Patriots may soon have to deal with their first Antonio Brown issue and it has to do with his number

"We have to talk about the biggest storyline in the NFL Antonio Brown as it looks like the saga for Antonio in some ways is finally ending and in other ways. It's just beginning for number eighty four as Antonio uh-huh Brown signs a one year proved deal with the New England patriots and it's hilarious because there is so much speculation when all his shenanigans with the Oakland Raiders for going on that really it was just a grand master plan for Bill Bella check to somehow land the all world talent wide receiver in sure enough he gets released from the raiders and later that day signs deal with the New England patriots another huge weapon in the offense four. Tom Brady and this has shades of what Randy Moss did did when he was with the Oakland Raiders. Moss spent some time in Oakland during his games he played for the raiders. You could just see that the big hall of fame wide receivers hardest wasn't in it. He wasn't really producing for the raiders he was now running routes with this full heart. You can just tell that he wasn't the Randy Moss when he was sooner in Oakland and then he goes to the Patriots under Bill Belichick and has a career year a record setting year with Tom. Brady Brady threw for fifty touchdown passes does that offense was just a cold plays away from being the first team to go perfect nineteen in Oh as they were trying to catch the seventy two dolphins they lose of of course the super bowl to the tremendous comeback led by Eli Manning and the New York giants. Is this going to be just like that. Are we gonNA see a patriots team. That could possibly go undefeated after Sunday night. That's a very real possibility that defense for the Patriots absolutely shut down the steelers and and if they know they're gonna get just a boatload of points on the offensive side of the ball you know Bill Belichick GonNa give all of his time and effort to making sure that that defense is ready eighty each and every week for their match. Make sure everyone's healthy ready to go that the scheme is right and we very well could see a run at history again in New England might right sound a bit presumptuous just in week one but the steelers are a classic. AFC favorite especially when they had the big three Bell Brown and Rothlisburger now with two of those three pieces Gone Smith Schuster looks to pick up the slack for Antonio Brown but now yet to find someone to pick up the slack for Juju at that wide receivers Chris to spot you also gotta be be frank here that James Connor is not living on bell. We saw that in that game Sunday night so the steelers were still a good test defensively civilly always are fantastic and brady made them just look like a peewee football team out there as he had no problem going for thirty three points in that game and pass over three hundred honored yards. You put a be in that mix with Josh Gordon Julian Edelman the running back tandem of James White as well as Sony Michelle is going to be a really tough challenge to beat this patriots team and because of that you who who's to say I mean they they could do it. They could do it you. You can't say they can't there. There is a real world possibility with the addition of Antonio Brown that the Patriots could make some history but now we gotta look back at how this came to be an Antonio oneal brown you could tell really from the Gecko once he got into camp once he started running some routes with Derek Carr in this raiders offense something clicked in his head that he did not want. I WANNA be in Oakland. I mean he did the cryotherapy happens and you chalk that up to operator malfunction with the frostbite on the feet then he goes on this insane escapade with the helmet trying to get all that taken care of in think in trying to use his old helmet. He's used forever he. He's had six months to do it and he doesn't think that's enough time to find a new helmet. I mean he's not looking for new kidney. He just needs a helmet you. There's ways to figure that out to make it fit and make it. It'd be comfortable everyone else in the NFL did it why couldn't he that becomes an issue. He's stays out of training camp. He doesn't do the walk throughs. The helmet issue did not mean he couldn't couldn't practice with the team he did that on his own accord and then he goes after the general manager of the raiders after he gets fine for actions he knows our final. He did them with that in mind. There wasn't like that fine just came out of the sky on him and Mike mayock gets verbally costed by Antonio Brown he goes on a barrage. I use of slayer of slurs cuss words to Mike May Auchan your raiders still still planned on playing him in there Monday night game against the broncos broncos that says a lot about the raiders as an organization that they were willing to take this abuse from Antonio Brown and take all this Prima Donna behavior behavior that was happening with Ab and still play him Monday night when he's barely practice with the team we talked earlier in the season here here on this show about how Antonio Brown by taking all this media attention has helped the raiders rookies developed because they haven't had to deal with it and that's still true in the lot of the raiders rookies have talked talked about in themselves and the second year players have said by having Antonio Brown. It's been nice that they haven't had to deal with the media coverage and hard knocks and that was really a lot more centered around Antonio Brown but he's also had a terrible example as an a way to conduct yourself as professional with what he's done with the raiders clearly didn't want to be there show the the reaction video when he finally gets released from the raiders and all of that finally goes down and I think the raiders are better off for it you if you're going to establish a new culture in Oakland. You can't have this going on in your locker room on your sideline. You need to get Antonio Brown out of out of there if he wants out all the better let him go you cut your losses just saved a lot of money by voting that twenty nine million that you would yet. You'RE GONNA pay him over the three years Antonio Brown you get your wish you go you get to play for the Patriots I think both sides can kind of wash their hands of the issue but now the rest of the NFL has to deal with the Patriots and Tom Brady having Tony Brown as viable and very real. You'll weapon for them

"It's another example of the NFL pushing its players around despite what the players are putting themselves through another one. The NCAA approved rule changes including moving. Back three point line to international distance delight the decision and how will moving back to three point line impact the game I wanna make it closer to the pro game. Which is a good thing. You know. There's too many games in college that are over coached, or the coaches just having the team waste time, passing it back and forth on the perimeter like you want the ball moving, but you don't want it, you want wouldn't moving for a purpose. You wanted to break down the defense. So many times there's just aimless passing on the perimeter in college. The shot clock is too long to three pointers short. The is clock. So I think moves it that you can make to alleviate that can only help. So I'm in favor of this. But one thing I really want is why aren't there just rules for basketball, right? Like, why is there a college court and college rules, and then international court and international rules FIBA and then NBA court, an NBA rules. There's no reason it shouldn't be uniform. There should be rules for basketball. This is where the three point line is this is what goaltending is. You know, this is how you can play defense, blah, blah, blah, blah. I am. I am a proponent for universal basketball rules and. And I would like to get there. Another one bell said this week that he bows to make people remember he's the NFL's best running back, which former Steeler, do you think has more to prove this upcoming season and Tonio Brown or bell bell, clearly, look Brown has to prove to people? He's not a malcontent and that he can fit into a winning dynamic, but he was still very good last year Bill has to prove he can still play. Right. I mean that's that's the difference there he was out for an entire season. There's going to be a lot of skepticism that he's ready to play. And unfortunately, for him, he plays the position, it's already met with scepticism nowadays, where just how important is there was rumors that his coach isn't happy that bells on the team because of the money. Bill makes it a position that he doesn't value so much. So I think all things considered. It's levian bell. Antonio Brown doesn't have to prove you can still play and Antonio Brown has to prove he can be part. Of winning environment. But by the way, he was in Pittsburgh. You know, I think in Pittsburgh, you had a triangle of personalities who just made things difficult bell Brown and Ben Rothlisberger who deserves that. I think it's much of the blame. Is anybody there? So it's those three guys. And there was a personality clash amongst the three of them now to the three are gone. And I think Brown, you know, needs to. End whatever the drama was this offseason. Well, let me on bell. Just has to get back on the field and show people, he still got another one, according to a report Todd Gurley won't.

"KTAR news. KTAR in-depth. This is one of those stories that just I don't know because I'm a father of girls hit me so hard earlier today. We were telling you a little bit about summer melody, bell Brown that ten year old Phoenix girl who was killed in her driveway. Police believe because of a road rage incident. The girl's father fell she loved, dancing and gymnastics was loved by your teachers and their students. She was an honor roll student or elementary school. And it looks like maybe just maybe there might be a break in this case. Joining us is John Genovese with our TV partners at ABC fifteen who has spent a good portion of the morning and the evening as a matter of fact, outside of a house in Maryvale where they they found a truck at least it looks like the truck we're looking for right. Yeah. Good morning, Jim some potentially major developments in the case at all really started around ten o'clock last night. That's when we saw officers out here near sixty third avenue Indian school inspecting this white pickup truck that was parked outside of a home ear and surely thereafter started putting up crime tape. Started acting like this is a much more serious situation. And by the time, we got out here that truck really closely resembles the image that was released yesterday by Phoenix police of the pick of that was involved in that Wednesday's shooting. I know police it said there was some damage on a back dive panel of that truck that they got that image from there was some surveillance video from a neighbor on Wednesday. We couldn't see that on this truck out here we were being kept back a little farther, but but the color looks right. The model looks right. And certainly the fact that officers have been out here. Now nine hours at this scene loan some credence to the fact that this may be a very serious situation. And we saw some officers going back and forth from you know, home where that Trump was sparked collecting evidence we saw people brought out from inside that home that were being interviewed by detectives, and they are still out here right now. A part of this neighborhood street is still closed up. Now, we haven't received any official word yet from police officials confirming whether or not they believe the truck that was out. Here is connected in this case. His idea was towed away a few hours ago. So we're still waiting to hear back on that. But again, this is still an active scene. Instill a large presence out here at this point. All right. Thank you very much. John Genovese from our TV partners at ABC fifteen. He is been at this house where a truck that looks an awful lot. Like that one that he mentioned was in surveillance video of the Phoenix police released yesterday was spotted there towed away and the police have talked to several people brought them in and out of that house of so we'll we'll continue to follow developments. You gotta forget about the hot girl that you're no longer dating. And for Levy on bell. He wanted money his way and for how long he held out him for the year that he didn't play. And finally, they have all these roundtables at the NFL league meetings, and you have all the coaches speak. And when you had the coaches picture, I don't know what Jay Gruden was doing. He said the son was in his eyes. So he's waiting for the one-two-three cow, and he never heard the one-two-three count on the picture. So it made him look like he had a bad burrito. And he had some gas. And he was very uncomfortable in that picture. So, hey, Jay, it was a great look in the picture ever where they had the roundtable discussion. His brother John said something that I had to laugh at and I had to almost cry in tears about. So they asked Jon Gruden about trading Khalil Mack. And he said it was so tough on him. That he had to and he was so upset that he cried for three straight days. Does anyone believe Jon Gruden when he's sitting there at the league meetings? And he's saying a player that was a franchise player for the raiders someone they could have found the way at some level in the contract to find a way to make it work. Even though some people said it couldn't work you traded him. And was it a tough call yet was a tough call. But you're gonna tell me when.

Don't miss all of it. Weekdays at noon on WNYC. It's morning edition from NPR news. I'm Steve Inskeep. And I'm Rachel Martin. Good morning. President Donald Trump says the senior most intelligence officials in the country are quote naive. That's his word. In fact, he said on Twitter they are wrong and suggested that they should quote, go back to school. The president made those remarks about his own intelligence officials the morning after they testified about global threats on Capitol Hill. The group included director of national intelligence, Dan Coats, who said North Korea is unlikely to abandon its nuclear weapons program. It's leaders ultimately view nuclear weapons as critical to regime survival. Our assessment is bolstered by our observations of some activity that is inconsistent with full denuclearization. That is contrary to what President Trump has said about North Korea and the threat it poses in the past Trump posted to Twitter that the North Korea relationship is quote, the best it has ever been John cypher spent twenty eight years in the national clandestine service and joins us. In our studios this morning. Thanks for being here. John, thanks. My pleasure. We have gotten somewhat accustomed to the president lambasting members of his own team. But from your vantage point, what are the consequences when he so directly and publicly contradicts an insult his top intelligence officer. Well, there's certainly a problem if you insult your own leaders because they are responsible to their workforce, and they have to. I mean in the intelligence community is a bright line. You can't skew intelligence you have to provide to the power, and therefore they're doing their jobs, and the people that work for them expect them to do that. So that if if the president challenges them on that over and over it, it makes it harder for them to do their jobs. It also I imagine doesn't send a great message to our friends allies or otherwise globally when you see the president. So so publicly diverging from the facts on the ground or the president's is to be diverging also from. Republican congressman and many of the policies that are put out by his own administration and the intelligence that our leaders provide is often informed by our allies fighting their intelligence to us too. So they're doing their best job to to lay it out clearly for people if the president disagrees, that's certainly fine. There is a bright line between policy in intelligence and intelligence professionals understand that the the Intel if officials directly contradicted the president on North Korea. As we noted also about the threat from ISIS. President Trump has said that threat has been contained which is not the consensus of the intelligence community. Does that affect practically how the United States deals with the terrorism threat or will the Intel chiefs just work around him? Well, the Intel community will continue to do their job will continue to provide intelligence. That's what they do for many years if policymakers choose to do things different says fine intelligence, just but one input into the policy making process. However, when you attack the intelligence process it really puts pressure on those on those chiefs with their workforce. Do you get the sense that these leaders are feeling freer to counter the president's false claims about national security issues and threats I seem to remember, Dan Coats, and a previous hearing walking line more carefully than he did just the other day. I don't know if they're freer. I think they're they're doing their jobs. They really don't have much of a choice the culture in the community is is professionals mixed it provide intelligence to policymakers even if it's inconvenient. And so they don't have much of a choice if they don't do that they really are hurting themselves with their workforce's their legacy. Inside. So I think they're just doing what they have to do. How are the rank and file in these agencies dealing with us? Do they just block out the noise or does it start to chip away? At morale over time. It's got a chip away. And it makes you worry about your boss's bosses are being attacked. But frankly, these institutions are pretty resilient the people they like their jobs. They take it seriously. They will continue to provide intelligence unvarnished intelligence, but nonetheless, you know, the president is sending a signal around the world that that he has his own views of things and that he doesn't really is not comfortable taking advice is America less safe because the commander in chief disagrees with the director of the CIA. No, not necessarily. I mean, the the issue here is the president can think what he wants. But the adversaries get a say, right. The biggest problem really is not the disagreement here, but it's the president's unwillingness to explain his policy. He's attacking people, but he's not dealing with the substance here if he truly believes differently he should make it really clear why he believes the things he believes he just doesn't chooses not to do that for some reason John cipher for remember of the national clandestine service. "We talked about college football off the weekend. I gave him my thoughts on the playoff. We took. A look ahead to the championship game coming up. Then I had interviews. Also, Jason lockenfora and Pete Thamel other the big story this morning Antonio Brown, Andy. Pittsburgh steelers. Meantime, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN tweets one of the most significant moments of the press conference when asked if there is a point where Antonio Brown's antics could outweighs production, Mike Tomlin said bluntly, quote, certainly certainly so that would answer the question posed Mike Tomlin is worth all this is Antonio Brown who is one of the best not only they've ever had at that position. One of the best ever do it and still performing at a very very high level is he? Worth all of this. We are talking about a player who missed a week seventeen game a week seventeen game that a playoff implications critical game. Not because he was injured as was initially reported. But because he got into it with Ben Rothlisberger during a practice, and then just sat out practices after that. And then when he showed up at the game apparently ready to go. He was told he would not be plying. So now it goes on. Everybody's been waiting to see. All right. What is Mike Tomlin going to say Tomlin is having oppressor Tomlin is been pretty critical of Antonio Brown in that presser. In the meantime, Antonio takes to social media to do what he does Andy posts rather cryptic message, quote Santoni. Oh Brown now on social quote. My options may seem limited by people or circumstances. It is then that I remind myself, I am in command of my attitude. I am divinely blessed with free will I utilize that gift choosing to take charge of my life to express the creativity vitality and wholeness they're truly define me quote. So whereas AB going with that then I do control my own fate. My own destiny doesn't matter. What my cap number is. Oh, and then this being twenty nineteen Bleacher report NFL tweets ABC started following the forty Niners to re tweet from Instagram any of that. So now he's following the forty Niners. And posting cryptic messages. While Mike Tomlin is critical of him. At oppressor. So where does that leave them, right? The Steelers were one of those teams that ended last season with the thought of making a Ron at a Super Bowl this year. Now, what are year they've had? What are we double back? Remember, levian bell. Remember that whole thing that feels like that was fifteen years ago now, but it was actually all this NFL season. And somehow the fact that they missed the playoffs this year feels like the least of their worries because you have this Antonio Brown situation me quickly recap since this my first work day of the year. He missed week seventeen against the Bengals because of a knee injury, bad timing. Right given that the team was still battling for a playoff spot. Even worse. Even worse than missing that game. Because of a knee injury. Is the fact that it was not a knee injury. According to the Pittsburgh post gazette quote Antonio Brown did not play in the season ending game against the Bengals because he elected to sit out practice last week after a dispute with Ben Rothlisberger. Wait what he didn't play in the final game of the year because he elected to sit out practice after a dispute with his fame quarterback. But wait there's more according to the post gazette quote the disagreement occurred Wednesday morning during a routine walkthrough practice dip proceeds their regular afternoon. Practice on the south side. Brown was disgusted and through a football in rothlisburger direction. Several sources said the report goes on quote after that Brown did not practice the rest of the week. According to a source. It was Brown's decision. Not to practice with his teammates, and quote, so ABM Ben are going through a through something happens. Brown's disgusted fires of football at rothlisburger. And then just not practice the rest of the week. Pretty weird. Pretty weird ABC's done some pretty weird things. But that's next level weird. But it's still even the weirdest part the post gazette. It has more quote, he did not attend Saturday's walk through and skip the Saturday night meeting at the team hotel the latest in missed meetings by the all pro receiver. And then there's no more quote, according to several sources Brown showed up at Heinz field expecting to play against the Bengals that surprise several players, including one who called the situation, quote embarrassing, and quote, the worst I've ever seen that player said the entire situation and the way it was handled affected his desire to play in the game, and quote, so one if not the best receiver in the league gets into a thing with his quarterback at a walk-through throws a football. Adam is not practice. The rest of the week then shows up at the game expecting to play and things are so bad one of his teammates caused the situation embarrassing and the worst I've ever seen and that it actually affected his desire to play the game. Holy crap. That's an insane situation. Now, like, I've said you cannot count on anything in the NFL week-to-week. Nobody knows anything. I mean, it wasn't that long ago that the Steelers had the killer bees, it was not that long ago that three headed monster a Ben bell Brown, and they were killing everybody. Now bell sits out the season. Brown is chucking football's it Ben sitting out practices and being held out of a week seventeen game. And what the turmoil missing the playoffs isn't a disappointment. The fact that they managed to win nine games to me is a miracle. So the bottom line is what do you do if you're the Steelers? It's obviously not the first time. There has been some extra noise around Antonio Brown. In fact, there's been so much extra. I don't even have time to get into everything else that this guy's done. And that's only the stuff we know about don't get me wrong. If you listen to this show, you know. This has been a big AB house. I've got nothing but respect for a guy. It was a sixth round draft pick out of central Michigan. He was the one hundred and ninety fifth player taken in the draft in he has been grinding ever since he has made himself into one of the greatest receivers in NFL history. He's got an enormous personality who think about it, not just the TD's. But this guy he's got so much it. It's always interesting with this guy. Always interesting when he shows up a training camp the radio role appearances. It's cetera. Business is always booming with AB, but at the same time, there are other things other places where these would be major distractions missed meetings social media posts stories from former teammates about practices, but people put up with it. The Steelers put up with it. And why because even in a down year in a season where he missed the final game because of all this. He's still had more than one hundred receptions, nearly thirteen hundred yards and he still led the NFL in TD's. So knowing all that where do they go? Now. What are they do now because it's gone beyond mirror distractions gone beyond AB being ABC or doing AB things. Now, we're talking about a guy who literally took himself out of a game. They have playoff implications. And apparently fracturing at least part of the locker room in the process. So what do you do knee-jerk reaction? Is you trade this guy? You gotta move him. You can't bring him back. But when you get into the weeds on his contract and the salary cap implications of dealing him, it's ugly, and it's ugly for the Steelers. If they do deal him, not only will you not get value back for a future hall of Famer who everybody knows you have to move, but it's gonna kill you with the cap. So if you didn't play this guy in week seventeen because it was so toxic and trading him would be so costly what the hell. Do you do if you're the Steelers at this point? It seems to me your solution is simply hope hope you've got to hope this guy turns things around one because he's an amazing talent into because it's way too costly to move this guy, you have to hope that he and Ben can make it right? You have to hope that he and Tomlin can get on the same page. You have to hope that this guy doesn't pull a Levy on bell. You have to hope that this guy wants to come back make it right and own it. However, that's not the way it's going today. Is it not with Tomlin having his presser pink critical Antonio Brown? Posting on social at the exact same time. That's not how it feels. In the meantime, discontinues apparently now he's with James Harrison. And James Harrison apparently is going to interview Antonio on Instagram. They just announced it as I was talking on James, Harrison's, Instagram. Here we go here. I'm gonna get this closer state-owned. We listened to what we listened to right now. We to do this interview. This. So they're quote listening to what they're listening to right now. Probably Mike Tomlin presser probably all these subsequent noise around it. And now James Harrison jumping in to interview a on Instagram live..

They have playoff implications. And apparently fracturing at least part of the locker room in the process. So what do you do knee-jerk reaction? Is you trade this guy? You gotta move him. You can't bring him back. But when you get into the weeds on his contract and the salary cap implications of dealing him. It's ugly. And it's ugly for the Steelers. If they do deal him, not only not get value back for a future hall of Famer who everybody knows you have to move, but it's gonna kill you with the cap. So if you didn't play this guy in week seventeen because it was so toxic and trading him would be so costly. What the hell do you do if you're the Steelers at this point seems to me your solution is simply hope hope you've got to hope this guy turns things around one because he's amazing talent and to because it's way too costly to move this guy, you have to hope that he and Ben can make it right? You have to hope that he and Tomlin can get on the same page. You have to hope that this guy doesn't pull a Levy on bell. You have to hope that this guy wants to come back make it right and own it. However, that's not the way it's going today. Is it not with Tomlin having his presser being critical? Antonio brown. Posting on social at the exact same time. That's not how it feels. In the meantime, this continues apparently now he's with James Harrison. And James Harrison apparently is going to interview Antonio on Instagram. They just announced it as I was talking on James, Harrison's, Instagram. Saucer here. But go ahead. I'm gonna get this closer. When we listened to what we listened to right now until we gotta do this interview dropped this. So they're quote listening to what they're listening to right now. Probably Mike Tomlin's presser. Probably all these subsequent noise around it. And now James Harrison jumping in to interview. On Instagram.

"We'll Bali can do is not play him in which is what he didn't damn near lost. Because of the problem is that the best players for the Steelers are the ones that you cannot count on the most it was bell Brown and and Rothlisberger. And when you cannot count on those guys to make the right team decisions. You get what you have because ownership while hold on with those three there's the sense of its meal or we with those three more than anyone else on that. Team because all three of them make very selfish decisions intentionally or not. I mean big Ben's out there throwing other guys onto the bus love Belden show for his contract situation. AB obviously did what he did. But let's just stick to Brown for a second. What happens now with him moving forward? Can he survive on this team? Or if we've seen the last of Antonio Brown accused survived because she's so good because he's so dynamic and the Steelers have not had a history recently of jettisoning, really good talented guys unless they want too much money. They'll usually bring it back if it's just a character problem where distraction problem remember, though, this the Steelers have gone through a lot of talented wide receivers that were me over week is whether we're Antonio homes Plaxico Burress go down the list, they've always done away Ellis go Mike Wallace. They've always figured out a way to replace those guys. But boy in this case, I think he'd be a so good. And they seem to have such a long leash with him that he'll probably come back. It just feels like it's more of the same two minutes and be more. The thing the first time they can move them. They can't move. Right now. But soon as they can move them. They're going to move them. But with that being said that usually means that you're rebuilding because Ben Rothlisberger been hinting at retirement from the last couple of years. So I feel like they were really accepting this because they felt like they can have one more shot with looking in the AFC north and what they've been able to do with you'll the ravens Lamar Jackson with Baker Mayfield. I don't know if that window isn't almost close and we've seen the best years of Ben Rothlisberger in his Pittsburgh Steeler team consistently been playing this is for this Steelers season. It is a systemic failure starting with the GM and what happened with bell. Because even I want to extend him then rescind the tag and use that money. Elsewhere to Mike Tomlin for losing. Whatever leash. She had on the team finally letting go to Big Ben with those weekly radio spots that today he's gonna continue. And God only knows what he's going to say to lay on not showing up to an Tonio Brown. That's how team goes from seven to one out of the playoffs. Only the third. Team ever through ten games. Have a record that good. Not make the playoffs. The other two. You know, what happened to them their quarterback Scott hurt ninety five raiders ninety three dolphin suffered a season ending injury to their quarterback. That's why they missed the playoffs. The Steelers have no such excuse this dad every opportunity to make the postseason. They couldn't. And if there wasn't if between Tomlin rob burger, there wasn't three Super Bowls and five appearances, or whatever it they one of those guys probably would be gone, but because they built up that level of cachet with the team they won't be. But they can't just run this thing back next year. I'm surprised that they survive with this level dysfunction. The win this many games as they did that even you'll be at this point. I just don't understand where general manager in this. Where's the owner of this? Because if he missed two days of practice, I need ownership to come up we need to find him a break him in. And let them understand that we will take every dollar that we can out of your reach out to him. No you find him. You got the you got your NFL security, you can find examine your iphone? Wide receiver you show up. The only thing you only way you could hurt. Antonio Brown is about taking his money away from you know, conduct detrimental..

"Which is he might go down as the best offense. Put all of these guys this. This is no different than the NFL where we have you know, twelve thirteen four thousand yard passers. There's more plays college football. Why are they setting so many records? Well, they run more plays years one hundred plays in college football game for for teams that they're never had before more plays more passes. And oh, yeah. By the way. Now, we can't bowl games, and you know, as well as conference championship games more games. It's going to make stats on steroids. So to get back to harden, I think it's sustainable for the regular season. But the game is officiated differently and he has to play differently. And that's why I think it's doomed to fail. We were talking about this is that as a former college basketball player and somebody asked me today, they said was dug a good player. And I said when Doug left college basketball. I remember watching you. I said he was the number seven assist guy in the history of the sport. Doug was a great college basketball player and at the time, a great program, Oklahoma state, and I remember watching you in college, you were a tremendous you're really an old school point guard Daesh deal run the floor Rondo. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You defense you shoot those on. Yeah. Couldn't shoot. Acknowledged. I mean, I couldn't make it. I could see them. But it wouldn't go in go in go in. But but it's interesting about this. Because there is you know, when when you talk about the NFL the NFL's always been about the roster. The NBA is about the star in the player. It feels like the Steelers have become incredibly beholden to the star. Whereas Alabama tenure dynasty New England. Eighteen year dynasty are beholden to the system. This is the downside of the star. The upside is drama fund exciting fantasy points. The downside is their trapping Antonio Brown. They got trampled avian bell. Yeah. Pittsburgh's kind of taken the NBA model, which is we're going to build around about five guys who are absurd, but the last year bell Brown, they get an even Ben sometimes. Yes ram. They just let let let's undersell. The fact that Ben has all kinds of off the field issues in his past. Yes. And. On the field. He's not always easy. He couldn't get along with Todd Haley. And now he gets his voice offense a coordinator. And they never run the football anymore. You know, Pittsburgh's always run the football. Like, yes. I also think it's who Pittsburgh always used to be in terms of how they dealt with contracts. They always used to they tried to be like like a New England for years on the defensive side of the football. Antonio Brown is one of the first guys that they've ever paid at the top level at his position. Right..
