"A 22, a teenager was found unresponsive earlier today in Arlington county, as WTO's dick giuliano reports the boy suffered an apparent drug overdose at Wakefield high school, Arlington county police say the boy was found in a bathroom around 9 30 in the morning, Andy's hospitalized in critical condition. Four other boys were evaluated at the scene by medics. Police collected evidence and spoke with witnesses before offering the preliminary assessment of a drug overdose. Vdot rules about what constitutes an HOV are changing. Right now, an HOV is a vehicle with two or more occupants, but starting Monday, December 5th, you'll need to have three or more to qualify for toll free driving. The sheriff's office has charged hash with threats to bomb and attempted act of terrorism, and it says Fredericksburg police have tacked on charges of threats of death, threats to bomb and falsely summoning police. "County landscaper is suing Arlington county for not paying him nearly a million bucks an extra construction cost. McDonald landscape claims the county severely underestimated the amount of soil concrete and excavation work at a park near the east falls church metro. The company also claims the county did not include traffic management during the work at Benjamin banneker park. A county spokesman says he can't comment on pending litigation. Arlington's already offered McDonald landscaping $272,000 to settle this, but the company turned it down. The Washington Post reports the county claims it was a lump sum contract and not based on unit pricing like the company claims. In other news, there is some good stuff for metro rail riders. Just before one in the afternoon, and arundel county fire officials say two pickup trucks collided in owings, leading to a major fire along Chesapeake Bay road between sansbury road and route two, two children were seriously injured, both of them were flown to a trauma center with life threatening injuries. The other victims to adults, both were also taken to a nearby trauma center with serious injuries. Now investigators are still working to piece together what led to the crash.
