"Them early on in During the whole covered thing you know you're watching the news and everybody's doing remote things you know bringing all the people remote the qualities you know not gray people are cutting in and out. There's just their bedrooms. With close all overflowing amok and then know a few months and i saw an interview with bill gates and it was just a flex on gates port. Where he he was like. You know what. I want to get a really really nice camera. Set it up and that's going to be my zoom calls. It's going be a beautiful shot with the background blurred and just looking crisp as can be and i just want to say congratulations to everybody. Who does a video call and this particular movie for getting whatever the setup is that bill gates has for their calls. It is unbelievable. The quality of these calls it is beautiful and i just want to applaud them and say great job. Keep doing what you're doing because it just is impressive especially the guy who is at war At the very end of this movie there is a drumline. And there's there's music over top of the drumline. I just couldn't figure out what my biggest question is. What did hallmark us to think was happening. Did they did. They want me to think that it was just like a like a montage drum. There was like music over top of it to kind of give it that montage feel or did they want me to believe that the drummers playing their drums loudly could all hear this music that they were drumming to whichever i just. I want more clarity. I just had no idea what i was supposed to think was going on well. Along those same lines in is a question. That's part of the scavenger hunt. Clueless the drumline. Yeah how would you have found them because they don't come out new. That was so confusing. It was like now. It's not everybody is here. We're going to end this with with a time with the drummer's all coming out in a montage. Here's how i think what they showed they show sprung for the extra money to hire the drumline all day and then have them play all day going around town just understand what a drumline is in general like i think hallmark just needs a basic understanding of. What a drumline isn't what it does. And how that really doesn't work in that clue. I think that we were. We were doomed from the drum. Drumline don't play tracks. Never never ever it just that that clue for all the clues to have as much thought at him as they did. This clue is a bad. Like it just knocked. That's not the best. What if we go all day. They're racing. They're trying to get everything done. And then we have them all meats and just they all see the last thing at the same time because i did have the late. What but i took it back like after thinking about it. We're one of them. Says i well. I believe we beat you. And the other one goes that's debatable. And it in a scavenger on. It's just gets done first debatable. But i get the feeling that none of this was for a competition. This is just to go on. This is just to get people to the hotel. It has no no competition which is fine. I know why. I was okay with the drumline coming in the upper end. It was more of the music. That was confusing. So i i also this the hallmark and even if you don't agree i'm still looking for a movie where two people have to complete a scavenger hunt and tried to win an fall in love at the same time. Not knowing the clues in advance. I think that would be a good movie. You've yet to make it. I would love to see that movie. I think it's a good idea for a movie. Let's make that movie. That's what i would say. We haven't done it yet. I like to do sure four-way way what's go. Why is there a jukebox in the conference room. I thought that was his office. That's a conference room is a giant table. They're all around the table. they got the presentation. Tv there is a chance behind a desk in there. No he sits behind the front of the table. I thought that was his office to have all the rooms. Okay with meetings. it's like google. Did i find god. Here's how i here's how i took. I took it as they have a meeting meeting room in his office because he has a desk that he sits behind. And that's there are so many ways to play music these days that don't involve a jukebox office or conference but that was kind of like their aesthetic in there was like that old retro vibe. It was a it was a thing that they could have done. I love what else was old retro. I think one of their logos kind of looked like the disk like one of those what they call the records your k. One of their logo the logo. But it looks like a wreck. Anyone look so. I know i've already talked about how there's no giant conglomerate making scavenger hunt adult for for one city but big boss lady jeffreys who works for the hotel has already fired to said companies. This is the third status. I wanna i wanna dive in here. Okay the they. They had fired a to come that they were trying. They're trying to hire something for publicity. Yes so it didn't necessarily have happened to be scavenger hunt themed. They went to the scavenger hunt company hoping to create two other companies. They're not. That's how that i understood it as they're trying to create some sort of publicity to other companies weren't able to create something that they were. Silenced abinger hunts. yeah that's how. I took it but maybe is. Hey this is the there. They'll get rid of you quick. If you don't produce the clues that we need you to produce. I feel like she said or the the boss guy. I can't think of his name bosman and Arlington arlington berlin corning alastair allister's dallas your Feel like he said at one point that they've already fired two other game game. There's only one way to sell it. Take the tape. Don't lie don't lie. Don't at one point. She looks at tyler. Wait you know. Trees and i just thought okay. I guess he does no trees for him. tyler hynes assist or. They're in this dilapidated house. Said she didn't want to call the plumber for the time because the different plumber like this. This guy's not a professional. You need to call somebody who knows what they're doing. I'm convinced that as the day goes on a big city quest. The company dims the lights in their offices as the day goes on because it starts off very bright and in the afternoon. We've brought it down a few levels and then just all the way to everybody goes home. And that's how you know you gotta go home. And i found that very interested. But let's skip all that to camp on lunch with what's her name from the devonshire hotel. She wants to do lunch and then she goes okay. You need some more time late lunch two. pm now. I don't want to speak for the room here. But i'm gonna if you make us wait till two pm t lunch. We're going to be cranky. Fellows wait till eleven eleven forty five. I'm like why and we lunch at two pm. We are bordering on early bird special for dinner. We talked about. How excited we get when we at dinner right. You've already. i'm already starving. At this point we show up and homegirl from the Devonshire not so. We're waiting on her to eat twenty minutes late now. I'm starting to get hulk angry. And then mommy and brings out the food and there are four plates that are about the size of a half dollar. They're tiny little plates of food. I have eaten all four plates and still been starving and we're to assume that is lunch for three people. Yeah there's a real problem. They're mathematically speaking. I think just in general. I would have been very very upset. And i don't know how anyone could. That's just trying d'oeuvre couldn't eat lunch and gone and done that like that's just basic stuff and then tyler hynes the first time. He says cocoa van. He says cocco vein and now he fixes it later in the movie but the first time he says he says oh they make they. Make cocco vein. What is that they can check. That's a chicken crap. Talk oh vein. Tyler. cocco vein. Now bro. I'm from south carolina and it was not cocco vein. That's terrible but i do want to go to a restaurant and order. Yes the lady will have. The cocco. vein is what you'll have my friend and taught me how to say. Yeah that's all. I got thyroid the homework as far as you. We wonder what could have been having some clear to the questions that we still have panda We've already kind of dove into it. But i do want to know what was the scope worthy just local this scavenger hunt company. Now that they were just local by sending them in the movie. Big city it's four like chicago. They're all in chicago and so this leads me to my next question. How exactly do they design a different app for each company that they work with because this was a unique app like the look it how you this days develop that this is how i would imagine it is i would imagine. It is an app that they load the lesser say packs. I card pack. Yeah you loaded in there and you type in a code and it pops up. That's how i would imagine it's run. I wanna be clear. I don't think an adult scavenger on company is a bad idea. I just think it's probably run by three dudes in a basement. It's not run from a skyscraper. That's all i'm saying. Because i think three people who are app developers developers in one clue rider. Could do that. Yeah i agree with that like one. Two one. One lawrence reds yes. We see some like that shirks My what the homework is at one point. They get hot chocolate from a hot chocolate bar. That is built inside of this old school car and it was just beautiful and i just wanted to. I wanna know i imagine. That's a real thing. Because i don't think homework the the i don't think the production teams like let's get the. Let's do this craft and get ready for. I think it's probably a real thing. I want to know more about it because it was awesome as his old car. Hot chocolate bar inside of it. The guy served it. It was awesome. I want to know more about it. I have to know what happened today. Dave gets one scene in this movie and then his wife has a baby is he is he did he. Did he get his job. Back is is the baby. Good like i just need to know is sounds like jerry ten. Yeah i wanna know. I don't want to know what happened. Dave question is was he up for that promotion to or what was day was day just working with they were. They worked together. Did work together. And so dave was he one of the four people up for the five including jennifer up for the promotion and did go on paternity leave. Hurt him is the bay like well. How's everybody doing dave's family. Because dave seemed to be very very fassel early. How early did the baby. We just have so many questions about it. I did honestly think at some point. They would throw a line that direction. And i take baby's healthy dave's doing great and they just never did. And i was like dave everybody. Okay dave dave. Come on dave better. We everybody of christmas. Congratulations you number. One does it. Nobody will be my top three. Okay yeah no not number one on my top five right now top young. I think this weekend's movies were so much better than last week. It's movies with the exception of delivered by christmas. Which is my clear one still. I would agree with that. Yeah i meant top five. I don't know why top thirty listen you can have a to absence within a top five. That's how i know i would not. I don't think so i did. I just got to. I got a text that just said. Hey dan dan apologize yet. And what do i say to that person. No because you didn't apologize to me i do. I have nothing to apologize for. I want to be very clear. I have zero to apologize. I as a for. I will apologize. That sounds like an apology to me. And i'll take hey. I love that. dan apologize. I didn't see a common. I did make me missed the yes absolutely. I want to take it to the tape. Because i just think there was a little bit of a misunderstanding about what i was saying and he jumped on my back. That's how it happened. And i got defensive. This is right right so far. You have not spoken a lie. S exactly right and so. I got defensive. Dan and but i think you misunderstood what i was saying and i think that's what i'm waiting. I just want you to say you know what brand your opinion. I just want you to say. Your opinions are beautiful. Your opinions matter. No they're beautiful. They're not always beautiful. Sometimes they are sometimes how about today. They're bad mix back there pretty ugly. I'll take that as an apology as well. Thanks to is time for the pig is very go and we pan has this amazing. "About food safety. Fifty I'm an expert. Hey Matt and Barry Love the pod thank you own. My mother-in-law has very questionable food safety standards Thong the Turkey in the sink overnight cooking stuffing the cavity of the Turkey generally ignoring all guidance to regularly washing her hands etcetera. How can I address these concerns with her without making the holiday more awkward and tense than the baseline level? Small children including my own. We'll be eating this food so the stakes are high. I've already offered to make the Thanksgiving at my home. But she insists drew. Remember that story about the person who is like getting poisoned by their mother. Have the feeling that you oh really are in danger. And that maybe was your mother there. her husband was like my mom is not poisoning you and then it turns that she absolutely was fully poisoning that I am a little concerned that these standards that you're listing are just things that mom doc mom does so maybe lower your standards dear listener. Yeah I think especially like my grandma has has some questionable food standards that my mom always complains about What she's like? Also my grandma is definitely a hoarder and she she at Lake are free her freezer every time there. She's always like there's just no room. There's no room in here and I'm like why the fuck did you see this by ten thousand house in new groceries to put in here. I don't really remember what I was going to this. Oh Yeah my mom always gets mad at my grandma. Because like Schilling. She used butter. That's been expired for a year or something like that. And they're both alive. So yeah I mean obviously. Don't eat you meet. Especially that you feel like as undercooked or bad but Hopefully it's big enough Turkey that you could just kind of pick and choose which parts they seem the most PA- cooked and least gross shore. I also don't know where you're sitting in proximity to your mother-in-law but remember that really cool trick when you're a little were you. Were you pretend to eat something and it actually just going on the side of your face. She's like triumph bunch of that. And then Vaudeville humor to try to and then you can just have a meal at home with your kids like order some pizza. Yeah yeah it seems like Turkey. The Turkey in in this situation is probably the most questionable. Yeah yeah 'cause meet. It's always a little scary. 'cause there's like I don't know equal I guess sure but I always think the Turkey is like everybody knows Turkey is leg. Not The star of Thanksgiving. He thinks it is. That's why I tweeted this last year but I I identify with Turkey because I to take four hours to get ready. And then I'm over shadowed by sexier side pieces but the point says it's like you're going to load up on the sides anyway so just like take the tiniest piece of Turkey they go. Yeah when in doubt how we all feed it to the dog trick and then if her dog dies you know you dodged a bullet jokes on her salzone next up. What kind of alcohol should you pack in your suitcase? Gluck down in your room in between Thanksgiving dinner and watching. This is us with your family. You have have to try to not smell it on your breath so nothing Brownlee Bourbon or rum and nothing that will stain your teeth like red wine. My go-to has been boxed white wine. Take out of the container. It just hand the bag of wine in your suitcase. I like Oh she doesn't think sorry. I'm assuming this is a woman it is. I like how they don't think that white wine makes your breath smell box right wine. You're you're walking around wreaking like wine. So what are your thoughts as to the best alcohol to pack on a trip with your your parents and no just drinking are in front of is not an option. I love you guys. This is legit my era Bunga. Have you tried Jin because I feel like you know well has this listener. But they can't respond so I feel like gin doesn't have a very alcohol e breath to it because of the juniper so maybe maybe then if you like we're getting so tactical on the notes of the yeah and then maybe if you like have like a floral non alcohol drink you can be sipping that masks. That might be something. I'm also gotTA say a little concerned about this practice. I don't know how much I really want incursion. Yeah I'm thinking you need something. That hard seltzer. You're truly heart Seltzer. Hard Seltzer are you able to buy it in your hometown and put it in your backpack. Because obviously that's not something you can. If you're checking a bag could I guess bring heart shelter but that might be the ticket for you. Yeah Hard Seltzer for sure or at least as a mixer for something else that can mask the flavor I feel like the true secret is having something mellow enough. But then mixing it with something. That is overpowering being enough to take away like mint or yeah just eat like a garlicky chicken Carbonara air we just pile on the garlic uh-huh or like Indian curry just something like super strong. It is supposed to be between Thanksgiving and watching. This is us with her family so I don't no no. That's what their survey bring home at Indian Curry. Yeah just bring pack that in your roasted garlic ladling in does eat a whole cloth. They'll be concerned about how how you stink in other ways but at least you'll be drunk unhappy. Arrigo salt that I said I was probably the best advice. We've given this whole time. uh-huh next we've got some black Friday problems so after Thanksgiving my family will WANNA go. Black Friday shopping. Is there a not tacky hockey way to say I don't want gifts. But here's the log in information to my student loan provider so whatever you're going to spend on me can you just bend it there instead. I just don't want more socks with cats on on them or candles. I have so many limit does exist. Here's the.

"Hi this is Logan web so we do that little video it's out there somewhere on Twitter you tube on or where it is but just to get to know him a little bit and he can make his major league debut tonight against dive backside joining us Barry bloom of Forbes dot com and Barry love to have having you on the show how are you today I'm Marty are you good very good so Logan web makes his debut tonight and luckily he doesn't have to face more today so he's out of the lineup well you know that that is generally things to try in getting get things straightened out there and yeah basically what I saw the shark that there at five point your runs again they're certainly good at an average once again that doesn't really matter at some point it was like put it usually they have all right Barry bloom with as Forbes dot com Barry you've written a lot about pochi this year you've known for going back to the San Diego years you even implied that maybe he would manage the Padres next year what's your take on Bruce poaching now well I guess that this point is just a he seems to be in a good space and I'm very happy for that that the team went on a nice run after the fed start that is comfortable it seems that a lot of the this mix of younger guys at some veteran players come in from elsewhere plus a little bit left of his core are are are competing and even though they're twenty games lined the doctors in the division they're still right there in the wild card race which gives them something to shoot for the last six weeks of the season is at nineteen hundred and eighty eight weigh ins these are the eleventh place for most wins of managers in history he'll be the eleven forty goes over two thousand and I would expect that that the navy or was ever I think he's in a good spot whether you take a year off the sides were the ones to come back whether some of the king makes a pitch still on a minutes so many factors baseball right now playing into the amount of money gives one of teh guy age you know whether they think that the game is gone by but I think that she is this year and it's very analytical viable then you can still contribute you know and I think he's having fun with for him to tell you the truth forehand brings up five people every day and you know in a week's time really five or six people can come on and off the roster any gives Boettcher a lot of weapons and this time of year but she loves the weapons he loves the the matter up she loves this and that I think they've been a good match together all right you know I agree is that all year gotten along fine with Farrakhan yeah I think that by in the early going there was a lot of of of roster moves it didn't make sense I think that now you start seeing a method to his madness he's gotten guys in there like Paul are you know a bunch of people pretty good thank you like instance the last night he's a great kid I enjoyed watching him play targets are back we get it yeah the soon well are you for the lot about Padres and the and the green and of course title is injured what happened at that tastes a strange injury a stress reaction towards a stress fracture in his lower back it's not good yeah that's a good part of the last year with various different injuries and the kids got stale well we'll see if he does it's always a question let me grow juniors said for an MRI as so that as well Julio ori SS suspended for twenty games by Major League Baseball under the domestic violence policies that they have this out for twenty games is there anything slowing actors down at all the only thing that slows the doctors down is the back end of their books and and it's a good thing for them that they've got is I think what I read was it's got to go because he was out for five early while they were figuring this all out and I counted towards twenty you can get you out of this guy yeah apple he gives to go the battle get him out and back before the you know you can get to the end of season I think they're all thing here is setting up the bullpen that's going to be useful in the in the playoffs I know that you know can we Jensen has enough what that is able to perform at the back end of it well the Dodgers are in I'm not so sure that it Lana won't be caught by Washington I think that's still up in the air the cubs Saint Louis thing Milwaukee is still kicking around in that thing but then it comes to the wild card it's like six or seven teams who do you see just put you on the spot right here who do you see as the two wild card teams when it's all said and done well you know my you know my sentiments that yeah I read it the other day I mean wouldn't it be something if the giants not yet again yeah Bumgarner pitching a third wild card game that very well in two thousand fourteen to two thousand sixteen and one again is that spent spin spun the giants in the playoffs we're at that point you know anything can happen so I mean my sentiment is that I'd love to see the giants get that second wild card and then I think you really have hello a wild run there where you've got cut success St Louis Milwaukee the diamond backs you have the Phillies it and and the match at that at that land like you say it if it Lana falls back in Washington fifty three percent for you've got washed I mean from all of their it's really hard to speculate on on on is going to get in but you figure one team out of central and then the real wild card is who's going to be the other thing yeah it's going to be good I Barry bloom with this website come one last thought Fauria still the race in the American League and that you know I talked to Bruce Jenkins about this you know Houston for me they're just not as consistent I don't know if the ETS will ever catch him but they'll probably be in easily but just not I there's something about their pitching I don't like their overall staff let's put it that way but Minnesota Cleveland Minnesota gonna hold on are they gonna get shut out of the hole playoff picture well I get out of where you see the gap I mean the red Sox really have to make up a lot of ground do what it took to make the out of the playoffs at this point which is not beyond the realm of possibility there's there's enough games left if they gone awry the money question you with all of this that you have two years ago the Diamondbacks in twenty games out and then the the staff behind the Dodgers the Tigers lost fifteen and sixteen and the Diamondbacks won are running one searching around it was enough for them to catch the Dodgers but it certainly was enough for them to capture the top wild card and then they won the game here and and went on a lawsuit that is in the end the end of the year so I mean you got a look at it some theme in the next six weeks is going to go on one of these rocks Derek we get national and that's going to be the thing that's going to make a run is the either division title or a running it's a wild card berth and that he will be very hot going into the into the playoffs of all I love it my great story very thanks for being with us and will watch and catch up with you during the game thanks Barry thanks buddy okay that is Barry bloom Forbes dot com more coming up we're going to do our talk back and we got baseball but I can't wait long pregame show we got a lot of lot of things to cover but Sean S. this is going to "All right. So berries coming out this bring on HBO. This is the show that myself included. I've never really heard of until you talked about a Christian, but everyone who loves Barry loves berry. So this coming out in the spring. This excite you right before a game of thrones in April right again. So it's probably be April. It's my birthday month shaping up to be amazing. Yeah. Dude. I really love season. Wanna think season one was such a amazing gem that was kind of under the radar and a lot of people didn't hear about it. But listen, I want a bunch of Emmy's. Like Bill Hader, one at Winkler one. I've shown a couple of scenes on the show. But I think you really need to commit to watch him before he's two cups out. You know, also that guy the bald guy like names. No, hank. I'm not even kidding. No exaggeration, probably my favorite new character on TV like just so funny every single Sienese in is amazing. And it's one of the reasons that show can kind of walk that tight rope of being really dark really serious than also. So it being ridiculously funny. You know? So I really love it, man. You should check it out. Cool. No. I'll definitely get on it. Are they our episodes? Are they like thirty minute episodes, thirty minutes. They're really easy, man. I think there's eight in the first season. And it's also directed exclusively by Bill Hader and got him blanking on his name hero. Mariah the guy. Does Atlanta needed. This is America video. Yeah. Yeah. Really great director really great direction about the whole thing. Just whip smart writing. So. Yeah, I cannot recommend enough. And now you have some time you've got a couple of months, man. You gotta catch up down. No definitely will do. So now, let's go ahead and jump into the Email portion, and then we'll wrap things up here. And look at that Christian. We got quite the emails, and let's go ahead and start here with Fernando Merino, saying addressing, Goku origin and Devi Birla. Okay question. Yeah. Okay. So so let me go ahead and read this real quickly. It says, hey, superstar DJ here we go. This is for Nando from Barcelona aka the famous hand time, the TJ or t t so I finally got the early movie yesterday for it hasn't been released yet in Spain fucking loved it. It was it has humor hands down the best action. Nobody has ever seen on any dragon ball installment and also really touching moments. I got a glassy I couple times. So when you discuss with Corey, you say, you didn't like, or at least had something to say about it the reshaping go 'cause origin, and how it got to superman could that be caused by the translation, I saw the.

"The first thing I want to do is play the theme, and I should say there's three different versions of this theme because the film was about three different chapters in this characters life and the character early on in the film in chapter one. He's a young African American boy growing up in Florida. His mother is a crack addict. And he's a small and very very, quiet. Boy, there's a lot going on beneath the surface, but he doesn't say very much. So this is his theme. The violin is played so quietly and tentatively. It's very much like the boy who's afraid or to freighter too shy to inhibited to really speak much. And it's like the violinist is almost afraid to fully blow the strings to fully connect with the strings that such a great point that you bring that up because that that really was what I was going for their the violence played by Tim Fain is just a stunning violinist and the way we recorded. It actually was we we put the violent very very close to the mic, and I asked him to basically play the notes as quietly as he possibly could while still having the confidence of the of the note feeling you know, because you can play it. So quiet. That it loses some of its inner strength. But so he found this pressure where it was just at the point where it felt confident. And yet it was so quiet, and because it was close Mike, you had the sound of the bow hair. You know, I like keeping in a lot of recordings actually, really as almost an aesthetic choice. I like hearing the sound of the instruments and hearing the, you know, hearing the noses in the textures that instruments make you know, hearing the air in the room hearing, the no I think that makes it feel real and beautiful to me. And so then I took the violin that would recorded very closely. And I ran it through some revert where there's actually a a subtle amount of very long tailed reverberate to which just gives the violent this extra feeling of. I don't know almost like like a mist or something around the notes. And I you know, there is that feeling of tenderness. Hopefully, there's this feeling. Of you know, there's a there's an intimacy that that I wanted that to feel like, and and Tim just play that so beautifully and that became in a way once we once we knew little theme connected with the picture, then it became the question of how do we evolve? This over the course of the movie in a where do we go from there? And that was when baron I m really begin more fully exploring the CD of chopped and screwed music, which. Crapton screwed his short shorts. So in in these in these early conversations I have with Barry. He was telling me about how much he loves chopped and screwed music, which is a style of southern hip hop where you take a recording and you slow it down. And when you slow the recording down the pitch goes down. And what it does to the audio texture is that it just deepens and enriches it and Barry loves listening to music that's been chopped and screwed. And you know, it's it's incredible. When you hear music, stop insured, it just completely it's the same. But it's different than it. Actually in a way by slowing things down and enriching it you have this it almost makes the music heavy an even deeper gravitas to it..

"I mean, there's times when I'll walk around and try and think of things. But I think a three quarters of the battle is is scribbling and making something visible, you know, not keeping it in your head and and you know, luck is just another word for it. I guess it's it's definitely part of the process. You mentioned before the notion of your first few sketches for your first ever cover for the New Yorker being tight. Right. Not sketches us was final final artwork tight. I've read that you will often do more than one finished cover so that each version appears casual and loose head you achieve that casual looseness so that it doesn't appear tortured. I think it does appear tortured, plenty of times, but it's I, it's trying to distract myself. It's try not to think about it too much, which is hard. You know when your brains going. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and your head. But it's just a matter of doing it. You know if there's a single part of an illustration that you don't like I read that you'll redo the entire thing, and yet your work always looks entirely spontaneous. And I guess that's the result of that looseness. What gives you the sense? Is it just a personal assessment that something looks too tight or something looks to forced or tortured? Absolutely. Yeah. On the other hand, when you say something an entire image will look will look loose. There are times when I'll send several versions to France was, and she will take, maybe she'll take one figure out of the out of one and digitally put them together. A really? Yeah. And in the New Yorker cover of Martin Luther King hailing a cab Francois's mulies suggested that you have a face in the taxi driver, you drew the sort of inside of the taxicab and then the drivers looking out. And yet you can see the driver. In the rear view mirror as you just said, how many ideas do you get from friends? Because I knew she was the one that said, can you put the driver in the car? So how much of that is collaborative? How much of the Wikki do together it's collaborative. I mean, often they're they're happening at the very last minute, so she might get the final art and say, I've, you know, it might be a good idea if I do this. Are you okay with that? And she'll she'll digitally move something, but how often did she say not you? How do you mean? No, as in bad idea, Barry love spelled out. Well, I'm sending if I'm sending. Ultimately the magazine publishes fifty issues a year or so. And I'm lucky if I get four, six covers a year, got getting a lot more now. My math could be wrong. But I mean, I'm not. I've never done ten in a year or eight. I don't think. I'm not sure how many he'll come up this year with about that many, there's a lot of knows. I mean, I'm s- I'll often send, you know, ten sketches and none other Mogo. My batting average is it's like a pitchers. It's not a great. It's not a great batting average. But if you think about somebody like Babe, Ruth, you know, great one of the greatest baseball players of all time and what was it? Four hundred right said. I'm not in Babe Ruth territory. How k. well, let's we're not gonna argue talking numbers, and if you're if you're asking numbers, you know, I'm sure that I if I say I have six covers a year or seven, I'm sure. Over the year. I've sent. Seventy. Sketches at least probably probably more than that in an essay in your book, France was dated that when you first met, you had her watch Fox News rather than MSNBC. I had her watch. Yes. I wasn't aware of that. And I told her that I, I was I made sure to to would listen to Rush Limbaugh when I could stand it and to watch FOX when I could stand it. And now I can't even watch MSNBC I can't. I mean, I don't watch any televised news. I find it all show-bizzy crap, but, but that's just me. But he, I think it's important to, you know, to see what what the country is consuming, see what people are looking at. I have some friends who are extremely right wing, it's distressing. How do you manage? We don't talk politics at all. Isn't that hard to do?.
