"Thanks for joining us on car Pro USA. Jerry had a story in the newsletter this week. The headline kind of took me back active driving assist. Does not assist, says who trouble I said that the surveyed people about problems with you know some of the driving a new driving technology lying, keep assist and adaptive cruise control and Their findings or that the person using those has a problem with it every eight minutes. Eight minutes driving down the highway. Yeah, something Work properly. I was a little surprised by two because I test all those things. When I'm reviewing cars, and I have found most of them to be very reliable. I found some to be better than others, especially lane. Keep assist. Which is the technology that someday he's gonna know if in wind, self driving cars ever come, that's going to be the biggest biggest driver of that is keeping you in line. Keep me between the hash marks as long as they paint The hash month. Right there is that, but absolutely cars that were really good about it. In fact, Cadillac that I tested with Super Cruise Was extremely good staying between the lanes but other ones will ping Pong you it will. It will take you to the limit to the left and then kick in. And take you all the way to the right. That would be annoying. That would make you not want to use it. That's exactly what happened with me. Let's talk to Jae in Burleson, Texas column from the Dallas Fort Worth Market. Dave, are J. I'm sorry. Thank you. Thanks for coming back. I know you called the other show, too. Did, Jerry. Good morning. How you doing? Good, my friend. What's on your mind? You know? Yes, you and I talked to several months ago. I told you my wife has been looking for a couple years. Get a car. We narrowed it down to a couple. We talked a little bit. This may be a healthy memory, talked about thie. Like a navigator. No, make a long story Short. We have a code vehicle. Prebiotic from Austin, BMW Boston. And I never saw it. Just saw it online. She studied all this. It's a courtesy vehicle. And Saul video and sales person there that we worked with was just super. Can I give you his name? Absolutely. Chris Lang's Feld. And he was just I got to say, and they brought the papers here. You know, they found a process through up here. But the papers to us and Burlison It was a whole touch free experience. I had the car for a couple $100 delivered up here. Covitz Freeman. I have talked about this, when covered started that the people who took advantage of People bring in the car to their home to show them which would have been a little difficult your case because your hours away from each other, but those people who did that and then took delivery at home or their office and the papers with that. Man, I gotta tell you. I wonder if those people will ever buy a car a different way. If they'll go back to the traditional way way here, you man. It would be hard to you know, get back to the dealership on data is doing a really good job these days with their sanitizing Thank you for anything Good comes out of coded. That's one thing. Dealers have learned eyes how to deliver a car had taken card. Show it how to do it on your terms is a consumer. And then also sanitizing part of it. I think I don't think we'll ever have. I don't think it did or will ever have this issue again. What did you get X five or what you get? Yeah, we ended up with it had a little over 3000 miles. A great deal. I tried at the end to do the certified and the guy said Uncle can't do that. Yeah, that's expensive proposition That's about that's about a 1500 to $2000 expense. On a BMW is primarily because the warranty that comes with it, okay. I'm so glad that you got one. And I appreciate you sharing the story and plays always let me know if I could help you. Now this week, I've been driving a 2020 Buick Encore G eggs. Just give you a little history on this vehicle. The encores been around for a long time was Buick. In fact, it's been their best seller. But it's very small and frankly, I think a lot of people, including may then find very attractive. I just thought it was really, really egg shaped and I just I don't mind some curves, but I hate that total overall thing. So you're changed the lines. They stretched it three inches and came out with the encore G X and its. They're going to sell it in addition to the on court, least for now. I think, probably the encore GX. It's probably going to eventually take its place because I think it's going to make theon for not sell nearly as well..

No Apple live event this year likely

"All Right! It's almost September in for a tech reporter like myself enrich dimuro. We've been covering these apple events. Every September really excited about seeing new iphones and what we're being told is for the first time this year. No that it's GonNa be virtual just like The developer's conference was recently, and it got me to thinking rich. What are we missing by by having? Basically a TV, show online well. The first thing we're missing is the hands on with the gadgets after their announced, and so, what normally happens is apple goes on stage. They throw a whole bunch of stuff up on the screen. Do a couple of Demos, which is all great, but then the journalists get to go. Go to a separate room and actually have some hands on time with this stuff where you can really see what's going on. You can see the nuances and the software how the engineering is of the hardware and understand what this product is going to look like for the usually two or three or four weeks before it hits store shelves and I think that's that's very valuable especially when it comes to reviewing products and we're definitely going to miss out on that this year. I just don't think it's the same to have to watch the TV show for two hours which which we would do anyway, so the iphone event is the biggest event of the year. HANDS DOWN NO QUESTION I. Would always tell you it is, but nothing happens. They're the IPHONE. Stuff really happens but I gotta I gotTA. I gotTA wonder. Ww See I saw the headlines, but it was not the same now of course, iphone, ww or two different kind of events. This is a developer's conference, so it's not as big consumer thing, but it just didn't hit like an iphone event would when you say. Absolutely, not no, of course not and the sad part is you're right, but they did announce a lot of interesting things that I think we might have seen like especially with the car key stuff like they probably would have had a BMW, or they might have been doing private drives with some journalists to show off that new feature because what happens is there is the headline that gets placed on all the newscasts on that day in all the newspapers and all the websites. Websites, but then there's a trickle of secondary headlines and little inside scoop that these journalists and with W WDC. We really didn't see that because nobody like I, said everyone sort of had the same access, and it was weird and I think that apple did a pretty good job of of commanding some of the news after that, but not the same way with the iphone and the differences. You've got every single reporter that's local to their company and their station and their outlet. Hands on with these devices, and of course that's what's GonNa play because they all have their own followers. They've all got their own viewers and listeners, and that's really what they wanna see. They WANNA see their person with the new device. Well. We're not going to do it this year, but my perdition is September fifteenth. Tuesday for the event I could be wrong. We'll see and analysts. Oh, you've got a date prediction. And and the analysts I've spoken to predict the first week of October four new phones with the top of the line phone, being ready for five G., the Super high speed wireless service that is slowly rolling out.

iPhone 12 preview, via iOS 14

"It's July which means. Everyone were only about three months away from getting our hands on a new iphone. In mid-september, apple is expected to introduce its latest and greatest the iphone twelve in a host of price points and designs. No one knows for sure what exactly they will look like except that they will be built for working on the new. Super Fast. Five G. Wireless. Networks. But this we do know the home screen is going to be very different. Your apps will be gathered in a way. They're not now making calls and scrolling through texts will be more visually interesting, and you'll be able to turn your car on and off with an iphone. Maybe let me fill you in. Today's talking tech I'm Jefferson Graham now those new features. I just filled you in on our part of thirteen, the latest update apple's mobile operating system, which will be released in September the new. IOS provides the new look for the latest iphones and works on older phones as well. Let's run those features down. The home screen design is to give you more info at a glance, says apple, which means that in addition to your apps you can also see for instance a ticker tape of news items your calendar items or the weather. Now, we all have too many APPS and they're spread all over the phone so now apple is going to auto. Organize them into like minded categories. Visuals for calls and texts instead of staring at a blank screen. When you're caller is on speaker soon you'll have visuals over eighty percent of the window and for texts you can organize them by photos of your contacts. Maps is getting bicycle directions, which is long overdue. have. You ever used Google translate apple traveling while now. Apple is bringing translation to the iphone finally. The. Most intriguing feature of the mall is called Car Keys, which lets you turn on and off your car from your iphone or even share the feature with a friend or loved one. Hey, Dad, can I borrow the car just second junior while I send you a text. Caveat in a big one. The feature only works with one model car new. BMW's produced after July twenty twenty, so this one is going to take a long time to get your driveway, but worth salivating for right.

30 Lessons After 30 Million SEO Visits

"Committed to your success online. We've worked with them to a special offer. Just remarking school listeners, all you have to do is go to dream host dot com slash marking school to learn more and get your website online today. Welcome to another episode of Marketing School I'm Eric, Su and I'm Neil Patel and today. We're going to do part three of thirty lessons after thirty million Su visits, so we are on what number seventeen right now. so seventeen focus on branding Google wants to rank sites have a strong brand because there are less likely to create fake news or bullshit contents at what I mean by branding is the more people that are googling your name, the higher going to end up ranking because like everyone does seo everyone at least most big companies do it? Everyone's already doing link building again. At least the big companies are doing it so if multiple sites on the same issue like BMW N. Mercedes right, which go head to head for a lot of type of cars. If. They both have millions links. Who should you rank higher, the one who has an extra hundred thousand at that point, it doesn't really matter but what you are looking for things like brandy. If five times more people are searching Mercedes and BMW would tell Google that people prefer Mercedes branding. Is that important? Right number eighteen. Look at your competition. Your competition teaches you good lessons. Don't obsess over them, but look at your competition can give you ideas ideas go a long way, so leave it or not. I like using Lexis Seo tool for this. Alexa does a good job of their similar websites. Tool does a good job of There's like a net that you can see of similar websites. And they showed that Alexa score as well sites that are very similar to you. The net of five and he can expand. It's like a spiderweb. Spiderweb almost but I like looking at competition to draw ideas from every now, and then what I will like to do is I'll look at the idea and I'll modified. A little bit becomes my original idea. That's where good ideas come from number nineteen. Don't be afraid to have duplicate content what I mean by this is people always say? Oh, king contents, not goodwill. Google doesn't penalize for. This doesn't mean that you should take other people's content. Just slap on your site. What I mean by. Don't be afraid of duplicate content is. Published blocks on your site. Why not repurpose it on link Dan facebook pushed the content out there because extra traffic and extra brand awareness is better than nothing number twenty. Similarly. Think about how you can create power pages on your website, and this is a concept created by Brian, Deane also known as back Lingo and the whole idea. What they power pages you have imagined you have one introduction overview at the top of the page, and it's a long page with just a bunch of content and you can. You can have links that was you. Two different sections almost imagine like little chapters that you have for A. A long and power page what tends to happen there is let's say I'm writing about conversion rate optimization, and it's almost like a complete guide. Sure you can split it up into different pages and just have like a table of contents at the top that's a pillar page, but a power pages you have a lot of content on there, and that ranks well because you have a lot of long tail traffic on that page, so if you. You want to write something. That's more comprehensive considered doing type of setup instead of having a bunch of different pages that are split up number twenty one. We talked about how when you're creating content, you WANNA create amazing content going to create long content you WanNa, keep updating your own content, but one thing that people forget to do with their content, and this is a huge important lesson that many of the struggle with is interlinking if you're not. Not interlinking your content together, you're not going to as well a lot of people will take their new content and linked to the older pieces of what they're not doing is taking their older piece of content, and then linking to the newer ones, so you needed to both ways, not just with your your content, the also want to go back to your older content and adjust links and push more links out to the new content as well. All right number twenty two. If you think about doing us ill, you can't really do it alone. It's it's a team sport, so think about who you need. You need content writers. You probably need developers to get things done quickly on your site. You are going to need perhaps designers, and if it's a really big website talking, you're getting millions and millions of visits a month. You might need product managers as well so you think about it, it's. It's not really just about you. You got to think about how much help you can get to grow faster, and that's going to allow you to scale your traffic a lot faster number twenty three, so you guys are all going out there. Doing S IOS spending a lotta time, and you're familiar with a lot of the strategies, and some of them are old like a MP framer. The amp framework in theory makes her pages low ver- mobile. What you'll find is in the United States and other major English speaking countries. Having a impede doesn't really give you a big boost in traffic, if any,

April Is Podcast Experiment Month

"I talked to you about abundance yesterday and podcasting from a place of abundance one of the benefits of having an abundance mindset. Is that you get to do weird things if you're not living hand to mouth in the thing that you're doing in your business and your art in your profession you whatever. You have some bandwidth to do interesting things. And that's why I am declaring April twenty twenty as podcast experimentation month okay. It's just me that made that declaration but nonetheless. I think it's a good idea and I'm hoping other people will jump onto this idea especially those working podcasters who have have finding themselves now with different circumstances maybe more time maybe less time whatever but just different circumstances especially because we're all as I said before locked inside let's experiment. Let's try different things. You can try for example experimenting the location of how you record. I saw great post on Reddit which I will linked to here in the episode details. That showed someone setup as they were podcasting now from their garden and it's great in a captured a totally different ambience. You can't go to the park and record but you certainly might be able to go into your backyard or your garden or some other place and capture the sounds around you. Maybe you could also changed location by podcasting in a different section or room of your house. You know each room. Each area has a different tonal quality. Maybe that will enhance what you'd maybe you're podcasting from the exact wrong place in your home. There's a much better place. Maybe it's in your car which you have driven in two weeks right. As long as you're not under a shelter in place order you might be able to go take a walk and take your recording year with you. Take your phone with you find a way to get your microphone on your phone working together look. Amazon and sweetwater and BMW are still shipping equipment. So if you need to Bhai dangles red actors to do things give it a shot capturing the noises and sounds of your neighborhood again. Staying six feet away from people can make an interesting addition to your show. You can experiment on different equipment. I just mentioned calling up all their from places. But if you're like me you probably have more microphones than you know what to do with. I talk on an SM seven. Be Every time I do this show. But why wouldn't I break out that Samson? Cue To you that I bought because it was cheap. And give it a shot. Gaza mess him fifty eight. I've got some level and microphones. Heck I even have an old blue snowball which might have an interesting character. Wanted these days Maybe I'll try that or what about the other equipment that you have that you might not be completely familiar with a lot of people still like to use the. Blue Yeti microphone and fine okay but do me a favor now during April podcast experimentation month. See exactly how it works. Those three settings on the back that you think you know. Try them out. Try Different things with them. Try Different Mike placements. Maybe don't put it in the middle of the table and shouted across the room. Maybe try it differently or if you need to open up the manual. See exactly what that thing you have. That piece of equipment is designed to do and are you using it the right way. Now's a great time to experiment with that. You can also experiment with a voices on your show. Are Your kids at home? Like all too many. I have had to cut out a lot of kids. Sounds for some of the shows that we help engineer around here but maybe bringing those kids all on would be kind of fun. I have heard some cool podcasters who are trying that using what they have. Maybe now's a great time to bring on Co hosts or guests if you just do a monologue show like to. Maybe that's a way to play it with new voices on your program.

"I'm here today with senior editor. Jeff Peres how're you doing? Jeff good how are you done very good actually having had an episode for a couple of weeks so there's some good stuff to talk about particularly because last week was the Chicago Auto. Show and I think you and I both know in any other year. The Chicago auto show would not be a big deal but they moved the Detroit auto show which is usually in January. They moved that to June this year. So I think the Chicago Auto. Show benefited from that. And there was some Interesting debuts or things happening around it we're gonNA talk about One vehicle that really. I think got a lot of attention in Chicago but before that we have another car. Debut in this week That by the time this episode airs will have debuted although it hasn't yet but we can talk about it because we know all about it. So why don't you tell us about that? One I yes so when we spoke to Toyota I guess last year when the super came out they told us that there would be no four-cylinder super in the US but apparently till he had allied because there is going to be four cylinder super they were very clear with us Won The super debut and I were. You wrote articles about it like no four-cylinder super. Yeah it's odd but I guess I don't know maybe it was the demand. Maybe they just felt like they could fill a little bit of space between the eighty six and the and the current six cylinder so and you've got the BMW Z. Four which is basically the same car that offers a four cylinder right exactly so yeah four cylinder super happening this week it'll be right before Daytona. Which is the super as inaugural NASCAR RACE? Which is I mean where I I didn't mean to go into a NASCAR DIVERSION. But it's kind of funny and crazy but there's GONNA be a super at Nascar. I can't wait to see how I mean. It has no relation whatsoever to the road. Car HAS NO NASCAR. Racecar does but it's still fun to see them. Put that car there instead of the camera which has been using but yes so the new four cylinder supra gets the same turbo to leader from the Z. Four which is you know. Bmw engine just like the inline six two hundred fifty five horsepower. Two hundred ninety five pound for you to torque eight speed automatic and I think the big lake deal with this is that it's two hundred pounds lighter than the inland six version. So two hundred pounds off Death a lot away. What would of the weight come down to thirty one? Eighty one is the exact number. It's right in between the eighty six and the six cylinder essentially I mean that's I mean they`re. They're kind of filling the white space between their vehicles right. I think you and I have already talked about this. With the rest of the motor. One editors that this car sounds awesome. IT WH-. It'll be lighter. It'll the handling will probably be sharper and it'll be cheaper. We we know it will be cheaper to some degree but we don't know to what degree right. Yeah that's the big question because the current super the twenty twenty model starts at forty nine nine. Which is I think. Pretty reasonable for that car With visa with visas right Now the V six is getting updated too so that will probably get a price hike So I don't know I'm thinking forty k. for the four cylinder which I think might be like. I think that's a little wishful thinking on your part. You actually want to buy it. Yes that that also. I think it's probably more likely whenever whatever you're trying to guess what the price of a car is that you actually want. It's probably safe to like you know. Take your guests. Add five thousand. Like I honestly think it'll be like forty three forty five. Maybe that's a tough sell. Though for that card forty-three they don't seem super interested in selling tens of thousands of them. I think it's kind of like like a mid level halo car so I I think that they they wanna make their money back and and BMW does too so it would be. It would be amazing if it started at thirty nine even model but what other. What other choices in the class are there? You can get a nice ego boost Mustang with the performance pack and the handling pack for. I don't know mid forties low forties and then you can get a turbo Camaro One L. E. for high thirties low forties. Early great cars both really great cars and I think those would be like the closest competitors. Then you could also look like the four cylinder f type and the came in which are also really close. I think the Super Probably GonNa fall somewhere in between there Lab just comparably. But I don't know that segments pretty good so the supers gotta be priced well and it's gotTa bring a lot to the table. Yeah I well let's Like I said it'll it will have debuted or the time has episode airs. But I'm not sure if they'll release the pricing at the same time so we may have to wait a little while for that but to me. Sounds like an awesome car. Just is all gonna come down to the cost a next. I want to move on to the other end of the spectrum the supercar and because for For our coverage of the Chicago auto show by far the most popular car we wrote about was the new Ford. Gt Liquid Carbon Edition. And I find that particularly interesting because the Ford. Gt has now been around a few years and Ford has even had a couple. Special editions of this is another one of those for the two thousand twenty model year. And I'm amazed at how much actually put into this. It's not just a different look for one thing. The obvious thing is its name liquid carbon edition the whole body is bare carbon-fiber and it's gorgeous. I mean yes bear. Carbon Fibre is pretty by itself. But they have masterfully. Put this together. If you look at the body panels. They have done all the work to make sure the carbon we've lines up everywhere and I believe someone someone asked for about the build process and it actually takes three weeks to put the liquid carbon edition. Gt together compared to one week for a regular Ford Gt so that that tells you just how much goes into the body alone but even for they could've stopped there and I think everyone would have been happy. Would've probably gotten as much attention. But for two thousand twenty. They have got more power out of the engine. It's up thirteen horse. Power to six hundred sixty The the engine has a new calibration. So the torque curve is broader there's upgraded Pistons and ignition coils in the engine. They did a couple minor arrow changes to the flying buttresses and the back to make improvements larger inner coolers a new exhaust. I mean they. They have made material upgrades to this car when they don't have to. It is a supremely limited edition car. There's only a very small few of the builds. Lots left for the whole thing that they're going to produce all time not just for this year but they went that far. I mean that's unusual right. It is and I think it's super cool like this is a very interesting take on a car. That's already pretty cool Just the exposed carbon fibre is is such an interesting detail that not a lot of companies do even though I I sort of have a mixed like a love hate relationship with it because to us and I think we talked about this a little bit with the Acura the EMC editions that they're building. Those are super cool right on the paper they're building these in the NSS factory hand building all of them. They're awesome from from a technical standpoint. But when you show this to the consumer do they care like I don't know if the carbon the bare carbon look is like a big thing with consumers I think partners at school for the Ford Gt. I don't think they're consumers so much there are others and I think that will probably I mean these will sit up collection and maybe be brought out and gawked at and driven around a track once in a while. I think a lot of companies. Don't attempt it because it is so hard to do. It's not just you know like we said they lined up the we've and and there's no paint to hide imperfections right so it's all right there and has to be done very painstakingly and end with an extremely high attention to detail so it works here. I think you're right though with the accurate with the PM. See additions like if you know what they are. They're cool but you would have no way of knowing just by looking at them. If a liquid carbon drove by you would instantly no like right. That's more than just a regular Jersey and I do appreciate that. Ford is like keeping it fresh rather than just sort of letting it die on the vine like a lot of companies do where they introduce a new supercar. And they're like here you go. Let's just let it roll for ten years. You know and not do anything interesting so I think that's cool from that standpoint

"And then because there's a different boxes of Bosch boxer Siemens box they had to go and convert a few things few tables over and and stuff and so he finally got that got that completed and done and during the whole time I had been repairing all the other wiring and things. He's like that right so there's a lot of like waiting as going on finding Ecu we're yeah and then flash these you and so as all of this is happening over of course of several months kind of I dunno gave you the opportunity or force the opportunity to snoop around under the hood look at cooling issues and wiring issues and electric electric fan issues and relays and fuses. And because we had other issues we had cooling issue and the brackets and everything for mounting stuff. We're just right on well. and and we're melting wires on fans for some ungodly reason. We don't know why it was just like the wires are heating up so just pulled everything out and kind of started over from from scratch and and cleaned up all the wiring. Yeah I just had to pull back all the insulation on stuff and find where things are tapped into remove some wiring. I mean everybody had been in there her. I'm really really crazy anal about how I do my wiring and everything like that so I took out all solder joints and stuff like that even if someone had you know soldered something to it Even though the wires cut I removed that properly shrunk with adhesive shrink tubing and made everything waterproof thought about you know everything as I'm going through you know if if what something was touching this or that just fixed everything that I possibly saw. That was going to be an issue. And we got rid of you. Know little crappy over the counter connector and things like that and went to all like weather pat- connectors and just did everything the way it was supposed to do and So where where are we now. It get my car back. You can take your back so the day after you drop it off so I wish I had treated Jackson so I get the fans and stuff all the mounted in there are. We got nice flexibility with a digital control box and everything like that that goes on temperatures. The other thing too is that as soon as you turn the key on it was always out always live with the fan and and so the fans are always running all the time when you're cranking voltage goes down an inductive load. Current goes up Blah Blah Blah. Now we're running. We're running a computer on the fans right now. We have a dedicated which which people can buy by the way flex delight to rally. They all make like a smart fan controller. So when you when you when you turn on the car Arianespace has relays built into it now as well transistor is based. That's it when when you turn on the car. It kicks the fan on out about fifty percent so so it does get some era going. It's basically a soft touch a start up so it doesn't shock. NS system ended allows for Further air conditioning and stuff I tapped into. AC coupled clutch comes on it. Turns on the fan automatically and when the engine heats up more area sitting at a stop light it turns it up to one hundred percent and then it backs off when you don't need it so it's less wear and tear on the fan gear on the car car. It's quieter no if you don't have to run a three thousand. CFO Fan right all the time. You know it. It's just GONNA run a lot quieter or that. The inner cooler mounting and stuff like that there was like probably thirty holes in the bumper with stuff so I wound up actually kind of patching up some holes on it not starts in there so at Bolton to one place you you know finally fixed the bumper mounted So the inner cooler. So this has an air to water. Inner Cooler over the big heat exchanger radiator ca ah so the manifold the super charger blows into the manifold that attaches to the throttle bodies and in there is an air to water Kohler. But that that that water needs to pass through essentially a radiator like you would on your car with your radiator so there's a heat exchanger looks like a little radiator mounted in the front of the car and the way that was mounted it was a mess and the the Court Radio Cross support radio support was all packed up and stuff. I decide to make new mounts and stuff. Because it's got the new radio with Ron Davis radiator in it and everything so I had to make mounts for that amount for the condenser and then because they cut out all the support support for the hood goes and stuff like that. I had to actually figure out like how how to mount that to the front of the car into the radiator supports over the hood shuts and it it shuts flush and everything now. The other significant thing is when you put a super charger on your car. It's very important. How the air gets into the super charger? And the the what was on there currently was this terrible old like flex hose like break ducking hoes but it was kind of smashed in cramped in places it looked like it got that run over by a truck. Yeah literally and so. We did a little experiment that we buy. We bought a bunch of stainless to being in some forty five some nineties. Whatever needed some cutting and welding fabricate and you take charge by which I'm really proud of it was so tight I'll how you got? It's an eighth eighth of an inch from any contact point it snaked through perfectly and then have a big nine inch long of filter on. Yeah so we're I'm running on the front of the BMW if you remember some of the pictures and back in the day it doesn't have the stock bumper cover has a CS L. bumper cover and on the driver's side. The bumper cover is is sort of like one hole in the bumper almost like a break duck during probably about three inch in diameter and and that's basically where the filter is mounted. So it's it's right in the line of fresh cold air and no kings are dense in the in that tubing all the way down. Yeah so I I got that. And they're not alone probably is is going to be adding about at least one. PSI of boost. Yeah I honestly. I don't even know how the thing made any power in the last one. They made it was atrocious. So Oh I got. I got all that stuff done actually finally fired up and drove it. What they go two days? Yeah drove a two days ago and it felt really strong it. Yeah it felt fell north of four hundred horsepower to the tire. Yes something like that. It couldn't hold their power through first gear at all. Just incinerate tire so So it was running running really well. And then I I'm trying to work on the air management through the radiator Because they removed everything that cars got a a lot of ducting and in from the front bumper Goes up through the CAL to cal but behind the radio support and then around the engine and everything and people well don't realize how critical that is including the under pan between the the radiator and the radio support in the bottom and everything And all that stuff's gone. I I mean they cut everything out so I drove it around. It felt great I've got the fans. Come on one hundred sixty degrees thermal couple and the radiator and everything and then while I was sitting there talking to Matt saying things run like a champ. Why the hell is it? Two hundred four degrees. Yeah so two hundred. Eight degrees are the ten. Ah cracked the hood open. Pop The hood open. It would actually reduce the heat and come back down. So there's something going on I think flow wise is or something I don't know when they put the together you know sometimes if used wrong head gasket I don't know enough about that. Particular engine per se to design if there's any cooling cooling passages stuff like that but it's acting like there is a flow problem or something so I need to start. Just give it back. Give it back to mad cracks hood and Dr Savage. It just leave it. Just leave it off or just drill about foreign whole side Beatles. Yeah just just drill real wholesome there because he goes why why. They're four hundred louvers in the problem. Solving listen I I we. We're experimenting a little bit as as well on the truck this weekend. This is kind of important because bill. You're you're so many of your car supercharged down. You're talking about doing something on your truck on your new. Ram is where you're taking an air from the outside all the difference in the world and when I had This weekend we posted the video from from banks when I had the Ford lightning over banks and put it up on. That was that that was the video radio. Yeah that was the video from a couple of months ago they finally got around to everything. And and it's a terrible supercharge. We knew that it's it's it's twenty five years old. It's got one hundred two thousand miles on it. It's just a heat pump but right under the hood is the open element filter and a lot of cars. Had this a lot of these so-called cold air our cats or whatever it just an open filter under the hood and putting it on the dino. So I've got the banks. I Dash Rush Gauges in their super goes guys. That is they hooked up. Temperature Gauges and air density gauges. They have an ambient air temperature gauge eighty relative humidity. I have the gauge basically in the front of the Grill to tells you if it's sixty degrees outside that's the ambient air and then I have a temperature gauge age right before the super charger at the inlet. Pass the filter between the filter and the Super Charter. So that's the super charger inlet temp. And then I have the the super charter compressor outlet tamp. It's it's on the pipe between the superchargers and the throttle body and then I have a manifold temp. So that's the air going into into the manifold and what temperature but he's got that modern have a modern fit fit for for your vehicle. I really do. It's basically what the eye the eye dash is. And what I'm seeing is is almost double between more than double between the ambient air and what's in the engine so but sixty degrees outside. I'm doing over one hundred and twenty degrees in the engine. This is an ongoing work to it. It's non on inner cooled supercharged so compressor technology and because you can see all this stuff in real time. Every time I stop.

"Two hundred ninety five pound feet of torque. It'll be through an eight speed, automatic transmission. I don't know that there's any manual transmission valuable. And this should be a little bit of bump and power over the previous generation to leader. I think it's something like fifteen horsepower and thirty five pound feet of torque zero to sixty supposed to be about five point. Two seconds should be pretty interesting. That's what's going to come out. I believe in twenty nineteen. And then. And then soon after that we will have the three liter version which is the turbo charged. Six older of course the in line six that BMW does so well, three hundred eighty two horsepower three sixty nine pound feet of torque and zero sixty four point four seconds. I'm curious if they will do an m. version. I'm sure they'll be an m sport version, which will have. The trim package and things like that for the for the sport. But I don't know if they're going to do an immersion like to see an inversion of it could be kinda cool. I'm not sure how this falls in with. Are they going to do as e? Five? I wasn't sure if they're still doing that or is that the one that's the Toyota Subaru. The Toyota Subaru platform that I think that's the one that. Being shared, you know, I'm not sure, but we know that the new Subaru is coming out and it's a shared platform with the BMW. So a light to get some more information about that. I think that start coming out soon. I think more on the Subaru side, it's gonna be tough to sort of. To sort of Trump the to Jay z motor. The Subaru turbo, that we all love and every fast and furious fan that. That fell in love with the Subaru from the super. I'm sorry, the super turbo, not the Subaru. It said Subaru, but Roenick the you're talking about the relationship between those two because yesterday as I drove home on the seventy three for my last day of Seth on m. c. i. s. not. Right. I saw a nice BMW bads, you know, with the trunk emblem with an w r. x. badging right next to it. Oh, that's weird. It's gotta be some somebody. Somebody making a play on the whole on the whole crew. Yeah, it's it's kind of similar to to view of the photos you've posted with that Lexus and you know, pretty goofy. It's pretty funny what people do with their vehicles out there, and it's weird that we're starting to get these shared platforms. Now I mentioned Subaru, but it was like Subaru and Ceylon, right? The f. are the f. r. s. was was built with the Subaru VR z. now we've got Toyota. We've got the Supra being built on a on the platform. They're speaking shared with BMW. So I mean, I guess it's a way for for them to bring out these these sports cars that are kind of fun, but share some of the development costs by by kind of doing this, this crossover of brands, if you will. So should be kind of interesting to see how that how that all plays out. If if super fans get behind this or not, we'll we'll find out. So there's a bit some, some, some precedents and some some releases. They came out soon and big news from Ferrari and big news from Audi, Audi released what's called the e Tron and it's basically a small SUV crossover. It's all electric it. It's going to be up there like we know we've had the model, the tesla model x. for some time and Jaguars been really talking a lot about their pace through even doing a spec racing division. I think Bobby Ray hall is one of the teams. He's feeling one of the teams out there in this all lead trick. I pace spec racing class, so we were pretty familiar with the. I pace of what we've seen so far. We're actually on schedule to drive one of those. I think in October we're gonna get an eye pace. I gotta check the dates on it, but I'm not. I don't remember for its before or after Sima. I think it's before Sima, we're going to drive the, I pace and really get kind of an idea. And the pace is something like..

Subaru BMW Toyota Sima Bobby Ray hall Lexus Audi Trump Roenick Ceylon Seth Ferrari three hundred eighty two horse Two hundred ninety five pound three sixty nine pound fifteen horsepower thirty five pound four seconds Two seconds

"The likes of Tom Sykes Chaz Davis. We're gonna face. I don't think they're going to go out of world cheap points behind. There's a very real possibility that they might not find themselves on. Great machinery show mirror prettier in the middle. Appreciate some. Some people say now I just I'm not sure. I really, I'm not sure about that. So there's been riders expose rotating around different teams as we know certainly the stock thousand in in Great Britain anyway. But do you think maybe it is it is important for the riders to still be moving around should? Should there be this much action? Is it good for Wilson, Mike? Is it good for us for the fans? Is it good for the riders? Is it. What's your thoughts on that? I think. Conversely, I'm going down a bit more of the fan. This. If you have a ride. Work emerge will own about reviving well-supervised. If you're gonna have revival of worlds, you, you have to. Puts kind of I'm trying to think of a real life example. After three years, you have to move teams three goods. Yes. Because I think three's I j on the bike trutv in years. Second year on the bike, you look into win. Depend on the team races, tiles. Sergio defend all improve. Now, what about five years? I mean, that's that's enough time to the problem. Get at the moment. Well soup, is that Jonathan right? Superb, Ryder, but the cow is accurate a superb back and no one can get near him, but most lands well, that's for everyone else to be about. Yes, yes. But that's the, that's the problem he's with cameras. I keep another two years so you can almost assume that any another two years down the line. We're going to be having the same conversation on the superbike show insurance twenty. The world soup is still boring, inverted commas. I'm not. I think if we Saberi Asian rod is moving teams. Because they have to, I think I'll just, I think I'd be great because if you call someone Jonathan BMW be probably be just as fast. As other words, I'm an sounds like penalized limp. If you go down the aspects of peel mode spot where is as traditional is very nineteen, fifties and sixties where it's a race. And you know, there is no entertainment aspect to anymore because it's been saturated by regulations, Formula one, I'm calling your name world reports is done that. Now they've taken boy in this webs thing and allocations. It set your clutch. Has it not? It's like it's. I the entertainment Barak either Yamaha would be there anyway. They came on very, very good. We spoke to get less the last year and he said he thinks that they would have got their thing they would have. They will do perfectly well at the end of last year. So I say what's in this year? But appreciative. I don't think the right of development is increased at all, but people compared what they think now to like. For example, when we spoke to a lot of the riders at motorcycle live in November, and there was so much up in their back then about all these new rules coming in. Every single person we spoke to was really, really worried very skeptical, didn't think it would work. Didn't understand why they were doing it in some brightest cases Botts biolog-. Now you'd have to say, well, it's certainly in the first few races of the season. It's kind of made things a little bit more entertaining, slightly more unpredictable you'd have to say versus previous years not by, I really am I, if they were, we would have had a pretty is on the podium Wolong before Bruno round. I don't think we're going to be a dramatic change. Put those support in change, then. It's not working. NBA Costa, for example, fourth place team last year, quite consistently. Good. Fourth place out leeann Cam, you could buy a few falls lily good at the end of the season Jodi Thomas in falls. So there's one manufacture straightaway been pushed out BMW. They've not had an amazing year. Really? That's that's face it. Laws buyers done. What people thought Lewis do not really been up the front, not Joe choice was last year, so we can't BMW on very performing. I don't think he's done that much at all. I just think it's people going on and saying that. Regulating Everson done more or less nothing. I'll quote Michael Harris. When he's the end of youths, the rules are not a hero there, then no, there is no water to..
