Breaking down trades of DeAndre Hopkins & Stefon Diggs + Free Agency News
"And now move the sticks with Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks. What's up everybody? Dj Bucky here with move the sticks. It is a crazy crazy frenzy. Time Right now. Obviously in the world on on the on the importance scale when football. It's been it's been a while right over the last couple days. Bach and we have a lot of things. We're going to cover today as a recording. This Tom Brady is it's been announced. He's not going to be coming back to the New England patriots so we are going to do the podcast right now. Not Knowing we're top rates go. We're going to get this out to you where we cover a lot of different topics and then once the Brady decision comes down. We're GONNA WE'RE GONNA produce another podcast just on where Brady goes what that means for his new team as well as winkle patriots where they go from there to be a brief podcast. But we'll do our best to get that out to you as soon as possible as well. But there's a lot to get to with what we already know around the League right now. The movie crazy stuff that transpired move in the league. I feel like it's just an ongoing Circus just like so many moves so many things happening guys going people using the trade vehicles to upgrade their teams and then finally getting word today of some guys on a trade block. Some guys that are assigned a free deals Has Been Bananas Last? Twenty four hours. Well let's start rolling through Some of these other move circus because we've got a bunch of stuff off to talk about here as we're talking. I mean deals. Just continue to come down one after another after another But why don't we jump in here? I bucket and talk about some of the quarterback stuff Just a little bit before. We started recording. Let's start with the CAM. Newton News That's going to be friendly ending there but it is definitely an ending yet. Dj I think ultimately like the team made a business decision to move on from Cam Newton. They have given him permission to seek out a trade This obviously means that when you look at the timing of it. They've been in. Negotiations obviously was some quarterback and they feel like they're close again the deal during which is why would then allow Cam Newton to shop services to other teams. I feel like this is something that we expected to happen when they say they can with come back. It was a bit of a surprise but now we come to know they were trying to protect themselves to make sure that they get the quarterback that they want before they move on from the long term starter. That really helped a franchise gives us problems. Yeah I mean. I'm just curious to see what his next move is I. I had a tough time coming up with teams buck that I think would be in on Cam Newton A saw a new one that was mentioned was the Washington redskins obviously familiar with Ron Rivera. with coach. Turner their offense coordinator. Who's got had a really good run to start twenty eighteen season so that I guess make some sense of the any of the teams. Stand out to you with him. I don't even know if that would really make sense because what you have. Is You gotta young starting quarterback into Wayne Haskins If you bring Cam in there if you any sense that Dwayne is going to be Your Guy. You only stunt his growth by having cam there and then and actually rally. What is Ron Rivera? Really think about Cam as a starting quarterback he is got Turner. They've embarked on this new mission in Washington. Do they see cam as being an upgrade or somewhere that they could come to build the franchise around as they're trying to change the culture there? When really survey the landscape easy? I don't see really good landing spot for Cam I know in the past. Chicago had been mentioned as a possible destination. But when you get outside of that without knowing his health status. I don't know how anyone could say that. A there's a starting job waiting for Cam Newton elsewhere because no one knows and I also don't know how many officer coordinators are take on their project to get back to playing at a pro bowl Yeah I mean I definitely think it's It's difficult to come up with the team. So we'll see what happens there with him as we're doing this in Buckeye man. I'm just kind of his scrolling through twitter reporting it looks like Teddy Bridgewater in the panthers are close on three year contracts. So that to me is is interesting fit. They're going to move on from Cam Newton and then tape bridgewater comes in there and I would not be shocked if they used their their first round. Pick number seven overall on a quarterback as well but to me. It's kind of a new start hearing and it looks like Teddy Bridgewater is going to be that guy so dj if you go back and you connect the dots There couple things impacted when you talk about the Panthers Teddy Bridgewater Obviously Joe. Brady's the new office coordinator Joe Brady spent time with the New Orleans saints as an offensive assistant basically and talking to people from the saints. They say that when you looked at. Lsu Offense Joe Brady was basically using a scaled down version of what the saints have done for years. Their base plays to really dominate. The college. Game Brady has been elevated to be an NFL office coordinator. WanNA REACH BACK TO NEW ORLEANS GIDDY. Bridgewater who knows not only the base level offense of what he can bring some of the new innovations in new variations. That they've Addison's job rated afford it to me. It makes sense the only thing that I worry about. If I'm teddy bridgewater is how long is my leash on the starting job because if they do. We're speculating a they're going to draft a quarterback in the first round. You know the clock starts as soon as they draft kit. So if I'm teddy bridgewater is this the most stable insecure situation that could be in. And can I get enough money to make me feel? Okay with what could happen in a year or two if they do decide to use me as a bridge quarterback in transition. I would think that the Patriots if the Patriots are in play would be a little better deal just in terms of the way that the team is being constructed in the way to Bill Belichick as treated quarterbacks previously but a when you got sixty million on the table depending on the amount of guarantees that are in there. I can't afford Teddy Bridgewater for taking a big deal. Yeah I think it's interesting and I I think it's also fascinating you're inside this division here with the saints kind of having to make their decision of what they wanted to do going forward and now you have teddy bridgewater playing for a division rival. So it's GonNa be fun to watch that all unfolds We could go through a bunch more quarterbacks stuff here drew brees. I don't think there's really much to say there. We expected that He's back with the saints I expect probably by the time you're listening to this. At the Philip rivers deal will be done with the with the Indianapolis Colts so that takes another one off the market but when we look at the wide receiver position. I mean I try and make sense of this. When you look at the trades for the Andre Hopkins and then you look at at the trade what happened with the buffalo bills acquiring Stefan digs trying to sort out the difference in compensation. There is mad. It's mind blowing a difference between the two they bring the Is is a difference but DJ. We've talked about this when we're building a team in organization. There's a reason why teams have general managers and head coaches and they're typically not the same person ideally want to think about building this like branches of the government. You want to have a checks and Balances System. Ultimately someone has the final. Say would you like in a front office? Have General Manager who can challenge the coach and vice versa. I've always fill hit coaches. Think about the here nail. What can we do for the team today? Maybe tomorrow the general manager is supposed to think about the long term viability of the franchise. How can we have a long sustained stain successful run Were we can compete for titles. And sometimes that might mean taking a step back or not making a move whereas hit coaches because a lot of hay coaches are little more emotional and reactive. They have a tendency to kind of get in their feelings. And sometimes that can be the driving force of the moves that they make a felt like in Houston. Whatever the situation was bill. O'brien and the Andre Hopkins. It was at a point where he felt the need to make a move and wanted to make the move right now where I think a general manager would play it out a little slower and try to really build up that market before. They made the move. Ah Buck I mean. It's it's interesting when you look at the compensation for the two players you look at at at Hopkins. What he was able to get in return. I think you ask anybody around. Lee's top five wide receiver But You J. D. Andrei Hopkins Anna Fourth Round. Pick you get David Johnson. In his big contract running back has not been saying who the cardinals were looking to get rid of. So you're going to take on that contract and you get a second round. Pick this year in a fourth round. Pick next year. So that's what you get for Hopkins and then you look at what the Vikings rail to do in their move they send defined eggs they get a one a five a six and in a twenty twenty one four from the day for for days they also include a seventh round pick with dicks but but to not getting one for Hopkins at least a back in wants something That was shocking to me. I mean it is shocking. But we've seen Lebron can do a handful of these deals and you understand. Dj like is. There's an experience and wisdom that comes with kind of thriving in the general manager role. And when you're a head coach in so many your obligations are getting the team. Ready to play in dillon with things that are related to onfield action. You don't have the ability to understand fully how to execute personnel moves how to weigh in play the TRAE game and all of those things and what you're seeing in in that aspect you saw inexperienced general manager take advantage of it inexperienced personnel man Steve. Tom Played played it out. He was able to dump a player that they really didn't have any use for an get. Becky big time player while without having to get up a top pick. I mean it is just a classic case of inexperienced guy taking advantage of someone who doesn't fully understand what they're doing and that's why I said yesterday when this all went down. This is exciting for Kylo. Murray not just because what you're GonNa get with the Andre Hopkins in this offense with Andrea Hopkins who Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald and also Kenyan Drake. They're gonNA keep who can really get involved in the past Games. Well out of the backfield but this freeze them up now they can take tackle with. The eighth overall. Pick they resigned. Dj Humphrey so the hope is you get this offensive line in good shape. You're going to be able to get more guys out into the route which is going to give him more options. Especially when you have somebody like Hopkins. It's GonNa demand attention so you're going to have more options out the route but buckets. It's going to spread the field in. Give him more room so when he wants to run. I think he ran for about five hundred yards last year. Submarine for over a thousand Oklahoma So I think this is going to give him more opportunities in the run game and as we've seen he's very good protecting himself once he gets into the open field. Look I made is is is one of those things where you're trying to build strength on strength and with Cliff Kingsbury offensive mine. A guy who showed that he could put together an NFL offense last year. Don't his first year as a head. Coach in the League calum. Murray you talked about Kenyan drake in his Gerald Christian Kirksey. Andre Hawkins. You now have an opportunity in this division where we can say the LA. Rams are coming back to the pack. We say the Seattle seahawks are always there but maybe the Arizona cardinals make some ground up on the Seattle seahawks and put themselves in a position. Where maybe they can't compete to be anonymous seven Tennessee team. If everything goes their way is just really interesting to see how that has been put together. Because if they get this offense rolling They could have one of the more explosive offenses not only division but in the NFC. What do you think about this from? The Vikings perspective was defined dates. And actually even more so the bills perspective of them making a run giving up a first round fit for Sunday's Likes to find the exact player I think he's a crafty route. Run One two best runners in the league. I can't understand why the Minnesota Vikings would want to move on from him. There were issues that you saw pop up on social media where he kinda voices his pleasure. He has a little bit of the wire. Receiver Personality Develop personality where a lot of high maintenance that you have to deal with navigate through and also. Let's be honest. Dj this draft is one where there are so many wide receivers. If you have a good feel for holiday evaluated pick receivers you can find a guy that can replace. Stefan digs production performance for the buffalo bills. This is a tricky one. I love upgrading. The wide receiver core. I think is important that they have the ability to get big plays in the passing game. I just wonder if Stefan digs is a good match for Josh Allen. We talked about building a basketball team and buffalo even building attracting. You got speedsters in the like but you have to make sure that your wide receivers can make up for Josh Allens deficiencies when it comes to his accuracy in his ball placement. I lost their findings. He's not a big receiver. So it just. I just want to get another big guy to do some of those things that they eventually need done when you have a quarterback Josh Allen at the hill. Yeah it's all point guards. Funded six footer coal. Beazley's not a big guy. John Brown not a big guy. So there's nobody really to play above the rim when you get down to the red zone specifically there as well so that to me was a little bit interesting but remember. I think people forget about remember. The buffalo bills had the trade for Antonio Brown before Antonio Brown pooh-poohed it So that was the type of player that they were looking to find. And I don't think Stefan digs is as talented as as Antonio Brown. But he's that type of receiver years until what they mean is remember. Brian Ball spent time with the New England patriots and a lot of the New England. Patriots stuff was catching run. Option routes get it out the quarterback's quickly and then let those playmakers have their way in the open field. We saw the buffalo bills. Colby's ahead a very solid season for the buffalo bills. And if you think about Rework in this offense where you won't Josh Allen to not only push the ball down the field off but they also have some of that quick screen quick `isolation route game some of that stuff to emptied out into formation out. Stefan digs in. Kobe would a headache to defend We just have to continue to see the development the maturation of quarterback to see if he can get his skill set to match the level of the playmakers that he has around him are. Let's get to what happened with the with the D. tackle situations specifically. What the forty niners they resign. Eric Armstead five years. Eighty five million dollar deal We thought okay. They're gonNA keep this whole group together. They're investing in that defensive line. And then the shocker came They ended up trading deforest Buckner to the Indianapolis Colts for the thirteenth overall. Pick in buckner sends a new deal there over at twenty one million a year buck which puts him just behind the We talk about highest defensive tackles in the NFL so forty niners a team. That needs some draft picks. We talked about the fact that they were actually in a trade out of the THIRTY FIRST FIT. Just to get some picks. Now they have thirty first pick as well as the thirteenth pick and I actually Kinda liked this. Trade for both teams about you. Know is interesting. Because you know Chris Ballard and the Indianapolis Colts like there is something to when we say in the acquisition business Knowing the proven player as opposed to guess behind West West behind door number. One door number two The one thing that the Indianapolis Colts no is tangible approved. A deforest. Buckner is a dominant player. We've seen him do it. We what system works for him. We have seen him play at a high level. International Football League Sometimes we become so a namen. Look you and I both come from. The Colorado is easy to become enamored with hoarding graphics. And being able to a let's make our picks and we're GONNA get them all right but we understand. The success rate is really really hard when it comes to lean on the draft and so I can appreciate Chris Ballot leaning into the trade market to get a blue chip players someone that he knows can dominate dominate for long time. But also can appreciate the San Francisco. Forty niners wanting to have more ammunition to up their team and this would not be discussed but I think is something does factor intuit I know force bug was a dominant player and for so long lash you we talked about the San Francisco Forty niners having Five number one picks on defensive line and I'm not saying that Solomon Thomas can go and do deforest. Buckner does are dead. They play the same position but I do believe that when they're looking at their roster and they're looking at how they've invested in their d. Line I do believe the Solomon Thomas Factor has to come in because somewhere in that room somebody feel like Solomon. Thomas was a high in blue-chip player. A just needs a chance. Maybe that is why they feel like they could move on from deforest buckner. Maybe find another replacement for him while maybe giving us Solomon Thomas One more opportunity to get on the field in some way shape before we talk so much about those five for round response. There's some good depth and some really good players behind that group too when you talk about. Dj Jones who's got some ability. It's really interesting player there and I'm looking at this draft in the wake out. Just if you look at the needs we're GONNA see a run on the offensive tackles early. We're GONNA see those quarterbacks go so is it crazy to think that in my opinion two of the seven or eight players in the draft our our Derrick Brown. Giovanni Ken Law. I don't think it's out of the possibility. One of those guys gets to them They're thirteen and now you're talking about be they'll replace somebody with a on a rookie deal five years with control and your defensive line knock escapee deaths Deal I think that's a good thing. Dj We talked about Part of building. The team is being able to have those conversations with your brain to fro in college departments together and you talk about the transit weaknesses of the free agent market in the draft and being able to accurately assess. Here's where the draft is strong. Here's where we're looking at. If we're at this pick what could be available and the name that I think about you. Talk About Brown. But I'm thinking John Kinloch could be sitting right there for them. We talked about a mock drafts at madrassa what they are. But we saw about Ken. Lobbying mocked to the Tampa Bay buccaneers. But we hadn't had scenarios where we saw him going before that when San Francisco for non you're sitting proposition to get a guy that can in essence do deforest buckner did and as you said do it on a cheap quick contract to be able to then take that money that you would spend on buckner and spread it around to other positions. Look I I think a smart thing is a smart play and I think is one of those situations where the San Francisco. Forty niners could have a couple of different positions that target. A IF KEN law isn't here let's turn our kids and again the big time wide receiver. You know There's just so many options for what forty niners need that are available. It makes sense to be able to have two bites at the apple in the first round are. Let's talk about a little bit what we've seen free agency in how it impacts the draft because it is it is something we're talking about here with the forty niners and what it does for them but I think it's it's fascinating when you look at the Miami Dolphins loading up. They go out and pay Byron Jones all that money they go out and get kyle. Van Noy They've been very very aggressive. Shack Lawson They brought in him So they've addressed a lot of spots of air flowers on the offensive line. This is not a team that's pointing towards tank for Trevor. In in twenty twenty one. This is a team. That's trying to win right now. Which to me. Points to the fact of any talk of them kicking the quarterback thing down the road is is this team. That's going to take a quarterback And makes a lot of sense with the fifth. Pick to do that and we've talked about it buck We you know. I did not rule out the fact that I'm taking her over to a and when you look at all the pieces in place to go try and be competitive right now. Maybe it's a situation where they say. Herbert we can plug them into the lineup. And let's get going right now Chris to you might be looking at a red shirt. I'm not saying that's what I would do. I know it's not what you do as well but that would not shock me now. I think it gives them options. It gives them options at the quarterback position to do what they WANNA do and do at how they want to do it. Whether it's two or Justin Herbert I think we need to understand it. Ryan Fitzpatrick played well enough for them to be. Very Competitive Ryan. Fitzpatrick also has a relationship with Chan Gailey and dependent upon how Chan Gailey Views Ryan Fitzpatrick as he ages gracefully position. Maybe it does give them a year or two to groom a quarterback to be the starter. But I absolutely like what the Miami Dolphins doing and actually I was. GonNa Pitch this out to you because we've talked about the old model of team building and how everything is about the past game and so we were ranking prioritize positions as a quarterback pass rusher left. Tackle cornerback the Miami. Dolphins went out and got barring Jones. Made him the highest paid cornerback. In football a year ago either year ago two years ago they signed Xavien Howard to a big time extent they have to high price corners on the edges doesn't appear that they have like a marquee pass rusher but we've seen the New England patriots in the past. The pages put their energies and efforts in coverage not pass rush. They believe they can cover you up there rush for and they will win that way. I just say Brian Floors is following the model that learned in New England and putting his resources on the perimeter. So they can play man-to-man cover everybody up and make life very difficult for the quarterback to find open windows to hit wide receivers. Yeah I think it also again points to the draft. You talk about the New England Belief System. And how you do that. Well what about the Detroit? Lions who where they're gonNA be picking even if they were to trade back a little bit from the third pick You know they're going to be looking at defensive tackles like a Derrick Brown or king law or is it a linebacker like Isaiah Simmons or more you just go get the top corner. Jeffrey Khuda intimate. That is another reason to kind of to marry a Okuda with lions. Yes absolutely absolutely. Amnesty is really a a smart play? The lies typically traditionally haven't operated like that but when you think about Matt Patricia and Brian flurries and in New England model. And then you go and you look at the next Gen stats and the PF stats and those teams play. Man-to-man more than any other team in a national football league with. You're going to play this style. You have to have a stable of quarterbacks that are young athletic incapable of just running all over the deel. Jeffrey Khuda certainly can do that. I'm Detroit Lions. I'm definitely thinking that way. Unless as Simmons is stare me right in the face and I can come up with a creative plan to unleash him on the second level of the defense. Now I mean there's I mean but there's things we can go through can't go through each and every move but how. How about one more here? Go Rob Quinn sign with bears to team up with Khalil. Mack Robert Quinn. Fly Very well last year and we start to see him in a good fit for how he likes to play with the Dallas cowboys. You start to see that ability. That made him such a high pick really come out. Yeah I mean look. We saw Robin Win. Definitely game on and we saw him began to kind of flirt in. This is kind of a a rebirth a renaissance because he show people that he definitely could still play and I think sometimes with injuries and the light we lose sight of this was a guy that played at a high level with the rams he and Chris Long were able to dominate in disrupt and create havoc kind of lost his way. A little bit in Miami brought it back a little bit in Dallas. We saw him pop and have a double digit sack season And so that was terrific. I think the bigger thing is what is the lesson to be learned because the next move was to see the Chicago Bears Release Leonard. Floyd and what I think was interesting with Leonard Floyd. When he was coming out it was kind of a deal where we have a tendency to fall in love with the athletic traits. Right we see the size receive speed and we our say ignore the production. But we don't necessarily give the production in terms of the sack reduction what it should be factored into the equation when. We're speculating about a guy. Being a double digit sack artists his last year Georgia he only had four and a half sacks he has six stacks the years before in a six and a half the previous years. So what you're talking about is about seventeen sex in his career and sometimes we think guys just pop at the next level because they're big fast athletic and I don't know if he was necessarily skilled and so I think when we're evaluating the pass rusher the edge rusher position. We need to make sure that the guys are skilled in. They have some semblance of a resume. That says these guys are GONNA be able to consistently sacked the quarterback especially when we're picking him in the top Tier no-doubt last thing. Here with the raiders signing Cord Littleton. They've They signed a couple linebackers. Here which again I want to bring this back to the draft. They still have a glaring need with receiver. And I think it's a good job there with mayock. Gruden of realizing the strength of this draft. You're picking twelve in nineteen shore of the linebacker position For yourself up a little bit where You can go ahead and take a phenomenal wide receiver with one of those two picks. The I mean I think they're terrific nothing also coupled that with the Marcus Mariota funny because in my mind I would say. If I'm the Oakland Raiders. Matry Marcus Mariota. As if it's a draft because you're talking about a guy that was taken second overall. We already know that it might may act like them. We Li- We noted. Jon Gruden liked him when he was coming out and if they believe that they can fix Marcus Mariota and get him unleash. It didn't take them out of that. Quarterback market that has been lightly speculated. It may be joined. Love would be a player and now it's just about acquiring playmakers. Lucia layer deck in enhancing upgrade. The team on both sides of the ball whether that's a wide receiver whether it s a corner whether that's a second level defender. It just enables dim to take the best player available and put in wherever they need to put him to upgraded team. Yeah it has been a wild wild rye couple other things here. I talked about it a long time ago about the browns. We're GONNA Sign Jack. Conklin that ended up getting done. I still think they're a really good chance. They ended up taking a tackle with their first round. Pick at number ten overall. That would not surprise me to see them. Double up there. The jets assigned George Fan. Who's not sexy name? But a real athletic in is going to be a tackle for them and their zone scheme. GonNa run a lot zone scheme stuff this year. So athleticism will be featured With him I still think they're in the tackle business going forward. So we'll see what else they do building up their team but man it has been a wild wild ride. Buck yes it's been it's been crazy to watch an R. Msa This in the midst of doing this you I still have our is Castle the draft in how impacted on Im releasing an updated version of my top five. No major changes at the top. Everything Kinda stayed the same as it relates to the combine. But I kind of brought up the point about Leonard Floyd because one guy that I'm struggling with and I know you feel strongly about him. Kayla von Chason. I've had a tough time with in terms of trying to figure out where he fits. I have no questions about the athleticism. The speed bursts in the play making ability in terms of being able to run and chase. I do have questions about. Is he going to be candidate edge? Rusher and I know we talk about not scouting the helmet but I have the horrors of Burkina's Mingo and or kind of hanging in the background. So I've been very very slow reluctant to give him a big grade. Just because I'm just wondering will he be different than the guys that I saw previously at Lsu Now? I think that's fair. You know we talked about this four podcasts like I I think you know. I think he's a different player than those guys. Like archies Health issue a good bit with him You know Chasen's had some injuries too so there is a similarity there. I have him as my twenty fifth overall player. I think initially you're going to be more excited with using him on games and stunts and loop doing all hands and stuff like that a little bit more of an athlete than polished Russia right now but I thought as you see recovering you know. Having some time away from his injury towards the end of the year I thought you really saw him put things together. He's you know bar Keita's mango couldn't he eats that no strength. No place during this kid. Actually hold the point of attack and he's got some strength so that's why it's different than than those guys but I'm GONNA book I don't I don't think you know I don't think he's a top ten top fifteen player but I think there's a chance he goes in the top fifty s because of the richer classes and what it is. Oh absolutely do that now. I will say the thing that may slow down a little bit. Because I think he definitely would have skyrocketed up the charts if he had his pro day at Lsu any put ridiculous numbers up. I think now because it's a little more based on the tape. It may not be the top ten top fifteen status that we were thinking about. Potentially he Karasu but yeah he's talented. There's no doubt about the talent I just think it is just very very hard sometimes to get these what I call pure speed Russia's right and I think I'm also scarred by the way that I fell in love with Vic Beasley in the process. He had a great year but for the majority of career. He didn't pop. And so you just like to make sure we have a little more than just at fastball. Did they can hit you something else. Now I hear you what we're going to have time was definitely a free agent heavy podcast today. But we're going to start packing all this stuff as it pertains to the draft. We've got a team. A bunch of teams with new picks now back with all the trades. We've seen take place so if you're Minnesota Viking fan also now your little more juice about this draft. Same if you're a San Francisco Forty niner fan. Little bit more bumped up as well so it's GonNa be fun now as we march towards a draft. It's definitely an unusual time in the world right now but man. It's always good to get together with you. Buchan just talk some ball novice fine. This is fine like low. We had a lot of action. The League year is is upon us all the action I can't wait. There's no more before I next podcast talk even more about well. That's going to do it for us today. I do WanNa thank special. Thanks to Nabeel Arjuna in The big man Marc show here to figure out a way that we could get these podcasts out and delivered to you guys so while everybody is at home during this This difficult time around the world so I wanNA thank them for all their hard work. Hope you guys enjoyed it annual kitchen next time right here on this.

He's not wrong. Not a reporter jussie smollet correspondent. Yes, if trudgy p Watson back, then you give her what she wants. She's the Oscar nominee. She's the the box office draw. She's the reason why people watch the show. So if the Queen wants her back in thrown you don't bring him on. I don't watch empires. His character. Essential to the plot of the show cares is essential. If you watch game of thrones. You know, any man can't go at any moment. That's unusual. They do they typically don't game of thrones sopranos, those are different where they're killing main characters that typically doesn't app but true. But when you are an influx like this. This is a good time to have a big moment. This it's good for ratings and also just good to get into trouble. But it's Raji wants him back. Then I, you know, I who am I to say who am I to say, I I do know this though. Yes. They've lost a lot of fans because of that, dude. Because there they were turned off by what he did people think that he lied and lied about something like that. Because of that, it's hard to mess with them. You know, it's hard to turn on TV. And not think about the fact that you know, he tried to do to Raji wants him back. That's like LeBron San want that Gama team they're going to be on the team. Yeah. That's not pretty simple, right? He good L Zia saying Terrence Howard in Toronto you can both getting back. No question. But we'll the fans that they love the show gravitate back to the show knowing that he is on the show, and they're mad at him for his accident that he did when he was you know, hijacked or whatever he was what does this mean for the to whatever he saw. What happens to them because they were completed it could be rose before it was bad actors clearly in every sense of the word. I mean, we will not have it. I just can't believe they rode like that so fast. Well, I don't think they thought it through. I don't think they did the back story of their characters in this particular role was shopping together to bow to stuff not great together. Not great. Do you want button? It up key. Oh, today's headline. Yes, that's hidden. The home. So. Kisha? He's coming back. That's right. That's may everybody's getting out of school. So I was just trying to be having successful academic year won't find that out to the grades. Come in. You check his great. No, why why do I need to check his berry because you just said I wanna know into they come in. But I don't check like on old. You're not on a day to day week to week. He knows what he needs to do. Yeah. Yeah. I'm on that too. He likes the chief. He's grown now. Smoke all you won't Gloria. That show that show you life buddy, you chose that path. Do you if if you follow this the grabby? Choose a lot of path. Kisha Jimmy got a tight began Becky. Big fan of Becky, we've all type. Yeah. He got type though. Does everybody? Becky is right. A piece of show. We talked about the same. Becky, well, is this a lot of difference? You use Becky and a lot of different words. That one the daughter that's down. Yes. Understood happen to own Lexus of something or. All right Kentucky Derby on Saturday. And a horse racing is not what it was at one point. But the derby gets people excited and it ended with a controversial decision where maximum security was initially declared the winner, I horse to cross the finish line. But then there was an inquiry, and it turns out that country horse was declared the winner after there was a foul by maximum security where he veered into the way some of the horses. Matt Jones talk show in Kentucky says it was the right call it start in the Tarn veering off into other lanes. We're going to get killed. I mean, that's really the case. Because the you start clipping hails on horses, and it can be a real problem any there's no doubt about it. Maximum-security veered off and that is against the rules. Now, I still think maximum security was the best horse. It didn't need to veer off if they get veered off because it got a little spooked by puddle that I think. Gave a reflection him it die, but regardless to horses, we're behind it. Cut them off. If it wasn't for the jockey of war of will. I think you could have had a devastating Powell. But I think for people who really know horse racing. It was the right decision. Even though it made a lot of people mad. Speak on behalf of all three of us here when you heard Matt Jones for people that really know horse racing. That's none of us. Okay. So the three of us are not horse racing experts. But the idea of you can't have a horse just severe out of its own line. Because if you do that, you're gonna have a pile up dead horses and people, but if his explanation or his rationale for the variance, correct, then no one's at fault. Right. If the horse got spooked because the SARS reflection a puddle as was running. I mean, the jockey wasn't trying to be, you know. No, I don't think there was any malice trying to cut people off. But at the same time, if all of a sudden, I mean, again, having never been a jockey not exactly built like a jockey stated a little chance today to junkie for like a horse is gonna win. Is it a win the whole idea is that it's his responsibility. Because it wasn't that the horse took one step to the wrong direction. It it just started to run away. I guess my question would be how do I know then I'm getting in somebody else's lane. Because first of all there's no lanes. Right. And if I'm, but key I would again, I'm just assuming here of you. And I are running in a race in the five of us are six of us are running in a race. You might not see exactly where l z. The lane because I'm in the lane. I know the stripe it's about an not on a track like at a track and field event. Just they we're just running around each other. Like, we're the beach or whatever. And there's no you're going to know where everyone else is you're going to know if there's somebody on your inside, you're outside you can kind of feel that from the horse because the horse has the blinders on right if but you can hear it you can feel it you can feel somebody's presence. Even if I sneak up behind your to stand there, you're going to know him stand with that would be very creepy. If you should just stood there. Watching me sleep. That would be let's say you were asleep, quite new movie. What is it? Yeah. That would be awkward. I don't I'm not gonna do that. But you can feel when there are other people and things around you. I mean, you can. But I'm I'm just gonna be honest with you. Talking about talking. I mean, I'm just going to be honest. I hate talking about stuff, and I'll know what I'm talking about. I don't know nothing about horse racing on enough about horses. Some stop talking shouldn't should the horse half. Oh, no. They got TQ maximum security run in the Preakness. There are enough about it to tell him if he should have health wise big deal, and he should to to redeem himself. But I guess if you don't get to triple crown, which is all three yes in he didn't win this one. So there's no point is what his rightful owner trainer was was saying that there's no real reason for me to run in this next one because I can't get the triple crown. I'm only trying to get triple crown. Yeah. But why wouldn't he ran? No that doesn't make it doesn't make racists come in pretty short succession. Okay. So I are right on top five one will now you're trying to win the triple crown. There's a there's a big carrot out there for you. But if I won right the Kentucky Derby. Yes. As a carrot our run in the next one, oh for sure so run in the next one. Like country horse country horse is the winner of the derby. They're going to run in the Preakness because they're the I mean, this is stupid. But they're the only one who has a shot at the triple crown. So if country horse loses in the Preakness in the Belmont, it's just gonna be a bunch of horse and whatever because there's no there's nothing at stake anymore. Bunch of donkeys much a plow mules say I mean, I don't know it's horse racing. Anton defined incentive high come around rain. He's on track with tales E L Z's inside lane. Travis coming down the stretch. You like host Chris is looking a little slow a little bit. And he's overweight. But going to the track is fun. I went one time when we played for the jets Bill Parcells big horse, right? Saratoga right here. Togas a big solo. He had some some deal going with horses. Man around losing money betting. No his horses. He tells you out there running donkeys males. Oh, you you pig more. So he's gonna he's young. He's a pup. But okay, you're rich guy you ever think about getting in never not work with a guy owns horses. Yeah. Horses like that. No, no kids can ride them. But that's about all we not doing jumping training. You did own a horse because that picture came in. Even the whole ride, but not a racehorse racehorse. Yeah. But you still owned a horse. Yeah. But no racehorse will you still should no more than five hundred dollars for a horse. We get a horse. Crowhurst gun. You can ride them around. Running through the Santa Monica mountains. It's fun. Yeah. But it costs a lot every month to upkeep. It's not just a one and done. Can't keep it in the backyard. Depends on where you live. You got to have a porn. You gotta have stays away you live if you live in some places, they got plenty of room and other places in the inner city, you're in trouble. Competent allow the inner city horses the sheriff has them but they're riding in Compton. No flow now in places like Compton. There's there's there still enough space where there were farmlands way. Back win never converted them. Y'all didn't get a chance to do that. We kinda kept some stuff to ourselves. Just a. Newport, newport. Well, there's a ton of horses by me. No, no, not not in not in south. But right in Newport Beach, literally in new I'm talking Newport Beach in jamboree to MacArthur between like Newport high. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All that is. Does the water too? Yeah. You probably wanted courses or no seahorses. No seahorses a little thing that grows when gets out to the bottom of he just check it. You like his one of my all time you seen shrimp. Yeah. It was eighteen inches. I still feel like we're missing have you ever seen? Have you ever seen eighteen inch Vermont? Skept? You're eighteen inch shrimp just cut it up for the whole several bites. See how is the fight? Was zona. How was the fight supposedly you off from here because you had to go cover fight. Why you say supposing because Roger. We didn't see you. Maybe it said they didn't see care. But a lot of Chris Mannix. Check. I'm good was a finance see hire people. Like, you you make it bad for people like me. Where do you care about is the money? Well, are you getting up at six AM preferred? Yeah. I wake up every single morning to come in here and have a ball with American Dan the framework. Honestly key does come in for the fun of it. I think so, you know, for the sport of sports. Okay. What you should do these reeds for. I do and you'll get the money. The but a lot of Land Rovers in the last month and a half. Was the fight any good. The the the main fight Cannella versus Jacobs. Write me a while. Technically was a very good fight lack that while factors. Like if you saw triple jeod Condello, whether you are boxing fan or not that just exciting, right? Because he was just looked like there was like a lot of action happy. This was a very defensive minded about. I would say would you say that Raj? Yeah. I would say that in a better. I mean, Connecticut, I gotta give him credit longer. He goes he's becoming more of a boxer and sometimes becoming a box of Megyn more hid movement. Maybe less slugging, you know, like going out all out fighting. So even though he's becoming a better fighter. Maybe are boxer. Excuse me. The matches might not be as exciting aesthetically pleasing may weather this. I may whether it's a very very good fighter. He's a good boxer. I get that. But I don't really like watching them because you know, he's not there's not going to be like a lot of action action. That's going to be. Great boxy, the great movement and technically is going to be a really good fight. But if you're looking to see two guys go at it, and that's not going to happen with they roll. It isn't don't don't potato the rockets chance to even up their series in his Steve Kerr doing the rockets a favor. We'll explain next. No need to know. And smashed because Chris no twenty nine years ago after a five-year run two two seven when off the air. Hey, Jackie was in decade, Harris. Darting Marlow Marla Gibbs. Right. He was the star. She was Florence. She's singing the song. Between a king was in it Mia, Goodwin Kia Goodwin. Yeah. Over Jean King Gina came shows only on for five years. Philip goes on longer because flow. It was produced by VO will now. Mary. I don't think I ever watched a single episode. Probably that was she still like when she was Florida. Exactly. She was a strong black woman making sure that her daughter was raised properly. Well, that's while making sexually inappropriate jokes with Jackie. And what was the old knows downstairs the old lady? Suffered Issan choosing choosing San Francisco rush. No, no, no, no. She wasn't as on. Was she what was her name older black eighty dollars downstairs out the window? Oh you. The gossiping on coming to the door with a gown. Oh, all the time. Say again, so every time like a generally fancy dress. No, no again like. How? Pajamas? Now, I understand all right. Two two raptors, and what's that? Are you saying that would have been? Philly and Toronto too. If quite has been so good in this series. I mean, quiet just been amazing. He was great in that game yesterday to if they go to the finals is there any chance that he stays because it. Finals dog they're not going to finals. I don't read. You can see who's that back court. I high allow is a mess. I get it. This is there's no better way to have visions of Leonard being a Laker. Then why watching him try to play basketball? We'll call our deposi. Cou I'm not. Yeah. Dude. Go keep shooting jump shots every shot you take. He just wants to close to the lower. Lowry is not great. Gotta lowry. But Kawais that great kuwa-. Why is good? If can get healthy. And maybe he'll be able to do that in time. Maybe he won't. He's a pretty good player Marcus can have moments. I know that you keys, not a guy that you can rely on. But cou why look. It feels like we're gonna get down to to Milwaukee and Toronto. And if we're talking about Yoenis against coli, and I understand that the Janas has a better supporting cast then collider's right now. But the way that he's playing I I don't know if I pick them, but I wouldn't be shocked. I would be. Would you be shockey is Toronto got there? Yes. How long shot? Why would they they're right there with that that Milwaukee that's cool that they won the most games in regular season. They got the number one see. But at the end of the day play seven games. I mean, it's the best of seven it's not the best of the regular season. So you still got to account for them? You know, what I'm saying teams that you play against they still gotta do they think they can hold on down. If Yang if they somehow got to meet up, but whatever the hell, you honest and check. They got that's the only plan in my opinion. That's the only player really the bucks got. They really. That's really nice Middleton. Cool star put us cool. Everything run through. He's. Contin everything. Every Batman needs a, Robin. And if you're Robin has a history of not sure enough when a joker comes out. I mean, and that's what this is. We thought we thought Toronto problem was LeBron's James the heiress tiny face. The problem is Kyle cow Loria and their hit should this key for the next few years because he saw that big contract. And I would love to sit here and go nowhere. Here's what could happen. I got enough before when it comes to Kyle Lowry. What could happen is quite might be that good because co is a lot better than demar Rosen. And that's not shaded Tamar to Roseanne just that's just. He's just a better player. He's just a better player and LeBron is gone. And I don't know if Milwaukee or Boston or Philadelphia or all posing. Those opponents are terribly scary. That thing that that would if he won the championship, then he stays just getting net. It's not gonna be good enough because you get there you be in the same position again next year. He's just going to be getting there because go to state product will still be strong. Oh, they still throw Lakers will probably be a little bit better Houston, probably going to be the same Abedin. I'm not gonna worry about the Lakers. Yeah. They gotta get into the playoffs before I start worrying about them. But you know, they got some money, man. Gotta draft picks. Yeah. I don't know. I'm not gonna fall into that trap again with. I hope so. To me. I think the Lakers being in the in the postseason foregone conclusion, but that's a conversation for after off season. But if you are looking at the conversation of free agents, and you're asking yourself ok look at the situation in Boston. I've been disappointed this series with Kyrie. I thought if there was going to be a series, and I don't know how you feel Raj. But I thought if there's going to be a moment now, which is to step up and prove that you're that dude. This would be the series. It hasn't happened. So weird team. It has not happened is weird teams. Because if you're the Lakers, and you're trying to figure out okay? How am I spending my money who am I going after you're looking at things like their postseason performance? And I know that they wanna chip with Braun a kyri, but Kyrie is by it's not by himself. But he's supposed to be the leader of this quad. Sure. The next person you bring in supposed to be the leader to squash the brownie tires. I'm looking at career not going you ain't gonna job down with this. What you do with the regular? I'm looking at Kyrie's age in his health to replace LeBron. Well, like that I don't like that part of it. Either the other you bring up a really good point. There's there's two different things. Sometimes they overlap sometimes they don't, and I think in the us. Lebron Kyrie is the two examples. Lebron is a great player who also happens to be the leader of every team is on and everybody's gonna follow whether it's through personality or just raw skill or some combination of both of those things LeBron is the leader of the team. Kobe Bryant grape later leader of the team. Okay. Kyri Irving is a great player. I don't know what kind of leader. He is. Because it doesn't win when he was in Cleveland before anybody specific Bron got there known as falling Tyree. You look last year without kyri that Celtic team seem pretty cohesive in really dangerous. They almost guy game seven in the Eastern Conference finals kyri comes back all season long. They have all sorts of conflict and and. Uneasiness to where he's apologizing and other guys are saying, yeah, we're not getting along. I don't know how great of a leader kyri. You're having is. He's a great player. But I don't know if he's the guy that set the tone for your squad. I don't know if that's a great plan. And that's you gotta be part of the calculus for the Lakers in the off season. I know people beggars can't be choosers. I'm not quite willing to call us beggars yet. But what I will say you should be doing some choosing. Well, because if you're crying if you started big checks you need to look at situations. Like how serious having this squad with these these players at this particular age level competition because that's going to be the scenario post abroad. Jay's. Choline bidders showing during this series that he can lead a squad. Yes. He's sure you that. There was a question Mark before because he was always with Turkey. Nobly parker. Now, he's by Toronto. And really by. Before. And he's showing that he could do this. We'll LeBron's goodbye. Obviously. That's one of the reasons why you would want someone like that. Did you have teammates that were really really really good players? And no one in the in the locker room was following them. They were kind of on their own program, despite the fact that they were awesome athletes born set. Yeah. Yeah. Because he's great player. Great plan. Nobody followed him happen clown. Las vegas. Just updated their twenty twenty NBA championship odds, and it looks like a lock for future hall of Famer to change teams to tell you the number next. Happy birthday meek mill thirty two years. Robert Kraft's, buddy. I heard that the meek mill is sticking by him as Robert Kraft goes through. Well, it seem right? Turn around. Meek mill. Thirty two years old today is birthday is brought to you by Jaguar Land Rover of Newport Beach off the seventy three toward the sea. Visit Land Rover Newport Beach that Land Rover above and beyond. He was going to get out of jail. Philadelphia made him like beak Bill day for the Sixers did right? The Sixers the city state recognized him as well. So why did they have him locked up in the first place political, man? It's all politics politics. We don't know mung Bob, Bob. I can see Russia from. The second. So we've spent a ton of time the NBA awesome because the games are fun. The playoffs are fun. But the drama and the player movement is interesting as anything else we've been talking about. Kevin Durant, leaving the warriors more or less from the moment. He's gotten there. And now he's up again at the end of the summer in or at the beginning of the summer, I should say, and he can leave and there's all been all sorts of speculation that the Knicks are where he's going to go. This is a pretty good indicator that Vegas things that that's where he's going to go. The Knicks are opening at sixteen to one to win the eastern, computer. The Knicks haven't made the playoffs in one hundred fifty years there the fourth best odds in the Eastern Conference or the Knicks at sixteen to one and you have to think that's because they're already hedging in the event that Kevin Durant comes to New York. 'cause there's no other reason to move them up like that. I don't think I don't think he's going to New York. First of all, I just think people just talking. Let's someone that he does. The knicks. The Knicks haven't had a really good player like Kevin. Kevin Durant is such a long time. Like who have an you say what they got. They brought in a mellow mellow at the time. But this is different. This is this is this is the top, dude. Yes. Neither one. The name was considered the top dudes in the NBA. So if you can get him, and you can grab Kyrie's somebody else to go along with him in Zaia. You might be cooking. You might be cooking. Leap for me. What is a seventeen sixty five team next season is supposed to jump by fifty games. And for sure I mean, that's they went seventeen games. And now they're a sixteen to one to win the east. For me. I'm more than Kevin Durant for me to believe you going to take that roster that won seventeen games and all of a sudden. There's times when the MVP quite positive Janas is still there. I may resign. Boston is still stacked could hit with Anthony David that just seems like a lot to be. Kevin durant? Kevin win. You could add a you can add him in another stood in a few little package deals around keeping they're gonna get a very high pick it so saying in that team will increase in their win total just because of that. But if that is not number one, there's nobody else coming out of school transformative keep a one hundred Zion is well first of all push back on that a little bit. And that there you never really know. There's always one guy or two guys that go a little bit later in the draft that you don't think in the moment. It's not like they pick them six off. That's the guy that's going to blow up, but there's a guy like Jamal Murray for the nuggets. Who goes I think he went seventh in the year. He went nobody was jumping. Hey, look at the nuggets they got Murray those things tend to present themselves a little bit over time shrew over time. But they're saying next year. I think it's I think Kevin Durant. A is that good and be the niece of that bad? I disagree with that. But he he can do some things. And then you. Look at the rest of the ease. It didn't take him to the favorite there. The fourth favourite in the east, but for them, it's a massive jump. I think it's more. It's one it's credit, Katie. And number two. They're no great teams in these. There's some good ones. But there's there's no warriors. Even know if there's a rockets in the east where one of those teams that we gotta deal with these guys at some point the Celtics are going to go through some sort of flex this off season, the bucks while they have Janas are really good. But they're not. They're not terrifying. If it's just the bucks and Jaanus against Katie and whoever they put together in New York. I don't know if I'm not picking the Nixon that I'm looking at Milwaukee. I'm looking at Toronto I'm looking at the Sixers at Boston Toronto might look different. If. Bounces that's different conversation. We don't know. And I'm assuming Vegas as the estimate on the idea that he's going to leave. Well, they have to cover their you know, what? Because if they don't and all of a sudden people start getting in on this on the assumption that he might come and it's making up a number here, but it's sixty to one and now with DeWitt Durant at sixteen. They're going to get cleaned out. But I'm not even sure that when all season is said and done that the knickerbockers still the best team in New York once off scene said and done, the Brooklyn nets are very much position to exact same things. And the Knicks are except they actually made the playoffs, and they actually have all started team. Whereas the Knicks are seventy when tennis niche Katie is that good. Yeah. But what of what of this Brooklyn? Nets qui- end up with another top tier free. Is there anything they could add that's even in the same universe as Kevin Durant? When no he's by far and away the best player in that squad. But if you tell me a team that won forty two games and has an all-star ready pig. Jimmy Butler that they would be just as good as Knicks. I'm sorry. That's not. That's just isn't true. Based upon with the way Rogers constructed right now John away Ross's construct the roster got them seventeen really need to know making friends with Embiid. They're staying together they seem to like each other. Try to get paid. I don't know. He's gonna make I whoever you. Won't work. Check. That's what he's making friends with bad. I respect it. The dodgers couldn't get the sweep done the pitching, not great. But they got a bigger problem in the infield. We'll tell you what it is next. Now Kristie just trolling me. Well, no, I made a mistake. This was actually the song rescue me. Oh. Happy birthday. Adele who turns thirty two years old today. She supposedly tease she's got a new album coming out soon. Some looking forward to that. I like it though, it's been a good couple of weeks for music, if you're into pop these what else Paik released a really good CD last week is really really good little aggressive for Mako head aggressive aggressive. Go ahead. It's just for me. You like your seniors. Really not aggressive if I saw her in person. Yeah. Restaurant malibu. I was impressed. She wasn't aggressive. She was just you know, she looked like a rocker beaver strike me. I mean, she's she's by far the best athlete on tour like that phrasing. Yes. Way her shows amount of physicality that's involved. Plus, she still has to say. Second-to-none? I don't give a damn what anyone have to say. In terms of you know. Yeah. Bruno Mars, blah, pink, swing it over on a trapeze in high notes that singing live, and I'm sorry. So pink, Adele, paint Cadel. There is new music from my my Queen Madonna, okay? Really really liked the Madonna rank in terms of the you know. The hierarchy. Yeah. In in, you know, in that in that part, like, we're Streisand and chair Janet generational thing. We talked about this. It's a generational thing. Because right now, the kids all of our 'Grande now, I like, Arianna 'Grande. Hey, really, call her Queen yet. She can be a pretty says machine. Well, she's a big. Oh, yeah. Oh, thank you next off that tattooed. Real. Thank you. I don't know. I don't know if we want to be. Really listen to that idea. It really hit me sit for a minute. About doing this the lyrics. That's what I said. I need to hear here. Real dog. She she missed all the people that you know, she's been a deep relationships with a huge saw there. She taught me that you taught me this. I think you next I'm growing, I'm learning. And I was I was thinking about like all my past. Oh god. That's not. That's not what it to hear this. Feel fifty fast enough. Yeah. Aaron thank you next. The dodgers lose today. Eight to five Potters get one in the series. Dodgers still point really good baseball twenty two and fourteen. They take two of three in the series. We talked about killing Janson he gave up the grand slam hunter Renfro not a good pitch, and they botched a couple of defensive assignments along the way, I think the best news of the day yesterday. If there isn't a good news and losing a game that Cory Seager got a couple of hits because he is not been right. He's come back. He's really been struggling. But I'm saying that the entire time. We everyone of saying coy is Cory Seager. Cory secret is it's like the dude coming off an injury. Oh. It's it's a Tommy John. They just put it back together. So and so had one and he he had nine hundred strikeouts in three innings like, okay? That's fine. But this this is this is a serious injury. You know and everybody just oh, he's he's just as good as Machado for less money. No. Here's an injury. He has an injury. So I can you be as good as somebody who's one hundred percent healthy and you coming off an injury. He's not as good as it's going to take time for him to get back to his old playing ways was interesting key. And you're absolutely correct. Absolutely. But I think that we got derailed right out the gate because he home in the first game in the opening game. Yeah. So we comes out and you hit the whole run the very first game back we go. We wrote a now we've wrote it might have just been a bad pit. He's gone since I know about it what he caught. It's he is as good as Machado. The problem is he's not as good as Machado right now. I think by the time we're in the middle of the year. Now, he's not gonna catch Machado because he's put a month on the board. That has not been particularly good Machado has been really really good suffers average. But you'd look at Seger. If it were just power if it were just him maybe having a couple of throwing errors along the way key. I would be more inclined to believe what you're saying. The promise he had an arm injury. And yet he's not hitting doesn't that affect? You still shooting in those muscles contract it. But you wouldn't think that that would be the reason that this is a guy that's a career basically three hundred to ninety six that is now batting two thirty. Yeah. But if you minutes, you viewer afraid that you go swing Nabet in your right? Arm your elbows being left field somewhere. I mean, you say you may be up there Linkin, which are mine. Something is going to happen. All of a sudden, you get to fall off if you connect the wrong. Yes. So I'm gonna try to change my stance, or I'm gonna I'm gonna crouch on a little bit more or I'm going to wait to see exactly what it is that they're giving me. And if I don't get it perfect. Then I'm gonna let it go by me. I mean, all of those things playing your mind when you come off, Angie, I was agent once upon a time, and when I came back the first week or so I was kind of not sure I'm sitting there saying, I just hope that this thing doesn't just completely rip off the bone. And then once I started to get into. Shape and really get in the groove and put my foot in the ground. I feel good about it in the rest was history. And that's where he needs to be Nash Muslim thrown on. You got there. Oh my gosh. This running bit. He's type for the second most walks squad. But wasn't press of look. Looking for silver linings? Yes. Twenty nine hits ten doubles. It's not bad. No. It's not. So when he's actually hitting he's he's he's got some power. He's getting extra bases for us. You mentioned CO two runs. But when I look at the ten doubles, which is by far and away leading the team. Okay. So it's not as if he's completely like he's not the Darvish of Batty. No-no just is it what he was before. He got injured right now, I think did again light kenley Jansen light Clayton Kershaw. There's a little bit of a problem of your comparing him against the best version of himself, which is really which is MVP caliber good. And he's not that right now that doesn't mean he can't get there by the end of the season that doesn't mean that he won't be an MVP candidate moving forward. But I think we talked about Seger. He's not perform we're talking about just in turn of the fact that he wouldn't hitting home runs. We talked about kenley Jansen that he's given up a bunch of home runs. We've talking about all these little things here and there dodgers the only team in major league baseball twenty two. Wins. We're we focus on Janssen give up another one, of course secrets bat in two thirty. They're the only team in baseball with twenty two. You mentioned this repeatedly nothing is very smart. We compared to because for a better selves when a two time, you know. League champion. Has key players who were all to sort of slow start. We pick why because we've gotten fat and greedy off to success, especially that first year whenever Ronin we were one of the best similar town in ever put together. What me finish that sees more than one hundred hundred offer. Yeah, you were not a part of that work in pre and post and with Marcellus. With kelvin. And with other things first year, you were more solid yet. Okay. I missed that one. Yeah. I thought it was killed in Kelvin. And then Sean, and then me, so they went down Marcelo. So you wouldn't first choice. In other words. I was third best. That's okay. Sometimes these executives make bad decisions. They learn later tenth round draft pick show out in turn out to be pretty. Thank you next. There you go. There you go. Absolutely look. This dodger team, I think is the best one that we've seen in a while. Because it's the deepest that you look at what you have that you go across the board MAC Muncie. I think it turned out is a pretty good major KiKi Hernandez who I always been a fan of. But as an everyday player is a really good player. Juries the real deal jock. Peterson has settled into being maybe not what we thought when he first showed up where he was going to be a perennial all star. But he's a really good player. Only whole they really have in that lineup is behind the plate. And they're they're dealing with it. They're trying to figure that out. But other than that. That's a really good team in barns got a really key home. Did he did even if a whole he's a hit? If the worst thing you can say is our number eight guys and pulling his weight. How four of the Trojans fallen key tell you. Three.
