Facial Recognition in Law Enforcement

"One month before the new york times published. The story of robert williamson. Police officers killed. George floyd we all remember the weeks that followed the protests that broke up around. The country garnered tension around the world. It was so engrossing watching those scenes of civil strife that an otherwise remarkable part of the story went almost entirely on the radar in fifteen cities is the department of homeland. Security deployed planes helicopters and drums to watch over the protesters. The aircraft hovered over protesters in new york philadelphia. Detroit feeding customs and border patrol man centers which streamed the intel to police forces and national guard on the ground in minneapolis and the a secret rc. Twenty-six be reconnaissance. Blaine worked with ops on the ground streaming video feeds to an fbi command center in another instance in the top spending in the ficials ordered helicopters to provide quote persistent presence to disperse crowds. He helicopters flew so low to the ground that the sheer downward pressure from their rotor. Blades ripped the signs off of billions. And of course since protesters running this was something out of science fiction full on military intelligence operation on. Us land in later reporting military and government officials insisted that none of the aircraft deployed on protesters were equipped with fisher recognition capabilities in most cases. The aircraft were so high up that facial recognition would be moot. You can't make out face from a blip from nineteen thousand feet but even if some planes flew close enough to capture individual faces be problematic according to the new york times at least two hundred and seventy hours of protests footage was captured by the aircraft and uploaded to big pipe. Dhs network which can be accessed by other law enforcement agencies around the country for future investigations. Video in big pipe can be stored for up to five years. One potential concern then. Is that if a plane recorded. Good enough video. It wouldn't need real time fisher. Recognition on board an agency like the fbi could access that footage weeks or months later to identify individual protesters. It's entirely possible that this hasn't and won't happen but around the country police have already utilized facial recognition to identify and in some cases arrest individual. Blm protesters the extent of it is unknown. Police have no obligation to report on the run. Your face through a machine or concerns me is there's currently no limits at all none at all and so they can also use it to take a look at everybody who is in a peaceful protest of some sort And then take down their names and Hassle him or arrest them or give them trouble in one way or another or simply file them in a database as person of interest. "Go to Katie in hicksville. Katie you're on the fan. Hey, Tony doing this. Thank you man hanging. How you doing? Mets win got me feeling all the way. But I'll first foremost just wanna speak about what you're speaking about before. With Jerry's familiar because that'll keep on throwing him out there man at the end, the he's he's the type of pitcher that I remember when you give them like a two day rest or one day rest. He comes out even more horrible than what he's pitching right now. And then, you know, it's the best thing with and he's like a rubber arm. Just throw them out every game. And I'm as other call, you know, Rigo as those 'cause he's a bridge to the L. So that's that's the best. We can do on that one. Say if they're going to keep Vargas in the rotation then you're going to keep him in the eighth inning. And he's not he's not he's not that bad compared to Vargas. Vargas, Vargas, horrible. But you know, what the thing was mortgage while I was reading they didn't they didn't pitch them on the Lord of the rest of the row. Right. Bus eleven days in between. Why are they doing around with the guy? Then if they know the guy needs to be a third in motion, I guess, you know, put him on his rest, right? Like that would make sense. I'm hoping they're doing now. But I don't know if you've read the article, they're again, they're gonna they're gonna they're gonna skip his again, I think so I don't know what they're really doing with more on that. I think he's gonna get to bullpen sessions. I'm like you guys. I mean, if he you get rid of them or you use them the way you're supposed to. Yeah. That'd be with the with the message. It's always gonna be, you know, a little bit of question marks here when it comes to like put player personnel. The make what really quick make one point because you were talking about something with this goes back right now you said maybe we'll is heels clicking and he'll be come back to all play on. But the it's actually a great problem to have if if what you're scenario that you're putting the case, you know, the mess, and if he comes back, I mean this awesome. It's might just be like ridiculous. I mean, you know, like what you said allows hitting everyone else sitting. I mean, it's a good problem to have. I'm hoping found that we have. And if it's a problem that we do have at that moment. I think I think what's his name with the guy's name. Oh my God. In a blank, the left-hander. He has to meal Neil knows the name. It's on the left hand was hitting the full underlying. Neil. Oh my God. I had a part. Meal. Mcneil needs to be playing third base yet to shot that he made for the Puffer nominal place, as you know, tough razor can't be Canada vagus and are not I don't like the guy. He's he's not a good backup catcher. You know? They got they got a lot of things to think about man. Thank you for your time. But you know, what is in pleasant things. But it seems dimensions make it difficult. You know, it's. You know, the meant that they would bring a guy from the mind is just to be for the week. And he goes five for five. Most people are going to be like, I think we'll keep it for a while meant to be like, okay. Thank you. We'll see later. He's wait. Wait, wait. Send them back down. Playing goes oh five balancing out. Good Jason and JV. Jason you're on the fan. Hey, Tony love yourself taking my call. Thanks, man. What's going on? I wanna make Yankees point. Now, the watching I know everybody keeps saying early. But I watched the Yankees they had four pitching. They don't have finally hitting are making a lot of air. There's no sense of urgency. I want to know if you think the ANC he's if he I two weeks if the fine things to come or if they're going to turn it around now, usually I don't get too invested in early even standing, but right now, I'm not getting a good feeling, and I don't really see the burning until you get guys like Aaron Hicks back down. Hopefully Didi comes back got in on on the I L deploy the Anki had a chance to come back. Or if you think think the come. Thank you. Tony sure, I think they've got ten it's still early. If this was game. This was the halfway point in the season. And you still gotta wait another month for guys come back. Then you know, it's it's a wash. But I think they're going to come and gypsum grant. We know dis coming little later, we know stands come in relatively soon. You know, you don't know if you get Severino back. You don't know if you're getting into our back. I it's you know, forget about ellsbury doesn't count Hicks. When is he come back memory was just going to be a back problem? It's not going to be a big not going to be a big deal. And this is a big deal. Back in this town. We know what is a big deal. But going again going back to what Boone said. You can't do anything about the guys on here. But the guys that are here they're not doing their job. And it's dead in the water. And the biggest problem is is you know, the pitching. I mean, it's we talked about this over and over and over that the pitches starters can't give you length. So you're bringing this these expensive bullpens and eventually the bullpen gets tired. So if the starter's can't go long in the bullpen gets tired. That's the recipe with disaster. What are you going to say? Well, if the starter's can just give us four, you know, I'll have Gino Chad green pitch five and six, and we'll Batanes isn't back yet. So we'll we'll that on a veto seven and eight and it will stay he'll still say saved Chapman for nine though. He could pick for. Go for four outs. If we have to. Does it work, especially when you know, you've told you? If you're a pitcher on the or any team, and they tell you you're the seventh inning guy. You know, what you have to do to get ready if you're fishing in the seventh inning. Maybe you sitting in the clubhouse. On the dugout. I two innings then you go out to the bullpen. Maybe by the fifth inning. You start doing some stretching by the seventh inning. They tell you tell you. We all bring you into the seven. And then you just amp up your regiment. I mean, whatever you whatever you protocol is for every game that you're gonna pitch you do it. But all of a sudden, you tell the guy will look I know you the seventh inning guy, but I need you to fix the sixth and seventh inning. Now. The ball is gonna go. Okay. Anything for the team? Right. You always hear that. And then he does six and he does okay and seventy gets gets lit up. You just know he's he's good for one inning. Everybody's good for winning. You know, you're not you're not these seventh and eighth inning guy. You're not the fifth and sixth inning guy. You're not the eighth and ninth inning. Got. Everybody gets in any everybody gets a cleaning. When the starter starts unraveling gives up a couple of hits and a walk. You know, they bring in one of the guys who doesn't have a designated inning. And that's when you know, you're trying to teach guys do something. They haven't been trained to do. Mike, I said if you have a closer that can give you four can get you four outs on a regular basis, not every single time out. But let's say. Once a week. Maybe once every couple of couple of weeks, he can go that you know, he can give you four outs. Then when you get to the postseason or you get too late in September. And you need these wins. He's not. In foreign territory. He knows what he has to do. If he's. If he's used to it. It's not a big deal. He knows what he has to do to get ready. If he's not he's gonna fake it and something's gonna go wrong. Something go wrong, and I would just Yankee series with the Red Sox ended the Red Sox..

"That was saying if that's starting rotation states, healthy, right? You know, that's the one thing that they've had a hard time doing. But I think offensively they improved. You have professional hitters in canal. Jed Lowrie, you have some some guys that you could move around. And they shirt up the back end of their Bolton. Now familiar DS have to have a really good year for them. But that's the one thing, you know, through the last ten years, even when they were good. I'm not so sure they had a lockdown eighth inning guy lockdown ninth-inning guy. Now, they have it even how good is the I don't I don't remember watching the as at all I talked to him this spring. His numbers are outrageous. I have you know, you you worked against them for years you walked out there. You had the games with them. Was he that good? He's he's really good. You know, sometimes you feel like he falls into a little command issue, but David Robertson could do that. Dylan Batanes could do that. He's got swinging this stuff. He's a slide. Right. He's going to get you with a slider. Right. He's really really good. And he's got velocity too. So he's really really good. We're guys have to cheat a little bit wider will expose a lot of hitter. So I really like what they've done to this team. I like what they've done to their bullpen where they put experience at the back end of they're not asking kids to do it. Now, you can move the other guys that were at the back end last year. And now you have a much deeper bullpen and those guys who were doing it last year multiple any guys which I think helps us well it helps save the the rotation a little bit. And I like what they've done. I I'm curious to see how they're going to do because I think there are player, and I'll tell you I think Rahm most makes a big difference. I fully always kill the Mets when he was in Washington. Secondly, he's he's always reminded me of being every time. I see him. I think of a really good baseball player who's kind of underrated. That's a good catch. And solid guy. I think he's going to be a big difference maker for them. Well, he can really hit. And when you think about the Mets, they're pretty left-handed dominant. When you start talking about or best hitters, and he's that right handed guy that kind of separates people. And I look for Conforto to have a good year. Are you a Conforto guy? You guys, you know, Keith on. And there's always raves about him says he's going to be a great hitter. Everyone's waited for him. He's been little streak easement a little up and down. He had a great September. Last year, hit ten home isn't thirty arby's in September. You know, he hit twenty eight home is a lot of guys have him as their breakthrough guy this year that he's going to be the guy who really becomes a star this year. I think so because when you have the injuries that he had I believe he had labrum. I think it takes the year that you sit out and another year that you go through before you're at full health. I think it's a two year injury. And I think they come back. Yeah. You know, what it's healed? But I still think they're strength issues. I think there's a lot of things that you go through when I hear hitter the terrorists has, you know, the labor them that's his front, you know, his frontside. It scares me to death. And I always believed that it's a two year. And I think that's partly what Greg bird has went through as well. That I think he's going to be a much surprise. He's been great this spring. They said Boone said he's been the guy. We always heard he was going to be the guy who could bat third and this lineup. He came in almost like he couldn't lose and and bird got lucky that Hicks got hurt. But he now has almost got him on equal terms. The way he's been swinging the bat, I'm not shocked at all. I believe that he was going to struggle. He had missed a lot of time with injuries. And then I think a shoulder had healed. But then all of a sudden he had the ankle injury. He didn't have it that this guy. That's probably missed a thousand at bats over the last three years. So I still think the kids really gonna hit he's got his chance. Now, we're talking Joe Giradi. Joe you told me that Torres was one of the more talented young guys, you would seem. So you're telling me that. So he turned out to be as good as everybody expected. Avon was in last week. And didn't like him going second short on day after day with two Lewinsky playing them switching back and forth. He didn't think it's an issue. I mean, Boone said he's been great about. It hasn't been an issue. Everyone said I don't I wouldn't want to do it. I didn't like it. I wouldn't have liked it. You think that's an issue at all? You think it'd be something he can handle? I think it's it's the player what the player some players get locked into what they're doing. It. Only wanna do you want to remember glacier was playing shortstop really most of the time until it came up last year. And he was the second basement. So I think we're him to bounce back and forth. It's probably not a big deal. But if he had been a second for five or six years and then start trying to bounce back and forth. I think it would have been much more difficult. Do you have to do more stuff with him in terms of scouting reports and stuff that he'll play second one day? And then the same series play short the next day. I think you just have to make sure that he gets ground balls on both sides every day. So he's gonna have to take maybe a few more ground balls where he might take twenty five at one spot. Maybe he takes fifteen at each spot every day to make sure that that you know, if something happens to to low he has to balance over there right away. He survived that he's comfortable, especially when they go to do feel. He's gotta take ground balls on both sides right away the first day. How do you feel about the Yankee rotation right now? No Severino to start. They'll use. Remond and game four bring Tanaka back in five then Pichler wise again game six they'll use those guys as their starters, all guys. You're very familiar with you got a pack, and you got have you got obviously Tanaka, and here's what we learned about Tanaka is that he's a good big game pitcher when he when he wants to pitch in the playoffs. He's there. I mean, he's pitched great in the playoffs of the Yankees. Yes. Yes. He has. You know, I think a rotation is going to be fine. I think their schedule is going to help them tremendously. What you know? And I expect them to get off to a Orioles and Tigers early and Kansas City and. Even with all the injuries that they have you put my paper, they're going to be better than most teams I on a daily basis when they go out there. So I I think in the long run, it might help them, you know, might help savvy that that he misses the first first month and doesn't throw two hundred innings and what they get to the playoffs. He's really really fresh in dominant. So these injuries you don't wanna start this way. But they may not be a bad thing in the long run. How 'bout how 'bout Sanchez? You know, everyone seems confident hit. Well, he had a good at bats in the postseason last year. Everyone acts like a no question. He's gonna come back. You know, I don't think he looked great. And they said he was in good shape. But I don't think he hit a lot in the spring. So far, I got he wasn't until about ten after look again the last two or three days, but he wasn't hitting a lot. Does that concern you at all that he wasn't hitting a lot in the spring or not really no not really? And it wouldn't get certainly a lot. If you did hit April because a lot of times, you can get bad weather if he's not. Hitting the June and July, then I become conservative catchers, probably get less advanced in spring training than anyone. And I think it's a little bit more difficult for catchers to get in the groove. And you hope that you are. But I think I believe he's going to have a big year. I I really do. I think he probably learned a lot from last year, and he'll make the adjustments that he needs to make. And I think he's too towns is not to have a big you any team National League team. The what's your favorite team right now? Going into the season the National League you a dodger guy. What team do you like? You could argue for the dodgers. They got some injury issues. I, you know, I think the NFL the most intriguing division how that's gonna everybody's close except Miami. No question. I agree. And I'm really curious to watch that the National League's hard to predict you know, I think you got the big three in the American League. You know with the Red Sox the Yankees and Houston. Yep. Those are the big three and. You know, I think Minnesota's gonna be a lot better this year. Are there any surprise teams for this year? I don't really have one yet. I'm curious how the cardinals were going to do. And I think a lot of that could depend on the health of that Bolton because you you get some of those guys back in the fantasy billers Andrew Miller, Jordan Hicks. Some of the guys that they have down there. AS that bullpen could be really really special and with the addition of Goldschmidt. They can have a good year concerned about Milwaukee. Now with Canaveral down probably for the whole year in Jefferson shoulder that teams looks a whole lot different without that full and Cleveland may they might be on the downslide a little bit right because they got really close for a couple of years. They might have to take a little step back right now. You know, I I think for them to to make a lot of noise in the playoffs. They're going to have to make some moves before July thirty first to strengthen that bullpen. I think their starting pitching is really good. But my concern is, you know, you're going to stick with the starters a long time because that might be your best choice a lot of times. And are they all going to get worn out and Oakland a good team? But I just don't think they have enough pitching starting pitching. I mean, I know they've got a good bullpen. They got good lineup. But the pitch is funding pitches. Just on the guys I think they're really going to miss when I I think they're really going to miss him because he. He was the guy that would give you distance and allow them to do what they needed to do with their bullpen. And it's a lot. It's a lot to ask a bullpen to do that all year long. So I'm curious how that's going to go out there. I do have a guy. So you think Conforto might be a breakout guy. You gotta break out guy in the American League this year. Do you think? American. Kind of been waiting for no more bizarre to break out in Texas. When I saw him his first year. I thought oh this kid's going to be really special kinda waiting for him to break out Guerrero's kids hurt. Right. Is that true? Is he hurt? He's the ribcage muscle. Good is everybody says he is it. Sure sounds like it. I mean, he's he's a special player. I'm anxious to see Boba to to see when he gets an opportunity because his spring training was off the charts. And I'm anxious to see when those kids get up there. How the complexion of that team changes? There's going to be interesting. I mean if he's as good as his father. That's good enough to make his father was a great player. Boy, I'd say he'll be hall of fame because he was unbelievable. He really wants. I mean, he was a remarkable player. Thanks Joe will chat each week looking forward to it. So thanks very much. Enjoy the start of the season. Thanks Joe Girardi and the Joe Girardi report is brought to you by winces brothers, long island's number.

"Austin role mine almost with a perfect inning. And we would have been a better choice, and then going to Lance Lynn who couldn't stand up straight on the mound. He walked into a whole what was it? And he wasn't very stable standing on the mound or pitching from it. And what kind of a choice already have Robertson? You have with you have Robertson have green. You have even Batanes is to come into the the fourth or fifth inning already. What's and Lance Lynn? So some bad choices some bad decisions some bad games and a bad post season for the New York Yankees. And now, it's what's going to be for twenty nine teen and beyond. That'll be an interesting off season for Brian Cashman staff. Back to the phones, Eddie. Is calling from rock one. Daddy, you're on the fan of New York City. What's going on? Steve and getting ethnic at nine forty six. Yeah. On the giants, Steve, you know, let's talk about running this team should be able to run we got on number one pick in Barkley. We got a new left side of the line. We don't run less. We're running on. I seventy running attempts only fifteen of 'em with less than five yards. Most of them were double digits and most of them up the middle. Now, I understand that this team is not the line. Not so great. But why can't they get a game plan where they can run less than right wide and have a tight end follow. Well, they brought that full back in from the Panthers. And but you don't see it. No, you don't and it's a little bit to me. Mystifying because Nate solder first of all the offensive line has some different faces. But you still see Barclay bottled up. I mean, he has broken free. What once or twice so far in the in the five games and everybody is keying on him. Look at all those guys on the other side of the line of scrimmage that are just keying on Barclay, and they're kind of suffocating him. Well, what are what are the giants? Get this kid for on second and five you're putting me line manning and shotgun. And what are you asking? What did you get Barkley for? If I'm second and five you're not willing to run the fall on second and five which they mostly do, buddy. Yeah. But if the plan is to throw the ball Barclay and get him some space and getting muscle and you look at the play call and it's horrendous throwing for fifteen or twenty when they need five or seven. Throwing for fifteen or twenty one of you seen that look at the play call this Dargie. So he's going deep this last against Carolina. You did see a little bit more with the vertical, but but not much well. But a little bit more. No, it was the giants did have a different of they had a few different formations some different scheming. And you saw a little bit more space than we had seen previously because what we had seen. Previously was a check down on fans what we had seen. Previously was a prevent offense. Where you couldn't get any space for not only know del Beckham junior but Barkley so the bottom line is I'm Barkley for the most part has been bottled up. He's not really making me. And obviously when you're one in four not too many people are making a very positive difference in the team, but one particular second and five and you got lion. Shotgun you're taking something out of context here at C overall game plan and the idea and you saw a much better offense of performance. Against Carolina where they did create some space for not only. Yes, no. We're not talking the vertical all game long. No. But certainly the passing was. That was good and bad two touchdowns to fix trying to get the ball Barkley in some open space that he can create on his own and we saw a little bit with Odell Beckham getting a little bit more involved and the bottom line is they were able to score some points and move the football. But obviously it was such an uneven game with the picks from Eli and then the fumble already. So the bottom line is the giants, and they could have won the game playing very uneven football after take a break. We'll finish up with your calls after we come back..

"Need experience they need to understand exactly what you were just talking about and exactly how to manage the regular season i mean we were talking last night about leaving matanza sin and we talked about this a lot with girardi and that is wendy you service the player over the opportunity to win a game or enhancing your opportunity to win a game at some point you've got to put faith in the player and let him succeed or fail especially if he's on the ropes as batanes is right now so boone is measuring that something he probably would not even probably he would not do in the postseason you don't give batanes us that kind of rope in the postseason he probably doesn't pitch at all in the postseason until he's proven something in the regular season so you're absolutely right about that and it does affect how you go about it but i would say that if you're a good regular season team being able to exploit your positives in the postseason and bring in your players early if you need to pinch hitter early if you need to do things a little differently in a more aggressive manner because you have more rest it should help you most teens there might be exceptions but most teams that should help to be focused in a postseason environment and be able to put your cream at the top all the time in regular season baseball you don't do that that is his point that's raised point is that a regular season baseball sometimes you let a guy out there you get a guy is start and you have a guy on your on your bench who would make you a better team and you know that and you play the other guy anyway because he needs to play and you needs to be ready and in case i have an injury i gotta have him i can't let them sit there so it's a very valid point one that needs to be brought up every year to remind people that you.

"Now i don't know if you can do that one hundred percent i understand that but i would try it see the twins and white sox got rained out again and the reason why that's not that big of a deal is they play inside their own division they're going back there two more times so when the mets can the game against the phillies it wasn't that big of a deal because they can just reschedule it for a day in july so i think that's the way you gotta go about it real quick 'cause i want to finish what i saw from the yankees last night i thought jordan montgomery was very very good and i thought that was encouraging because of the fact that in his last start the yankees handed him the five run lead early he couldn't get through the fifth and it gives them six quality innings but here's the most impressive thing jordan montgomery did last night he did not issue a walk they gave him a lead he held on he didn't issue a walk he ran into trouble david robertson was able to pull his houdini act if you will he gave up the one run with the run around third base wasn't his run was able to get through it the batanes thing here's what surprised me about dental matanzas that aaron boone gave him that much rope like that really surprised me how much he let him go batanes just comes in and he gives up the home run right out of the gate it was a bomb to candelaria that was the one to right center field where the exit veto was off the charts cabrera gets ahead i don't think miguel hit that ball that hard if memory serves correct then he strikes out castellanos then he gives up a double d victor martinez okay.

"A bb the other day and you're not giving him a chance to throw a guy out that's a problem well here's i think where maybe this coaching staff thought that they would be able to get away with this but have batanes is focused more just on home play and not have a more about any runners that are on your thinking with the lineup that they have that you're going to be staked to some pretty big leads by the time you even get to batanes and i know that's not going to be always cut and dried obviously we solve the weekend it's not always going to be like that but with the type of power that this lineup has you would think that leads so even if they do get runners on for the most part maybe you can let a run score here or there it's not gonna mean the game for you that might need some rethinking so this is going to be a delicate balance because now you have to go to pretend to say we need to work on this because this is going to be the narrative everybody's gonna try and still on you but now is that going to make his pitching suffer because now he's worried about the base runners and it'd be amazing if somebody the next person he faced that gets on first base comes comes to to home plate with the the willie mays hayes gloves and put them on i got i got one hundred eighty forever stolen base yeah your shoes untied for batanes says it's just it adds to the angst that he's going to be dealing with a ready well or maybe not i mean he could choose to take just the positives away from this i know that that is difficult because you had a guys steal three three bags on you but there are some positive there are some positive things to take out of his performance over the weekend which is he rebounded well after giving up a home run to polar and he was able to pitch one good innings before it got away from him in the in the eighth as an athlete.

"To play devil's advocate here it's not the only reason the yankees lost again the manager cheap and batanes not doing the job fence to give you a lot more and that's all well and good but a fourtime allstar i mean the fact that now fill in back to back outings sees given up runs it's concerning definitely definitely you know but i'm just saying the reason is there's always more than one reason for everything you know all right i mean that's the way the baseball size works and yeah the yankees offensively and listen baton since second inning work should he'd been out there should he been yanked i think he should have been yet that falls on a manager but when you gonna put that responsibility on matanzas guy deliver and he didn't and that's why you're gonna question him moving forward and now as you get ready for sunday it'd be nice if the yankees who never last year never scored any runs sunny guy handke's come out and i any maybe put up a spot put up groggy number game a little wiggle room with the way you've used the bullpen over the last couple of days that'd be nice let's head to connecticut rage and joins us what's up right on good one john happy easter to you and your high appreciate that.

"To see how it turned out i was surprised only because the yankees are in a stretch now where their plane horrible teams the angels without might trout the as which you don't need to elaborate but it happens every team what we're seeing with the yankees and to me there is not reason to worry and when you bring that up i think the natural transition in the next sentence is about the new york mets and i don't know that it's reason to worry but i'm coming to the conclusion it's over and that's a tough one for me as we sit here in midjune it really is i i hate to say that in mid june but the ifs if you think about the ifs for these two teams you say to yourself if joe girardi had his full bullpen or close to it let's say he just had his closer this week how would these games have gone with the yankees have lost four in a row the answer is almost certainly know they would not have lost four in a row and the if goes away tomorrow when a ronaldus chapman is expected to rejoin them in oakland so that takes care of a big question mark for the yankees a big if if you will and really a problem the joe as had and we all understand that problem if we watch base wide any level off for any period of time once you take your closer out everyone else's jobs become bigger more magnified more important more critical more pressure you got what i'm saying i don't worry about delon batanes as ever and he shown you y you don't worry about him since what was it may thirteenth when chapman's been out you don't worry about dallin you worry about some of the other guys in last night delon was not available he had drunk thirty thirty nine pitches the night before in getting five outs joe girardi manages the bullpen well he always has he's been very aware as far as i can ever remember of getting guys rest.
