Nearly 43,000 people died in vehicle crashes last year, and the number of deaths and injuries has been on the rise since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. We're talking about more than a hundred people losing their lives every single day to say nothing of the injuries that happen. All of us know people we care about who lost their lives in roadway crashes. And when you look at those numbers, north of 40,000, that's roughly the same as gun violence. Buttigieg says money in the infrastructure law will fix some of the country's most dangerous roads, but he says more must be done to combat impaired speeding and distracted driving, which is responsible for more than half of all traffic deaths. Rail company Deutsche ban said this would affect all long distance travel during that period and more on that most regional trains would also not run. Negotiations on a broader deal continue, the strike which would have affected dozens of other rail companies as well as freight traffic would have been one of the biggest in recent years following a previous large scale walkout in April. There is word this morning that those Russian forces are evacuating the mostly destroyed city as we hear from double DTP national security correspondent JJ green cover. The commander of Ukraine's ground forces, Alexander Sierra ski said on his telegram feed, they've successfully executed an operation that's resulted in Russian troops fleeing Bach mode. He particularly heaped praise on the army's third assault brigade. This has had a profound impact on the Russian forces there, tens of thousands of them have died in that region in a fight that Moscow promised they'd win. Now they're packing up and running. Call this one a win for prince Harry this morning is the publisher of the Daily Mirror has apparently apologized for unlawfully gathering info about him in its reporting. The admission was made this week Wednesday in court filings, outlining the mirror group newspapers defense in the ongoing hacking lawsuit Harry is filed against the tabloid. Harry has alleged that reporters at the Daily Mirror Sunday mirror and Sunday people used illegal methods to gather material from his family and friends for nearly a 150 articles. The mirror group is contesting claims of historic voicemail interception, however they did admit, apparently, there was some evidence that third parties were instructed to engage in other types of unlawful information gathering. Prince Harry is expected to testify in the case sometime next month. Maryland just got tougher on people who operate boats under the influence. They're gonna lay out a plan and I just asked people look at the planet's laid out tonight and then look at what's currently in South Africa, and you're going to see so many Docks line up so young who you and I have spoken off air many times because there's something going on in South Africa, that is Horrifying but because the old right got involved, the reporters won't no one will report on it, and it is very similar. To what is happening here in America. I think there is, um there is a part of it. That is race. There's also a part of it. I think a big part. That is that is just lawlessness because you couldn't do anything. We're seeing this here in America. Those for the people who were, you know, burning things down and and rioting and taking things from Walmart. You don't believe in anything. They're just it's just lawlessness because who's going to stop them? Yeah, There is a problem with farmers generally white. That are just being slaughtered in their homes. By these gangs when from nobody is nobody is nobody's willing to verify nobody's willing to go on record and so many people in the mainstream media just deny that it's even happening isn't happening. Glenn, I'm going to tell you I'll go on record. I have the interviews to prove it. My family is there. It's absolutely happening. We have gone from 300,000 farmers in 1994. To 30,000 farmers in South Africa. In 27 years. 300,000 farmers to 30,000 farmers. Okay, The farming community is a direct attack Community in South Africa profiled 100% of your Do you know that by the world's four of the most dangerous job on the Earth today? Is to be a South African farmer. That is the most dangerous job. The whole World Forum agrees to this but in the U. S mainstream media don't want to go there. Why? Because it's predominantly 95% white farmers and we're not talking about killing a bullet. A bullet would be merciful. We're talking about killing, raping women, killing them by burning them with blowtorches. We're talking about dragging them behind vehicles. The lemming people decapitating people raping Children in front of father's pouring hot water down their throats. They just, you know, had a young kid 22 year olds, Farmer Brennan, They skinned him like you skin a deer. In the public square. Hung him in a tree and skinned him. Glenn, This is not we got the photographs. This is verifiable, but the Alton right? Unfortunately, try to make it worse. It's bad enough. We don't need to make it worse. Just let the truth stand for itself. And the president of South Africa says nothing to see here and any in his defense is well this there's you know, there's 50. You know, Motors a week in South Africa, It's nothing to see here. This proportionately when you look at well, who was being murdered, you see? Well, wait a second. There's not another sector in society on Earth that is more profiled, then the South African farmer. Yes, black farmers are being killed, too, because they consider traitors. Because they work with the white farmer, right? And so now you need to talk about the land grab that's going on. The government just just grabbing the gang of land the government and there's no compensation. So you've got a mortgage on the land. You got mortgage on your tractors or your equipment they go. That's your problem with the bank. We're just taking what would taking the land. And do you think they're selling the land? You know that a black farmer in South Africa today want people to hear this? Cannot buy his own farmland. He leases it from the government. So they take land from the white farmers, and then they leased it to the black farmer. He can't even buy it. They weren't allowed to be If you had the cash white farmers of going around putting mortgages down for black farmers saying we want they want it. Can't it's state owned. Under the guise of democracy. These are facts. Absolute fact. I'll bring the proof. I'll bring the I'll set up the interviews, but the world doesn't want to touch it because it's reverse racism and they don't want to talk about that. Don't go. We have We have talked about this. And I've talked about this with my producers for almost two years on death we are going to do. Ah, We'll do a special with you on it, and we'll do it this quarter. Thank you. I promise you, um it is. We just have to be very careful because the all right, as you said, makes it worse. That it is. You don't have to make it want it all now whether it is because of black radicals or just chaos, and I think it's a combination of the two. It's just it's it's what's happening here in America. Right. And if you don't think that that will come here. Oh, my, You're sadly mistaken, Sadly mistaken, blend you walking in the streets and someone commits a murder and they want they want to prosecute the gonna go. We can't do anything to this guy. He's not here. He's a ghost because it's an illegal immigrant. It's from Kenya, Rwanda, You know, Ivory Coast, but what's happening at the moment? That's have held their own and that depart There is hotter right of the circle, and there is that moving screen called On I think the guys in purple work out looking for that all day. I mean, Gillis was called. That's his third foul. Now's the time you have 5 34 left in the game, he does time get keep chipping away. Look for good shots in the rhythm here, Hellcats more than two minutes without a field goal here is buoy out in front buoy. Yeah, the three point line, Gillis on him. Drives past him, leaves it for Nance beyond the three point line, hands to buoy. Here's young at the top. Ryan Young off to Miller. Cops started right cut left. Still, with the ball, trying to shake free of ivy puts up a three no good off the side of the rim and out of bounds, which way It is pretty ball. Like he's a little forced of a shot there. I mean, uh, kind of out of rhythm, trying to do one on one stuff. I mean, end of shock. Lock me because they want to get something else there. Wildcats defense is keeping them in this. I agree, but they need and rebound. Not wholesome Shan the rebounding, but they can make some shots here. There's hot air. Played by buoy off too easy beyond the three point line with young out to guard him, flips it to Gillis. Underhand scoop toe ivy. Audi's guarding ivy looks hesitates feeds Gillis right of the Circle Hand off. Hotter, hotter way out on the right drives into the lane puts up an off balance shot. No good tipped up no, by ET and the rebound on each Had the boy who boy into the quarter. There's cop jumper, Good Miller cop. Was it a three year it too? It was a three and the Wildcats within 4 55 51. He made sure it was a three this time. Yes. Wildcats keep coming back. They needed that 14 point game. Here's Edie Lowe left ET in a crowd ball knocked away and gets it back on the left baseline, sends it out to Hunter. Around a Newman fakes the three step back three. Good boy that is so deflating after the Cats got the three from top Newman with his first points this half really tough shot, too. 58 51 Purdue 3 45 to go, He said. A double screen for Bui who in a cop right quarter feeds it into young young on the baseline spends to his left puts it up. Rattles it home worked his way around. Et 58 53 3 30 left. I really got to try to get a stop here. Just keep chipping away. Eight for Ryan Young. There's Newman. But the hotter and leaves it for Ivy got it to Gillis lob over the top ET scores and it's 50 62 53. It's a really well designed play there just over the top.

This week's episode of w. T. O. P s podcast colors. The dialogue on race in America. With Chris Core and JJ Green. MLB Network's Harold Reynolds and W. T O P Zone. Sean Anderson joined them to talk about Erin's achievements in baseball and in civil rights. Harold Baines, one of the most interesting things you said on your show on the MLB Channel's hot stove was that Hank Aaron hit 755 home runs and even if you took those Home runs away. He still had more than 3000 hits, and that is astounding. Yeah, no, you start looking at Hank Aaron's numbers, and I mean, it looks like somebody Played video games and kept the stats. I mean, Z mind boggling. Tom Verducci had put a stat up there about his told total bases, and he's the closest guy to Hank Aaron in history to total bases withstand mutual And he said, Stand mutual with the bases still in 90 Ft, right 1st 2nd 3rd night foot per base, Right, so total bases he would've had to have 12 Miles. Yeah, to catch upto Hank in just giving. You understand how many more total bases Hank had. Then the next closest player 12, Miles would have been with what music what I had to make up Incredible Sean Anderson. You're a newsman, and you've covered sports as well. And you know the importance of Hank Aaron in baseball, But you've also covered civil rights, and you know his importance in civil rights in that movement as well. So so tell us what your observations are Aaron when he had to go from Milwaukee and the Braves move their team to Atlanta and Hank Aaron did not want to go to Atlanta go to the deep south of first time a professional sports team was placed in the Deep South. He was wary of that. But Hank Aaron had a meeting with Martin Luther King Jr and Ralph Abernathy. And he said that Hey, you know, I haven't been vocal. I haven't been his vocalist other people in this movement. I don't know. I don't think I can help. And they and what Dr King and Reverend Abernathy said to him was no. You have to keep doing what you're doing, because what you are doing. Is setting that standard for everybody. And I think that Hank Aaron through his performance. Set that standard that helped wipe away Ah lot of prejudice toward black athletes because you could not watch Hank Aaron. And not say Oh my gosh, This is one of the finest athletes I've ever seen. Cats Bring it up to 23 to go buoy with caps down 3 76 73. Opposite had to Nance High Post. Heh. Regarding him dance hands to gain sits the screen form games puts it on the deck gets fouled and scores but the wave it off, and he picks up his fourth games to go to the free throw line. By now, every possession and any you could just you could just feel it. You know you got to make the right play is that the line is over to one and one here for Anthony. Anthony spends the ball bounces it twice. Eyes, the rib free throw up and no good rebounded by Brockington from Penn State. And state the ball in a three point lead with two old four to go. Somewhat here he got, he went off. Yeah, well was in the big 10 tournament, 2019 26 points. He went 12 with 15 in that game, And here's Andre Curbelo, the freshman originally from Puerto Rico, played high school ball. Long Island, Frasier out Miller cop to trigger left sideline. Is it? The Bui Bui drives right hands it off to wadis circles to the top. Can't get a shot up. Bob's it back out the cop. Those finance high post hands to buoy. He'll put up a jumper from straight on it won't go and the re down, scooped up by Curbelo Curbelo down the middle accelerating, lost his footing. Saves it outside to Miller and now back to Williams at the top. There's a foul on boo booing Valentino. Sumo is heat drove towards the basket. So Boo picks up his first bell. I don't know what God has called that he was crying about. That's exactly what he was saying that he was using his arm to bump him. Buoy comes out. Nance comes out Ryan Young in and Ryan Greer in for the Wildcats, who trail 62 to 16 25 to go first half here's Curbelo circling, left handing off to go sumo. It's a screen from the shot is really falling down bounces to Williams that back out on top for Bello Inside Bichon ish really puts up a jump hook on the baseline. Good over young. It's 8 to 2, Illinois. So Sean is feeling comes in scores. Here's young at the other end against Bichon ish really spins to his left puts it up off the glass, and he scores to shave. That is 8 to 4, Illinois. You don't double them in the post, he could have scored down there. Here's Miller to Curbelo skips it across three ball from the left.

Gynecologist on what is known about COVID-19 vaccines benefits, risks for pregnant women
"Lindsay and Randolph you're on w. N. Y. C with vaccine expert Dr Ruth Karen from Johns Hopkins. Hi, Lindsay. I thank you guys so much for having my call. Sure. Sure. No. I am currently 25 weeks pregnant and health care worker so I am eligible in my feet. Get the vaccine and actually have an appointment on Friday. You know there's super limited data on pregnant women getting the vaccine and so I was just curious as to your thoughts about pregnant women. Getting the vaccine on, but the potential risks and benefits are to that. Right. So, um, So thank you for that question. Lindsay, and I think it's I think it's a question that probably many people, and maybe many of the listeners here have, um, what I would say is that we, um, unfortunately, we don't yet have a lot of data from studies and pregnant women. For either of these vaccines. We do have some data. There were women in the trials who this trial's did not include pregnant women. But there were women who became pregnant and the course of the trials. Just a very small number for each trial on Bui have not seen any adverse outcomes from those, um, from those studies. Um, but again, those air very small numbers. Um, there is, um, you know, I'm sure that you've seen the statement from the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Um, which Is somewhat helpful and that it goes through some of the considerations. But at the end of the day says, Of course this is a decision between you and your, um, your health care provider. There is not evidence that M R and a can harm a pregnant woman or harm the fetus. We do not have that, Um, that kind of evidence. Um, and there is not Theoretical reason to think that these that this product would be harmful. There are side effects of these vaccines that pregnant women might particularly want to note and fever is something in particular. And I believe a cock has recommendations around pre medication for fever, You know, considerations around pre medication for fever, particularly In the case of pregnant women. Um I can tell you interestingly, of course, um, recommendations for pregnant women very in countries. So in the US, we have what's called this permissive recommendation. Um, the UK Great. Britain has recently changed its recommendations They initially recommended not using the vaccine and pregnant women. They're now saying that pregnant women Who are on the front lines because they're for example, because their healthcare workers should consider using the vaccine. Muchas we are saying in the U. S. And Israel. Pregnant women are being prioritized for vaccination on day. There are many pregnant women who are because of their risks that you know the risks of covert and pregnant women. Pregnant women are at greater risk. A serious disease from Cove it than non pregnant individuals. And so that is why that population is being prioritized in Israel right now. Um Boy, the visor of vaccine and likely will be the same for them. A daring A

Orchid expert Dr Manos Kanellos answers a Dendrobium question
"It's time for question of the week and this one comes from Gaskin who has an issue with dendrobium orchid skin rights. I got it a couple of years ago and it's been a joy flowering profusely for the first eighteen months. He's also doubled in size when it arrived it had a few stumps which made me think you'd have been divided or cutback with my kids. I know to Prune flowering stems back to the next node after flowering wanted. My danger need something similar and should I be dividing those rooting branche. Let's at the base. I am no dendrobium experts so I called on somebody who is to answer this question. Manosque ANALYSIS IS THE CO author of book growing orchids at home along with another orchid expert. Peter White so he was just the person meads speak to thankfully Manas was on hand to answer all Gaskins dendrobium queries. And then some are GonNa see three questions here. The basically the dribble what we're looking at is the drug of nobility which is native to Southeast East Asia and it is often referred as a cool growing in boom which is not doesn't do doctors in that it doesn't really need cool temperatures. But it's kind of spacey kind of special because it is one of the few calm only sold or kids that has a distinct growing unrest phase. It's going phase starts when you see buds on the gains in the rest phase stotts when the new gains have reached almost the height of the old canes their best boat late spring about. Now it's arrest and growing phase coincides with them with the nobody with a here now so I can see city questions that need to be honest from from paragraph. So the first question is what these stumps these dumps. In fact cut of games. The plant didn't need a one that say these case cut off but grow did cut them off so the blunt looks prettier for somebody to bite. Which these second question do you need to cut off the gains of the end of the Florence. No because they are used as reservoirs for nutrients and would that feed the new cades when the plan does need these old gains it will become crinkly yellow and then you can cut them off. It's not like offices which is unique in that. It Kennedy Flower on the same stem. These a flower. Normally it would just stop a move to the new gains but as they do not got the old game. I think this is where I've fallen down with this plant in the past because I in my ignorance of this plot have have cut off those stems before they sent me before they've gone completely yellow and Brinkley and as a result I've I was doing the right thing but obviously I wasn't and you end up with kind of an unbalanced ugly looking plan as well grow can do this because in the nursery does that. He's doing just before shows blunt. But he's doing it because in in your house you have perfect. Conditions was at home. The blood is not in ideal conditions. Most of the time so taking away it's Bui- Wa Shales nutrients in what is it. Makes it much more difficult for it to show? Its best left of left on the left with the plan until the plan tells you does need. I'm I guess this is. Why if you grow a few follow ups all kids you have to understand that the dendrobium Zarb different because that flowering style is quite different. They don't fly off from the same in the same way. Do they? Sort of flying from the side of the stag with a very short flowering stem as opposed to that long one get. We found offices years. There is different than two or three ways from other orchids. And as soon as you realize that most of the darkest got two or three significant but as if you only differences than the very to grow one is you know one or two key things. The key for this one is an interest and a glowing period joining address. You keep it cool in cool bright dry conditions Jewish growing face you know what orchid the key to eight was you do this L. Thrive. It's not difficult to grow at home now. The third question w dividing the Bronx leads at the bottom and a difficult one to answer. It's basically that says yes. No these orchid if it's not given a proper rest videoed develop not bronze. Let's they're called chi-chi's new plantlets on the canes if it does so these are best sprayed with some water will. Miss missed it and win the have enough road full five a couple of inches in length either be snapped off and then all put together in small report and you have a new plan but on this case in this picture this is not. Lebron's lead it doesn't look like a is. It just looked looks like a new cane. Orchid looks that it could do with reporting and now it is that I tend to report it all the way until the end of June. So it is best reported in a weaponry party is good to take a little bit of also dog from the bottom of the boat and boot the audit into its new book which should be only slightly bigger a little bit deeper. These huge go into into the bar. So if you really really wanted you cool take that bit off. But it's risky and you have to ask why the best thing is to be less with planned so you end up with a big stronger thriving blunt and what is the best mix to use with the dendrobium is it just like kind. Classic orchid bog just simply bought a don't balk based or anything called compost. You Know Eh isn't a very and you do. Not because they have long games a lot of people feel they need to put him in a big. But the problem with this is that it's not easy to keep it on the very dry Jimmy. It's rest period. So if need be for weight you could put a couple of Februaries in the but the best to just every time you just slightly at the best the next size up in terms of thought so the nets sized book on. I know that I say it. It looks a little bit too big for its board. But that's what it needs to do to do and say just balk which will enable enabled the grower to keep it on the on the dry side during rest field watering these kids. I mean is there any special requirements? Here judy is growing face You what you keep it moist but not overly wet. You can use hardwood that it's easy but it's good at least from time to time to use a rainwater always luke warm temperatures and it was. The new. Gains was the end of the season growing cheese on Wednesday new case of the the height. Alsi availed gains than you. Keep it on the dry side very little water from time to time with Chevy Mistake. So doesn't get bone dry and deal. You see a new buds appearing on the new gains. The new gains also good to be stoked will be supported otherwise can just fold over all or the garden grow. Not Straight okay. That makes sense. Well that's helped me. Also because I've I've got a couple of little Katie's or might dendrobium which I have. I have to say already removed without really checking what I was supposedly but removed them and they were glass of water in the minutes. Must pop those up there quite small but they have got decent read some them so they can just go into one newport with market bark and hopefully they'll go next year with the oxy skype is is you can just snap them off the gain of the boom rather than a cover to cut off a little bit of this time as you have to do with the with the front office and then. Yes dorothy three together with them on on a very small against the Mita in Bach and and not too much watering at the START STUCCO FLEETS. And then you'll have a and what about this worry that people have the they're all kids in see through. Pulse is not true because I can't seem to come from the nursery and report to. We need to look for seats. Report Oral Paik once. Okay very good question. A book is good because you see the system village focusing the size especially Clear all else equal is a good thing. I clear poured for not only for August for plotted plants as well because I can see the roots but it is not necessary to grow or what is essential in a boat. The guarding orchids is that it has good. Greenwich has blend your host closer to drain or kids especially for an obvious need to drain and dry well. Between what the other thing. Also which is the secret is easy. Key is don't even have a dome even clear participation it the Dome it is definitely made for orchids because no The plan needs that kind of special boot so there are clear thoughts in the market. Which frankly not really good for you. Because they don't have good Greenwich as long as the pot has very good grant. A lot of big holes at the bottom is good for orchids. The all clear is better because you also she system in the roots This House is when you say talk about the Dome is the Boston. Part isn't flat. It's got a raise section which presumably is increasing surface area for more act coming in the menu holes at the bottom of the foot. Give it good drellich than dome is mostly for Asia. The center of the if you think about it is basically a niche may be a neat and a half from the what whereas in innumerable port. It's still possible to have inches away from
