NBC News' Peter Alexander Ignores That Justice Clarence Thomas Is Black

"I saw a headline last night how NBC's chief White House correspondent Peter Alexander was talking to Lester holt and headline said Peter Alexander stumbles and claims that Biden will be nominating the first African American justice to the Supreme Court. I thought, wow, that's quite a stumble. So I had barrack Derrick pull the clip. Here it is. Is the president's commitment as a candidate that he would nominate the first African American justice to the Supreme Court. Did you hear a stumble? I didn't hear he didn't stutter. He seemed very clear. The media is grotesque. The crazed libs are lunatics. They don't think clarence Thomas is black. They actually believe he doesn't exist.

Operation Crossroads: The Test of Atomic Weapons in Naval Warfare

"World war two had just ended the year before in nineteen forty-five while the war was over. The cold war between the united states and the soviet union was just beginning at this particular moment. The united states had a monopoly on atomic bombs. However it while they had vanished to create and detonate several bombs. There was still a great deal. They didn't know about this weapon. Only three atomic bombs had been detonated at this point. The original trinity test explosion in new mexico. The bomb used over hiroshima and the one used over nagasaki. All three of these were detonated over land. What no one knew was what would happen. If these weapons were used in naval warfare. What would happen to ships which were hit with an atomic blast with they sankar would they flow it. People in the navy had speculations but no one had any proof to this end of the. Us navy initiated operation crossroads. This was to be an a of atomic weapons in naval warfare. The navy search for a location where they could conduct such a test. They needed somewhere remote yet somewhere where they could set up headquarters on land and have observation posts. They eventually settled on a remote coral atoll in the pacific ocean in the marshall islands. The navy move the one hundred sixty seven people who lived on the island to other nearby islands so they could begin testing. They also sailed a fleet of ninety five ships to the atoll which would serve as target ships for the test. These were ships that were set for retirement and the scrap yard and instead would be used for testing they would get newt facilities for over. Forty thousand people were constructed. Who would be there to the tests. They had to build everything from scratch. They build bunkers to observe the test. They built barracks kitchens offices clubs for officers and clubs for enlisted men. It was a massive undertaking and all done far away from prying eyes in the middle of the pacific ocean on july first. The first of these tests took place he would be the fourth atomic bomb ever detonated. In the first above water the test was given the codename able it was dropped from a b twenty nine bomber and exploded approximately five hundred feet above the surface. It caused surprisingly little damage to the ships because the bombs were about a third of a mile or six hundred meters off target the next day. The news of this event spread around the world and everyone became familiar with this remote pacific island which was named

"That's what i tweeted back in two thousand nine. And i know it wasn't specifically under faira although the statute is a statute but the difference being that he was being directed by high level officials at uae. He wasn't just sort of broadly. Lobbying on behalf of turkey aka flint or like or some or an individual that is not connected to the intelligence services or the sovereign Family right it's that that falls under our too could just be a businessman are bay or something like that that you need to register for so okay but this came in. You know my question is how this you know implicates other people. Yeah when muller was in interviewing gates A new york times is reporting. New york times is reporting. Muller handed this off to the eastern district of new york. And it's one of those fourteen behind bars and appendix d of handed off shit and you know gates the judge when they were sentencing gates. They were like gushing about his substantial assistance in the manafort matter and then said and also several other ongoing yachters and i think that includes yes but y you know that's all speculation but this implicates so many people around the trump orbit doesn't it that's right let's remind everyone that gates gates gates was in the sort of administrative in with the campaign and doing all that and then he was like ran for the hills Right and where did he run. Ran to a barricade. He started working for him And so gates. Actually was in there in barracks I believe he was at colony northstar Which was one of the companies one of the colony companies. Involved in all of this. So we'll have to. I'll have to double check that. But he saw he was working for thomas baragan with dummies back and then he ended up going back in. And kind of being with jared a little bit after that so they were moving gates around keeping him close by with after manafort had been sort of ejected into outer space of the campaign I think this all gets into. Let's go back to the question of who is simply kate. I wanna be very. I'm very excited about this. But i want everyone to be very measured about this. Yes so barrack actually has quite a lot that he can trade for manafort and for flynn It doesn't even and so it's gonna be up to our justice department whether they're going to let him out of because he will trade. This man loves santa barbara. he lives montecito. he loves his yachts. He loves his celebrity friends. Let's whatever that weird smelling lotion is. He slathers his body with yes. I i have met this man. I'm bit in a room with them. Who is fifteen years ago. I have my sources. Still say guess. He still has a strange smell about him so You know he. He likes his good fine life he really really does and so he's not he's i can't even believe he's allowing himself to be detained. I we very until they transfer him to to new york going to be very curious whether the judge in new york allows him to be arraigned on bail. He is a high flight risk So you know this guy. I'm telling you he will sing to the rafters. Oh yeah he's not like a why who was born to nestle. Manafort was born to go to prison. These are made men. They have been in Organized crime since birth. They are they know the rules in the play The thomas back is a fuck achier. He's got a rolodex that spans the globe. Reme he knows jeffrey. He knew jeffrey very well. Paul manafort and epstein him and where were running buddies so much like how epstein traded on. His context into intelligence is context into Arms deals is a dealership around the world and and in organized crime Don't think thomas doesn't have a rolodex even with a bigger and broader reach and has knowledge. That goes even way deeper than hey thing that the jeffrey obscene had so he will trade on all of that. It's going to be up to our justice department whether they're going to accept manafort as the scalp or flynn as a scalp. 'cause i think that's the first place he's gonna start before he touches on kushner or or trump or anyone in the trump family So that we can. There's other there's other peoples around that you know. Look also in that coming again. Go read the comics report. Everybody apollo and leon black is a soup to nuts in there right blackstone soup-to-nuts in there so schwartzman is on the table Black is on the table. All of these characters are on the table And there is indication that some of them are under investigation of some of them. Likely a black. For the crossover into juillet max case. Okay so This is what this world is. Don't think it's not this world this is. This is the underworld. it is the world beneath us. It is the intersection of of really illegal. Dark bloody money and foreign intelligence And the aims and goals of hostile nation states. Okay that thomas barracks sits right in the center of a lot of that and he has for for decades and decades and decades. He will trade on that Now if if they yeah like you say if they let because he's a big he's you know he's a huge target. He's he's a big fish. He's not somebody that they're just getting to roll on other people. And i do wanna keep talking. I also want you to finish your thought. I'm sorry for interrupting. And i wanna talk about cutter in the cutter investment authority in the blockade. But i have to take a quick break. We stay with me. Yeah thank you. Everybody will be right back. Hey everybody it's ag for the beans. "Welcome melby thanks. Say gee so it was a fucking party was indicted. Good time over here to let me tell you boy. I can't begin to explain. Like you know i mean. I tweeted out in july. Two thousand seventeen like hey. He's all policy the uae. The way the way manafort polished up Yana kovic and Hey he better watch his little faira ass you know and here. We are two years later. I mean. of course. I was such a such a baby podcastone so new into the world of of prosecutions and stuff like that. I'm any day. now it's gonna be indicted. It takes two years okay. What are the implications. We know the implications for him. He's got his dick and a lot of inkwell. Yeah particularly the pick walk-off ivanka and then of course the trump organization he could be as valuable if not more valuable than weisselberg to Federal prosecutors kushner big of his the big middle east. And then of course the middle east marshall plan with mcfarland. Kt and bud mcfarlane. Everybody copson and flynn texting cops. And from the dais of the inauguration saying we're gonna do it we're going to build nuclear reactors and saudi arabia and eric prince is gonna guard him now. I mean the the scope of this indictment which has forty six. Patpong is a tiny teeny. Sliver of what this man is involved in. What are your thoughts on the implications for others. I think there's a lot of people shaking in their boots right now. Oh i think people are just peeing their pants. The here's a couple of things to know about Mr thomas back. We want to make sure we say his name different than barack so it. This is a game that tom barrack has been in for decades and decades decades and decades. Okay everybody from the nineteen seventies. This man has been figuring out how to Mix in the dark money of a world of the middle east right across the spectrum of empty emirati saudi arabia cutter particularly as well as a specialty of his And u. s. business interests right so for there's a tremendous amount of overlap. And all that. And he's very very sophisticated things like which you brought up About this sort of marshall plan that he had which really the middle east marshall plan. Here here's what it was. It was. This is all for for thomas barrack and this particular set of documents and where they're zeroing in on him with with With these charges is as your audience may or may or may not know Because i know you've been forming them like crazy but this was a saudi nuclear deal and in order to sell saudi nuclear technology. And they looking to do it around. Congress which violates the the one-two-three For a nuclear proliferation which is You know meaning that you've got to get congressional approval or oversight in these kinds of nuclear deal foreign interests okay or foreign nations so this is all about the probation act in making sure that the united states has a really firm grass and specifically the congress. Ah very firm grasp on where our nuclear technology is being sold or allocated. Well that's called the gold standard. You know we. We expect everyone all of these ford nations. If we're going to assist participate with them in terms of showing our lifting our nuclear technology skirts so to speak and share information with them that they adhere to our own gold scale standard. Well saudi arabia did my do that. Especially under mvsa they. They don't want anything to do with gold standard. Don't give a fuck about it. And they want all different ways to get around that while still getting their hands on our nuclear technology and our resources and thomas barrack was making that dream come true for them with a he. He created this ridiculous or he was partnered with this particular company. what was it. I p what the hell was that name i. ip three yeah ip three copson. And kost we're going to build like a test for reactor somewhere in the southern united states literally one industry executive in the nuclear industry names. I ip three that fair out thoreau. Some of the nuclear industry is just. It's just a paper tiger. It's just it's all fraud right. it's just a it's a front company. With just a bunch of people that want to have their interest make money off of skirting and getting around our own to funnel nuclear technologies. And what barracks martin middle. East marshall plan was was. He was going to purchase westinghouse electric company. Now this is the only. Us manufacturer of lord scared nuclear reactors. Okay you if there's a us company that's actually involved in the p. Three and shifting this technology. It skirts around the scrutiny of the committee afford investment in the united states. Right which is syfy because it's private fantasy it's not governed it's also a west cut down a us company. Where was the money coming from that. Thomas barrack was going to get in order to purchase westinghouse electric. I don't know where this money's coming from so What everyone should just go and do right now is go get. Elijah cummings report on. All of this is called the comics report. He put i think it was in two thousand. Nineteen god bless. Set man my god. It's all spelled out in the oversight committee report. And i think it. I just did a search for thomas for backs last. Name it that report. And there's a hundred and forty nine. Instances hits this report and this all has to do with it. It's really is truly tied into everything we saw in that indictment that he was using this for money acting as a as an agent basically not even not even failed to register. Far was full on a tuesday and using his influence in context within the trump administration. Mnuchin is named in this wilbur. Ross is named in this. Gary cohn his name. This jared kushner is named in this. All of these motherfuckers were all involved in this. Because it was a vast amount of money. Now back to thomas baron hat being a fucking fear of of of the fuck tears right meaning he. He's been in the business of swimming in this sort of dirty dirty landscape of Working with foreign intelligence services pulling off these great big deals he was swimming with saudi arms. Dealers for god knows how long And trying to funnel money into the middle east from the us technology as well as funnel money from the middle east into the us and to us based company say he owned or participated in an ownership. That's that's this guy's entire business model realestate we all know what role real estate plays in being this sort of shelter for anyone having is into where money's coming from especially if it's going through australia italy investigate italy investment who's colony stall and eight four years ago colony also is named in the cummings report He was trying to use a as as a as a front for all of this. So this is all this. Man is in deep deep deep trouble. Now what is it. You had another question. Know what is sort of mean to be pulling on him In terms of justice yelich. How does that implicate. Because you know you mentioned the cummings report that came out july twenty nine twenty nineteen and happy anniversary almost to that to that report that was also the same month. That muller testified it was it was. It was a lot of stuff going on in the spring and summer. Two thousand nineteen. But you and i have been talking about this since two thousand seventeen so when that's when that oversight committee report came out you know. Today's reveals new an extensive evidence that corporate and foreign interest seek to influence us nuclear policy toward saudi arabia. I tweeted yeah no shit. We covered this in episode six in two thousand seventeen. It's called the middle east. Marshall plan and i actually put tom barrack. Alma leah along with manafort and gates were also involved look for farah charges against barrick if bar allows..

Trump Ally Tom Barrack Charged With Acting as Foreign Agent

"One of former President Donald Trump's old friends, who also advised him has been charged with trying to steer American policy in favor of a foreign country. Federal prosecutors say Tom Barrack lobbied for the United Arab Emirates between 2000 and 16 and 2000 and 18. But he did not register as an agent of a foreign country with us now is NPR contributor Ilian Marital Alia. Good morning. You've been covering the relationship between barrack and Trump for a very long time. What is their deal? Tom Barrack is a 74 year old private equity investor based in California. He's very successful. He was on the cover of Forbes. Once in 2000 and five They called him the world's best real estate investor. And in his personal style. He is smooth and gracious and self facing. He connected with Donald Trump a long time ago, 1988 when Barrack was handling the sale of the Plaza Hotel, and Trump wanted it. Trump bought the hotel for $390 million but ended up selling it a few years later at a loss but listen to how Tom Barrack described that transaction at the Republican National Convention in 2016, he says it was Trump who got the better of the deal. Barrack said Trump told him You just tell me the things that I should know? And how to fix it, and I'll do this deal. He played me like a Steinway piano. Mm. So the two men became friends. Baruch became one of the few major business leaders to endorse Trump early in 2016, and that's the point in time where this indictment picks up, Okay. And so what do prosecutors say? Baruch did According to the indictment, right around the time that Tom Barrack started raising money for the Trump campaign and vouching for Trump with the business community, he also embarked on a conspiracy to influence the candidates take positions favorable to the United Arab Emirates. So in an energy policy speech in Bismarck, North Dakota candidate Trump said he would take the United States out of the Paris climate

They also decide to change their nicknames to align with the horsemen steams of terrible things. I up grievous bodily harm next cruelty to animals next really cool people and treading and dog shit dot formerly things not working properly even after you've given them a good thumping comma no alcohol lager comma embarrassing personal problems comma and finally people covered in fish. That's what this actually. If you're reading this it kind of reads like a bad mammoth play. Where like every other word is capitalised. "You know we don't know whether muller was looking into cutter and a and the uae or whether that was handed off and maybe this rose out of that we we honestly don't know i don't think we're going to get too much detail anytime in the near future but it is definitely worth well. Everything's worth speculating for me. Speculating about especially. When you end up being right yeah so you know i just and the obstruction of justice charges. This feels like oh and you know you pointed out on twitter. Politico had made a good catch. This wasn't prosecuted under faira or the. They aren't prosecuting under farah. They're prosecuting under something else do you. You have any insight as to why it's not fair and why it's this other thing. I'm not entirely sure. I haven't had that much time to dig into the nuances of the statute that the charged under. I've seen some back and forth from some very sharp people like josh christie. Naw from politico mar has also noticed this and is pointing very intelligently to a lot of reporters who are saying fair violation that it's not why There seems to be some confusing lingo on. Doj's website about this statue which says filing under farah might exempt you from prosecution under the statute that doesn't necessarily make us a violation of farah. Which just sounds technologically Nightmarish but i think what the bottom line of the difference is. Is that what they are. Alleging in this indict is that barrack for reasons unexplained acting at the direction of senior foreign government officials and that's different than fair. Farah is is general lobbying for foreign government foreign entity without registration but To be working at the direction of senior foreign government officials and influencing us policy on behalf of the senior members of a foreign government. That looks a lot more like maria routine like that. You are a foreign operates. Not necessarily a lobbyist. Who didn't fail to register. File your paperwork. You were acting on behalf of interest that was completely not the united states and you were influencing united states policy It's curious and why we're doing that. And they don't really lay that out they they you know. I saw someone point out that Barracks business gets a lot of business from the middle east end. He's made a lot of money there. And of course money sure that makes a lot of sense but this indict does not lay out a scheme where barrick is paid like a lobbyist to do this work. Bear is wealthy me. He didn't need to like go. Be a lobbyist so you have to wonder what they're getting at here. He was doing work for foreign countries at the direction of senior officials of those countries. What is the bigger deal. Why was he doing that. And are we going to get any more information about who else might have been doing that. Yeah very true. I have a couple more questions about some of the wording. Some illegally is in this indictment. But i have to take a quick break. Stay with me thank you. Everybody will be right back. Hey beans listeners. It's alison this year. I'm really focusing on my nutrition and boosting my overall health. I have researched and tried abundance of different omega three supplements and found my favorite by far head and shoulders is e. We secret is algae. It's on a whole 'nother level than plane fish oil. They realize that fish get their omega threes from algae so Go straight to the source and they skip the middle fish as it were see. You get to skip those netnam. "This isn't the kind of the normal way this goes right. Normally you're charged. You get a letter you turn yourself in. He was arrested. This is this is reminiscent to me of when they were like picking up nader at dulles as soon as he landed or you know like what are some reasons that prosecutors would wanna get their hands on on barrack without warning him that they're coming. I mean presumably You know i. I should say assuming. That's even what happened. Yeah definitely seems different. You know if you think back to some of the other changes. That are similar here. Like manna for. I think some of these people turn themselves in you know there were agreements for when people would be either picked up by the fbi or turn themselves in at a local office at the i. Office or something like that doesn't always happen. That way. stone was arrested at his house But there's a couple aberrations that. I kinda thought were of note. Usually if fbi goes to arrest citizen especially unlike white collar stuff. It tends to happen really early in the morning. Usually like a six. Am knock get out of bed. This is happening. We're doing in out of sight of the press. This seems like it happened in the middle of the day. Now there could be details. We don't know i. I should speak to that to be very sparse details but another reason that it seems like he was not fully aware. This might be happening today because they were not ready with a ton of statements. He did not have team of lawyers ready with a ton of explainers for why he is not guilty and now they just had a bail hearing. The judge apparently expressed some concern. That he's a flight risk that his lower level associated a flight risk. So i wondered if there was concerned about him being out in. La maybe prosecutors had noticed some plans to travel. I don't know but it did seem like it. Came out nowhere and there is no indication of these depressed. We knew that this investigation exist. We did not know heating up nor did we go that it had died on the horizon. No right not like the matt. Gaetz has been heating or the rudy's been heating up in the eastern district there. I think you know you bring up a couple of great points here and you know as i just mentioned. He was interviewed in two thousand nineteen on obstructed justice. He lied on several occasions particularly saying he wasn't doing any work for the uae and and that he'd you know etc and you know that to me says that the justice department under trump kept this investigation going. What are your. What are your thoughts on that because a lot of people see this and a lot of people are reacting like oh see merrick garland is is pushing things back into gear. But this has been. This has been happening. Yeah it's clear that the the offices of doj especially the district offices continued on these investigations in the trump era. And we they deserve credit for that and we should command those. Us attorneys who have courage to risk their jobs and move on potentially politically explosive implications. Like this because they certainly didn't have to interview barrack but they pursued this right. They wanted to talk to him in two thousand. Nineteen that's height of trump's Tantrum throwing control over the justice department..

"It is independent journalist and almost lawyer robert donnell. Hello robert how are you on this. Fine indictment tuesday. It's good to be back so soon. We didn't think we'd be talking about this so quickly. But you know you and i spoke a couple of weeks ago. And we briefly mentioned appendix d and all of the hand off sort of redacted twelve. We knew of at the time other cases. And you know that had been handed off by miller two other offices and today in the eastern district of new york right in brooklyn at the federal histories office. Tom barrack was charged on a seven. Count indictment with two of his buddies alma leak and a guy named grimes. And you know you. And i and the past talked extensively about alma leak as well and it's it's just fascinating. He was picked up. He was arrested in los angeles and he is being held. It's it's a surprise. i you know. I think what this is to me is assigned that those referrals are alive and well And i think that a lot of americans. We sort of touched on this. Last time we spoke had may be given up hope that things that muller had deliberately avoided because they were outside his mandate or he had referred. Maybe they got killed by other other attorneys at doj. I think this is a very big sign. That's not the case That the justice department is not just going to move on from some of these very serious allegations of corruption and foreign influence over an entire administration and the conduct that this indictment hovers goes from trump campaign in april twenty. Sixteen all the way through twenty eighteen halfway through his first term and twenty nineteen when he obstructed justice right and so. This is a piece of a puzzle that was referred elsewhere and you know requires patients on our front here. You see. The wheels of justice are still turning. They're not just going to let this go. They're not just going to move on from this stuff and tom barrack of billionaire berry powerful very wealthy man who has been involved with donald trump since the nineteen eighties by the way has pretty deep insight into some trump projects. He was the proposed funder for The washington hotel at the post office that they took over and then he had a back al in the summer of two thousand sixteen. It was kind of confusing on a new. Exactly what happened there but he has ties to trump a date back very far. This is a close friend of donald trump. Who's clearly very influential over the campaign over the administration and now she is charged with felony criminal charges. Yeah and and. I think that his being a friend for four decades to donald trump is interesting in also that we got a speaking in diamond. Here this is a forty six page. Indictment this isn't a couple of things and we just filed it but you know before we started recording. You mentioned that you know. He was picked up in los angeles and being held and it seems like he. This isn't the kind of the normal way this goes right. Normally you're charged. You get a letter you turn yourself in. He was arrested. This is this is reminiscent to me of.

"In two thousand eighteen the new york times. Has i report that in the run up to the two thousand sixteen election former president donald trump's son donald trump junior met with a man deeply connected in the middle east. He was there as an emissary of two powerful princes from saudi arabia and united arab emirates according to the times that emissary from saudi and uae told don jr. that those two countries saudi arabia and the Were both eager to do whatever they could to help. Donald trump get elected president that november also at that meeting with donald trump's son was according to the times they quote specialist in social media manipulation the times reports that his firm had drawn up a multi-million dollar proposal for a social media manipulation effort. That could be used secretly covertly to manipulate the electorate to help. Donald trump got elected. It was groundbreaking reporting from the new york times back in two thousand eighteen and of course we never found out for sure whether or not that social media manipulation plan ever went into effect whether saudi arabia and the united arab emirates actually did end up supporting or it acting or funding some sort of covert plan to help manipulate social media in the us to help change voter views and voter behavior to help. Donald trump become president a lawyer for don jr. denied that he had ever seriously entertained such an idea the Descr the man who is described in the social media manipulator. He denied it all to But today we can add an interesting new data point. We learned from today's indictment of the donald trump inaugural inaugural chairman. Learned that tom. Barrack was allegedly working with the at that time to influence both the trump campaign and us policy according to the indictment. Tom barrack flew to morocco on august. Third two thousand sixteen to present this major proposal to his friends and the in terms of a new strategic alignment between that country and the united states. That date ends up being sort of important. In retrospect because on that exact same date that trump tower meeting was underway where a representative from the united arab emirates offering to help donald trump get elected with a multi-million dollar covert social media campaign on his behalf. What was going on there. between the trump campaign and his advisors and the united arab emirates yet another trump advisor now indicted as a secret foreign agent. Tom died. Tom barbaric accused by prosecutors of secretly working essentially on the uae payroll to affect us government policy and the behavior of that campaign. But that does. Today's indictment get us any closer to figuring out how we got messed with by other countries both in terms of secret foreign agents but also potentially interference in our electoral affairs in two thousand sixteen and be awed joining us. Now is david kirkpatrick. He's national correspondent for the new york. Times he's one of the reporters bylined on that story about the meeting. And trump tower first reported in two thousand eighteen. Mr kirkpatrick through pleasure to have you here. Thank you so much. I let me know if i've got any of this wrong. I feel like. I've i've learned all of this stuff as it has come out over the months and years and then you never know which part of it you're gonna have to go back to learn again. Remind yourself who's connected to who and who's been indicted already and who's been pardoned. Let me just ask you from your understanding. If i if i screwed any this up in the way that i told him. I think you've gotta pre right. It's pretty confusing. I've got to say. I'm going to add one more confusing a part of this. You've outlined at couple of parallel influence operations. One that went through tom barrack. Trump's best friend a businessman who's done business with trump also with these persian gulf princes. Then there's another one. Which is a george nader an emissary from the uae. Whose subsequent been convicted of pedophilia. Who was in there in trump tower trying to sit at the social media manipulation scheme. You gotta add that a.

"Prosecution specifically to refer him to the justice department to prosecutors in the eastern district of new york for potential criminal prosecution as a foreign agent near times. I report that in the summer of twenty nineteen will now almost exactly two years later. It is in fact that. Us attorneys office in the eastern district of new york. That has in fact brought a prosecution. Today against in fact. Tom barrack for in fact allegedly being a secret foreign agent. I don't know why it took two years. For muller's criminal referral of tom barrack. As a potential foreign agent to produce an unsealed indictment to that end but two years almost to the day since that was first reported here it is and in the indictment unsealed today prosecutors allege that the the people tom barrack showed that draft speech to during the trump campaign might have been redacted in his fbi notes. From the mueller investigation. But in the indictment they spell it out they say the people who he showed the draft speech to were representatives of a foreign government representatives of the government of the united arab emirates. They alleged that tom barrack would go on to run. The trump inauguration. It'd be one of trump's biggest fundraisers they allege that he essentially let a foreign government right portions of that speech to their own liking for their own purposes. It's a forty five page seven. Count felony indictment unsealed today. And it names to defendants other than tom barracks. It's tom barrack. But it's also Somebody who worked for him at his company colony capital amending mathew grimes And also a businessman from the united arab emirates. She'd elma leak. Tom barrack and the other guy from colony capital they were both arrested and both arraigned today. But the third. Defendant in this indictment the guy from united arab emirates. He was not prosecutors. Say he is still at large. They are seeking his arrest in conjunction with this indictment. They say mr on lake was questioned by f. b. i. Agents in conjunction with this matter in two thousand nineteen and thereafter. He left the united states. Just a few days after that interview with the fbi and he has never been back in the united states. Since after tom barrack spoke with the molar investigators himself. We know that he spoke with the fbi again. In june of twenty nineteen four of the felony counts against mr barrick are for him allegedly lying to investigators during that second round of questioning. The indictment unsealed today says he lied to investigators when he told them he was never asked to do anything on behalf of the united arab emirates. The indictment says he lied when he denied to those investigators that he got a special phone and a encrypted app for him to use to communicate with officials in the united arab emirates. they say that he The the indictment says he lied when he denied putting then president elect trump and other us government officials in contact with government officials from the united arab emirates. And again tom. Barrack has pled not guilty to all of it. The four lying to investigators counts the foreign agent. Count the conspiracy count -struction of justice. He's pled not guilty to all of it. But here's the thing i want to know about. What the indictment of trump's inaugural chairman. Tom barrack makes clear is and i wound a lot of people from the trump administration and the trump campaign have been arrested and wow a lot of them are either alleged or confessed secret foreign agents that remains unsettling that can happen once it can presumably happen again but also what damage was done there more specifically in this case though the picture that is laid out in the indictment. It's a really really usually. I read from the court documents here. I'm not doing that at length today because the document is the indictment is really really dense. It's a little bit like reading math in some cases. But if you can sign it if you can read all of its worth readings forty five pages. It's not that long kind of sit with per second. You do get this kind of scary overall picture. Which is what prosecutors are saying happened here with this secret foreign agent operating at the top of the trump campaign and the trump transition and the trump inauguration prosecutors say are saying here is that this was a really successful operation. This worked very well for the united arab emirates. And for tom barrack it was a very successful very lucrative thing for both sides right up until the handcuffs moment for mr barrot today. I mean as laid out in the indictment. The united arab emirates got a lot out of having this guy highly placed source in this highly placed. Part of the us government. They got a heads up on who the new administration was picking for. Its top foreign policy and national security positions. They got to exert influence over. Who was considered by the trump administration to be ambassador to the united arab emirates. They literally got to script language from this advisor to the new president that he used in all his media interviews around the campaign praising emirates and it's leaders total boot-licking terms. They loved that they wrote the language for him to use in those interviews from him they got according to prosecutors. They got inside or help turning the united states in an abrupt u-turn abrupt one eighty against a country. That's their rival cutter. They turned us against cutter even though the. Us has a longstanding relationship with cutter and a gigantic us military base. There prosecutors allege that tom barrack as the sort of inside man for this foreign country got the trump administration in the. Us government to do that. They got language. They wanted from trump in that big energy speech that he did on the campaign. The one for which tom barrack sent in his notes on the draft they got inside or help inside the trump administration scuttling a trump administration. Plan that there should be a big camp. David meeting involving the warring gulf states united arab emirates didn't want that according to the indictment they got tom barrack to get called off over and over and over again. They got what they wanted because they had this highly placed source at the very top of the us government. They got what they wanted. Worked for them. And tom barrack he worked for him to. Of course the new york times reporting that in the three years after trump became the republican nominee for president in the summer of two thousand sixteen in the three years following him getting the nomination the and their close ally the saudis collectedly shoved one. Point five billion dollars into.

"The trump inauguration in two thousand seventeen was not that they had like a dj guy who played electronic drums sits drum sets that would like laid up and do special effects when he hit them. They had a group called the piano guys. Yeah i mean instead of like a listener entertainment. It was a tractor parade and empty bleachers along the inaugural parade route because there weren't enough people there to even fill out the parade route. Big swath of emptiness on the national mall which famously infuriated trump on his first day in office and ultimately set the tone from day one of ordering people who worked in government to start lying for him even about easily checkable obvious and petty things the small size and the small crowds and the sad little events of the trump inauguration were story unto themselves of course but more importantly there was just this huge mismatch between these small scale the event and the huge amount of money that they raised and supposedly spent on it. I mean how do you do an event. That is a sliver a fraction of the size of the previous version of that event. But you spend more than twice the money doing it. Where does the money go in the years since the wall street journal and other news outlets have reported that not one but two. Us attorney's offices opened investigations into suspicious spending around the trump inaugural allthough as of yet. We haven't seen those investigations bear fruit in the form of any public facing indictments the torney general in washington. Dc is now pursuing a case against the trump inaugural committee that alleges that It was essentially used as a piggy bank to dump money into trump's private business into the trump organization and that suit in washington dc continues. Meanwhile the vice chair of the trump inaugural man named elliott brady was indicted. He pled guilty to secretly working as an agent of a foreign power trump. Pardoned him again. He was the vice chair of the trump inauguration. Now today it is. The chairman of the inauguration tom barrack who has also been charged with being a foreign agent while he was working on the trump campaign and for the trump transition and for the trump inaugural and once trump was in office. And if this this type of crime sounds like it's becoming a familiar theme. It might be because you remember that trump national security advisor mike. Flynn was also charged with being a secret foreign agent while he was working for trump's campaign and while he was working in the white house mike flynn was also eventually pardoned by then president trump. But there was that truly unnerving foreign agent case against flynn's business partner we're prosecutors in court laid out the case that flynn and his business partner had been on the payroll of a foreign country wall. Trump had them working on things. Like oh. I don't know vetting candidates to be director of the cia. Congratulations trump's first. cia director. Mike pompeo to the guys who helped choose you for that job. According to prosecutors were secret foreign agents working for another country when they picked you. Flynn of course was pardoned his business partner who was charged in that case about the The the foreign agent of the foreign agent charges his case has been banging around in the courts for more than a year now but we are expecting his case back in federal district court soon for sentencing proceedings. That may shed some some further light there. But boy is it uncanny. How many people were working at the top levels of the last administration and the campaign that created the last administration. Who a were felons and be were secret agents of foreign powers or their alleged to be so by prosecutors. In the case of tom barrack who was arrested in california today arrested Excuse me a rain this afternoon in federal court in california. Tom barrack is pleading not guilty. His lawyer says he is not guilty. Tom barrack will be held in custody for the next week or so until he has another bail. Hearing next week on monday in court in los angeles. But it's interesting in this. Tom barriques with the indictment unsealed. Today the prosecution here appears to derive still after all this time from the molar investigation. Thanks to an epoch. Spree of freedom of information act prying from buzzfeed reporter jason leopold. We actually have the fbi notes from the interview. Tom barrack did with investigators from the miller team. Back in january of twenty eighteen it was a wide ranging interview that he did with them. The notes covered like nineteen pages single space. But if you read all the way through it there on page eighteen of nineteen. is tom barrack. Telling the muller smaller teams investigators about a campaign speech that trump gave on the issue of energy while he was running for president in may of two thousand sixteen. Tom barrack tells muller's investigators that he provided his own draft. Comments are his comments on the draft of the speech that he was provided but before he gave his comments the notes from this fbi interview. Show that tom. Barrack quote shared the draft with redacted redacted redacted redacted eric asked each of the tone and technical aspects of the draft speech before you gave comments on a speech that this candidate was going to give on energie. You showed it to blanket a blanket. A blanket a blanket blink. Why is that still redacted. Those are the records from the muller investigation. Those parts of it are redacted. We got that through a freedom of information. Act request then lasts. Excuse me two summers ago. In the summer of two thousand eighteen the new york times reported that whatever it was that was behind those redacted boxes something about the muller teams interactions with tom barrack during their investigation. Something about what he told them when he interviewed with them for their investigation led robert muller's team to refer tom barrack.

Donald trump on behalf of the united arab emirates prosecutors in the eastern district york today. Unsealing a huge seven count. Forty six page. Indictment go through it. We've got a reporter. Who's reporting on this. But this is a very important development a bunch of reasons not the least of which because when we last met here at this desk last night we were talking about the fate of the rule of law in the air of donald trump and particularly in the period where the justice department changed hands from attorney general in bar and then the final days of the trump administration. The lackey jeff rosen to joe. Biden's new attorney. General merrick garland last night. Here on this program. We were critical of the fact that justice department had according to reporting declined to prosecute trump's secretary of commerce wilbur. Ross that was according to reporting from both the associated press and government executive. Now that decision not to prosecute a came after the commerce department's own inspector general found at loss had lied to congress about a citizenship question that he wanted to add to the twenty twenty cents. We have an important update to that story. The government executive have both issued corrections. Clarifying that in fact it was the trump justice department that made the decision not to prosecute. Ross not the biden administration which is of course a very very big difference

The continental crust is the layer of grew natick sedimentary amid them offic rocks which forms the continents in the areas of shallow seabed close to their shores is the continental shelves. It's list dance. The janik crust material and therefore floats on top of it unlike previous research which is based on strontium isotopes and marine cabinets which are usually either scarce or altered in rock more than three billion years old new study by scientists from the university of bergen looked at the mineral barrett which forms from sulfates emotion water mixing with barium from hydrothermal vents and thus holds an unchanging record aversion chemistry. Going back through time. The authors calculated the ratio of strontium isotopes in six different deposits of barrack from three different continents range in age from three pointed three point. Five billion years this allowed them to determine win with continental rock populated into the ocean and was incorporated into barrett the authors determined that the weathering started about three point seven billion years ago. "I will tell you that i. That woman assaulted me. I was. I cried afterwards. Like i'm not even joking. Now is so painful like that was. I never wanna do that again. Because she did the nose swab but she shoved it so hard of my nose. I tasted blood. And i was looking in the mirror. I'm like oh my god she like. She punctured my nostril. I was freaking out. But like on top of that. I could not stop. Tearing like i literally was sitting in my car crying pretty much for ten minutes. 'cause i was in so much pain from it and like instinctually. Your body leans back and you like try and get away no. This lady shoved it as hard as she could into my nose and she was not gentle. She was sassy about it. She was just like i get in there and i felt very attacked like this is not very nice of her. You know what's funny is. Everybody keeps telling me about. This knows while they had. I didn't have another swab. Had a throat swab and strep throat. Test was worse than the fucking throat. Swab for the for the cova test for me like straight at that see. That's why i don't get mean. Why wear masks you know. They can't swallow the mouth. The masses there to prevent right shouldn't coming out in the your nose. I mean if you were to sneeze as well. But i mean so why. Why all of a sudden you fucking stab me a goddamn brain to the news. You know you can swap them out for fuck sake. May i can do. Dna tests all day long doing that. But for some reason you can't test. I simple thing but i wear massive public personally. I don't like spit or dna test. I don't like them because they can be so fluctuating. It's not even funny like i. I know someone who had a parental dna too and they had six different says and every single one of them was different. Like what everything. I'm not joking. And they were from professional places and they've done a saliva. Dna tests in every single. One of them are different. And i'm like how is that even possible. They all had different percentages and everything. And i'm like that's not possible. That has legally legitimately not possible. But they were. He showed me every single one of them. In every single one of them at a different percentage. And i'm like dude maury povich today right now light i feel sorry. I'm just saying i mean you know i understand why you would get one but at the same time i don't like them i there's some women would be like yeah we have. Dna tests being blood tested. Three times backed back in same day at once. Straight up spending must shit especially ninety nine percent of my ex's So so i get it. I don't still stand salah. Dna tests though. I'll never understand that. Net is probably the dumbest dna tests. You can take but hey whatever anyway Frosty you said. Are you still there or sleeping. I don't know if he came back or not You said yeah. I've never seen him say anything else because it's he's fixing his balls. They're made us know everybody. That's what i'm talking about Since he's fixing the snowballs. How's your week going not bad against recovering Got home last saturday from the hospital too. Quick little when our show and you know that was about an hour and a half after getting home but No not too bad. I mean. I honestly think this is probably one of the best things i could have done I guess the the pain in the left hip was getting to be just about as bad as the pain in the right and it was a right hip. That's was you know the one that was collapsed. Well really quick before you go any further the pain in my ass that you give me didn't get fixed. Well brother can't help it. We were day. And that's all i can say. Fifty fifty gallon drum from small don's zone dot com. Maybe pharma charity choice. K y jelly can get it right. Now don't ask us how we knew that if you haven't been listening to this show. Yeah i've been paying attention. You missed out and sorry right but Yeah i mean. I guess the pain in the left hip Soon as the surgery was done was gone. I mean there's no pain in that lifted anymore. the pain in the right hip is actually gone. It's just the surgical area. The like nice twenty twenty five inch scar. They got going down from you know butt cheek down to you. Know you're li- mean that that's it got staples in it and and it really doesn't mean hurt anymore. I quit taking a pain pills. And i'm just. I mean it's like a motherfucker. That's that's the worst part of it right now. Other the madman my week has been pretty relaxed. Just like i said taken an easy Getting up getting down. You know going to the bathroom walking on keeping keeping moving but we're not going running marathons or anything like that anytime soon. But you don't expect me to do that ever decade ago right but Yeah i feel fucking great. I mean it's like. I said the doctor the fantastic job like i said i kind of try to mess the nurses as much as i could while i was there. Because you know they're going to kovic it to and i'm sure they're tired of cranky ass. You know veterans coming in there and dealing with them and just you know everybody else. So i try to make them laugh was much as i could and i think they appreciated so we you know we had a good time our there. We talked about this briefly in the pre show. And it's probably going to make it to the patriarch podcast but During all of this you found out your left side was going down the road as you're right side and you had the same if not the exact equal pain on your left sad now with the hip replacement. You've obviously got rid of that. Hip pain aside from surgery pain. How has the paint on your left side. soup subsided or gotten worse or have you been able to tell you think you'll tell more as you're able to you know. Do more rehab her. I think yeah. Once i start walking on a little bit more. You know a flare up little bit but As far as they could tell from the last x ray that was done Park to the surgery They noticed that. Yes it does have awesome across in the hip but the actual Top of the femur. That were nice. Smooth round ball. This goes into your hip socket. That had not collapsed. Like the right side. Did right and you know..

"Radio I bring to tears as it are to replace welcome barrack and we are going to be up to date with any developments in the LA area in California in regards to nineteen provides the virus there there are breaking headlines from Europe and Asia that should affect us and just to sort of reset the table of give you a big picture of what's going to happen the next couple hours because of some phone calls that I heard and some tweets that I saw I'm so far because I heard that that Neil surveyed were dead and I think I can reveal that the former reporter is Neil so Vader so some phone calls that I heard really discourage me and it occurred to me that it's not your fault however you work well one particular phone call he said this is all over blown perhaps you'd skip the day or perhaps that day never came when they talk about the nineteen eighteen influenza pandemic around the world and to be perfectly honest with you one roll of eight public health department is informing the public keeping them up to date with what they know what they can confirm but also explaining their actions I think they've been a giant fail I'm explaining their actions and if any of you are over a hundred and two years old you may have a living memory of the last time a pandemic this serious of the human race but none of you are and if any doctors are now have a living memory they would have to be about a hundred and fifteen or so I mean so short version there is no one alive however luckily nineteen eighteen they kept great records so I'm I'm gonna go over this and I let me start by saying this if you're someone who says that this is an over reaction just what we've done in LA just just away if you say it's an over reaction then you don't know something that I do now and that is it is customary when a pandemic is detected to over react you know why you even have the cortex is firing without thought it because somebody in your genetic past survived V. every couple decades pandemic said hit every single continent on this planet every once a while as as time went on they became pandemic like a hundred and two years ago now it's been a hundred years maybe in fifty years we get another one then twenty five years after that so that's going to be sort of the body of a couple hours I did a walk through of the whole foods here in Burbank and this might be the only grocery store where the bacon section is untouched and the vegan meat alternative was gone bare shelves I put a video up on the the Twitter at dark secret place does not have a longer shelf life the vegan stuff I I don't know I I don't know who I mean you can freeze I don't know this did you know you can freeze bacon I didn't know that I never thought of it I don't stick around long I do I buy those double tax at the cosco the fix stuff N. it was it was going bad in the fridge and then one day I just said yeah WTF am I threw it in the freezer and when it came it's time a month later we thought it out and it was bacon it was bacon can't ruin it I'm so I just have to play this because somebody did a remix there is that Chinese guy that I play mmhm so we did a re Max to the Korean singer the size Gandham style.
