Hamilton: Not the right time to negotiate 'big contract'

"Yeah, look as as you earlier, the other real big story of the day Valerie boss Ashby continuing with Mercedes next year he's on the new contract with the team which says in the press release thoughts for until at least the end of twenty twenty one so. Obviously Simonsen no contract yet he was also saying, now's not the time we leave contract negotiations, but we don't really expect him to be going anywhere, and if he is going to make a change, it's not going to be going to. "The eighty drivers actually actually that's that's the wrong we're looking at it. He stayed so close to the Mercedes drivers because if you look on TV Of Look at the race on paper, he was gone. He was no way. He was comprehensively beat them well, actually. Only get ten seconds behind a basically the end of the rates for the ties blowout I think that's still pretty pretty and breakfast considering how that Mercedes cars and now with with maxine the race it was really interesting being in the media center silverstone because. You didn't have on the Social Media Porto that sap home, which you can see where the cars are in. LINE REPRESENTATION OF THE UP AND The Mercedes up there he's just a chunk back. Then there's a massive Licola for a big little bit of another got to the rest. I'd say he stayed with them and I was impressive and again brilliant in qualifying. He's so in control, he even had even time to Maki's engineer. It seems on the radio. As you said, the team that was kind of. Basically sowing control. It was it was getting quite dull. Is was the Mercedes team and we call them. They've they've perfect car. They've got to great drivers. They've they've they've maximized on everything not maximize again. But they don't have perfect schools do they alex given with? Lewis. Hamilton and nine and while us at eight. They don't have perfect scores and I think this is gonNA. Be this the controversial one particularly we've how Moods Because red flag in qualifying it was a pretty big mistake that could have had some really severe ramifications for the rest of his weekend and he was quite fortunate to get away with it in a way also bought us wasn't that far off him in the race. Kept him really really really honest and ultimately contributes to that about acids tire exploding. He was he was he was one or two seconds behind. He wasn't going for an overtake every lap but he stuck in that position where wherever he does at that point if he bushes these ties harder on a rights that was incredibly tough on ties because they all come in that little bit too early about five nights before Borelli sold them. You know it was it was it was the ultimate point to stop get ready, get ready, your medium soft and go into the hard and or the hard copies get the end of the race. So they always up against it and embossing case if he pushed, he'd recognize that more and he's in the dirt here to e. sliding and that's recognize at the same time and how didn't it didn't edge away quite as quickly does get to a point where he does the because what's us on? That's the reason I mean. I I'm hamstrung quite a bit by the decimal places because this would be a nine point nine. So close to a ten, it's just not perfect from Hamilton especially when we consider how perfect he he he is effectively, I mean, he was lucky in the side walls of those ties didn't explode and shred and spread debris everywhere, which I think is why a lot of people saying? No, have he? Should Have Gone into the pit see ECON, can't finish the race on on three on three tires like that's not legal but I mean, he didn't cause a massive massive issue today. But I mean I see I see most people were complaining about Sergio Perez, the flag in Australia with his wing of because let me not arguments ridiculous frankly. But. Yeah. I I. It's interesting I mean said he was gonNA. Come. Easily. Listened to listen to the radio afterwards he was like Shit. Wow. Does. That one. Sorry well. Because I know we didn't beeps for for the social media. Firm. Does he swears on the radio, tell how he's pushing. But yeah, I just honestly I just might take on it looking at the lap times looking everything they said afterwards I think what has kept in more honest than it looked and that Mercedes will also that little bit nor- incomplete control than they looked at the power lines were slightly turned down to Tony said, you know we can't keep them in the spicy power my does he put it for the whole race but. Still. Ultimately, Oh and all kinds of the and you can go to the end and it all went so very very, very wrong. Boss I eight because he just couldn't get ahead of how much and he really tried on i. think he really pushed him but. Swinging qualifying that really did for and didn't get position when he like he was. On for it also doesn't get to the end in display. Yeah. The incredible pace of the Mercedes car. Yes. Yeah. "Com and there's a little widget underneath each of the drivers that you can re school. The drivers that you don't agree with Alex on. They guy had told product next. We've got the drive of the people are now calling last lap Landau. Because what does that law lap pace come from? How does he keep managing to do it and why? You're giving him a nine ten? There's a very very clear and very good and very strict reason why he cannot perfect school, which is because he ignored yellow flags, nephew one and don't say that's pretty damning. For safety reasons, you don't know what's happening with the modules and the cars stopped on track, so you cannot do that as a whole weekend score or is, he's waited significantly more towards qualifying in the race, but that's just a sloppy era from Landau, which which he shouldn't have made pick coming on the bath of it's great podium finish and yet brilliant from Landau in the race, and the key here was managing soft is all the way up until lap thirty nine when he could solve unleashes pace lights, only the race compared to his rivals, as I, said let by brilliantly by science went on another charge again Princeton some great moves as he comes across Perez who? Who is so slow? Young has a split second to jink by. It doesn't ask if place and from gets nine again. Somebody who can't seem to get a break. Is Mr Alex Album. You've given a six out of ten I. Think would be inclined to agree purely just based on the fact that he just could not keep up at all, could he? He was sorry far off the pace. Is that the main reason for a six ten is the master Hamas so far had to make another pitstop strong for fastest lap at the end, which is really damning. Alex I want I deeply. Sorry for him, I think he's been ease brilliant, easy eastern very very well in. Season and a bit in Formula One and could have won the race last week. Obviously the circumstances aided in with that, but the EV look voice definition. He cannot score higher than a six, because this was not a good race performance. If you take their lap times from the safety car restart to win respect and pets. Ship a second a lap. That's really alarming frankly. Dismissed in the press conference when I asked him after the race is that it wasn't like Hungary. Two Thousand, nine hundred and Web Ashley not being in the lead fight cost in the win against MSAT's sad's Ann Lewis Hamilton, but it did look very similar without having a second car in play, rebel were completely outfox. There was nothing naked. Do by that point, but as always gonNA get by because Mercedes had a place at vantage, and they have the strategy advantage now reputable. They become him anyway way. Our wants absence that costs homes his team, and then there's qualifying where he gets beaten by where he gets beaten by signs. And he said you know. He writes a bit late and hit a river well, my. Voice I. Don't I, don't want to be t much, but in a red bull econ be that far hundred teammate Josh mccown for pay three. You've given him a nine out of ten I think it was. It was a typical maximum performance, wasn't it? It was just he got absolutely everything he could have. had a brilliant will to whale moment with. I mean the fact that he doesn't give up and he just comes back even though he's on. The backer is just typical Max Stockton, and I think is just makes sense such an exciting driver to watch, but ultimately did have to yield came MP3 bit of a disappointment I think for himself and the team, but to be honest I'm not sure he could have done much more so. Is that the reason? Why doesn't get full points? The reason why doesn't get full points the key three spin because that is an error. Okay, yeah, how much was untouchable hard in the where? Some comments on twitter saying that he was because of a story, I write that he was blaming that'll giving him understatement benefited, wasn't he? Just explained it, but he contribute to the off. An incidental site that and but yeah, yeah, there was an era and it could it could potentially cost him like you can't afford. Those slips me diagnose. What's GonNa Happen? How much there was another level in qualifying, but yeah, I mean he. He really did all he could apart from nine qualified second as come onto out to reporters behind him. A rebel binds once once there was not alborn, and and is under specific knowledged are actually really. Maybe no strategy was going to get red bull to beat Mercedes. Not Right I think. I would imagine a lot of people are homework, okay with a nine from Marxist, often but so the Guy That beat him to pee to. Valerie bought us out ten on in comparison to his teammate, just showed the difference in caliber really when it comes to wet weather driving, which for me is a massive indicator of a great driver and I think. In qualifying. We've really got to see a lot of the drivers. Come to life, but what has just wasn't one of them, but. Did. Make up for it in the race and got a to is basically the minimum that his team would have expected him to do so. Is that why he doesn't maybe get a nine? That's evacuate Jess. I mean he's interesting. The claims break things minor mystery surrounding it because title was asked about. They say it was like well if that was the problem, why do you not change it? You're allowed to under the rules ahead of the race until two point. Wet weather issues say so. It would have gone away in the race, but yeah, just still question because the woman's ID's didn't actually change that part and yet, but the the reason why he down on. How much does include? Boss himself said after the race despite bright problem are still wanted to performed. He was very honest up. I really appreciate that I. Think we should drive..

"You hadn't mclemore of ended up with eighth and ninth as opposed to fifty nine per, se get call us for Dana and good on McLaren fitness being like. Yeah. Just goes to show you that. If you follow team oldest, you can sometimes get a better result people high in radio team orders, but I guess it's part of the strategy. Play you. WanNa. Bring harm as many points as you can, and if you're driving the wrong older in that scuppering chances, then you're going to get them out wanting to get out the way which leads us onto your Ricardo. He was pretty desperate to get. His team may out of the way for a lot of that first stint. Given him a seven out of ten, which I probably would agree with it. Was it was it was a weird one with Ricardo because the battle just just ruined strategy. There was just sort of thing. Wh what we're what we're thinking. The order should've come there and again to reference. Fernando Alonzo again. He's GonNa. He's GonNa Scream in this time next year if the same thing. Thing happens. It would be interesting to see what he could done. Have the strategy plow, but the reason why he has to get seven was because as back instant to be qualified behind ghastly, a much slower car, and he was hitting one which I know you know these things do happen in scrap star, but yeah, it was a non contact. Sport should really in. Okay now we've got the curious incident of the rising points, which obviously at the moment was still waiting to hear whether they will even be allowed to keep their points in positions from this 'cause there is now a full F. I. Investigation as to whether they're break does a carbon copy of last year's which is is not allowed. That's currently under investigation, but. Why is going on with those racing points between the two of them I? Think I agree in the ordeal. You've put them so stroh. You've given us six subject. Peres, you're going to seven, actually know that drag race the finish and still holding on even though he was limping to the line was just FAB-. How can you give him a seven? Yeah, I totally agree was a brilliant drive from Sergio Perez I mean. It was just all undone with the instant in, Albion. He says it was his one, but you need to get by, but you have more laps to do it. And the car was so fast. He was so much quicker than Alborn, and actually when I went into the numbers for my aunt. Dot Com and autosport magazine. Race report he was foster, the voluntary Batas over the second stint, and they stopped at a similar time, so he was really really really on it. The reason why he gets seven qualify seventeen on the grades, and then in car and cost himself of position. Actually tell you positions because he should have finished. And it had the pace, it seems to be an for the podium so Perez. said it in my in my, in my explanation for voters, Dot Com and for the magazine. He. He was looking like he was going to get an eye and he was overturning. It's response is Great. And then he ruined the oh I was really looking forward to talking about the rating point drivers because the car is so good. We finally seen it. You look good in practice Guam free that even better on Friday and then they both. They both messed up in the way. Fair enough. I think you're GONNA have a lot of angry people comments right now because of that rating. We want to know what you think. Keep on commenting if you don't agree with Alex is ranking. "Hear. Why gave the rankings I did to the field in last weekend's race at the rebel Rindt so please enjoy this episode, which is presented by networks director of Digital, Strategy Jess McFadden Okay Sir Alex? ALEX WE'RE GONNA kick start with the team that really needed a good news story on. It just did not come, and that of course is Ferrari who had pretty much the worst race that they have possibly imagined going into the second round in Australia qualifying was bad for exiting in Q. Two, and then getting a penalty, and then he committed the cardinal sin in the race. He takes team out as we'll come onto the lowest score than they did last week, because at least when fat was spun and hit another car, it was from another team, but yet disaster for Ferrari. It's. It's going to be really hard season and a suspected really hard next season as well. That's all it's been given. A five and the clerk has been given a three, which is the lowest rating so far see? We've only had two races, but still the lowest rating so far so velka higher rating because he's blameless in the collision and he qualified head so ultimately. Yeah, he's he's ahead on C. counts. It did have a bad starts. That's why he school to get any high, and he was pretty lacklustre in key free. Qualifying temp beaten by by RENOS and Alfred Story. The mclarens he should have been in a fight. We've really when you think about the pace the car, so yeah, so that's why I've always on five and the Clare has to be a three. He can't score higher than that would last week. Because the collision was catastrophic, taking out his teammate, it was a rash move. I don't really know what he was thinking. Yeah, he held his hand up and he apologized immediately, and that's Great I. Really do commend him for that, and from what I know from when I covered him in enough to. That's exactly the kind of guy that years, but yeah, it's just such a bad. Bad era such. They're always going to happen. He was going into the gap. There's always gonNA. Close takes out teammate and actually damages Kevin Magnussen scar on the outside as well. Okay, so the driver next up the great, who also didn't finish the race, and it was quite unfortunate one because he had a really really good qualifying really much stronger than he was last week because last week for me, he was a driver that just didn't really do much didn't really set me ally or think that he was had a particularly good performance based qualifying was was brilliant. He did really really well in the wet, but then obviously. By cooling issue, and he had to retire, and he also had his teammate telling them together way, which is always really quite amusing, but so you've given him an Tan chiefly from from the qualified forms. Because it was just so good, he'd be red bow in arena has really rented. Really has no business being on the great at the moment. Sorry Fernando if you're if you're watching which I hope you are. Are. Okay. Yeah, he was, he did look slow in the race I don't know where the calling problem was affecting his pace oversee that D-. Do for Ricardo a week ago, but yet I mean it was problematic, I think had he had the race going on? He might well have ended up with a lower school because he held up. Is teammate economic like he eats screw over his teammates conscious strategy it. It was a good performance and he he out performed the car, and that's got a high score was just unfortunate. We couldn't see what he could have done with it. In the end, it's an exit. The to Williams know I. Feel a bit. Sorry, Latifi 'cause he is paired with somebody that everybody is talking about as the next Mercedes driver and he did obviously his Saturday Russell's today was really really strong. Strong getting into key to it was amazing that Williams were actually quite upset. They didn't make insecure three. which I mean that's. That's such a good news story for Williams. After last year you've given George Russell and eight and Nicosia seven, which is quite strong, so I wanted to ask why you've given the TV such a strong school, bright weekend for Williams, because of Russia's qualifying resolve. Latifi school is strong because. I do feel sorry for him having to go up against George Russell because he's very highly rated, he's on the Mercedes books, and by all accounts is quite an intense teammates. Have I think in the formulas especially. In GP three and after I think he was I think he demanded a lot of the team, and maybe that rubs off on his teammates as well, and you can see that in the draft survive documents your Netflix's when when he's in Zebra. If he's really, you know, he's really He's honest and he's that way. The other reason why Latifi particularly this weekend, and why highly because he's getting qualifying, he was unlucky I. Think with with the red flag caused by Jeevan. Alfa Romeo so we didn't get the chance to do a final. He hadn't quite improved on what would have been pronouncement. At least they'll had one more attempt to get in there and banks came out, but we showing strongly qualified Jeevan, the he crashed, which will get later affects his own school, and that's the reason why Latifi. East highly. Didn't really do a lot wrong in race. He finished pretty much where we would expect him to finish. In the reason why you know, he's definitely scored lower. The muscle is because. The track and came back past him now coming onto Russell so good in qualifying written again he was, he was on track to earn a really high school had the race. panned out as we expect from him, but it was a poor era, and he he again. He owned a hands up, but yeah he just. Snap were overstayers. He came around the outside. Magnusson escaping into the gravel, so yeah, but nevertheless. That Williams, which again finished about where it should done, that's why he deserves the night I. Think I probably agree with you right? We bought the first of the factories now. And.

Australia GP Cancelled - Heres 5 Times Other Races Were Halted

"One's twenty twenty Australian germ-free was efficiently tussled after McLaren member tested positive for corona virus. This Wednesday twenty Chinese free was already postponed after the strain of novel. Corona virus was believed to have originated in the country. Bahrain status is currently unknown. While the spread increases globally further races may be cancelled but these were not the first counseled races in Formula One. So let's take a look back at a few cancellations from Formula One's past and dig into the reason why each race dropped off the calendar after it got there. In the first place the most recent example a race cancellation the twenty eleven bar. Ingram pre was scheduled to be that year season opener but on the fourteenth of February. Twenty eleven a number of uprisings took place across the Middle East and North Africa known as the Arab spring as numerous citizens protested against oppressive regimes and the poor quality of life with us in mind embar rain. One such country experiencing civil unrest. The race was postponed until the end of the season. The plan was to reinstate the Bar Ingram pray to the thirtieth of October and in the process move the Indian grocery to December slot but unhappy with the logistics involved on the seeming disregard for Human Rights Implications the Formula One teams association photo vetoed the plan barring GP officials then subsequently dropped any plans to host the race that year instead wasting for its reinstatement in twenty twelve. The twenty twenty Chinese impre- is not the first race in China to be cancelled. The nation was penciled in Fritz inaugural F one race. Back in one thousand nine hundred nine back then then F ONE SUPREMO. Bernie ecclestone announced in nineteen ninety eight. The Joe Hi International Circuit was to host a Grand Prix on the twenty first of March. Which would make it the second round of the nineteen ninety nine calendar just months after its announcement. F. One announced that the Chinese Grand Prix would no longer go ahead as the FAA had been insufficiently impressed by the facilities at the second which needed work. If it was to appear on the following year's calendar however this never happened in. China had to wait until the two thousand four season to get its first Grand Prix. How'd Shanghai? Well they feel like the Joe Hi circuit describing similar to the Spielberg sects in Austria. We never got the chance to see it in f one action another race supposed to be on the nineteen ninety. Nine calendar was the Argentine Grand Prix but unlike China it had been a mainstay on the F. One shut you off the Argentine greats depression which began in late. Ninety eight the organizers of the race with feeling the pinch and were unable to much the funding that China promise to host a race but as we've previously mentioned the Joe Hi race was cancelled. The Argentine Grand Prix was reinstates the calendar with Provisional March Twenty Eighth Slot pending talks with parameters Formula One. But by the end of January the Argentine Grand Prix was also knocked off the calendar after formula. One was unable to come to an agreement the race at the Buenos Aires Sec. It was deemed not financially viable as several upgrades were requested but no ultimately produced the nineteen ninety eight Argentine Grand Prix. Then was the lost f one race out in Argentina and will they efforts were made to organize a street racing motto. Plateau off at the twenty thirteen season. It never came to fruition. Asterio at nineteen ninety-seven having been on the calendar for over a decade. Esther was one of the more scruffy venues on the floor. Shedu and the EPA had been battering the circus owners for years to make some upgrades but when the FAA formally requested a few safety changes ESTA ZONA scoffed after they've been on the calendar for years without having to make renovations why start now but in response. F. One cude is often pulled esther off the calendar replacing it with the Herath circuit in Spain. The caveat was if astro could make the safety changes required the FAA offered a loss on the calendar on the ninth of November. But the fixes weren't made in time while Ferrari and McLaren would believe to vetoed an eighteen race calendar. How things change as it stood. Herath hosted the season finale. And we know how that turned out South Africa. Nineteen eighty one. Despite the backdrop of apartheid South Africa was due to host the season opener of nineteen eighty one formula one season however the year began under the cloud of political wrangling between Governing Body Fisa led by Yomiuri Ballast and the Construction Association. Fokker led by Bernie Acoustic Visa. Wanted to change the date of the season opening race. Kyle Lami to April the eleventh two months after the original February seventh day. That had been previously agreed. Foam consisting largely of the British teams on the grid also had an agreement with Kyle Lamis Management for the February date leaving the two governing bodies in a little bit of a pickle. The race wasn't council per se but it was run as a formula libra rice rather than a formula one race meaning that it didn't have to adhere to the one thousand nine hundred regulations. We should heavily restricted ground effect dynamics so the focus teams ran it. Kyle Army with all the bells and whistles in a non championship race won by Williams driver Carlos Roitman but the race was ultimately stricken from the F. One record beforehand but with the threats of Krona virus rapidly spreading worldwide. More races may be cancelled their season. We'll have to find out if that's truly the case

Haas First To Reveal 2020 Car

"What did you make it passes new creation. Well first of all I just want to say I'm really happy seasons back with us With this mass hoster sorry hysteria. This time yeah. And we've got new cars finally talk about so I think the main thing to take away is apart from it's rather lovely. livery is very similar. The Ferrari from last year isn't it. That's a good thing for have come any worse than last year. Let's be honest. The car was incredibly problematic. Arctic last year and there was this huge problem with guessing the ties within a window. The you know they could work and worked for a sustained period of time so in qualifying there would be absolutely fine fine In low conditions like temperature conditions. That would be absolutely fine but when it was twenty five thirty degree race get five laps and they were falling through the failed. So this is A bit of a new concept for them And hopefully it will work a little bit better now if you had to figure data on how much of this Nico Nico is. The Old Ferrario. Looks like the old Ferrari. Whatever you think Well let's go through each individual so the front wing for example is incredibly for our ask now. They trout something like this in Brazil practice last year number other races as well to try to determine come in by the problems lay in their car last year it seemed to be with the front wing. So they've come. This far design tested it in practice. And they've kind of stuck with it. The House one in doing things as well at least looking for are we doing. Yeah so a couple of others so for example Williams or something a little bit similar which actually raced In Brazil rebel brought something similar as well so that seems to be almost a theme I don't know if we'll see The coming days whether that is actually a recurring theme that we'll see but how certainly kicked off There's a number of other Ferrari hallmarks as well for example so the engine cover that we can see that if you look at it straight. They told me that was very specific to the Ferrari last year This little cut the engine cover and all that sort of something had lost year. But they've kept. I thought they've managed to shrink it down a little bit. Ferrari deadlocked yet The plate designed as well in particular very similar to Ferrari say this theme head the Little Bits and say this is very similar Ferrari. They've changed the nose design as well. So there's like Singapore Ferrari star designs. Say again this homos going on here and it's definitely more Ferrari. This seems to be one very specific taking. Why is the Triangle Abbott? So unique the Ferrario white wife. Ravi Jane Okay. So what a number of teams have started with try and take out some of the radiates from within the side poets and bring them above the errands hake towards the engine power unit components and that seems to be trying to reduce the overall draft disciples. Jason Shrink them in a little bit further and you see a lot of teams doing that and up here. It's often be fear in this area. You like but far as decided to stick with more conventional if you keep the radiators in here so you can kind of see the bulge hair with radiators of slumped down wits and so this triangle shape possible Usually have an here and here and like kind of although it's keeping so center of gravity down as well as streamlining the flow to the rare or if the car but obviously the other design wouldn't be you know wouldn't be good if if everybody's using it so it's kind of like a split kind of design hair and oversee this kind of design west. Ferrari I guess now from what we've seen so far because they're seeming the house will be bringing so maybe extra parts of things. Things are visible on these pictures to testing for the star of the season to being. It's GonNa kill the problems that plagued the team Austria. I mean looking at a picture. It's kind of hard to you. See it can't be any worse than lost yet not only in terms of performance but for long term operations for the team as well because if they can pick it up turn the car around take the bad taste of twenty nineteen out of their mouths of create something. That's a little bit more like the House. We used to saying. Then it should absolutely fine but if they can't turn around that's when gene has says okay is survival. LONG-TERM OPTION CAMERA KEEP investing into a team. That's not performing and so I think a lot hinges on this. I think it has to be better if everyone is gonNA keep. Their jobs has to be better very good. Now just put you on the spot again. JBL D think we've seen any cues or clues what we see. What about the Ferrari because either rules are stay with? This should be no changes. We can be about evolution. Not Revolution Russian. Any clues from what has released stories. You just catching that team up to where the team is so closely linked to was. I think usually we've always looked at the house and gone is. Is this going back many hormones to Ferrari but there were few parts of last year's car similar to the car before rather than providing a clue into what the you know that protects our team is going to produce Pops I think the rare is miss telling example A couple of tests for I did last. Austria was with the exhaust pipe. Waste Gate Position and they've gone for waste gave of the exhaust and that's presumably what they're gonNA run trout season so they presumed scrapped scrapped. The waste gate design. They tested last year. But I think the rest of the body work again houses just sort of following in the footsteps of Ferrari audit will ever be on level hugging but I think the just trying to keep up it worked for Ferrari last year. So they'll do the same this year. obviously twenty twenty one. That's going to be very very different date but I think for this year at least will provide some degree of free performance

Live Rally GB preview featuring Elfyn Evans

"Let's jump straight in to rally. Gb I saw oh you on the on the record today at lunchtime and tell us about stages. How are they looking on the whole really really good to be honest. especially the Saturday stages are in exceptional conditions to be honest year-on-year. I think like it's the best route like dovey. especially is very very fast. Sunday stages while looking looking pretty good the first thing I think could be a little bit tricky. you know that first stage and Elsie is new everyone very technical and Nado stage so a bit of a different day for at least the start of a Friday. It's kind of Nice though isn't it very well. Elsie is a tricky. It's kind of a Parkland stage lots of much more technical twisty but then pay mcnew opens out and then you've got governor. Which is I mean? That's a classic isn't it doesn't yeah definitely is obviously slee a bit of a longer variation this again then what we had last year again really yep and then what can we what can we expect. We we saw you win two years ago an amazing victory. You know really emotional win at home. What's possible. Do you think from from you this time coming off the back of your last time you sat in the car competed Estonia in June July. Remember which what are you reckon. Let's here we go. We're doing everything we can to to do as well as we can. There's no set should have trying to bet ourselves in or anything like that way just trying to go for it and and see what happens obviously really nice to win again but obviously we know that you the competition is wholesome and everything has gone away but ultimately you have to aim for for that first place and it's upset with voting and it's kind of difficult than it because you're jumping back into the the middle of a massive championship fight. There's three guys at the front that are absolutely hammering tongs and two three weeks ago. They were doing in Turkey. Does that does that. Make could easy to jump back in or do you just forget that and just get on with what you're doing. I think we have to consider what we're doing. I detest ended last week and the feeling was pretty good uh-huh. Oh I think so long as we can find out with him and things early on then. There's no reason why we we can't fight yeah just one last question for me before vocal. Alvin has to go to satellites up. Who's firstly who's going to win the championship. I'm not going to bet against all right at the MOLINS. He's obviously very strong wrong all year but then step has this massive habit of making a comeback doesn't like it's. It's a difficult one to call. Obviously tell us right as well off any money. I probably have to put it on yeah okay now. We've got some questions from you. The readers watches viewers. Whatever Neil Perry has asked. What are the chances of a podium from your starting position? That's a pretty relevant question. Isn't your obviously a bit further down ninth on the road. Yeah I mean it depends on the conditions basically it it could work very much against as we've seen some years here whether the timesheets tumble by three or four seconds of every car that passes this. Is You know if that's the case then he's obviously going to be difficult but then last year we would also sat second overall starting at the back of the field after the first loop so you know we can't. Sir Assume that because we back that we're not going to be in with a shelter. We have to do the best job we can Let's see what happens at the end yeah okay with a nice stage and have ahead and have you been able to practice driving the dog. Yes money's not a huge amount but some training on the test the marshals were kind enough to to stay onto to let me do some driving so so yeah that was all good and hopefully we can get these set low. These lights set up correctly now than It should be okay but not there's a fascination during the duck yeah. It is a great one well you you mentioned you go off and set your lights up. Actually you're not going to do it right now because hopefully not not going to the call our but you've got a lot of stuff to crack on with Alvin. Thank you very much wish you all

"Hi, I'm Bishen horrible season lost year. What you expect from those teams this year, which one do you think will have the biggest spring up the older? Missile hard to say because both of them at least recognized that they had problems potty low talks about the funding. The bottom of the trench and ready for both of them. It was humiliating wasn't say. So have a car basically have fundamental problems baked in to the extent that there is nothing that I can actually app to those cars actually unleash more performance because they were inherently limited. So you would kind of think that because McLaren in theory, half better facilities, maybe more staff than Williams that they would be better place to make late. But at the same time they've got to go over to collide until that research in the Toyota wind tunnel, isn't that must have some sort of impact on the way, they manage that research program. Whereas potty lower is now put the says inside the design office, they can all work together, and hopefully create a more I hate to use the word holistic because it's the sorts of management can. Some word, but kind of a more a more complete design. It can we can we come up with a better idea of. Cohered coherent. Yeah. I'm okay. Lebron designed where all the voices come together to create a package that works as warm rather than just sort of cherry picking the best bits from other cows as if it's like the math around from countdown. I mean, it's difficult because both of them that make errors two years ago since Fernando Alonzo was saying the McCollum was the best car in the pit Lynn an my articles. I was saying, well, that's okay. Because you know, there's still in the street running dined force in the car. So we'll be good around the corners foam. No wonder any any racing formula is a compromise as your corner. Speeding. Your street lens Pete. I mean, you could you could recent Monaco with the wings from momzette, and you can recent momzette with the wings for Monaco. But it would be a difference. Go slower in the street and one of them and you go quicker in the street and the other one, but you could still Rhys. So it doesn't really matter. But who will pack is not as a sat regulations you going different tracks. He sat the car up in the best way possible at MacLaren's had their car up in the best way postal for the track. The car may have been a bit more of a harmful through the coroner's. But in my also been three or four five kilometers quicker on the street. So they've got to recover from that philosophy at McLaren. And they're making the right stamps, I suppose, but neither of those teams showed me during the season that they had the step availability, nor car that moved them a bet announced very important because if you go into the winter still was question marks over your over your yourself us to the decisions you're making with a new car just from the fight. You think you've sorted? And but you haven't done it. It's not plays debate confidences that make thing and design as well as driving you need to come from where you're going to is what you should be doing the I think the the key thing for me with McLaren last year was the why introduced that sorts of credit card swiping slot on each side of the news. Disappeared. Yeah. And then took off at the end of the year. So the five or six months with this thing, and then took it off at the end, which suggests I've never designed to rice call before. But that that that smacks to me if kind of that thing wasn't working, and it took them that long to realise overloaded at the credit card. Well, I knew everything changes take out slow just because typically example what happens with these cars, you can see this our nose in the Nahra knows and the underneath the car is quite low pressure area.

"Circuit on a hundred and five kilograms of Fuel Development under fifty horsepower. It's not not many years ago that you were using one hundred sixty kilograms of fuel develop them seven hundred horse bar for a impre. So the the technology the curve has been fantastic through the years energy is about as about not wasting it. And that's what they the energy recovery systems, all the byte just threw it away. And so I think I'm gonna wanna sat very good. Some example of what you can achieve the reliability of these things for such a complicated packages up so. Fantastic. And I think that will keep no keep gaining momentum. Now, the cost of is huge. Besides what you could put in a road car. But the philosophy is still the same riccar oversee the weightless stuff doesn't matter quite so much. So I think it's doing a good job as far as developing philosophy for road cars, but as far as developing the actual part component or that you're using a grown pray. It's not for road cars. But I think we'll still see gins decent gains over this over the year two thousand nineteen power wise. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw twenty or Spar difference from the start of the season to the end of the season. And that you know, that's a lot whatever you're up at that level. That's a lot looking outside. The big teams who do we expect to make big improvement this year put you on the spot, Gary which team if you had to pick one of values outside it's three will not necessarily join them, but make big stride. And might people say, well, that's that's impressive. Well, Renton themselves were saying that they have made this is the best winter ever odd both on the power unit on the chassis. So, but we we don't know that I think the team that I would look at and say that I'm not talking about McLaren or Williams recovering from about position. I'm telling comp- teams at work pretty competitive moving forward. I think I'm not quite sure it was going to be cold. But four sendak come racing point, Harare, leeann currently rising point, but I may change again, I think that they could make the biggest step because they've been hampered by budget for quite a few years, and they've always had the Plum, but they've never been able to execute it because budget constraints have stepped in and they're very very good going risking their risk team. You know, they're still come from the hopefully, they'll days where they stick your finger at the back of the old prop perch with engineers set on the on the pet will stick your finger. You see if it's raining or if the winds blew in Worcester action, they don't phone home from two thousand miles away today. Get up and look out it themselves. Another very very good at racing, and I've got all confidence and under green these team of the guys I work with when I was there. And I believe they can get that consistency of budget. They don't need the biggest budget in the world because they do work very well with money, but they didn't consistency ability Plum in the past few years, you know, the last couple of years last two years before that they finished fourth in the championship. And that was a that was a sort of difficult plan for them because they had developments that they couldn't put in the car. Neither shouldn't happen. So hopefully, I say they'd be the team that might close the gap to the big three a little bit better. I don't think what goes away. But does it got to the big three now student can you stare into your crystal bowl, Williams, and Williams and Clarin. Yes. I'll strangers to talk about those teams in trouble. So I was in trouble. Getting was I used to tell you teams. Lots of fans..

"Because you can only deploy as one hundred sixty horse par for thirty seconds of a lot. So you have you have to choose where you're going to deploy that par and how you can. Recoup as well. So it's more than just having pure horsepower. And using it and having a better engine. Also, the cooling of all that stuff the packaging of all that stuff makes it different. So it's very easy. Whenever Reynaud where supply and red Bill with the normally, aspirated engines and red bull won four championships. They still didn't have the best engine in the penalty in the while. They had was the package was very driveable an Anita less cooling. So they had better aerodynamics on the car because any any air flew use to cool. The car is no good at making done for us. So it's not just about that number of horsepower. So it all depends on home this packaging whenever we spoke with GM's key at the two thousand eighteen preseason tests. Gm's K was technical director tour also in a a good friend of mine used to be a Jordan. He. He was very complimentary of home. He's very come memory of them because you know, up to them they had been forced into this corner by McLaren's won't for packaging, so home the couldn't release themselves to build engine and the couldn't packages that they needed. So their homes were tied before the started on the first further first time, you know, Toro, Rosso they were able to say, we would like to pack is this like this on Torah Russia, rebel say. Well, that's a good idea. No problem. It's yeah. Let's do that. So get home too. I think home the last year was honed his first year of being free of the shackles of somebody telling them what to do and if read Bill chosen them for next year. I have to say it must mean that the engines pretty good because they had direct information through Toro Rosso us to the performance of. So hopefully, they will be knocking on the door of of the Mercedes and Ferrari, I don't think it'd be better because Mercedes and Ferrari are booth for a very strong. But rumors are how you're hearing is at Mercedes aren't getting as much out other two thousand. One thousand nine packages as they'd hoped for. So maybe if they lose a little bit and home again. You never know. Econo- depends how much freedom. There is all those little bits of all those other developments Aryan how much room there is left for development. How how much more can they develop the internal combustion engines get more power from it? How can they develop the various electrical bits to either make more to recover them? Power. More efficiently will things. We don't really know how much headroom there is. So it's a difficult questions. Wente? It is again going back in time a little bit. We were we were using the moment Formula one regulations is one hundred and one hundred and five kilograms of fuel last year. And probably if you look at your average horse power from the engine, I'm from the electrical system would be someone eight hundred and fifty horsepower for the given Lau so you.

"Yes. You can do one after the other are spice, but the police will be summoned. I've I've done it before. Nice. I call on the it seem principally the same principle you'd find knee deep in oil and the guy rates probably eleven o'clock at night on the game box. cO something up. The interesting thing is that lady Ferrari of identified a problem with the leadership of military, Ben. So do we think back could improve the seems hit right because that would seem any mistakes last year in battle. But there was some team decisions that went a little bit of ROY. You could argue that the Ferrari was good enough at the very very least to say the sit down. The war if not winning. So we'll see that Ferrari hoping that the change of regime will ensure the that the technical strength remains. But there's a there is that great calmness. So the points on throwing away and maybe battle in a more calm atmosphere. We know these emotional driver if you can do that you can get the best out of veteran you maximize your points. Your on Cleveland the championship. Yeah. Say from what I see I think has just been diluted a bit. You know, easily throw away a couple of tenths of a second in the car. And then suddenly you're scratching to to to get out there to be competitive and making all the right decision. And it we've seen time and time again like Williams, for example, you know, the, they're one of the faucets. And the pit stoves. They execute the risks very very well, but they finish fourteenth and fifteen hundred fifteen or something. So you need to have the car first of all before you can go and challenge to win. And then you have to make sure that you don't get too excited with what's going on a Sunday afternoon and these com- everybody done, but but taking your best technical acid. Moving a mental position that that means he's the the ultimate guy. Top of the ladder to me. I think that's wrong. Does does the removal of the plane culture con of help people to operate better though. Because you you sort of removed that seat if Dow in the back of the mall of your mind, if you make a mistake, then you're gonna get the the having saliva thunderbolt will descend on the gingy get fired pass what's going to happen to you. If you'll put cost performance doesn't remind in this standard. So. Yeah. One of these days is going to happen, isn't it? But some you know, if permanently worried about being fine, if the tiniest thing goes wrong that Spicer proportion of your possible. Attention span actually just being wasted on something. That's a pointless worry, and you don't actually focusing one hundred percent on what you need to be doing whether that's changing Awale or thinking about what? Ty compound to put on any given time. I think you just have to have the right person in the right job. I don't think you can have a blame culture, but somebody responsible so. Yeah. Have to identify who's responsible for that. And then as I say, if it's happened to many times, you have to strengthen it or you look is there a better person the right person. I think it's the same in any job ready to be honest. The an also any any sorts of machine in a team as a machine is is only as strong as the week is possible bit. So if sort of continued that comparison remember few years ago. Aston Martin came to the mom with a new prototype with a straight six engine, basically didn't work, and so they they changed one bit..

"Yeah. You could you could probably publicly. I mean, you say, okay. Let's for example, say you're like a new front wing four times a year before the season starts, you have to allocate. What rish you're going to bring that new four wing too. So the team could have to say, okay, I'm going to bring a new front wing to Monaco. I'm going to bring a new front wing to SilverStone I stopped the team then to get that. Right. But then you don't get the puck is correct for that release. But then the media can make a big thing either them or you just say, whatever you're right with risks meeting. For example, you arrive in a strenuous us this package of car and those designs you can obviously replace it for accident dommage, but you have to use the same design and concept from wing on the floor in rear wing on you have to do four or five races with it without design and you have one while while herring. You can throw and of equal it just to if you're really in trouble. You still got opportunity to recover. He's many ways of doing it. But I think that the end of the day the only way you'll stop this big spend. Huge huge spend that of 'age is to try and trim them on stuff. You cannot take to the circuit. You how some dramatic moments. Well, the Nicolo invite you could have a front wing unveiling some star studded ceremonies for this. This could make things quite interesting. Well, let's have a look at what we expect from the season in terms of the storylines. Stuart it was Mercedes west is for Ori lost year. We're expecting it to be similar thing this year with a wild card that is red bull Honda, but we have seen quite a big change for Ari with Meriva by team principal departing Nazi. But also the former technical chief switched over to be seen principle. What do you think that might change Sunni gonna change the mixture, isn't it? I don't know. Whether they actually result will be any different because they seem to put someone who is calmer more collected someone who's who's better operating. A well-functioning organization, shall we say someone who's he's not a blame culture operator say, you would think that that would make the team operations a little bit more slick, but then they're actually introduced an element of unpredictability by recruiting the very young and talented Charlotte club, but some have psych Aryan, you you might bite me up on at did a very interesting column for Ephron racing magazine, which will soon be going. I think pump coming up next week Halfon racing where a point south actually, if you if you look at Charlotte clerks qualifying performances over the past season..

"When you go into the circuit doesn't work as planned. So you have to start again because the regulations of changed every day, you're learning something new about it. But at some point in time, you gotta make one. And then after that you make number two probably team late red bull. You know, top team Mercedes still have four or five different wing as the season goes by. But they'll probably have two or three before the first race, even so that's a million million used up to begin this. It would be interesting if you could put a price on for instance, the amount Ferrari invested in stuff they ended up having to take off the carbon the new floor in in Singapore. The front wing the barge balls the rear wing that they put on after that. And then they took it off again and went faster in the last three grand prix. Well, that's always interesting thing. I mean, they what's happening with FAA. They've reduced the use of wind tunnel time on CF daytime, and it's all very clever stuff because you're that big found this running in the winter it was very expensive. But it means that you don't have time to do all the running you'd like to do before you release the component to be made for the circuit. And that's very very expensive released a new under floor again. You know, it's a massive amount of tilling the component of self. You can't go there s meeting with one of them you need to you know, you have two or three. So by just wind tunnel time means more more stuff as I call. It ends up in the back of the skip in the back of the product at the end of this meeting. There's no because it's crashed down is this just because it didn't work on the circuit, you need to have more one tunnel time, you need to have more research time and really my book. I would be trying to police how many times you could enter just new stuff during the season. You take all this stuff around the car from the wings rear wings on the floors. And you say, okay, you know, you can have three or four or. Five Elise Peirce as in this up to you just one you do. But when you introduced a new one it has to be used you can't just go back to the old one. This is a new development you're putting on the car. So you try to limit among can be taken to the circuit. Let's play devil's advocate, Gary if you running jewelry in the glory days of rule change, which should he be seen as an opportunity and just Formula one fans in general, that's the optimism a disruptive change in regulations. It's not the biggest one we same still less a potential. It could upset the applecart could change a competitive order. Some things are going to do better than others, and we could see some unexpected results early in the season particular as a result of it. Yes. I you know, I believe is small team. You always look at the challenge. And I think it's a big teams like an oil tanker you're trying to steer. It you go so many people you're trying to steer it in the right path a small team can change your action pretty quickly. So short term thing is a small team. You see as an opportunity if you get everything, right? Then there's a very good chance you'll you'll do a good job. But if you Gary. And right. The big teams will just overpower you. So by the time, you get the European reissue fifth races season, partial lunar or something they're going to you know, they're gonna have been told me again. So yes, you can get a few points at the beginning of the year. But, but as cost you a huge amount of money, and some of these smaller teams are the ones that struggling Ferrari McLaren Williams, they will get some money out of. FM above the prize money. But this is small guys are making the racing that don't so they have to live from day to day is that an argument Gary full going through with your idea of limiting the number of introductions, you might jeering season actually make that part of the dramatic tapestry of a Formula one season. So in the same way that the transfer window operates in football and part of the theater, so you would have set races where where the teams can introduced development steps, and that becomes something that is worked towards the all the meteoroid is Asians can build anticipation towards it becomes a thing..

So they are able to use this mid machinery it as machineries revolted. To add. Hey, the coatings to to pause an offer the best possible finish on to get self. Is is not just one course in its multi layer coating so in a lot of our customers of cost customers doing appreciate this of the complexity of the court in that would apply they are really looking for the finished product, which is the Thelma Baria the sort of protection. But to actually get there that multilayer within that coating, the, you know, each layer is applied individually as part of the process, and all of that is absolutely critical in get McCulloch tting that first of all gives the them about your performance Brosseau gives the longevity in his again in whatever we could is going in a going onto a motor spot application. It's got to withstand some pretty set of difficult. Working environments in a way in you've got some warm of cool down. You've got quite a lot of vibration. You got very item, which is sometimes, and I would call Ting's half the last through in that that sort of written environment on as is fascinating see that the range of application so for for anyone at all to engineering on the on the the tenth of lyceum Stathis mentioned breviary exhaust plagues display. What? Built look we've worked tweed scoping exhaust to have a system coated in a range of different paintings people can see finishes as well. As these new heat shows that we've we've sold talks about a little bit. You be able to see to see them on the stamp. So that's going to be new for us. This year will also be bringing along composite composites that have got ratings on them. So people can see how the finish at Hayes to the composite slightly something that people worry about I think sometimes how the coaching will lost on a new type of material they might not have seen on before the moon. Also have a range of of exhaust components their people to to look at the different different finishes. Talked about how the coatings applied, and the fact that we melt the ceramic and fight at twice the speed of sound and new people failed at that sort of wanna talk about that process. It sounds pretty set of intense. And it's the prizes customers that we can still apply that courting using that process to Calvin comes in materials where the cabin comes. It is in a potentially damaged at just a few hundred degrees celsius, and we're able to control our process to the bring those two things together in effect. Our courting his welded onto the surface of the material. So in a by spring, very fine particulates through our process, each particle sticks to the subsurface whether it's carbon composite or metal. It will just melt the surface locally on welded self in place. And then we build up that sub of particulate courting to create. A sort of a complete Cova complete causing and that's part of you know, high will colty is so robust. And so well it did. And that the plies not just accounting comes at the medicine as well. And people surprised because at we can literally take a piece of the metal lockup and comes it without courting on and can bend it through quite sort of tight angle are tight and the coating stays intact, which again surprises people. Liz amazing to hear a little bit about what companies can do and sunny. This is great as British success story companies so integral, sir. This woman won a well, mice spilling in, sir. The automotive industry say thanks very much, Terry Graham and stuff you incisive under hopefully, pavers till standards engineering now, thanks. He's been good to talk. Thank you all ties points national be held at the Birmingham. Nec on. On the tenth to the thirteenth of January. The engineering show is on the Thursday and Friday. I those are the trait ice rather than the public. But there's a huge number of great engineering companies like Zach attack who'll be exhibited. Now, it's just a stoning to see the breadth of skill and expertise that there is in these companies both from this country and further afield who is supplying.

"Changing our product Sacha engine along with us, and we then take those products and the into the sectors in an asset that we are increasingly expanding into the top automotive sector. I guess that's what makes Zeca take a great example live this kind of British engineering company, I guess very specialized, but you ten years ago that Piquet shit that you'd never even considered because you a specialist company and then to spoil its performance by stories very to the focused fairly fast moving that makes it an ideal test bed to develop things develop things quickly. Absolutely on it. In a more spot is grit for that. And of course, attack being Abingdon Thames Valley is ideally positioned for a lot of this other motives about teams. A lot of the F one seems as we know based in not in our area Zirk attack on the back of motor spot as tick and developed his products is continuously developing products. We are a growing company. I'm in the company has grown tremendously since we left the nickel industry over the last few years we've been growing thirty percent year. So quite rapid growth and a lot of that growth is coming in more spots. But would also growing significantly in this in the automotive sector at where you know, increasingly we're seeing lightweight materials being used. So again, the technology that we have been offering into more spot is now really set of growing in in the sort of automotive sector exhaust coatings, again, our exhaust coatings of been around for quite a while that would continue to develop them with motor sports, and they are finding new applications in the automotive sector. And then I mentioned earlier. A heat shield materials heat shield materials is a rapidly growing area business voters. It's taken the Zach attack technology in being ineffective service. Wet Costa had send parts to the Zeca TEK factory for us to call them to a product offering where now in were incorporating our coating technology in it products in a heat shield material that we can ship anywhere in the world. You know, we are doing. So that's been real good step. Forward follows and it's an area that we come to develop. An we want to develop you know, it's a real growth area fours. Zeca Tech's been coming along to the spot. Sure. Now fall probably ten years, and every we find agreeably chill for as because of course, all of the mortar spot teams come along. So it's a grid opportunity for us to in a mate sub of the existing customers. But also senior customers will be there rare. The next. Spot show, of course, and we will be bringing along all of our products, but we are bringing along some interesting new heat shield materials, and we came to show customers. Those say really excited about old tasteful way on officially launching our new heat shield range, but we are going to have a complete exhaust system on our stand. That shake ace is not only our prosper applied coatings polymer coatings. But also a couple of these new heat shields for people to come in look at and get an understanding of what we are achieving next year. So we approached this shape by a manufacturer who wanted to generate a lighter and better performing he she'll than what is already on the market. So we've amalgamated our technology wave current methods of hate shoting to develop wall what we will be releasing this year, we tested a huge rate. Way of installation materials metals metal patterns as well to develop this heat shield solution that utilizes our patented plasma applications. Welcome hold. So that's gonna be on us stand on our exhaust system for people. Come to come look at get glimpse. I guess of what's going what they can achieve next year by by working alongside of us. What it really does is actually positions that could tech as you one stop shop for heat management will be able to do the exhaust paintings that say commonly known insane..

"Gives additional time before the that fire can spread from the battery to the rest of the vehicle. That's another interesting application of his academic coatings is really great is that as the made just industry is evolving where finding a lot of Allah solutions are being used in different ways full problems that we didn't even know existed a couple of years ago. So although the technology is evolving as well. A lot of it is just in how it's being used to to fight problems. I guess that the teams are having. So we get involved with bridge during Cosby. Technical partners pound racing on to doing a note of what with them to look at what sort of problem areas that they have the aunt necessarily a major do if we can apply something to it that we have a we can develop. What else can we do? What else can we do to within the motorsport industry to to give people more of a competitive edge? So we're really excited about the Lucien of hybrid technology in the industry and everything else coming out. And what we can do with with teams in custody -cations help I guess in a way fight. Hey, again, border sport is grit with us to develop technology said earlier would spin out from the agree industry. So we do have a call technology base. We have a number of patents books. How that talent technology is actually used in industry while motor spot allows us to its grip testbed for technology. It's grit with developing technology again, I we Brett use of coatings enough. One is allowed IRS to develop those cool things and improve them and look for new applications and f- Lola's forever..

"This of the phenol Rindge of locations on Kerr Zirk Affleck's itself. The basic product is not, you know, we've we've offered that for several years, and that's done really well for the company boats at auto spot this year, we are bringing along a ridge of new zika flex products and these new heat shield material incorporates the Zik courting, but really offering extreme high-performance. She'll materials say what else is being exciting. The shares being getting involved in new technologies of ov- ING in the motorsport industry. So getting involved with things like formula e we have. Grain technical team this share with both in new technical drector, an engineering team project implementation guys and they learn in the launched both electrically insulated. An electrically conductive coatings that ah being used on things like battery battery boxes that will eventually get adopted into the widespread automative industry, but now being used in a huge array of hybrid technologies, and we three that vote in formula. A surprisingly they got involved in coaching wheels. So that was pretty exciting part of the for us, and the adoption of the new technologies that we all growing up a really good point. I mean wheels on buttery boxes rechecking technology into electric vehicles in and we are increasingly seeing some hybrid vehicle applications tactic -nology. But also. So we're seeing sort of electric vehicles using technology that might seem bit to some of your listeners. Why would inveterate vehicle need heat protection? Well, formulae you correctly mentioned that Brit. But with fall Marie, of course, the bricks generate a lot of heat and with foam rave there were records Moore's came to stop that heat from the bricks going into the tires affecting tire pressure. And so we found ourselves put our courting onto the inside rims of wheels. And you know, what excellent obliga- shin for Zeca coating, and it's something that we ourselves unsubtly appreciated at we are also again, the wheels new magnesium alloy. But we are also cutting wheels Calvin comes it wheels. Now for automotive applications again top end, automatic visions use of carbon. Comes it Wales. The downside of that is the cop comes it potentially gets damaged by brick. And so in a with finding that Whipple. Now coating on the inside of the com comes it wheels to protect them from eight and we do actually have a patent positions on the location of recording to come compasses. So that is protected from were pump portfolio luxury boxes again Brits was in a correctly pointed out the Zecha coatings used on battery boxes free electric vehicles. And they're it's it's it's not location of our courting. There is not necessarily heat management. We have coatings that will come duct electric city, but also coatings there are extremely good electrically electric insulators and there used on on battery boxes to sort of stop the. Come to trivial actress ity into this of the battery boxes self. But this is another interesting use of the technology there in that our coatings on Calvin comes. It do also provide a fire block. So, you know, if you get a battery fire, which obviously, you know, there's a lot of energy in batteries in electric vehicles at the coating does offer some fire protection it.

"We can also apply the coating do apply the coating to light women to rules, so carbon composites plastics and becomes an enabling technology. For those materials because you tick material such as Calvin comes it that would be damaged pretty severely damaged by heat. And that tends to reduce its operate and shit by plying Zeca courting to that material we can allow that material to be used in environments that are very high temperature. So in a close to the exhaust system close to the bricks system heat shields around the engine compartments, and where the those components could potentially be exposed to nine hundred even thousand degrees celsius, and we can protect the component. So is an able technology where would that be used? Well, obviously on one we work with all one of the f one teams courting cabin composite components heat. Shields around the engine heat shields around the exhaust system. Lots of brick. Components. We basically see some pretty complex parts into the the factory we apply courting, and they often get fits into to the car. So turning components around in twenty four hours. Sometimes even for was for some of the teams at so lots of Cam comes it parts for more sports. Of course, that is lightweight materials is filtering through at two la- levels of more spot as well. So we do quite laurel endurance car. Now, you know this up of Lamont series anywhere. Welcome and comes is being used. So I've talked about exhaust coatings talked about coatings for carbon composite, but we do also have a product Rindge called Zirk flex and that is a heat shield material. But with the number of products within that set of zek Affleck's branch, and that uses Assem technology. So our coach. Technology. It's Zeca tech ceramic bist causing but instead of courting customer parts, we're coating it best material, and we are then offering that to customers as a heat shield. So it's proprietary shield customers can buy and can apply to.

"We'll have to wait for another one line for straightening. It's always the white people. Never once commits where things all have all have a good picture of what what's possible. And where things could be. Of course, the trouble is you can always look at things and say, well, if we'd had the weekend we should have done we'd have been there. But then of course, you're not necessarily the only ones who in that situation. So well, you could be the people who were head of you because they had a strong. There's others. There's others who could he could have been ahead of you after I think the thing that really struck me because I tend on the race torch on television, not entirely sure what so expect considering it is a big change in the powertrains. Of course, these calls are going full for race distances now, so big big big change in the in the technology. They're the overall competitive spread didn't seem to be too bad. It wasn't like people were five seconds of the back like a relatively tight credible bunch. So it won't take much for people to move places. The order if. Gets if I get a better understanding of how to maximize that repair trains is that any up at the front in the once Vern go ahead. He didn't completely drop to cost because reciting for there's no point wasting now ease of hold it Howdy back over, but why pointed out in my autosport magazine report, which should be able to read from Thursday before the safety car Daniel anxiously dowdy drivers twenty seven seconds on the leader. That's quite a big gap considering it's not a massively long race by point. I. Close competitive. But there are there are still a little bit of they'll be break-up in in the failed. Place as well in the pack. Exactly. So there are things and again like I don't want to be completely down on out because as we saw last year that came absolutely roaring back. But certainly I didn't expect it I didn't expect them to be that far away. So here's your money on for the championship. We think that technical cheetah is the runaway favorite now yet. So on Sunday when we at our filed fastened recording on now with more colors firmly this t- to most I think they're gonna win double down on that. I'm confidently say with all the caveats of always only been more raise it might be different different tracks based on what we saw just based on what we saw in Saudi Arabia. They looked to be on another level. And he said I spoke him he wasn't in that league in terms of for them as well as he could he was just like that on another level. So from what for more teens, I fought that that favors? We should mention the one piece of news over the weekend. Reverse on new Dale to keep him without same. Oh, great surprise.
