"Those guys never leave their post. Look at me. He never punches out. But also would be funny Mike, said well. Yeah, but then what happens when you see the COP looting Stereo store and I'm like no, just he's running in and everyone else would run out when he ran in. The stream. I had A. Two ideas give this been going on for a long time. Give all those guys give all this homeless guys, cop uniforms and really have a presence number one number two. Somebody tweeted me this idea that I forgot about but God damn. Is it true we were talking to billy or bill yesterday or Korean durant belly? Liquor store on her right Korean Dad was killed working there. Some years ago, Blah Blah Blah, but I always said down in south central La Ninety. Two. There's plenty of pictures a Korean dudes on the roof of their liquor store with fucking bolt action rifles and a cigarette go in. Don't come near the front of this door. I will shoot your ass and I always said now. We don't have enough Koreans to go around, but I said if if you have a business where you have the plastic owl on top roof, so the eagles shit all over the signed. Korean with the gun up there don't leave it out all year. You know what I'm saying. Yeah Yeah. Don't don't put the AL on top of it even if even a sequel shit on it. Clearly ruins the millers. No You keep it and use it sparingly, which is, don't put it out for the fourth of July when the beach crowd is showing up, but when we have one of these big riots put it out. Put it on top light that cigarette hanging out cigarettes put out. Make sure they al is not on it. Scare, way bunch fucking people from looting your tennis shoe store. Well, you know we've. We've come a long way at them. Because now the pictures going around and I don't know if they've made a difference. I haven't seen any of the after. Only the before a lot of people putting foam core like neon posters on their store windows, saying put in this is an immigrant owned business, so there's a definitely a wide chasm between how we used to do it and how we do it now. The thing about the immigrant owned is when you're setting Ferguson Missouri on fire, everything, Marria- sort of owned by the community, or at least employed by the community I. don't I don't think there's a marcus of Queensbury. Rule for for for that I. Really don't. It'd be nice if there was. Let's see. Let's talk to what I like to do to ward off the looters as I put my coexist bumper sticker out. Okay, so that what that does is make everyone realize. Hey, it's time for cleanse. Together yeah, we need to come together. You do that. I put the. There's no room for hate. Sign Up. That's then ain't no to go elsewhere. Mike, Thirty six entire county. Yo I don yellow did. I just I wish Mike. The COP was still on the phone before I. Get to my question, just youtube video. It's been around probably almost ten years now it's titled Either Never talked to the police or or Don't talk to the police like ever, and it's literally a law school lecturer. It's about fifty minutes and one of the students is like in the forties, and he's even a police officer, and after the law professors done explaining why it is almost never never helpful for you to speak. Speak to a police officer at least without an attorney present because it never helps you only hurt you, and if you watch that help anybody in so many situations with these cops because growing up in La I'm like you. I've been in situations where you know these shylock and they're like the genus on the scene. You know they have no idea what's happened. They've been called somewhere and it's just like okay, so you over there you over here. No still sought their comeback your man! No, no, no! And you know they start taking control because that's what they do, but anyways I WANNA get to my point, which was about? California, I've read all your books I know you're. You're a native like I am? How like I'm totally? Totally almost I've lost all my faith, a little bit and humanity, but sticking just California and what we've seen not just the politicians, but also the people and I'll stop this this word from soon but how I mean, how stupid has people really go and from what you've seen like in general the public? Okay, you know what I mean like. They say not to engage crave. Speaking of which yes I I'm thinking about this. I know a lot of intelligent people and I know a lot of educated people so what we're who who who believe in a lot of crazy shit. Which is to say? I don't think it's about stupid. As we used to define stupid, you know when I was growing up. Will, you had one yardstick to measure whether you're stupider smart those where your? That was your report card, and that's the way we spoke about it. Go that kids smart man sit next to them during the tech. That could stupid. You don't WanNa, sit next to Adam Corolla or rail hoffer Chris Bom during a tag sample for example, and so it was like stupid smart, and we got it, and then at some point, people figured out well those other types of intelligence, and it's not all just about being getting a good score on your sat's. What I realize is there's a lot of people I know who are educated well educated, and they also have a lot of resources. They have a lot of information. They read. They watch the news up on current events, and so on and so forth they also make a lot of bad not decisions like I'm drunk driving, but they they process information in a bizarre way such as. The as I've always told you, my wife's friend, who was screaming that Matt Damon needed to shut up when he was talking about Al. Franken, not a rapist, you know the same information is us. Come to the bad conclusions. Yes, and they're not stupid and they're educated, so I started to really realize that. were. What we're calling stupid is horse sense common sense like a basic common sense. You know where I find. People all the time. Will you know why would? So and so do this or like. Someone is I've mentioned before like he'd say. Mark Zuckerberg gave six million dollars to malaria radicalization in Africa, and then somebody goes six million. That's nothing. That's six million more than they had before that six million more than you've ever offered up and please. Let's use some commonsense. Some horse sense like figuring out solving problems so and so like I was looking at. Like Lance Armstrong, watching the land aren't Lance Armstrong Doc! Everyone hates Lance Armstrong Lance is raised kajillions dollars for cancer and helped Jillions of people cancer. Yeah, but he lied okay. Fine what have you done for cancer number one and then number two. Would you prefer that Lance? Armstrong was never born. Or that he was born, and he worked at a supermarket entire life. I'm happy that Lance Armstrong art raised you. Don't compete it right? Race Kajillions.

"It but also the if there is no college ten you have college sports and what does that say about the whole enterprise right of student athletes. If they're not actually students even vaguely in a pretend way at this point that seemed to be the prevailing thought a month ago. Do you feel like that's changed a little bit that some schools. We could have football even if the schools reporting online. I feel like it's changed and I'm selling the backlash to his comments. As a result Paul Finebaum told me last week that he feels as though college football right now in. The sentiment around is like a stock market. It's up it's down it's up it's down your right not even months weeks ago. What he's saying that it'd be weird to have football without students. That was the consensus now. It's spurring backlash and my only take away from that is maybe we should all wait a little bit before forming aggressive opinions about what to do or whatnot to do because the thoughts on the seem to be changing week to week. So you believe there's still time to think this over some are saying we need to know on June fifteen. You believe there's time they can get it up and go and talk Frank Have you very interesting? We have a president of a major university. That's concerned about education and the health and well being of the student body. We're this guy come from Mars. Was You big time college football? I do believe only that in the south and you think about the way the country us this pandemic that we're in right now. It seems like in the South football is gonNA start on time. I can see in other parts of the country. Where maybe they won't have football. I know we still have a long way to go but the president right here is kind of warning you about it. My question then is. Can you have a big ten without Michigan or can you? Have you know some of these power five conferences with only eighty percent of the conference playing in the game? So I'M NOT GONNA MOTHER SCHOOLS. Who knows what other school but the idea that. Yes we're going to crown a champion but our league only had seven of the ten teams in it. It's an interesting dilemma going forward. We'll move on buyer sell to Lance Armstrong Lance Armstrong. I imagine the Cigar Jordan is smoking right now. Seeing this documentary.

"With some people last night and a lot of them at least seen parts of the funeral yesterday for George H W Bush, and all we're talking about how touching it was. And a lot of cinnamon of what a great man when you really look at the history of that guy and everything that he did what he meant to people was really good and one of them made the comment and tomorrow, we'll be back to well fighting and at each other's throats again. Yeah, I I don't even know if it took that long it didn't. I mean. Jeez. Predicting that tomorrow, we'll get back to pouncing on Donald Trump that was a little bit charitable in these troubled times in which we live because I I tuned in to one segment on MSNBC from not long after the funeral ended. So this is like a tape delayed thing I was watching where they were simultaneously praising George H W Bush, and then saying that Donald Trump so somehow ruined the funeral. Just by being there. And then he shouldn't have shown up at all. I mean, it was so weird this back and forth that all of this was about Donald Trump. And this is how much he lives in these people's heads rent-free because they can't even look at the powerful statements that were made by George H W Bush's son, George W Bush anybody else who was talking yesterday. You can't even make it about that for like six hours. It all has to be about Donald Trump. Yeah, that's pathetic. But that's not real people. No, it's not. That's just the media. That's just the game that they play and people see through it more on that in a second. Yeah. And so you also have C N N's. Don, lemon could not resist trashing Donald Trump for just being at George H W Bush's funeral. His point was that it was beyond reproach for Trump to show up at the funeral to honor the president's life because he said mean things about the Bush family, and he also hated the fact that Barack Obama shook Donald Trump's hand. So just before we get to the clip all set it up here. It's about how Obama showed respect for the office. But they shouldn't do it. Okay. All of might, you know, I I look at this right now as maybe a blessing as we do this pre show every Don lemon clip that I had somehow was obliterated out of my computer. I'm not saying act of God. Okay. I'm not speaking forgot on this. I'm wondering right now. I think it's still on your. It's they said, no, let's not do this. Well, I want to do this because I think they need to be. Respect for the office. Yes. The way they conducted themselves. There's no scandal. There was no trash. There was no affair was. Amen. They show the ultimate respect for the office. They do not have to show respect for someone who does not respect them. That's real brother. That's real there. No scandals not one scandal in the Obama administration. Good talk. This is why this guy has no credibility, man. No, they honored the office by not being involved in any scandal whatsoever. Isn't that interesting way to revise history? Oh, isn't man. I know and you and I kind of go back and forth on this. Because you're like this needs to be exposed. This is ridiculous. Yeah. And there are times where I'm like, you know, what this shouldn't even be paid attention to this guy doesn't matter. I mean, I understand he has an audience. How many people do you know, that you really respect the political opinion? Or like, you know, what I think Don limited very good at his job. Are there any I think the point is though is whenever you hear anybody from CNN or NBC get their own tail pipes about how this is about facts. I, and we are just journalists doing our jobs whenever Jim Acosta's out there harassing any member of the administration need to expose the fact that these are political operatives they have a point of view, and they're going to express it on a daily basis. Okay. Don't buy into this hype machine that they're fair and balanced. I know you think I tanked it. And that really I do have the Don lemon clips on this, computer. They're gone, okay. I don't know how it happened. I'm actually looking right now, how did that happen? Well, that's all right. Well, he doesn't think that Trump should have even been invited to the funeral by the way in office is is not a human being. I don't think that's respect for the human being if you talk smack about them, if you say the nastiest things about them, if you treat them as subs human, and then you want to show up at their funeral really L. I'll tell you what I would. Hell to the no, yes. News anchor. Okay. It happens all the time, by the way down. To enough funerals. Sometimes it's brothers that had a huge falling out. And then one dies and one brother said awful things about the other one. And then all of a sudden someone dies and all that stuff. Doesn't matter. You want to do the right thing. And what are the Bush family do reach out to the trumps and say, we want you here, we don't we don't want to do what others have done not saying anybody else handled it wrong, George H W Bush would not want that he would want you here. Well, it's so weird to also honor. And remember the memory of her honor, the memory rather of somebody like, George H W Bush for being able to sort of rise above in a lot of cage, petty, politics and the petty personality disagreements all of that stuff personality clashes. I mean. And then you have so many people like this guy on the media squawking about how what we need to be more petty. You can't simultaneously say Trump's a bad guy because he's got rid of decorum in Washington did start with Trump. But whatever. Verleger day. You can't blame him for this. And then say everyone should act like this example that you say so bad everybody needs to be petty to avoid the petty miss. It makes no sense. Yeah. I mean I've had enough. I look at it like this. You can say what you what about Trump decorum? What is presidential? What isn't what should be tweeted? What should and certainly on this show and we've been ripped on. By different people. "Com. It's great. I mean, you know, what it is. If you love that group. It's a bit of a historic group were together for so many years. If you like that group. It's great. If you don't it's very annoying. Being honest with you. But it's terrific try it out. And by the way, speaking of podcasts coming up a little bit later on Kristina Ferrari is going to join us. She has a book coming out. But also there is a different podcast. I do call Steve Edwards confessions, and it's a great one with Christina about her life from the time. She was a kid model teenage model supermodel movie star talk show, host bestselling author businesswoman. And somebody now who is dealing with multiple myeloma and dealing with it. Well, and also the heartbreak of losing one of the greatest jobs in the world for her and how difficult it was for her to deal with that. So all that's on the podcast, and she'll be joining us here in about an hour about an hour or so, okay. Welcome back. He doesn't get it. He just doesn't get it who am I talking about Lance Armstrong. Lance Armstrong was once a sports hero here in America. He was the greatest bike rider in history. Most Americans who never follow the bike races. Couldn't tell you the about them. They could tell you about Lance Armstrong and what to Europe, and he went all the big races, etc. And then we found out the beyond his denials. He was a phony matter of fact, pretty much everybody riding bikes were phonies. I think there were all doing it. But he was the champion. He lied all the time. He cheated he doped all the time. Now, you could forgive him for that you could over time. We're a forgiving people we believe in second chances oftentimes third chances. But he also was brutal. He was a bully. He made life miserable for anybody. He thought might be telling about him. He doped his way to seven tour de France titles. That was great. You know, he was wonderful. And then he fell hard. He was ruthless in. What he did? He ruined the lives of others to protect his image. Former teammates support staff competitors reporters, anybody who threatened to expose the myth of Lance was bullied discredited in defamed. There was a woman named Emma O'Reilly. She was a masseuse for the US postal team. Just one of the first in his inner circle to acknowledge. Yes, he's doping. Well, what did he do publicly called alchoholic and a whore? Tyler Hamilton went right after him. Physically. He he was bad guy. Even Sheryl Crowe. I think got tired of them didn't want to soak in the sun with him. But I would say this. We believe in redemption, except he's still a jerk. And that's the problem. Got a couple of marks against music. Great bike rider turned out to be. And he was doping. All right. We like heroes. This is why you can't have too many of them. He turned out to be doping all the time. So was everybody else? He turned out to be horrible bully after all of that. But over time, maybe, you know, redemption, we believe in redemption when I say, he doesn't get it. He really doesn't get it. So goes on the air on the today show. These winding you saying there's been the worst six years of his life since all of this happened. And then he says. You know, other people are, okay. Why am I still the villain me? I've done so much good. And remember his foundation did do good. It really did good. That was part of the hero image of him. And then he says that he's really kind of ticked off that Alex Rodriguez. A rod a cheater in baseball a guy. He was at at any moment the best player in baseball. But he was all steroid it up. And of course, he lied, and he denied any lie and he denied and. And you know, he kinda got caught he made hundreds of millions of dollars and at the end of his career is with the Yankees. And is a weird thing in sports. And I think I've talked about this before. If there's a guy playing on another team, and he's a cheater you hate him. You hate him. But then he comes to your teeth, and.

"And then you wanna show up at their funeral. Really? I'll tell you what I would hell to the no yes news anchor. Okay. It happens all the time by the way down deep into enough funerals. Sometimes it's brothers that had a huge falling out. And then one dies and one brother said awful things about the other one. And then all of a sudden someone dies and all that stuff. Does it matter and you wanna do the right thing? And what are the Bush family do reach out to the trumps and say, we want you here, we don't we don't want to do what others have done not saying anybody else handled it wrong, but George H W Bush would not want that he would want you here. Well, it's so weird to also honor. And remember the memory of or honor, the memory rather of somebody like, George H W Bush for being able to sort of rise above in a lot of the petty politics and the petty personality disagreements and all of that stuff personality clashes. I mean. And then you have so many people like this guy on the media squawking about how well we need to be more petty. You can't simultaneously say Trump's a bad guy because he's gotten rid of decorum in Washington been star with Trump or whatever. That's right. Taking for later day. You can't blame him for this. And then say everyone should act like this example that you say so bad everybody needs to be petty to avoid the pettiness. It makes no sense. Yeah. I mean I've had enough. I look at it like this. You can say what you what about Trump decorum? What is presidential? What isn't what should be tweeted? What shouldn't and certainly on this show and we've been ripped on. By different people. No, it's about Neil Armstrong and being the first man on the moon. Which they're not gonna show apparently the planting of the flag. But Jeffey was saying earlier off the air. I think that he heard the flag is on the moon. They just don't show the planting of it. Well, that's, I mean, we maybe we made a bigger deal out of that that serves just didn't show that scene. I don't know how excited we need to get about that. But anyway, well, I was looking for a decent movie to watch, came across the top thirty movies of all time. The top box office. Okay. Of all time at number thirty in the worldwide box. Office take is Star Wars Episode. One, the Phantom Menace top thirty movie of all time. That was kind of crappy movie charger banks went to it is that's that's true that had a domestic box office of four hundred seventy four million. It made one billion twenty seven million worldwide. One billion twenty seven billion at number twenty. Nine ahead of Star Wars despicable me three at one billion thirty, four million. But it didn't do as well domestically, two hundred and sixty four million. At number twenty eight Jurassic Park the original one billion thirty eight million. Have you seen the new one dress world? Did you ever go to that? Honestly, don't know that I saw anything after the first one. Maybe the second one. You just you're not interested in him. Dinosaurs. Yeah, pirates of the Caribbean and number twenty seven on that list. Pirates of the Caribbean on stranger tides. That's one with Penelope Cruz. I didn't go. That's I think that's the only one I haven't seen in that series wrote one Star Wars story number twenty six pirates of the Caribbean deadman's chest number twenty. Five Toy Story three twenty fourth. And did you know that twenty that Toy Story four is coming out. I heard that. Yes, I thought they already did everything they needed to do with that kid. It went to. He went to college and the toys all kind of ended their deal, and it was over. He gave the toys to the little girl. I think Toy Story four, probably going to be based in a antique store. I don't know what you can do. Come on number twenty three. The dark Knight rises twenty two transformers age of extinction. That's the one they just did. I think sky fall at number twenty one. What are the JAMES BOND movies. Wow, transformers dark side of the moon number twenty. I've never. I haven't seen these transformers movies, Lord of the rings, return of the king at nineteen eighteen captain America's civil war minions. The seventeenth biggest movie of all time minions. Seriously. It's because of because internationally did eight hundred.
