So explain to me with what logic could you raid a president's home if he still has the highest clearances cash Patel? You can't with the logic of politics. The Department of Justice has become the department of politics. And so as this FBI, because nobody's rating Barack Obama's home, where he has 30 million pages of information, a lot of which is classified, he hasn't released one single page of it to the national archives. Here you have president Trump the most transparent president in modern American history, giving documents in the national archives declassifying them and telling him to get him out, but only to have the national archives, and I know this because I'm president Trump's representative to the national archives and have been fighting to get these documents out. They're not rating Obama's home. They're not reading bush's home. They're not reading Jimmy Carter's home. They're not reading Bill Clinton's home. And this is the hypocrisy and the two tier system of justice on full display. He wants the American people to see the documents that show the corruption and this is me just making a guess, but I think the documents that they seize that Mar-a-Lago show more government corruption by the FBI and DoJ. And if that's the case, it shows the politicization of our law enforcement, just like when I ran rush again. Remember, Devin and I only got 60% of the documents out. President Trump declassified the rest, but because of bureaucracy and The White House counsel, they were never released. All right,

With Trump lawyer Christina bob, and I think I'm struck listening to both those women about their just sense of incredulity. That this is happening in America, a raid on not just a former president. That would be like rating George W. Bush's home. Trump remains the leading figure in the Republican Party. He is the most likely contender for 2024. And all of that makes what's happening even more ominous. You've got an regime in which Biden, who ran against Trump in 2020 and might run against Trump in 2024 going after Trump by having the DoJ having his thugs having his police force. Raid Trump's house. Now, it takes a special Trump derangement not to see that this is out of line. Especially since no adequate rationale has been supplied. I mean, if you're waiting for a press conference in which Biden and Kamala Harris say, listen, we came up with this new information. There's a gray, violation of law, and we were forced to take action and take action now and not just take action now, but take action in this way. It would not have been enough for us to demand the return of these documents. It would not be enough to go through normal processes. We had to send people with long guns. None of this was even happened. No rationale has really been supplied. There have been these vague references to the archives and classified information. And again, you have to be, you know, almost nuts. Just think that that's a reasonable justification. I mean, just Trump himself pointed out that Hillary Clinton, you know, deleted an ass and washed 33,000 emails after those emails were subpoenaed by Congress. Think about that.

George Bush obviously, when he left The White House, there was an ongoing negotiation about his papers and documents and what was and what it wasn't a presidential record under the act. And I just, I see, you know, again, you talk about the two tiered system of justice. I see that there is an inconsistency here with how Donald Trump's being treated versus other presidents and it's quite frankly it's disgusting.

We saw this on the House oversight committee just a couple of weeks ago. How concerned should we because if you start losing manufacturers? Then that's the way to go to a total gun free society. If that's what they're dream is. Exactly right. I mean, people should just ask themselves, do I like buying new firearms? If all the gun manufacturers have been driven out of business. Now right now, in 2006, president George Bush signed legislation protecting gun makers from exactly what you're talking about. Not from liability if the gun malfunctions and explodes in your face. No, the gun manufacturers liable. But this is protects them from liability if the gun is working as it should. It's just that a bad guy took it and used it to commit murder. Okay, so that's what and you laid out the case, you know? We don't do this with Ford or any of the other car manufacturers, right? The car is working fine. Somebody uses it to drive through a parade. You don't hold the car manufacturer accountable. So this is very, very serious because the anti gun Democrats are talking about repealing that law. The reason that law was passed is because they were the left was bringing dozens, scores of court cases, frivolous court cases against the manufacturers, and even if they lost, it still forced the gun manufacturers to pay thousands or hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars defending themselves. You know, so even if they stay in business, the items that you love to purchase, the new products, the new firearms, they're going to cost a lot more.

When that happens, those people will not be able to get done what they want to get done because all of these supposedly nonpartisan nonpolitical appointees who are not confirmed by the Senate or career bureaucrats, these people all agree with the left, and so the idea is that they will be able to stymie the worst excesses of the evil Republicans who take over. This obviously this obviously was a major obstacle for Donald Trump during his presidency when apparently the entire FBI or at least large segments of it were virulently. Well, it turns out that there's a group of people and one or two in the democratic side and two or three on the Republican side. And they've decided that the solution is a new party. A third party, a centrist party that they call the forward political party. Well, it's kind of a weird name, first of all. And it sounds a little socialist to me. Doesn't like it, she goes, it sounds well, I mean, forward sounds a little bit like progressive. It sounds a little bit like, but I suppose what they would say is we're trying to find a way forward out of the polarization. Now, who's involved Andrew Yang now Andrew Yang is the tech nerd who ran for office. I think he ran for New York. And then he ran for mayor in 2021. And then he said, that's it. I'm out of the Democratic Party. Now that by itself is a good thing, but evidently Yang thinks that there is space for a new party and he's joined by some Republicans, although these are kind of has been former, old, establishment type of Republicans who are part of the, you know, the George H. W. Bush administration or the George W. Bush administration, so there is one guy who was part of the Trump administration, miles Taylor, a former Homeland Security official. And then David jolly, a former Republican congressman, a Christine Todd Whitman, a former Republican governor. Notice a common theme here, it's former. These are basically people who have lost office, can't really gain much traction, it seems like time has passed them by. They have no real constituency. So I think they kind of feel like if you put a bunch of losers together, you might get a winner by loser plus loser, plus loser equals winner, but generally loser plus loser plus loser equals three losers.

And what you have to think is, if you were responsible, a responsible political leader, even if you were on the left, you would realize that by criminalizing dissent by trying to criminally prosecute your political opponents, you are, this is the height of irresponsibility. You are going to throw the country into a divide, a debate, a conflict that escalates.

And the way the media has responded is a new line of attack that you can see in kind of the smart coordinated circles, the people that are considered to be smarter than not. However, they are all kind of coordinating their attacks around Christian nationalism, play cut 94. Over the last few weeks, since I had the honor, this term of writing, I think, the only Supreme Court decision in the history of that institution that has been lambasted by a cold string of foreign leaders. Who felt perfectly fine commenting on American law. One of these was former prime minister Boris Johnson. But he paid the price, Matt kind of mocking Boris Johnson there, Sam Alito, who I think is the best thing George W. Bush ever gave us, probably my favorite member of the court. They're attacking him as being a Christian nationalist. What do they mean by that, Matt? Well, in their minds, of course, they think Christian nationalism is a smear. They think both of those words are bad. And if you put them together, it's too bad things. And that's one big bad thing, and it's a scary monster, which I think in their minds means something like handmaid's tale and enforced Christian religion. They think it's racist too, somehow they seem to only regard whites as Christians, interesting. But white people who are Christian controlling the country and shoving their views down everyone else's throat is what they mean by it. And the hilarious thing here is that neither of those words are bad and when you put them together, you actually get what I think millions of people throughout the country think is normal.

How after four incessant years of the then incumbent being called an islamophobe a misogynist and nationalist, a white supremacist and then eventually a Nazi that he received more support in the 2020 election from black and Hispanic Americans than any incumbent Republican since the 1960s. So what was it about him that made so many members of the minority communities kind of have that wake-up moment? It's the delivery. It's the consequence. It's the results. When you are looking around, I mentioned this in my book that there are black Americans who are saying, hey, my son, are my nephew, has finally left my basement and is moving out to their own apartment, record numbers of black Americans started their own jobs, started their own careers, started their own businesses. This is a sea change. And one of the reasons Joe Biden is so unpopular today with the minority community is it's not like as bad as it was under Obama. Under Obama, we had a stagnant economy. We have a stagnant economy now. But under George W. Bush, the economy had started to slow down. So the 8 years of the Obama administration was more like the frog in the pot cooking and suddenly finds out that it's been boiled to death without realizing it.

And some asshole barrels through and knocks Christa over. So I grabbed the guy and I smack him around and then I pulled him outside and I threw him out to pavement and all the bouncers knew me and liked me 'cause I'd always hand them 20 bucks, whatever I walked in. So bear with me through this last bathroom day. I just saw that Paula Abdul, the great Paula Abdul, turned 60 years old the other day. And that makes me think of the time when she and I were talking quite a bit and we've actually went on a date, actually. I was 1999 or 2000 somewhere around there. You know, she was a huge hit on American Idol and I used to see her in the gang at my favorite restaurant back then in West Hollywood, I go after the show was done taping, Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest, and Paula Abdul and all head to the restaurant. Simon was already, you know, Simon was always pulling chicks on his lap. Ryan Randy were always avoiding chicks. Which I found weird. Or illuminating, and Paul was kind of like a little lost at the table in the middle of all that stuff. And one night my agent told me that actually my manager told me he was handling her for a little bit and I asked him, you know, look, can you ask her if I can call her? And she was a bit coy, eventually she gave up her number to my manager to call for me to call her. And this is before she was accused of all sorts of crazy shit, you know, drugs, et cetera. She was just the lovely Paula Abdul, you know, straight up now tell me, do you really make it want me forever? She was that chick, but now she had American Idol to, you know, put up on her banner. And we talk for hours, her and I and when I say hours, I don't mean to. Okay? She will go on and on about what you didn't like about the show about how much pain she was in, you know, what the producers do to the contestants to make it more dramatic. If you look at the pictures of Pauline and my book of Barbara Bush's mother in my book, you see a little bit of Nancy Reagan in her. I think that that triggered Barbara. And I think that I think that, you know, the fact that Nancy was critical of Barbara Bush. And critical of the bushes, and she called them the shrubs. Instead of the bush. You know, that kind of criticism reminded Barbara of her childhood. It triggered her and they had 8 years of complexity, which I wrote about in the book. And but I'm a big fan of Nancy Reagan's, but you know what, I'm a big fan of all first ladies. You know, I think that offers ladies have, you know, a responsibility and a job that is un it's not described. Like we know what the president's job is. "The bush family one thing that I hope I told you the story but one of the things that I couldn't tell anyone at the time when George Bush passed away is that right before he died when President Bush died last year before he died they were bringing in America some of his favorite authors to read to him and I got the call and so I went there I was in Kennebunkport Maine with my wife we went into president bush's house and secret service tell me what you're gonna read collect five ten minutes because you're going to fall asleep you know he just played a lot these days and I am honored to be here and it was right in my book the first conspiracy about the super popular George Washington income now when I go into his room and I noticed at the end right and the secret service leave it's just me and my wife President Bush and a service dog Sally and we know it's the end and I take out a copy yet on a desk the stack of books and one of the books on there is a copy of my book the first Insperity about the plot to kill George Washington and I said I'm sure you want to read this book and he said because any it yet a copy was like dog year without reading I can see how many times that he gave me a blurb on the book you love the book I think you want to read it to them because they can't speak anymore just because of how or and so I'd bring him the chapter when George Washington presents the declaration of independence to its troops for the very first time I had to read to his troops and sure enough five minutes ten minutes into the chapter president bush falls asleep and I'm just like I'm gonna finish the chapter and and make my way out of here and as I get to those words those words we all know we hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal I am not joking president bush's highs popped open and he's wide awake like as if it's a lifeblood for himself and I get to the end of the chapter still wide awake at this very worried other chapter huh another I get to be on that one right around there huh instead of being there for five minutes I'm there for an hour Brian and we went to his funeral my wife and I when we got back you know the one thing it is funeral that I remember everyone said the word kept being used over and over what is this where decency decency and yes it's because he's such a decent man but it's also because I think the culture war right now start being for decency we need those leaders like President Bush like Abraham Lincoln those leaders of decency and humility are are what we're kind of starving for again awesome Brad what a great story and I just want to hear a little of W. over the weekend let us remember we.
