"Beauty of the show the way it is now. Well, I forgot about it. So good recovery, right? Yeah. So let me place on my shack eye gear frames here to be able to look at the rest of these stories because I got to look at this blue light emitting screen to check the perfect, all the other breaking news we have around the sport, heading into day. We've got Nick Sanchez. He's going to run the remainder of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity series schedule a big machine racing. He was he's already run three races this year. He had a 29th place finish and his debut with the team. Finished 11th at Texas and 12th this past week in new Vegas, he will now run the final three races for the team. He also ran two races earlier in the year for BJ McLeod motor sports in the Xfinity series as well. He's of course, the 2022 Arkham Menard series champion and it looks like the future is pretty bright from mister Nick Sanchez. Chase purdy, who's run the entire season this year for Tori racing enterprises and is really kind of started to get some decent results as the season has gone on. I know things started off a little rocky. He missed Daytona due to a mechanical failure in his qualifying run and had some really shaky results early on, but he's had some really good consistency as of late, but he will not return to the team in 2023. He and the team have mutually decided to part ways. Lane Riggs, the son of former Cup Series driver Scott Riggs, will be returning to hallmark freeze in racing for the season finale at Phoenix and the truck series. Lane Riggs is of course a pretty big standout up and coming driver from the cars tour. And it's been doing a lot of local short track racing stuff. And he's now working his way up the NASCAR ladder, and we talk about guys with local level carry. We got one last thing from a guy who's worked his way to the NASCAR ladder from the local levels. You ready for this? I am ready. Josh berry, who has locked his way into the championship four with his win this past weekend at Vegas is now moving back to junior motor sports for 2023. So he'll be back for the entire full season next year in the Xfinity series and we'll see if he wins a championship in a few weeks, but Josh Barry has earned it. I'd say 5 wins and a year and a part time year, and he now has three wins this season is going to the championship four. Well deserved for Josh. Good to see. I'll take these Shaq I year glasses off since I don't have to look at the screen anymore. If you want some Shaq I get your glasses and why wouldn't you? Go check out gear dot com and use promo code mamba 34 at checkout. You get 20% off of a nice fresh pair of these things and they work well. They're awesome. Very cool. Let's take a look at homestead Miami speedway on the horizon this weekend, all three series are in action. Cup Series, 34 of 36 on the schedule 1.5 miles in length. The purse is $7.3 million, but the big prize is launching yourself in the championship four if you get the win. That's huge. Yeah, no, it's massive. There's a lot online right now. But at the same time, I know Logano broke through this past weekend in Vegas and secured his place in the championship before. But when you look at the overall playoffs kind of thing and how we've gotten to this point, play after I was having fared very well in these playoff races. So there's still the chance that a guy that isn't in the playoff field wins this thing. We're also in the 19 different winners. We've got guys who have been very close all year long like Blaney, who's still in the playoffs. Martin Truex junior, who's outside the playoffs. We've got lots of guys who can still win this thing. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. Banking up to 20°, the front stretch and backstretch equidistant. 1760 feet, cup races, 267 laps or 400.5 miles. Stages weigh in at 80, 85 and one O two, and like I mentioned, all three series are in action. Cup Series goes down Sunday, two 30 p.m. eastern on NBC. Xfinity, Saturday, four 30 p.m. eastern on USA, and the truck series also Saturday 1 p.m. eastern on FS1. There you go. Nice and the cool thing is we always talk about like the stereotypes of Texas and stuff like that. But the stereotypes of Miami are the Miami Vice vibe. We're in the we're in the shirts with the collars up and stuff and just looking like you're from the 80s with all the bright vibrant colors. And anytime I see that, you know, like the white slacks and stuff like that. Anytime I see that for whatever reason Carrie, I picture you and your heyday back in the 80s, I feel like you were in that style. I don't know if you were. I've never seen photos of you from back then. But I just assume that Carrie Murphy was walking around in that whole Miami vice kind of vibe. I might have worn a blazer or two with the arms rolled up. Look at that, see who called it, just based off of knowing you. Without saying, I don't know about the collar thing, but yeah, for sure.

"And I was like, okay. All right. There we go. That's pretty weird. Interesting. It is very weird. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. A lot of questions to be answered still on the 23 11 front as far as how that works out. Will it be a third car will be two cars, RCR, who the heck do they have on their radar to replace them? Maybe Austin Hill, who won the Xfinity race this week. He's got two Xfinity wins and his rookie campaign. They've got Sheldon Creed in the pipeline. Maybe a Noah Gregson. He's been kind of threatening to go cup racing. He's ran some cup races this year. Do they go with a veteran? Maybe like an AG almond dinger. There's a lot of teams that are involved in that RCR pipeline like collard racing. Is that something they do? There's a lot of different options there, but it's kind of a question of who do they feel comfortable enough? To put in that 8 car, which is kind of been the flagship car for the last year. Yeah. What's interesting is Tyler is just now finding success and he's jumped ship already. Yeah, and that has to be so crushing for RCR just two weeks after his first win. Right. After so many close calls, they finally break through and it's all right, bye. Yeah, it's been nice. Yeah, thanks guys. In a year and a half. But he's a unique talent. He can win a road courses as we saw with road America. He's really worked hard on his road racing game. He's great on the dirt as we saw Bristol dirt. He was right there until chase Briscoe took him out on the last lap. He's been very good at one mile tracks. He's been good at short tracks, intermediates. He's good everywhere. So he's kind of that guy that you'd like to see and for him, being a young guy. Again, attached to Michael Jordan, this could kind of shoot his rocket to the sky. Yeah, for sure. Now this happened, this broke on Tuesday. On the same day, not to be outdone and we don't normally talk about Indy car, but this is so bizarre, so crazy in the world of racing. What happened with Ganassi? All right, so this is the weird thing. And I actually wrote IndyCar story for once because my IndyCar guy was not available at the time. Right. And Chip Ganassi racing puts out a press release. That they have exercised their option for Alex polo, the 2021 champion. Oh cool. To run for the team in 2023. Oh, that sounds great. It does big news. I was like, man, I gotta jump on this. Joey's not available. I'm gonna jump in there and get this. I do. And a few hours later, things get a little weird. How could that go weird? Well, so Alex pillow hits up on Twitter and explains let me find the actual tweets here, hang on one second. I will read these verbatim for you. That means word for word. Yes. So Alex polo said quote, I have recently learned from the media that this afternoon without my approval, Chip Ganassi racing issued a press release announcing that I would be driving with in 2023. Even more surprising was that was released and cooked and included a quote, which did not come from me. I did not approve that press release and I did not author or approve that quote as I recently. As I have recently informed for personal reasons, I do not intend to continue with the team after 2022. This evening's unfortunate events aside, I have a great respect for the team and I look forward to finishing the season strongly together. Wow. That's like, okay, and then 5 minutes after that, boom in the email inbox is McLaren. Says that they have signed 2021 IndyCar Series champion oxbow to drive for them in 2023. The personal reasons were that. Those are the first three reasons. My goodness. So does Ganassi have like AI doing their press releases? So the thing here and the thought is, so if the contract includes a thing where has the option to pick up another year for pillow, that means they've got the bargaining ship here. Right. If they choose to exercise that option, he's stuck there for a year, but I'm wondering if he's not going to be running IndyCar with McLaren. If he's going to be running like formula E, Formula One for a year, something like that. Who knows? But there's a lot of things still to go there because McLaren has more than just any car. There's also the possibility that he told, hey, I don't want to return and see jars. Yeah, man, good luck to you. Best of luck. And immediately fired that off. And we're like, well, we exercise our options. So if you want to McLaren, you've got to pay us. Right. So there's a lot of different things at play here. We don't really know what's happening behind the scenes, but my goodness, this was ugly. And after the after the palo tweets went out, even tweeted about the espys. There's still time to vote. Alex pillow is your driver of the year for the espys. And then like 5 minutes later they deleted it. It's like, oh my gosh. This is getting ugly. So yeah, it's interesting that if you like scandal and you like intrigue and you like weird silly season and stuff, my goodness, we thought we had the upper hand on that and the NASCAR world yesterday, but by the end of the afternoon, congratulations IndyCar. You guys took the cake. It's been a wild week for sure in the motor sports world for sure. Well, yeah, and then when you look at things this morning, as we're doing this show, it's Wednesday. This morning, we've got Nick Sanchez and the Xfinity series is a part time Xfinity series driver full-time Arkham Menard series driver. He was slated to run 7 races with BJ MacLeod's team in the Xfinity series. He's run two, and now he's saying he's parting ways with the team because he's got a new opportunity. So personal reasons. Yeah, first reasons. So it's funny. Everybody was joking that should have said the timing of this announcement couldn't be any more unfortunate. Right. For sure. But yeah, so very, very interesting. Weird stuff. It'll be fun to kind of follow this as it unfolds in the public forum, I guess. We got Marco Andretti still interested in Xfinity series? Yeah, so last year he mentioned that he was interested in running some Xfinity series races and we kind of been hearing he'd been working on some deals. Nothing ever came to fruition, but he's been running SRX since last year, has actually excelled pretty well in SRX, want to race last season. He's in the middle of the championship battle right now, NASA X at the end of this past week's race.

"That's awesome to hear. So really, really cool. I know a lot of people say a lot of bad things about Kyle Busch, but that's one of the cooler things I've seen. All right, well there's one. There's one. Then of course, hey, how about this? We've got a new sponsor carry Eric Almirola will have renegade insurance on his car. Starting at Kansas, not as a primary sponsor, there'll be an associate sponsor at Kansas and the remainder of the year. But at the southern 500 Darlington later in the year, they will be the primary sponsor, and we'll have a new sleek looking renegade insurance number ten car. I love this paint scheme. Yeah, it's pretty cool. It's pretty nice, pretty, pretty, pretty chill. I like it. It's good. It's got really clean lines. I love it. It's the William Byron of paint schemes when he's not mad at Joey Logano. Right. Oh, look at that diffuser though. Oh my gosh, so cool. There it is. Yeah, I need one of those on my car. Yeah, you do. How do we make that happen? I don't know. We'll have to get on that, but we've also got some arcane news, Carrie. How about that? You want some more good news. I don't know if we've ever had arcanus on here. Well, now we will. How about this? So Wayne Peterson racing driver and the Arkham Menard series Zachary tinkle. It looked like he was not going to hold up. What's his name? Zachary tinkle. Okay. Iconic name. Yes. Kind of funny. Yeah, so Zachary tinkle will be, it looked like he was knocking better run this week's race at Kansas because the O 6 car was crashed in Nashville by the team's other driver, Nate Mueller, who crashed the car at Nashville in the arca east race. And so it was like, man, Zachary's done. He's not gonna be able to run the next race. That's a real bummer for him. But the team has dug deep, they've taken their super speedway car. They've converted it to a mile and a half track car. And he will be running this week, so that's really, really cool. Wow. All right. So the O 6 Wayne Peterson team will continue to race and Zachary tinkle will be running Kansas. I heard blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, but not Jimmy Johnson. Arca. Well, that's typically what you do here, yes. That's what I heard in my head. And how about the Ukrainian flag? It will be on Josh balicki's car this weekend, Carrie. Oh, that's good. Yeah, the number 77 spire machine will look just like the Ukrainian flag, blue, yellow, looks really, really cool. It'll have Slavic Ukrainian on the side of the car, which means glory to Ukraine. And it will be promoting Ukrainian American one second, hold on. Coordinating council, which is a foundation made back in 1965, they provide supplies and helmets and all sorts of stuff currently to people who are civilians trying to fight this war against Russia. So they're going to help with that kind of stuff. I have a friend who's been covering it. He's a journalist and the video and the stories. He's bringing back it's just heartbreaking. It is. Some of the stuff I've been seeing, especially the thing with the school recently. That's some sad stuff, man. But yeah, so they're trying to bring awareness to this foundation that helps support the people down there in Ukraine that need help. So if you'd like to go to Tokyo Chris dot com. Check out the article about Josh Bucky's pan scheme in there. We've got a link where you can actually help support this foundation and what they're doing. You've got a new person doing YouTube stuff for you, right? Yeah, Taylor kitchen. She's been doing above the yellow line as her thing. We brought her over and she's been doing the yellow line. I love that. Yeah. Thanks for noticing that too. She's been doing a great job. She's been doing kind of like some live stream stuff in there. Ranking paint scheme. She's been doing a weekly feature where she kind of breaks down the previous race, previews the next one, and that's kind of weird, huh? Yeah, that is kind.
