"Why I wake up every morning and I thank the lord And like I say all the time I'm not using his name in vain I thank the lord I am not a liberal lunatic It's not just the Pino the president name only who can't stand you if you're a first responder or a police officer who puts your life on the line You have natural immunity many of you now but they want you to get jabbed anyway where you will get the hell out of your job He doesn't care This president really can't stand you but usually as a prop The fact that he even showed up at the law enforcement memorial in the capital is a disgrace He should have been booed off the stage He's not much of a clown and I mean that because he's a clown He's a clown he can't stand you He is actively hurting you and your profession Every moment he's in The White House is Joker But did you catch it at the end How the audience thinks this is hilarious They think this is great They're clapping applauding Yeah like it's the Arsenio Hall show I'm a pretty woman Remember that movie When I did still watch movies that actually happened in pretty woman At the polo game The audience thinks it's great Should they be let go Oh yeah yes and yes they should Thank God every day you're not one of these liberal crazy lunatic people And Biden will not say something else later They didn't put it in a clip But he went on to say later Something so ridiculous that even by the very low standards we have for this rotting bag of bones in The White House the Pino That even by his standards was so callous and not thought out I had to shake my head He said well what do you think you have the right to go and kill people spreading the virus around Which is ironic because that standard doesn't apply to the flu To HIV to tuberculosis or other infectious diseases He only seems to have applied it to coronavirus Ironically the disease we know the least about because it's a political weapon for him to stick it to the cops he hates and can't stand He does He does but you don't like that one Aren't you feelings Oh come on Dan he doesn't hate the cops Really He wants some fired Fired for doing their jobs Putting their lives on the line and their butts on the line When every one else was home and quarantine trying to stay safe they were out there in the streets He wants you fired But you think he likes you.

"Yes we all agree on that friend by the way that face is that friend who wants to walk in and start something. She's afraid who just wants to fight about something. Being in the problem is this is the of it. She was the ambassador to nebula. I would understand this if she had the direct line. V non girl the twenty century and she went up there and talk to somebody. How it'd be great detail. Medicine know the problem is. Do you think aliens call us. Humans are do they call it something else who even knows because we haven't met one but look. I do think that people very firmly believe that there other life forces people around my husband. Do you think that they're ailey extraterrestrial. Their extras rush shoes. I think that the aliens the ufo's that we have been seeing have been billionaires from other plants. They're like oh. Let's go check on earth because we have money we have. We have nothing to do with it. So i think they've been common seeing us looking at us doing the damn thing and then going back. I just however you can't call some derogatory when somebody has untold derogatory. I can't believe we even have this conversation. Now it's like. I don't even know what we're yeah it's It's very easy. It wasn't mine but i'm she is very into this and she should continue with the problem. Is that it starts to discredit them. It makes them seem as if the things that they're passionate about. Actually don't have any ground to like standoff because it's like if if they are going to start saying that aliens need this then what's next because now i'm not gonna trust anything that's coming out of their mouth and so thank you switching here got demon twitch get your ass in here. We have a live in studio and karamoko is challenging him to a dance off. Do not miss it. I i did not know doing that. Switch has been ellen's right hand man for years and now the man would all the moves is proving he's an amazing host to please welcome twit citizen three black men. I say this is nice by the way this is good. Say doing salute most absolutely great. We're going to get to your new show but we gotta talk. It's the last season of ellen ben with her since two thousand fourteen. What are you going to miss the most honest among many things. Obviously we've we've really established quite the family over there by the then my family I'm gonna miss this. The last man like the labs and all of these classic times that that i think are synonymous with the show right Getting together and having last dancing to the same songs together but then also just being inspired by the acts of everyday people. You know what i'm saying and for me that was one of my biggest takeaways of working with and getting to know ellen as a friend obviously ellen is like like mega superstar but at the end of the day back also see how hands on she is how tedious she is about everything that goes goes on as far as like the segments and the jokes and things like that. So it's like no matter what level you're at you still have to be in the driver seat. Yeah you know what. I'm saying. Like and respect. I'm scared for ellen. I'm scared allen because ellen for me is one of those people where i feel like she runs at one hundred and that's where she's best that when she has things to do when ellen gets home after retiring and be like. She's going to be like what i overdid it. She's going to go house exactly what who is going to be even more one hundred outside of this show is you. I'm telling you right now. We all need this man to take ellen spot twitch in daytime kitchen daytime. y'all i gotta ask with a lot of stars you had so many iconic people on the show who is your favorite. Tv with why banks lead back. I'll say this we just had arsenio hall soest and that was just such a full circle moment for me. I was on star..

Chris tucker did not know he was going to see me yesterday. That's my brother. We don't breath before we did not know he's going to see each other. I didn't even know i was going to be. I mean i do. I go be down there. But he didn't know but anyway he was like i gotta show you my phone. I cannot make this up. We might have been having a couple of beverages. Maybe maybe not maybe third quarter. We realized ms the fourth quarter. Maybe we should go back to our luxury seats. You know how much again so we backed ash shannon campaign and doing what we do. Chris tucker shows me on his phone pitchers day. He took me on tv the he sent to his barber because he wants to get his haircut. Tv's barber say dude. Do whatever whatever that is on my head. "To watch the daily show every day thinking that oh old. Black people are suffering every day. And there's no other existence for a black person illman. Black people have had to exist in a world where there is the paradox of their oppression and also the resilience of the joy. And so i've existed like that for a long time you have existed like that for a long time. My family family's existed. My people have existed like that. And so jen and i always laugh when she waste says jewish people have also existed like that no jewish people for a long time of existed in world where there was a constant threat to them as a people but then they found themselves in huma as well and that is a paradox. And that's when we both enjoy and so we're constantly creating within that realm. We're going yeah. This is terrifying. Yeah this is. Gary this is funny. This is serious. This is whatever trying to make a great show a show that i think speaks to the complexities of us as human beings and also engages in those some complexity in our audience. Because i don't want anybody to be one thing. I don't want you to be only about politics. In washington dc. I don't want you to be only about issues. I don't want you to be only about jokes. No one person should be only about anything. Let's laugh let's be serious that's cry. Let's think that's enjoy that's be and then we're trying to use comedy as the tool to keep people lifted up because i don't want you to watch the show and get depressed. I think there's more than enough depressing stuff in the world. But but like any compensation like you and i as if we talk the whole time you know we can have. We can have serious conversations that get deep and they can get hard and but man that loft that lifts you out of it afterwards. You know that's the pressure release every single time. and so. that's that's what i don't take for. Granted is is is the power of a loft to remind you of the place that you wish to be and and and so. That's what the room is with the rights with the team and so whether it's on the technical side whether it's on the creative side with its on the producing side. I'm always relying on people to help me. Keep the thing moving forward because i cannot be everywhere at all times and so i have to make sure that i have people who i trust to do the job better than i would. I don't have my glasses but check this out in twenty twenty the daily show with trevor noah was nominated for six nominations tying the franchise record for most nominations than a year. The most since you've become host in addition to the outstanding writer for variety series and outstanding director for a variety series. Nominations marked the first time. The show has received these nights under your leadership. You want a stick around and in fact. This is amazing. It really is amazing. But i but i i Am an everybody else on the back in the team you know but with their consent of course yes. I told the team from day one. I said look. This is going to be a lot of this. Process would feels like we grinding. In the doc. I put my team on the back from the rights to the producers to everybody who makes the show ever puts this show together. I pat them on the back. Because i go guys. Our number one award is the people who watch the show. Please don't ever forget that. I don't want us to be a critical darling and not connect with the person who's a who's on the streets you know when i'm walking down the streets. Everyone from like a woman who's driving a ups van to some guy on the subway to someone who's driving bmw. They'll say hey. I watch the daily show. Thank you for that. That was my segment. I enjoyed that moment. Thank you for doing that with its kids. Were twelve years old. They grandparents will sixty. I've had those people say. Oh thank you for what you're doing on the daily show. I appreciate that moment. i appreciate it. What you said about the asian community. Nobody else was saying anything and you guys stepped up and we appreciate that because you have a platform. Thank you for speaking up about police brutality. Thank you for speaking up to these issues. Thanks sometimes for just making me laugh. Because i was having a hard day. That for me is the ultimate award. Don't get me wrong. You love the accolades. I appreciate the accolades. Never take that for granted. But i also don't forget the meaningful nature of who you're creating the show four and that is human beings who are consuming. It's giving us their time. Which i really really really appreciates dude. I know all of that said do you feel what's in the air what you've been doing in the last year and a half. I think you're about to become a critical darlene as you say i just hope you'll remember me and let me keep your emmys at my house because this coming semi even when i'm a prince my friend you'll still be my front right on right on of i would talk to you forever but i'm old and i have to go do that my friend. You're not as old as you say you are But thank you man. I know real i just wanna take a moment to say thank you. You know because. I i honestly don't believe that that any journey is undertaken alone. You know people like using the term. Self-made i go in order to be self made. Nothing had to exist. Before that i'd go. I'm not self-made. I made by all of the selfs who are selfless before i came along and so for you i say thank you man because senio hall is one of those people. I saw you on tv. I didn't even think about how momentous that is. I was just like yeah. I like that guy. I like those jokes. I like that hair like those people. Maybe i could do that. And you know what maybe could my mom call me before i left the house and she says where are you going. I said i'm going to talk to. Trevor noah as he said what channel is it going to be on say i like him enough for it not even have to be on tv. I appreciate this man. This has been a lot of fun. Thank you ma'am thank you so much..

"That's also something that's been that's been liberating are. It was like i remember when i met. I met a young kid. Maybe like twelve years old with his mom. And i think i was in queens or somewhere and he bumped into me in the street and he's like hey man are you. Trevor noah was like yeah and he recognized me even though i had my mosque on and he said oh man. I'm such a big fan of most. He loves your show. And i let him watch it. Even though it's eight and you know he loves the loves politics that loves this and then he said man. It's so cool that like you do in late night and you do in the show and like talk an obama and then we've all got afros and this kid little effort was well you know he was just so happy and his mom said to me. She was like yeah man. She's like he was so happy. When you grew africa's he couldn't cut his hand. You couldn't cut your hair and now here you both were in this world with afros and i didn't realize how long it had been since i love myself to grow my hair because for so long i'd also adopted the ideas realizing of what professional hair looks like. Well that's nice. But when are you going to look respectable. Trevor when are you gonna go back to business hair. What is business hair. What does that mean. And so i even had to question mount conditioning to understand these things you know does. Does this determine what conversation i can and cannot have with you know for so for so many conversations in america and in many parts of the world why a person is treated the way they are is often down to how they addressed. Why did cops do that to him. While he was wearing a hoodie you never know with a hoodie. And it's like the hoodie. And so i don't know maybe there's a part of me. That defiantly goes yeah. You know what. I i want to interview the president of the united states wearing a hoodie. You know. I want to talk to leaders. I wanna talk to business executives. I wanna talk to the most powerful people wearing a hoodie because a lot of people out there who these and a lot of those people are judged because they wear hoodies highway hoodies. And so i go. You know what little hoodie being a space. Where doesn't necessarily be long until it does nip the hair be in space. That doesn't belong until the does and that became something that i thought of doing because i was just like yemen. This is who i am. I was like if you don't accept me for who i am then. I don't want you to accept me. And so that's been really liberating journey to be on as a human being. And i think the pandemic stripped a lot of people of that pump and ceremony. You know we're at home in sweats. Compu- fancy. I know how you live now. I see the trash behind. You and i think that's a good thing. I think it's a little bit of society that's been you know. A little bit of the sheen on the varnish has been taken off we see each other a little bit more for better and for worse and so for myself. I don't know that. I'll go back to the suits and the leather shoes. And if i do. I do and if i don't i don't but i will no longer think that this is something i have to do. You know this is not a. This is not a measure of professionalism. I can do my job regardless of how you see me. I can do it. And so s. Going back to the studio. I mean you know i. I have a few surprises my sleeve as to what that looks like. You know. i'm working on a few things with the team. And we really excited. Because i want it to be intentional. You know voice people. Everyone goes like when are you going back. Are you going back. Where are you going back. And said i'm never going back. I'm only moving forward when i was doing it. Man i remember coming out in this purple jacket with ripped jeans and they called an organization called maggot. I think the organization was called and they did focus groups to show me that america didn't want me and ripped jeans. You know. I remember how important that was. How has the daily show been for you. As far as controlling you or approving or disapproving. How how they dealt with you during this pandemic well. The great thing is there is no the daily show myself and my team. There is no overlord in that regard. There's nobody who who looks over us. Editorially or no you know. We have a fact checker to make sure that. What we're saying is factually correct. You know ironically with a comedy show that has a fact checker and then there's so many new shows that just say whatever they want but yeah we do. We have a fact checker. And that's the main thing we focus on. I'm still trying to make sure that represents who i am. And so you know send you you know me. I'm pretty certain when you watch the show. You're like yeah. This is trevor. He's performing but this is trevor. You don't like who is this guy. It's pretty much me. And so i've been really lucky that the that comedy central has gone. No we trust you go ahead. We trust you do it. You know so. They don't go dress like this. Don't dress like that your hair. You know. They just go. We trust you do this thing. And due to the best of your ability and so what that has enabled me to do is succeed by my own sword or die by my own sword and that's been liberating and frightening at the same time and i love it. I was passing him all the other day. And i had a strange memory. I looked up at this building. And it said sears. When i was little those building say sears and roebuck because those two names were locked together. You couldn't have one without the other. You've mentioned your executive producer a couple times. How important is that team. My team helps me to not make the wrong decisions. I think that's what a great team is. Also helping you do. I don't think every decision i have is correct and thankfully my team. Sometimes be like whoa. That's completely wrong. I'm like You think so that terrible like okay you know. I'm not going to be perfect every single day. No do i wish to be. And that's what's nice about. Having a team is that we trust each other and trying to do something together to you and your ep argue disagree and when you disagree how do you decide what goes on the air gentleman's flange tonight we don't argue that much so as the showrunner and surprisingly we have very similar taste. I heard the same joke where we go making the show for people rights. And she's like yeah we make him the show for people and that's how much we're making the show for people. Sometimes i have a few writers or to politics. You know they get too deep into the politics they forget that making the show for the people but they're super smart and the great and i go like what were we gonna bring that back a little bit you know. Some of my rights is only wanna tell jokes. they don't want to go into anything deep. And that's fine as well. Let's let's add a bit of brevity into this thing and let's have a conversation but in terms of with myself and jen. I'm very lucky that we. I think that's why we work. Well together is we. We both love to love. We both love to have meaningful conversations and we both like to create a good show. You know. don't want you to watch the daily show every day thinking that oh old. Black people are suffering every day. And there's no other existence for a black person illman..

"Priority because earth is our priority at fedex. We knew sustainability. Means a lot to you and we feel the same way. Our goal is to be carbon neutral by twenty forty. We call it priority earth fedex. Were now meets next. You know your show to a fan. Your show is kind of like friends. You have this family this group of friends you know you have joey and rachel you do say jordan. I knew roy because he's a standup dizzy. Ronnie mike talk about your team. Your little comedy family your correspondents. That's something that the daily show does very well. Not every late night hosts has that family of friends. Oh yeah that's that's one of the things that i loved and i adopted from john stewart. You know that was the the relationship that you can create with people who have differing points of views and the ability to showcase different points of views or ideas on your show. You know i myself. As trevor was a contributor i came on the show and i would contribute my opinion to the daily show and john stewart would be as my foil and so one thing i loved was that relationship and so i wanted to continuously create that and so you know that that that that was the team and and so. We've had new additions to the team. But roy has been there from the very beginning from day one. I remember watching comedy. And i was called roy out like come on out to new york for an audition and he came out on the night before he was doing a set of the comedy cellar and i went to watch him and immediately after the. You've got the job and he's like but i'm gonna come to the addition to ours. Yeah you'll come with you got the job. Same thing happened with michael kosta. I went out to. La is him performing us guys. Got the job. And that was one of those instances where with michael costa executive producer. Jeff who was like this guy special house like is he though. She's like this guy special man he's got something and i happened to be in la. And so i went to the comedy clubs to watch him. He didn't even know i was there. I was like all right. This guy's got it. let's go you know. And so all of these people have been interesting in the way we come to meet them. How i come to know them as human beings ronnie chang. I met in edinburgh scotland doing a comedy festival. That's how i met. Ronnie chang. And i was like. This dude is one of the craziest funny people i've ever met. And i remember saint-german scotland. When i don't know how but one day i hope i get to work with you and so let me get your number. And let's see the world takes us. And then i think two or three years later he got a call from me saying yo. Do you wanna try something crazy. And then ronnie did and he joined the show and so the journey has been wonderful. You know dessi lighted who's just become like one of my bulwarks. On the shows which i know she can smash anything she. She's one of the most talented performers and actresses. I've ever come across. You know dul say one of the smartest people fluent in spanish all of the people on the show have the about them. There's a different element that they used to touch the show with. And i really appreciate that. Because i think it makes the show a little bit more dynamic in that. It's not always trevor. Just telling you what he thinks or how he sees the world. I've got all of these correspondents and my team. And my family as you say where they can also give an opinion and we can have a fight as friends and we can talk about what we were experiencing in the world. Does your correspondents. Because i know a stand up i think yeah do they. All come in the writer's room. Do they participate in all that stuff. No they will. They will so. They'll they participate. Oftentimes they will be the the the originator of the idea or if it comes together we around. We'll have an idea and then they will go with writers and they will continuously punch it up and writes it for themselves. They'll create the thing that they will then end up putting on screen. And so i've. I've always been really focused on making sure that correspondents are comfortable with what they are portraying on scene because it's politics i don't want somebody going on screen and then just you know selling themselves down the river. No i want you to be confident in what you're saying and so you know. Even if you're playing an arch character played the way you'd like to play it. Let's get this thing going and let's let's let me give you the best possible platform in the same way that i was afforded. Here's something i've noticed as a comic and as a fan but first of all. Where are you sitting. Where is that if we turn the camera around. That's the corner of your apartment. What is that. Yeah this is. This is a corner little spot in my apartment where i had this place because i wanted to play video games here and then read books here and i was like. I want my little nook to do that. By tiny little space in new york was just like my little sanctuary and the pandemic hits. And then i was going around my apartment looking for places that didn't have an echo. Didn't have like just like sound like sirens bouncing of windows. Or you know what i mean. And then i was like oh i guess i guess i can give up like my little reading my little sanctuary Maybe it's partially. Because this is where i feel the safest this is where i feel cozy in my vibe and this is where i feel like it's me and you know that's all it is it's me and it's you there's nothing else that's happening here and and so. Yeah that's that's how this little spot came to be and it's tiny. It'll and it's cramped and i like it because it makes me go like no this is. This is the intimacy i'm looking for. You're gonna miss those hoodies when you have to go back go back. When do you put on the suit and the leather shoes and go back. I might never. I might never put on the suit over neither shoes or anything. I don't know you know that..

"Or do same. It was about black hair yeah. I've never seen anybody mess with dead until you did. Are you complemented by that. Or i would become petty duke could be mad but but how do you see that when you look and you say hey. I did that already you know. How does that feel. I feel like every conversation has continuously happening and you all just jump into it at a specific place and time. There is no idea that i've had in. And around a compensation. That's an issue that i would ever claim as my own police brutality. That was around long before me. And i hope it won't be around long after i am gone. You know black. People being discriminated against in the workplace on society. That was around long before me. And i hope it won't be around long after i'm gone. Women experiencing being unsafe with us in a work environment win a home environmental or even public. That was around long before me. And i hope it won't be around long after i am gone. I think what we're constantly doing is tapping in and having these conversations. And so maybe in this moment in time there on moments where i might have broached the topic i but man. I hope everybody gets into the conversation. 'cause i'm i'm not here for the kudos of that. I do not care for that. I want us to have the conversation. Otherwise i'm just that one person screaming on the street corner the thousand people screaming on a street corner. Well that's a moment of change. And so you know. I i remember. One of my favorite stories was Martin luther king junior. When he went down to selma and he for the life of him could not get black people to march with him he could not and they were like yo. We're afraid of you martin. They would like these white folks. Do not like you. They do not like what you represent and you bringing trouble hits by coming in involving us in this thing and he was like what you're oppressed. They're like yeah we were oppressed. We're gonna get more pressed if we do this thing with you. And it was interesting to me to see how he had to get them involved in the conversation he had to give them to march and then it was the kids who ended up watching the kids who ended up coming out in full force and then some of the parents were angered at the kids. Were involved in. All of this was happening. And then you started seeing it around the country in these things. And i don't think anybody anybody should wish to claim any type of movement or anything. You should try to be a leader. Definitely you should try to lead you to try to create conversation but for me honestly i've never gone That's that's the thing. I don't think of it like that in that way when it's an issue you know when it's a joke as a comedian. Don't get me wrong. Comedians always be like thousand joke on. That was my premise. You know better than anyone you know i used to. I remember when chris rock came to south africa in. I think it was like twenty fourteen. Maybe two thousand thirteen for his first tour in south africa. And i'll never forget this. I was in a row of comedians. My best friend sitting there and chris rock went into a bit that my friend had been writing for like six months. And i turned. You know chris rock stole your joke and we started laughing so hard. Because we chris rock didn't steal his joke but he was devastated. Because he's like now. The chris rock has done it he could never do it. And we understand as comedians. We love you you get out is like yeah man. Someone has an idea. you have an idea. There's a premise. And so on and so forth. That's the kind of thing where comedians will be like. Oh man angry that you said that i wanted to say it or there's a thing when it comes to issues. I hope everybody's talking about it. I hope i'm not the first. But i more won't most certainly hope that i'm not last. It's nice to know that we were i. Don't get me wrong. But i'm more than happy that somebody else is doing. Its second or third or fourth. I'm more than happy because at the end of the day. That's what you hope will happen with issues with new stories. We're going to do them with issues..
Harry and Meghan detail royal struggles, from discussions of baby's skin tone to suicidal thoughts
"Hey we're talking about meghan. Markle's interview with oprah last night. Was she contemplated ending things at one point joy. I missed getting back to you. What what is it. You wanted to say well. No i was just going to comment on the mental illness. Part first of all. It's very serious as sarah be said before you you when anybody says anything about suicide they immediately got to go to the doctor. But i have been in therapy many years myself. It's not like i come from a family that says hey my daughter's in therapy isn't a degrade thing. Okay but i did not have a family. Would you know we vilify me and telling me i was crazy either so i did it and i got better. We're talking about a family whose motto is. Keep calm and carry on and don't go to therapy and a stiff upper lip so the girl was in trouble. She was in trouble and there was nobody to really guide her or help her and that that is a sad. A sad thing you now. That's a sad thing. i mean. Look at andrea. If anybody needs therapy and that for kochta family it's andrew but is he going now and are they saying anything about him not a word about him and yet they'll they'll let the tabloid press go to town on this poor girl and say that she's a bully or whatever else they have to do to save their behinds get that deputize bear after andrew is one of their. That was really striking to me. Actually i'm joy to your point that they have protected so many other members of the royal family but refused to protect her during the interview. She said this she said they. They were willing to lie to protect other members of the family but they weren't willing to tell the truth to protect me and my husband And that speaks volumes about the lack of protection that she had from within the family and for me and when she also said that the turning point of the beginning of the character assassination was that. Kate made her cry on the eve of her wedding day. Because kate didn't like the dresses or something about the bride's maid's dresses that her children were going to wear. But rather than that story come out. The story was flipped and megan was made out to seem like she may cry. And that weaponization of a white woman's tears is something that we see so often in history that weaponization of the white fragility against a woman of color or man of color. That really struck me. That really changed the tone. I think of their relationship. Because if you think about it. Megan then was put up there like that. Racial trope that we all see the angry aggressive black. The frail white woman. Cry we sunny. It's not just just about race. Which i agree with you. It's also the fact that kate is married to the next king of england after charles and this girl is how many how many people have to die before he becomes k. Harry's one more thing now yes yes that to the most function. Megan him with jerry person in the family. Let me finish this sentence. The highest functioning person in a family is the one that goes to therapy. Remember that and look around and you'll see that that's true and this girl was the highest functioning member of that of that crazy family. That's what we're looking. Also reminded them of princess diana and how good she was at everything she did. And that overshadow. The person who was lined up for the job

'Coming 2 America' Goes Heavy On Nostalgia
"Too heavily on nostalgia. Unless you're a huge fan of Eddie Murphy's classic 1988 film coming to America, and lots of people are there's not going to be a lot for you, and it's less than inspired sequel Coming to America. We celebrated her 30 years absolute and prosperity. 30 Years of service. Well, great nation on 30 Years off Delicious fast food. The new film begins with Murphy's Prince Akeem Joe Fair, opening a fast food restaurant called McDowell's in the African Country of Amanda Devote ease of the first movie. No. This chain is owned by Akin's American father in law, played by John Amos, who denies his business is in any way a rip off of another well known burger joint. They've got egg mcmuffins way that a mixed up in this way are also celebrating my new beyond big mix burger, So there's no meat. There's no meat. Maybe we're getting much better with Pepsi Call Max here are subtle as a sledgehammer. This scene mostly gives us an excuse to see Amos and Louie Anderson, who also appeared in the first film, The Story of the original movie was a black centered fairytale. Murphy's a keen came to America, Queens, New York, of course, tow avoid an arranged marriage and find true love in the new movie. After the death of his father, King Akeem discovered he fathered a son unknowingly in America. Teams return to Queens brings one of the Sequels funniest moments when he revisits a local barber shop where movie magic allows Murphy and costar Arsenio Hall to play multiple parts. Just like in the first film can't be both famine and blood. Damn, Nelson Mandela and Winnie just discovered that I may have a bastard son here in this land conceived during my last visit. How much data supports you getting from the King pays no child support. No time for 30 years and you came back. You're the damn it. Comic Jermaine Fowler plays the sun. Lovell Johnson, who brings King a came home to meet his mother marry played by Saturday night Live alum Leslie Jones. My African I told you he was gonna come back. So you know this man. I definitely know this man. I know this man all the way live much as I love Leslie Jones, she and levels. Other American relatives, including Tracy Morgan, as his uncle Come off is uncomfortable stereotypes as King Akeem introduces his son to the moonda and pressures him into an arranged marriage. Comedy gets clunkier and more predictable, like a Mel Brooks style parody of the Black Panther of The Lion King and the first coming to America. Ultimately, this coming to America is mostly an excuse to bask in the glow of characters who's shown so much brighter and distinctively. 33 years ago. I'm Eric Deggans. "V N. If you are a fan or worry fan of the movie coming to America, Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall The sequel, the long awaited sequel. Gonna be coming out. It's actually gonna be streamed. They were gonna put it in theaters. But Paramount decided to sell it off to Amazon Prime of all places coming to the number to America instead of coming to the words t Or the word I should say, T o that will come out in March 5th of next year. So very much looking forward to that should be a good 1821 w TV. Enter 116 w T v. N. If you would like to get in on the action silo. Thank you. I actually I'm sorry, Jed, that somehow it jumped to you and Jen, you're on 16 TV and good morning. What about All right, all right. What I would like to say is, you know the I think Trump probably should concede the election, but it's the Democrats think they have won. They really are missing the boat. Truckers in the United States have the power to shut this country down. And they have the communication ability to do that nationwide. So if Green new deal and the things that truckers 9% of whom voted for Trump. Want to stop it. All they have to do is for one week shut the country down and the Democrats will have to come to the table and recent their idiotic agenda. That's all I've got to say. All right? We'll certainly do appreciate it. Yeah, I think it as far as Trump conceding, Uh, it's going to be a little bit before he does. That. Is it looking like he probably should. Yeah. I mean, I'm reasonable enough to say he probably should. But I'll let him do his legal battles. Because once those are exhausted, and he can't say anything else and again fair election is all I'm after. That's all I'm looking for. And, you know, shutting things down. Yeah, the truckers could shut things down. I got a buddy who was a trucker. And I know how important you guys are, too. What to our daily lives and bringing the goods in and from wherever they may be So again, thank you to all the truckers who are out there in the hall of it this morning because It's a lonely job, it really is, and it's my buddy. Danny. Just matter Fact I just talked with him the other day. I didn't want it don't even know where he was. He was all in the middle of the United States somewhere, and he's got a dog that travels with him. Gilly, That's his dog, and the dog is great. I'm sure a lot of truckers do something very similar to that. But God bless you guys. Because that Z. I don't know that I could do that. That'd be a lot of time and a lot of miles and I don't know that I want to Do anyhow. Silo. Thanks for hanging on your own 16 w T V and good morning. Hey, thanks for taking my call. My pleasure. Three will quick things if I can squeeze them all in your head. Last night, I had a dream where I was on a passenger train. These guys in black were walking among the people saying Papers. Have your papers, ready Papers, knees and I turned the guy next to me. And I said in my in Germany in the 19 forties, and he goes no, you're in Columbus under the wine, and that's after clear for you. If you don't have the proper papers proving you're an essential worker, you will be arrested and fined. And I woke up sweating, searching my pajamas for my papers and realize those go home. Anyway, we can now prove conclusively that Mike DeWine's policies are making people get sick with the Cobra's virus and dying. How do we know this? Because Mike DeWine's policies have been in place for over six months, and it has only gotten worse. Under Mike DeWine's policy. We're currently at purple and after this comes ultraviolet, eh, so we know that under Mike DeWine's policies People are getting the Cobra's virus and they are dying. It's not like his policies are making people stopping dying from the disease. Some people may say that this things would have only been gotten worked with out his policies. But that is Pardon me Hypothetical. Hypothetically. Anything can happen. We could have had it invaders from Mars. You cannot prove hypothetical, but we do know for certain that under Mike DeWine's policies People are getting sicker and they are dying. And the last thing real quick is there's a restaurant downtown, which has overflowing crowds. When you enter the building, you grew up to a tote board, and there's a neck lanyard up there that has a plastic card on it. And the card says what? You are pro testing. Your protest has seen Trump or the police where the boat or any conservative oriented thing, and then you take off your mask. If anybody ever walks up to you and ask you why you're not wearing a mask, you respond. I'm currently pro testing on you. Don't get the card you say Trump. And wherever you leave, you can even turn in the land years or you can purchase it so that when I mean go to Wal Mart and other places you can walk out in without a mask and say, Hey, I'm pro testing. And Mike DeWine said that as long as I'm pro testing, I don't need a mask. Yeah, it's the whole mass thing in. You know, I started thinking about this the other night with the rising cases, and now they're saying that the tests are being delayed, so the numbers that we're seeing are probably not correct. The numbers that they're releasing are probably not accurate, they should be higher. So here's my thing. We all stayed inside, right? We all were Mass. We all stayed inside, And then we started going outside, right so again because we did what we're supposed to do. Wasn't all this supposed to been gone away? I mean, what was the whole point where we supposed to? I know we're supposed to lessen the burden on the hospitals. And I'm okay with that, because again the medical field. Those guys have a tough job as it is and not not straining..

"I want to just say this is a great honor, and you are something special, very special. Ah, a little rough around the edges, and that's what's beautiful and you get it out. I got of many churches and I loved going to churches. But Thiss has been my aunt will be back many times. I will say that. But first of all, let me say this. If you're a big Donald Trump supporter and you praise him and he says, you're rough around the edges. That's that's saying something, folks that's saying something. What he's really trying to say is you guys are nuts, and you guys are crazy, but thank you for supporting me rough around the edges. Listen. I don't mind the president going to church. I don't mind the president praying. I don't mind any politician doing that's keeping that he pulled out a little bit of cash as well and put it in a couple of twenties. For a man. That's a billionaire. You thought they would have been Benjamins, but he handed out a couple twenties. That's very, very consciously expected to carry thousands of dollars in cash all times. No, but if he's going to a church, and you know this is going to donate, Maybe you should hold more than $40 in his wallet. That's that's all I would say. But listen. I don't have a problem with the president going to church. I don't have a problem with him. Making appearances like that every president has done that. Don't have a problem with that. In short, ladies and gentlemen, Here's what I have a problem with. First of all this pastor is nuts. She sounds like the my pillow idiot and looked a man like there's very little coming to America. Action. They're gone. God was that Al Sharpton? Or was that who was that? Was that Al Sharpton or was that Arsenio Hall from coming to America? Was Arsenio Hall? OK, I get the two definitely our studio. I get the two mixed up from time to time because it was actually good. They both sound pretty good. They both sound. Your impressions were usually one that was pretty good. Gives good I'm going. I'm on I'm on. I'm on point from time to time Anyway, what I was saying was, I don't have a problem. The president going to church. I have a problem with this nutty pastor Janae school at but what I'd like to have her on the line. Denise, If you're listening, you're a nut. Please tell me what God told you about Donald Trump. I would love to hear what God whispered in your ear. I love you Take vitamins. Thank you. Thank you. Ah, Judge Janine. I would love to know that of all the things that God has on his plate. You know, of all the worries in the world that God took the time to whisper in your ear. I think Donald Trump is going to win a second term. I find that so interesting. What if God is wrong? Denise. She's not Pastor Denise. God was not God these together, eh? My Donald Trump sure is going to want to stay here. And I'm ready to make that bet. By the way, if you're sure we already have some bets on the table, by the way, I don't know if you're aware of that, But I lost to you so far, Man, your own three how much I lost 304 100. Probably probably 600. No talking on air bets. It's been 100 bucks every time, right? Hey, Shawn, there was one bet that he lost where he didn't have to pay me money. I'm trying to remember you had to say something on the radio talking about what did you have to say on the radio? I haven't And I had to say something that I'm not going to say. I don't remember you. Do you recall that particular wager? That was a loss for me, but I think I'm down 203 100 bucks. So whatever I'm down, I want to triple that amount for the presidential election. We already have. So you let me know when you want to make the bet will make We already have a bet. Well, okay, So this was the first bet you lost on the radio, and you didn't have to pay me money. But you had to say that some guy J d sharp. I am an idiot. And a before, Okay? You're a man of your word. You'd it was. I was even sports betting going on the same time. So, my lady, I didn't really lose. You did your own three So we already have a bet on the books right now, which is and we have it if you don't remember, You said that Donald Trump would get at least 15% of the blackmail. That's $200. You are absolutely going to lose that that is like from a bit, but I think I want that. Okay, So if you'd like on the air right now, although he is pulling hold on significantly better giving your wagers then was initially expected giving you a wager offer right now that that still stands, But I will make you that same financial amount $200. I believe Biden is goingto win. No, we'll make it $600. No, absolutely not not going to do that will make it $1000. I'm not going to make it. Five grand. I'm not. I'm not. First of all, it was a week ago. You said you didn't even want to make any bet with me. You wanted to wait. What did I say that I wanted to wait two weeks. All right, Listen, I'm giving you my best take it or leave it. So 200 bucks is about that's so So worst case scenario for me. It's a wash, because I go. Let's go 400 now, $200. That's it. Take it or leave it. Fine. Take it or leave it, buddy. Okay, very to support. I believe I thought you would go big with May You thought I would go? You big with me? I've been pushing you to bet me for for weeks now and you've been putting it off now, all of a sudden what? You have a treasure trove of cash. And you just want to bet five grand. I don't understand nothing. All right. So is that a bet? Is that a verbal agreement with the boxes? Okay, I'm still the support. We've got $400 in action or you a degenerate. That's a lot of money for pizza. I want to win and I'm going to win. You know, I mean, I mean, Stein could feed his family for a month. With that kind of money. That's that's a lot of money. That's like 40 bags of bugles is a lot of vehicles. By the way, do you want to talk to Stein at some point during the show today and find out I was bugle weekend when I really very excited with this ranch Bugle away Hold on his bugle fingers. I don't know if they were ranch. I think they were just ready, very said their original. You actually made a point to say Yes, yes, regular flavor. Yeah, He just told me through the screen. He he had to correct us on that. All right. So listen, Ladies and gentlemen, it's another situation of Donald Trump. Behaving in.

"Yeah that that movie that you laugh at me but I've had to be rude that once that would that's my favorite the Vegas vacation my brother was in Vegas vacation what else is in Hamilton yeah a little extra shot really yeah when they're playing craps the table if you ever see the movie that was playing craps when they show down at the end of the table he's wearing like a little bright as blue are it looks like a Arsenio hall jacket I write a letter that Lewis Jeffrey devry's out of was was that planned or was he just have in the casino where I know he saw that they're gonna do extras and stuff so he decided to kind of find it was live in Vegas he still is if that would be fun to go down there so yeah he went down there and they they put it in the shot but there is they have a goal is Japanese Arsenio hall jacket I mean this thing is bright you could see this like from the moon you can see two things in Vegas at night the live deluxe and his jacket if if it's like there's Jeffrey this is a quick shot he's like cheer the guy get we get seven in the days probably took all day to tape a probably the active the buxom like that of a coupon I just ran across this from Matt barrows of the athletic culture in hand said if the MRI on Tevin Coleman's shoulder yielded positive results take that for what it's worth Tom Coleman did not practice yesterday or today so just wanted I could give you the information for bowl well the thing about a dislocation is it's really how much did it stretch out the tendons in the muscles and ligaments around it good I mean it's really just pop it back in it's a socket the ball and socket is pop right back in the socket and usually that's pretty good and last you know you get a fracture some like that but it obviously it didn't sound like he has that personal dislocation as opposed to a full dislocation now but even if it's a full one again you just pop it back in it's a sock he was an all in son of pain what if you get the ligaments it is already out you'll then be carded all had an overwhelming understand why I know why I've only read swimmers who will get into all that again but I can I know those are painful but thank you it did from what I've been told once you get it back in then it's like you know he Martin Riggs right pop near lake okay we're good to go now get back in if they're no fractures in the ligaments a stretched up like that's a dead be awesome to have have him in there because I don't own a gas I don't know how much he trust breeder right now I mean he's right the most are trained but he had trust in breed early on I'm not sure if he does that use it right now is that a hundred percent appease diss and trust him is much as he once did I I don't know where to go wrong if you can remember with Brady well I did have a he did have a formal lady if he gets a Viking yeah he I wanna last yeah we did have a fun memories I read in the middle and they ripped it from them but before that he had an injury but then I don't you know sometimes I don't know I mean personally I think I thought at times this year he was the best back they had I agree whatever week it was the suit was at the Carolina game or the Green Bay game where you just former got out of a cannon those Cleveland Cleveland Monaghan first play the game I mean how else he looked like he was going to be the guy so I don't know I don't know what to say about breed I I'd love to see him to see them utilize him though because he is he's fast we look at this real quick I mean going back to the Cleveland game and even before that Pittsburgh in Tampa Bay in Cincinnati is Kerry's were fifteen twelve fourteen eleven thirteen eight eleven fifteen ten so you get thirty in Seattle they're only Charizard touches right carries a wrecked his errors he may have a may have a bad reception there I didn't I didn't look that for some games better than others yardage his last game was ten carries that was the game to get hurt again Seattle they didn't come back until December eighth against New Orleans and that must have been you know in that time most or that have to go back and look at the Moster did and then Coleman did during that time but since he's come back he's had six four four eight one so I I I don't know who is just you know like once you're out of the house Senate hands like black line of vision and most of stepping up in the US is stepping up his let's remember Coleman went down and he was injured and breed to gag and then pretty got all the characters Brady was Roland so maybe he got out of sites when the hot hand a running back like Hey yeah I yeah like you're out okay then against you but this guy is rolling right now and some point you'll probably get dang did then you get another shot at it if you roll that I'll let you go in there and keep going so I that's the only thing I could think of yeah I mean I all I would say is a Coleman is the guy you know he trusts because he you know he had a minute Lana and he knows the offense probably the best I would guess and then he's also the veteran and probably your biggest between the tackle runner maybe views Moster and breed as the outside runners so you know the guys the speed gad the speed element of his running backs and maybe Mostra just just ahead of him and he's not given that up I'll say this month though after more what most your son last couple games how do you not ride him agree I mean he seems like the back and he his speed at different points is just like guys too bad angles get guys consisting take bad angles on him and he's a lot faster than you think any runs direct lines it doesn't it looks a little funky runs a little upright it's I mean it's odd but I mean it's effective yeah here is deliver quick I wouldn't go to somebody else unless somebody could prove they can stop most at Cleveland game the breed to have the real big games and starting in that game here are your mustard Kerry's in seven four zero against Washington you may been hurt they game nine one six six six Baltimore had a good game nineteen then went and had nineteen for one forty six is like okay let's see this guy can do yeah that's yeah and then that was a big team ten fourteen eleven ten twelve twenty nine against Green Bay I mean after Baltimore he did not have a game where he had double digit rushing before Baltimore he had to Pittsburgh Cincinnati the only two games in Cincinnati with a bloody get sometime in the second half because it was a blow out but other than that no wasn't his and then all of a sudden you know what against Baltimore and I'm guessing yeah breed was out the game against Baltimore says December first he got a shot nineteen carries one forty six and since then because like but let's see what you can do then he's been doing it let them do it what about the idea of Coleman's possible return or eventual return being something that Steve spec nolo has to think about has to spend however much time on you know the nine a rushing attack is more than the back it's the sum of all of its parts to the play called the blocking and so on and so on but later the idea that spec mellower girl I saw that died after get carted off the field and he came back on the shoulder harness now there's a chance that he's going to play is that something you can just go out there to have a defense according to rush no question important it is I mean it it's you're not gonna say for sure even if you knew the guy was gonna play there's no advantage and saying yep he's out he's out don't worry about him that he's out and actually have the be the story you might want to say Hey you know what he looks good he looks good it's viable as possible right up until game day and then game day you'll get I think the real answer I think the bottom line though is how do you not run the ball when you're coming off a game where you gained a hundred and eighty six rush yards before contact your old line is Kickin **** up front I mean it's Tomlinson seventy year I mean they're doing it with Tomlinson and garland in person and you know in the tag in the McLean she am Staley or former first round picks but this is a non star office of line with you know somewhat makeshift parts not insulting any of them but that is incredible hundred eighty six yards before contact in Mostar had a hundred and forty two of his yards before anybody touched him so you know I think that's that's play calling and that she shows you how diverse teams don't even know where that night were Shanahan's gonna hit him and and they're getting the run the rolling down hill so why stop right keep it keep a gun maybe can keep it going for the game why not throw when you're doing seventy five percent can you run in seventy five percent known thrown seventy five percent success rate six seventy five say yes girls in his problem his role in he could not be caught small samples to a tiny little sample I like the idea that you're mad that you've consumed too much information though, too much information the bad thing for me. You know, you got enough think pressure situations. I always tell my kids on my lacrosse team. Listen, I don't want you thinking out there. Okay. Just play. Let your natural instinct take over. And I have done you. I am thinking too much about this. I every report that comes out of the rollercoaster the entire day up. I'm down I'm up. I'm down. I'm up I'm down happy. Twenty ninth birthday to rob gronkowski. Happy birthday to him. I don't care. Good luck wanting nine years old. So what are the stakes that we have in play here because the local shows in this market are putting some big wagers on. If the heat get their one percent chance of being number one. What about you Chris locally the two hosts are saying if the heat at the first pick they're gonna get a Knicks tattoo. Two on there. But which is the big rival down here. If they if he the first big I said, I'm not going to eat for a week, just drink water, and Greg I believe said, wait a minute. Greg's involved too. Yeah. Of course is much much grin and regret. What did you bet I'm going to dance school? Greg Cody on the ESPN radio..

Like, if you if you get him as your guy when Milwaukee's become what Milwaukee has become and he's got his resume of off court stuff. They're just grooming him, aren't they? Well, I'm assuming that there was a PR a problem with him. And and this is just an assumption. I'm assuming by the way, the fool fool disclosure as journalists always say, I was at the party that Jason Kidd was that up in the Hamptons that night he got popped on that. Do you? I situation everybody had limos and he drove away and he had his problem. And I basically there's this other thing where him and his wife are moving furniture, and, you know, something went down, and and I think everybody's just afraid to push the Jason Kidd. But because I mean, we're in a time where things are changing, and and men are being forced to deal with their skeletons in Hollywood from Weinstein all the way to I mean, you you, you know, what's going on? And and in our world, I think that's the hardest man to put in a giant market like this. For. I mean, giving your time with the talk shores. I mean, you were for a time there every celebrity in Hollywood was appearing on your show. You were kind of the television show for Hollywood even with the tonight show, there weren't you? Absolutely. And and you know, what I used to get the young new stuff where where you know. Johnny would get Stephen eighty you know, I would get prints and leaders of the new school. And and I you know, I was it. And we peacefully coexisted very well because Johnny didn't want the stuff that I wanted. Johnny did want to take a call from Dr dre and put on a kid named Calvin who everybody called snoop..

I do understand one thing though, over Magic Johnson is, you know, he's a boss, and if he can't be a boss he gonna take his ball and go home, you don't wanna play at all. And you know that. So that was a simple one to figure out what can't figure out is this, Jason Kidd move. I mean, what what what are you? How do you see the station kid move down there in Florida? We'll we'll get to that. In a second. I think we're all perplexed. Are you a big Greg Cody fan like what what happened there? Big are sending you home. What what you know? What it's it's guys.
