"Just things that the enke's front office opted not to do for whatever reason and then put put their backs up against the wall to gary cole. Eighty-five million more dollars in the next the next highest contract and there's going to be expectations come at the contract. That's also might be with it too is because you know you're paying this guy all this money you know. The fan base is going to be holding them accountable. Just based on the dollar. Sign the that that you've given to him The the problems don't aren't entirely with his performance. It's just when we need certain performances. We don't get them. And then when you look at garrett cole and the amount of money were paying him it doesn't really compare like jacob degrom. In my opinion there's the gap between jacob degrom and garrick goal is i it's indescribable. Not the same. Not even it's not even more and that's what troubles may because that. You can't have that disparity between the supposed picturing in the league and and your ace if you wanna be a world series contender if you're ace is the highest paid pitcher. So that's where my frustration lies. My frustrations are not with a great pitcher. Also nice guy. So i enjoy having them on my team. It is continually sad and mets fans really needs to drop the coal versus degrom thing because we never wanted them whenever you thought it was a thing. No it's not close. No yankee fan thinks it's closed fantozzi. What's crazy but it's also it wasn't ridiculous for like mlb's graphics department when the whole two hundred twenty five million dollar deal to be like. Hey who's the as the or jacob degrom or this extremely expensive i on the really popular yankees and then you know what the answer is. It's great today like it's not insane like none of it's crazy..

"And then you know just get rid of a couple of other guys that we don't need agreed we're gonna take a quick break where we come back The garrett cole phenomenon. Welcome back to the yard podcast. Think you and i are in alignment like there's maybe. We're not in alignment. But i'm not worried about. I'm still not worried about gary cole- long term. I think you can have this conversation into parts. i'm not. I'm not worried about gear. Long-term the stuff is there. He's throwing a hundred. The curve is nasty. the location is bad. He is learning how to pitch again without the aid of something that was very helpful to him but that did not help him become the number one overall pick and did not help him learn to throw one hundred miles an hour and did not help him take advantage of his pitch profile. Which when he was in pittsburgh he was a very good pitcher who did not throw the top of the zone. Who got rocked. On home runs on low fastballs et cetera and learn to relocate when he went to houston. Now he's gotta learn something else. I think he might have a little trouble for low while here. He's also still an all-star like that selection was not ridiculous. Chapman selection was deranged even at his slightly better area before he went on his twenty. Two point. five. Oh run in. Recent weeks didn't Not retiring better in saturday's game to sunday's outright hilarious very very funny but colts still you know one hundred thirty five one hundred five innings all star selection era under three major league pitcher and probably as. I'm not that worried about his status. You know in regard to the game in general however Prior to the spider revelations prior to all of this his yankee career sort of been defined. By what a great start in the wildcard playoffs a one zero victory at field this year which was sort of a a real jaw dropper. Like a great. Okay awesome although the rays strike out a lot and the raise offenses not wonderful and you know not being punked by the raises isn't gonna go and gary colds hall of fame plaque. But then again the homerun bugaboo The you know. Dom smith homerun the first inning. Is it too much to ask to get out of that. First inning unscathed..

"Please don't bring him in. He cannot handle the moment. He cannot bail this team out. He's rarely ever been the guy to to be known for that. And aaron boone's hands are tied because he has to make the by the book decisions in order to not draw more from the fan base. Even when he's doing that those are not working out and chapman has been a big symptom of that problem. And i just don't. I don't care what you get for him. I don't i really don't care. Just get a top. Thirty prospects sent him to a contender. I'm sure somebody else will be happy to take him some team. Who needs some relief help. Who's on the cusp of contention. Lot other teams are in contention. This year that we hadn't previously expected to be so there's gonna be a market for relievers. The are going to have to sell low. I just think it. The damage has been done with chapman. Ineptitude in the postseason now not being able to save the yankees when they're on the ropes in the regular season. Look the yankees are what the mets are forty four or forty three and thirty seven or forty two and forty one and everyone thinks the mets are having a the season. That new york has been hoping for the difference really. Isn't that much but the expectations for the yankees are different. They do have a chance. To rebound but i don't think they're chance of rebounding is with this entire core. They need to make some changes. You need to make a mini retool. And i think that will revitalize them in some asi but it starts with. Just get rid of chapman. Nobody cares anymore. Nobody likes him yet. We traded the wrong reliever to the red sox. How awesome would it be to a foisted chapman on boston for a salary dump or whatever like all their fans are on their high horses about you know the yankees employing chapman as if yankee fans as if we love our oldest chapman. No he's a blight. He's the worst part of our fandom. By far and i will not lose one wink of sleep if the as managed to send him somewhere else and any performs. Let's say he dominates wherever he goes. I didn't care rate. Don't don't care at all and if your power ranking people that i wouldn't care if they dominated elsewhere by far and away number one is number two. I don't have any of these people in my life. And if they put a buffo numbers in seattle or san diego okay. Fine don't get just simply do not care. I mean in terms of who. You're trying to sell off at the deadline. Chapman is jabeen is obviously number one. It's not close. there's no one. In chapman's chapman is on the top of mount everest. And everybody else is just at basecamp being that's pretty tall mountain Huge number one number two is accurate britain for for monetary reasons. Everybody who's at the top of this list is in the bullpen. But if you can get somebody to take brittany get somebody to buy into the fact that he is going to be theoretically healthy soon. Then yeah great if somebody would like to take accurate to Sad i was excited when he opted back in. I've barely seen him this year. When i have been giving up home runs. Carlos santana and screaming as he limps off the mound in boston. Because of course thinking go our way It was it was cool seeing the spend money on britain's option and but it was uncool. Everything that's happened since then. No thank you chad green. I do think there is a discussion. That must be had around selling chad green. It's a tough one but when you're evaluating these relievers and trying to decide if a reliever is part of the future or not You know some teams. It's easier to do yankees. It's difficult right because often on these middling teams you're like is x..

"I guess we gotta talk about our oldest chapman. I though the weekend happened the weekend was would it was A role champion cannot be the closer around this team anymore and the first time we talked. About how boone was damned if you do damned if you don't going to him at the end of that six hour angels slop fest. That really ended the that was the end of the season in the past. I said the tone start in philly was the end of my caring about this team. I guess that was proven. Not true. Because i definitely cared when i woke up at three forty in the morning and saw the angels crap but that day chapman is. You're closer if he can't get this four run lead secured. Then you know like that's an insane thing for manager up to be like yeah. I went to my closer to four on lead against a bad team and he retired one batter and gave up a game. Time grand slam. What do you want this time. Chad green ended up going three innings in the nightcap which was amazing but i do not know how chapman toes the rubber in the first game. A and that. It's gotta be it for him that we were we're done we're done. I look i said trade him in the off season and then i I backed off of that. Because we've been having an incredible. Yeah i thought. I was proven wrong. I thought he. Reinvented his splitter. Which reinvented his pitching style. By adding splitter and using a slider a little bit more. I do we know if the sticky stuff is affecting him. I have no idea Do we also know that. This is kind of Characteristic baby for this chapman yes like the stats show. "Seven here on this Wednesday was bag hanging out with you and Wanna hear from you in 877337 66 66, Because what we saw last night from our oldest Chapman was some cowboy nonsense that never needed to happen. And I didn't mean to make that rhyme because it takes away from the severity of what Chapman did last night booths, which is, you know, coming to the game where you have a lead against the team that has been absolutely handing it to you this season. So you're going to be lucky to get out of there with a win and feel good about yourselves. Getting out there with a windy jailer. You hits two home runs. You got your shell of pull it off this magical slide at the plate. I mean, they were all positive things going on for the Yankees last night, And then here comes Chapman. After Masahiro Tanaka had already sent the message in the first inning already sent the message hit. Joey Wendell. Hey, we don't like the earth, throw it inside on D. J. Lo Mayhew. We don't like the way you're pitching some of our guys. Here's our retaliation back to you. Boom. Plump Joey Wendell right in the ribs. He goes to first. That's it. It's over. But here comes Chapman riding in Like I said, the cowboy, the sheriff, Whatever that he's going to be the guy who's going to serve up the vigilante justice here, and he decides to take it too far. He stepped way over the line. When youth are throwing 100 MPH and you are throwing at a guy's head. That's what it wass. Because we can have a was thrown at the shoulders on this that he was throwing at the guy's head, upper body, upper Upper head area Moose. It was obvious to see that and you could really hurt somebody. And especially if you're throwing the gas at this guy for 100 Mile an hour fastball right in his head. It's stupid. Roll. The strap men should be suspended for it. And you know what? The Rays manager Kevin Cash didn't do anything to help himself after the game. I get it. You get ejected your hot, the benches clear. There's a that I would understandably be upset if I were Kevin cash, and you know what? He actually had me through most of his explanation. You know, he thought that probably and he did say the words Phil Nevin, but the third base coach from the Yankees, we know likes to get into it with teams. Chirping at the at the Res bench, and he could openly question the Yankees and and all of that stuff, I thought that was actually fair game. I don't think it's right. I think it's off base. I don't think they have an organizational issue, but you can understand where he's coming from right. But then he took it too far. See Kevin Cash took it too far. And with zero hint of irony. Actually says how there This guy role this Chapman hit. Try to hit one of my players and try to throw at his head. Well, if you do that, And if you want some of this, I gotta bullpen full of guys who can throw 98. I'm gonna hit you back now. How is that a solution? How is that anything that Major league baseball is going to say? Yeah, those good old fashioned fun? No, there's nowhere in the unwritten rules about throwing it guys heads. In fact, that's extremely forbidden The unwritten rules and I hate the unwritten rules anyway, but it is forbidden. So Kevin Cash didn't help himself. Aroldis Chapman Looks like you know, he was completely out of touch with what was going on. And if he gets suspended, it not only hurt him, it hurts the Yankees. They already had enough trouble twisting themselves into pretzels last night, trying to come up with explanations for why Chapman would do this and You know Zach Britton saying he's still rusty and boom. Not, you know, basically wanted to get involved, but they he already put his teammates in a bad position. If he has to miss any part of time. What does he think this is? Do you think the Yankees have some 6.5 game leading the division here? Absolutely. Not there every night. Back in the race for mayor you got you got the Blue Jays right behind you. We'll hear right. There's no doubt And here's the deal. I mean, the Chapman nonsense in the ninth inning took away from what would have been a good night, right? Tanaka delivering offense coming around or Shelagh? We talked about that. I mean, E. J. Lo Mayhew coming through, and the Yankees finally being a raise team that going into last night had owned them winning seven of eight this year. And for anybody that has a doubt Of the intent. For the purpose of our oldest Chapman. There's a video that's being that's online of Ah, a shot behind home plate off the pitch, and there was no blinking. There was no Oh, my. I'm sorry this of that reaction from our oldest Chapman as he walked off the mound straight toward home plate after he threw that pitch pitch wasn't with intent and purpose. Now listening. It was due. I think he's looking to hit him in the head. No, I mean, maybe he's looking to hit him in the shoulder. Maybe he's looking to throw him behind his head, whatever it might be, Maggie, But the fact is is the pitch went where it went, and there's consequences. For going out and making that pitch. Listen, I don't love the messaging from cash after the game, I get it. He's fire Ease, feisty. He's upset. He's ticked off. He just saw one of his one of his hitters at a team. That's you know, kind of a town over $60 Million payroll. Almost take one right off the noggin I get. It's the last thing you want to do as a manager, though. Eyes say after the game that I've got an arsenal of guys that throw the ball 98 miles an hour if you want to play this game, nor do I think Aaron Boone sent the role this Chapman or gave them a message to go out and and throw of one of the Rays hitters. Listen, Nevin could be a pain in the rear end. We know that he's a fiery, feisty guy..

"Old school indeed. So there's one big battle. May you He was off to a great start. So is Arin Judge. When might we see Judge returned from his cast ring? Well, if it was up there and judge would be tonight. You know what? He talked with reporters today, He said he feels fine and you could tell that he wasn't real happy that he's on the injured list. Now, Airborne said. They talked to him a soft tissue issue and they wanted to make sure that he was going to be okay. It looks like he's going to be off the injured list on Saturday. Speaking of the injured list, Aroldis Chapman has been there since the start of the season, obviously still waiting to return from testing positive for covert 19. Show happy baseball trade deadline by the way it's a lot of hype this year might be married. Baseball changed the rules so teams can no longer move players in August member. Justin verlander came over to the Astros in August. This is the last day to make a move and most of the recent World Series Champs have made some type of midseason deal think of the Astros Getting Justin burland under the cubs getting aroldis Chapman Twenty sixteen but a little more complicated this year because thanks to the wildcard. You got a lot of teams still in the race. You gotTA decide if you're a buyer or you're. You're a seller or the case of the mets. Maybe you're trying to be both so teams may be overpaying in terms of prospects because everybody it feels like needs aids more pitching in GM's are in a tricky spot if you make a move that ratchets up the pressure and could weaken the team in the future. It's about winning now. If you don't fans get impatient nothing more frustrating than having a great team and then you have a questionable bullpen or the other way around good luck figuring out all the the baseball issues here entering into the stretch run of who needs what and what they're willing to give up. "A given the way the last few days have gone when judge makes that play and falls on the wrist. You worry at all about another injury. Sure. Because that's one of those dangerous place for outfielder especially coming straight on like that. It's hard for for them sometimes to get underneath the ball to make the play and not hurt themselves. I felt like I saw pretty well. And I felt like I newly is fine. But but definitely one of those kind of hold your breath on. And thankfully, Aaron judge is okay. "Of the league overall, including players from all thirty teams. So they had a wide range of topics. They're the most intimidating pitcher in the game. Who did they pick? Chris sale second. Max scherzer. Yes, aroldis Chapman was third on that list. The most intimidating hitter in the game. Mike trout. Yeah. I would have gone Aaron judge is far as intimidation, but Mike trout forty percent said him, then it was Aaron judge JD Martinez in Giancarlo Stanton. Yeah. Intimidating. You're right. Intimidating judge is the specimen. I still think they'll good pitchers think they can get those intimidating hitters out. I think the scrappy hitters like Dustin Pedroia in his prime. You know, those are the toughest out there jeeter's. But I think yeah. If you're using the word intimidate, and you're right judge would probably be more intimidating than trout's traps and that big thick neck. They looks like a tailback who was the most intimidating hitter in your time. Gary Sheffield by then he was most violent, you know, right? He's come up with the Marlins ice to he I actually stole his suede shoes. But he gave them to me. But I still mouth locker because I just wanna be Gary Sheffield, I was like the wiggle wiggle, but he was violent and he never took an bat off. What about the most pitcher wise? Yeah. Yeah. Randy johnson. I mean, one is ugly one hundred nasty slider. He's six foot the hand. He's squirreling as flavor saver on the mound over this black glove. You can't really see us is. Yeah, it was just it was a battle. And I went four for four the first game against him. And owner, and I'm like, this is amazing. What they thought I own rain down the Mercer. My thing he's struck me out thirty times, we didn't gonna fiftieth. He doesn't strike me. Somebody's gonna take kindly to go and four for four including a home run off of him. And you meet the next town. Right. He's saying who's this guy? We got like fifty eight wins with the Marlins he has get caught slipping in the hitters count. And I home runs a fastball. Get a couple of doubles. Okay. Life's good. I don't think I missed contact for the next mass. The most underrated player in the game is. Under it a man, it's, you know, Andrew Benintendi. I think this kid the batting titles champion waiting to happen. I just think he does a lot of great things on the baseball field. But you have Mukhi JD Martinez Zander Bogart's, but I would say Andrew, Benintendi, just watching little guy. Plays the game the real. I think he's really Betty. Yeah. He gets lost a little bit in Mookie shadow. But he's he's a talented kid. The most underrated player in the game. According to the players in the game plays for the nationals. Ooh. Dome. Yeah. Was it? Yeah. You look at some of his numbers. I mean. Yeah. That's a good one. I like that one Paul Goldschmidt got he was runner up here. For underrated. You know? What do you know? What's underrate rate about him, Danny, and I'm gonna tell you. He is a tremendous base. Stealer. Shut the numbers on like he's still more bags than Mike trout over the last few years like he runs and when he runs he's safe. He's smart just locking on Paul Goldschmidt, stealing twenty bags accidentally. But but he's not underrated. He's just under covered. I think there's a difference in that. Because Goldschmidt was great with the diamondback. He could win the MVP the National League this year. Of course, it's almost like, Mike trout. See, right. You don't hear much about him because there's such sweethearts of human beings. They've been on the west coast. So there's not a whole lot. Right. You just kinda like, okay, they're great players. "Is perhaps any penalty or suspension that's gonna come for Larry Baer since major league baseball introduce their domestic abuse policy in two thousand fifteen there have been a number of players that have received suspensions for violating the policy. What penalties could bear face here? That's an open question at this point. Now, what are their? It's addison. Russell aroldis Chapman. A number of players have been suspended under that domestic violence policy. That does not tend to apply to front office members at the same time. Major league baseball has punished for an office members. Whether it's with John Coppola, the former general manager of Atlanta Braves being banned or other front office members who have been suspended, it doesn't bother in such matters. But the league hasn't seen an incident like this with the front office member. So it'll be interesting to see exactly how it does handle it perceived going forward and keep in mind bear and the giants came short and their pursuit of Bryce Harper. That the Phillies landed big fish to the off season Philadelphia Phillies, telling sports radio ninety four WIP. They've sold over a hundred thousand tickets twenty four hours after news broke up Harper agreeing with the bills, I was thirteen years three hundred and thirty million dollars on Thursday. So can his arrival in Philadelphia help. The game as a whole. Here's will Cain by the nineties. Baseball is now falling to its place. Football is king is a sport. But Michael Jordan's king of athletes, and honestly golf has its heyday there Tiger Woods rises to thousands. Tiger Woods comes to rain. But baseball what Barry Bonds McGuire jeeter. You gotta say they're coming in third and by the two thousand now you're looking at LeBron is keen Brady and manning follow probably in second, and who you competing with in baseball who holes jeeter a-rod. Now, we are where we are with Bryce Harper leading the charge. And while baseball might have its biggest star in Philly is in love and by the way ticket sales through the roof until congratulations. Once again, that's something to be applauded Bryce Harper's already paying off at the ticket booth. We'll see if he pays off in World Series as far as paying off his stardom in baseball baseball has a long way to go to give back to the place at once was never wanna playoff series as a member of the Washington nationals. There's more meat on the bone. So to speak in this contract as Harper could make more through incentives a World Series MVP would be worth an additional hundred. Thousand dollars five hundred grand if he's league MVP DD make the right choice. Oprah get the giants and dodgers were in the mix Los Angeles offering more average annual value at over forty million season on a shorter term PTI with this insights, it really does. I did the quick math one hundred eighty over four years. It makes three thirty over thirteen sound like a bargain, just it. It's just unbelievable. I'll go with Harper on this one. He wanted the long-term security, which he now has no opt-out clause. So he's staying there, no trade clause. So he basic controls future. I thought he wanted the dodgers because you could have taken this Phillies deal about a month ago, or he just could've stayed in Washington for three hundred million. Okay. So I find this unfathomable. I'm not saying I dispute the report I'm finding the reaction to it by Harper unfathomable, this is price Harper. This is a kid who was raised bread born to be. Great baseball player when he was twenty two years old. He had a season that made up the MVP in the National League. And you're telling me he's not going to bet on himself again at age thirty. He's gonna make more money for those four years than anybody has ever made by a wide margin, forty five million dollars, and then not been on himself, Scott Boris is running around. And he is telling people that the most important thing to Harper was long term in one spot, you need to tell me why why if you're that great a player, you can't wait to get back to free agent. You're telling him take the dodger offer. Well, don't tell them to take the Phillies opera. That's what Scott Boras did meantime, a screen shot posted by Levy on bells Instagram account appears to be Harper trying to woo. The free agent running back to join him in Philadelphia. Don't forget bells abrasion himself in the NFL. Let's take the city by storm bring as many titles as we can to the greatest city in the world brotherly love, he wrote segue to the National Football League. "Okay. Into the nineteen twenties and thirties and he's innocent Yankee. Yes. You're gonna give us number give us number. It's Warren right now by the Yankee, closer aroldis Chapman, fifty four. Fifty four was his goose Gossage. One guy the other guys you explain away longtime ago wasn't. They just didn't do it. Right then. Okay. Fine and half of them got retired. Anyway, number six and number one. It ended up happening. Not for this goose Gossage is the only guy that fits the Bill of a surprise retired really is number if he's innocent. Yankee you tell me why did they start? I don't know. I don't get that. Did they not think he was going to be? History their rights. Go ahead. The spring training with some issues because he's a very outspoken guy. That's correct. But they gave away his number very quickly. This is not something. That was hell I'll give you the list of guys have one is a ton of them and near the there are a list of just nobody snow offense to them. Remember, Richard Bleier? No he was on the team two years ago. No relation to rocky. Jim Masirah the pitcher. I do remember him. Jeff reardon. I don't remember Jeff nine Yankees. Yeah. Wow. Sterling, Hitchcock, Hitchcock, J buehner, actually, wore it. Well, it's been handed out a million times. I don't think they're gonna have a retired. I didn't know. Goose can you retire? I'm doing it. I don't have a bar. That's consistent for me to give it to tell you. What the heck? Yeah. They were a team to say, hey, you're in the hall of fame where in our hat. We're going to retire your number. It's as simple as that the Yankees both ways don't do that. The obviously didn't do with some of their earlier generation players into with goose scotch. They've also done it the other way with guys I mean, besides never get into the hall of fame now based on the early voting getting there, I dunno Assad number should be retired to be honest with a different story all about that Billy Martin too. I mean, I understand Billy Mani was great play and very good. But not great. But a very good player. You know, all of those teams in the fifties won the World Series. Obviously manage the team is he? He has a manager only we only won one World Series. So maybe instead of it being retired for Billy Martin should be retired for the leadoff hitter. For murderers row. Right. You probably easy. That would be a better way. We just changed our mind actually, still retired. But it's for you got the two number eights, Dickey and Berra. Correct. Yes. Yeah. Would you could do I guess with all these numbers? Now retired for everybody. You could have like nine retired for marriage and Greg nettles. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. So it's every team has a different bars. When we thinking about the Yankees, the have the most remarkable history in the history of baseball, probably the history of sports. If there is. Would be that this two teams. I would say rival at the Celtics and the Canadians. Sure, the Canadians definitely just my patriot should get near my. Although the discussion for another day how many guys really all famous. We talked about right now. It's unbelievable thing about the keys though. I put them over Boston. And it's not it's not a knock on Boston. Just the way the sport is baseball just been around so much. All right. Even an NBA in the twenty. You're right. So would you have such a history like that? You don't have to retire guys. We're not hall of famers numbers. So you don't have to retire. Ron Bernie Williams Andy Pettitte. Our Elston Howard Thurman, Roger marris's, see some of these guys. I think I still would retire Roger Maris's. Just like Mattingly. Yes. And Thurman after he retired. Both those guys have to be retired David Wright, I love that the Mets have this very high. Now writes gotta be retired. But he's he's Mattingly exception of retiring number anyway, even though he's not a hall of fame as good as Mattingly, but still no I just meant to Saint guy right to the Yankee fans growing up. No doubt, no doubt. If Winfield win is a Yankee, which almost did they wouldn't have retired, isn't it? I agree with you know, I agree. No, the Yankees don't have a consistent bar where I can tell you. If my gut says, I win retire, Mike Messina's number, but. I would not lean towards no I'd lean towards now. Oriole's retirements number. How many times have they handed it out since I'm kind of curious now, I'm gonna find that finance? Retired number. I forgot to be Brooks Robinson. Frank Robinson has got to be retired. Cal ripken. Oriole's out. They have a bunch retired number. I mean, like if they handed out that number thirty five since he left because some teams kinda keep it to them. They don't hand it out to anybody here. I have the answer to it. They have. Yeah. They've treated very badly. Who do you Orioles? Yeah. Josh towers, Rick Helling, Matt Reilly Daniel Cabrera Greg Aquino when you're talking about the numbers. Retired numbers. No, no, no, no, no. I understand. Basically, they took that number is Eli. They've retired number four for Earl Weaver. Areva to vie for Brooks Robinson, eight for cow. Right. Twenty for Frank Robinson twenty two for. Jim Palmer thirty three Eddie Murray. That's it. Yeah. That's about right. Yeah. That's about right. Yeah. That's fine. So yeah, my gut would be no on Messina. But the track record says it doesn't say anything because it's all over the place the Yankee track record on retiring numbers. They they go both ways when it comes to that. Yeah. "The other thing I wanted to get into real quick. And they're not going to belabor this is the role does Chapman to eleven. Let me tell you something right now, yoga, brag about that. If y'all want to noon on, look at me that way you gotta to eleven is a close. I got a problem with you. They just sort of been spoiled Mariana Rivera graced, the corridors of Yankee Stadium in Bronx, but then there are two decades. I'll be spoiled. Aroldis Chapman doesn't tickle. My fancy doesn't move me. Now, granted, Michael Kazin opinion on this matter might matter just a touch more than my fair enough. Let him rave about a all this Chapman father concern. I'm not no. You show up once every few days pitchbook couple of innings and you got knee problems with the hell. Are you doing your off time. Wouldn't they probably do you have what happened? Your tripped on the steps from dugout walk into the Mana, hurt your knee. You went on and get some ice cream, you're bump knees on a table while you were smoking a cigar after hours. What on earth is going on? You got any problems. What? What, what were you doing this? Say basketball? Say football Hella. They named tennis. Baseball dumbing. Why are you got nay problems. Nobody's brought that up. So guess what I have to have to has anybody miss this. I understand. It's a little stretching. It goes all you don't stretch just right. Could be a problem. So that's a hamstring issue. You're sitting there, you're wanted up and you're extending. I've got a hamstring issue. You're throwing the football, you don't baseball. That's a rotator cuff issue. When elbow issue you flicking it with a split finger fastball or something that might be a risk issue. You gotta need you what you're doing, what are you doing? What happened? I, I'm not saying it can't happen ladies and gentlemen. I'm not trying to imply that those things are not possible when I'm asking this happened. I wanna know. And I don't mean to sound like Little Richard when he was on a whole decades ago, talking to big, daddy Kane. I wanna know what to call you. Big daddy. That's not what I'm saying. That's not what I'm saying. I'm just asking a simple question how you pitch in a close at that. And you got problems what you're doing. You driving in a little dune buggy or something, and it irritated your knee. What am I missing? I just don't understand it. 'cause somebody gather an explanation that would suffice for me for my edification, please pretty pleased with she'll go on top you closer. How you got any problems. I'm just wondering. I'm just saying. It eight say ESPN editor do not three seven. The number two item on my mind. I'll get into my LeBron James stuff in a minute because evidently I'm blasphemous I've, I've been. I've been hedonist. Because I had the temerity to get a goal and say, if I had to take two of the three to play together rather than take LeBron I will take kuwa- and Kevin Durant. I don't think it's that far fetched I know LeBron is the best in the world. But if I had to pick a place specifically to play with Kawai Linnet, I would want Kevin Durant with co-piloted more than LeBron. I'll explain why a little bit more later. The other item I wanted to get to was of a more serious nature. Lays a gentleman. Urban Meyer probably is not going to lose his job. I'm just guessing..
