"She has. Yes. She I think that was back in two thousand seventeen as well. She came out and she was like, no, like hello, I'm not dead. So she's thirty five right now Yes she did divorce from Chad Kroeger in From nickelback people around the lead singer of nickelback. Yes. he's a very important significance. So they're only married for two years but yeah so I mean she's she's been around she thought it was very weird. She's is. She knew she was like the center of this whole thing. Pretty strange to hear that because you imagine someone saying that. But Hey, you're. That you're A. fucking body double in there somewhere. And then you'll be like, no like even if you come out and are like and you do the thing we're like you acknowledge it and you go public and you're like, yeah, like I'm not dead all the people who think you're dead bobby of body. I don't believe you hear the sounds like something about double would say referral. So that's where it Kinda gets. It's like an endless thing that you can unless you like to release her DNA like took a live DNA tests and match it against the NFL I don't know, but it's it's a wild story that it just it gives I feel like it gives other conspiracies a bad name it does ferry ride. This is where people go too far off the ledge with Tim with the fake Milania. You know it's just like the these things are what? You're. Right focus on. Aliens. Focus on the other shit that we know is real. It's plausible. Yes. That's at least plausible. Sat and it is unfortunately, we should mention a topic we've covered on the show extensively she's lime disease. Struggles with big time. So she has been my mom snow. She's Mama's but on the show. Last year two-part Soda Think. She. Has Been Very affected by it you know bedridden and stuff like that. So that's a big reason why she's been out of the public eye, but I think she released. Recent album came out in two thousand seventeen. Okay. So she's working. Yeah. All right. That's That's ever Levin. That's an Melissa. Melissa, what percentage of you by this? It's like I never want to put anything at zero so I'll put it at zero zero zero. Point Zero, zero, zero, zero one like an eighth of a percent chance. All right. I think that's good enough and okay I chief. Thank you. All right anytime. All right that's it. Everybody We will cut you all tomorrow..

"I guess every every Levin Story has to be told with a grain of salt. You can't tell if it's even her the real thing or not. And then I guess, and this kind of makes at least in my head makes perfect sense that they've traced this theory back to A. Brazilian fan page in two, thousand, five. Now, I want to say in two thousand, sixteen something like that. It was either like USA Soccer USA basketball was playing against Argentina. and. I like said some kind of disparaging thing about Argentina or whatever I can't remember exactly what I said I got flooded with. Argentina people being pissed at me all over South America actually people being pissed at me and they all had like one direction fan accounts. So it was like you know one direction fan you know thirteen comes at like and it was just a million of those. So I don't know in my brain South America's just obsessed with our music scene. So the fact that I'm like all his in brilliant page, of course, I remember those crazy fucks on the Internet so. The experience. So there are just kind of I. Think they're just kind of maybe weird about our music in general the Internet's weird place but the fact that it started there. Wasn't totally surprising. Okay. So. Act Good facts, and I can't remember if I said this they at some point they said the real admiral died and Melissa, took over like her full identity inland just social security card. There's only one Avenue Levin. It's now this woman Melissa and there's like kind of I would say clues that people point to One of them is that admiral started dressing differently on the red carpet or essay the original labral like you think of her like skater boy likes you know maybe suspenders always wearing pants like a tank top like that look and then. Melissa. Averell will call. Whereas I will she likes skirts and dresses and like kind of Glam it up for the right carpets feel like that's weird and then they show like these. You know if you go on the Internet, you see these. Side by side pictures of like old averill versus new. Averell. Like their shapes a little bit different and they point to like birthmarks and the nose is a little nose is a little bit different. Know, and this is one of those things where it's like, hey, people there's there's a pretty good explanation for that. One just grew up. All a simple like aging thing you know people's don't look the same I looked when I was sixteen I'm a foot taller than I was back then. So that's you know people's faces and shapes and things like that change. But no one wants to hear that the other one. It's theoretical that she could have also just maybe changed her makeup. So her makeup makes her shape. Look a little bit different. Girls have all sorts of crazy tricks to do. That and maybe even she got the plastic surgery done, you just don't know that happens that happens to happens every day now. So but that was that's a big one that they and they I saw like the birthmark lay she has freckles birthmarks on her arm, and then there's like one of his like just a tick like an inch like different than the first picture and maybe her arm just at a different angle you know it's like it's things that..

"All right today is Tuesday August twenty fifth bucking the dog Wa Barstool sports as always I'm sitting across from my friend chief chief. How's it going? It's going well, we're GONNA have some fun today on this one we got quite the wacky conspiracy theory to give to you. Yeah. So we've done like very serious ones where like I'm even uncomfortable talking about this one a little bit later. Averell Levin. The body double. The one that pops up on social media like I don't know every couple of years. So maybe we'll be the ones who started again this time. It's a lot lighter and here's what the show also intends to do. It's not always hey, you know. Sometimes, it's hey, here's this conspiracy theory explained yeah you know and and part of sometimes part of the explanation is that people are fucking nuts. That's part of the explanation. We did that one last year that there's a large group of people who think Finland just does not exist. So it's just a body of water. So we'll sometimes it's just people are nuts. Yeah. So if you're sitting there wondering I remember that thing back in you know a couple of years ago where people thought ever Levin had a body double because she died. Why do people think that this is going to give you some background and how the hell began how Yeah, that's kind of the kind of the key because it is one of those things where it's like. It's a name and it's like she's just famous enough and everybody remembers her but it's like that. You know she was kind of weird anyway. So I feel like there are some kind of. Ways that she kind of fits the profile that gives the story legs and like get people excited when it's in reality, it's People are just crazy. I mean Skater Batman Skater boy. She a lot of jams that was a big time town. The producer of ears skated guy yeah. Was She your girl? Were you a big apple fan if he had to rank? The mid. You know I was still in like grammar school is going on so she was pretty complicated Yup. Yeah, that was good. I'm standing on the bridge thought that you'd be here by. depressed. On that on that was nice, she's definitely fourth for me of the I feel like there are like a big four from that era and as Jessica Simpson. Spears and her Lau thank her into that I think she's on the. Research like a punk chick that like a different vibe she was very popular. Very good. She was not I don't know. Jessica Simpson and her at opposite ends Christine was probably a little bit more towards averill and Brittany was right in the sweet spot where she's a little naughty. But still that's an interesting mount. Rushmore. Than think I'd be here issue people's takes. A little sidebar conversation. Yeah exactly. But I, let's get into when we start here with ever. Well, we can just get go with the story So the. So it goes is that she had.

"What you know what you prepare? For or what question you, ask them? Like, I remember early on in the process asking him specifically directly when we met with them before the games like what kind of questions do you like that? I know you hate to do it L. I don't like to do it L not with you. Anyway. Because you know, you look like you hate it. You're doing this all wrong like you need to have people think that when you're interviewing people on the sidelines. It's must watch TV. And they're gonna get a lot of information. Like, you telling people, I don't really like doing it. And they don't really say anything is not good early on that was early on. Right. And so what happened was is the first couple of times there were some short responses, and I think what happens sort of the most famous one and I'd say famous relative. Was when I asked him and the first one was very open ended whatever I think it was about the defense. It would have you. And my second question was how do you change that or something like that? And he just legitimate thought. And he just looked at me and said gimme a break will you and then walked away. Yeah. And so I was a little bit and shocked by that. But what I realized by that point because it was a couple of them where a couple of times where it happened where it just made for good television. Anyway, right. It's like, you're it's almost like the audiences planning for it. And if it happens, it's organic, and you know, he doesn't seem like it's forcing it. Then it's a great moment. And it's Larry's when I was probably the did he say to you. When you you didn't tell us what he when you asked him like, what kind of questions, do you like we basically just wants like open ended just generic would you like what didn't you like something like that, you know, and not to give away the farm. But that's essentially what it is. Like, he just doesn't wanna have to think. Like, it's I think I've said this before and I don't think he would take this personally. But it's a combination of being a little Brady like I don't wanna do this. So I'm just going to be a little bit of. But he's also sort of a stickler in his own mind to like, oh, I'm going to answer the question that you're asking me. So don't ask me a question where I have to sit here and think as if I just watched. Film and analyzed it. And then able to to answer your question. But really it's just because he doesn't like doing. And that's again that's perfectly fair. But it seems like lately Randy I've been getting solid answers from him. And lately, I haven't had a San Antonio game this year. I don't think I have on my schedule. But like it had been really good and people are starting to call me a pop whisper, perhaps how much how much do you take in that? What I'd take pride in is the guy just kind of liking me like when we talk in the pre game. I could just kinda tell he's got a little bit of respect for me. This is this is all kind of dream job situation for me as it is. So the fact that you know, in the last time, we did an interview last year the end of it. He literally said the words it's been a pleasure. And I was like that wasn't sarcastic or anything. You meant every word of that. So if Popovich was understandably intimidating and something where you felt like had to go about it the right way, who's the anti Popovich whose whose the NBA coach that you not only enjoy the most. But perhaps look forward to and Brad don't drown Roca. Brett Brown the access.

"Ever. Laverick? I am way overpaid. Sports. Live third show with this to God's own ESPN radio feel like king ROY here about to make a proclamation. We're here at the ten lebatardshow with stugatz. What like congratulate the city of Jacksonville. They listen to us now on ESPN six ninety Duval, baby. What I'm Jay Ville? Congratulations jacksonville. All if you wanna wait until Monday to get a good sense of what the show is like, I don't recommend it. You should listen today and tomorrow as well. So that you know, what's not great to listen to as well. That would be me not you into your doubt. The nail on the head. I applied for and didn't not get a job in Jacksonville out of four mine. We still love them. So no, yeah. Not at six ninety. I couldn't even place couldn't even ply. Now. Spend plenty of football Saturday in X Ville. I wanna hear Gregg Popovich stories. But I I want to ask if you got any advice before you I interviewed him or what you thought it was going to be like before it happened. There have been many time. Even after the first time I spoke to him. And I don't remember the actual I I experienced, but there have been many times where I am praying that the Spurs either go ahead by twenty or fall by twenty behind by twenty because that's sort of the the magic number where if you're coach you're about the interview it's got to be the third quarter. Right because you're not gonna be down twenty first. And if you are, hey, we're still interviewing you but in the third quarter. If you're if you're the home coat and you're down twenty plus and you've only got a quarter to go. It's like, we're not doing the interview kill it. Whatever you don't eat to ask them. Hey, our you going to mope over the next fifteen minutes. But there are plenty of times where I've been praying for that. And the reason is just because it doesn't really matter..

"But I just wonder that I just know that they're going to need some more help up front if they're going to be dealing with an Embiid in the playoffs with a Janas in the playoffs. Maybe even with a Siaka men and Leonard in you know, who have that mid range two to low post game like they're going to be more help there. And I think the person with the most potential to get you something great back is a guy you just signed a little bit ago, and you know, who still has presumably three or four good years left in this country. There's just it's still such low coming off of thirty five points and in his best by far of the season. It to me it's still such a cell low point with Gordon Hayward. Now who's to say maybe a month from now if considering a couple of these games together. Who knows? But I it sort of bleeds into the Anthony Davis discussion, especially after how frustrated Davidson was last night after a game. That was the final score is gonna make it look so much closer than it was is the nets had one hundred five points after three quarters on this pelicans team. Anthony Davis goes for thirty plus in twenty six rebounds, and it's still not even close to being enough. And he was as frustrated as vocal as I've ever heard him post game. And so the way Boston ties in is to me. Yeah. I know there's LeBron. And there's the agency ties and there's a Western Conference and there's Los Angeles Boston still has the best potential deal to present with the picks with the young talent. And it could alleviate not only the fact that they need a big, man. But the fact that they have too many guys too many shooters and not enough ball to go around. You think you're more willing to be sold as a pelicans fan on them bringing in Jalen Brown and Trevor road, Terry Rozier, or would you be more? A sold on. Hey, we picked up an all star. And Gordon Hayward who's getting healthy? And maybe I don't know a Robert Williams and a draft pick. And boop. Like, I that's why I'm saying if you're trying to get something big in return, you might say to yourself. You know, what Gordon still has he's sellable because you can sell a team on. Hey, he needs to be the primary if not number two guy. He's not that on our team anymore. We willing to move on. Here's a good fit for you in. We have incurred the year that you need when you're recovering from one of these catastrophic leg injuries we've eaten that. So now, you get nothing, but but potential and realized potential moving forward, I want to ask you Gregg Popovich stories, and I think you're out for it. And I want to do that later donlevatar hold on a second. We've got one minute left in the segment. Can we have everyone including ROY ROY? Do you do a fix to got? Yeah, buddy. I actually do. All right. Let's all of us. It's going to be being John Malkovich for one minute. Go. Stugatz..

"That was premature if well we're ridiculous guided about him, especially as he got further into the playoffs and how he was showing off he can take that team on its back, or what have you, and I think, you know, a young with young Kevin Durant potential not saying he was there at all. But it is it is interesting to with Gordon Hayward. Whereas, you know, they'll have coaches tell me or former coaches even tell me that Utah. They ran a lot of stuff specifically for him. And here they're not running stuff. It's just part of an offense, and he can get his, you know, with timely cuts and movement and everything else. And and maybe he sort of fell in love with the idea of playing for Brad again and on a loaded team. And really this wasn't the best team for him. I mean, remember he's supposed to be their second best player. And if you're looking at this team, you're probably talking about fifth or sixth at best. So it becomes a good problem to have. But still a problem because you you sign him to the contract to make him and expect the second best production on your team kyri. Ben. Gordon hayward? Then here comes the problem. Oh my gosh. Jason Tatum is better. And he's better sooner than we expected. And then how do you run a three man offensive system that really isn't designed to reward as you said like Hayward in Utah anyone in particular man as Jason Brown? You're gonna be able to flourish and become the place you want to be. And so here's what I'm saying. Is if they get a good offer. I bet that'd be willing to trade Gordon Hayward before the trade deadline Hayward and not Brown. Rosiere? See I think it's someone in the Brown Razir market. Plus, maybe one of those picks that gets moved for. Well, it depends on what you want back. They're going to need a big they're going to need some size of front. If you look at Al Horford, he's going to be a problem for them. And I love out. Don't get me wrong. Like, he's the gator. He's Dominican he's practically family, but I think is thirty two years old, and he's already dealing with an achey knee this year. That's missed missed seven games to rest them up. And he's not never was the most athletic player. And so while that's. Not really his strength. I'm not saying he's, you know, a dominant athletic guy. Now, he's going to fall off. But in the playoffs. He's going to be a little bit less mobile. A little bit less active little bit less capable of covering a guy like Joel Embiid. And I mean, who you left the up front with Aaron Baynes, Marcus Morris, and those guys are are nice. But I think they need something more legitimate upfront because they've got the wings, and they've got too many of them these conference. I mean, if it's not Embiid, it's Jaanus if it's not Jaanus. I mean, there are guys who can stretch you on the defensive end. So Al Horford is the lightning rod like you ask about about Tatum, and sort of what maybe Boston Celtics fans frustration about him to me. It's Horford average L. They call them up there. Well, some people do. Yeah. I can think of a couple folks with microphones in front of them who do and and it's hard to argue with what you see in the box score. But then he'll Horford will have a night where he knocks down five threes. And you're like, okay. I mean the other night against Billy Christmas night. It was one of those games where Joel is going crazy. Right. And then down the stretch when Philly was. Looking just Radic and not really knowing what they were doing and couldn't successfully get the ball into Embiid. And then afterward you see all the stats and say, oh when Orford game back, the gay male did this and this and this, and that was pretty much just the Sixers not having their stuff together and not really knowing how to get the ball into Joel because he had position a couple of times. So again, it's not a knock at all..

"It's a young team. So getting them back to the level. They were late last year when they were hurt and these young guys were allowed to play, you know, thirty five minutes get twenty plus shots, and and really flourish. And now, okay, maybe they're not getting as many they have to reincorporate Gordon Hayward. There's a lot going on with this team. And it's not hasn't ever really started hitting a stride there. But it is interesting with Gordon Hayward, though, because I don't know how much of a conversation he's been up in the northeast, but he doesn't or hasn't looked right all year long. And if you remember with the Paul George injury when he broke his leg in the US national team. And then when he came back essentially took a year really the look like himself again, but within that year because he had so much responsibility on that team is numbers weren't terrible. And he looked pretty decent for by his standards. Even the thing. That's interesting with Gordon is they has to reincorporate himself into this team as much talent around him more than there was before. Obviously with Jason Tatum, flourishing and everything. Else? And but then last night he just drops thirty five out of nowhere after after going over. I think having a shooting night than the game before. And the reason that's interesting to me is two things one like, maybe we've all been a little impatient with Gordon and saying, oh, maybe he doesn't fit in with this team yada, yada. And he is going to get his spring back in his ability back, and he'll be okay. But I also look at that. And I'm like man thirty five that's a pretty good number. Jason Tatum hasn't scored twenty seven points a this year in a game. I can think those season high and like November and. It makes me wonder what the real opinion is of Jason Tatum as we keep going because he seems to be a guy who can average what he's averaging in asleep. But tends to be kind of you know, sleepwalking a little bit these days and not really having that signature explosive game or anything else. And is there any sort of faith being lost up? There. Do you think in Jason? I don't know about Jason Jason specifically, I think what he did what he showed the flashes of potential and the beginnings of some potential realized during last season's playoffs. I think he's sort of bought himself more of a grace period than you know, I think everybody has a grace period with the Celtics faithful, I think Gordon Hayward anything he contributes this season is basically icing, basically, a bonus to realistic Celtics fans because anybody who thought is you said they were he was gonna come in and say, Well, Paul George did it he's going to be fine. It's gonna jump off. No there there is the full competitive season. After the year of being out with injury before you can come back. So to the question about Tatum's specifically, I think he gets the benefit of while. They're always going to be issues with is there enough ball to go around because kyri is back because Gordon is they're they're just too many minutes too. Many shots are too many guys rather in too few minutes into few shots. But aren't you of the opinion though, where if you if you are that good if you are getting compared to Kevin Durant, your rookie season good that you can almost accidentally have a thirty five forty point game, especially when a guy like careers out because Gordon just did it, and he's not even you know, one hundred percent healthy. No. And that's it is Kyrie because kyri needs the ball in his hands so much. Maybe he's not take. He's not taking forty shots and night. But but he needs the ball in his hands and Tatum. I also think needs the ball in his hand. So I I don't know how you fix it. I do think Tatum has the skill set. I think the I think you would agree to hopefully, you said the Kevin Durant. Comparisons win I roll. I mean that was..

They're surrounded by a bunch of Boston. Celtics fans up there in Bristol got a lot of them. Yeah. I live up outside Boston. So I got up where I was the Celtics are, and this is just jumping right in with something that we didn't plan on talking about whatsoever. But the Celtics are kind of intriguing obviously to a lot of people because may. Maybe they're not as good as we thought. They would be obviously, they're dealing with a bunch of injuries right now. But there's been a lot of intrigue about that. And people have been talking about whether it's Brad Stevens. "Let's go around the room mate. No, roy. No, billy. She had an appeal to her like, I know Chris now I'm belly. I'm with rainy on this actually. Whoa. Yes. So twenty five percent, it is this is probably before it was certainly before. Nickelback news, certainly before some forty one before I realized what company I kept with my crush at the time. Is. Yeah, I can see your eyes, man. Like, I can't hear you. But I can see. They fix your delay. You are no longer my man. So anyway that was yeah. That was my news. And I've never doing it like never doing it again to my only time at Times Square. What did you what did you say to her? I shouted. I I asked for her hand in marriage. Really? Yeah. It was real romance. It. Yeah. What she says. She say see you later, don't she turned? I walked right? I walked right into that. She she turned. But there were other people shouting, obviously. Taller better looking people probably more Canadian. And so she didn't she didn't really react to me. But they'll give a little wave. So we'll always have. Yes. I think you guys kind of married and your own heads. Does your wife know? Yes, she makes fun of me for it. She makes because like you should well we moved a couple years ago. And there was an old Rolling Stone from college like of all the things you worry about like your wife finding nemo rolling. Stone magazine Rolling Stone magazine that had Avalon it from like, oh to like this thing should be in a time capsule somewhere, and it pretty much was along with like ju remember like printed Facebook's from college. No, did you. I wonder if the school you write this down another question that we don't answer to just did any other school do that any other school like print out like a freshman? It was like a freshman yearbook. And it was just everybody's headshot. Northwestern did it. I remember two thousand you should have made a website about that. Randy if somebody there were actually have set of twins working on that. And then that idea was about to get stolen allegedly. So Anderson Cooper got drunk legally intoxicated shot in our for. What did you say four hours five hours and that was enough? Yeah. Every hour to midnight. He was drinking tequila, and it was as though he had never had alcohol before like the way it burned in the way, he grimaced, and it looked pretty believable. I dunno. I dunno Chris if you believe it or not, but he sold it to me. Well, you know, there's people that drink but don't do shots. He seems like someone who probably has a cocktail or two every once in a while. But not a shot guy. Like Andy Cohen was doing him like water. So let's go ahead and do that on national television every hour if I'm not a shot taker and I'm still going to keep my job. I think he's probably done his fair shots. I think he's doing four shots and four hours of tequila and doing, you know as much celebrated national holiday live or live anymore. Live television show. I'm pretty sure he knows he can handle for shots. Well, it's definitely live and by eleven PM they were making fun of him. Because he was starting like he was keeping it today. "Hey did back. We were just talking about how much light you are we pivoted? I think we're in a good place. It's going to be so good this year yet ready. Flying. This is going to be an utter disaster. Have you been working with him for twelve years? And I still go home upset with myself. I. Wednesday night. Hate him. These are show with stugatz on ESPN radio. What was the video again? This is horrible radio. But what was the video of Cody was Chris what are you drinking in that video that they were showing an ESPN news coming back? I have no idea. I didn't see it. You're drinking out of like a water Cup. But it didn't look like water because you're grimacing after every sip. I don't want. It insinuate. Anything wasn't wearing. You're killing me Smalls t shirt. That's all I remember ran. He's doing a great job of asking questions that we don't know the answers to which is start writing lists. I have no idea if they have whatever you asked about in Saint Petersburg anymore to avoid being put on my heels. I'm keeping you guys on your toes. That's pretty much what I'm trying to. I'm trying. It's the best offense best events. Good offense thing. It was the one challenge. I was drinking milk. Oh, well, that's not as cool is he how was your New Year's Eve? It was pretty tame is pretty tame a group of about ten went to dinner and we'd made the reservations on New Year's Eve. So, you know, it wasn't a great place. And then we went to some house party and stayed till about one thirty one forty five and then went back home. I found the best New Year's Eve our house parties and not clubs. They can't be. They usually are. They're usually the safer way to go and clubs are usually filled with a bunch. Of people who've never been to the club before were you watching. Let's get political for second rewatching CNN on New Year's, no. And I never do. Is it a is it an Andy Cohen is an Anderson Cooper issue. Like, why are we not watching? I didn't know that any Cohen was part of it, nor do I have any sort of issue with Anderson Cooper. I enjoy his work. Normally, I just never think of him as somebody. That's going to entertain me on a major holiday. I was I was watching CNN. I saw Anderson Cooper doing shots and stuff. I did see a tweet about that. He was doing shut like multiple shots or he just did a shot Neta funny. React, I think they did a shot every hour, and they started at eight I did see that we're ever in in times where it was raining like crazy, and like, Christina Aguilera, and her whatever outfit that was was getting rained. It's always got like a million people out there, and it seems miserable does because it's always either really cold or raining, and you can't like leave the premises. Like, you can't go to the bathroom or anything like that. I think it's kind of like a miserable miserable scenario brand you've been right? I've been I went no one. I went one zero two and I did. The whole paddock thing like we were in Times Square, and we were able to leave we sort of made friends with the police officer. That was oh like watching. Our paddock are sort of like fenced in area. And so we found like a Bank or something that offends area. Like like be VO the Texas Longhorn was in right. That's essentially. Yeah. It's about in there. It's about that size those like metal barricades. Sometimes you see a parades or inaugurations or whatever. And that's what this was. And we were like fenced in is probably like twenty five people. I was only with a group of like five guys and you'll live in my my best life, and I I had a huge. So everybody's snuck in some liquor and some soda to chase it with and and you know, the goal was to finish that by the time. The ball dropped him in you'd have to use the bathroom. But what I remember that New Year's four is Adam LeVine who was performing. And she was I guess like ushered to a waiting vehicle that was in our vicinity. I had a big at a big crush on apple back in the day. So as most people did and. Wait what? Yeah. Most nobody else had a just a purely physical..

"I gotta ask you about that, by the way. Actually, I'll just ask you this right now. What what got you to want to be a stand up comedian to me? I've always thought to myself man, you gotta be really full of yourself. If you think of that funny that you can just gonna go on stage, and grabbing Mike and make a whole room full of people laugh like unless you do it on the regular like you gotta really think highly of yourself that a good way like confidently, I'm not saying like in a negative way. No, no, none of that was back in it. I think what I think it is is I was I was I was under employed is he like I was not bound by any contract. I just finished up a couple years at southwest Florida's news leader, wink, W, I N K in Fort Myers, and I'd always wanted to and then I had an opportunity where like I didn't have a full-time gig. I was freelancing and freelancing. So I'd have to worry about the repercussions. And there was an open mic night at the Tampa improv there in ebor city. And did you say I've always wanted to do that. Or did you say open mic night? There's a prize. Let me think of some funny stuff to say open mic. It was one hundred bucks. And all you had to do is five minutes. And I was like all right. I need the money. I've always wanted to do it. And I did it for like a talent show when I was in elementary school after you'd been employed as a journalist, and and think about that kids if you're trying to decide what what field to go into he needed those hundred dollars were you is. Did you always live in Florida? Have you always lived in Florida since the age of two. Yeah. So like oh six oh seven eight like I feel like the recession hit pretty hard. Yeah. Specifically in Florida, and maybe that was the real estate the flipping and all of that. And you know, but like it hit pretty hard. So they they were gonna condense a sports department at at wink, and I don't even know if they have one anymore. Feels kind of reckless, but I'm gonna go and say, they don't. And as you sort of see the writing on the wall. So like, my my now wife got a good job in Tampa was like our move up there. And so yeah, I needed the money. I. I thought I could make people laugh, I don't know if I thought it'd be a room full of people laugh, but I went to side splitters in north Tampa to practice, and I had to pay to go up because I didn't know any people. We'd just moved. This even seem like a wise economic decision you're paying money to passively win money bring to people or pay ten bucks. So I paid ten bucks. And it went up in my five minutes and got the flashlight from the bartender, and there were like six people they were all working on stuff too. Like it was as advertising, and it was like all right? I'll give shots. The second. Time up went to ebore and bigger crowd more laughs and one hundred bucks for five minutes and got all excited. And I was like all right. This is going to be my career. And what was your bit girlfriend was like, no, it's not. There was a bit about. The family feud and that answers on the family feud and murder weapons was another bit. Like, it was pretty dark pretty dark the first bit. The first bit was a first bit was imitate. Was it was a surprise? It was bit of a stunner sounds like a love story. And then doesn't end like like, it was I can't repeat it..

"You actually actually have to ask for one yet. Plastic things that what it is what it is most a lot of places are doing metal straws now recyclable or reusable what have you? And so apparently, what this person who recorded it picked it up as when they started to argue in the man reached across the counter and grabs the girl the woman, excuse me. Yeah. And she just started swinging back and landed at half dozen at least a clean shots on him. And I mean, there's a couple of things that are, you know, it's obviously it's good video. It's it's entertaining to watch. Because you see this guy who was supposed to trying to be this bully, you know, get his butt kicked. And also, according to the report, he kicked another employ. In the stomach on the way out which I wasn't in restraints by the time he left, but the thing that I'm wondering about this as we see so many of these recordings all over the place. Did this stuff just used to happen? And we didn't know about it because we didn't have because I've never been somewhere where anything has escalated even close to his badly as some of these videos that we've seen lately, I mean Roy's nodding his head over here saying, yes, I'm not sure if you've seen them, or if you're saying that it's only happening now that we have the technology. Oh, no. It's having before. I mean is happening over the course of history is happening, obviously. But now people are seeing more because we have the phone. Well, I mean, I understand people, you know, being a little themselves. I understand, you know, racism happening and everything else, but I'm just talking about at a dang McDonald's. Like, I have not seen anything near that. At a McDonald's anything that comes close to to a serious event. Just sort of deescalate. It's just sort of brought down, you know, quickly. And then, you know. We move on. And if you notice in a video the manager came over in the national took his order despite that what does he take the order does? He look at the receipt. And it's like, how do I get you out of here? Quickly looked at the seat. But yeah, most likely took his ordering data monitor and then promptly kicked the guy in the stomach as he was leaving one part of this. Okay. So it's in Saint Petersburg, Florida. One part is it. I mean, this is New Year's Eve like this is I thought I had a quiet new years eve because I had to work the next morning, but it could have been worse. I could have been at this particular restaurant watching that particular thing go down where he's like like. Is he wounded less? I'm your in any fast food establishment. Where a debate about laws broke out because that's where this started. Never not spending too much time in fast food that was Mike. When's the last time you were in a? Show the body picture. No. I that's a good question. I'm going to think about that during the break, Billy. It hasn't been that long. How? Yeah. How about the person? That's videotaping be a good person and put the phone down and try to break up the fight. Yeah. I mean, it seemed like she was doing pretty well for herself. Well, yeah. Well, okay. So the woman who was filming it, by the way, Brenda beyond duty was just there. She use the restroom New Year's Eve. She's out in about she's going to the pier. You saw the pier at Saint Petersburg out. It was probably up here. There's something. So she's like she walking around. She's getting ready to enjoy your night. And she's like, hey, I gotta go. I have to use the bathroom. Oh, I have to buy a drink. Really? Okay. Fine. Let me by drinking. I to go to the bathroom, and she sees it come on, man. Like if you're going to jump in on a guy who's twice the size of the McDonald's employees getting his business handed to them like one left three good rights. I mean this guy. What's he weren't soccer shorts? And look like a soccer player. He wasn't like he wasn't loving it guys. I'm going. To start writing. I got comedian..

"Now when you go out you cash in what's in your wallet? So I love sometimes in. I love a lot of this show. And one of the reasons I'm terrified to sit in this chair and be disembodied from you guys is I don't know what to sneak attack is coming. I it sometimes it's Photoshop like we've gotten today, whereas in I believe, it's a. Intentional old photo. I mean that photos from sportscenter studio that no longer exists. Like, that's from the old sport. I think it's the college football wrap studio now, but that's I'm a child in that photo. I've had three of the children's since then like have seen still noticed when more under sets change yet. Well, when they changes because they're mad pretty drastic. Right. Actually, you know. I know that is new studio. Wow. That's what I look like if I get sleep. That's it is he do you have do you have children? No, all right. Well, that's like looking into the future. Then because that's. That's actually can't see anything yet. And this is probably terrible for television and for radio because the timing is off. And so I have no idea what you're looking at you know, in a few seconds one of these things I worry filling in is seek attacks. But also like one of these I love is. Hey, we don't know. We're going to talk about next, and it's not always sports. And now, it's it's it's fast food fight. Because ROY goes in the break, and I'm saying like the final minute of the break. He goes, hey, we're going to send you something. We're going to talk about it. It's McDonald's fight just Google it just Gula McDonald's fight, and then we just jump in. And that's what we're doing. It didn't have to be right now I've wanted to be right now. Because I thought it was in Houston. I'm reading on the Houston versus the Florida man, of course, e Saint Petersburg, do you have it in front of you is he? Yeah, I can paraphrase it. No. So basically, it's a man who was arguing with an employee at a McDonald's because there's this new believe a state law that says you can't have straws out in you know, in the public area for them to consume..
