"Ethereum block explorer Beacon chain announced it will now become the sole maintainer of the four byte directory signature database piper Marianne, the creator of the four byte database said he no longer wishes to manage infrastructure for the project and has decided to transfer ownership to Beacon chain who has agreed to maintain it. Four byte directory is a database of over 1.2 million Ethereum function calls signatures, developers and users can use the database to search bytes and event signatures and map them to their human readable versions. It also features an API for retrieving and filtering signatures for byte directory, processes close to 8.6 million daily requests.

Police believe the 54 year old woman was hit by a stray gunfire in a targeted shooting against a waiter at mandina restaurant in the mid city neighborhood of New Orleans. Two suspects allegedly shot and killed the waiter. Authorities say the woman was visiting the city for jazz fest and her condition is not known at this time. A man was injured while trying to stop a would be shoplifter in a loop Target Store yesterday morning. The incident happened shortly after 9 o'clock at the target at one south state street, Chicago police say the 25 year old man confronted another man, he believed was stealing. These suspected shoplifter pulled a knife from his waistband, and swung at the man before fleeing the store. The victim was cut and taken to northwestern memorial hospital in good condition. Police say officers did locate the suspected shoplifter and charges were pending. Their own black, one O 5 9 W BBM. An Amtrak train struck and killed two people on the tracks outside Philadelphia yesterday. The two victims were trespassing on the tracks, says Amtrak trained one 61 was headed from Washington, D.C. to New York when it had to be stopped at around four 40 p.m.. The train line says it is unclear why the victims were trespassing and says the area is fenced and has no trespassing signs. San jacinto, county sheriff, Greg capers, read the names of the victims to the public. Molina, Rivera. 31 years old. Jose, Jonathan, Khashoggi. 18 years old. One of the victims was an 8 year old boy. "John, I think you'll probably know. I'm an evangelical Roman Catholic Presbyterian. That means I go to mass on Saturday night and I go to my Presbyterian Church on Sunday, one river two banks, but I speak evangelical very well. Rick Warren and Greg Laurie are friends, Al Muller is a weekly conversationalist with me. I know, you know, John piper I read desiring God years ago. I know most of the stuff you talk about. I've got to tell you at the beginning. I have never heard of CJ Mahoney or Lou engel until I read your book. Never heard and I've been covering religion since 1992. So first question, do you think your perspective in testimony might be jaded by that particular covenant life church experience and these particular pastures? Well, I guess, can I ask you what you mean by jaded, just that my experience might not reflect a more mainstream experience? Is that what you're kind of? Yeah, I think mainstream evangelicalism is not anti intellectual at all. But then again, I've had doctor Mark Roberts as a pastor for 25 years. He got his undergrad and PhD from Harvard. Doctor Larry is my current pastor in oldtown is a phenomenal scholar and preacher and archbishop who is listening right now in the author of three books is an intellectual giant in the Catholic world and I've written three books on evangelicalism and this, I just think testimony is a 100% accurate about 1% of the church. How's that sound? Yeah, I think my dad raised a similar objection. When I talked to him about the book, he does not feel like a lot of evangelical culture is anti intellectual. And I think it's a totally fair question to raise. I do think that even if you haven't heard of CJ Mahaney or Lou angle, you know, I did some reporting recently. Let me deal with CJ first. CJ is not a figure on the same level as somebody like Al molar. But until about, you know, 7, 9, ten years ago, he was of a similar stature to Al mohler, if not as nationally known. So never quite got to that level, but was kind of on his way there was working with Mueller quite closely in a group of other ministers who were organizing a conference every year called. Police have stopped searching nearby Woods and landfills near the Walsh's home in cohas, Massachusetts until they learn more. Tishman spire, the D.C. real estate firm where Walsh works as a regional manager during the week, says, quote, we're actively assisting the local authorities in their ongoing search for our beloved colleague Anna and are praying for her safe return. "It's only the first week of the year and we clearly already need a Friday. Yesterday, Delphi lawyer Gabriel Shapiro wrote, we're looking at an almost total legal and financial wipeout of the crypto kingpins. Ready to rebuild from scratch, and that I think is pretty much the state of it. Yesterday was just another ravaging day in the reckoning and crypto cleanup following 2020 twos crises. Going in no particular order will start with Celsius. New York State's attorney general letitia James has sued former Celsius CEO Alex mashinsky for defrauding hundreds of thousands of investors by making false statements about the financial health of the company. Raising allegations dating back to 2018, the state intends to seek a court ordered ban on mashinsky doing business in New York State, as well as damages and restitution for harmed investors, according to a statement released on Thursday. The statement alleges that, quote, as the former CEO of Celsius, Alex mashinsky promised to lead investors to financial freedom, but led them down a path of financial ruin. The AG herself, James came even harder in her tweets, I'm suing the former CEO of cryptocurrency platform Celsius network for defrauding investors out of billions of dollars. Alex mashinsky lied to people about the risks of investing in Celsius, hit its deteriorating financial condition and failed to register in New York. Mashinsky tricked hardworking people into investing their life savings into Celsius, promising big financial returns, and claiming the platform was safer than a bank. Instead, Celsius collapsed in New Yorkers were left in financial ruin. I'm suing to get New Yorkers their money back and ban mashinsky from doing business in New York. We will continue to protect people from the risks of investing in cryptocurrency. Now I don't think anyone is particularly sad to see mashinsky on the receiving end of some serious legal trouble. The bus and cruiser involved along with the investigation, though keeps Georgia avenue closed southbound between sligo avenue and east west highway. Earlier last hour, they reopened the northbound lanes of Georgia avenue, and northbound traffic delays have eased out quite a bit. It still congested on 16th street ponti branch road and Blair wrote, but it's really only slow once you get into Silver Spring around. Let's say a Fenton street and Cole's field road. So not a huge traffic impact. I'd say the weather is more impactful this afternoon. It's certainly slippery out there. Take your time on the Cloverleaf ramps, merging on and off the highways. A small portion actually started their position either in january or february and announced that on february eighth so just wanted to clarify that and one other thing that i wanted to point out. Just because i've seen a lot of discussion on whether tussles decision making here would influence institutional investors and things like that. It's probably worth remembering that when we talked to alex potter of piper sandler back in february. I asked if he had been getting a lot of calls about tesla investing in bitcoin. In the first place he said quote not a lot to be honest and then added quote. It's not as though we had us have been coming questions on bitcoin after this announcement and so just worth a reminder sometimes when things are happening people point to them as a reason for x. y. or z. Happening things can tend to get and feel very amplified but sometimes that doesn't necessarily match the not trying to say that the discussion about bitcoin and cryptocurrency as it relates to tesla is not important but sometimes in the day to day. Those relatively smaller pieces of the big picture can feel like they're just dominating the discussion and in those cases sometimes it can be helpful. Just have like cleanse and revisit. Some of the things that are relatively more important. So that you don't get or feel bogged down by the smaller details. So those are my thoughts on that and that is the last.
