Boris Epshteyn on Today's Election Audit in Arizona

"So let's talk about frankly. It's been delayed for months. The arizona owed it. A lot of people are losing faith. Eunice got off the phone with somebody so talented baras one. Can we cautiously expect. Well you know sources of source. So i've been as you know. I've been staying abreast of what's going on in arizona really keeping a close eye on it and make and here's the deal. The audit and audit report should be the audit and audit report. The numbers don't lie ride. The process doesn't lie. So what what. I wanna make sure. Is that when we get tomorrow is the exact representation of what was found. Isn't watered down in any way is from what i understand from what i'm hearing. We are going to see numbers which reflect ballots and issues which are magnitude higher than the difference between president trump. joe pike county alone this mockup county alone. who's doing the audit. And do we trust them. Cyber ninjas doing the audit doug doug logan do we trust them yes and they've shown to be good people to show be honorable people that never. I don't think they've done something like this before. Because nobody's ever really done a full forensic audit of nobody's but it's a tough slog has been and also you gotta remember maricopa county's done everything they can to not turn over that of the nation and because the doj's heavy-handedness an audit to be two parts to recount. You might be on go ahead. you're on now okay. It could but it underscores the perhaps the ugliest fact of this entire affair which is that. The united states is dependent on the good graces of the taliban. It sounds insane to say that but we are dependent on the good graces of the taliban to get americans out american citizens american Not forces and those Afghans who aided the american military effort. So the the fact that you know. We're having meetings with the taliban. In which in this case i think has to be done. Underscores the dependence position that the president has put us in here now bar. Dr of course does not control al qaeda or isis or any of the other splinter groups. That are there. It is unclear to me whether or not we actually have operational security guarantees from the taliban. But the thing that i'm certain about we don't know how many americans are there and i doubt that the united states government does but do you think they have at least a minimum number. They might release to us byron. Well i was relieved to find out yesterday that there are not stranded not stranded because the white house told me that But i think it's an well. Let's say this if the if the us government knows how many americans are there and he's not saying I don't know the explanation for that. Loved Labours won: landslide in New Zealand

"This weekend New Zealand's Labour Party swept to a fairy-tale victory stunned. Prime Minister. Justin. The are dern beamed as a rapturous crowd applauded beginning her speech with a thankful molly reading. In. In tongue it Athena what? dern promised a big tent kind of administration. For every New Zealand has never been so important more than it has been now. We living in an increasingly polarized world a place where more and more people have lost the ability to see one. Another's point of view having come in for criticism during the campaign on failing to address housing shortages and poverty. She acknowledged there were difficulties ahead. Over the next three years. There is much to do. We will build back better from the covert crisis. Stronger. With an answer to the mini challenges New Zealand. Already faced. Challenges or no the scale of the win came as a surprise even to her supporters. The easiest way of describing is that it was unparalleled in modern history. I wonder why it had Austrailia and correspondent say the Labor Party which has just endured dance policy one, forty, nine percent of the and that was compared to nearly twenty seven percent for the main opposition, which is called the national policy, which is conservative that is the best result Labor's result for any policy since the fifties and it gives it a majority of seats in parliament, and that is the first time that any he's been. Able to govern on its own underneath. Zealand. System of proportional representation which has been in place since one, thousand, nine, hundred, sixty, they were winning in both provincial rural conservative strongholds, ondon rich city areas, and to give sense New Zealanders vote for both the preferred party and an MP on their ballots and labor top the preferred party votes in sixty eight of its seventy constituencies really astounding result for them and what was the the campaign like De Campaign was focused on pretty much only one subject which was the government's response to the coronavirus. It was really a referendum on how the government and I think in voters is particularly prime minister has responded to the virus that response was to shut down the borders, I to China, and then to the rest of the world and then to rally support. For, what was a very, very strict lockdown in New Zealand at the beginning of the pandemic and say, Bara brief surges pretty much. Succeeded I. Need Twenty Five people have died and that was really what the campaign focus on the fact that life has been able to return and roughly to normal people are eating out people cramming into restaurants and their normal numbers. Forty six thousand people watching rugby match against Australia, this weekend. So the campaign was very much focused on that response and the opposition kind of found it quite difficult. See Find Ground on which to oppose the government, and so the scale of that result then is just a reflection of how satisfied everyone has been with the response to the pandemic. That is the singular issue of its left remembering that before the pandemic hits. Labor a was looking the polls. The suggesting that Labor was on track to lose. This election would have been a one term government, which is not very common in New Zealand central a being. Overseas particularly, for the way that she responded to the Christ church terrorist attacks, they were much last year when these two mosques were attacked by a white supremacist and she was obviously hailed. The way she united New Zealand does after that and staunchly defended immigrants but adulation wasn't really reflected back at home until the pandemic has. So was this a vote for her or a vote for the Party and it's I think it's got to be with her and not a great deal to do with the Party and its policies. So it was a campaign that was thin on policy on both sides update from national and Labour but I think it was a set of referendum on the prime minister's response. To the coronavirus even historisches appointment submit that she's a very gifted communicator particularly in times of crisis and young people particularly look to her. She has a kind of unpretentious approachability that I think that a lot of Kiwis light and political analysts in New Zealand will say that it's very much a politics of personality though she wasn't always popular home as she was overseas. I, think that Kiwis do derive a kind of sense of pride from hug label standing as well. So in a way that has served her well at home. Speaking to damage he said that her brilliant lies in the way she plays into their sense of exceptionalism. In key, we always liked to think that set apart by more than their geography and they punch above that waits. But what about apart from the personality and crisis management and so on. What about sort of kitchen table politics? This is. Just. On the Labor government comes in for a lot of criticism because when she came to power in two thousand seventeen. Labor was making a lot of very lofty promises to do things like reduce child poverty it was going to end homelessness in New Zealand. It was going to build one hundred thousand affordable houses in ten years. Of generally make New Zealand to Faira Besser country and it's pretty much failed to deliver on every single one of those things. The Prime Minister's critics point out that almost counts of poverty and social inequality museum and actually heading quits. Houses are increasing at the moment in New Zealand increasing through the crisis. So this is a big big criticism of her detractors that she is a great at moving motivational speeches, but quite a poor Administra- certain hasn't actually got much done. So that might explain why this time around the world kind of such lofty promises it was rather more timid. But. She's still got a strong base of support is on the left who are GonNa be expecting her to do a lot more particularly now she's not in. She's she's not having to form a coalition particularly now that she can govern on her own and so to your mind the the big difference then between the first term and this coming second term is that she that Labour will be governing alone. Is the big difference with governing Elaine comes a lot more responsibility. There is still a chance that Labor form some kind of coalition with the Greens will they. They don't need. Them might be handy have degrees inside the government say they're not handling the sidelines said that could either be a formal coalition or a more informal arrangement in which the Greens folks with Labor early onset issues. So a much stronger position on a lot more pressure within this time around. But what about fulfilling all those promises in light of the economic situation? I mean new. Zealand certainly must have suffered economically from the pandemic if not quite so much as elsewhere in terms of the human cost, it is in a recession. Now the economy is going to contract by about six percent. This year unemployment is rising the wage subsidy that is coming off. So Wild New Zealand has done very well at keeping the virus out there going to be lots more questions about what that has caused it, and how it is going to drive a recovery how it's going to get out of that mess. The Prime Minister says that there is a plan for recovery which includes things like building lots of roads but to her pregnancy looks quite incremental. They out there in no big plans for tax reform for example of just third some income tax hikes. But only on the talk to percent of workers say theoretically might think that with such strong majority, they pressure more radical agenda but there are many people in New Zealand see that. So to be so popular, you've got to be fairly uncontroversial owner. Thank you very much for joining us. Thanks, Jason.

"Would have like very small chance of. Winning a trophy without messing Lee with messily like we need so many teams the fuck out like there's just no goddamn chances ever happening soon if a funny because Liverpool Fan got that taste and now they want more than Messi comes that be interesting that'd be interesting. I. I. I don't want him to come EPL I. Want him stay. Off. But if he comes I'd rather be at city than pretty much anywhere else historic number ten shirt for city worn by Rabin. Yo and GIECO. Time against somebody in that shirt though. Affirmative Okay good. Okay. Well, let's move on. We'll. We'll see. We'll. I'm sure we're GONNA talk about this again. I mean it's just an exciting cover. I hope we did it justice how interesting it is. Like. The best. To ever do it may switch clubs, Ronnie run all just did it last season? But he also started somewhere else did in also Rinaldo is in the best over. there. But like. You know the fact that you're right because macy's basically been one club kid. For. Every kid. A. Legitimate. So yeah. I it just be create secrete situation. Yeah. We'll discuss again we've always known as some characters the first time we're getting real fucking chauvet. I i. just wish I wish they were doing all or nothing on this fucking situation Adams fucking. Nobody would let us see more. SONOMA fucking season nobody. Right, we got to move on. We'll go to see their stuff we got written down. Champions League Final Chelsea molest certainly Champions League final by the way biggest game in the season just happened. Thank God. It happened that in think there'd be any chance in the world few months ago that it was going to him but yeah, it was It was a It was a great Jamesy. I think same semis as a little bit of a Downer, but the final was a lot of fun. Byron Munich are fucking lagging. What else are you going to say? The PSG holding the one goal is actually kind of impressive. Game. Silva was good. Competitor was good. The fact that was one zero is the biggest I thought one dollars atoll. How did this game in this game could have been like three to two at half time I know. How it ended ones your I never know I will never know I. thought that Spanish players stood out for me. Harare played well, not played well, and Tiago was man of the match in my opinion. Yes. Tiago was very good and if he ends up at the pool, that will be a big blow to the rest of the per league since we're GonNa talk about Liberal if they get him now be a brilliant piece of business throw that out there Yeah it was too bad for. Neymar has been playing very well even though he hadn't been scoring goals. And then he absolutely laid an egg. This came he was. Him Imbaba or just completely just shut down. And you know what I think. That's more of a testament to to Byron just being fucking wagon soloist. Good coming on. The whole team was good. who wasn't good for I mean yeah. I. Mean You could go right down the line with by Munich and they got the entire team coming back plus Lever Sanni next year. So Yikes and what a coaching decision to. Star, Coleman? Yeah Yeah as awesome. I mean he did nothing but right you know he made nothing but good decisions ever since he came in. You WanNa talk about fire and being complete team. They have the same fucking players. It's just Hansie was good. You did a good job. You gotta give them gotTa give a lot of credit. He had some flyest white kicks on the great I saw. Good luck Fiesta, crowd of PSG played well. They did they did. JERE under Harare's interview after the game no, he was just completely honest. He just basically broke down the whole game is like. Yeah we had some chances and we didn't fish. And when you do that against a team like that, you're gonNA get your ass beat. Aren't going to get killed is what he said. You'RE GONNA get killed and You know basically he he was just so honest I've heard talk before I knew English was pretty good but like he was. A gained a lot of spectrum coming off the field walking right into the interview after like the biggest game life. Funny managed completely. Honest and open about what happened is it was nice. It was. It's funny how much more likable players get when they take off the Manchester. Or? Just out of the League completely. But yeah, there's there's something to that. Okay let's do Chelsea. So Chelsea have basically been on a warpath in terms of the transfer. Enrollment Abramovich apparently sold like two of a super yachts because they are spending money like fucking. Crooked at the moment they got earner they got. I is a is habits confirmed yet or is that he's he stopped playing with levers right. I just don't know if it's officially official yet they haven't tweeted it. Okay. So it's like right on the edge. Got This Kid Maung Sar The doors they're. Like out of nowhere all of sudden Clare's Guy and then I think the one that I would emotion interested in talking about it ways goes Silva. Who they got on a free from PSG, just played in the Champions League final. So, you can't knock the guy I mean he's he's thirty five years old though. Some not gonNA knock him. I'm just GONNA say. I don't know about this move I watched him the other day he saw he's he's not a guy like you know. Win Now to win now. In well, okay and in that sense, it's it. It makes sense. I just you know th th the skills, the precipitous decline of Ama- guide it's been scarred from watching. To two seasons, two seasons too many of guys like all derailed and especially. told Natalie but yeah. On for Tongan in their skills like. Down off a cliff in their younger than Tiago. Silva. And it's just you never know when that's GonNa happen with an IT's important for guy like for a center back like to lose a step you are you go from like a really good player to being a like a very mediocre player just like that it wasn't free it was free and the guy. That you watched Sunday is going to be plucked in put in Chelsea's eleven, and that's a great thing for them. Yeah, I mean listen he's a great defender. He played well in the in the final mean he played all season PSG defense were they were lights out I mean pretty much for the Chinese leader. He's a he's a back four changer..

"Him. And if you know any anything about the Clintons and how many people. For me. How many people have accidentally committed suicide around many fifty six people that knew them have died and priorities next probably more now lot more you're I would know casually had died. The rumor was that that they got wind of the fact that. Hillary was going to try to kill him because he was going to run for the New York Senate seat in the year two thousand and of course, if he had done, you would have destroyed your regional action. He would have won hats down and she would never. She would faded into history that point problem. So there was this rumor supposedly they knew. There was a plot insulate created an elaborate ruse, a hoax to escape and basically live underground and the rumors are also that they had. They had help from very rich man. Who happens to be the president of the states? That'll. He was very good friends with JFK junior of lung photos them together to either basketball games all kinds of things. So they were very close. The. Other the really odd stuff that you get into Can get into. There's actually like a recording of K. AL supposedly FAA spokesman on Martha's Vineyard. And the guy talk is saying plane went down in this much water. We're not sure if we'RE GONNA be able to find it blah blah blah, Blah and somebody took that recording in compared it to recording of China Kennedy Juniors in their virtually identical. It's my Kennedy Junior was faking reporting about his fake death on the news from CNN. Clip it's pretty amazing. A working still listen to this. I well, you can get this stuff on the Internet people. I have to do some serious research on don't. Let me tell you the rabbit hole is deep and it's dark and there's a lot of Weirdos there but. If you start looking at from the context of they were trying to escape being murdered within I. Think it makes no sense said it's just about the Senate. It's not thing else that he run newspaper or magazine maybe they were going to do. Yet. He did run a Mac. A. Coach George and yeah, they could've run exposes on the Clintons at any time they wanted But I do think they were data opposition to Hillary I think we have to look at is you have to look at the alignment between. The Bush family the Clintons. The OBAMAS. It's pretty. Stark if you go to the history pretty amazing when you look at some of the the old photographs, photographs of Bill Clinton when he's barely twenty years old Lee sitting in a At A. Like a picnic table outside next to George Herbert Walker Bush. The the older President Bush. And sitting there like eighteen nineteen, twenty years only sitting there next George H W Bush Bush county possibly no. Yeah. So there's kind of connections between these families and I drive Kennedy was always outsider. And He made himself an outsider. He does he made himself tired. Of the people on the inside fewer called saved with the ball or whatever you WANNA call him. He definitely made himself a target juniors probably dark as well. Okay. It would take a heck of illogic convinced me otherwise well, I thought that too after, but I started going on all these different youtube videos. There's an article and I'm pretty sure. I posted it earlier on the website, but it is really in depth and I looked over at an I. "Don't you don't WanNa go there. Yeah you know which is crazy here. But it's like you'd be better off going somewhere else and that if you related to messy you know it's funny that this whole city thing happened because you know the way the Barcelona's going you would think that the the chances of messy actually leaving this summer you know may have actually gone from almost negligible to a little a little bit more than negligible given all the other shit. That's gone down but then city was I. Think odds on favourite for where he would've gone but they're not Gonna. They're not going to be able to afford them at this point That's how that's what I'm actually. If he wants to really I think challenge himself and do something different which I think he should I I think he just wanted to. Maybe reinvent himself. See stuff because it's not going to get better parcel load like do you want to say that until the end he can say goodbye. Champions League and so forth in the window that he has which is starting to close and I think about him going getting older that club thirty six thirty seven and not doing something challenging or in a different clubs. I wonder if they'll be some regrets. If there's not more to maybe he ends up as he always said going back to news and Argentina. But I would love to see and do something before that whether it's playing league and same book I could do it. I think it'd be good for his legacy but maybe just good for him Internally sure I'd have to talk some people you know maybe Chicago fire could could perhaps squeeze him in peace ladder to Work on that. But let's beat the La Galaxy Galaxy about his dad. Yeah I listen. There's a lot of issues that the fire would have to work through to get that one done but yeah no I can. A girl can dream anyway but we'll run through the the rest of Europe really quick. I know you've got Many busy things so we won't keep you too long. Spain too big games neither involving the big to interestingly enough so at letty coming off that huge win over Liverpool Champions League are hosting via Royale. That's a four V six matchup and then had taffy sort of the surprise package of Lolita this season who are in third at the moment. Place Avia so both. Those games should be quite good Germany if we had more time I'd probably Gush for hours about the baby. Jesus junior who is just continuing to do things that you know. Seventeen year old Americans other than the original baby. Jesus have has never done. You got an assist in the in the Champions League for for for Dortmund They placed Dortmund speaking Dorman. They're gonNA play verdict. Which is pretty much a yawn. Fest but there is a big game. Shulga another American Weston mckennie and shock GONNA play Red Bull. Well Yeah Red Bull Leipzig. We'll just call him. Rb Leipzig I guess. I guess they're not red. Bull RB Leipzig. Who are in second. That's a huge game. I know we've talked about the Bundesliga being perhaps the best league of the of the Bunch in Europe this year and that is a huge game with red bull. I'm watch- I'm watching right now and zero zero as you. You haven't heard any like screaming or yells in the background senior. I did I was watching it too and I pause it around the thirty minutes but then I was waiting to you. I figured at some point you can find out the score scoreless. I'll watch a little bit. Yeah you know who you know. You didn't Miss Anything based on my guttural reactions but Schulkin red bull or kind of keep calling Red Bull Schulkin rb Leipzig great game this weekend and finally in Italy we got Inter hosting Verona. Another surprise package this time in Italy. So you know inner are they are now in third place. 'cause they lost two and got leapfrogged by lot. Ceo who are coming out of nowhere at the moment to be a real threat. It looks like in Syria. It'd be a good game and I guess we'll leave it there any any parting comments. Mister Bertos. Well I'm intrigued by lot. Ceo and she'd be like who is the best score in Europe? I think it's twenty six goals. You Benji he win penalties. I love it so I I don't know if they'll have the staying car Lease keep with the event as maybe entered in front of them But it's it's great to see Let's see millions is able to do that team and exciting and it's good to have a Roman team that's Always had a couple of years and they've kind of fallen off the the the back wheel there but lots of being a good team and it. All adds to the resurgence of the city. I which is good for European football. I think your point about the Bundesliga. It starting to look like it is the Best League in Europe. It kind of happened suddenly but I think. The jet champions league vindicated. Obviously I don't know how early in Holland ended up with Dortmund. I don't know how they can get away from every big name. He's the best player in the world. It seems like no. I don't want to ski Krizner. The moment that this he's doing stuff that no one else can do. Maybe Kilian Mbappe and now he has a super team in that attack but I think with Dortmund Light sick and buying in if you re teams that are quarterfinalists in the chance although I still like. Ps G. and you add that with the excitement elitist created. This is what the kind of moving towards what the premier league enjoyed a season ago. And now is the exact opposite of seizing that staying power. If it's just sort of you know one year blip where we got all these teams that really look like world leaders. Say we'll see. Yeah so I I. It's such a compelling league. I didn't watch much fun to think at the beginning of watched more by you have to. Because it's where the accident I think in Spain it. There's not much as you said. Look at me. Grammar in. Barcelona are firmly ahead of the pack. one thing. I I do want to let you go. Madrid game via video. It's rounded we can't trust row Madrid yet. I'm waiting for them to piece together enough results where they look like the team that we expected them to look like but they just you know. Barcelona's mets ravages still can't separate themselves from them so I I'd like to see going care here but I don't trust them at this point so that I see they're playing Levante. That'd be a good place to start. You know beating up some of these teams. Yep Yep and you know Real Madrid. Speaking of whether they're going to break out or not then. They got the huge matchup against Manchester City next week in the in the Champions League on Wednesday so that is going to be an absolutely huge game that you know they got to get there. They gotta get their house in Order Rail Merger. They have a great opportunity. You know man cities dealing with that but I don't I don't like city just 'cause round again I don't trust have that hanging over the head and they could rally around at this rally around this band like the movie Major League. But they knew they're all going to break up the team one year to win it for the Cleveland Indians. And they did it. You just compare the Cleveland. Indians in Manchester City has Manchester City. A Cleveland Indians ever been compared to a team like Manchester City. Before I I really daddy ever happened in the history of the world. So I love manager Lou Brown places forty on the sidelines. Hey rallied starring Rod J. He actually spent. That's great. I love it because it's an accurate. If an accurate comparison we'll see we'll see if they rally around him or not. We'll see on on Wednesday. We'll we'll we'll find out soon enough. Max Honestly can't take enough for coming back on. We will hopefully if we're lucky enough. We'll have you back on sometime soon again. Whenever whenever you're ready. Lyle always looking forward to it pretty shame. Thanks guys thanks for listening..

"A goal and it goes do do dupe so. I changed my instead of a bulge in your bag. I put at Duke and deal along back and they went the Fans Eh. You know defense in the in the river end best themselves among in bag and they have a large piece of Styrofoam and cut. It's it looks like a and again and now when Philadelphia scores a goal they actually part of into the onion bag behind the goal. Is there for everybody to see every game and it's something I feel very proud of as well? I mean that's pretty great. But how did you? How did you settle on your not turnips or potato woods? You Know X. POTATO. Did you think that you don't have them? You do yeah. You didn't have them into bags that I need. The owners were there and he wanted to was in the bag. Would national bagging if you get potatoes? They're in a plastic bag. Or if you get turnips you know the classic here but the owns come in Nassau and the net was exactly similar to the net was used into goes out to the nets are generally white but at that time the nets were were. Can't read rusty. Okay all right well. Now I learned something. I learn something every day. There's my one learning for today. Probably won't learn anything else. So okay that makes sense Now you mentioned you did Games for Philadelphia you. I know you've been around sort of other teams. You're the voice of the metrostars. I think way back in the day now. Now the Red Bulls. What are your thoughts on on the progression of MLS? An have we had some sort of breakthrough in the last couple of years. With all these higher priced younger players coming in. Yes it's A. You know that made breakthroughs. And then they have kind of you know gone back I. It really hasn't progressed at the risk that I taught her with and I'll tell you why The first game did was forced him the metrostars and myself and Joe Tolleson went to add a and the were and the and the and the Coliseum. There were sick no was in Pasadena. Sorry Pasadena there were. Sixty nine thousand people showed up pretty GAM and the traffic jams. Were all the way out on the highway and the power of the seats were covered over. What what tops at the had to take a park and Santa? I'm Santa Joe Might God. This is unbelievable. Seventy thousand people at the first game and I said to myself this league is really going to grow from seventy thousand if it can draw seventy thousand as for scam but it hasn't happened that way and yes it has. It has made a lot of strides. And it's it's a better league than it was Dan but they're still a lot of changes need lounge chairs you know with the new. Cba It's sort of a step wise progression in the right. You can't just open everything and open the floodgates and say you know what you can spend as much money as you want because obviously the US has had some issues with that even the even Europe has problems. We're GONNA have to get into cities problems at the moment but the money Hopefully the more money is coming in and and the the Games that are the game itself. The sport will continue to evolve and progress. I think the twenty two thousand six World Cup. That will really be something you know a moment in time for for soccer in the US but obviously that's you know that's six years down the road. I tried to explain to people that you know. You don't need a good international team to have a decent league or to have you know you don't need a good league to have a good international team. Look at Ireland. I mean Ireland is a pretty respectable team at international level for a country that has four and a half million people in the men affair stand. Occasionally that don't have a good league. I mean the the League there might team wins. Is every year done dogs wonderful? The last three years. It's a semi professional league. So you don't have the title of together you can separate us and you can have something good out of it and you know. I think that's where the needs to do the need the need to you know For one thing this thing that you know I don't really understand is that the teams don't during the players and that s o on the players. I I think that's something that's just something that needs to be separated. That's just one of the things I think needs to be separated. And then you've all these people are GONNA ready gashing. I'm promotion. That's not gonNA happen for Long Time. But it's not gonNA happen for a very long time because if you have somebody who's paying and twenty two hundred three hundred million get a team and then you're gonNA suggest off the finished bottom of MLS. They're going have to go down to the. Us Plan Front of five thousand people every week. That's not gonna fly people who have money or not stupid. That's why they have money. It's it's I've heard that before and it does seem to be does seem to ring true. Okay now let's move onto some some predictions here we'll stick with mls for the moment This is actually a bigger picture before we get into like who wins. Do you think that that Rinaldo Cristiano Rinaldo ORLEA messy will eventually play amount? Mls Oh that's a good question. I mean it's it's it's a question does I I have my doubts. I have my doubts Unless somebody's going to pay them a bag load of money. I mean the the problem with Kris Jenner now though and messy is hey. They've worn everything they have everything was to Dunedin. Mls for I mean for some reason people seem to think that you know if you come to the MLS does something for your career. I'm not sure that they're messy and Renaldo is going to see. If that's where I mean. I'm sure messiaen Ronaldo would much more to play with international team and win awarded Cup than the with to come and play an MLS. But I'm sure it could happen. I'm sure if the right amount of money is out there it can happen but I mean if you're making I think I read someplace that Renaldo made fifty seven million last year off his one of his accounts. I mean what do you need? What do you need anything for that stage? Yeah you know. I hear the the quality of life the standard of living here in the. Us is so good. I hear it just has this allure. You know the US media market just has this lure to people from from outside. You know. I guess we'll see I. I would have thought I don't know now really gonNA take a right hand turn but I really thought the Rinaldo is going to end up here in a couple of years. Perhaps after the two thousand twenty two World Cup until that whole Was it the the sexual the the sex Miyanda you know the till that whole thing blew up right. I'm not sure I'm not sure anymore So I guess we'll sonnet We'll see what can if you get if you get. Let me Z. disres- If you get up in the mornings and you have maybe seven hundred and fifty million in your bank account you can make the ward whatever you wanted to be for that day under next to. It doesn't matter where you go. You can go. There are some beautiful places in this world where you can just go and become anonymous. I mean this was always the feeding. I mean I used to hang out with Dwight. Yorke many years ago and he'd come to New York and I always said to him. You know what? What's the allure of common to New York? And the lure of was he was out a done in a bow with him one day and we stood outside and there was a nightclub around the corner and there were tousands of people hadn't to write and he's standing there in the streets and as he said to me. There's the allure. He said see all that people are going by not wanted them know me. Not One of them he said. I stood outside of a supermarket in London. He said I'd be mobbed. So that was the lure of but things have moved on from that day now with the Internet and everything I mean it's completely different. No doubt about that And and obviously the with the way that soccer is going and becoming more popular. It's probably going to become more and more difficult for for any NON IMAS. Let alone like a superstar. Okay well now. Let's go predictions for. Let's start in. Epl We don't really need to talk about. Who's going to win? The we talked about that before I got to win. I gotTa Win. I gotTA win over. You see there you go. That's a lack lack for the week. Liverpool is going to win. The fail. Heard it here for. That's going out on a limb limb. I know you like to go on so this. That's your first big big upset of the week. Actually talk about this weekend because there are some big games. Especially Chelsea and Tottenham now with you know the whole everybody's fighting for top five now. Essentially instead of top four so tottenham and Chelsea are neck and neck here. They're both in the top five at the moment. What what are your thoughts on this game this weekend? The walking wounded both teams. Yeah what you know a couple of weeks ago. Myself and Rodney Marsh. We do grumpy ponders every morning on Sirius. We were talking about from. We are looking at it from the Spurs pint of you at that stage but we were looking at this week as from the Chelsea pint view and we were saying okay. Chelsea have to two games. The first game is against majesty united on the Monday night and the next game against sports on the weekend and if the lose those two games they are probably going to lose their grip on four spot. And I would say that if Chad C can lose to spores spores with start making rockets themselves in terms of finishing. I mean there was a time there in the season. We're going to finish much. Lower down the tab as they are now but they are very unlucky. I mean spores a really lucky. I mean when you see what happened the song over the weekend. I mean. He broke his arm. And he's GonNa be out and Harry Kane is. I mean they've just had so many injuries you sit yourself. What is going on? I mean a higher fee. Sorry for Marino but I feel sorry for him right now I feel sorry for him because things are just not going with but I still think I still think the spores we've got the better of Chelsea and I think the spores plan in the Champions League next year. Okay all right I like it. You're talking to a spurs fan here so so I know all about the sort of the hard luck. I'll throw out a little devils advocate and say that coming into the January transfer window me and I'm sure probably a lot of other people were like. Well listen we need a striker go-getter striker and they didn't do it so that's sort of on the front office there for for doing but yeah. I mean just the you know. You can't predict that that Sun's GonNa break his arm and be out for months. So yeah tough luck on on. Spurs there. I like your prediction other game. United Waterford we were talking about. How again this is a top five battle so two questions? How you think that United Waterford game is going to go and then bigger question. Do you think united can climb into the top five by the end of the huge him. I mean not just from the united point of view because what for down amongst the dead men walking. I could end up being relegated very easily so I mean basically there scrapping for the life. Okay united scrapping it into the top five and probably see a value. GonNa Solar Shares Job Etcetera Etcetera. All those good things that go with it and I have to feel that way. United played against Chelsea last night if they can duplicate that they would win. But that's the problem. What united have been so inconsistent? I mean you get one good game you got it bad game you get one good game you get another game. I mean Marshall is so important of this team. He's just so inconsistent if he was as consistent as he was and he did last night he would be recognized as one of the top players around he's inconsistent but I think at the end of the day I think united we'll just have enough to squeeze Biwott for. I think there were there. Were you know push themselves up to Tampa and if my other result is right they would overtake Chelsea. Bigger spores would have beaten jazzy so united leapfrogged over Chelsea okay. Well I'M GONNA throw one more at you from the the weekend because it now turns in it seemingly a bigger game arsenal is hosting Everton arsenal. So I'm I'm a spurs fan. Get that out. There but arsenal has been playing a lot. Better especially defensively. It seems like so. Is this a team? You know they were in intense. I think they're still intent at the moment But again tenth is only a couple of games a couple of wins and your siblings and fourth arsenal. Can THEY BEAT? Everton at home here number one and then. Will they have a shot at top five? I don't think arsenal of shot at the top five this year. No I don't and ever done started to really decent football I mean. Ancelotti is getting his message across. He's getting the team to do what he wants them to do. They've come up with a few grid..

Tall Stories: New Yorks streets

"We're on gun hill road in the Bronx near White Plains road you know sky go pretty open neighborhood by New York Sanders. There are some tall buildings around but street's pretty wide and most of the buildings are lower to kind of get a good glimpse of the sky. I can see several blocks away a lot of different directions. Lot of varied storefronts were passing the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church which is a big beautiful church Look back there you can see there. There's a lot of parts of the Bronx to there's a lot of bedrock I started. What is the last day of two thousand eleven? So it's been a little over seven years now checking your fund. Yeah I'm looking at my map here. And you got some woking instructions instructions I think in the pet so two thousand eleven yeah does little over seven years ago when I walked a little over ninety one hundred miles now and have have maybe a few hundred left to go the big question that everyone properly asks y you must know a bit like walking. Come on I mean why do you like what you like. You know you just do and I think it's important to sometimes. Just follow what you feel called to do without try to come up with an artificial reasons to be able to explain to people so they can go and move on with your day. I guess you could argue. That saw too precious to make you know why you're you're doing it. And it's not conventional thing to do in the sense that you know a lot of people in offices during nine to five jobs and you've decided over the last seven even maybe a little bit longer to every street of Neil Yeah at the same time over the whole course of human history. What I'm doing much more conventional than people? You're sitting in an office meeting meeting. That's very slim slice of human history that we've been sitting in fluorescent lights looking at computers. Would you like about what you've discovered in these many many years. Everything's a surprise. I mean you know you come to New York and people tell you things about neighborhoods types of people believe it because you're a new person it's in there and they seem to know they're talking about when you go out and walk in a certain area and you say oh that's not true that's not true that's not true and you realize what you could have known in the first place. which is that every stereotype about place or type of person's always GonNa be wrong just because just because of the mathematics of it you can't some thousands of people in particular certain characteristics? That's never know where so I learned early on to not expect any think so in that way you could either say everything surprising or nothing surprising because I didn't have any expectations to begin with. Yeah I mean we're in the neighborhood will win Bara that has a little stereotypes attached definitely. Yeah yeah the Bronx probably more so than any any other Any other the boroughs in New York. Lots of people who've never been here would confidently tell you a lot of stuff about how dangerous it is that kind of thing. I really knowing anything. What what do you think you WANNA learn from walking the streets? How can you put it to us? Once you do actually finish. I don't know I mean it's not really my concern to put it to use my concern to do it as well as I can. And then you know just see what happens from there can't really control What usage put to? You know. I didn't do it for particular particular use so I'm just trying to give it my all and whatever happens next

They've saw set themselves up at the sleepwalk which is really been a pretty bold move because it's been quite a kind of color full area going in there one of the first progressive food retailers really going. Mr They've always got a selection of probably maybe about ten different types of beagles. The E can pick from with all their different fillings. And it just delivers every time. Yeah you know. If you've AH ten minutes to get Beagle have not about better. Yeah Okay and then I wanNA smoke lunch. Where you'RE GONNA IF WE'RE GONNA quickly to nip how we probably we probably and Commons? They have an amazing onsite bakery. So it's always smells great and the sourdough bread is perfect and you can pick up. Take your breakfast I the next day. They do really good who pastries and sandwiches and soups. But if we're taking clients I there's some place called the shore which is an old school leaf beef establishment. It's slightly art deco inside. It's a really beautiful bar and kind of smooth mirrors and then you can have a really nice. Does beautiful fish sughrue fish restaurants along along. The waterfront starts with fishers. And then there's the shore and ship and kings wore when they're they're all really really great fish restaurants fishing japes leaf has got one of the best fish and chip restaurants in probably Scotland. It's called the new haven fish market on generally at key there for an hour in the summer chips and then coming into dinnertime. Where would you go for more laid back than a little favor of ours? The shafts are young. There's a love entrepreneurial. Young shafts are delivering amazing modern Scottish cuisine and I think they do a lot foraging. They've got low bar and quite often. When you're walkin there you can see what Lebron foraging origin? Four place on the bar. It's a really nice intimate experience. Bara is another one. That's literally just over. The water are really dynamic. Husband and wife you who they just you know when you can tell them their heart and soul into it and it's nice to go somewhere has set many but that it doesn't feel stuffy. There's new white tablecloths but there's really nice are on the walls there's good music play is a good atmosphere and the feed is really exciting. And it's actually very good value for money shifts would come from the Martin wishaw Autom- kitchen the training of these places. All they've been you know the Venus Scandinavia and working with or come back to you know. Add Marin started up their own restaurants in in small affordable places in Iran leaf. And I suppose that's the great thing about leaf it's been you know affordable for people to come in and and whether it's startups in in restaurants or in menswear or whatever is given a home in an incubator to showcase the best of en route can do do and then once you've lied to stomachs going get some drinks. Let's start off maybe with just sort of an old fashioned goodall pint buys your a favorite baiser Lee is really good for old fashioned boozers. And it's almost like the fish restaurants that this run along the waterfront nobles is probably one of the most famous ones. It's probably got some real stories to tell the history of the years you know particularly when the sailors were coming in here to darker think There's been in a few few stories told in some of these boozers. Sophie's another great boozer rose. Leaf is a is kind of almost I suppose our our local. Um I'm who also do great great from pub food the dreadnought is also quite like going to the treading on when we moved up here. I find it difficult to find a proper purpose. That wasn't just an old man's Poppin dreadnought really laid back by an which we really like clearly has a low competition your favorite boozers. If you want a glass of wine where you're GONNA go. I really liked the shore. Just feels I think. Because it's quite art deco in there and it's it's very atmospheric. It just feels really relaxed taxed. That's probably for me my favorite for glass of wine. You know some of the good restaurants like the Chop House of Great Barr beside them which is maybe a little bit more like a wine bar or kitchen kitchen restaurant and bar there as well? It's worth mentioning that you don't fancy the key see for a Bagel or dressing up for Mitcham Star. Dinner lethal also has a pretty spectacular food market called the pit and was never really had a kind of food market is such so started in effectively car park in with a garage next door to a and a couple of guys who had trucks maybe had restaurants and tyrone came down and just started up doing great food at really good prices and and then live music then started up by people guitars or saying kind of spawned into whole whole kind of music program and you know many better places for people to go in on a on a Saturday in the pit and the monarchial Cairn Banerjee and what better way to play now than with the track by Scottish music legends the proclaim. There's no awards here for guessing. What inspired this track his sunshine only

"Predicated adequately predicated, and I'm not suggesting it wasn't predicated. But I need to explore that it's my obligation. Congresses usually very concerned about intelligence agencies law enforcement agencies staying in their proper lane. And I wanna make sure that happened. We have a lot of rules about that. And say that that I said, I'm reviewing this. I am going. I haven't set up a team yet. But I do have I have in mind having some colleagues helped me pull all this information together. And let me know whether there's some areas that should be looked at. And I also want to make clear this not launching an investigation of the FBI, frankly to the extent there were there any issues at the FBI. I do not view it as a problem that's endemic to the FBI. I think there was probably a failure among a group of leaders, they're at the upper echelon, and so I don't like the here attacks about the FBI because I think the FBI's and outstanding. Organization. And I think Chris Wray is a great partner for me. I'm very pleased that he's fair is the director, and if it becomes necessary to to to look over some former officials activities I expected I'll be relying heavily on Chris and work closely with him. Looking at that information. But that's what I'm doing. I feel I have an obligation to make sure that government power is not abused. I think that's one of the principal. Roles of the attorney general. The unfortunate thing about Bill Baras, the attorney general he is as far as I can tell a man of great principle in character. And a willingness to be the tip of the spear in investigating and prosecuting hopefully, those who engaged in wrongdoing with the FBI and probably beyond. But he doesn't present a very articulate case for what he's saying. It's a bit Bob Ross in its delivery. We're going to unpack what he just said and new developments from the former department of Justice general counsel.

This Email came from Jeff it says, Pat, William bars, a political hack must be a nice feeling to know if you're ever investigated. You will be able to choose an authority to cover up the investigation as Trump has done. And I think he is Jeff is spot on eight ten we go to Dan in San Jose. Hey, Dan, welcome to K G O. Baras a janitor. He's a cleaner. He cleaned up problems cleanup guy, the guy the guy pulps. Do it doesn't do for democratic president. So let I think you need to inform people about what he cleaned up for for Reagan and Bush. Yeah. Oh, you really fascinating is because you let let me some nil it. Okay. United States was shipping. Weapons to Al Salvador, Nicaragua. For the debt squat, right? They were then taking cocaine in payment, and they were taking that money cleaning it and then having these Railly's shelf Iran co missiles and during that time over two hundred US marines who were in Lebanon were killed. Don't don't forget that do that that was directly involved with Oliver North. And Dan, I do want to say that. There was an investigation that took place in the Reagan administration that has never been made public. There was. Yeah. There was a special counsel investigation during the Reagan administration that was investigating things that happened. Now, Lawrence Walsh, also during the Reagan administration, and then that investigation continued into the Bush administration that concerned Iran contra, but there was another investigation. That investigation remains unrevealed. It remains secret to this day. Secrecy is not the way a country like ours should be operating transparency should be the key Craig sends an Email, and he says he's been trying to get important question answered. He's still waiting. He said is there any reason why Muller wouldn't have his own copy of the investigation? If there is. Another copy than it doesn't matter. What bar does my guess Craig though. I don't know this my guess is. Yeah, nothing is done in the government without it being done in a duplicate and triplicate. It would be labeled. It would be classified. I'm sure it would be classified as top secret the entirety of the investigation. And so it's not something that's going to be made the whole thing made public. But I'm sure that a copy of this thing exists. I say, I'm sure I don't know. But knowing what I know about the government. That would be my best guest. "Well, so there are two things that I wanna point out about that seen the way he pulls it in when he says come here. Yes. Slightly ahead. Yes. And he reaches for her b s and he pulled her in goes willingly because hey, and he says come in, and it's just a little bit guttural. I love women say come here. Like when you're already kissing are like in this like, you know, passionate moment, and they just like come here. I have sent them at least two other clips of men on TV saying come here in these kissing moment. I mean, I I posted it move it myself. I love Nicole you, and I am this regard those twins. Yes. Because I love it. I love finding Nicole. Look are you like? I love it. One of the ones I really love Star Trek. Yes. And it's ask. Across the city. And I think wow, it's me anyway. Anyway, that's the pot one. The second part of that is breathless response after the case, and this case is full of like my favorite kind of little packs, and it's like, you know, long drills and all that stuff. And then he goes how was that? And she says nothing but net. The little music that comes just in case, you forgot this was a black movie. How some base I love it. I mean, when I say kind of hate this movie because it has moves like that. I'm Baras Kolja generates so much chemistry with Sonam, which I think is wonderful because I just wanna see I want to see representations of this kind of relationship where I don't know. It doesn't seem like it was full. It doesn't seem as though we are trying to make fetch happen. Yeah. Which is already happened. Yeah. Both these both attractive, and you know, you feel in that little smiles they capture the feeling of that first day that has gone, really. Well. Yeah. And you know, he's walking her home. He's got his hands in his pocket. She's wearing jurist. And she's you know, that whole banter thing when he's like, I got a good show. She's like, it's not that. Good. Yeah. All know. We're lying. Back-and-forth trading something it is such a chemistry Laden seen. I wanna think about I mean, as I said this Nicole when we decided we were doing bores, I literally said nothing but net, I think about that scene. Maybe once a month because it's so good. It's not has rarely been better. And I'd love it. I got I just love friendship. Okay. Okay. It's fine. You can. Begrudging? I I mean, I will watch the moving. But if I'm like at home by myself watching it I will fast forward through most of taste part. I think I think that is entirely, although I do love the clink clink my divorce. My sister that pretty much every week. What had to celebrate? What Clint Clint? I mean, listen takes in many ways, very, very basic. But again talk about puffing, it costs he's drain this movie very well done. And there's something I'll have to think, and like, you know, analyze it a little later, but there's something about digs whose film work is very very black and his TV work is very not black Knight. You should write a piece on this. Because I would read the fuck out of it because I thought about this several times. Yeah. It's very interesting thing. But there's one moment and Brown sugar with through that. I do not fast forward through it. Again, features Boris and. And I love it because it's me. Okay. What are the introduction? But if you've ever wondered, what is it lights, go on a date with Nicole? I'm gonna play this clip, and you will find out on Jesus..

Within on the negative portion of the exercise and breathe out or exile. As you're exerting force. Exactly. So that's what everyone thinks you're going to do on the bench press, which may be doing ten to twelve reps. That's how you would breathe you're training for strength. There's another thing we do in. It's called holding your air. And this is perfect. If you're doing three reps or less, especially if you're maxing out. It sounds really weird. It sounds dangerous. It sounds like you're gonna pass out. But I promise you every single person that competes in the bench press. This is what you do. And there's good reason for it. So what you do when you unwrap the bar, you take a big breath. And you try to hold this now in your belly not in your chest. So you're taking a deep breath into your diaphragm. And what this does is it stops the body from leaking leaking power and energy gives you a stable foundation of stable base. It keeps you nice tight. If you can you hold your breath the entire rep..

The next album they did by the people shirt will tweet you many of their instrumentals. They sort of funk album. There was been tweeted that musical example of what they are known for. You can track that down if you want to. We're going to finish up with a song that I love from this album. It was a single, but not a choice years us two thousand eight, ten years later doesn't eight. This is called triple trouble. They're going to wrap over some some little bits from rapper's delight and bring it up to the roof. There's much less production there, like basically a whole generation of rappers, including beastie. Boys came up rapping over tracks, like robbers delight. They would get the play, the beats and just wrap over it. So here they are returning to their roots, triple trouble of to the five boroughs. Right. Looking. To wanna know. Threes. Cheerful..
