walk on the beach together. We box together with us. Lots of stuff. So it's important for me to be in the abyss shake possible so I can be this an auditor as well I K- diet mind the background noise. You can hear them just throwing that out there and all down also. Did mom have a personality change nine not at all your mom. You're very lucky to have another that. You do. Who's always growing and learning and evolving? She's a very special woman. She's very patient is very loving. She's very kind And she's always done an amazing job with you guys because she talks to you guys and she's always there for you as you know. I'm to discuss anything that you want to discuss with. A mom is always learning and growing and she inspires me to learn and grow And learn more about myself as you know your mom is a mindset coach and helps others with them mindset and being more focused than she practices what she preaches. So She's always working on herself working on being better tomorrow than what she's Today. which is an amazing quality castle while you casserole so when when mom was pregnant Roy Moore Castle with her? I'm always careful with Mahmud. My Dad your granddad. Boys taught me to make sure that you look after women special especially your wife look after her and make sure you protect to look after her that day for her so I always do but of course when she was pregnant she needs extra special texture and care she you know she needs somebody somebody to make sure to be there to love her because it's scary for her to issues carrying another human inside of I don't know what that feels like they'll be because main kind of babies babies but that is just that would be just mind boggling from an experience and big responsibility so of course while she was pregnant you give that extra care and attention to To be there for her and help her okay so now this is. Would you rather question. Would you rather loving family all get anything you'd want in line Easy one loving family because getting anything you want in life means nothing if you don't and have people to experience it with said if with a loving family is the most important part because if you can have anything in the world but you have anyone to share it with you. Don't have a loving family to shirt within it's useless. It's.

"This is scheduled to Bella and you're listening to flash we hear now let me start by saying that leadership is all about building fellowship you've the misconceptions of leadership so let me start by number one would have to leave that anyone can learn to become a leader it is not a fixed skill especially the key to getting people to follow is communication and if you think about birth to adulthood become we learn more tools to communicate therefore we should leadership is something that is teachable skill and I believe it is something that you born with some traits that you're born with a going to help you Away another misconception is that lead is a charismatic don't believe this intake charismatic in in new company is out there in winning people over some people have magnetic personalities believe leaders are authentic so it's Fintech self that they show you concert band or in an orchestra whilst that leader the conductor at the front might look the speed of which people which the music is being playing at to tell people to leaders that truly to leads by example it's you know if it's a leader of a cafes the person that goes to tell somebody to clean up the type of person actually goes getting so that they're freeing up time to be able to other things that are important within the organization mobilization where it's a completely vertical integration of sourcing coffee importing the the administration tasks so or One would think to me some of the best.

"You're listening to fill Dibella and this is flash costs by PAYDAY bay today I've got a special little guest has been on the show before and he's my number one little man it's my little son Ali Dibella his nine years old Ali welcome to the show allied always great to have my children on the show and I I like to do these splash costs with children to lend a little bit of different sought because as I say it's a lobster all about family personal and professional said today we're GONNA do a Flash Koster and family and I'm going to ask some questions and they'll just be random questions that are not script it'll rehearsed and let's see what comes out of the the mind of a nine year old plays if you've got children feel free to share this or his parents to learn from because my my kids are often my best teachers I've learned so much from my nine year old son Ali in a lot from my eleven year old daughter Anika said today we've got early on the show Anna Stop by asking him a question here in Queenstown on holidays and we know that all kids love holidays Ali number one question what's the best things about holidays the best things about holidays is probably just being free knowing that you don't have to have anything on your back and probably get Matt Yeah Well You love your ipad and explain what do you mean by on your back because obviously you go to a great school being Cherchi and it's pretty full on so when he explain a little bit further what you mean by not having anything on your back and being free how does it actually feel like example if you don't have any homework the holidays and you really have to feel the weight of it like you don't have to feel the weight of it as in knowing that it's Jewison that you have to do it it went off to noon and it's going to be painful so obviously homework can be quite pressure and all the rest of it so you understand oversee why you get homework right tell me why what do you think teaches give you guys maybe it's because we need to learn in the real world as well not just in a classroom great answer tell me Ali what's something that stands out you just finish term three at school what stands that from the time what was something that really standing your mind in terms of schooling something that I'm looking forward to it hasn't happened yet is probably school camp but even fun things at school stewart requires something like after practice packing at tens back in in a sleeping bag into a bag like done just shove it in there so you learnt that this term they've been teaching you and ready for campus era yes tell me what was the hottest thing term that you did at school probably going from grade three to four because it's kind of a big leap going from the Loa of school to the more higher grades prep school you find that the workloads increasing and there's a lot more workload in the works getting a little bit hotter yes so how do you cope with this extrovert I guess Chai to worry about it just think about a positive ending positive ending what his mum talk about in terms of your mindset gene positive and never being negative because I can be negative negative what do you think you're negative sometimes maybe because I'm being a bit hard on myself and where do you think that comes from that probably comes from my experience from school about how ed one tiny little saw can come to negatively so what do you do when you feeling those negative thoughts what are you as a nine year old boy what do you do Kumba those sorts maybe just think of a again and positive ending to use the power of positive mindset to lead you in the Direction yes tell me at sort of school what are you doing what's your favorite sport and I love spending time with my family and that's Soka face what do you love about Soka maybe because many people who support football just think it's can pretending we heard but it's not like that it it's what you desire you might not like soccer that's right you can try this thoughts it's not forcing you to do things but what do you like about soccer I like about Soka how you get chance you get chances is that you that you train you can get better you can get really pedal and someday be is good is Cristiano Renaldo something that is is that what you aspire to be what do you want to do in terms of soccer we talk about being the best you can be what do you want to do with yourself maybe take it into the pro leagues I'm not so sure about Latte as facing reality but maybe well what you dream and where a win goes energy funds is what we talk about right yes now tell me about family we know that you love spending time with family yours very cuddly and always wanting to come to have great conversations and I have to say you one of the best conversationalist I've ever come across and I'm proud that you my little boy but tell me what he loves so much about spending with family maybe because today we did the escape room and that was family bonding so that's probably what it is family hang builder building a stronger relationship and when we're building a family strengthen family relationships how do you feel how does it make you feel I feel together not learn the opposite of one I you can say and what else tummy what what comes to mind so you know those feeling better today when we did the escape room which was fantastic something different at a company sign we did it as a family you know what came to mind what now reflecting today what what what are thoughts that come to your mind about it what did you love about it or what did you find hide anything what comes to mind about it got my dad and my sister and my family a great detectives because daddy gets things done he's he is time management on ACC is really good at solving things mom is really good at thing it together so everyone is not doesn't explode and I'm the person who carries things that's pretty cool but I have to I am very proud of you that's a very good analogy You know I let great things today are letting how important it is that we all communicate effectively That we made sure that everyone comes along for the journey and the ride and Geez we had an amazing time in the skype broom if anyone that has never tried it can I say get your families and go and try these room there's places all around Australia we did it here in Queenstown New Zealand we had an absolute bowl but Ali told me what's it like to be nine year old boy probably starting to Ni- nine and ten year olds can get a little bit down as in because a grade three to four is it's dots Jihad but when you free it feels like heaven like aw you can can do anything you can fly you can lift causes with your pinky anything and free meaning when you're on as you feel free yes so you know but without holidays you don't get the hardware without the hard work you don't get holidays right yes and what is Dead Essay the best you can be now listen my friend the world's GonNa throw really difficult things that you at times and we talk about the our what's the I would resilience and what is resilience main to you probably perseverance pushing eh trying your best and getting it done and what about when you four down what do you make sure you do get back up again that's me friend it's always about getting back up because you know what life's going to throw some crazy things at you like it has for me has up and being the best you can be might I'm going to hand over to you feel final words Tony wants something you'd like to share with the listeners navy if your parents pay it's you're always on your final something pay more attention to your kids because they might be struggling with something you don't know about maybe trying in family wanted is a good idea because kids you can know you'll parents can help you it's not it's not fully independent you've got to do some things independent but what you're struggling with parents feared that said job USO was new year's and blue. That's why I say that my kids have been my best teachers until next time you've been listening to fill Dibella and Ali Dibella and as I say be conveyed.

"You're listening to develop. His clash caused by payday now. Today's topic is one. Obviously I sleep very close to my aunt and something that a lot of people have been wondering about nonstop about my weight loss Kenny here I. I'm actually going to do a flash on by. What's what flight-loads journey along with this pledge cuss when I'm also going to do is I will post. The diary are kept from day one. When I started my journey I always said I'd keep a Health Journal Diwan until I got under ninety five kilos from so I will post that along but starting date of Monday six in the twenty contain over one hundred sixty seven point four kilos and let me stop by signed. It was hard to see myself that way. I was very disappointed in how I look and how I felt and I was was actually ashamed of myself the Monday six seven twenty seventeen at one hundred sixty seven point four kilos. That was the start of the journey. What led up to that Jenny. He was obviously the exit of develop coffee were officially exited that he June twenty-seventh saying and I spent some time reflecting and building out my vision plan what I wanted to achieve professionally and family in personally. It was all about lots of those about white. I needed to get healthy after visiting my doctor a hint telling me that I wouldn't be around participate my children. I have children. I Miss I got something in order was something that really worked me out but of course like anything when you building a business when you've got family you got kids is a hundred things coming at you. They're not excuses. If Opera makes pieces they just popsicles at take off your tongue and what I said is searching for this wedlock. Felons doesn't exist have done a question before work life. Balance is the biggest crooked shit wherever here it's something which is not achievable what we're looking for not consult from experiences work life how many now what's best when it's in hominy and to get in how many what I needed to do was Anita. Shit white and I needed to chip quickly so this flesh doctors promises about how did I do. It and I'm GonNa Start with the why Simon cynics. Why how why what did I do it is because I wanted to say much? Children have children. My wife was simply to spend more time on this earth to appreciate great moments. Something I poke about Locke's measurements. Semi why around my journey to lose white whites did I lose white was because I wanted to name to say an joy and collect and have as many members in my lot as I am especially around my family and my children. That was my wife. So how did I do it. Well we had been DEPRI-. The how was is now. I was never a big leader which would shock a lot of people when seismic. I didn't put on white because I a lot I put on white because I wrong breakfast lunch and then I'd have dinner and of course traveling a lot you drinking alcohol more more alcoholic drink. I conscious I was but I always try and exercise and that's why quite fitting losing weight. I look mostly in orbit. WHO said I was trying. I had a boxing match. One hundred fifty seven kilos. I had Iranian lasted three rounds two minutes around Lance things that ripped people with APPs couldn't do one hundred sixty seven because I was quite fit for. I felt like one could to specify that anyone with done and then say that a lot but it is what it sees fit for somebody who was my size. I was quite strong and I was mentally tough off and I would need that mental toughness to go on this journey to my wife spend more memorable with my kids how they do it. well as I said I broke down what it was that my that was making the put on white and I had to be collected data analysis of strategy the data state. It's not that you're eating totally. If you're eating at the wrong times the wrong Manson while the rest of it the analysis of that data led me to the strategy and and I did my research and our fan talking to love is being inspired by some that I had the gastric band surgery. That's why he loves the way that's not what how while the white because the people that have had that surgery that have put on fifteen that surgery that she burst stitches and had many couple Keisha what I did was I use the resources available to me to generate a situation that would suit me are used the resources around me and support and the eye to do what I needed to do so by having the gastric band surgery at dickey's it made my stomach small from a seven hundred and fifty mil stomach it went advantage on the two hundred mils and let me tell you that having that surgery one of the hottest thing you'll ever because it takes discipline two weeks before no food to reach out the careful what you ate make sure you don't bust your speeches and for the next three to six months. You have to retrain yourself on how to drink or food. It is such a process that takes mental mental toughness that it's not funny. I'd lost weight before and Luigi Wipe the traditional. I was actually easier. Leasing why traditional life was much easier than having the cedric but it meant the kept putting light on it meant that I kept putting the white back on because it was to me a destination on a journey so so when I analyze the data that was eating too much at night enough during the day so not eating small meals often daughter and said once I've got to the destination I would always put the right back on once I got that data analyze it. I did my research and I said the glass the gastric band surgery would limit the size my stomach it would force me to eat small and more often and what it would also main is that I had to fill that small spice. It could nutrients so that I made sure that all the idiots my nobody needed to tell you that three months later actually find it because I wasn't getting enough fluid. I used to always drink three liters of water a dice and but I used to drink a lot of anyone goes and are not one that I drink five hundred minutes at a time I couldn't do that with the surgery and the re-train right so how I went about it is just I went and ahead forget St Vincent you but that doesn't mean the mystery considering. He's going to work for everybody. I worked for me because I needed to eat small meals. Often during a die very conscious of a year and a half later is that I stop went on full. I do not keep eating. I will do not want to stretch my stomach. The Psyche Mo- food because a lot of people in this country fencer dream actually put lights on for those of you that are ethics. I know you lost the white because the surgery gonNA show you that the surgery is not not the reason you lose. The white for surgery is a resource that helps you lose the way but if you go with the wrong mindset you put the white back on so the biggest change from coming the biggest thing. I've done is that I used the resources around these step. One was GONNA Jetta. which was the wife identify? The problem SIP to is. I went and had the surgery edgy. 'cause it was the best tool that I needed to fix the problem. Step three. I'd change my mindset. I had to kind of my mindset and if you don't change your mindset regardless of what resource you end up using you will put right back on on people that have had gastric slaves on the people that have had left feigns people that have gone on Atkins ends diet the soup diet that Lennon whatever diet the sugar free and it still hasn't worked there only temporary fixes because the common even denominator over something. That's going to work mindset and you know what fan it's no different than business losing white amendment. I messed up my white loves journey the same way I could business and what I mean by this the kilograms that I lost and I told you that I will post on the facebook page my diary wake by wake and my thoughts. We'll do that in accordance with this when we released his flesh the week by week the white loss was only a byproduct of getting things rocking lifestyle and that was no different to what I say. Money is a byproduct of getting things right in business so the two are so directly correlated. It's funny not the principles don't change tab a strong vision be passionate and resumed into what you want to achieve and think about your brains and it doesn't matter whether it's white lost whether it's building a company working for a company it does not matter whether it's enough being a father a mother a brother a son if does not matter it all starts with the vision. It's all about being passionate and resilience and it's all about what brand do you want to try. What are people going to say about you or your company. When you leave the room and of course it all comes together emotion intelligence so my wife likes journey has been vice to Iran are dentists that I had a problem and Wyan fix it was in around finding the right resources. Listen to fix the problem permanently. It was all about changing the mindset and then what have I done now. Is that obviously trained hard. I A research researching educate myself on good food and I'm very very conscious of stopping eating or drinking when both said I'm not stretching my stomach because again again. I'm trading this as a journey now not a destination now. I wanted to share that here on a lot of people suffer with the white audience for many many years and are hype that this Spike Scott has inspired some people to take action. I wanted to share it for that. Reason faced by scots another about the event years and so next time bay the district conveyed listen to the Bella and this is flash CAST BY PAINTING BAY remember to have a look at the Dari that I'll post way accounts of my weight loss journey going back to the best you can be whatever it is just takes that step that you want to achieve just go do it..

My money goes was all about having enough money to do what i want and i was able to achieve especially when i exited the business i was able to achieve it before the business that i work because i want to keep myself stimulated on forty four. I want to keep active on brian going so pot one of my professional on consulted part of doing business and start ups you know <hes> let's say two of them had not gone well at all and dumb. <hes> four of them are doing really well so i've made some mistakes. I've learned to love what about investing in startups doping control. Don't be part of a business that you can't influence. If you can't be part of an inference dunphy dump be involved in it <hes> i wish invested in some startups food businesses a couple of gone really well and one's gone really poorly again when you're not in control you can't influenced sti- out of the investments that's what i've loved and that'll be a separate <hes> flash kostov time when i went to invest not to invest in all the rest of but oh i've been investing in the second part of what a professional investing in some new businesses stops three. I've got my own interest <hes> and that that is owning businesses as i said c._b. Which is copied by the bella which a retail stores are twenty five retail sales in mumbai india. I've got ninety signing interest rates in the beller tyler. I've got ownership rights apartment in new york which is executive l. coffee and that's going right south. I an international company travelers which is a copy green coffee roll trading coffee business that dumb supplies roasters all around australia with grain vein and we do a little bit different by helping them mentoring them and guiding them and sharing knowledge that we have what happened with the business and finally we have a property portfolio which my watch looks outta but we've got a property fully which obviously generate some great income for us in the rest of it so but as you'd have been asking what scrapped developing going since selling the business of funding on a flash cost on it breaking it up into personal family professional help detect and golden nuggets editor. 's as things they're all about you not about me. It's all about planning mapping but it always comes back to what we call entrepreneur intelligence vision passion frayne and sticking together with emotional intelligence so you've been listening to develop and this is flash caused by payday may be the best you can be..

"You're listening to fill the BELLER and this is flash cast by P._D.. Today's aside. I'm going to address some questions that have come in from listening so <hes> see how many we can get through in under ten minutes and keeping in the spirit of flesh cost <hes> the first one is I'm starting a service based business but if no experience at all on sales had our foster become better at the south quick out <hes> let me introduce the concept of scientists as business development to me sales transaction by Steph. I am not a fan of it then in addition. It's only about pushing products out for services outside transaction. You tell a story somebody he picks it up then make the transaction that's made the sale business development on the other hand is more of a pool theory. It's how can I solve a problem for you to me. Business Development is a transaction is a transaction but it's a relationship based <hes> situation and it takes often takes a longer process however what say it becomes more sticky socil- this as business development so the answer that means you want to get stuff is that you need to be in the middle of <hes> selling people's problems. <hes> done flash costs on this before where we talk about thousands transaction. <hes> business development is about solving in problems. <hes> you know salvage transaction business development is relationship so the short answer. Is You need to be in service to people you need to be able to build relationships and the way to do that is actually putting yourself in a position where you can solve a customer's problems and this will generate the CYA will become a by product of that relationship based mentality. The second question is one of the biggest challenges to starting a business well. What are we start? The biggest challenge to starting a business is the people that actually I understand what the worst possible scenario is so number one is to make sure that you understand what your worst possible scenario is. I don't believe in the Ohl win mentality that believe in putting everything have on the table and on the line. You need to be comfortable with the worst possible The one that I say is that people actually go into business blindsided. They think that it's going to automatically succeed or that. It's okay to put it on top of it is not saw the concept of entrepreneurs thing recycling is actually a fallacy. You'll find the most successful entrepreneurs in the world. I actually calculated risk takings meaning that comfortable with the worst possible scenario the next biggest challenge is obviously getting the right people that see your vision so once they start the business and doing quite <hes> well. I'm the biggest challenge is always going to be around people. <hes> you know when you on boarding people hiring people trying to fund able and the biggest challenge fun there is that obviously obviously everybody comes with their own experience different comes with their own lens but trying to get them to see the world tree arrives to understand why your business has done the D._n._A.. Of Your Business <hes> it's only the biggest challenge had to pass on the D._N._A.. Of My business people that are joining new <hes> you know and the third big one biggest challenge I find is that we simply on both their customers that <hes> keeping in the spirit of people by each we externally put on their own customers and and sometimes we need to because we need the business but we know that the customer is going to be a pain in the bath but on only size what's eighty today. We'll be difficult tomorrow and what's difficult today when only become he's used to just keep that thought in check number three question it had to get through the frustration of the bane constantly rejected by customers and this is a great question Asian because it's all about mindset to me every rejection every no I got was an opportunity to collect data so the point I want you to take from here is every <unk> time. Somebody's sitting on ask why keep a log of the wash once a month once a week whatever's appropriate sit down and analyze the data collected D- when somebody rejects you and somebody says no keep a log of why they doing such because once you analyze it you can then build strategy to attract new business a lot of people when they get rejected or say no they take it personally they get emotional about it Opportunity to gather the data that you named to that you can analyze this data and then build a strategy that will take your business for it so well. I am you know nobody likes being told to when I got to know. This is my opportunity to build a better business and I did this no but when everyone kept saying why would I buy coffee from somebody in Queensland. Now the knows where what defines the what went on to be strays number one copy business being developed coffee. The nose is what the business delivery timing acid. No I asked why and I said well if I'm just buying coffee combat likely and that was the point two five that I said I had to turn the product business the service business and it's actually Ashley we'll put the coffee on the map so it was through the nose or the rejections of Melbourne and the people down there that I was actually able to go on to build Australia's most successful coffee business in the independent coffee market question number four had to come up with a great product or service or the best product says the cellphones too simple. If your product services solving a problem it is different to anybody else and I often say nobody wants imitation. What the real deal the best way to be the real deal is to solve a problem mm sit down objective and get a people a group of people around the table and so does my product or service genuinely solve a problem? Is it unique now. Unique doesn't mean it has to be new new or innovative innovation doesn't mean it has to be something new to market innovation can be different. It's it's a better way to do something or whether that better way. He's more convenient more value. <hes> you know more attractive and mushroom guys whatever that bedtime is. It's all about solving a problem question. Number five had a measured. If my product or service is good well the alternator if you'll productivity is good when people <hes> in those so so accelerated growth not turn marketing strategies and and trying to push products into people's hand in accelerated its business when people we're good enough and tell others about us as you do something wrong. They will kill ten people. You do something right that much one way that I always measured it but products services. It was good was when I was getting third party endorsements when I was when the phone started ringing the bell coffee saying we are opening a cafe. We want to usual product. That's when I knew that product service was good because people out there recommending and it's quite a simple Baranova barometer. That's focused on you know when you're product services good when when people are coming to you asking for you to supply them question number six is how do I know when it's time to stop trying to quit my business. I move on well Yep. It'll be the last question I take a different to how I started. Get comfortable with your worst possible scenario. At the moment you get to that level of where you've you've reached your worst possible scenario and you need to ship more out of your comfort zone and you know prepared to do so. That's when you quit and move on so the answer the question number six is the same into the question number one. How do I know when it's time to stop trying and quit my business move on when you've reached that level of what's possible scenario and you can't go any further that without stretching yourself out of a sun that you know comfortable with if you call something upright within a zone that you're comfortable with then you'll always be on the wrong side the moment you have to step that mark is the moment you start treading dangerous territory so as I keep saying to people my research management plans plan was is and will always be get comfortable with the worst possible scenario that will help you whether you should invest whether you should not invest what should changed jobs no change to it will help you with multitudes of questions the question on the face of type right down all the West personal things that can happen and the moment you're comfortable with them all then move forward the moment. You're not comfortable with them. You need to keep assessing kick spinning. Rubik's cube now taking six questions. Keep them coming in and I bet you. They're all about accelerating your potential. They're all about me being able to reach a wider audience in mentoring and and having an influence by sharing my insides. Let's keep the questions. Come and keep the topics coming. I appreciate the fact and the owner that you'll give me as listeners to being able to do this. <hes> a thank you for listening. I hope you share with friends. You've been listening to fill the Bella and this is flash. Concert pay debates until next time they the best you can be..

"Hi, this is code Abella. You're listening to flash. Kaz by PDB today's question that resonates was posed by anonymous, and it was all about what makes a great CEO of. And it's something that obviously, a lot of people are spied to whether aspiring to be CEO with the, the they in that position right now while they're working for a c we'll have a look at it from different lenses and and identify behaviors. And, and something that really got me reflecting his water. Some behaviors that really defined a great CEA. And this is the four things that have come up with firstly decide with speed and conviction. They know how to make decisions said to me, a c doesn't progress tonight. It gathers the daughter does the analysis builds the strategy. It decides speed and conviction, but it also does this collaboratively and, and does it with communication so great CEOs decide speed and conviction by using data analysis and strategy, but they also ensure to collaborate and communicate number two to me, a great CEO's behavior, engages for impact, which means that always ensure that they have stakeholder buying at all levels said the Dan disdain exactly who the stakeholders are they met bad, who the stakeholders are. And then they really conscious of headache going to engage and generate impact said that they going to emotional engage with all stakeholders and the CEO that engages with all the stakeholders to me is the one that always leads the pack. Number three. They adept proactively. The very nimble, great CEOs to me can pivot very quickly, because they're planning three to five, six ahead and to me, the behavior of a great CEO is into the patient is, is to be able to plan ahead. And then that way that can adapt proactively that can be nimble because we never know what's coming at us. And as the person with the most responsibility and organization as you need to be able to carry that organization if it needs to pivot, you need to be able to get everybody on board to move quickly, and you're only going to do that. If you work in proactively and three to five steps to, hey, so number three's, depth proactively be nimble number four, great behavior to me is about reliability and reliability is also accountability. So delivering reliability needs to be trusted if people trust you, they're like you like you trust. You said the behavior the foot behavior to me of great CEO is they deliver reliability. They know that people rely on them and they. Make them themselves trusted by the peers by insuring that they reliable. Now that doesn't mean they always agree with people. But if they don't agree it only is very respectfully, so just summary, the bible that are about line to dyke for me. That make a great CEO is one the ability to side with speeding conviction and make decisions to, to engage for impact, which is all about steak on the body three adept, proactively and being imbo and proactive for deliver reliability. So need to be trusted to main? If you see great CEOs with these behaviors celebrate them if you aspire to be CEO, then we need to ensure your across these behaviors to me behaviors exemplify people. There are the Mike them or their break them. Calling people out on their behavior and debility have yourself on your behavior is a very, very important aspect of life. I was to grow and to be the best versions of ourselves. It's also basis for trust and authenticity in. Able to get from the people we trust from the people that we that we surrender SOS with some really good feedback to enable us to catapult to the next level. It is about being the best you can be having the right people around you, and it is about tomorrow being better than today and to next time you've been listening to the Bella. And this is flash cast by.
