Should Donald Trump Run Again? Kevin McCullough Weighs In

"McCullough, what is on your heart? What do you think about? Here's a question. Let's start here. There are plenty of people and I hear them who say, ah, I don't think Donald Trump should run for president in 2024. We should get behind desantis or something. Strong preference. Would be that Trump would run. He would win and then desantis can have two terms after that. We've got a deep bench. We don't need to put desantis out there now. I believe Trump deserves a second term because I actually believe he was elected to a second term in 2020. And so what do you say to people who are already in a way being cowardly with regard to Trump? Oh, he's divisive. He's divisive. Yes, that's why he's effective because he's not afraid to speak the truth. Well, it's interesting that you started out with proclaiming my predictive power in the past because I missed 2020 according to the experts and according to the statisticians. Pretty badly. But if dinesh d'souza's film is true, if half of what they were able to prove in with true the vote is true, then I got that. I got that election called probably Kevin. There is zero question that you got it. And it's not about you, obviously. And the thing about hero question. But the thing about dinesh is film. And I want everyone to hear this. 2000 meals, the interesting thing about this, and you were lucky enough to be in it. They set the standard with true the vote in terms of how they did the data. At ten times what would be necessary to prove in court. Ten times the legal standard is what they set the threshold at. And even at that threshold, they proved that the election was taken from Donald Trump lawfully. Unlawfully. So this is really what's coming up in the next now, what is it 85 days? I think we are away from the November election is really, really important to me. And I appreciate you having me back to talk about this. Look, I've been seeing these very comments you're talking about. Matt Walsh, people writing in the hill, other people at the daily wire. There's others that are already out there saying, well, if Trump really wanted to do the best thing possible, he should get out there and campaign for people, and he should wave the flag, but not choose to run himself. And here's my statement in I wrote about this two weeks ago in town hall. Stop. This man got more votes than any sitting incumbent president in the history of the country. Nobody's ever come close to as many incumbent votes for reelection as he did. It doesn't matter what Joe Biden got. I don't think anybody thinks that the votes that came in for Joe Biden were legit. But Donald Trump, you know that he earned every vote that he got.

Anne Heche's Car Crash Was a Gift From the Gods

"Saturday's car crash with Ann hesh was a gift from the gods. That came out of nowhere. Not trying to make it funny. It's an awful thing that happened, but listen, even if you'll spend the afternoon drinking wine and vodka. During a podcast and admitting your hammered and then backing into an apartment complex and people are trying to help you with a vodka bottle plane to see right in your center console, you're looking for trouble. I touched on it a bit on the Patreon show. The fact that there was, I don't know if you saw the video of the car going 80 miles an hour on a quiet residential street, but just picture yourself sitting on your stoop. And a car whizzes by an 85 instead of 25. I mean, you have to get up and run inside your house. It's terrifying. During the video, the wheels are squeaking and screaming because she's kind of making a little turn. She did not apply the brakes once because if you see the video, she whizzes by this house that had the doorbell camera on, and then you hear three seconds later, this awful crash, no screeching of the tires. Takes out a whole house, almost burned to death. I don't know how she's in stable condition. I can't wait to find out what the hell was in her blood. Because I think on the way home, I don't know if she had some Xanax in her system in addition to the alcohol, I would say she passed out, but passing out typically doesn't mean you press harder on the gas pedal. Kansas's Abortion Swing Does Not Mean a National Win for Democrats

"As New York Times reports, consider far western Kansas, a rural region along the Colorado border that overwhelmingly votes Republican. In Hamilton county, which voted 81% for Trump in 2020, less than 56%, chose the anti abortion position on Tuesday. In greenlee county, which voted more than 85% for Trump, only about 60% chose the anti abortion position. The worst wing areas that swung left, cities and suburbs, there were some people who showed up, turnout was pretty high. It is also true, however, that the turnout being this high was for a single issue. Not necessarily for a presidential election or for a gubernatorial election. So a lot of people voted on this particular referendum who did not vote in the democratic primaries, for example. And so you could see something very similar happen. Let's say the Democrats try to stack state ballots with abortion referenda in an attempt to get people out to the ballot box. Well, it's quite possible. We'll split their ticket and they vote in favor of the things the Democrats are proposing if people agree with what voters just didn't in Kansas. And then at the same time, they don't vote for the actual Democrats. The notion that this is going to provide some sort of inflection point for Democrats going forward, I think is wrong and I think it's even more wrong because the federal Democrats feel the necessity to get out over their skis on this thing. And what this did, what the overturn of roe versus wade did, is it relegated this back to the states? Well, we just saw as a state like Kansas. Sort of unpredictably decided that it was further left on the issue of abortion than people thought it was. How exactly is that a, how exactly does that mean that role being overturned was a massive problem for the states? Obviously it is not. Now Kansas is actually getting to decide for itself. What it wishes to do on abortion, which is called federalism. But Joe Biden is trying to ref federalize the issue. He's trying to take it up again, re centralize the issue, which I think is actually not going to be particularly the popular. And the reason I think that's not going to be particular popular is because, again, people in Kansas may be worried about what happens to them in Kansas. But why exactly do you think that that's going to motivate them to vote on federal abortion legislation that applies to people in Alabama? What makes you think that everybody wants this to be a national issue predominantly when the Supreme Court is very unlikely to allow it to become a national issue in the first place.

"Trump made some pretty bold endorsements here in Arizona. So Blake masters has won. Mark fincham has won, rusty Bowers, who testified in front of the J 6 community, committee has lost and farnsworth in opposition has won. And it looks like Carrie is going to win. There's a 100,000 ballots outstanding. People are a little worried they say, can they still do some shenanigans with those 100,000 ballots, but talk about the type of voters and what are these ballots Tyler? These are the people that went to a vote processing center on the day of the election and then put in their ballot, of which, for example, my wife and my mother in law, they're like, we don't trust the mail and system. We're literally gonna go give I just thought of that as an archetype example of hard R's that did that. Am I right? Yeah. I mean, I didn't see the final number, but most of yesterday was trending like 85% of all the votes that were cash yesterday were Republican. And clearly the day of votes that were cast yesterday were 67% in favor of Carrie Lake. Which tells you that there's probably the likelihood is probably going to be a 60 something percent number for those early ballots that were dropped off because it's the same kind of people. Because they're confused, right? Because what the Democrats have done is confused everybody.

Larry Elder Talks About the 'Uncle Tom' Documentaries

"Uncle Tom is all about the struggle of black conservatives throughout America from the time of slavery until right now that people like look at T Washington have always believed in hard work, accountability and becoming excellent. And his argument was that even in the face of racism, if you learn a skill, a job, a trade, as well as or better than somebody else, you will be rewarded because people want the best. They want cheap. They want good quality. They want things that work. When I was a kid, I used to spend summers, my moms ranch. And my mom, mom, farm, rather. My mom told me there was a black man who couldn't read or write, who was the best chimney maker in the south. And the way of determining a good chimney maker is somebody that does not order too many bricks because if you order too many, the guy that's ordering them has to pay for them and to make sure that Jimmy does not smoke. It's not leak. And she said he was always employed by all these white people that wouldn't invite him in for tea, but they'd invite him to their chimney because he was the best. And so there have been many examples of that. We explore that in Uncle Tom one about people that worked hard to learn the skills and learn trade even in the face of tremendous racism and Jim Crow still managed to succeed and to overcome. And then we talk about how this attitude has now been changed by these people like Jesse Jackson and Al sharpton and Patrice colors, the cofounder of Black Lives Matter, essentially telling black people that you're victims. Always victims. Eternal victims, if victims of systemic racism, enduring racism, foundational racism, to the point where it's changed the attitude of a lot of black people and the worst work ethic of a lot of black people and more importantly the family structure. With the welfare state, as I said, a million times, we've encouraged women to marry the government and we've encouraged men to abandon their financial and more responsibility. And now we have not a scandal, but a scandal and a crisis, Brandon, 85% of black 8th graders are neither mass nor reading proficient. 85%, that means 85% of black 8th graders are functionally illiterate. And the NAACP just had their annual convention and what are they talking about? Reproductive rights, voting rights, student debt, and police brutality. That's their agenda. And so if long as our so called black leaders are focusing on the wrong thing, the solution will forever be elusive.

He said, Mike, I was intrigued by the CNBC article you wrote. Are you discussed? So I did some research on CNBC's worst states to live in report, they also did a ten best states report. And they were Iowa ten Oregon 9 New Jersey 8, Nebraska 7 Washington state 6 Minnesota 5 North Dakota four Hawaii three main two and number one Vermont. JR said it shouldn't be a surprise. That these are states that have very small minority populations. There ain't a lot of black people living in Vermont. Now since diversity and inclusion were used as two of the criteria in the rankings, 8 of the ten states that CNBC claims are the best states in America to live in. As far as our country and the rhetoric getting to the inner city communities, because I'm often questioning, is it getting through the minds of young people? Because when we talk, they come and criticize us in a painters. It's Uncle Tom's. And it's hard to get the message out. Well, it's all about telling the truth. And now it's about 20% of black men voted for Donald Trump in 2016. The highest ever and you're finding a declining numbers regarding Joe Biden because of crime because of inflation because of the price of gas. So I think there is a there's some signs of hope that maybe just maybe some people need to rethink their assumptions. So I'm hopeful. We just got to keep telling the truth, Brandon. I was giving a speech one time. And as you know, frequently, I'm invited by Republican clubs and almost invariably just a handful of blacks are there. So I'm giving a talk and there's a black guy standing in the back. Big guy, his arms are folded and he's taking his head left to right when I'm making a point. I think this guy's going to kill me. Listen to her here. I don't expect a recession. Obviously, we are living in our time that's very challenging. And developments in Russia, Ukraine, and yeah, I don't know, is we're not going to have a recession. Wishful thinking, perhaps. On the part of the treasury secretary, I keep in mind she has the treasury secretary now, right? So she has to be, well, she has to carry a certain amount of water for the administration, of course, and nobody wants to talk about recession or recognize that that's a threat, but indeed it is. In fact, Goldman Sachs out recently with the report saying that there was a 35% chance of recession. You've seen a number of banks actually incidentally Deutsche Bank was another come out with increasingly increasing odds of recession. And so this is starting to become part of everybody's vocabulary. I actually think that the odds of recession are way higher and I'm putting them around 85%, 85% chance of recession because there's got to be a pullback in that people can not continue affording what we're seeing, gas prices, for example, food prices, and all of this is protected to grow, continually worse.

So we have brought in Cliff Saunders this morning from Houston's morning news. He is going to be assisting all through the morning on our complete storm coverage. So let's begin with. Look at where Tropical Storm Hanna is this hour, but in good morning, Nicky Good morning, Randy Lemon as well. Hannah, getting closer to becoming a hurricane, maximum sustained winds of about 70 miles an hour. That was, according to the National Hurricane Center a couple of hours ago, and Richard Pash, one of their hurricane, experts tells us where Han is headed panda is currently located. Oh, Not too far. Now off the coast of South Texas, baby, about 150 miles or so from are less from Corpus Christi. As for what we get in the Houston area campers article with the National Weather Service says it's tough to say depends on where some of these outer bands as we know what these storms set up and how much of a training effect you're going to see. Pinpointing an area Hey, you're going to get you know, 3 to 5 inches is little bit more challenging. In the Houston area. It's going to be much more likely to see those kinds of things down in Missouri of Matagorda Jackson County. With everyone inside the loop, Nicky, seeing an average of about 1 to 3 inches, And as I'm looking at the radar, it does seem to be moving. So training is not going to be a problem, at least in the next couple hours. National Hurricane Center Projecting up to 15 inches of rain in the corpus area, Rockport Port Lavaka, When should be arriving about eight o'clock? It could be a low and hurricane when it makes landfall later this afternoon. Right now, excellent stain. Winds are near 65 mile an hour, of course, have hired guests. Big problems would be storm surge along portions of the southern coast there Texas and that's something we're going to be watching that the National Hurricane Centre governor Abbott is dispatched emergency resource is coastal band the Rio Grande Valley area while simultaneously setting 1000 medical personnel to treat patients with Corona virus. The area's already dealing with about 10,000 cases in Houston. We have been getting light rain from those outer bands that is extending from Lake Charles all the way down to Corpus. We haven't had enough overnight rain to cause any accumulation. There is no flash flooding yet that could develop it any time today.
