"I hear that the energy at your rallies of course. I spoke at one of them but You've got really big rallies. The energy is analogous to a trump energy. I think that's right Dentist i have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm. Men coming up to me crying saying thank you for saving california. Thank you for doing something about the crime. Thank you for doing something about the rise of homelessness. Thank you for doing something about the way this man shut down the state to the point. Dennis where a third of all small businesses are now gone forever. Many of which were only by black and brown. Asian american people. I only mentioned their race because people like avenue some themselves on caring about people like that And then i hear from women. Were telling me finally. I'm going to be able to have a choice. I can take my kid out of an underperforming government school And put him into a private school or charter. School or private school or home schooling. This is the kind of stuff that i'm hearing. And if i'd never ever imagined that it would be this kind of reception to my entering this race. I know. I know you didn't glow could you. You're just you're not an arrogant man to begin with so i. I have no doubt that this is taken by surprise and well-deserved by the way the smear campaign against you. Which is something i am used to reading about about anybody who was ineffective conservative. I'll give an example aside from the black face of white supremacy which should have rendered the author fired by the los angeles times but An example. I think i don't know if it was the new york times or or or wherever that you don't believe there is racism in america. Yeah well of course i. I've never said anything. Of course is is what. I've challenged that business about whether they're systemic racist The idea that the police are pulling people over in using voice against white people just because they're black that's been re the study. It's nonsense is what the left does to divide america to scare black people because they convinced a large number of black people. Dennis of that social justice is the primary issue in america. Not quality of schools not crime. Not where the nacho able to get a job and so they do this because they want to try and get that monolithic lactoferrin which they cannot survive at the presidential level.

California Recall Update with Larry Elder

"Larry how's it going out there in the field in california. What i think is going well The as you pointed out i clearly have the reality on the replacement side based on is whether or not percent plus one votes voters in california both to recall gavin newsom. And it's my job to remind people white. Nearly two million people signed a petition. Charlie to get this guy out of here. Almost a third of them were the very people that voted for him just two years earlier and by that i'm talking about independents and democrats. I should even at hispanics. Sixty three percent of hispanic voted for him two years ago. And now the majority of hispanics want him out largely because gavin newsom shutdown public education and before he sat down public education a kids educated in our government schools. Were already behind our scores near the near the bottom of all fifty states where we spending fifteen thousand dollars per student per year and not getting sufficient bang for buck. He also shut down the state to the point where a third of all small businesses are now gone forever and many of these small businesses were owned by black and brown in asian american people. The kind of people that people like avenue some pride themselves on caring about and so so larry. This is something that has now become a national kind of issue. The california recall and gavin newsom is very nervous and he's largely nervous because he has a formidable opponent in you and the message that you are bringing forward and you kind of set the entire american kind of political community on fire. And you've saved so disciplined. I just want to say they've tried to trap you in so many different

What Are the Newsom Recall Polls Saying?

"Hey everybody. Welcome to this episode of the charlie kirk show with us. Today's a friend of mine and he's rarely ever wrong. In fact we had him coming on our program leading up to the election and he got almost all of his predictions correctly. Richard harris from the people's pundit and also we had you on for the georgia thing and you're the one that early said. Hey we got a problem in georgia and you're right so we're going to talk about california polls and so all right richard. Let's cut through all of the nonsense. Yes the way. It works in california for all of our friends in maine and massachusetts and florida and south carolina. It's a two part question. Yes or no recall gavin newsom and if yes then who let's start with the yes or no. Do you think that the yeses are going outnumber the nose. Yes we pulled it a couple of weeks back and we had no ahead by a little bit charlie. But let me leave this with you. The caveat here is that. I thought my share of the you know is part of poland. I thought my share of the white vote was a little bit high california's usually forty five fifty percent tops and did see other pollsters. That had him in the sixties. If you look at who's voting right now. This is why democrats are nervous. The electorate is very white. And it's and it's much older so if if the electorate and we had them at fifth we whites at fifty five but we still had the age breakdown to be pretty young so that could a two point advantage could easily be swamped demographic difference like that the problem newsom has then i was just saying this before he needs white liberals and asian voters to come out and they are the least likely to want to vote. Weitz were over. Eighty percent certain to vote when we pull them And asia voters were in the fifty s. So it. I mean it really. It goes to show you got a close race can turn into a nailbiter either way

Equity Monday: Women's Employment Drops

"Goal. Stock markets are mixed. Asian markets are on the rise. Europe markets are slightly down and the us stocks were somewhat fought value of crypto currencies. Kind of looks the same. We saw some tokens and cryptocurrencies off. A few points this morning but not enough to start an entire twitter debate. The mixed feelings could be due to a lot of things first. Traders are back from the kitchen and analysts. Always have a ton of thuds. Some people think it's inflation some set. It's an upcoming european central bank meeting. But what i want to focus on is a less than ideal jobs report ready. Let's go. I'll start with the good news. We learned that in august overall unemployment declined to five point. Two percent from july's overall employment rate of five point four percent zero point two percent but i will take it because that represents a lot of people that now have paycheck coming in to their mailbox. That's kind of where the good news stops. Though this report we learned that the us economy added only two hundred thirty five thousand jobs in august which was a sharp drop from analysts expectations. But even looking at july's total which was nine hundred forty three thousand jobs to make matters worse fortune actually dig a little deeper and looked at the national women's law center. They say that women only accounted for eleven point nine percent of those jobs in august again. If you look at july women were sixty eight point eight percent of the new jobs. It's your reminder that we aren't back to pre pandemic level employment and that women are disproportionately leaving a now reentering the workforce at alarming rates.

Shang-Chi, Marvel's New Asian Superhero Movie Kicks Up $30 Million on Opening Day

"Marvel's new superhero movie shanxi and the legend of the ten rings is running rings around the competition this weekend. Npr's bob mondello has more. Hey it's a marvel movie. There isn't really any competition but cianci is doing much better than expected. Marvel's first asian superhero kicked his way to a nearly thirty million dollar opening day in north america. That suggests a three day. Take about sixty five million. The previous record for labor day weekend is less than half that. It's time to show the world who i really am. All of this comes with caveats. Labor day is the year's lowest grossing holiday which makes breaking records easier and as big as these numbers are they don't quite match marvel's black widow for midsummer still black widow had a home viewing option from day one so it dropped quickly in theaters. Shang cheese expected to keep kicking for awhile. They won't be streaming until mid. October bob mondello. Npr

"In modern times. Singapore wasyl is a global poll handing everything from kogo to passengers. What singapore all of his historical importance to the languages. If so when did it become so or was a focused mostly on trade slash kaga. That is a great question and it's not an easy question I mean this is relatively simple straightforward answer But it's one that requires a little bit of context as well. So singapore Was is as alex says very important port and nowadays will up until pre covert you know we kind of saw as a portrait world cruise ships would pull into There was obviously local crazy. There's been local cruising resuming in singapore with with dream cruises not something but You know historically the line. Voyages in the end the passenger ships that used to operate in this part of the world weren't just passenger ships. They were cargo carriers as well. So the the linas. This isn't an arab with thinking about the era prior to the nineteen fifties before jets before containerization of congo. The ocean liners used to be the primary mode of Of of large-scale cargo transportation. Along with things called tramp steamers which you'll see us to carry basically just goes and then i had combination line as well which was small compliments passages and large complement of cargo but the majority of the cargo travelled by ships that also traveling with passengers and in many cases the males as well because that Postal service was the the the subsidies where the backbone of the shipping lines in the early in the early days all the way up until the age of the jet so for singapore It it was an important port for multiple reasons kogo and and Mayo notwithstanding also for passengers because the singapore obviously with at that time was part of the british empire And so britain had connections into into singapore and for example would operate into singapore And also into other major asian ports from their hub in In the gulf of suez and then later when the suez canal was cut through they they obviously do the direct voyages that would go through from the mediterranean under originate in great britain.

"New. Why don't you start us off. As my notes are loading nine coming from the lovely land of china make news today. Tim recently just announced. I take the announced today but they announced that anyone under the age of eighteen will now have limited playtime. I guess you could say when it comes to gaming in china already has some restrictions around how much you can game so this is not anything mu in that sense but i do believe we've taken this a little far so new chinese law states that anyone under the age eighteen is not going to be allowed to play essentially any games during the week in starting friday the sunday they have three hours of allocation between eight. Pm in they can play an hour a day. Friday saturday sunday from eight. Pm to nine pm. So the good news. Hair league of legends fans primarily last day of positivity month so good. Last day of positivity the positive hair is u. n. a. e. u. fans should be relatively excited for the future of liangelo star craft or any of these games that have a bigger asian following if china's number. One in might not be very long. Tim three hours a week. You're allowed to play friday saturday sunday. One hour a day from like eight. How do they monitor that though. What's china but like in the sense of if your dad games in he doesn't care that you play more like couldn't have a big army. Maybe they have like a soldier forever cam on at all times when you're gaming like everyone must be streaming when you're yeah just getting ready to. I don't know if that would break the law. "But i guess it's a process and forbid there and i think like how did you find that courage to be like cam going to get a team together and we're not going to think about these consequences or at least maybe not not think about them but at least not. Let them decide for me. What i'm going to do. That's an interesting question. I think it's a little. It was perhaps a little bit different for me and it might not resonate with everybody. But i think being a migrant and not being dis is actually very interesting. Because i'm not sure if i if i am diaspora you know. I'm still playing with it. I don't know how i feel about it if if someone says like calling. That's south asians. Actually don't get your myself. I'm like okay for people. Bought raised here like that's my instant understanding. But for me. I think as a migraine. It was so difficult. Even get support from the south asian community in australia that it just felt like i would really have nothing to lose even if it failed that i was not really representing anyone I did not really have like a huge network or huge support system. And i feel like i don't know i feel like as an artist when you're alone. You can really do a lot more than you can do. When something is expected off a few nothing was really expected. All of me. And i just wanted to do it and you know and even if it failed i probably wouldn't have just fail you know tomorrow or next year. Whatever but my mindset was never really like oh no you know what will happen to me then nothing else. You're doing stories and i'll still keep publishing. You know my own experiences. I'll still keep getting artists from the community. That are you know really calling community out. Because i think it's so important for the south asian community in the west to be called out like they had to be called out yesterday. I don't know why it's taken so long coming back to having a courage i i. I'm not even sure if that's the right word it's like it's just trying to do stories that matter and i think if that's your goal than things than things seem very easy because it's very easy thing to do It comes with complications. But while i'm just going to do a story about how this particular family just got this lesson from india and paid them twenty dollars a month. I'm not scared to do the story. Because that's literally what happened. And i'm going to write about it. And that makes a lotta sense just like speaking truth you remove agendas you remove delicacies or being people being precious about things because you're not. Yeah yes absolutely. I love that people being precious like i. you know. yeah. I'm also passed to be like You know all my god might lose this brand partnership do the story. You might also never get that brand partnership because brands. Don't care about you though you know you might as well find people in the future for the long run will believe in what you're doing and that is actually priceless than a brand partnerships. "Enraged man they were also working in highly vulnerable industries during a pandemic. And so you saw all of those things manifest itself and the fact that it took so long identify who they even were really spoke to the volume of their invisibility and their lack of ties to the community and the isolation that some of them faced and so it was horrific and violent. And you know. I think that this is common in america this effort to dehumanize victims especially when they are people of color especially if they are black and his effort to justify the means of the perpetrator and it exactly reminded me of the incident win. Dylan we've killed nine people in charleston. South carolina and law enforcement took him to burger king. And this time this man kills eight. People and law enforcement. Saddiqui was having a bad day and when the shooting happened it did remind me of what happened in south carolina. And like here we go again. You know they they get to have bad. Days is not a hate crime. There's always these excuses for why they don't have to actually own the horrific things that they have done so we are seeing the end of the pandemic but we know that this violence against the asian community is still happening. What are some ways that we can stand solidarity with the community during this time. I think it's important to continue our solidarity and movement building hand-in-hand and reminding our communities that that sweat asian americans and black americans and brown americans did in the sixties when we were trying to pass the civil rights because asians did not have the right to vote did not have the right to own. Property did not have the right to marry interracially an for many years. This country decades didn't have the right to citizenship. And so we have to remember that we are fighting against the same system and as an asian american leader. My responsibility is to ask my community to do better and remind them that when this happened. Atlanta my colleagues from georgia black legislative caucus and double acp. They had my back immediately. They said to me we know you're paying too. Well we are with you. We are here for you. No questions asked. And i want to see people on the asian community to do the same thing for black lives. It cannot just be about us in some solitary moment. Scott to be concerted continued community building and the ability to heal between are black and brown communities where there has been tension where we have to recognize that those who are can be the oppressor so we have to be responsible for what is happening within the asian community in terms of how we heal and we move forward and we continue to build solidarity. But i think something that's critically important for all communities is to remember that these efforts to divide communities of color stem from that same system of white supremacy. And they're very intentional in nature so one of the things that we are seeing through social media is vis videos of some really horrific and violent incidences where asian people are being attacked. And it happens that some of the perpetrators are black. Those are the ones that go viral. But when we look at the data the majority of hate crimes against asian-americans are still by white people and so these are the types of things that are used as weapons to divide communities. And we have to be cognizant of that and remember that we are fighting against the same system that holds all of us down. And if we can't do that together those gains are are not going to happen in the way that we want them to happen so well said in such sound advice and before you go a course i have to talk to you about your race for secretary of state i was so excited when you announce so tell everyone a little bit more about your campaign your website and how they can follow you. Yes so i announced on may fourth. And i did pick me for on purpose. Somebody asked me that i said. Yeah all the great puns that we can create with a may fourth announcement. They were great. I love them. Some good ones may the fourth be. Winning is what. I came up with and it has been. It's been exciting with a lot of energy and a lot of folks in georgia and across the country reaching out and saying we need a secretary of state who has a history of advocating for voter rights and voting expansion. And we need somebody who is going to use truth and facts and we need somebody who is going to have georgia's georgians backs all the time when it comes to protecting this fundamental right to vote and so we know in two thousand twenty two. We are hoping that we have stacey. Abrams on the ballot. That is going to be reverend. Warnock reelecting him. Stacey abrams on the ballot and i think the secretary of state's race is going to be one of the most important races. Not just in georgia but in every single state we know that the function of the secretary of state as the chief elections officer. They're the ones who are going to be able to act as safeguards to what we are seeing which is the erosion of democracy by republicans. And so this see is going to be really instrumental and how we move forward in the state of georgia especially knowing that we can win statewide. But we're going back in for redistricting where we have. No control over the redistricting gerrymandering. So what we're looking at is an uphill battle to take the house. And so we've got to have these safeguards in place when it comes to our state wide races you can learn more about my race on Be for georgia dot com.

"It's ashanti galler. The host of the broncos guy to politics and today we're tackling the effects of the pandemics on the asian community. Are i guess is new york congresswoman. Grace me she shares with us. How the pandemic stirred anti-asia cinnamon not only in the greater public but also in government are second-guessed is georgia state representative be when she talks about the violence towards the asian community in georgia in her campaign. For secretary of state and around us out we will be given special training from morita. Agile baez of asian americans advancing justice and gabriella. Mahia apollo back. A what bystanders can do when they see people experiencing anti-asian harassment. I hope you enjoy this episode. Welcome back everyone. I am so excited as usual to be joined by congresswoman grace meaning from new york. She someone who. I've had the privilege of knowing for a few years now and she is just such an advocate for women communities of color congresswoman. Thank you so much for taking the time to join us today. Thank you sean. T anthro to be here and just an amazing fan of all of your great work. The feeling is mutual. I i want to start off with how are you doing. You've lived through a pandemic and insurrection. At the capitol and an increase in asian. Hey there has been a lot going on in this world great question. I think many of us who have gone through twenty twenty. We're looking forward to what twenty twenty one would bring. And yes starting with a insurrection at has proven to be a very eventful year already but i am glad that our country is getting through the pandemic. We finally have leadership in the white house that is helping to continue to save lives. Help our country recover from this pandemic. we've lost too many americans around the country and yes. I think you know going. Through what we've seen a skyrocketing number of hate incidents against asian americans has been really frightening but at the same time i feel that one of the silver linings of all this is that we have been having very intentional conversations. On what we As our shared communities around the country needs to do better and to do more of as a member of congress. You've truly had a front row seat to how the government has been handling the pandemic so when it started in twenty twenty and now looking at us coming to the end of the pandemic are opposed pandemic world. How did it impact your community the district that you represent and what do you think are still going to be some of the long term impacts that you're going to have to deal with as a congresswoman and that our country is going to have to deal with so new york city especially queens. New york was really the one of the first epicentres in this country are jobs were completely transformed. I mean you know. We had emergency room doctors to a lab technicians calling from hospitals people. I didn't even know personally just crying to me on the phone begging for help whether it was you know. Ppa at the time or ventilators. They were so You know mentally stress. They were fearful that they were going to die. I mean we've all seen images of one of my hospitals in the district elmhurst hospital where there were lines around the block from people seeking help and trucks converted into makeshift morgues. So our district So many people have just been through so much and what was really frustrating. Was that we were trying to work with the former administration who really just not provide enough support for our communities and it was so so frustrating and so now he no. I'm glad that we are coming out of the pandemic We are seeing you. Know vaccination rates go up but we still have a lot more work to do. We need to still get more vaccines into more arms. People have still lost their jobs. They've lost their family members and loved ones. They've lost their homes. And so i really have seen and believe that we can't just build back to what things were the day before the pandemic started. But we have to be smarter and more creative and more equitable and how we're restoring a lot of our programs services and infrastructure. He adjusts Allied on so many of the injustices that we've seen and in addition to leading on cova did you've been a key voice on stopping asian. Hey we've seen an increase across the country and what some of these hate crimes there not only racist in nature. They're also success in that they target women especially what we saw atlanta. So can you tell us about your work around this issue especially the legislation that you have lot on in congress and for the listeners. Before we started the interview i told the congresswoman. I'm just so grateful for her. Being a voice of reason anna champion during this time and speaking out because we know that there are so many people who really would like to just seen the swept under the rug. So we yet again didn't have to address the racism in our country so a lot of these incidents were already starting to happen even before covert hit us here in this country on a lot of small businesses. That were owned by asians. Were telling us you know sort of founding totally here and there that business went down people would say that. They were afraid to go because they didn't want to catch it. If you went to your local chinese restaurant a lot of you know there is a real lack of information and people were already being discriminated against. And i think with the the language that the former president used to you know calling this wuhan and chinese virus and come flu really emboldened a lot of naive fear that so many people had and so we worked on legislation and i will say that we were just begging the former president and other leaders not to use those terms because wing knew what would happen. We knew that these incidents would go up and worse case scenario we saw something like the tragedy in atlanta which is exactly the type of tragedy that we were fearing and so we've been working on legislation and i really wanna take a moment to thank my colleagues you know obviously are asian caucus the congressional asian caucus has been working on this issue alive. But we couldn't have done it without the support of our colleagues in the black and hispanic caucus for example. I mean the solidarity. That we have felt i i as an asian american have never felt so much support on a show of solidarity as i have felt this past year and a half or so and we wouldn't have made it this far without the support and strength shared with from other communities And so. I do think that that is the less than going forward that i hope that we can continue to to practice. We've passed legislation. President biden and vice president. Kamla harris have been super supportive since day one even after the tragedy atlanta they flew to atlanta to meet with local leaders and belt and comforted the people of georgia after this happened and that in turn brought comfort to asian americans all across the country. So yeah we've passed legislation that will hopefully Provide more transparency intel into how the government is collecting data and how we are reaching out to hate crime victims and how we are going to provide more resources to our local community groups to help.

"And this entire event is he's going to have so many more fans he probably has a podcast. He's going to get so many more patriots donors because now he is this mascot of free speech and like anti weakness and against pc culture but then when you watch that video for the moment he steps on stage like this agro energy and drops the c. h. Word people were laughing in the room. That mike fuck all of you wanna make any of you laugh because why are you laughing. What's examined that they're stupid and he's point at as as as it goes on he like the the the stick kind of fades away. People stop laughing. It doesn't work. It's working right and that's what i'm like. I'm willing to give dude. I can't believe i'm willing to give people some races of unlike you have a little bit. I get you know what i'm saying. I understand i get it. You know what i'm saying. And after a while like people always say oh you got to be the best you know like a real filled with diverse people because we only get the best people right so then how come when you not good. You still want the thing you know you still want Up the praise so and to my original point. It's like wiki fucking talking about this. I don't i don't wanna talk about it. I wanna talk about you. Know i wanna. We should get because i watch. You said it's funny. And he's funny and he has the ship you know he also knows what's up i would. I would have loved it if paying followed him. See this is like the white supremacy thing. It's this man. Our problem with him as stand ups is that he's not funny. Okay he's just not funny. So why is he failing up. Because he's a white man and they're like they're all defensive about him now. You're like ooh it's like shane. Gillis like he's our little loser loser brother. you're bullying him. he's not funny though. I thought you said that your whole thing was just being funny. You know is so many white comics came to his offensive. We understand the full context of you have to understand. The context understand the context of it. Use a comedian that you mentioned earlier apart until like when you when she does a late nights that when i first moved to new york i said oh. She's my favorite comedian. So many comments produce your fucking seth meyers set so fucking bad and so fucking not funny and it's like she's literally late night because context argument races of the full story. The thing they're all those white guys are like. We gotta protect protect comedians. This is art form but none of them are protecting ping also a comedian. They're only protecting the racist. Protect their for all the comedian. Let me ask you this. This is a discussion. I heard that was interesting because they were friends. A. angel guest. This guy said you know i understand. It was upset. But i if they were friends. Why didn't he just talked to him in private. Why did he t clout chased is when they were saying. And to me margaret against that is like so why did paying have to suffer public humiliation when it's your bad. He's got to do it privately. So ego is okay. It was a woman in a manmade reap jokiel. Menas sit in a room alone with somebody. That's shows obvious hatred toward women. Shutoff up it's not safe for us. Even if it was why no right now you gotta you gotta do him a solid right. That's the thing you don't have to treat him like a human over. I'm so over it. And i'm like honestly there's no i'm getting older is just seeing all of these like forty year old white comics in fritz. About this fucking like tony. I'm just like dude. Go fucking read up about this. Really palestinian conflict. Go start a family road to.

"Split up ten seven. White media's always harping on black people being like hateful towards asians and i'm like you know that's true but i don't like how you guys like this. Our she like this. The meanwhile beating you up in the back. I love them so much. Stabbed me shift me. Yeah no i know but obviously my answer is i. Don't feel it that kind of way. Obviously yeah no. We're friends about you. Brain yeah i don't i don't feel that but i will. I will say that there are times where let's say a fan will be like i love your podcast and then they'll just like out of nowhere. Just bring up like yeah you guys as podcast way more than they should not. How why are you turning this competition thing. It's it's white. Supremacist mindset right. But honestly i. it wasn't until i people would like voice their support or like how they like the podcast where. I think that our audience demographics are kind of like yes. there's a lot of overlap. but there's differences. There's a lot of overlaps allies. It's not like it's not like if you listen to us one hundred percent. Listen to because. I always you know if it's appropriate. I'll definitely give a shout out to your guys. And we met at asian asian podcasts. You should definitely check it out. And they're like oh. I haven't heard of that. I'm like well that's like this. I guess there isn't as much over. I've i've also met people who are like you dress like you'd be into feeling he's in there like i've never heard of it. You know it's interesting. Yeah i do think different. I do think our demos are different. Because a girl said mike me once. Podcast wasn't feeling asia. I was like why i i was just curious. Why like hey. I like that. I like that break dance fighting. Hit spin nowhere. I got this. I asked him why was legit cares. Because i listen to your pocket. I think it's great and i didn't. I feel like if you if you like our podcast. Enjoy both s okay to. It's curious just from a market research standpoint. What violent here. I want to hear but i have my own opinion and this was just one person but she said that it was too emotional for her for very emotional. People don't want to. I enjoy it. Because i'm a comedian. I like going there. I like crying. And but i could see like. Oh hey asians not a model that some people some agents. I know i'm such a market research nerve like you in that aspect where sometimes people be like. I can't listen to all the episodes. Like i pick and choose and i'm like that's not good. That's good for every episode. I feel that that all the ultimately has to really come down to do they. Do they like the energy that you're putting out. You know what i'm saying. And i sometimes wish that because what i think you guys do better than us is that you guys. Are you guys kind of like feature yourselves more. Do you know what i'm saying. Like this is all about us and our journey and of course you have guests and stuff like that. But it's like you know this is like sort of your process we're going through your processes you're putting it out there for us. You know we. I think our a lot orphans really like our thing we've got going on but then like you know we have a lot of guests and stuff like that and sometimes i guess kinda like bring their shit and we kind of get lost in the shots this is. This is a very balanced conversation. But we have a guest. We don't know it's sometimes they take over and we don't know what i tell your story about your dad go ahead. It's fine but like the thing with interviews is that you'll come like the only marc maron. I've ever listened to the one with. Oh bob on it right right. I didn't come back to any other ones. you know. so that's kind of like the game you play. You may get a bigger number because you had some like awesome guests. But then you don't get to feature your personality and then people don't like they don't get don't get the sample and fumie flavor. I think that for well like just you saying that makes me feel ashamed. Like what am i dealing. Why am i losing a bad way. Just me my own chip. But i think that brian i talked about this. This is a big asian. Asian people are taught to non of an ego ego. Don't make room for yourself. And then and then the act weird and then they're like that. I love if you hold it down and go sideways. Then they become like your ego. Whoa because everyone is a natural. Like if you hold a weed down. Just korean thing. And i think i heard in america. It's like you walk a. We'd like a growing instead of growing up. it'll just grow sideways. gonna stop growing. So if you push down your ego you're gonna become a fucking weirdo and be like go online and tell women like. Why are you wearing a bikini you than everyone because you're not giving room for your own ego. I think that's a big problem in asian communities true. You're taught not to have ego. But the egos natural. It's like your liver you can't make it go away. So like not you unlike indulge in it like a fucking narcissist and. I don't think we do that but you should. But there's nothing wrong with making room for yourself. And like if and i'm just going to talk about myself and if you don't wanna listen. That's totally understandable. If you wanna talk about yourself you should do that but that has nothing to do with me talking about myself and we should work on getting rid of the shame of that and i think by doing is like the way to show other asians at. It's okay like i. M whatever like i'm like an asian woman and i don't give a shit i'm gonna talk. I'm not gonna feel ashamed about it. Even though i do like the message. Brian i talk about how it fox us up because we feel shame the law. But i think that's important for asians to see that. Yeah i totally agree right. Took the words right out of my mouth or is just do like a solo episode. A lot of it comes out and think eighty percent of that a twenty percent. Who don't listen when it's just us or like i don't like donald just lower when we really lonzo because i feel like we noticed ours are like the same or higher there was was like they like the solo episodes. But i'm weird. Like what the fuck would anyone wanna listen to it. We try and get worried. Why would anyone listen to my shit. And i think that's kind of like the whole thing with what you said. Yeah making making yourself small. And that's not healthy. Obviously like a raging nurses. But like we're not that we were working so hard against being taught us children that we don't matter that like even if we like overcompensate that which were not. there's no way. I'm going to end up on the other and i'm not going to become donald trump because i have a you know what i mean. That's just like you're not gonna kind of mental illness. That i just don't write your teaching us about so much man me yourself. Peavy myself masturbated two months..

"Now with like tiktok. Instagram mean pages podcasts. Like that's like the future. It's just yeah yeah. Yeah that's that's like sending we transfer file at that point. I don't know if i enjoy writing letters by hand via like a pen to justify the amount of effort that i put into it and so i'm just approaching it as a business person. Like what is it gonna give me the biggest return of investment here. Do you like it like no one can take that away from you. I'm being me. Because i'm an insane person and we'll get to this later but i want to do it all the just doing tiktok beyond just the puck. It's not enough for me. I need live. And that's the only way i can really achieve happiness and so it's a sickness. I think yeah. I would agree. I i always think of standup as like you know. That is the The the mixed martial arts the toughest form of comedy I don't even know if that's true or not been my mind is i think it's very true in the harder like raw is very as and i would say for sure if there was if i had never done stand up i would never i would not be here i would not be. I wouldn't have these things that got me into the thing it's just like it's like the punching a rock one hundred degree tough calluses and i wouldn't be able to do a funny tiktok not that i do that often but i wouldn't be able to do it at all out. Stand up here. One hundred percent agree with outstanding. I mean that's why. I have no regrets about doing all that stand up because translates well into the podcast format know how to speak in a certain way to be engaging but i will say that another aspect of stand up is when you don't do it for a while you notice how toxic the community is leading up. And now that i don't do it anymore go on. I don't use instagram. That much. And when i go on instagram and i'm like there's just so much fucking rampant narcissistic personality disorder. That is where you're in the thick of it. Everyone else is doing it so you start drinking from the kool aid. You're like yeah. I'm gonna post a fucking hot selfie of myself and shoehorn some half ass even funny caption. Because that's what people want right. And i'm like help. No one is asking for this. This is what's really going to get the notice you. I feel like all of us. Keep saying stuff like fuck fuck. Do one of us gets really quiet because we all do. We play a game called like comedian or instagram model. And you wouldn't even know. Because i love i love. How rica median. I've done it myself. Where it's almost like from years two to four in their career san journey they assume this persona. I'm hot comet does it. Yeah and they're always not that hot somewhat. I remember we were talking about. That was like me. That's part of the joke. Because she's not hot. And you're like no. I don't think that's what she became. And she's mediocre. I'm also glad you're here because we're the can't believe i have to say this. We're the we're two of the more popular. Most popular comedy feels weird to say. I swear to god. I sometimes actually think no listened to us and that our numbers that we get from our platform is just made up government. It looked like you know and we actually are only reaching ten people in the philippines yell all these other people but you know the other day i was at a show and the the host was like man you know. I hear you're doing great. You know you and fumio podcast. I'm so happy for you guys. Also though hey man feeling asian. You know they're really killing thing. Going for dating was like you guys like fighting. Or he said he said. Are you guys fighting for supremacy for asian comedy while we're like to a yakuza versus other cuckoos bobby lease in la. Like who the fuck is exactly so. I don't know if you have you anyone come to you and said that because i do think it does come up for us. Somebody asked me a comedy central to get somebody did bring me up once as the host of asian. Not gonna tell you but she college is and she was not white so home just like messed up the name. Onto the meeting hosting your. Yeah your apologize. And i was like. Oh it's i was like well that's also a great podcast. I this is what i'm gonna before. Brian says i mean. I will never fucking i will not even even if i did hate you or was comp- competitive with you which i'm not you both. Are mike very close friends. And i respect your podcast and i feel like we're different enough. That doesn't matter. I don't feel competitive. But if i did i would never fuck intel away person. No we're great. "Whatever and jessica. I feel you were mentioning that. There is a difference between asian stories. And i don't even. I don't know if hollywood understands this yet. But there's different between agents stories and asian american stories right and you know those are those are different things. Yeah yeah because thematically like we care about different things and also. Our relationship to representation of ourselves is different than they have in. America like an asian american audience like we. We want to see stories that kind of reflect our our experience but also our relationship to our heritage and whereas like that's completely uninteresting to people in asia because there are like what the fuck it will tell you about like. They don't have that issue with exploring their heritage and what their relationship is to their heritage into their culture you know because they just live and exist as themselves as the dominant majority who've never had any sort of problem with representation. All of their stories are their stories. Yes whereas for us we're trying to eke out slivers representation for ourselves in this greater span of like western media and that's something that they don't understand which is very frustrating for me. Because it's like i understand you understand me. You know what. I mean and that sort of thing you know. i'm. I'm not trying to necessarily you know shit. I'm not shitting on any asian stories. Those are cool stories to. I'm just saying that like there's also our stories and should be. There should be fine if you got if you got there are hot. Chinese dudes mean. Who's who's who's who else is in. Change tony young. Isn't it yeah. He's amazing. I love that guy great. And he's a legend. And i want him and i want all these Asian american actors to so. I'm not trying to restrict. I'm trying to expand like sort of the range different things and to your point jessica. It can be very frustrating. Because you you sometimes think that maybe that asian people from asia would be on our side but they're not hundred sometimes so we're not the same and that's the problem. The problem is that hollywood is treating us like. We're all the same. I think that's what that's part of the reason why. Asian asia asians are bristling against. Because they're like. We're not the same as asian americans aren't and there's acknowledgement different by by white hollywood because hollywood is like look asians. There's asia you look a look at your own. Hollywood twenty like you know if they could if they just acknowledge if they were look guys. This is an asian american story. And it's four. Asian americans made by asian-americans like that. Would i think that would go a long way in asia not feeling patronized because that's the other frustration with with people in asia is that there are like. Do you think it's insulting for you to think that we are so dumb. Yes sad just seeing an asian famous enough for us to buy into your movie right now. Like that's insulting like we're not the same and you think that we're too dumb to not know that we're not the same as that person you know and also do you think that we're so dumb that we don't know that you only through that one asian actor for ten minutes because you think it'll get our mighty chinese dollar. We're not dumb. We're actually intelligent people and it's very insulting for you to think this you know when someone tries to like scam you. But they're so bad at it now. I'm insulted that's how it feels you know yes. The problem is the way. Hollywood is acting about it like they keep acting like it's the same and and it's an entire group of people that are like you're lumping us in with people who have a completely different experience and relationship to this culture than we do. Yes yes and to your point it. It's a disservice to on both sides. It's a disservice. Asian americans ended the service to to agents. I think you're right. Things will come out and say hey we got this guy here and there will be just like well just because they kind of look like me doesn't mean this is not serving what i need like. Look this is this is the oppressor favorite game which is a pit the minority groups against each other now the now like asian americans in asia and asia asia. Asians are fighting each other. Rather than trying that i s hollywood right and i'm i'm not yes exactly instead. We're literally fighting over like cba lose. Abbas who fucking we're fighting for who's had okay we can all. Let's this is how why we should all. Just go back to the okay. We can all agree the grand eminem's hot this. What this all comes down to genius. You've done it. Do you think that this is like i feel like this is uniquely is an american problem. Because i don't ever hear like okay. Let's say okay. Take a movie like moonlight. You know we don't hear anything about how like okay if they just showed that the people from like i don't know ghana or something you know if they get upset like we don't hear anything like right they're never they're never like marking it towards conflict in africa because just because their skin color is the same right yes right. I think that's one thing that always pisses me off. Is that In the media to they. There's this idea that like people in agents who are in asia asian than us and therefore if they're not upset about it we can't be upset about it you'll see you see..

"Liked about you was asian. I'm not white. I'm not black enough to be black. Because i've worked hard and had my own successes that means i'm privileged. No because in that same sentence you used racism against me. Saying i'm this not like you i am other. I am not like you. You do not belong into these communities therefore you are not privileged and you are not discriminated against. You are only an asian and placing a label on a part of me. A part of me that i can't even change that. That's something i have. No control over. That is not even something that i would conceptual. I'm not people. Don't look at themselves as half black half white and they look at their body parts and see which part of them is white and which part of them is black. I am not only asian. When i'm fetishizes d- i'm not only in asian woman when somebody wants to fuck me i'm not only an asian woman. People need a token. I've been told by other people that my culture doesn't exist because asia is too big it involves too many countries. Therefore how can even be a culture. You can use white. As a term for caucasians you can say black for a term for people of african descent. But if you say asian in reference to an entire continent. I get told that that doesn't even exist. That is not even a thing. You have to be oriental. Or japanese or polynesian. So basically. you're trying to say you. Yellow people over there you brown people but you won't say it. That's still racism that is still anti asian. Why because that is putting xenophobia. On us it is us versus them. It is us as you. That's not the way it is. I was called both the n. Word and squad in the same conversation once. I understand what those terms mean. And i apologize for having to use them to in order to explain something but using the incorrect racial slur on somebody is an example of not only racism but then phobia it is the other. You don't even care what i am. I'm just other. You don't even know the history of those terms but you're willing to throw them at me just to hurt me because you see me as other when i asked a photographer why they had an image. They were doing sure ebi shabby sorry.

"And because it's so small, it can travel much deeper into the skin. So for skin that gets easily irritated and has its PH disrupted and acid that does deeper damage isn't healthy. So other harsh or aggressive ingredients like long chain peptides, they should be used with careful consideration. I mean, everyone loves peptides, but peptides are chains of amino acids, and those amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. Those proteins build collagen and elastin. So the longer the chain, the greater the risk of irritation to the skin. Peptides typically are named for the number of amino acids in the chain. So if something is, oh, this has a tripeptide in it. It has three amino acids, where a hexapeptide has 6 amino acids. So a hexapeptide is going to be more irritating and aggressive than a tripeptide. And sometimes people like thinking that if it's got more, that makes it better, but that isn't necessarily true with Asian skin. I'd also want to start my client very slowly on skin care. If they have an issue or get irritated, how will you know what product is the problem? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Putting them on a skin care routine with so many different ingredients without properly understanding the complexity of their skin, that may cause some damage. So on the other hand, what ingredients have you seen? Work really well with Asian skin types. I know that Asian skin care often includes the use of snail mucin. That's the slime that comes out of snails. And it's believed that, you know, snails will travel great distances over any kind of ground. They even can glide over glass and the next day those tiny cuts and injuries from the glass are healed up. So the slime is thought to have a lot of healing properties and a lot of Asian skin care, including K beauty or Korean skin care..

"This is fearless beauties, a podcast dedicated to elevating voices of color in the beauty industry. We're talking to estheticians, skin care specialists and business owners to uncover best skin care practices, tactical career tips and ultimately how we can create a better beauty industry together. I'm your host, Mary Nielsen. This week on fair list beauties we're starting a brand new set of episodes, all about treating different skin types. That's right, so for the next few episodes, we're gonna be doing a deep dive into the different chapters of the fearless beauty's book. Starting with how to treat Asian skin. Let's get started. All right, so Mary. What is the number one misconception that estheticians face when treating Asian skin? I think the number one misconception is that Asian skin is more resilient than it really is. I think the misconception comes from believing that Asian skin is very similar to white skin. In the Asian culture, the use of topical melanin suppressants to lighten the skin is really, really common. So the esthetician who doesn't do a solid consultation is going to make the assumption that the Asian client is about a Fitzpatrick two when Asian skin is always a Fitzpatrick four or higher. And the Fitzpatrick scale is a scale that was developed by a doctor from Harvard University that actually rates skin according to its ability to tan after UV exposure. While Mary, that is really eye opening, I can already tell that this is going to be an info packed episode. But I think it's time to introduce our expert. Well, absolutely. We sat down with Beatrice van, the clinical coordinator for fearless beauties. So with Asian skin, you know, myself being Asian and growing up, not really being able to learn a lot about it and then as I became an esthetician and going into treating agents and pipes without having some of that knowledge, I had to really do a lot of research and, you know, we do suffer as, you know, a lot of darker skin types, PIH, which is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. That is one of the commonalities of our skin conditions, as well as acne and also atopic dermatitis, which can be a big concern in a sense of us having our PH being disrupted, which can lead to barrier function issues that can lead to atopic dermatitis. So those are some common as well as melasma and hyperpigmentation that kind of sits with the PIH in our conditions of what we battle with on a daily basis. Okay, Mary, so for listeners who may not be familiar with inflammatory.

"asian and" Discussed on The Psych Central Show

"Of the Psych Central podcast calling into the show today, , we have Dr Esther Park, , who was a board certified child adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist Dr Park Completed Her psychiatric training at the La see USC medical center and has more than seventeen years of outpatient clinical experience treating adults and children Dr Park Welcome to the show Oh it's such a pleasure. . Thank you for inviting me. . Well, , we really excited to have you here because we want to talk about the stigma of mental health in the Christian and Asian communities. . So let's jump right in why is there stigma mental health in many Christian circles? ? This is an area where I'm very familiar I grew up. . My father was a Presbyterian minister, , from Korea, , as first generation Korean. . Moving here to the United States and I was born here. . So I'm a US barring korean-american. . So I got to see just what it's like to grow up in a church actually Korean church I believe that the stigma comes from misconceptions, , a lot of misconceptions about healing in general general healing of physical problems and especially mental healing. . So for example, , maybe seventeen hundreds, , right? ? Where severe mental illness just gets to frame. . Yeah where they're having nations and bizarre behaviors that used to be looked upon as demon possessed, , and so from those generations and centuries until now it's still has kinda trickled to this modern day of if you have a mental illness and you can't quote unquote, , shake it off that something's wrong with you spiritually, , I'm reminded of the Salem witch trials. . And Twenty, , the majority of people believe that was just an extreme overreaction based on on so many factors but fear being primary one, , and now here we are in twenty twenty and I I recognize that that we're not burning anybody at the stake but it's interesting to me that that we're allowing sort of this misinformation or there's misconception and this fear of mental illness Dr, , are thinking when the. . Average person in two thousand, , twenty completely understands that letting fear and misinformation drive are thinking all the way back in. Salem . wasn't overreach an overreaction. . It feels like the same thing just with less dire consequences except of course, , if if you're a person living with mental illness or mental health issues and you don't get the treatment and support that you need to death is a very real possibility. . Right I, , totally agree. . It's just a different form now, , just more maybe acceptable form today how people are being viewed or treated whenever they're struggling, , and then that causes people to not share their struggles. . Do you feel that the average Christian feels that they can't seek help because it salt their faith or is it deeper than that? ? Not about insulting their own faith, , it's about like if I help. . And I find out that I really have a diagnosis or I'm really experiencing something real. . then. . That's GonNa to prove that I am not a person of true faith or my faith is weaker than others and they're very fearful to discover that sometime. . So there's a great deal of denial and a great deal of I can just beat this with my faith. . All I have to do is pray or all I have to do is go to more worship services. . So I think those are the reasons why rather than a direct insult to the faith professionally, , I would say why there's a stigma there's such minimal knowledge ignorance about physiology and medical background and even psychology even the entire field of psychology there is another misconception. . Just based on the fear that that is not of God and they think that psychologists or even the theorists of the past are not aligned with God and they just kind of alienate them or marginalized them as opposite of God or atheists, , and so I found that very intriguing because I grew up even I think my own dad would talk about Freud or other famous theorists not there of the devil but like they're influenced maybe and did not trust psychology and maybe people don't even try to go to a psychologist for fear that Oh they're going to change me and if they changed me, , I'm not going to believe in God. . I might talking really extremely in terms of like what the thinking but deep down inside there is so much fear in going to a psychologist. . They don't know that these are actual neurologically based struggles. . For example, , major depression severe anxiety disorders polars your friend. . Yeah. . These are disorders of neural transmitter imbalances. . And they can be treated. . On the other hand on the spiritual level, , I'm a firm believer that many have inaccurate standing about what we call the Gospel or the good news. . They don't know the message of the Bible I think they misconstrue so many things and just pick and choose what they think the doctrines. . And then apply it to certain things. . For example, , have you ever heard of the word legalism? ? legalism is it term <hes> based on the law? ? So example, , there are laws of God or there's these traditional laws interpreted as laws of God, , and you must obey them, , and that's the only way to please God or get blessings. . And therefore, , if you don't, , you may get punished if the mental health issue is considered as a punishment than they may be experiencing Oh, , I must be punished. . This must be a consequence of a pass wrongdoing. . So it's totally, , it's the misconception starts to

"You're listening to Queen as that like two days. This is in danger David through. Yeah and apple guys. Welcome back to first of all a real unfiltered conversation on career family relationships and all things modern culture. I release Mindy Chang and thanks so much for tuning in for this week's episode. I hope you're doing well. We're healthy and happy and centered aligned and doing as best as humanly possible. I'm very excited for this week's episode. Because I got to sit down with my friend Michael Bo Mike as call him and Mike is an actor. He's a youtube personality. He's a musician. 'cause player and just all around amazing man and human being and for this week. I wanted to sit down with him actually sat down a couple of weeks ago to talk about Asia Masculinity now. This conversation has come up before as something. I'm continuously discussing dissecting but wanted to get Mike Sue Perspective on it because Mike's Career as an actor has kind of centered on a representation of the modern Asian man and obviously when you talk about things like gender identity it can get very layered and it is very layered. Complex is no one perspective that that colors everything you know that that is the end all be all perspective and I just WanNa put more voices out there and more experiences so that we can better understand why were at where we are now. Better put it. Because there are a lot of layers to this and the Asian American identity in general but specifically for men there's been so different research studies and whatnot just about desire ability in who performs the best dating apps and I think any one of those perspectives deserves much more deep dive analysis. Therefore it was my privilege and my honor and just a fun conversation with Mike to hear about his experiences in his perspectives and how that has changed over time. So I hope that you'll listen to this episode enjoy with an open heart and with an open mind And again if anybody has their thoughts or feelings that they wanNA share with me. You can always hit me at first of all pot gmail.com or go to my instagram for at first of all pod. Happy to hear your perspectives and I never assume that any of these conversations is perfect or you know the total perspective. This is just ongoing discussion. So yeah I'm excited to hear back from you and before we get into this episode for This Week. I did want to take a second because it has been a pretty heavy week for a lot of people all over the world and not miss an opportunity to acknowledge myself the passing of Kobe Bryant and has daughter Jonah now. I'm not a huge basketball fan. I didn't grow up Being stuck to the TV. I'm proud warriors fan because I represent the bay. I love Steph Curry but koby is an icon and hero for so many people outside of L. A. And anybody WHO's a Lakers fan? Even though I was kind of programmed to hate the Lakers and whatnot. There's some there's something very different about about Kobe about his life his legacy and about who? He was as person far beyond his skill in his talent. And I know that there's a lot of people grieving right now and my heart goes out to all the families of the nine people that were killed in the helicopter crash It's really just. It's really heartbreaking to me That happened not that far from where I live in La To know that life is so precious I mean already know that and I think on a regular basis but it just it felt so set in and just way too soon maybe it will take a really long time for anybody who makes sense of any of this by twenty acknowledged what a tragedy it was and send my heart out to anybody who is affected by it because icons and heroes they are flesh and blood and they're human beings just like the rest of us and though there are people who will criticize things that he did his personality or his actions. I am not exempt from that knowledge. Fully that this was a regular man with flaws. He was not an infallible hero but to disregard the impact that he's made on a lot of people's lives to inspire them and to educate them or give them a another way to look at things in a real way that drove people to want to be better and to strive for excellence and to respect somebody who was flawed but worked really hard to deal with those flaws and to work on his marriage and to be a good father and to be the best athlete and teammate that he could possibly be contribute. That's not lost on me and I need to be a Laker fan or even a Kobe. Fan to recognize that that's something that I think transcended a lot beyond the sport and beyond geography. And so. Yeah my heart is hurting very much. So as much as a lot of other fans out there sending you hugs and You know I'm definitely in reflection mode in in light of all of this. And the heart most heartbreaking that he That he went with his daughter owners are crying. This this isn't about the the crying part. It's just the love that he put into John to the other three girls. He loves so deeply and as a man as an icon as an athlete where people question all the time about having sons in who'd carry on his legacy. He was so proud to be a dad of girls and he put so much time and energy investment into the WNBA and into his girls Lives in their sports and just their interests and creating the Mamba Academy really like coaching his daughter and believing in her not just because he's her dad because he saw raw talent and he saw her drive in her ambition and her dreams like that is just it's breathtaking to me. I didn't grow up with I grew up in a very double standard household. Get with my own. Asian masculine Father Right. Like there's a lot of things that are relevant to all of us whether you again whether we cared about the sport or not so it breaks my heart that they're gone and I've just however energetically I can send this out into the world to send love to Vanessa right to Kobe's wife and to the rest of his girls. I cannot even fathom what that must be like an how to experience that kind of loss. But I'm putting that out into the airwaves. I'm sending love sending to the sending love to the again to the families of all nine people who perished on that helicopter crash leading the pilot like everybody is such a tragedy and let it be a reminder that life is short and that our voices and our actions again for eight hundred million time. If you're a fan of this podcast it does matter your choices matter. Your Voice Matters Your dreams matter your vision for things that could and would be better matter and we is a detriment to the entire universe if you don't take action on that and value that and carry that forward and so in light of that you know. There's a part of me unexpectedly. That's been really affected by this. By this dust by the father and daughter bond that it was so beautifully shining for the world to witness and be inspired by the love that he had for his family and the love that they have for him as a father and husband. I will not I don't feel like that's something I'll take lightly. I never did take lightly but even further. It's been reinforced into my life. And into this podcast and everything that I wanNA make input out into the world Maybe honestly this is part of my intro. But it'd be interesting to hear more thoughts from super fans or like have another episode because I am listening a lot more already actually listened to motivational speeches by Kobe. And I was always very intrigued by him. Get even though. I didn't care about the sport but just his attitude towards life and his work ethic. I've been inspired by quite a bit. He's one of one of many people that has given me that fire so I would love to hear more from people in reflect on what other people learn from him. I think that it's worth sharing. And so maybe there will be future episode to talk about what that mob mentality is. I think it would be a really interesting topic And Conversation and yeah recipes. Kobe Recipes Gina and recipes to all the seven others who passed and Everybody be the best person that you can be and together. We're GONNA go to difficult strange places in life and I've definitely been going through it myself and I'm filled with hope and with gratitude and also before and the INTRO WANNA thank everybody who reached out to me in light of My break up with Kenji. I kind of didn't even remember what I shared in that podcast but I really listened to. It was kind of this out of body experience. Like oh my gosh. I said all that so weird process but I'm just so overwhelmed with gratitude by all the care that people are sharing and that's honestly what gives me a lot of purpose and hope for the world in light of the fact that there is tragedy there is evil there is indifference All which frightened me. But we do this okay. We got this. The worst thing that can happen is when good people do not think so. This has let this be fueled in a reminder Whoever you are go to those weird places go to those dark places survive him. Come out with hope. Learn something grow and we'll keep moving forward. This is a longer intro than I expected. I wanted to pay my respects and send love out and set the set the stage because all these conversations are meant for us to think in new ways and think deeper with more empathy and compassion and purpose so enjoy the episode.
