"Yesterday having to believe it or not blow up at beaver dam with some tannerite. And the fellow with these, I got to shoot it with a 6.5 on an AR platform. And it had put a suppressor on there and took it like several shots because he had a shift in the point of impact when he puts the pressure on. So the question is, is that normal? That's one question I want to get answered. The other is what's going on with pressure, because I keep hearing that it's much more, it's a much faster now to get the paperwork on your suppressor. Who better to fill us in on a lot of this than Dave matheny from science or shop? Hey Dave, how are you? Hi, this is good. How are you doing, Tom? Okay, first question is at normal or is it kind of common to have a little shift in your point of impact when you put a suppressor on? Yo, that is actually really, really normal. It tends to be not as big of a problem and believe it or not as I said it threads in your barrel that will cause the problem more. But you do need to re zero with the supper. Once you've read zero, it'll be right. It doesn't shift from time to time that you put it on, but it does shift from having off to having it on. Right. And it's just harmonics, a lot of things going on. You're hanging this big thing on the end of I mean, even though they're not necessarily heavy these days, you are changing the vibrations and everything. That's right. Okay, so the other question is, and before we get into what's cool, what's new is we kept hearing that the ATF rules have changed and now we've got E forms and it's going to take a lot less time to get your paperwork. You're well into it now. So what do you see in? You know, we are seeing times are significantly faster than they were last year. In fact, we're getting paper form stack right now from 14 months ago and E forms back from a 150 days ago. I think ATF is still going to get that down to 90 days. But they've been kind of struggling because they're trying to they're trying to get the paper forms out of the system. Before they completely ramp up the E

It's currently three Meteorologist. Ryan got her is with us. Hey, Brian. So help us with that snow. What? What's it looking like? Who gets the most of it? What's the timeline? Racine and Kenosha gets the most. Racine is already starting to see the snow fall. There's a very narrow lake effect band. Out over the lake moving toward wind point in Racine. So there that area under the warning that you mention until noon tomorrow will pick up 4 to 8. More likely 5 to 8 inches of Lake effect. Snow South Milwaukee County could pick up 4 to 5, the rest of Milwaukee County looking to get about four. On then Sheboygan Ozaki County is 2 to 3, and then she will inland you're looking at less and less snow. Some areas like out towards the same Watertown Beaver Dam. You might not even see an inch of snow, if any at all, Because this is mainly a lake effect issue. There is a huge and I mean huge Winter storm to the south of US, Illinois, Indiana. Kentucky, Tennessee. They're getting buried by snow. We're just getting the northern edge of this and that northeasterly wind, which is going to enhance some of those snowfalls, otherwise, everyone for the Northeast wind. Most of us will be getting about 1 to 2 inches of snow while areas to our south or just my sisters in Oklahoma City, saying they're getting a foot plus, wow. So, so that seems to be a trend that we've been seeing week after week for the past few weeks. Is this? Something will be seeing in.

"Say Happy New Year, isn't it? I think so. I think normally around the 10th is when that changes Where be happy New Year anyway. It's our first show, so it's great to be with you here. Three PM throughout the year, 2021. We will be on quite a bit. Not every Saturday, Robert Quite off and in the Saturday afternoon lineup, your hometown lawyer by way of background, Rob What would you describe me like law as doing so I'm gonna stay plenty attorney. What I do with that is I help people with trusts wills, powers of attorney probate in a state administration. Basically, it's a one stop shop to deal with death and dying in capacity a little bit of a morbid way to put it, but at the same time, let's face it. We're all gonna pass away at some point. We're all going to have expenses and in financial issues associate with our passing. I could help make those go is quickly a smoothly as inexpensively as possible to avoid as much governmental interference in taxation is we can at me like law is you said you, It's all about a state planning, so we'll get into like examples. I love the stories. You tell that really go to. Well, I'll say it right now. If you're 18 or over, you should have In the state plan exactly that right now, because you know, people stopped their cars. What I've got to send his 19. He doesn't have an estate plan while his powers of attorney there's all kinds of things to get into, besides just a will in a trust. So there's that biggest day planning umbrella. A lot of stuff is inside that rob right? Absolutely. Not. All state plans are created equal fact no to a state sponsor created equally. Three idea that again just to kind of reiterate enough for people Listen to show with regularity. I do exactly say that every single person over the age of 18 should have in a state plan. Why do I believe that? Because any person over the age of 18 is one moment away from incapacity were all one moment away from incapacity. Sudden moment behind bad moment behind the wheel on sort of a disease. We can all go from being perfectly capacity aided in time, 12 completely incapacitated in time, too. And once somebody reaches the age of 18 Unless you have a power of attorney in place. People who are parents of a 19 year old 18 year old 20, or whatever the cases are unable to make financial health care decisions. They can't even find out that person's been admitted to the hospital. Unless there is a power of attorney in place outside to talk about Cove in a little bit, just robbed a to remind people who haven't been around the hospital lately. It's a different world with Cove. It There's not many people standing around. Families used to be visiting patients, their loved ones, even and I think the ICU I think those days are are over. Robbie if something horrible happens if somebody is in a hospital, and the loved one wants to go see them power of attorney I think we'll talk about this later. It's critical. In fact, you need to show proof of that correct. Absolutely, to be able to be in that room again. Make a decision. Correct. Covert, assigned me Sure, Covert has absolutely changed the landscape, but But even irrespective of Cove it they're still HIPPA in place. And for those of you who are familiar with hip hop, Most people heard the term HIPPA. What it stands for is the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. In English. What it means is hip it governs when and what and how information can be shared between medical physicians, medical nurses, things like that and their patients. A protects the patient's rights to have their health information not be shared against their consent. And that's what it really comes down to kind of tied up back together the 18 year old who is not able to make medical decisions, because here she is in a coma to the correction, let's say Because of that coma that 18 year old does not have the ability to say to the doctors. Yes, I want my parents to know. Yes, I want my parents feel like medical decisions. They're fully sedated out of it after surgery or whatever. That's exactly right now. They can't. They can't speak for themselves or make a decision. This is where the power of attorney now correct me If I'm wrong Rod power of attorney P. O A. You hear this a lot legal people throw it around like it's part of every day. Talk right. We need to understand there's a financial and then there's a health part. So there's really two forms correct and the way I divided up that is house traditionally about it up to in financial health care, But as a practical matter, I like to make the distinction of health care and everything else because even if things aren't what you or I or anyone in the audience would consider traditionally financial those air often covered under a financial power of attorney. The common example I use is the ability to receive mail. I don't think anybody would necessarily hold that to be financial, but since it's not Healthcare. It falls under the umbrella of the financial power of attorney. So all this state planning questions, Rob, I just want to give up some information how to reach you. You've got for me like law. Five locations right now in Richfield. Heart, Washington West Ben Mak Kwan and Beaver Dam. We can call you. I think that's the best way to communicate right round. Absolutely. I'm Trish I'm 39 years old and maybe a millennial, but I always prefer to pick up the phone. You're old school Milan. I am I'm a throwback. It's just kind of the way it goes. Maybe it's the way my parents raised me. But I'm always one to pick up the phone and how. Of course I can email. I do text like any good millennial does. But at the same time, the best way to do it is to have a phone call. Because again, what I like about the phone call is its ability to deal with the nuances, right. I mean, you can text and have basic conversations. Hey, I'll meet you here two o'clock, great. But when it comes to a state planning a lot of times when a question is answered, it may lead to additional questions and text mayor may not necessarily be the most conducive way to be able to have those kinds of discussions but again. My whole practice model. Paul is whatever makes it easier for my client or my perspective clients. I'm glad you said that you make house calls. I do mean you'll visit the home. You can come to the five locations you could do a virtual a visit on a phone or computer? Absolutely. Whatever works best. Oh, the show is called your Hometown lawyer Estate planning attorney is rob me like and that's pretty much That's how we describe your work estate planning exactly. Questions you don't trust will's will get into probate. We'll talk about it. Ah lot of material today. But any any questions could be directed right to the office. And again. That number is 262347 34 44 to 623473444 for me like love those five locations. Beaver Dam Port Washington, Mac one West Ben Richfield. This show on W them for some time now going back to last year. What happens? What happened to are you smarter than Bill's dead? It hurts my feelings. No hard feelings, Although I said yesterday I'm pretty sure he meet mug me in the hallway the other day. Hmm. Pretty sure that happened. No, Bill says, kind of moving his schedule around. So it's been harder to do that. We'll bring it back. We may not do it every Thursday. We're gonna bring it back in case there's a lot of work for Bill stuff. The pressure's on him. I got no pressure. I mean, he's got to answer those questions, and I'm pretty sure we did it for probably at least 10 months, and the only lost the only lost a couple times he tied like, maybe three times, so I mean he did brilliantly, So he's a smart guy, but we'll bring that back at some point, so that Hopefully that answers that question. Yeah, I think it does. Absolutely thank you for that, Steve. Do you think the 19 eighties was the best decade ever? Why would I think that eighties Mm. Let's see. I graduated from college, starting exciting career in television. I lived in San Francisco and Florida. Chicago. Mm. Just like generally or me. I'm just focusing on me. It didn't specify just in general eighty's good. Actually, the eighties were good. Yeah, I mean, I had fun. Good TV. That's when shells were shows we don't have, like, always dumb game shows that that passed for network television now and Let's see if these were bad for football. I'm a huge football fan eighties. Packer's not so good. Although Lynn Dickie was around that if I remember correctly, I would give it. Yeah, the eighties maybe. Certainly not. The sixties was a decade of turmoil in assassination the nineties. I had a lot of fun in the nineties. So I don't know. I guess it Z everybody's taken. I'm if you weren't born before 2000, you don't have anything to say about any of those decades. So it's relative for subjective. I should say, Hey, Craig from Beaver Dam wants to know how can we develop a covert 19 vaccine in 10 months but still not having effective mosquito repellent after centuries, right? How is it? You know what it is? I've had this conversation on the show and not as often as I should have. There are things that medical professionals want to work on. And they're things that they don't want. Oh, here's here's a specific case in point. Now, any of you are older like me. You've had a colonoscopy at some point and part of that process is I'm trying to make this is As general is possible is you have to consume this liquid or Just the stuff that makes you essentially Move through your balls. All the things you've consumed in the last couple days. I guess that's the easiest way can say it, and it tastes horrific. If I was a medical professional, I wanted to make sure that people actually said I'm gonna go get that Colin asked, because the process isn't bad. And I've had one and I know the process post. That part of it is like is not nothing at all to worry about. But it's just a pain, literally a pain in the butt. Because you gotta you gotta take this horrible, horrific tasting beverage. If medical professionals worked as hard on that, as it did in the vaccine, they would make that thing taste like something that you would chuck down and have no problems. No fears of doing. That's one example. There's other ones out there. I'm sure people will fill me in on that. So that's the clear example. Here's one thing on the vaccine, though a lot of people I was reading some Facebook post last night. Mike and people are Pontificating about the vaccine and well, it's been rushed and its CEO it zero fast. I'm gonna wait. You know what the technology is better now, the computer speed And a billion process information is much faster now and better now, so things that took five years now take nine months. That's the reality. This thing has been tested in the same manner. It's just the technologies and it has been able to move the process along quicker. All right, What else we have, you're gonna text line again. Sure. All right, Steve. If you were still an elected official during this presidential run, would you still be a spoken out against him? As you have been on your radio show? You know, I get this question a lot. Um, what? I'm not an elected official have a radio show, So I have the ability to pontificate a lot more. I used that word twice in the last few minutes. Um I would just I always say the same thing. Whether whatever my reality is whether it's elected official previously or a Radio talker now and here's the bottom line on the president. I praise him when he deserves praise, and I call him when I think he does something that it's not beneficial are helpful to our country. Can't be more Honest and forthright about it in that.
