"Number any number, whatever it may be, we got a number in side, but we want a magic number, all right? This is where we're gonna pick a few big cards, the Internet auction of the next couple of days. And we're gonna try and guess how much they sell for in advance. Throw out a number. We got one too. Three interesting cards this week for magic number. And I was racking my brain a little bit on some of these. Very difficult. Let's just put it that way. We got modern day cards. Of rookies. We have a card that does not sell very often. And we have a vintage Laker card, which is near and dear to your heart a little bit. So let's start there. Let's start with the 1986 flir sticker Kareem Abdul-Jabbar PSA 9 this comes with the exceptional PWC designation for I appeal, meaning it's in the top 15% of all mint 9s the centering is fantastic. Talk to us a little bit about this card, maybe the importance of the set and give us your best guess. You're on the T boxer. That's scary. I hope I can get off the tea box. This card is the, this is the lowest pop of any card for all of 1986 flir or flir stickers in PSA ten. It's only a 14. And if you've done research, yeah, if you've done a research on this card, you know that it goes for a couple hundred grand when it sells in a PSA ten. But they're very difficult to find set collectors, look for this card left and right, because it's the one that escapes them. I've seen a decent amount of PSA tens in my opinion. This card could easily ten. I mean, it looks it's slightly cockeyed. Slightly, but it is a beautiful, beautiful copy and a PSA 9. And with tens going for over $200,000, whatever this sells for is going to be a bargain in comparison, which from an IPO perspective looks every bit the part of a PSA ten and I guarantee you is nicer than a handful of tens that exist today. This does have a PWC CE and typically these without the PWC sticker self for around $4000. But this one being as pretty as it is, maybe there's an arbitrage play for someone to try to bump it to a PSA ten. Look, because of the political nature of it, I don't advise you doing that. I don't think it's going to ever happen. They basically just handing you yeah, exactly. They're basically handing you a 6 figure check if they bump that. They'll take their 6 pieces of silver, but they don't typically like doing that. So I do have this card going pretty drastically over what a normal PSA 9 would sell for. I've got this one at $7212. Interesting. Okay. To your point, you look at this card, it is beautiful, fantastic centering. Minimal to no hourglass, which kind of makes some of these cards look a little funky with this set. Huge set that we've talked about all the time, right? 1986 flir basketball. You have just nothing but iconic players, key rookies like Jordan Barkley Malone, Dominique, drexler, Patrick Ewing. This scream sticker is awesome because of the action shot, right? It's that the famous sky hook. It's the hook on the photography. And I think the photography is better than the base image where he's like, it's way better. The stickers are somewhat conditioned sensitive as you alluded to, only 277 PSA 9s. So I know a decent amount of these have sold recently four alone at PWC since December. The last E sticker PSA 9 cream sold for $5040 on December 11th. You're at 7800, did you say? 72, 7200. That's cheese. That's actually a really good number here. I'm going to come in a touch below you. The E sticker makes me a little concerned going lower than this. I was in the 6s, but I don't. I kind of want to leave a gap here with vintage. I was going to come in nestled under you, but let's leave a little bit of a gap here just for the sportsmanship of this. Let's go with 6600 on the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar sticker for me. The next one. Go ahead. I was going to say, I would not be shocked if the card finished between the two of us. I think that that's going to work. I was coming in a little higher. Let's just, like, a vintage is interesting because as a lot of our listeners know about. The delta between our guesses is much smaller than I think what we're going to have this next card. But yeah, just let's create a little bit of a gap there just for some for some sportsmanship here. The next one probably my favorite card of the bunch. And you're going to have me on the T box first. I intimated earlier in the show I can't get off the T box. So this one's going to be, I think, very difficult. It certainly. Prevents a not prevents. I think there's a potential for us here to get some mud on our face and look really stupid. It's the 2001 SP legendary cuts honus Wagner autographed hand numbered to 24 in PSA near mint 8. Iconic cut set, right? There had been previous cut autographs in 99 and 2000, but a minimal amount. And then all of a sudden in L one upper deck really just embraced this. They put their stamp on it. They're like, hey, we're going to come hardcore and dedicate a set basically with all cuts. And so here you have SP legendary cuts. Greatest players of all time are in this set, right, Ruth, Jack, Clemente, Eric DiMaggio, you name it. Most know this, but we do have a little bit of a crossover gambling audience that's just starting to dip their toes into the water effectively what a cut autograph is upper deck or whatever company would acquire old checks or letters or contracts that were signed by these fires. Yeah. And I think that's actually what's on this one because you look at some of the other versions that have sold, there's other writing on there, there's some checks, there's some interesting stamping going on, but basically, you'd cut out the autograph, make cards, design around the large autograph. Lebron james yeah basketball you out of this world but he's also arguably the greatest natural athlete the world's ever seen so like it makes sense that jaanus will dominate and it makes sense that he should be great and so yeah of course there's a visual component and you mentioned dr jay's hands and you mentioned the iconic plays the the block and the dunk that he had in this series you can count on less than one hand how many human beings alive could have done either of those things much less both of them by the way what. Chris paul's future. I do think the lakers would fit but there is something to be said about. I don't know. Frank vogel is going to be there in a year. I know money williams will. Meanwhile his teammates who have been in five six seven all star games. They're coming in from the night before they're going to the jordan party they're doing a footlocker signing they're coming in twenty minutes before the game. Yarmuth went out there and competed as if it were the nba finals. And even steph curry. Say dude slow down. This is a is pageantry. This is an exhibition. But he's so dialed in as a competitive so locked in. Think about this space jam which was supposed to come out last summer. The new lebron version of space jam is coming out this friday space jam new legacy an all week on the rich eisen show counting down my five favorite basketball films of all time.
