"Ago now that that I'd worked with a female director every eighteen months to be a part of actively changing the statistics in my own small way but By making taking that. Pledge Iheart other women do that and I think that happened but I've digital such as genuine interest there you know I was fourteen minutes. I met Jane Dan Campion and she lined me and molding in a particular way. And I think I've just always thought out. I've grown up in a family that got game and female threads. So everything you know. We were all. I have a sister on cousin to the all of us. There's a huge seamounts red trout whole family and I started them just very calm. Yeah so when you hear about when you hear about like an exciting female director or someone who's breaking movies immediately and say okay. Let's find something to do together No not that not the up front more. It's far more it happens. You know but I but director in general in on drawn to gesture at is that are. You're out of the box or working in particular white. You know what we your ghosts and Gossiping Sandler Intruder from trae Air and Stanley Kubrick group break and As floor men and Stephen Dole jury. And you know these are San Mendez either. Some of the greatest directors the DNR and finial off in now in the world. So it's kind of amazing. I just love being around great minds and they all who brings something different Atta view. Yeah and I've loved that an deal at this stage being because but I always thought out. Yeah well it's such a running through line and you were telling Krista Smith and our cover story you said like performance art and not conforming to what everyone expects of you and I wonder if that's if that impulse buy oh you got these directors you find directors who are really powerful on their own and they're gonNA say no no no. I'm GonNa make you do this thing that you don't think you're going to find career this thing as as we all know it I mean Yes for big little lies producing the primarily. The direct is accusing the actor. We're not choosing men so I'm being you know. And they ultimately hold hold the power because they go yes. I'M GONNA directed US and I'm GONNA leave and you're gonna be beyond the my guidon so that the thrust is always very much to do with them choosing either to work with me or or taking me out on on conmen so and I know a lot of direct. Just 'cause I watch a lot of our films and just growing up in that world and I've always we sort that out. Yeah so that's how I've ended up here in this very weird wind. We career Roy Moore raising no rhyme the reason to it. It really doesn't lifted because God but that's okay is I think working with great directors. Pretty good reason. Yeah that would probably be the strongest pull. But then at times I've been drawn to a cat like there's there's other times when I'm just or even gone and sort out places to resist because I wanted to explore the world as well and then you know I worked with the Korean. You know what I call the Korean mosque stop and he. He passed it to work with. So they're all dif- adrenaline hurt 'til they went on to and worked with him in the dozen On the Jerry border and all in writing hamels them so people are like what. You're doing Brian that a lot of the adventure probably adventure so yeah I know. I'm going to run out of time but I have to ask. It's just quickly about bombshell about both Gretchen. Carlson and Naomi Watts since you both played her. And I know that Gretchen. Carlson can't talk too much about Fox News because of her NDA. But I'm curious. Here's if you've talked to Naomi Watts at all. And then. Maybe what either of you learned about Gretchen and in the process of that I can you believe to about it and we talk about Al Lives. We talk about Trying to talk about where we spending Christmas. We've not I mean when she Originally doing it. Would you said all right okay. But then that was kind of it. I was Finishing big little lies. And then I went straight into Gretchen and and And it was sort of just Jay called me up in Charlotte as and it was more about where I was just like. Okay quick I got to make a decision about whether I'm GonNa do this or not And Ashley Mel. WHO said to me? Yeah you should play her and which I talked about. 'cause she was like he's gotTa and Shelley signed. Thanks Kelli such a with a very different originally Russell cars also one of my good friends. So now we're off doing nothing but we never really talked about having even talk awful about it. Is that something you do. You have to separate work from life that way sometimes is it better just have friends who you might be actors but you can keep it separate. We don't do it perfectly. I think it gets just because that's we've all grown up together and so probably that's the basis that the original genuine basis or why rural friends decades is later. WHO said that? He's in really the thrust of the relationship it will. Yeah you know we went to school together. We've all been and a whole. It's a whole different life. It's not really in relation to the work so it's different from the friendship you have with Reese Witherspoon yeah race. I didn't go to school with open. Go get her so much so you have a friendship that includes work but with Russell Crowe maybe exist each other and now friendship started before the works format with well. That's that's sounds like a pretty great Good Recipe and recipe for For how to yeah. And then you've got Josh. We should work together But it's very different when you've been teenagers and you've grown up together. That's a very very different projector and you know each other parents and you know each other see blames you grow. You know I mean the whole thing is so different because we're so brains and each other's Personalized but its purpose. That's why that you know I. My Dad knew all. Oh you know Russell and May and my sister and I mean we're all so intertwined seem like Australia's very small country when everyone knows each other it's not about the particular people bustle on Baker. You know about that gone like that. Not all of us. Yeah like the other John that happened but I was really excited to quit shot. Leaf Michael on bombshell. 'CAUSE I was like I love that this is the women who are the story told. Yeah you've given me more time than I asked for so thank you so much. Thank you all right. Well thank you so much that we have a great day. Bye Bye that does it for this little Goldman. Thank you for listening. "Is so Saturday you have <hes> some new additions to the event. One is the Kirby Kaas play cat walk and tell us more about that so you know I have the biggest soft spot for possibly. I've never crossed plate myself. I think the most that I've done is dressed up for Halloween. You know as a grownup <hes> but this year you know especially as the cost play the plus size cost play world is growing. I wanted to you <hes> make sure that the that community knew that they were invited and welcomed as well and so this year we're going to do like a little cat. Walk walk off where <hes> <hes> the class players will be able to show off their work right show off. You know their character their work what they're doing. I mean because like when you really look at like some of the work that folks put into it. It's so innovative it's so creative and they deserve to be acknowledge. <hes> and then following that you have the rise and growth of big and tall fashion now is that a panel discussion for rising what ties the rise and growth of big and tall fashion is that a panel discussion is a panel discussion <hes> and then how to make and create your own Lane and plus size bashing. That's a panel discussion as well <hes>. I believe so whatever we we've changed it up just a little bit got it and we actually we actually <hes> <hes> sharing those details later. I'm today actually oh perfect and so Sunday. We need more visibility. The rise of plus is in media. That's that would be a panel discussion as well correct Iraq so so the announcements are the people who are GonNa be on because we don't know all of the panelists yet right <hes> we actually do for the most part we're just waiting on. We have a one more celebrity that we're waiting on and I we in just about clothes and just want that income strive. We will be sharing that information with you guys and <hes> v._I._p.. Coffee and conversations with Tasha cobbs. Tell me a little bit about how there's going to be set up so this is for our V._I._p.. Ticket holders so this is not like a breakfast. This is like a <hes> a literal <hes> you know grab a cup of coffee. Sit Down and listen. We're going to do a Q. and A. Conversation Conversation and have a little bit of a conversation with <hes> with Tasha cobbs about her journey right and as we go through that we'll be able to talk about <hes> you know how you got to where she is <hes> what she she's launched two different brands since <hes>. She's wants to different brands <hes> one being like a sunglasses eyewear company in her second her active wear line so we're gonNA talk a little bit about that and. And then <hes> <hes> a little bit of Q. and A. and then the doors will open okay so that's before the expo even starts that's in the morning <hes> and and then how to navigate the plus size fashion Ashen seen. This should be a popular panel because I'm always asked that question how do I how do I break in to the plus size scene because to the outside looking in sometimes. It looks like it's a whole bunch of clicks that you can't break through well. You know that's GonNa be you know quick. They're always going to be wherever you go and I think it's just about the perspective and the way that you choose to kind of look at things so in this particular space what this particular situation we will actually have <hes> <hes> a couple of different types of people in fashion. Speak specifically to this topic so this is GonNa be a little a little fun <hes> this is going to be <hes> Djabel. N This is GonNa be no actually yeah. This is the style when right so yeah. This is Jay Berlin. This is <hes> Oh my God. I totally forgot that we have <hes> we also also have a Princess Bella Carla Toby Prince's Bella <hes> also speaking as well <hes> so she's GonNa be speaking at Expo this year too but for the style panel we will have <hes> <hes> Jabil Elon Ashley Mel Tipton <hes> I believe Nikki Daniels as well so people who've had different very UN Orthodox ways and how they created their own rate and how they've levers different platforms around them. I'm into creating you know in in creating their spaces nice and so this year on the panel's going to be in separate rooms or is that going to be on the main stage right on the stage page perfect and so let's give a shout out to some of yours sponsors you mentioned one of the <hes> blogger mastermind but who else is helping out <hes> make this event happen. Well let me let me pull it. Make sure I don't forget anybody but we have <hes> eloquently. We have <hes> let me you. I feel like I'm like caught off guard. I'm like wait. Let me make sure I get everybody <hes> <hes> because we also just got in anthropology which we haven't formally announced that <hes> they just came on board <hes> so let's see make sure I get to everybody so we have <hes> <hes> big big fashion to figure Izzo Natural City Chic Anthropology Eloquent Media Vine Pasi and Ella in Oak Nice and so as you said some new sponsors are still being announced so is it too late to be a sponsor. If you're listening and you WANNA be involved we could figure out a way to make it work with you. You just need to check right right and so less shot out some of your team. That helps make this even happen to. I'm like I actually didn't do it with like I. I have such an amazing dope team so like let's see let's start with Kristen and Kristen has actually my cousin but she is like the buck stops with her literally <hes> <hes> and then we have <hes> Kendra <hes> who is our production manager. We have brandy on logistics from be memorable events we have US entire TESTA measure whose over our volunteers pepper from pretty plus pets whose over our bloggers and our media. We have <hes> Reggie from <hes> Reggie. He is our backstage coordinator we on T. G.. Who is the registration just straight you know Francis over the vendors? We have my mom who's over the shop P._C._S.. It's a family affair right. We have got herk who are in our social team. <hes> I feel like I'm missing. Oh we have cameras on from <hes> Social Butterfly whose over our speakers like we have a nice healthy team. Yes and that's why the event is so successful because you have. <hes> a team behind you it'd be hard to do everything on your own the bigger and bigger you get you need a team of course and <hes> now. You also usually have a lot of volunteers at the event. Are you still looking for volunteers. We are all set with volunteers. We're totally also volunteers. So what about if someone wants to be a vendor that closed closed off to that it's close to Nice so the only opportunity left would be sponsorship and that's it everything else is set in stone yes and so <hes> I know tickets are still available online. Will they be available after door. The day of the yes yeah he hand but massage the Expo You <unk> Half T._C.. F- crew's coming up.
