Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter. On a November 2nd. He is accused. This is the headline. Chris Pratt is accused of sexism. The drop in to catch this? After Instagram post, in which he called wife, Catherine Schwarzenegger, oh, that would have been a giveaway. How many towards the negatives do you know, not related to Arnold? His greatest treasure. Biden Campaigns for Newsom in California
"Happy tuesday morning and tuesday morning. Of course means it's election day somewhere right. There's a primary election in cuyahoga county ohio. Today there's a special election for a state house seat in iowa. I see you polk county. Let's be honest. The biggest election of the day the one that will directly affect forty million people and perhaps indirectly affect far more. Is the recall election for california governor gavin. Newsom it's a remarkable moment in our nation's history this recalls about catching you while you're sleeping remember. This ballot is a two. the first question is a simple one. Do you think governor gavin. Newsom should be kicked out of his job and if a majority of voters say yes you go to question two which is who besides gavin newsom should take his place then as for. Who's replacing them. I have a thought the end of the day we could be looking at just a governor serving the rest of his term or perhaps one of the most bizarre replacement projects since arnold schwarzenegger was just an actor. Abc's political director. Rick kleinman following this with bated breath so rick know we talked about how california could be his own country. What are the chances that its leader. Gavin newsom actually loses his job today. We'll brightest prospects live a lot better than they did a couple of months ago there was sort of a scare that got shot into the political landscape across california and nationally when a couple of polls came out that suggested that gavin newsom would would have a hard time getting to fifty percent of people saying that he should stay. That's the magic number more than half half the vote for him to stay for him to keep his job. It's different for the replacement candidate but the polls stabilized significantly vocalized with all kinds of energy. That you have here tonight to vote no on this republican recall and i'll tell you democrats in california. They are thrilled with the turnout numbers. They've seen they've seen people showing up about equal to their their share of the population. Which means for a democrat california. You're in pretty good shape so he could take hours beyond tonight or even into the next day or even next week depending on how close it is for all these votes to be counted keeping might every californian got a mail in ballot but gavin. Newsom feels pretty good. And i think that's one reason you saw president biden and a lot of other big guns. Try to make the case for him. Down the stretch
California Has a Lot of Recall Attempts, and Not Just for Governors
"The city of los angeles alone. There are currently three efforts underway right now to recall members of the los angeles city council and the tone of the l. a. times here is telling quote another day another recall notice in the city of los angeles. You need a grand total of five voters to get together to begin the process of calling for a recall for los angeles official five voters. Literally you can start a recall with the number of people you can fit in your camry and it's not just lay across the state of california. There are more than seventy elected officials who are facing the threat of recall just this year. Because that's how they do it in california california asked for recalls all the time you can mount a recall campaign against any statewide elected official for any reason at all if you can achieve the grand results of collecting signatures from just twelve percent of people. Who voted in the last election for that seat. Not twelve percent of registered voters but twelve percent of the number of people who voted in the last election for that seat specifically. That's all you need to be able to get that. Statewide elected official. Put up for recall as low bars. Go this is kind of so low. It just sits there on the floor and invites you to walk on it. And so every governor in california for the past sixty years as faced at one attempt to recall them And you will of course recalled the successful two thousand and three recall of democrat. California governor gray davis. That's how we ended up. Bizarrely with governor arnold schwarzenegger for a hot but now the republicans are trying again with this. Recall attempt that they are mounting against democratic governor gavin. Newsom the polls close tomorrow tonight Excuse me close tomorrow night at eight. Pm pacific time

"The end of the day it starts with a clear vision. I didn't make this up. I actually picked up from out of all people. Arnold schwarzenegger arnold schwarzenegger is probably the best example. I can think of when it comes to vision. He says it's very important to have a very clear. Simple vision that you can look at the. And i think the eighth largest Economy by gdp in the world. And i picked this up in his book. Total recall his autobiography And it's really important because there are days that are tough. There are days that are harder than others were. You're required to do things each just don't feel like doing Your might be a little burnt out. You might be a little bit tired and might be dealing with are annoying thing and I often have to go back to the vision and say to myself okay. This is what i'm doing this for. This is why it's worth me going through this slog a little bit because it's one step closer to my vision by doing this. It gets me closer to my vision. And that's how arnold schwarzenegger puts it together like every rep. He did got him. Closer to mr olympia. Every set he did gone closer to that. You know that title.

"Song by them. So three. Yes. But Linger was there I hit yeah. Three three bureau master. I like it. It's got a good taste to it the New England style. Is a great take on the IP say every time we do it because it does that bitterness in there. What makes you the hazy IPO it's the style. I'm. Not. Doing. At the time. But. This is a good one. It's got good flavor to it had an eight point, two percent Ab. That explains it. So the cans amazing Mike. Like Chris added to total six on the label. Yeah. Definitely. But overall I don't think I could drink six of them just because of the stuff like that. So I have to give it a four just like Chris to great beer and the reason is not getting a six is because I know I really should not drink six of them. Thought when it was explained to me, it wasn't about how many should drink. It's about how many you could drink trying to be responsible Laura. It's a I. Yeah. Why I'm newfound responsibility out like it. So. All right. Final up to a five. Thank you. So I'll give it a five. Out of peer pressure because probably really could drink five but yeah, really good. I like it. It's great cans. Awesome. One of the few times the can and the beer matching and this cloud shoes people. It seems the fancier the label, the worst the beer, and I'm wondering if that is on purpose, you know what that really could be a great marketing strategy make the label look. Amazing. So people go. Oh Wow, look at this. I like this style of beer wine whatever it is. Now let me try it this labels amazing, and then you just go the best part about this was the label but this delivers on both my question though to that. So your statement on how the better label spear, why would a company put out something? They didn't think was good because it takes forever to brew it and what are you GonNa do with all this beer This bashing come out the way we had hoped. All right. Give it a really good label to make up for the fact that the beer turned out. Horribly I'm thinking that's true if not putting in a pbr can't nobody will know the difference because it here's piers take two to whatever month or two. Three months I thought was I wanNA say like depending on the style too. So sometimes, it takes longer than others, but it's probably I'd say two three months and it's not like wine or hard liquor no no not as long. But you you do your brewing like huge economic batches of this stuff not like just making a court t for home. And make a gallon of sweet he not court don't know who you thought. I'm saying is your Bruin a lot at a time thinking about how many breweries that Budweiser has across country. In in itself. So just even a smaller brewery still has to brew two months a lot wanted to. Only a couple months that sucked guy on average about four weeks is usually the least time. Yeah wait. But yeah, I was saying I thought it was like three months most but like one to two months but it really does depend on the style and what you're trying to run with the beer because I some from goose island that they brewed in Bourbon barrels that have right now and it's constantly aging. So it changes like you know the flavor it tells you when you drink it by right. So there is a toll expiration date on their for where you won't get that full flavor right but they give you like a year almost to do that. And I have two bottles that I'm just letting sit and age a little more, right? Yes. Have to store it properly to. Drink on don't think people realize that. Like if you get beer called, you can't keep it out of the fridge, right? Because it's got skunk it. So if you get your cold, you put it right back in the fridge. So some people don't do that, and then you just go off man this is not good. All Right Sabrina. What's the details? Nyan say listen you wanted to reform the system and it ended up being bad for Republicans and so it's important for us to have power to do these other things that we WANNA do. That are priorities. For Republicans you might agree with or Democrats and they say we can't go and change to. What would be a fairer error districts who had? How does that choice work? If they say you WanNa make the fair district we want to keep the power so we can do the the things that we think are important. Well it's clear again. You say we wanted to keep the ballot self interest. It's it's IT'S A. It's a selfish L. Fish way of thanking because We know that the system is rigged and we know that it really hurts. The country when Democrats and Republicans are so far apart with the ideology and So stuck in the ideological corners. That can't come together so then nothing gets done. So how do we stay competitive. As a nation the other countries move ahead. China moves ahead. European Union moves ahead. Amend is a lot out of this country really India's moving ahead and I think that we have to really be competitive and the only way we can be competitive is collectively come together and say he does things we need to do. In order to fix the problem. You would say you should give up. You should not be resistant to giving up power right. which is what in the desert to change? The Laws in California was bad for California Republicans would not really it was actually good for the Republicans begins but it means that you have to be competitive and if he cannot be competitive. If you don't have better ideas than the Democrats then you're GONNA lose if you're not in touch with boaters you're GONNA lose if you didn't touch of what California's need specially what women and looking for and it was like Republicans in California lost a huge amount of women. Why because these issues education issues or environmental issues healthcare Asia's when addressed the Republicans did just would talk about money? The neons You know factories. And how do we protect the companies. How predict business noted that is oh great we should predict businesses and we should predict the economy in orders but we have to the same time have a sound healthcare system that people can go and get the treatments and California's the number one st eight and we should have the number one health care system? And that's what we should shoot foot but they had absolutely no interest in talking about that and In the same was within bomb. The women were very interested in a clean environment. They were worried about the kids in the water. They drink in order stuff and be couldn't even guarantee anymore. The water in every one of the towns is safe life into the ground is safe to women. were interested those issues. Not Republicans were not all they kept. Denying the days in pollution Shindig kept denying the day's global warming to keep denying this climate change in order stuff see what is arising and as dangers ahead In in and women just said look. I'm Outta Outta here. I so data they kind of Really did this to themselves. Not The redistricting resistance created the fear atmosphere That you had to be more competitive so it was. It gave everyone a chance to win. So you know that's why I disagree with you that day when you say it makes you lose and you cannot protect your job you can protect your job. As much as Olympic champion can protect his medal and come back again and do it again but he has to be the best he this the only way you can protect. You can't shoot in at because you had already a metal that you could shoot in because the way the system works and so would I wanted to create is I wanted to kind of take my Republican hat off. When do which you have to do? Because I didn't really want to look at who is an advantage disadvantage. I just wanted to make it fair and even for everybody in everyone has the same shot than everyone can go and campaign and show the de performing deaf vision and they have of great goals for the state notice and then they get laid get elected look at me. I was in a state that was definitely sixty percent Democrats whereas the forty percent of Republicans and elected as a Republican because I was in the campaign to talk about the issues did not just Republican issues but there was environmental lugers and healthcare issues then migration issues. Let let me ask you with your Republican hat. On though a there are a bunch of California Republicans who are who've left the Republican Party. The Republican Party has changed a lot in the last few years Chatham as WHO's the former Republican assembly leader in December announced announced. He was leaving the Republican Party. He's a person you've worked with. You are not leaving the Republican Party. What makes you stay well? It's I think I'm a true Republican if you look at Ronald Reagan overlooked president. Nixon Prison Lincoln. I'm in desma. People dead were fighting for equality. I'm in Lincoln. Think about that. I mean it was really so far ahead when it comes to giving equal rights to blacks and getting rid of slavery and giving them the voting rights being inclusive So I'm inclusive. I I see myself as that as soon as as Ronald Reagan Republican Someone that is very very good. Predicting the economy but also good in protecting the environment them Ronald Reagan created to first air resources put in California that enables us to really have total control over the embalming dominant issue and be able to set goals. Like fifty percent doers or reducing greenhouse gases by twenty. Five percent does that all can be done through the air resources which Ronald Reagan created any was governor and the same thing as the case with Nixon Nixon was in those striving for was first created that EPA yea In in Washington to protect the environment but at the same time he wanted to have universal healthcare. So but party. And isn't that isn't that Kinda. The Republican gone. Isn't that Republican Party. Dad know that the party changes. But you don't have to change your principles. Apply to changes in the get go one way or the other and what might responsibilities is to keep reminding everyone. This is what the true Republican Party is all about and we should not just change because new president does. He then came in that he may be. He's a little bit. You know different in his approach and orders I think that we should really as Republicans fight fight for totally quality. Have the people who've left. The party made the wrong decision. No I look it's like it's like an in training and in a bodybuilding. I mean there was guys did with doing twenty reps of twenty cents To get the the most muscular chest and I was doing in five different exercises of five cents each of twelve repetitions so who was riding. Who was wrong while you petitions? I wanted to communicate this other guys. Also ahead fantastic hostak pectoral muscles and fantastic jess and so it is different training principles to get in shape. You may say I like BICYC- to keep in shape someone else's I love running You know kind of Every day may seven miles. Someone else says you know. I like to go to the gym and go from one exercise machine to the next so everyone. So there's a dispute about it but who is ride news wrong and read so that to me is really no ride in the wrong. I think what it is is if if someone feels like the Republican Party has left them the Dan relieving the Republican Party but the Republican Party is left them therefore IFA perfectly fine find stepping out of the Republican Party become an independent. That's derogatory. I I think that if it makes them feel good. I support that one hundred percent and I would endorse a candidate that anytime because to me. It's comes always down to one thing whereas the hot of that candidate is it really help people always into kind of like to support the Party and be a party. Hack d wear that. You're going to be the last one left. No this many indium too. Many of us have been thinking about. You know the guy that I always love talking to that kind of things like me is John Casick and and he and I we both say there's so many of us out there in no. It's it's very clear that people are not you know people try to be supportive of the trump and that's good report. Republicans should be supported trump especially some who were. I'm very very supportive of some of the issues that the deals with and I'm not support. If any comes to the environment you have a lot the thoughts about all this. Do you think about what you want your role to be over the course of this next year and as the country figures out what its future is politically you you know. I won't be as supportive as possible to get things done. And to demean the America is the most important nothing not a political position and That's why I have no interest in running myself. Why knitting for Senator for Congress or anything like that Can't I can't really imagine you as a freshman member of the house will be overnight senior member just because of But the but the but I just I think I can do a lot of good from the outside. I became very passionate about issues interesting. Thing is that when I ran my wife said to me you know that you will be very good in politics and it will be very good in running for office competitive. You know exactly how to sell yourself how to communicate an office causing you're very disciplined and moving around and to get to the to the rallies and to fire them up and you always if the energy knows but I ran deal when it comes to sitting in your office and doing policy you will get bored put.

"Wait what what World War zero it is new climate coalition which includes the usual players as far celebrities and politicians former presidents Bill Clinton Jimmy Carter former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger Leonardo di Caprio Ashton Kutcher to name a few from Hollywood the loss did yesterday with sixty founding members and what World War zero is supposed to do is to motivate you to discuss climate change in a more aggressive way by comparing it to a World War in other words the only way to win for climate change to change it to save the planet is to treat it like World War two so does that mean we're gonna shut down the automotive factories in build wind turbines like they do you know it's sort of like they did shut down the automotive factories built planes to win World War two that's the kind of effort they're talking about so I hope for those of us well skeptical about the holding the first thing that comes to mind here's what the organization is going to do they're going to travel all around the country to talk about climate change how old do you think they're getting to where they're going to bother flying all across the country of course increasing their carbon footprint exponentially by doing this we've got that story about Greta Thunberg coming up a little bit later to tell you how dare you anyway we have little reaction here from Marc Morano exact doctor at climate depot dot com this is John Kerry once again he calls himself the top roof he's marrying the top route with the grass roots and he's got a bunch of the millionaire owning a mansions mansion owning millionaires together to fight this climate effort with the same names we've seen everyone from Arnold Schwarzenegger to case sick who been at this battle for years but.

"It is the live Sunday edition of the show. And joining you in the studio here tonight, you've got Ian Ritchie, rich and Mark. Of course you can bring up anything that you want. That is the point here on free talk live and last night. I did mention a story that we didn't get to. And so I do want to get to that, because it is a little bit of good news, actually coming out of California, because we had the bad news last night that we started the show without of Beverly Hills where they have now banned the sale of tobacco and nicotine products too. Anyone period within the city limits unless you're buying it from a cigar shop. So those the bad news. One of on the cigar shops is it relented, I believe. Later that it turns out that was Arnold Schwarzenegger. He's on the, he's on the okay list tobacco products from the governor..

"But there were also posters on the wall of, you know, whoever Arnold Schwarzenegger, and his prime where you could you could immediately understand that, okay that this is actually going into direction that is fairly unusual, and esoteric and. And hard one. And it's you know if my biceps don't look like that. You know, barring genetic anomalies, you know is because I'm not making precisely the effort that is required to get your biceps to look like that. So if I and so it's, it's the, the I think it's important to without any religious bullshit or, or dogmatism. And because I you know, all of this is anchored to my experience, but I think it's important to give people an expectation of just what, what success looks like and what, what is actually there to be noticed? And so I there's more of that, that comes into my, my instruction than than is normal. I think some people find that very valuable, but some people can find it distracting. So it's interesting so to what is very useful about the norm of a positive approach that you've described is to remove expectations. I. Think that that is a an obstacle to developing a successful habit, just to like, if you if you have this expectation, and all of a sudden, you've been meditating for four months, and it's not happening for you. Then you're more likely to give it up. And so I found again I only have experience with ten percent. Happier one, they're really good about just this is a habit. They approach it like they would approach basketball practice or you know, piano practice there's going to be frustrating times. There's it that it doesn't matter just do the thing, and we'll talk about where we're going later in some ways, I think one.

"I wonder what the guy was mad about. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if he's gotten any whoever the attacker, was, I don't know if he's received any, you know, coverage or whatever. But, but I thought that thought that there was an interesting development here and from a perspective of forgiveness because, you know, a lot of people wanna see blood they wanna see somebody get their head chopped off in the public square. They're interested in in seeing retribution against people who have committed in an act of harm. And according to Fox News, Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced as of Sunday, that he will not be pressing charges against the man accused of assaulting him over the. Weekend. Interesting. He says, a lot of you have asked, but I'm not pressing charges said the seventy one year old Terminator star says I hope this was a wakeup call and he gets his life on the right track. But I'm moving on and I'd rather focus on the thousands of great athletes that I met at Arnold sports Africa. Who's at a special event there in Johannesburg South Africa called Arnold classic Africa, which is where the man rushed and then drop kicked Scharzenegger from behind he wasn't hurt. But did approve appear briefly startled? He had said that it felt like somebody, you know, jostled him from behind that. It wasn't a, you know, a, a major hit to him in any way shape for the thing is when you watch the video. The guy was so small. Yeah. That compared to Schwarzenegger. Okay. Who's huge. You didn't. It was not. He did not go flying like you expect from a two footed flying drop kick. Which is what he got. Yeah. He barely, you know, barely moved forward. I mean again of stumbled a little move forward. Probably five or six feet. Ed say shortly after the incident Schwarzenegger tweeted, quote, thanks for your concerns, but there's nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I'm just glad the idiot didn't interrupt. My snapchat. Early barely Arnold Schwarzenegger's on Snapchat. Yeah. So anyway, it goes on to talk about the, the event that they have. And I just I thought it was interesting because, you know, Schwarzenegger engaging in a little bit of forgiveness here for this, you know, misled confused young person who was, you know, thought probably thought it was cool, or trying to get some attention or whatever wanted his fifteen minutes of fame and to, to not go after and I agree with what toward Snegur's saying here is look, he's got things to do you know. You don't want to spend your time focusing on a lawsuit, or criminal charges, or whatever this. The guy didn't do any real harm. I mean arguably, if drop kicker had caused some harm than you could argue that, okay, fine. Go after them get a little bit of compensation for any damage done. You had to go to the hospital for instance. And sometimes that can happen from things seem trivial. Have you seen the the video of this woman who pushed an old man off a bus? And yeah he was in the hospital for a month in any died. Oh, god. He was an old man with a Walker. And apparently, she was she was being pushed off all those moving up earth. No, it was. She was being obstreperous this. She was getting on the bus, and the old man told her she should be nicer to people. So she just took both hands and pushed him off the bus. So he goes out the door and faith flat on his face the concrete with his Walker. Yeah. No. I mean this is. Is is a piece work. Yeah. No, I had not heard. I said that lead to some sort of exact exacerbate of some conditions in any passed away as, as a result, you. Yeah. I mean my guess is it resulted in a closed head injury? And my father at the same thing he fell..

"They are lazy. They're stupid. They're irresponsible. The can't fire them. And you know, this doesn't mean that. There aren't great teachers. I mean, this is the problem a lot of tea a lot of parents have experiences of wonderful teachers, and they say, oh, we must support the teacher's union. Those teachers should be working for private schools all schools should be private. You can have required him education. You can have everybody having the right to have an education and still have an entirely private competitive edge education school system. You know, there's no reason to have these unions, which are not supposed to be allowed to strike in the first place, you there's no reason to have these unions, basically, supporting their teachers and not supporting the kids the entire thing. The entire thing about the teacher's union is one of the most corrupt organizations in the country almost everywhere. It exists. I think that all these schools should be school choice for everybody that should be charter schools, obviously, people should be it should be required. That people get an education, but competition free markets work, and they make things better and state run things always become lousy and unions to have public unions. Public unions should not exist altogether. Even after the Janice decision. Teachers unions are making it so difficult for the teachers that want to opt out we if things here in LA cold rubber room, where guys even if the US fire them, you know, it's absurd, and I hope they they'll never get defeated because our government is as left wing is the teacher's union. But I wish they would just be smushed a union that needs to be crushed preach has what advice do you have for young men who are uncomfortable in their current state of manliness, I often feel inadequate compared to my other friends who seem to be finding relationships easier than I you know, I it's a really good question. But I want to go back to the answer that I had before. I mean, you become a man by by being a man. No, you don't become a man by imitating things that you think are traits of manhood. I know I know guys listen, I know guys if you looked at him, you think he's he's got a Wimpy attitude or something like that. But he will stand against a tie to do the right thing. I know plenty of guys like that. You don't have to look like Humphrey Bogart or Arnold Schwarzenegger to to do the manly thing, which has to do with two things, integrity and courage. It has to do with being who you say, you are and having the courage to stand even when people think you're wrong, and even when it's difficult. I mean, those are the things that make for manhood. It's not about you know, Boston your wife around. It's not about striding down the street with a big walk. It's about none of those things about integrity and courage. You learn those things in action, you know. So like, if I you know, the military, I think makes men out of people, I think it really doesn't know it's cliche. But I think it does. I think getting out and doing stuff that is active doing stuff that you were afraid of is really helpful. You know, it will make you realize that oh, I can do this. I do have courage, you know, because courage, courage is not fearlessness and some people are fearless. And that's a wonderful gift, but courage, doing the stuff that you're afraid of. So do those things, and and you will find your manhood comes in fits you like a suit, you know, it's like it's not gonna look like movie manhood. It doesn't have to look like movie manhood, it'll be yours. And and that's all you need..

So are you saying Scott, there's a point in the movie commando or Arnold Schwarzenegger says I'm a commander? I think if I were to go see the movie to it. I don't recall every scrap of dialogue. But if he never said, I'm a commando in that. I don't know what the fuck the makers of that film are thinking because that is a clause line city. I'm a commando everyone goes. You know, I'm hosting the W as on February seventeen. Are you really and calling it a scrap of dialogue? I mean, just on behalf of the WPA. That is you're right. You're right. I it's not respectful to my fellow brothers. They're not writing scraps. Although sometimes when I've been writing things, I would write something down on. That's true. That's true. You're known for kind of junkie. So what are you? So you do know what happened to your dad or you don't know what happened your dad, you begged them not to go. I picked him not to go. I said those let them let them be let be in their natural environment. Tells and destabilizing Central American governments. And he said, no, he was a harsh, man. I love my dad. She this Christ. Sorry. He hadn't had his blooding ceremony up to this point. You know, I have a lot of anger towards my dad. Yeah. Boy. But you know, he's your dad, I have a colleague who can help you with this. And some of you may already seen it. And if you haven't seen I encourage you to watch it's eight time, Mr. Limpia, Ronnie Cohen everybody knows in buddy, but running communist, he's like an icon. He's probably the as opposed to during the Arnold Schwarzenegger. Probably the best buddy builder to ever grace, the stage and a lot of people probably would agree with me. So runny Kalman just came out with his new documentary. And unfortunately, why found why saw done about you. But I actually saw again bodybuilding being portrayed in a very negative lights. And that makes me feel sad. If you watched a DVD. A lot of people would feel really sorry for runny because he really put his body on the line when he was champion when he was king of the jungle when he was eight Thomas juryman Pia. I mean, he did things that no one ever really did. I mean, he put some muscle on a frame that you think can this guy get any bigger, but winning eight signed hours winning eight Mr. limp is amazing. It's it's it's one of the best ever records in buddy Lee. Haines matched his record. Why am I bringing this up? So you watch that new DVD's see Ronnie Komen walking around hobbling around combatti will he's in so much pain because of all the back issues that he has and you still say the man getting up every morning in pain going to the gym and doing what he loves.
