Maybe two azima night. Something like that and Left on these last few albums literally. We just Recorded two albums were brought. He's in the process of putting together again. He's showers coming up. I've got shows them coming up in two law in august and then possibly mold but will have to say i. yeah stalled. He's gonna go more into classic. Rock napalese breeze comes through emotional blues. Blues background yeah. I've listened to some of the aunts relate. It's gotten yes so that the sort of took the law couple of gigs. That come up ways. His last now to be honest because of his role was dies. Busy sort of every every wake yeah but when when i do come on fri i'll take anything really says good to buy. Would you like to tell us about this. So i am endorsed by jewish trump pedals. Roland yucai a sim pads which allow the symbol optimization pets los cabos drumsticks which will canadian from state manufacturer and thing. That's it important davis yet. Poor diva's a mall based lamont monitoring system which is essentially Is a site that gives me a kick up the backside. Every time i hit the strong for the done. But i mean the odd. That was a guy in china that the total dies thing because essentially when he as drama when you playing the one thing each often struggle to hit particularly in smaller gigs less so ambiguous because monitoring in smaller gigs. You hit a struggle to the bicycle because it gets washed up in all the vice frequencies and so with this generally feels lawyer when she playing even if it is a big topic feels the whole kits marked up Saw us even. When we go touring always on display back two. If i if i can get one of not Account always get one blows talking yet and the sticks the los cabos states absolutely fantastic best steaks aged and always used them before he can go hand dole's just to contact them. If you could offer a tip to a drummer who was about to go their very first tool what would it be. Just be easy to get along with the easy to get a and be conscious of the fact that you will hold everything together and you'll driving the band. Because i you know if somebody said account one of the bass player actually from the role of said to me a said to me everything stops for the drums so in other words. The energy that the band is putting out a starts with the drama saw britain. Really you know you need to be In a given off a positive energy and Draw drive in the band so that so that so they feel. I actually code savage engineering for that reason Yeah it will exposure driving l. Hadn't really thought about it but it is absolutely true because if the drama is sort of lacking energy or not really playing with any passion. It's vielbourg always sort of pulling along. He asked to push the us to that. Genet- genetically main saw An it's and it's you know. Playing drums is a more of a support role. If you like so you know. It's the foundation for everything and then everyone else in the band can do their bit. And you know with Someone less you know. Who's who's out the front fronting the band. If he feels confident in what's going on behind than agin do better basically. Yeah yeah it's true. It's absolutely sure yeah. Is there anything about your role as a drama that you feel is your exclusive territory on size exclusive tara territory. Because i'm sure there's other traumas the The play sit think similarly. But i always played the song Play anything that's on necessary in terms of fancy fills and that sorta stuff so apply any. What's necessary and i play Apply solid soy Again it gets back to support supporting the bounden particularly you know like playing the role of songs when you listen to those seven all went back and listen to all the seventy songs and they were actually studio musicians and there's various songs the does not particularly fancy fills the very definite titans. I don't even say last. One move. Wednesday plying ed loans certain patents so he remembers take up a that doesn't mean account for any of mine personality any k. "In regular concert there is a bar set as far as production value depends on whether inside or outside obviously when they're outside. They do things like pyro and really exciting things like that. insides a little different but still there is quite a bit of production value so yeah yeah like we. Dan We had drones when we saw when they were here in Indianapolis so they had lights on them so that's very cool so I I was expecting some level of production value not anything too extravagant because this does have a level of sophistication tied to it because it is with Orchestra Stra but I was not disappointed with the production value. They had lights Did you sung lasers. There's no no pyro or drones or anything but they also had like these giant rings. I guess is the best way to put these four three or four rings and they're different sizes but they were also video screens so they could show video video. They can do live video from from inside out from one of the cameras but they also show like clips from music videos or her animation. If there is like animation then we'll have a song or whatever so that was really cool because you could see does the facts and also see like what they do on stage as far as like lighting and laser effects that you would necessarily be able to see if you were down lower so that that was that was cool and and we'll talk about that the settlers Tarasenko because it was the same for both and then Sunday what the crowd was different the first night yeah yeah well. I was GONNA do comparisons here in a moment so so that was that was Friday night up high Sunday nights. We get there and we are are so much closer. I didn't even realize how much closer we were like. I knew what it was like. The wrong like the section number was unlike the row and the seat numbers but it wasn't till we actually got there and usher was like Oh yeah. You're all the way down there. Almost on the floor they had they had little reseda really good yeah they had they had floor seats and then they had like temporary seats. You remember like back in the day in school where like the bleachers they could pull them out in your high school gym. It was Kinda like this where they had spurts. Were they could pull out and put down chairs. That's where we're sitting so we were in. We were in between the actual floor and the First Section of permanent seating so we went and sat down and we're like is this right back because it's like I knew we we paid a quite a bit more but not a whole lot more thrown my back yeah but the dislike the seats were so good and other than the fact that the there is a one camera they were using the boom arm in that happened to be the side the it was also on so every now and then the arm would swing in front of us have blocks of you but hashtag check first world problems yeah but it was it was so wild to see the same things but from that different angle in there were things that I missed because of the different angle the first time because we had the bird's eye view the first time there were something's obscured because we were so high up that could not see so the second time around is heightened see that the first time so so that was that was really cool but yeah it's definitely a different atmosphere. Friday versus Sunday and how how much of that is because they tried to the tickets for Sunday were sold in a way that went mostly to legacy fan club members so you had like the. I don't say true Metallica fans because I consider myself DOC fan. I just got into it late so I'm not you know someone who paid to be in the fan club but it just seemed like a different atmosphere. masseurs fires the crowd. You still had your your rowdy. Folks your people that had been pre gaming. Maybe just a little bit too hard Tom and think that they could sing perfectly on key when they can't which is why. I'm really looking forward to getting that. CD The of the of the of the concert because right now all the recordings that are out there like Youtube and stuff are sings that people during their own so you've got the screaming and people singing off key and talking and stuff where it's not the the the the music is not the forefront of what you're hearing in the recording but yeah I I. It's it's hard to describe. It's one of those things where it's like. There's so many different I think factors is that win to play for both nights that made them feel so similar yet so difference. It's kind of hard to quantify antici exactly what I mean like just watching a concert like it was kind of neat. They'd be around people that were excited to be either like this on on the Sunday the second I were so close just the angle in the I don't know the energy in the air with with that type audience one guy I met there who said he goes yeah. This is my hundred and sixteenth metallica show and so so you know you you got people there that know anything and everything about METALLICA. Trivia you know they'd just into it and you know being so close close. I was getting chills throughout most of the show on the second night whereas the first night I didn't even get close to that. We're also seated one row down in just the little bit of a little bit of people away from a cliff birds dad was cliff burden as their bass player that I alluded to earlier that passed away that his dad's named Ray Burton he's ninety four years old and he goes to lots and lots of metallica concert to be can he lives in. La in Santa Barbara you think or something like that but anyway he's he loves the band and support sort of the fans because a lot of fans are when you're really like cliff Burton's era of Metallica in just a legacy the only reason they're even instant they are based in San Francisco's because when they hired cliff as their bass player he said I don't want to move to. La On you guys to move to me here in San Francisco so they did so. That's pretty amazing a see him yesterday he's not. He's like one of those people that you know you. Just don't meet and Stanley moment for me because I've been such a fan for so long here with cliffs sister go yeah that was that was really cool. Especially during talk about set lists now so there is a lot of speculation about how much the set list was going to match and or different from the rare I s and some people wondered if maybe they will be slightly different set lists for the two nights which that wasn't going to happen because that wouldn't have been fair to people that went to one night not the other to have different settlers so it was the same set list both nights but the set list. There's a lot on here that are songs that are expected just anytime you see Metallica the day day they opened up with the ecstasy of goal by Ennio Marconi which they open every show with and they went into call a Tulu which they opened the original. SM wealth so but they did what was interesting about this is there is one metallica song from every album. They've released on the set list that was that was kind of cool. All of their albums lot not like things like like Lulu which they did a collaboration. We don't talk about yet. We don't talk about that one but their albums there is at least one song for every metallica album on this that list which is really cool so for the most part with the GRANDPA Simpson yelling behind and for the most part. I love the set list. I I have no problem with it. There's one song where I think they could have substituted it for something else it just to me it it. It's not the best song confusion which is kind of a military kind of dealing with like PTSD type scene to it in the music video that goes with it as the similar It sounds okay with orchestra. I think they they could have caps that could have taught that and kept something like minus human or the devil dance and I think that would've worked just as well but that's just that's like my one complaint with the set lists confusions but the rest of it is awesome especially considering they were able to in some cases. Take some songs that I don't care for the album version all within my hands and they did kind kind of an acoustic version of it and the this version sound like it so much better than the album version it of course. I got to hear my song so happy I got. I got to hear twice. I really thought thought sites. I'm so glad that this was part of the settlers of like this is part of the set list. I'm okay with pretty much everything else so when they started started up no no leaf clover about lost my mind because that was one of the songs where it was part of the original Sim damn they don't do it. Live they started they started to obviously not with an orchestra but they had started adding to some other shows right before they before that leg of the tour ended they started throwing some stuff in there that they really didn't play because I think they were just trying to like get their chops around some of these songs that they knew were probably report of the set list but they had done in a while so it gave him an opportunity lady to get back into playing songs and singing the lyrics and all that so. I was ninety nine point nine percent sure that no leaf clover was going to be part of the settlers exponential actually started like yes finally. There's one of those songs like I'm never gonNA hear this. This is like one of my favorite songs and I'm never going to get here this live because it's one they don't do but because they did this twice. Yeah yeah that the symphony wive notably you couldn't make out a lot of that because of the crowd and then being closer you could hear him and you could see them. I'm Kinda feel it a little bit more in your stuff because there's a lot of the basic cones from cello and stuff would come through but I was so excited about the professional mix that'll be the movie. I think that that will sort of ripple is a lot of stuff. I what I was hearing is. The crowd was Laude and Rachel Nine to myth of this whole foods restaurant is like below whole foods before the second show and I. I'm not a very extroverted person but like I don't know I was like standing there watching her talking to Rachel and then like I looked over and there was these really comfortable chairs these other people sitting. There's one one I was like I kind of want to sit and act like myself. METALLICA teachers definitely would I looked over there a little closer and.

"But other than that we we didn't we didn't notable touristy stuff. you remember what my forge it. Was this this morning when I opened up the fortune cookie. Oh you have Chinese back bagful of for June cookies and win console eating on cracking up as the CIANCI cracker but when this morning and it happened to be all in Chinese so career from anybody knows Chinese wants to translate what CIANCI's fortunately I greatly appreciate. It was really a fortune teller arcade machines like Zola. I the only thing we did is when I was in in Chinatown. They came across a and a Confucius which is made by the same people make Zohar Ktar so if you watch Jacob carpetbagger anytime he goes anywhere in there is one of those fortune teller machines. He always tells them so it. It just happened that I made sure the ones on me because we did also go to the the the arcade. That's an old timey arcade where they have like old machines from like like earl. I think news is is probably the simpsons one so that would been like what the nineties going back to like. Turn of the century type like Penny Arcade where I are you sick penny or something and it's like a you know figures made out of wood and they're dancing like all the way up to some classic. Sake Arcade Games like Chauncey play the Simpsons Arcade game which apparently was really good at back today so oh yeah so when I pass his turn confucianists ISAF got fortunes those and then this the arcade had a number uh of similar type machines until I ran out of money out of change. I just kept getting fortunes added the it all collection of like my name's Rachel. I have an addiction to fortune telling machines. Apparently they called it was so creepy. Laughing was detriot eighty that you put a dollar to and she just like gyrates laps but it was like made a would look super creepy. She's like huge Shaikh. She's in this giant glass case but if you stuck around the ground probably taller in Chauncey this giant woman like this Polka dot address and she just laughs and laughs. Labs Lash lasts for like a minute straight so funny. I've got video. I'll have to put ended up on our facebook page. So people can see because I guess it was just it was hilarious. River arcade machinery like it's like we throw the ball in her mouth like like you're feeding or whatever the Bertha but of course the whole reason we were in San Francisco was because of Metallica and I knew I mentioned this when and it's really funny how this worked out. It was just one of those serendipitous things because we had did that episode all about Metallica way back in March before you before we went to the show and they came to indy and on that episode of the Podcast we've been we talked about the originalists. Them and we're like well. You know chance to go back in time I will go back to nineteen ninety nine experienced very first. Sem It that was kind of it and then we saw them here and then not long after that the chase center which is the new basketball arena there where the Golden State Warriors are GonNa play made. Did this big announcement. Say you know to kick off the grand opening of the Chase Center. We thought it was appropriate it to do it with a music music act. That's got ties to San Francisco and EH. There's Lars a say. You know essentially say yeah we're going to do s too 'cause it's also the twentieth anniversary of the first answers so they made that Ausman chauncey message sewage me. He's like I'm GonNa go is the Pope Catholic dog so they you know they announced it. You know put out the ticket details and essentially like okay. The show is GonNa be on Friday a September sixth and how it's GonNa work is we're going to send out codes to Metallica fan club members legacy members were people who paid for the fan club back when and it was you had to pay for it will there. They can access the sales starting like like nine. AM or something like that they get first crack and then non legacy members so people who joined after it was just freeze people like me they could use their code and tried to access and buy tickets like an hour later. Peter and then like an hour after that it's opened up to the the PA chase cardholders and then finally just the general public. mm got last crack at it so Santi got his code as a legacy member. I got a code for be just a a regular fan called bamber so sale comes around try his code. Nothing comes up. The thing is available like okay so try again with my code got through with my code bought. Just the first two tickets came up that were with an price range like I don't care where these are like. We just need these so we check them out. Yes exactly it's like don't don't think about it just hit by about those. Those ended up being like nose bleed like upper level of the arena like okay. That's fine. We're in the same room or going. It's all good so because they did this. First sale like traditionally. This is a lot of people do it. Through ticketmaster is fan club members will get first crack and then usually if there's a particular credit card tied to it usually chase served yet whatever they will get usually a a crack at it next general public so that's the way a lot of towers in like concerts or sold so but it just happened that a lot of tickets while the sale was going on tickets were already pretty showing up on resell sites like stub hub and like even the ticketmaster resale site four four way like double triple quadruple the face value of these tickets which aren't really sucked yeah yeah but it kissed a lot of people off. I E yeah yeah because it's like you're trying to buy tickets. It says everything sold out but then there's people that obviously bought those tickets are turning around trying to solve them for outrageous prices. So what what metallic ended up doing is adding a second show which I fully expected a second show to be added anyway because they had to do that with the first estimate because it was so popular so I was not surprised when they added a second show with a did for the second show is like okay. There's going to be second show now. The first shows Friday night next show is going to be Sunday night the eighth how we're GONNA do sales. This time is legacy members. Only enter your information. You'll log into your count. Enter this lottery and you may win a chance to by tickets so that put a little bit of a barrier in between the people that are just wanting to scall- so we're like well. I'm not a legacy member. Chauncey is so chauncey Whitney headed in entered the lottery an and thankfully got picked so when those went on sale once again I was I was available to be there right at sale time I'm so I could enter the information and be like you know hit the buttons to go to work and like the time to buy tickets. It's as you know right when you're right. When you have to be at work in Luckily Rachel's scalable yeah so I got in an managed managed to snag to tickets once again in the are designated price range more expensive than what we paid for the first set that but much better seats so our thought process was we could sell the first set even just for face value in that would help cover the cost of the a new study that being said the first set the second set were just electronic so those were tied to CIANCI's Metallica ticketmaster account essentially so those are a lot harder to get rid of because I've been actual physical ticket the first ones were actual physical tickets but they had mailing embargo on them so they did not ship them didn't they start shipping them until until August fifteenth which is how chew with bet two weeks before we were scheduled to leave they arrived the in what Friday before we were supposed to leave that Friday before Labor Day is why the daily arrived so at that point where like we could try you just sell these but we're not the holiday and everything it's not necessarily a chore that we could get the mail outs and time so we discussed it as like well we could keep on trying to sell them like on the street. Once there or we could go to both or rich you try to come up with you know different scenarios and finally CIANCI's like. Let's go to both like we go both okay. Let's go to both like okay. We'll go to both so we went to post so we we went The Friday night was the first night that was our nose bleed seats which for nosebleed they weren't that bad we were we were pretty high up up but we had a good view of everything because the way they set it up is they were in the center of the stadium and it was a round stage and they had Lars it his drum set set up in the middle a little high up on this Lake Lowell dice thing and then the orchestra was in a circle all the way around but position in a way that the conductor would stand in one spot and they could all see him still and Lars was always facing the conductor and throughout the show that stage slowly turned by the end of the show it made a complete rotation it was so weird 'cause like I knew the stage was moving moving but you never actually saw I never actually saw move like I'd be looking and like I look away and look up. Look again and suddenly they've rotated some okay so the fact was very certainly as far as the movement it was very subtle but it was kind of Nice being so high hi up the first time because you get that bird's eye view so we could see all of the stage and all of the orchestra and they set up multiple microphones around the stage so like the obviously lars is locked into place but the other three they can can wander which James does a lot. I felt bad for the filming crew because they were filming this. It's going to actually be released in theaters theaters. I was about to ask yeah so check your fathom. I don't know if it's can be fathom or what's It's supposed to be one night only but on October eighth but there's been some people said they're seeing on a different night so the whole one night only is I think it just depends on when the theater could probably get their hands on the the film in when they had an opening in their schedule would be my guess yes but it's very limited on how many times it's going to be in when it's going to be shown in the in the movie theater so but yeah in case move around so much. I felt bad for the people that were like with a steady campaign. Stop trying to like okay. Where's James going it just point the camera lars even he doesn't stay put drumming but drinks rum sticks in the audience and release to a DVD Blu Ray. If uh-huh niece they have us they have not said but that's I think that's pretty much given that we will get a CD of proper master you of the of the songs and then probably the movie will get released on DVD or Blu Ray visit so the sem live was that METALLICA DVD or CD. My Dad bought a yeah. I had a few other. This is a good yeah isn't it was cool to be able to see the production value some trouncing now. We're talking about on our way out there. We were talking about the production value and just how how much metallica was going to do because if you go see them..

"Their one of their best friends and then they ended up picking this guy named Jason for Michigan Battle Creek Michigan and Jason went with them to join and there's a few watch the vh one behind us you hear him say. Oh Yeah we were at army's joined the place we used to hang out and the montage clips of the actual Wasserman and then he says him in wars went to the bathroom and use the earls together gather up the Thomas joining bathroom and actually took a picture of the dueling urinals up there because a hole in the wall restroom corresponding and then anyway they went back and told Jason that he was in the band of fairly concerted jumping around the cross is the only get out of this guy is right after that they immediately started their first Japanese tour ever so like this was sort of a launch pad for metallica being a relatively domestic California thrash band and and you know to earning the little bit United States to become an international metal act and Tommy's Jill kind of like right one one of the springboards when they really started a launch this is right after master of puppets made it all which she came out which is an album that came out team five thanks eighty four. Let's and then you didn't do really a whole lot more terse. I would have liked to have been able to do a bit more touristy. I see things but just time just did not permit but we did. we also spent a day at at's fisherman's warf which is really the Mecca of all the touristy stuff and we went to the Madame Toussaud's woods there which that one's okay. I've only been to the other one in Las Vegas and I have Bruno. Remember it being bigger. This one seemed kind of small wait. What was the song that we got off the elevator. At the at the Madame Madame Toussaud's at I remember we saw Robin Williams yeah next museum at her under what was to sand friends. It's very San Francisco theme. That's that's the they would be the empty so say they will have sections that are themed to wherever that one is located so like if you went to one like the one in like Gatlinburg or pigeon forge or something like that they've got a lot of country music artists in this case they had like like musicians or reported the Hippie era so they had like Jimi Hendrix and Jerry Garcia and they had some notable. San Francisco people like the gentleman I like Chinese or someone of Asian descent mayor of San Francisco Harvey Milk who is a notable part of San Francisco history then they have your usual like collection of celebrities news letter pretty much everyone like beyond saying Lady Gaga and you're you're like you're Johnny Depp's and some others like that so but for some the reason this one just seems smaller than the one the Las Vegas which that may be the case or maybe I'm just remembering I duNno. It's been over ten years since I went to the one Las Vegas so I've been to the one in New York. Yeah pretty cool. You have to wonder why METALLICA METALLICA is not in there as a San Francisco based musician started petition. Does you need to out but we didn't necessarily want to do that just because they are all over the place what I really wanted to do was the San Francisco Dungeon but they were offering had an offer so essentially if you've got tickets for the dungeon you got to get Dante so as for like five bucks and we had some time to kill so figure stomach never been museum house like Yeah Yeah. They're they're weird. It is kind of it is kind of weird. Is it kind of eerie how well they get the the celebrities to look correctly so there's a bit of Uncanny valley there. I do think this videos of I actually be at one of the axioms like they will stand perfectly still in the scary people so again it would have been very but San Francisco Dungeon engine is really what I wanted to do and that was a lot of fun. If you want to get an idea of what it's likes aches Jacob the carpet bagger has been there recently. He's got video and then Tim Tim Tracker has been there earlier this year too and he's got a good because normally they don't allow video in the San Francisco Dungeon but meet special cases for promotional things. I guess but it's this whole it takes like an hour but this is whole interactive active experience where it takes you through the history. Some of the history of the early days of San Francisco from the late eighteen hundreds the early nineteen hundreds and it teaches you about like like bootlegging plaguing like speaking fees and the early days of Alcatraz has and It's hard to explain. It's really something you just have to experience. It's it's not a haunted house. Although there are are some elements that you would see in a haunted house like some Strobe Lights some some scary moments. There's lots lots of different special effects like the production value on this is just really high and it's way more evolved than what even I realized based off of seeing videos from people who'd been there. The finale is kind of out. 'cause it's like this production. Dutch values like it's so great and they almost got themselves into coroner. Like what do we do for a grand finale like We'll do this thing and it. It doesn't quite live up to everything you've experienced the fifty five minutes before and but overall it's it's it was superfund superfund it give you actual like history mixed with these these characters that they've they've made up some of them and the you know they'll tell you things but then also show things and then sometimes they'll pull people out of the crew. The participants like Chauncey got kicked the door open for me in a chair and they had Rachel hold the door open is funny as the lady like real like like a kind of like drill Sergeant Mike and Mike Bossy and then reach everybody in the room she gets up on stage like awkward pause and she's like everyone in the room like Dylan. Rachel the door then pulled me up on stage and the chair was supposed supposed to be like a like a torture chair lift like an electric chair and I go hey that's my favorite album because there is a bunch of Metallica fans in the in with us and they all started urge chuckling just a just a metallic because it was the right lightning elden government but as she was explaining. I don't know what that was all about some of your favorite torture devices why would she why would torturing anybody like what was that supposed to be like the mafia yeah okay yeah part of like the San Francisco Mafia so they get information. Yes screamed a few things like that. You're gales yeah. You don't need them. We use a court we we had that fake trial yeah and everybody's guilty regardless. Nolan snowed angelman lay. Some of the actors were bad or I think we're better than others. The guy playing the judge he was truth to it so that that's cool. It is right next to the dam to soad's so so you can do say offer accommodation ticket. He wants to do both though like mme. She says we got through through it in like thirty minutes or something like that slightly over thirty minutes because it was so small than this the San Francisco Dungeon is it's like on the every half hour and it takes a flower to do so that it was really cool and then we did not get to Alcatraz proper because we waited too long and all the tours for sold out for the time we're going to be there so what we did do instead and this is something that you did last time he was in. San Francisco is there are boats votes and boat captains who are for hire for like private fishing excursions so you can hire them out for half day full day and they'll take you out until you the best fishing spots and whatever is available in the waters off the coast of San Francisco but if they're not doing these private fishing tours were they do is they'll hang out on the dock and and they'll alternates like every hour one of the boats go in what they do is they just fill up the boat as as much as they can safely with people in for like fifteen dollars a person they will take you on a essentially tore more of the bay and the Gig talk over like the speaker system and tell you about the the different landmarks and like you know during the earthquake and fires in the early nineteen hundreds like this section here completely collapsed and was just diet mudslide they end up taking you underneath the Golden Gate Bridge and then loops back around and goes past Alcatraz so I did get to see Alcatraz kind of close the I don't know why am fascinated with wanting to go to Alcatraz but I really. This is the second time we've been to San Francisco not able to go to attract asking me like crazy during Alcatraz. I feel bad that we didn't tour tickets. I didn't realize how well it was right after holiday so and the city was just Oh. I think it's just a swarm of black. T. shirts awesome metallica anytime we got anywhere outside of the neighborhood to shit where there was any resemblance of a population of people metallica's metallica shirts out everywhere her. I'm sure you probably see a good handful. Eddie other time of year just because there's Metallica fans everywhere answer per. Cisco is their Home City. That's where they're based but I think this was an excess of metallica shirts. You're just walking around but the tour we did do was really fun. there was a bit chilly but besides that it was really cool to to see the the bay from that angle to be able to see like the the Golden Gate Bridge from underneath at the C. Alcatraz from the the outside so that was that was that was a nice car. Yeah I got cecile which is really what I wanted to see. See all that may be very happy. the that's all we really did is first touristy stuff like we did. We did those things I did want her to Chinatown for a little bit but other than going to the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory I didn't really do much other than just kind of Wander Chinatown and admire all the colors and the the Scottish displays and they've got some really cool murals on the sides of buildings you'd be walking and they turned the corner but like Oh Jackie Chan like Bruce Lee a giant dragon on the sides of buildings so but other than that we we didn't we didn't notable touristy stuff..

"Equipped with all that early been in the DVD's that release individually say a lot of stuff at the ARATU content in have most of them on DVD. I definitely wouldn't mind in the same upgrade on that one it. Would it be cool if I would totally buy a DVD set ahead none of the the episodes but just like all especially if you trump's like totally get that for if if you could just get the special features because you're already owned actual yeah stories themselves like I don't need to necessarily double up but really ours on Blu Ray player so it's a moot point with me they get one eventually a great relief but there's pictures of it on the release it looks it looks pretty. It looks pretty and once again they did a little by mini movie trailer trailer thing with Sophie aldred and it's adorable to see her. You know and see kind of ACE's up to so the club with those I love him. Yeah they just such a good job with adding but yeah it'll have battlefield go slight cursive. Rick and survival which you can listen to view battlefield and then listen to talk about field. I mean if you love the Gregogna love the seventh actor as this this year now. It's it's good. It's a good story well. It is the brigadier so yes sir. You can't go wrong with a breaking story. That's it for the though do you have a little bit of feedback though throngs Chatelaine kind of continuing our discussion of things that have been filmed in Utah such a list the the only things that have been filmed in Utah and of course these can be like the whole thing or just bits of it because you know how movies aren't they can call all over the place so apparently footloose the San Law it's bunch of Westerns which that would make sense it desert in the mountains and stuff giving west of movies in the West on state yeah imagine that of course an episode of Doctor. WHO Bessie auto no no visit Kristie that we all need to go visit lakes clint. CEO The yeah and and chalet and said that she also likes to what she figures out some places. He's been filled. She likes to come visit which I would totally do that too so she said she did that when she went to the east coast when they went to New York and Washington. DC which way more there uh-huh them. I think CIANCI added now Russia. We're doing like you brought like blanket and pillow on the air. I'm like you're not gonNA stay here and there was no chair in there are kitchen chairs just hurt my back even like I go sit on the couch and yeah. He says he heard himself at work really. He's just recovering trump last week. There wasn't a massing. Actually there was no bashing so yeah so for our main topic weak- chocolate. I thought that we would reminisce and share about our adventures. There's in San Francisco. We went to San Francisco to go see Metallica what else we did do some other things which we can we can touch on real quick before we get to the meat while everybody really went hear about so the assay we went. S- we stayed a Wednesday to Tuesday right after Labor Day and we stated airbnb in the neighborhoods of Protrero Hill which is kind of east side aid of San Francisco so it was less than twenty minutes away from the Chase Center which is why I picked it because I wanted to be as close to the venue as feasibly possible well there was nice it was it was not anything extravagant. There was a studio apartment essentially so it was just one big open room other the bathroom airman closet but we had a a sink and a hot plate it almost like a like class top so it's almost like a the top half of electric stove feet beat the coffee grinder in the cabinet in laws digging around actually found marijuana edibles in the air be like okay. It's legal in California. Don't you drugs kids in general general unless they're legal in that case still use them wisely. I don't want the doors. Here's a here's a welcome. It's San Francisco. A marijuana is perfectly legal in the state of California and people do take advantage of it so it's not my thing. I don't have a problem with other people. WanNa do it. Just do it. Wisely now but AIRBNB was nice we we had a queen size bed ed and little seating area to sit in a little love zeke couch. The bathroom was nice. The pulse is shower so AIRBNB. Israel's they are yeah I mean it was expensive. Just because San Francisco's stupid expensive expensive was still cheaper than staying at a hotel and get nicer amenities so and it was easy to get places to walk which we did a few times times but my calves are just now forgiving me. This Abraham puts the hill in Protrero Hill it. It is steep yeah. Nothing like walking around the neighborhood a few times for me to realize lice just have shaped by actually otherwise we relied on lifts which was also also really good. That's good that lift in Newburgh very prevalent there and I think a good number of our lift drivers were locals either natives people that live there long enough that they were they knew their way round which was nice because otherwise traffic in the more heavy heavy dense areas like when you get into actual city traffic can be kind of nut so and I would not wanNA drive that in in an unfamiliar city so so much nicer to have someone that you showed up from Boulder Creek. She lives was out in the redwoods and she drove us around her lift at three and on our way to the airport to go home. He said that that she just really running stuff anyway. So it's kind of a good call. Look is than the traffic is not so bad yeah because they were a few times where we were in more where there was more traffic and people laying on the horn and you know annoyed with each other like alrighty so here's a tip for you go to. San Francisco be prepared to walk or have smells. Have someone else drive you unless you're going lake out of the city like you're. GonNa drive across into like Oakland or down to Boulder Creek or you know Sausalito or something like that then yeah. You probably went to like rent a car but if you're just staying within a small radius semester I feel we should talk about his. That's where we might like basically the first time we were able to go out. What would the Tommy's joint like one of the first yeah yeah so yeah food. Of course we did eat our AIRBNB. We did go get groceries so we did try to eat there. You're as much as possible but yeah we did do one meal. the Thursday night there is a bunch of Metallica fans that got together at Tommy's joint which in itself is a San Francisco Establishment. It's a like a they. Don't want to say Deli but it's old. I think the Jewish restaurant maybe I'm not entirely sure you're right. I'm not completely up on the anyway. It's just old. It's been around for forever from the outside it doesn't it looks kind of crazy because he outside like crazy. It painted like these crazy looking murals in on the inside it kind of looks like maybe like a dive bar and like a Jewish Deli got together earlier and had a baby so because like on one side is just huge bar initials would stark and there's like stuff hanging off the ceilings all crazy things and then on one side. It's like a cafeteria type thing where you describe it. Trey new tell them what you want and they serve it to you and then it's it's advertised outside that they have sandwiches and cocktails yeah but we ate there actually last time we were in. San Francisco we happen to be in the neighborhood and thought it looked good so we actually stopped and ate there last time so we knew kind of what we ran for as far as the layouts and the food and everything but in between our last this visit chauncey stumbled across the fact that this location actually has ties to history metallica history first time we were there. I was just like Oh. This is like a place that was on drivers Dine Ins and dives. This is really cool place days and then you go in. It's amazing. I mean it's like this sixties. Adelaide just basically put antiques and Ratnam. Stop over everything. It's like a cafeteria because you just pick. Could you want or go to the bar and get what you want and it's just a big party and you know we ate there and enjoyed it and then when I was reading reading about METALLICA history in San Francisco I was like I've heard all about this and I didn't realize that the METALLICA stuff I had heard about about Tommy's joint so yeah like I went back while we were there and read read up on the stuff. I thought I remembered as yet and Metallica doc bands that were there. They were all excited. 'cause you know the symphony and Metallica to concert was coming up in the next night and there was a woman there from moms of metallic and the actual name of the club but it's like a like a the San Francisco chapter after Telecom Moms I think is what it's called and she was given out your car picks different shows and set list that she had photocopied lead. Rachel actually found the settlers from the show that she and I I went to when we were we were dating two thousand eight uh-huh Columbus Ohio. It was fun to hang out with some metallic. METALLICA fans and they were playing like nothing but metallica over the sound system and the restaurant. Everybody was decked out in the metallic. They ended ended up leading the group. takeover the second floor essentially and habits ourselves so we can chat and talk about you know metallica music. which show were you going to wear you sitting? What do you say you know. What do you think settlers cutlets is going to be like so that was pretty awesome and then the food food is so good I had corn beef and this was just you didn't even have to chew it. It was yeah so so good I kept eating it and all I had like a side of mashed potatoes the they they make their and and baked beans and Sarah Sour Dough bread and I was just I was eating and eating lots of US getting full and probably could should stop but I kept putting bites accord beef and my mouth is like this is all good yeah like me as home-cooked cafeteria style food like that like here in Indianapolis. We have a place called gray brothers and they just have like the most. It's amazing will cook meals arch appears. It's like a Jewish Deli joke around about gray brothers like yeah. The pies are so so good there. I swear they have like three. Oh lady came to a table making pies audio reading their taste like it's like grandma used to make yeah I mean join basically origins with learn me or grieving and roll and mashed `tatoes since a drilling just thinking about it trait on these joint stunt driver dives US thing so if you wanna I know more about it I would just look it up on triple enjoying stella video wine. It's got the PSYCHEDELIC Latino Gene Logo and any murals on the outside looking straight into the sixties and I'm sure it's been there for you know a lot longer than that back but it's it is a staple anyway with metallica history though they in the late eighty s on editor replaced a a flair because I neither I but they're kind of their main bass player cliff burn when they wrote the first three albums while the first reached the second to albums with he passed away in a bus accident in Sweden than metallica basically basically instantly came back to states started auditioning basis while they were you know going through all the stress and grief losing.

"Awards for best supporting actress for my Hawk and best streaming horror and Thriller Series Star Trek Discovery One for a couple colluding best actress and best actor in in a streaming series and streaming fantasies. I Fire Action Thriller Television Series Walking Dead One a few but I don't watch walking dead although it was interesting because Jeffrey Dean Morgan won for Best Guest starring performance intelligence series for his role is needed on the walking dead. I know that much and he was not there to to accept the ward so you filmed a little something off and they showed that and he he's like sorry. I couldn't be there in the middle of something that Vampires Zombie Vampires or some something but Meighan she's filming for supernatural and thinking he might be coming back again because of the final season did surprise trying to bring as many people oh back yelling trying to make more NASC- nights with Mark Scheffer to get him back as carly yeah I I think in the sky's the limit with the last season was like yes pretty sure you're not coming. Have you back on the walking dead so thing for Superman since making sure that they are staying out of trouble Patricia these people's names of people from outlander could never overprotection means properly Sam Hugh Geoghegan won for best actor in a television series for outlander best streaming Superhero television series with Marvel's daredevil it was I I'm not sure exactly the WHO. The two guys were Vincent. Denial was also there with of but the the two guys I don't like the producers or whatever mark and the guy that went to the microphone to start speaking. I was like Oh you know this is exciting. The show needs a home. Yes it does long with all the other marvel on the lake. The main cash while show showed sitting in like a little Fox like like Whibley kittens free to good home free but like we're Carl gave us a home so there's that so and then the emmy awards are this coming weekend so so essentially award season has started again swear we just did the Oscars say persona was recalled the case. If I remember that on our actually watch it on your lawn type too busy watching other things so there's that and James Gone did dissipate of a tease and released essentially a sheet image with the names of the people that are going to be in his suicide squad awed reboot soft reboot depends on who you ask. I've seen everywhere from a soft reboot to a hard reboot but considering that some returning turning characteristics in the first suicide squad. I think it's going to be a softer reboot so we've got margot. Robbie is GonNa Return as Harley Quinn Chai Courtney's can return as Captain Boomerang which I actually really likes Captain Boomerang in suicide squad so glad lacked a little bit. I still only three quarters of that movie actually finish it beginning. I finally saw off for the basic. I think so reliant on movies yeah well. I mean they will it'd be it. Let's you're a d fan to begin with. It's like the none of them. Were really like. Come Watch me right away of wonder woman so ooh Viola Davis can return as Amanda Waller and Joel Kidman is GonNa Return this flag and then a bunch of new faces new to the franchise not new faces in General People like John Sina China are going to be Nathan Fillion Sean Gunn which is not surprised because James Gunn puts his brother everything Pete Davidson if anybody watches surname live Taika Waititi is compete in it Inter Salva is gonNA is GonNa be in it Michael Rooker who is BFF's with James Gunn so again not a surprise and Peter Cataldi is GonNa be in the new suicide squad which probably makes more sense now. If you've seen pictures of recent con Peter was at each shaved. His head on the municipal salt-and-pepper in pepper hair is gone and he said it was her role but didn't say what so I would guess that this whoever he's playing 'cause Peterka Paul de tap to shape shapes doesn't shame but you don't know besides like the reprise role is we don't know who anyone's GonNa be yet even exactly and and the James Gunn has said that most of the guests is out there are wrong so and he does not know when they're going to release any sort of like character sheets or character descriptions or anything because the movie's not do Agile Twenty twenty one so it's going to be well thing. It's funny like this caught. A few names here been in all directed. MCC movies yeah. I have to wait until two thousand twenty. One and seat retired finally wants to last all the false the I I know it's not GonNa technically a sequel though I see and then because can't get enough good omens wins is file we finally have a release date for the DVD BLU ray and it's also I should get really since steel book format which I'm not a person. I know some people are. I don't know why the other than the packaging is prettier why shoes choose attest to that because the only steel book I has was or is the season for four of doctor who with Dave Attendant Catherine Days that Eddie coverage was the only option I had at best buy. This is definitely something that I want to own it just format of some sort some but it's yeah because I know that it it had been delayed because they were working on some of the special features about that yeah yeah so it's going to be released in some countries we were discussing this before we start recording but twentieth of October is what I have written down but it does not say whether that's US UK whatever I'm assuming that's GonNa be UK 'cause according to Amazon because I haven't pre-ordered that and other sites the release in us is November fit okay. Let's it's like a week. I think but there's going to be storyboards for deleted seed. It's a concept are costume design nine a compilation apparently of Queen Music visual fans and what I I think we're all excited for is the audio commentary he knew. I really really what everyone has to say. How much of this is actually lived through this well. If you've got the script book you can see but still like you can only get so much. The twitter gave very good about trying to answer questions which really doing so many characters. Each game is at least one of of them. Oh Yeah I'm sure I am absolutely sure and then a also you can add your collection is the next Blu ray collection for classic doctor. Who In this case is this. This could be seasoned twenty-six which is essentially the end of doctors so at GonNa be released twenty December. That's for the UK say it just says coming soon to US Australia so but that's going to have some restored stored extended cuts the VHS version of curse offen- rick The cursor Fendrick DVD special edition a VHS extended version battlefield a DVD special edition battlefield they're gonNA do surround sound announce behind the sofa with Sylvester McCoy's so if y'all dread plus some other a a former companions and some writers a the kind of a documentary looking at the life of Janis Attorney. It should be interesting. I read the unauthorized biography in Lieu FTA INTERESTING ZIP it says contributors include Peter Davison Colin Baker which is interesting considering Colin Baker. Johnathan Turner's relationship was supposedly not that what happened after like movie made up or this could be not a non clip but get a glimpse. I duNNo. Maybe there's a documentary about making the cursive. Henrik a chat with sociology. The writer's room writers discussed their work on season twice six becoming the destroyer..

I just went to San Francisco to elegant. What else can we want this week's episode of the podcast dress like during the ritual table. Is this week. This is Brittany in Bethlehem this society from Wisconsin. This is Rachel in Indianapolis Indiana Lulu. I be duly my on screen right now that I gotta start of a gold little hot what they're yelling and screaming and singing along with you guys before we started recording. I feel like still on California timers trump triology excitement in the travel and the all that fun stuff take a little bit recover but we'll talk about that shortly doc. I really do get back into the swing of things so I up the new Disney. Meat is the Saturday actually as regarding this role and is lose. All the states have a goal wasn't to me sleep at our defense and so they are free but regardless of whether you can attend or not the charity auction is now often live and you can bid on things of you got to use the online format regardless of whether you're tending or not it's just you you know if you're not attending any wins something you're after pay for shipping unless your local and you just can't head for some reason but if you're attending you still have two bit online. You just don't have to bother to pay for shipping. You could just take right there in the air so but there's a large number of items to you bit on different things probe bags vacations to all sorts of things in between not everything the thing is. Disney related but that's okay so there's a little bit everything for everybody and of course everything all the money raised through the auction goes to give kids the world so but if you go to the facebook page there are instructions on how to use oxygen and so you can take a look at all listings. You know if you're attending you can be like Oh. You're all wanted to take a look at that because everything will be available for you to look at in inspect and that sort of thing at good so that's exciting ours like I always like seeing what people come up with for donations for the OX auctioned. Would you know especially if something like new has opened at one of the Disney parks or new hotel is opened bend or something because there's almost always something that somebody's managed to get their hands on from the new thing and I know at quick glance service like A. I'm not sure exactly what it is. Looks like maybe like a cup like bar center something from Oguz canteen a AH galaxy edge so so yeah there's lots of people who are on it as far as yeah what's the latest and greatest kind of fun to see what people come up with in debt and then the Saturn awards were the other day or the weekend and it's they actually streamed that watch it live online which was kind of fun. I missed the first hour I didn't realize this but I jump on and watched it through the end. Though it's interesting how they do their particular ceremony because it's like they have but then they also had like a talking like head that also did some introductions and then they would doubts awards and like giveaway wars. Sometimes people were there like it traditionally silence. Sometimes it was a video of someone saying and here are the nominees from this category and kissed so keep things I difference I guess slightly different than your traditional award ceremony I guess so some of the notable winters in film ventures and game one and several awards including best comic to motion picture release actor in a.
