"60 $2 and 50 cents. See, I can add. I can do math in my head. But $62 50 cents is not a crazy amount for a lot of players, right? Like it's somewhat reasonable for pick four players. And that's giving them 5 by 5 by one by 5 or in this case 5 by one by 5 by 5 coverage. And obviously there's different ways to go about it. But to add in that fourth difficult leg where you might have to go four or 5 deep, it literally jumps the ticket cost up to $312 and 50 cents because it's 625 combinations. And so I would argue that there's a pretty big prohibitive cost to go from $60 to $300 for a lot of players. A lot of players, I would say a majority of players, 300 is on the north end of what they're willing to spend or lose in a day. I think it's way on the north end of that. Most folks are playing, you know, 5, ten, 15, 20 bucks a race max. And so you know, it's that much more difficult to hit that pick 5 for a lot of reasons. And I think when you add a 5th race that's not only an extra leg, but a tough leg like that first race was that's why you get a much bigger payout. The feature at aqueduct on Saturday, the Garland of rosa steaks, and I was so, so wrong. This race in terms of how I thought it could play out versus how it did, but I should say I was right on how it how it was right on how I thought the race would set up. It just didn't finish. I thought I thought city lady looked like very dangerous lone speed. I thought just Reddit was a really good long shot to come from off the pace. Both those happened for the first half of the race, but not so much the second. Let's take a listen back to John and brielle's call. Here is the garlic of roses. And they're off. It is Citi lady who goes out for the early lead. It is Sadie lady in front. Let me take this call runs in second song rivers on the outside and third call on mischief down at the rail and forth. Just read it as next day and 5th, star front far outside and the early trailer is glass ceiling in 7th. Sadie lady is the leader here by a length and a half. Song river up on the outside, second by ahead. Let me take this call down towards the rail and third the quarter one in 22 and one. It is Sadie lady, the leader here by a little more than a length. Let me take this call down at the rail in second, then comes song river star front on the extreme outside, call on mischief. His advancing now in between horses. And then at the back is a glass ceiling. As the field comes into the stretch, still Sadie lady there, the half 45 and three glass ceiling is gobbling up the slop on the outside. Here comes glass ceiling, who has now taken over the lead. Call on mischief has moved into second. Let me take this call and Sadie lady. Last ceiling with a less to first victory in the Garland of roses. So glass ceiling super impressive took to the slop and rallied from off the pace. They went Sadie lady. I thought, you know, could be dangerous on the lead, 5 and a half to one thought the price was all right and just got overwhelmed by him down the stretch in a glass ceiling, Dylan Davis, who continues to really do well lately. It seems like it seems. And I feel like I've said that for a while now. So maybe he's just doing maybe he's just good. But yeah, really, really nice effort from a glass ceiling, you know, has just gotten just been, you know, they claim for 40,000 back in the spring and as I talked about when we preview this race. You know, this horse was very solid before the claim and charm baker Charlie baker is a very like just one of those incredibly good New York trainers that's year and year out of very solid numbers kind of bar and obviously we talked about the success of Saratoga points toward that meet yada yada yada. But this horse in the Cantor Macy barnum actually is a kind of Machiavelli. But you know, was running high 80s low 90s bridge numbers was competing with that first level allowance. They finally drop in for acclaim. Charlie takes horse jumps up to pretty much that same allowance condition, run second, runs a low 90 number, runs an 81 in the start after like still takes a while to get through that first condition. In fact, took four starts. Finally got through it in pretty big fashion at Belmont and then last time and then the pumpkin pie ran very good behind lady rocket who we know came back in one and it just seems to be in good form right now. And a four year old horse has been around a little bit, but it just seems I mean and it's like I said, the move forward from a numbers standpoint like it's not it's not that much. Like it's not that big of a move forward, but just, you know, that extra little step sometimes at that higher level, it's the difference between winning and losing when they all can run. But really, really nice effort from glass ceiling to get the wind. Down at Gulfstream park, but he's down there in South Florida PETA yellow and Acacia back down at Gulfstream and love all the folks down there. Ron nicoletti, I always do my Nickelodeon impression whenever safi Joseph wins because he'll do it on the show and go. Mister safi Joseph junior so I always do that anytime so everyone's a race wherever I'm calling, which of course is pretty much only here at this point. But you know he's a mom with a Calder and stuff like that. But anyways, the feature, the mister prospector steaks. Let me get back to horse racing and not my run. Nicoletti impression. The mist prosper kind of the first big graded stakes race in the championship meet and obviously sets the tone here as we get into several pretty fun months of racing data Gulfstream, a lot of big Saturdays and looking forward to it..

"To talk politics in pandemic questions can a right leaning Republican other than Governor Baker win in Massachusetts? And what are your concerns about the delta variant? Is it changing your personal pandemic equation? 1 804 to 38255. That's 1 804 to 3 talk to join the conversation. Tom Nichols. What do you make of Jeff deals entrance into the governor's race here in the Commonwealth? Well, I had to laugh because in my misspent youth when I worked in the State House, I was a registered Republican working for a Democrat. Who was then the chairman of Congress and labor, and you know the idea that you could have this like vibrant Republican competition about which Republican is going to run Massachusetts. Um you know that That's the kind of thing that over drinks at the Golden Dome Republican staffers would fantasize about but isn't really true. Mean, Charlie Baker is kind of a unicorn. Um, he is pretty unique and the idea that some kind of standard issue Republican um, could just take over that that slot because because there's some idea that Republicans can win in Massachusetts. Um, I think it's probably pretty unrealistic and it goes back. Actually, the conversation we had earlier about his Massachusetts or his New England different New England Republicans are different, and Charlie Baker is one of the most different. Of the New England Republicans. So Renee Jeff deal is running, critiquing Charlie Baker as a manager. Actually, I would argue, baby, all of the current gubernatorial gubernatorial candidates are critiquing Charlie Baker as a manager manager on our air he advocated to and enhanced unemployment wants a different use of tax surplus talks about Smalls business. These are bread and butter issues. I want to just have you here a little bit about him on unemployment expansion. I think right now is the time to do that. We've got more jobs than I think people that are looking for work at this point, So certainly the time I think to move people from the rolls back into the workforce. I think it's going to make for obviously less demand on the unemployment fund. It's going to also obviously give people I think a better sense of satisfaction going back to work, and we can collect tax revenue off of the work that they're doing. So is it multiple benefits to getting everybody back to work? And I'm sorry. That was a sloppy throw. I meant ending expanded or extended unemployment. So can he, Renee as somebody who's been solely tied so tied to Donald Trump 2016 campaign manager here in their campaign chair? Excuse me here in in the Commonwealth. Have a substantive policy conversation, or is there just too much trump in the air for him? I think there is just too much trump in the air. I I You know, I I don't see how Jeff deal campaigns without having to answer the question on where he stands on the big lie. He is an ardent trump supporter. He needs to answer where he stands on voting rights. Even though those issues aren't hitting Massachusetts. You don't have to be in Massachusetts to be concerned about what's happening with voter suppression in many other states. So in my mind, at least Donald Trump is an albatross for Jeff Deal, but he's not going to disconnect from him because he feels in some kind of way. There will be enough people in the state that you know that Trump and Trumpism will appeal to that He could somehow be Charlie Baker. Charlie Baker runs again. I You know, I agree with Tom. I simply don't see another Republican. Beating Charlie Baker. Not it not in this state, and I'm no Charlie Baker fan, but I simply don't see that happening if it and if it happens, it's not going to be Jeff deal. Do you listeners 1 804 to 38255 to join this conversation? Renee, I'm going to stay with you for a second because I asked deal straight up. Is Joe Biden, the democratically elected president of the United States. And he said yes, and then I said, So. Is there a concern with having a national party chair on the Republican side or a national Party head? Excuse me. In Donald Trump, who maintains that it wasn't It was a corrupt election in that Joe Biden isn't the democratically elected president, and they're his answer was well, lots of people said Trump wasn't either in 2016. So on the one hand you do have him answering about the big lion and the other. You have this hedging. What would it take for you to feel that deal had addressed the big like question head on? I think he needs to say not just that Joe Biden won but that there was no voter fraud and if there was no voter fraud, and there is no reason for all these voter suppression bills popping up around the country, and that this is all being bred by Donald Trump. There's really no other way around them. I think it's great. The acknowledges that President Joe Biden is the president. Okay? But he needs to go for than that, And he has to disavow what Donald Trump is saying. But if he wants Trump's support, he's never going to do that. So he's going to try to have it both ways, which, frankly, is kind of cheap in my mind. You know, you don't get to say, Well, he's the president. But now there's there's no but that's where it ends. And you have to simply disavow what Donald Trump has been espousing now for the last eight months. And I do want to say, and we played this at the top of the show. When I asked him if he would support Trump again. He he didn't give a direct answer, he said. You know, I want to see if he's going to run. So Tom Nichols, I'm going to turn to you here..

"I want people to be afraid of how much they love me. Oh, very good. Jared. Welcome back to the grace. Curly Show if you miss the breaking news of the day. It's right in my wheelhouse because it's celebrity news. Bruce Springsteen, the boss had a D wi in November. It did not come out till after that. Memorable ad he did with Jeep where he talked like this. It was a little secret knows the middle has been a hard place to get to lately between red and blue between servant and citizen between our freedom. And our fear someone tweeted it and said he was trying Tomo, you know, pay tribute to Kevin Costner's performance in Yellowstone like that, usually That goes in the voice. Um, but, yeah, So that's big news. Everyone's talking about it. A lot of people on Twitter are kind of enjoying the fact that this woke preachy liberal. As a little bit of Ah Mud on the tires. Russ, You're next with Grace and the Grace curly show. Go ahead, Russ. Grace. Let's face it. This has been a great opportunity from government control. Freights toe lead people around like dogs on the leash, and it just amazes me how people cannot think for themselves. This two words to keep in your mind to survive anything. As far as germs are concerned, it's called germs. Avoidance. You don't have to listen to anyone from the government. Just do everything you can to avoid germs in no, They don't want to let this go, and unfortunately, there are Massachusetts. Charlie Baker has a 70% approval rating in Russian. If you remember during the ticket us. He had an approval rating of 84%. Okay, Now there's only 70% of the people in the still brainwashed or the Charlie Baker. Charlie Baker. Is there nothing like give us a shaft. In these participated in ruining a lot of small businesses that may never recover, and the other thing is many of those business had entry level jobs. An entry level job so important for young people to learn the word that which will which will carry him through the rest of their lives, and they become productive citizens. Yeah, no. And Russ, I totally agree. I'm kind of amazed, and I've seen this point made several times, most recently by Carol Markowitz from The New York Post. She said something along the lines of, you know. She was surprised. He always thought New Yorkers had a real spirit about them, and they weren't I mean, you know, New Yorkers. They don't like to be told what to do. And it's just It's amazing how easily people were. And Jared used to make this point all the time that they'll never forget how easily we folded. Yep, the minute you give them anything, they will just take a mile of it, and this is in the back of their to say, okay? We did this for a virus with the 99% like, what can we do this time? What can we what can we throw at him this time? No eggs. Exactly. And now this impeachment, this entire impeachment thing just shows you that they're not really that concerned about this virus that they've ruined everything for You know, they've shut down your business. Your kid can't go to school. Your kids depressed. You haven't been to a restaurant. All the restaurants are shutting down. And guess what. It was the biggest deal. It was the biggest crisis of all time until impeachment. And now all the.

Believe it or not, it could be worse in terms of panic and fear mongering. You could be in the United Kingdom. And there's an interesting column today in front page man here. Another accent coming on. No, no, no. I'm not gonna do this. This is a Katie Hopkins and I guess she she used to be engaged to Boris. He said Boris Has had a full romantic life. Shall we say, But something happened. The Boris Johnson he's he's gone. Charlie Baker's Charlie Baker on steroids Charlie Baker if Charlie Baker weren't Alfa male rather than a beta male So she wrote this column. What happened to Boris Johnson, who she almost married? Katie Hopkins on about She would talk about how great he was, is a conservative leader, and then came Cove it and Boris turned into a turn up in a to pay. My beautiful American family by way of appraising you of the current madness in my country. Let me explain that we're just emerging like anemic zombies from our second complete lockdown, no churches, no family gatherings, no pubs, no shops, no socializing and heading straight into an utterly bonkers tier system. Whereby 99% of the UK remains locked down and 55 million people still can't do anything or go anywhere. The she says. What happened? This again just conspiracy theory. But this is from his former fiance. I believe that in the early part of 2020 Boris received a visit from the covert slash back slash gates team and was either blackmailed with material He does not want in the public domain or was offered power beyond any credible ambition. He surely has perhaps a seat on the new World Government organization. Whatever the hell that looks like, I do not have proof of this. But the change in Boris has been way too dramatic, too have been motivated by personal health or any other rational ex explanation. Now, here's the real theory that I think she has. She just threw that one out. My second theory, says his former fiance, which runs in parallel with the first Is that the arrival of a new girlfriend has caused him to deviate disastrously from his original path. The girlfriend, Carrie Simon's is no weeping Wall Flyer flower. She has a she has political activists credentials and as a climate change Desperado, that's good way to put it. Using her siren call she is. Lord learned Boris towards the globalists and shipwrecked him utterly against the rocks of her will, leading to the undignified exit of two of Boris's key men. Both architects of Get Brexit done. Dominic Cummings and Lee came Where does that leave us? I would argue it leaves upwards of 30 million people in the UK. The people who voted for him in the last election gave him a landslide with no political representation. So again, like like Prince Harry, right with Meghan Markle or or like the Murdock boys. What happens to these English guys? Russ, You're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Russ. How he first thing. A little lumpy means more old people would put in the icebox. Charlie's old folks, homes. That's the little one thing, people said. People said. Lumpy is lumpy. A little rascal. Know, Lumpy was one of beavers. Friends on Leave it to Beaver. You remember that Russ going remember very well the whole cast. Now the reason why how we had called this Let's face it. Justice Department is gonna help altogether two administrations in four useless attorney generals. Build virus. Far as I'm concerned, he's a complicity college he should ask for air.

"Socialization. I think the Senate and for that is fun. Isn't it? It used to be, how it but I'll tell you one thing, And I know this for a fact. He has absolutely no Right to be saying what he's saying he has no proof. That's just a blatant blanket lie that he's suggesting that people were just willy nilly congregating without mass and creating all this havoc. If you look at the stats, and you look at the contact tracing, that's gone on. There's only been 1 to 2 cases. I believe in the old Commonwealth of Massachusetts tied back to youth hockey. So he's completely false. He's as the experts like to say He's not following the science. He's not following the facts. This is an emotional decision, and if he could just put a thumbprint on on youth hockey Where most of it begins outside of the Commonwealth. And he doesn't look bad to any of the businesses here because in his mind, he's not hurting anybody. He's hurting someone from another state, and I'll say this. This minute, Howie, not one person from the government. I've been on your radio show speaking about this melt multiple times, along with other avenues. Not one person for the government is yet to call anyone of my businesses. And as for my opinion, how can we work together on this? How can we solve this problem I employed over 2400 people in this state and I no one will even answer the call. They still won't answer an email to me. I've reached out more than a dozen times on various occasions. And I'll give you the latest statistics deaths among people under the age of 20 for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts 11 death in all this time. I'll give you Let me give you some other stats here. These are up to date stats just out. 10,017 people dead, confirmed dead in Massachusetts. That's a grim milestone, Wouldn't you say Robert Walker? And of those 10,017 people. 6538 have died in nursing homes regulated by Charlie Baker. Charlie Baker's nursing homes have accounted for two thirds of the deaths. How many deaths have you accounted for? Robert Walker? You in the hospitality industry about zero, right? Zero minus zero. We take it very seriously. We do apart and you can manage this very easily. Howie by operating with just simple common sense. I don't need some government official to tell me how to blow my nose and watch my hands. My mother did that very well for 45 years when I was born. Learned pretty well pretty quick how to take care of myself. Let's play some more of Charlie Baker on hockey. I know there are a lot of hockey hockey dads and hockey moms and young hockey players and just people who don't like being stomped on by by the government for no damn reason. Cut 17. "Such a weird time some of it so calm and orderly as drumbeat of crisis you know the medical side and the economic side. I mean I think that's the purpose harder to see futures. He's going to be a great depression. Hannah bought out in a way that doesn't wreck the country's of five years. Yeah what to do not to open up. It's all it's really tough questions but I mean I I I think both Massachusetts and Maine are being pretty conservative on it and I really grateful for that my friend and it's a Naples Florida. I mean they're they've just opened up everything and People aren't wearing masks and I just I worry for their safety. Because they're older they're out and they said going to Costco's the only time they wear masks to the grocery stores mass just how it is so. I don't really grateful that were in states. That are taking very seriously. I saw a ranking of Approval ratings for governors and Baker Charlie Baker's the governor of Massachusetts and he was like second or third on the list. People just really think he's doing a good job. He seems very calm and informed and he's following science and he's truly relying on all of the incredible resources that Boston Massachusetts has the medical community and universities. Which is have a feeling of confidence that he's doing a good job scream. Yeah and I think. The main governor's doing a really good job. I don't know how totally how people are feeling about that. Because there's a lot of people that Yeah there are are some people resisting it. I don't know that there's a lot but But I think she's I think she's doing a great job and there's a doctor that means Dr Foul cheap talks every day to Maine public radio. Just very calm presence Intel. How many cases there are and how many are hospitalized. How many recovered and just takes it step by step? And he so calming well the other thing that the place I've seen the result of communication is the place where dad lives. You know it's a retirement community of two hundred fifty people and every day at ten the director of the community and her boss. I think get on the closed circuit. Tv so that everybody can watch and dad watches it every single day religiously and she just says exactly what they're doing you know and the other day that they said now. The people in the sixth floor can leave at to go out for a walk on the patio and they had this kind of measured way of them. Finally being able to get out of their units and and there were two benefits. I think one is. I think I can tell that he's calmer. And the other thing is he says we're a community here. Were were doing the right things whether it's using a Kleenex to press the button on the elevator to dock leaving the unit. We're doing for ourselves. We're doing it for each other. Because we feel like we're a community. And you could really see the power that and obviously. There's a real challenge to do that. Did a state level nevermind a national level. But it's it's one of the saddest things I think is that you know when you get the Hon. Dad's community that sense of community breaks down because people are so divided. It's it's and I think it makes it harder to do the right thing. And Yeah but people are worried about their own health. I mean I see that with people who are trump. Supporters adds a trump supporter and. There's there's no disconnect in what he's seeing on from kind of an ideological point of view and how rigorously he's following the protocols and I see it with other friends of my back friends of mine back in Colorado and trends on the street here You have been neighbor on the end of the street that has huge trump signs and trump thing on her car and all this kind of stuff and her husband has some kind of leukemia and he has some he has his immune system's compromised and they're being very careful they don't go anywhere. They keep their distance. I don't really see them at mass. But they're just very very vigilant and I think the other side's probably truly people who are so Democrats. I I feel like when we can get take out at a restaurant and support some businesses trying to get back and going. I mean absolutely the The individuals care about both things. They care about the economy getting going and they care about being safe absolutely. Yeah Yeah Yeah. I think it's really important to really tip the people well and Yeah to do everything we can to to help them. Because it's it's really get through this together. Well this is wonderful. I could just sit here all morning and talk to you in the Sun with her coffee and tea. This has to do about the kindle or any. Yeah I mean we. I have purchased several kindle fire devices over the years and there were at least a few cases available prior to their initial release. My expectation was that there had been some sort of coordination between Amazon and traditional case vendors. Apparently for the first time there will be no cases or other accessories until the day of released based on the Amazon response. He's got one that he received from Amazon and as very different and disappointing Well I agree. It's different and disappointing and I assume it has to do with the corona virus that does the resources get shifted toward the all of the retooling and everything that's going on for the coronavirus. "Four four five hundred forty two forty two AM to beyond our Kerr the night at eight thirty fox news is getting its best ratings ever ever the twenty three year history the cable channel the Democrat the bay to paying off big time well maybe the the opponent the eventual winner them at the bank more on all right eight four four five hundred forty two forty two is a is is president trump he speaking this hour is a nod well he's not on yet we may take it we may take a little bit of that speech it or not when a virus that'll be from the White House just wanted to let you know a couple of breaking news stories this is from call upon them to Bloomberg starting to collapse in polling I wonder why I wonder why Nate silver he's the polling guru he's buddies all the polls I mean he gets stuff wrong about slavery like the twenty sixteen election but he's he's he's the number one student I guess I am mayor Mike is slowly transforming into the walking dead this is Nate silver nor is there any obvious way for him to turn it around before super Tuesday he isn't competing in South Carolina his performance in the debate last night was improved in my opinion but initial polling suggests voters didn't like it very anything about rolling your eyes if Biden when South Carolina the race remains more open but Biden will have a fairly clear claim to being the best alternative to Sanders and per our projections would likely finished comfortably ahead a Bloomberg on super too in super Tuesday delegates so Bloomberg might be in a fairly distant third place one week ago today Bloomberg was at sixteen percent nationally on the up overall polls within two points of Biden and he had that really wretched the babies now slipped to fourteen percent Biden is rebounding slightly and it he's got a big problem in it in California a week ago Biden had climbed six points in just a few days and seemed on route it to giving Bernie a real fight then the Nevada debate happened he's lost nearly four points behind it since then and momentarily finds himself in fourth place behind even Elizabeth Warren but so this is and this is it and another poll but with the NPR poll has him at five percent compared to Bernice thirty six percent thirty six percent all Bloomberg is accomplishing is depriving Biden and maybe with a judge in Warren of votes than otherwise receive in the quest for viability now isn't this set researchers said about this I just don't understand how it's going to be anybody but Bernie I mean I I to be honest I don't really get the process of how it works with the delegates but at this point if they if they don't use burning they're kind of stealing it from again right yeah so what has to happen for them to have a reasonable hour excuse to not choose Bernie Biden has to win South Carolina and then when it's vied viable over the long haul long haul being two weeks I don't think so is he maybe in nineteen twenty and twenty twenty yeah five oh eight says Nate silver's a millennial dumb asked we on a good day yeah but he's telling us something that would that that makes us feel better today the Bloomberg is fading so we're gonna go with it meanwhile o'keefe at that project veritas has struck again James o'keefe now he has taken out ABC correspondent David right don don here hello yes I don't know who he is but he you know he works with the same network as George Stephanopoulos former us Clinton crime family member not an associate a made member of former chief of the bimbo eruptions you making now making thirteen million worked with for many years Brian Ross the guy who was eventually let go after he he presented some very fake news about Donald Trump which followed his very fake news about the Aurora shooting which he blamed on a member of the tea party so now update up in New Hampshire a couple weeks ago keep that is a his minions out and they they uncovered they they recorded David Wright veteran ABC news correspondent David right you want to take our word for it that he's a veteran you'll thank this new stories work is not of a survivor heard of a guy he was suspended today after he was caught in a project veritas undercover sting declaring that he was a socialist in referring to president trump is this bleeping president he will no longer cover political stories upon his return he's worked for the network for twenty years any I'm laughing as I even look at this report paired a prepared a chuckle this is the email statement from the network any action that damages our reputation S. "In a way in a way if you look at the overall the overall legal market you hope other states come online because that will really start to make a dent in the illegal market however from you know homeboy if you will a home girl thank you for it the Massachusetts being the only one that's legal or selling now we're pulling in customers come from all over New England and probably beyond yeah we're we're finding that we thought we have you have you talked to the guy who's a who owns a car wash whose converting it into a drive through retail facility all I heard about that so I've not talked to them Bedford about these interview listen to earlier our recreation revolution it's eight episodes on their very funny funny guy and he's just one of these people who were coming up in this industry who are it just these innovators and like the it's it reminds me of a little bit of for the early tech days in Silicon Valley in a little bit of the old west where people are just doing things like even in gym even with our delivery you know right now you can call the company that the for instance you can order a aid Jews from them and they'll also happen to bring some weed as a gift and there's a TV it is the T. shirt company and people are finding these workarounds so that the light it kind of I don't know you can you tell me to be kind of makes it easier it should make it easier for the control commission to just say Hey look it's already happening guys this is what let's just good just changed some a few lines right down here and come up to it and bring our catch up to reality yeah I know you would think that that would be you know pretty much an Avenue toward loosening the the the restrictions on delivery services because these delivery services as you just pointed out are already happening it's great market delivery but but it's in there but that's not the way to Canada control commission of thinking they're thinking we're going to put in place but we're going to put in place in you know the right way there always is talking now about body cameras on all delivery personnel you know something is far beyond what any other delivery service either pharmaceuticals or alcohol yeah the commission is not it's already happening let's just see what they're saying it's already happening but so what we're going to make it happen the way we want it to happen that's that's over that's when there is civil liberties problems among other things the every what it's what's the problem delivery at this point I think that they are worried about the potential for crime to occur when a delivery person comes up to make a delivery I went in after hearing what they discussed this but there is this idea causing a mandatory body cameras on on delivery for us now there's some push back on it but my sense is the way they can't control commission is going that's what's going to be required in the war one more question area or put in there you know that that has people a little bit worried is of the driving under the influence of marijuana doesn't really beat easy way as yet to determine if somebody's high while they're driving or just have partner in their system but he is certainly law enforcement is worried and that's one of the things that is that scares the general public I think about high driving yeah yes I understand that but you have to take a rational look at it anybody who is driving in a way that that police officer considers dangerous if they're if they're swerving they can be pulled all of our doesn't matter if they you know if they help tell us to determine whether you're intoxicated on on cannabis on out or anything all that matters is that there's probable cause to pull you over and take you off the road at that moment if you feel a field sobriety test it doesn't matter what substance you're on the question becomes what you can prove in court so all police can solve the immediate problem taking somebody off the road you know that that's I think it's a misperception people have that if somebody's heart we can't do anything we can't stop them from driving well if they have pulled over there pulled over presumably for probable cause because the police officer noticed something abnormal in their driving whether it's around it you know operating they could be pulled over they could be taken off the road what you can prove in court that becomes the issue is difficult right now because there's no per se standard there's nothing that's equivalent to a breathalyzer for alcohol we're hoping that comes in and I think it will but you know one thing to point out also since decriminalization in two thousand and eight cents medical marijuana two thousand twelve and legalization in two thousand sixteen there has been not been an increase in in intoxicated Candace Dr it simply hasn't despite every one of those elections D. A.'s the sheriffs and police you saying it may have on the highway it's going to be a catastrophe nothing like that has occurred Google and Google you know it increase in intoxicated driving by cannabis and you'll come up with nothing it hasn't happened in Massachusetts or in any other state interesting the sinks into it so Jim how is the the benefit the health benefit affects of US CB the help do you think the overall brand of of pot well you know what I want to see I want to see more empirical evidence that C. B. D. and cannabis actually you know is yeah I can actually you know verify what we hear anecdotally that people are being helped by the family here in accord with all the time yeah when I say anecdotally I'm talking a person who says well this is the only thing that has helped me but I think there was recently some of the other a large chunk of money given to Harvard and perhaps M. T. to actually study of the effects of CD and Canada's medical CB antennas on treating various symptoms what's with this needs actual hard evidence over a longitudinal study of the effectiveness of this but certainly we've heard anecdotally there are many many people who are getting relief from Canada so he simply didn't get from other pharmaceuticals so the anecdotal evidence is there I want a few scientific evidence I think it will do nothing except help me in this regard do you have other concerns that if it's not proven or if it's just proven that people will just the control the whole brand out and like what's the coil on this is whatever well no I don't think so because it's proven I think people will still use that and I use the analogy of vitamins the vitamin industry is huge people take vitamins even though there's no evidence I've never seen any evidence that vitamins actually help every study you see said it's either impossible to determine or they don't do anything but the vitamin market is still strong because people believe it and for all we know it may be helping people and if they think it's helping them to continue doing it I think what this will do is actually give you know structure and some verification to what we're hearing anecdotally so I think it'll be it'll be helpful for the general public and for the industry right so the placebo effect is still in effect as a matter so Jim anything that that's on the horizon the excited about that we should be looking out for well I'm certainly excited about the delivery service is hopefully coming online the cannabis control commission allowing delivery even if it's you know with this things like body cameras for the reason that that's a that's a that's a type of license that we're gonna see social equity applicants be able to apply for and pay for because it doesn't require a whole lot of capital so that's that's one thing I'm excited about certainly I think I will help the whole you know I fear for his social equity applicants and I think it'll be interesting to see this test pilot project for other on site consumption facility you know side got cannabis cafes if you well yeah you know we really have to take a look at that and hopefully make the determination that this is really no different than somebody going in and getting a drink at a bar or restaurant I think you know if it's if it's handled appropriately which I think it will be and I think everybody the cannabis control commission and local officials gonna take probably a very cautious in a very responsible approach on this absolutely operators and I think that will help again drive down the state law that you don't still so hovering above this industry is so interesting that is even get it you've got that I'm surrounded I mention this every episode I'm surrounded by my friends who are having we're we're all having you know Bourbon on the rocks here you know in my living room and then they go sneak out back behind the sum treaties are fifty five year old people to to us smoke weed mad understand why we're also afraid so funny one thing you know I came into this I'm not you frankly you know last time I tried you know of any time was when I was a freshman in college a long time ago but I am a policy guy and when I found out how many people actually use this people are you know that I know and I'm thinking you and where you want it people people you know the Baker Charlie Baker who oppose this is you know but his own administration says that nearly twenty over twenty percent amounts relatives are users of Canada's most of them you know responsible use and this is really just saying look you know let's look at a market that has been utterly dominated by you know I'm license and you know some case criminal business people and letter finally realized the prohibition this fail the let's take the right approach to what regulated taxes just like we do with alcohol tobacco and and pharmaceuticals I think it's the right way to go and we're seeing nothing but frankly I think positive developments out of this absolutely in this is we're speaking the gym Barzani we let him go now but remember he is the man who had the faith in the in the dream of legalization many of us were laughing you then Jim we know what happened but but it is come to fruition you're absolutely right about that so much of the stuff in thanks for.
