What being on the cutting edge of societal evolution mains? It was only yesterday on this program. That I discussed one of the characteristics of Trump derangement system in one of the one of the techniques of the left, and I'm going to let you hear it. I'm not gonna say the whole thing here because let's play it in a moment. But it was the monologue where I encouraged everybody to live in the present. Because that's where your life is. That's we're happiness resides. That's where the pursuit of happiness is. That's where the opportunity. To be all you can be or all you want to be. That's where it is not in the past and not in the future. I pointed out the left has corrupted both. The left looks at the past. All they see is all of this, outrageous, racism, and sexism and bigotry of the United States in the future. Well, that's dead too. Because you're going to die from this or that climate change or what have you? So you are so rounded you are inundated by apocalyptic fatalism. In both the past and the future the past. You can't live again unless you wanna live that way. But the future you can't possibly know. But you can certainly be affected by it. And I urged everybody the present if you're so focused on the past and the future you can't possibly enjoy your life. Your life is in the present. Here is how I said this yesterday has a payoff because you're going to see in the next bite following mind. That exactly what I said was agreed with by a psychiatrist describing Trump derangement system syndrome that here is what I said yesterday. I. Gonna leave. We're going to beat him. But he's not gonna leave all the left has the left cannot allow you to live in the present. In the present. There are million a half more jobs openings than there are jobs in the present. The US economy is doing gangbusters the tax cut. Did it's magic in the present American prosperity is at an all time high. But the left doesn't want you living in the present. And if you don't live in the present, there's no way you can enjoy yourself, folks, there's Louis if you're occupying by all the stuff in the past it happen. You weren't even alive. But you're out wringing your hands Oreo bid. It was horrible. And then you focus on the future where you may not even be able to live when you're sixty five because of climate change because this is going to happen. That's going to happen. This horrid you're not even able to live in the present. The president doesn't even occur to you. Because you're so focused on all the dome and gloom in the future coupled with all the misery of the past, and this is their precise. Zeiss objective. It is a key element to the left's psychological ploy to create constant fear and crisis negativism and pessimism. Oh, yeah. They'll talk about the present. And in negative ways to the last thing, they want anybody doing is enjoying themselves because the present the here and now the things that you're doing in the here. And now those of the things that matter toward your pursuit of happiness, your contentment the last thing they want is you happy not when Donald Trump's in the White House. So let's take you now to the network known as our TV. And that's Russian TV and they had a guest on their last night. Psychotherapist Nancy Collier, talking about Trump and Americans mental health. Listen to this data tells us that those who approve of President Trump's job performance are significantly more likely to experience negative emotions than his supporters disapprovers feel more negative than supporters. Nancy does this validate what Rush Limbaugh and his army of imitators, call Trump derangement syndrome? Does it really does? And anger does not lead to happiness. Anger leads to stress all of the stuff that Trump and this whole administration is fermenting leads to misery. So we don't get happy when we're hating. We don't get happy. When it's us against the other more hate does not make us. Well, and it does not make us happy. And it does. Not make us rich suicide is going up because the hallway that we're living. Not only the economic insecurity. Not only the rage. That's being fomented and worked not only the climate, insecurity. Not only the everywhere, you look somebody is being blown up about some reason for hate, right? But none of this works. So we've got to get back to some sanity. They make my case for me. Every time I opened up and get philosophical about him. Somebody's gonna come along think that they're criticizing me and actually validating. What I'm saying? Can't be happy during the Trump. Here's not permitted. Can't be happy at Nommik insecurity climate change. Can't be happy. Somebody somebody being blown up can't be happy. Don't want you to be happy. Not during the Trump years. That's not gonna work. That's not permissible. This is why I reach around and Pat myself on the back now, and then I don't do it as often as validated. But, but I do let's go to the Tiger Woods story here. Oh, by the way, there's Brian York. I'm looking at things I look for the tiger story. No question there were spying on Trump campaign, but how much this is Byron York thinking well third amount of spying understand. Is there is there spying that we don't know? Now. What did I do what the stupid tighter story? One. Somehow, I've misplace the Baltimore Sun editorial. I'm sorry, folks. I thought I had this all set up in the break and somebody came tampered with my stack Trump awards medal of freedom to Tiger Woods. Fact, we've got the sound bite grab somebody number five and six and seven here is Trump actually presenting the medal of freedom to Tiger Woods yesterday in the rose garden at the White House this evening, we are in the presence of a true legend, and extraordinary athlete who is transformed golf and achieve new levels of dominance. He's also a great person is a great guy tiger introduced countless new people to the sport of golf from every background and from every walk of life. He inspired millions of young Americans with his thrilling wire to wire victories. Tiger Woods is a global symbol of American excellence devotion, and Dr tiger endured. Knee surgery and four excruciating back surgeries. I know that you remember to that's not good. What it ended up good, including a spinal fusion in two thousand seventeen he fell from number one in the world rankings to one thousand one hundred and ninety ninth. I don't believe that even if he had one leg I don't believe that Tigers injuries were so profound that for two years. He could barely swing it club. As Tigar said there was a point in time. I didn't know if I ever do this again if he'd never play again, but Tigar fought through the terrible pain any fought all the way back to the summit of golf and when tiger got up to speak. He was genuinely choked up talking about his parents. I just wanna say this has been an unbelievable experience and to have the support that I've had for all these years. Some of your firm my entire life. And some of you are more than half my life. He's seen the good in the bad the highs and lows, and I would not be in this position with all of your help in ninety seven. Yes. Won the masters in enough hugging. My dad, and my mom, my dad's no longer hair. But my mom's here, I love you. Mom. Thank you. I wanna revisit something about this before we get to the predictable tearing down of Tiger Woods in the drive-by media. When tiger won the master's is fifth green jacket and his fifteenth major. The next day. I made a point of trying to share with you one of the life lessons to be learned here. And I remember how I began that man that monologue. If you. If you have ever been in the prison of being totally paralyzed with fear and fright over what other people think of you. Then remember two words Tiger Woods. They can talk about everything tiger overcame physically, and that's not insignificant, but he had to overcome something in my mind, much, greater, and it is perhaps if you if on the professional level skills are a given that everybody out there has a certain level of professional level skill the differences in the head of the winner. The psychology the mental makeup the mental toughness, the the -bility to focus champions. That's what tiger had overcome Tiger Woods on thanksgiving night back whenever it was. When he ran his car into the fire hydrant his life opened up in ways, you never thought. It would things that he had done that. He thought nobody would ever. Learn all came gushing out every blemish every negative everything that the image makers had tried to cover up. Pretend wasn't have came out in droves and everybody in America became instantly, privy and aware of all of the failings, quote unquote of Tiger Woods, and he knew it. So in addition to suffering injuries and having to make physical recovery's from those which is not insignificant. Tiger woods. Every from the moment. He returned to golf tournament golf first time he shows up at the masters after all of that after going to therapy after going to rehab after he knows that everybody on that golf course is looking at him not as Tiger Woods the golfer. But as Tiger Woods what they've. Just learned about him. None of it flattering. None of character-building. None of it positive. And he knows he knows that everybody is look any knows that many people now want him to fail. He knows that many people think he deserves to fail after being that kind of phony after living this secret life, and he deserves the never win again. Tiger pull the wool over. He knew all of this. He knew what everybody thought of him. And he had to be aware of that. There was a lot of negativism and a lot of people hoping he would fail a lot of people hoping he would never win. Again. A lot of people feeling betrayed who had bought the image made Tiger Woods. And now, they realize it wasn't anything. Specially wasn't anything cut above. He was just like everybody else except it can play golf. He had overcome the prison of what other people think of head to be. Able to faith literally thousands of people standing on the sidelines hoping he failed don't deny this. You know, how people are there, you probably know people who felt at least told you that they felt let down and betrayed and he doesn't deserve to win. I hope he never wins again. And then when he started playing again and failed to make cuts, you know, people who were happy, you probably may have been one of them. He undeserved a winning. I hope he never makes undercut open ever wins. Again. I heard this all over the place. He knew it. He had to face it each and every day, he left his house. It's something he had overcome most people. Never learn how to overcome the fear imprison of trying to be what others think you should what you think people want to be. And the reason is such a prison the prison of worrying about what people think of you is that everybody's raised this way. Everybody's raised to not be offensive and to ensure you're like nobody wants to be hated. Nobody is raised to be disliked. And hated everybody. It's just the exact opposite in the process. Trying to you make a very big mistake. And we all do we assume everybody judging us is perfect that they have their act together. And their judgments are valid if they think we're deficient. They're valid what we don't realize that everybody's as messed up everybody else. And then most everybody is still thinking about whatever really thinks them, not what they think of you. I maintained at having to overcome that aspect of this is as seminal achievement as recovering physically head help recovering physically had doctors had surgeons had the best doctors and surgeons in the best physical therapist and so forth, but the stuff inside his own head. Head. He had to do that all on his own. And he had to do it over the years. It did not happen automatically. He wasn't able to put out of his mind. What he knew everybody thought of had to find a way let it not affect him at a find a way to have it. Not get him down. Not get depressed, not cave in to not give up. It's really really hard. I know we all know people who are obsessed with what people think of them and when something goes wrong, and they think that everybody's down. We've seen how depressed those people get into spawned vague added..

"So I can't tell you what my plan is because my plan was to print up a hundred thousand albums with the illegal panties. Call customs get busted, but at the same time order pennies from Canada for the other million and a half albums didn't have a flap that I couldn't tell them because they would kill me. So I had a change in midstream when I did is I had the the Pani ship the same day as the album ships. And I called Baltimore's a guy, Tom. Zita who the music reporter for the Baltimore Sun, and I called him up. I said, I have a major exclusive for you. You got it print tomorrow. You gotta wait twenty four hours an printed. So all of Alice's album shipped into the stores. Baltimore sun. Biggest panty rate in history. Frontier hundred and fifty thousand paper panties for the new Alice Cooper album have been confiscated customs because if flammable, the people want this didn't know that I had ordered from Canada real ones, they thought they had to take back all million and a half hours and they just fuck in freaked, but was all cool. So anyways that was and you had I miss those days. One crazy starry you had a pet cat. Carrie grid. Great. Would far out was a cat. Who is great cat. And it got it got lost in things up on trees. And I got a call from Cary grant's care housekeeper who live down the hill farming. And said that they had found the cat. And when was a good time for me to come and get it. And then they never returned my calls for a couple of weeks a fly just went down and not on the door. I never met him the door opened his carried credit on a for rug with my cat and two bowls of food playing. They actually did TV guide that a big story about how the cat's sorta broad carry back to life. So I just I was going for joint custody. I just said I can't do this too far out for it was like looking at me going don't blow this for the ship. I carry petty. Shep I've of a couple of guests before, but you know, use the liner notes on the back of the book you refer to yourself as Nebot she Jewish kid. You grew up in queens. We were talking in Email about John's ice. Some of our old haunts you grew up around here Gilbert, and I remember Nathan's enchants about new pool. Kitchen sink, like kitchen sink device creed or something you you say, you don't you tend to your tend not to look back? But you have these moments where my goddamn this kid from queens on this Jewish kid. I didn't know what I wanted to do. I didn't you describe yourself as not having any ambition everyday. Yeah. Bette Davis, and Cary Grant, and and John Lennon, and you know, Salvador Dali and all of these people. You know, all these came into your life. Yeah. You know, it's it's there's a part of me that it's not me. So I watch it. And I just can't believe it you're removed from it myself. It's like holy shit had this happen. And it just keeps happening, and it's just better better. But yeah, no, I think for all of us I and I think everybody's journey. It's just we happen to be in a journey were Hollywood is the you know is the the the the candy of today. So our journey because it happened to be Bette Davis. But you know, everybody's got their journey of it's far as comfort everybody just different one way to look at your you also speak a lot about how you're aware of people's mortality, though. Yeah. No. It's that's what it is comes in. You know, it's it's a short journey. Enjoy it take advantage of it. I was very lucky I had two mentors. I don't know if they know they momentum, but I had to people who really enjoyed life. "You why in a few minutes because it's pretty important stuff based on the news. That's coming out today about Russia and Putin's speed of sound. But anyway to get back to what we were talking about by the way, you can call in at four ten nine two to sixty six eighty the Trump administration has dedicated another big chunk of taxpayer money to a controversial Obama housing project and the latest allocation gives millions to a left wing group that advocates open borders. Organizers pro illegal immigrant marches across the country and promotes a radical Chicano curriculum in publicly funded charter schools nationwide known as choice neighborhoods. The program aims to transform slums into desirable middle class neighborhood. My impression is that. The current policy of government is the transform middle class neighborhoods in the slums. It's called section eight. Okay. But they're getting money on. On the other side. And I guarantee you that money is going into what I just talked about going Obama's tenure choice neighborhoods received. Now, we can't get a five billion dollars for the wall. Received a breathtaking three hundred and seventy five million dollars, a substantial portion one hundred and twenty million was revoked rewarded as a parting gift in two thousand and sixteen. The numbers of the HUD numbers revealed that the largest chunk one hundred twenty two million was allocated in two thousand and ten. This is all been reported by that great organization called Judicial Watch. Instead of cutting back on these dubious programs that give huge sums of taxpayers money to leftist groups. The Trump administration administration keeps filling the left's coffers this month, HUD, announce more than sixty million dollars in grants for choice neighborhoods and other housing counselor grants. Among the recipients is the national council of LaRosa which means no race. This is a racist organization that wants to reclaim land in the United States like California. In texas. Now, they've changed their names to United States. US the renowned open borders group that specializes in promoting the Mexican LaRosa. The race agenda is getting almost three million dollars. According to government records weeks earlier, HUD, gave duds is leftist groups that purport to fight housing discrimination thirty seven million dollars the administration continues permits and driver's license. An administration that continues to fund permits and driver's license and left us housing programs. Carried out by groups hostile to the president. And makes you wonder if Trump knows what is going on under his nose. Remember what I said the buck stops here. So anyway. This doesn't make any sense. You could understand it from a leftist like Obama who wants to transform America, including our neighborhoods in Baltimore County. But that money I guarantee you that money is going into lobbying and support. And I'm gonna tell you where it's going to go in just a minute. It's on the front page of the Baltimore Sun today. Did you read the Baltimore Sun? Well, if you live in Baltimore County, I'm telling you you better read the Baltimore Sun. But before you do I'm going to interpret that article for you, you have to know how to interpret articles. It's like they are written in a foreign language to deceive you when you read the Baltimore Sun, you have to know how to read it in the real language that means something to you. And I'm going to do that for you. Okay. Here is. Victor who wants to tell us about the speed of sound, okay? When there is a thunderstorm, and you see a flash of lightning. To five and it travels five thousand two hundred eighty feet one mile. That's how I was told how to figure out how far the storm is from the location you're in. Well, let me say this to you. Stormy. The speed of sound is when you hear a airplane a jet fly over you. Yes, sir. And it breaks the sound barrier. And you hear that big boom. Yes. It has hit the speed of sound. Now. I don't know what that speed is knowing our modern jets that could be fifteen hundred miles an hour. Right. I believe. That's correct. I, but I may be wrong. So if anybody knows and they can Google it or talk to their echo or Alexis or whoever they have living in their house that is spying on them by the NSA, and they want to ask the question they could find out and tell us, but the reason I'm asking that is according to this article, and we're going to address it later right now, we're talking about another scary thing. The Russians have created a high percentage sonic jet missile the travels thirty times the speed of sound. Now if that's accurate. Okay. If that's true. Are you there Victor? Oh here if that's accurate, and that's true. Listen to me listening audience. I may be totally wrong. But if that's accurate that means this hypersonic missile plane travels forty five thousand miles an hour. Now nothing can knock that down. Nothing America has technologically that we know of unless one of our UFO's can take care of it. None of none of the stuff. We have can stop that. It's like you press a button in Moscow. Right..

"We were also the first to do all of them, and so I'm running and people are saying bad things. You want to do our heart and you wanna make advancements in education and healthcare policy and the economy all at once. And is that too much. And I just look at them and say, that's been my whole life. I specialising getting hard things done. That's why I was named Maryland or of the year by the Baltimore Sun for another one. You're just going to drive for those for those three victories. But I think it's important because I've been running against a guy who wants to pretend like I'm not from here. I'm not of here. I don't know how to get anything done, and the reality is quite the opposite. And he also wants people to believe as part of that that they shouldn't hope for anything big that they should be grateful for the status quo. And yet his entire leadership has proven that there's a cost to everything including doing nothing and the cost to doing nothing has been that we've fallen behind the education records every year. We drop the national education ratings under his leadership. Our healthcare costs are surging and our economy is stuck. And so I think if if Obama reminds us of anything is that there's a power to hope when you marry it with practical policies, and that's that we actually move. Do you feel ripe for you on your primary. It had been an ongoing bad streak for people. The Bernie Sanders was supporting the kept losing primaries and there was a thought. Okay. Well, you were not seen as like for sure to win. A lot of people thought you was not right. There was one pull that broke through in the Washington Post, and then they put an extra graphics, explain that their own poll had no meaning. Right? So right before the primary there was a spate of stuff that was like, oh, well, like I guess that's it and gel. She'll be the sort of nail in the coffin on the Sanders thing, then one and then a couple of other people want right. Well, Sanders does not. Sanders did not endorse Cortez until afterwards. Notably, but now it doesn't there because maybe it was just the way the calendar was or what was how politics was moving. Do you feel again, the polls you can question them and their reasons to where we're all wondering what the likely voter model is at this point, but in the public polling you're behind, do you feel a burden to say that if you don't as someone who's so much dented with this. If you lose and if you lose badly in a state that is, we've had one Republican governor in Maryland since Spiro Agnew. Right. It's early in Moga, right? But other than Hogan's are that it says something about what kind of appetite there actually is for your kind of politics. The bird nine field is is to win and we feel good the, there's a pollster out there really suppose jealous is back sixteen points, same pollster two weeks before I won by ten points under count on my support by seventeen points. So I'm looking at his batting average and I'm like, well, which which would you tell me is I'm gonna head by one. It's a hard thing for a reporter these, as I've been saying this for a lot of people because. When politicians tend to say, you know, I really feeling it out there. The reporters say like, well, it's because you're only going to your own rallies right? And yet, I mean, but, but over and over are looking worse than whether Minh these. Yeah, I know. And that's why I think it's hard for reporters because we need to somehow incorporate that, but also not fall for every politician. Salesman. The burden. I feel the wind comes from the fact that those same polls will tell you. People don't feel like they're better off their totally stressed out about schools. They're totally stressed out about the cost of healthcare, the cost of college, the opioid epidemic. That's touching all of our communities in the most horrible way..

"The less time there in annapolis the better off i think you to take the hippocratic oath first do no harm that should be the the slogan for these politicians that go to annapolis because they go down there looking to passed up not and when's the last time the repeal just going to say you know what it would be nice if the legislators would examine some of the bills over the past ten or twenty years that they have passed and said you know let's clean this up we have so much legislation on the books right now a lot of it is repetitious as i say a lot of it is a is a new book it rather as so why don't we look at some of these things to see what we can repeal because the way it's going right now it looks like they would just want to intrude in people's lives more and more and it's not just an atlas it's washington it's everywhere you know yesterday we were talking about the the governor in the baltimore sun editorial holding the closet democrat and again i heard from a lot of listeners yesterday some of which taking me to task as i was suggesting the alternative of course not i mean you're you're left with very little option here in maryland when it comes up to wherever the democrat nominee is going to be governor hogan is going to certainly be a better choice in the long run i was just promoting the fact that you know we've seen this this this playbook before you know the governor should be doing everything they can since he can't get his agenda through in annapolis because he doesn't have the votes to override he should be doing everything he can to build the party and get more people elected to send doing apples should he be reelected he'll have better numbers next time and and my point for him he what he should have done with the the bill on the tax relief socalled tax relief and on the obamacare stuff veto it you know it's gonna become law anyway but veto it and then forced the democrats to override it which they would have done but at least you.
