"Just into the newsroom 484 new corona virus cases and 22 new deaths this morning in Arizona. This comes after more than 9600 new PCR tests were reported overnight. We're gonna bring you more on these breaking numbers coming up in 8 30 on Jr but for breaking news sent straight to your phone text news 2411923. Thank you, Taylor. Of course, we will have more on this on the numbers. 22 deaths. There were zero yesterday. Always sad to see the deaths as they they increase. But the numbers remain low. The positive percentage rate we've watched that we watched climb, since the beginning of testing has now dropped below 12% officially to 11.95% test positive rate with 9600 tests in that is really good news. We continue to watch the numbers fall down to that 5% rate has been fairly consistent with a couple of days of spike. Normally when the tests are lower when there's a lot less test 484 new cases so keeping on track it's gonna lead us into our next topic in a few moments, because when talking about Cove in 19 in the opening of schools a s U has got a difficult time. So what you Arizona? Anyway, you the university's air deal with a lot more moving parts than our school's K through 12. And a issue you had Dr Michael Crowe. Snitch on Ah, bunch of the bars along mill. This is something that's going to take a coordinated effort is all of us know. And from the beginning of this, I have talked about the mandates and how the mandates are are really making people angry. When you give people the right information. People largely do the right things. When you try to force somebody's hand, you're going to get pushed back. We have turned the mask conversation into a political conversation, which it should not have been. I try to stay one step back. I want to be a good example I wanted. You know, I'm really more of it than it sounds like on the air. Sometimes I am more of a go along and get along person. That I understand going into a business that a business owner, the last thing they want to have to do is upset a customer of potential customer. Well, CSU. They've got rules for the student body, which they can enforce inside the dorm buildings. And inside the classrooms. What do you do about off campus housing? What do you do about the businesses that serve that student body when you've got a bunch of kids that are not in any danger, really? The numbers. You can say what you want about. We're looking to save lives, and this is deadly. And And so here's how the conversation spins with the people that don't want to look at the numbers accurately. Young people are not at risk off serious illness or death in large numbers. The numbers play out just like that, the small, very low percentage of hospitalization. For kids under the age of 20, especially but for people under the age of 25 those air college students are they getting the virus? Yes. Are they spreading the virus? Of course they are. Are they going to the hospital in great numbers? No, they're not. Are they dying in large numbers? No, No, they're not. The numbers don't play out that way. So then, once you say that to someone, and they have to look at the numbers and realize the vast majority of deaths are people over the age of 55, but especially over the age of 70 years old. Over 90% of those have co morbidity ease. Then the Tropic shifts from well, asymptomatic spread. Some of them don't even know they have it, so we're going to shut down an entire economy and an entire school system. For people that aren't even going to get sick. If they have the virus could spread it to people that are at high risk. Yes, they could, which is where the people that are at high risk should be protecting themselves. From the beginning of this, we had to do some things to flatten the curve. We didn't know a whole lot about this virus. They learn more every single day. The experts are out there talking about what's happening and what needs to be done. But we turn the expertise in the politics as well. Everybody out there you pick who you like based on what they say today when Fauci says, something that makes the right angry they can't stand. Fauci when vouching backs up the president about a vaccine all of a sudden found she's an expert again and vice versa. And what we're watching happen today as she was a lot of moving parts. But what Dr Crowe has done is come up with a comprehensive plan and same thing with U of A or U Arizona. Same thing. They did the same thing. They came up with a plan they haven't under 5% spread at down in Tucson. That's that is a great that better numbers that we're seeing in some of the cities. And yet they have a lot of moving parts. They cannot control these students. So in Dr Crowe reached out to Dr Cara Christen the Arizona Department health Services and said, Here are some pictures. Here's this place this place this place in this place. Nobody's masking up. Nobody's distancing. This doesn't look safe. It is a shot across the bow, saying We're doing everything we can to get back to some sense of normalcy. You serve this community and now you're doing this as a disservice to the community. I had no problem and I'm not somebody that I don't like the the tip line. I don't like ratting on your neighbour. I don't like any of that. But if there's one person with a vested interest in keeping these numbers low It's Dr Crowe. And all the universities, but especially when they came up with the plan, and they were first people were criticizing. You have still have people in the student body that were saying we got to shut it down right now. Well, those students could do the online learning. This is the mantra. I don't understand. I don't.

"Involvement here, he actually wrote. This is what shock Huckleberry wrote additional support from Arizona Department health services needed, he writes a section 3.7 should be added to the state. Like deuces, not cracking down enough. You ready for this? This is what he wants. Doug Ducey and the Health Department characterised to approve upon notification from the county Health Department that a particular business or establishment is noncompliant. And has failed to take corrective action after educational assistance and continues to disregard public health standards. The department health Services shall notify any state agency or regulatory body who holds issues or monitors any state license. Or permit to operate and shall take appropriate and necessary steps to suspend or revoke the permit or license to the east of the establishment. So again, the virus is going down, down, down down down. It is becoming a freaking cold. That's what it is. It's a It's a flipping cold right now. Which is what it always wass. And some people die from the flu and pneumonia and you know a cold, but that's what it is right. That's what it isthe. But Huckleberry is asking for the ability You said to tell the state this place isn't listening. You need to suspend or revoke their permit or a license. To conduct business ruin their business. I am shocked, Huckleberry mean we need business desperately down here. And you have Ah, Chuck Huckleberry, the drunk spending sailor that he is. Doing everything he can to try to shut to get the power to shut him down. And then my favorite. Here we go is even more, he writes under the Under the title of this particular page, it says funding is not adequate. Is it ever Is it ever He writes the $50,000 contained as reimbursement for these services is grossly inadequate, and he goes to put how they have spent so many hours right a 1338 actual complaints. 1538 assessment related. All this has been so much right. We've had to look through all this stuff. He said. Right now, all this work 1738 hours. Has already been $52,140 in value. Right? Doesn't include IittIe Fleet supplies, other related expenses, so we need much more than that. So he is asking for. I'm not kidding you. He's asking for 10 employees. He wants to grow the government. You can't take anybody that's already existing government. By the way, Just move, move. No, no, I need to hire for new people. 44 environment asides, 10 new people for environmental health checks. For environmental health specialists. Category one One environmental health specialist. Category two and, of course, an administration supply specialist. There is no multitasking in government. The four environmental health takes get 40 grand a pop in salary. The health specialist category. 1 56 grand a pop. The one environmental health specialist category to 61 Grand and 45,000 for the administrative supply specialist. And then he put in office supplies, mobile phone service. Mobile computers, the fleet expense $639,143.47. That's what Chuck Huckleberry wants. Oh, end and below that, he wrote. Mask standards should be included in this inter government Inter governmental Agency report. Yes. Another major omission of this is that this silent regard eyes it is silent regarding enforcement of public mask standards and or requirements. What? Yeah. So He writes. They have educated Most complaints deal of businesses not requiring individuals to wear a mask in public places within those businesses. In our experience. Once we're telling these businesses, they acknowledge it and they try to do their best to comply. So, he writes. I strongly suggest this option a mask mandate. That's what Chuck wants. A mask mandates the guy that would not issue or make, um The driver sharing the driver take a blood test or an alcohol test or any kind of test when she crashed her car into a wall of water County funded car in a wall of water and then and then literally trying to a hit job on a sitting supervisor and Allie Miller using his overpaid Overpaid, unhealthy. I mean, a guy. He's got to be at risk of the cove. It right. The China virus that mark be Evans, the Pima County Communications guy under 12 grand for that he's listening right now Writing down every word I'm saying. You are over, Garrett says. I am overpaid and I should be fired, right? It just like that, Just like that. And I need a new haircut right it just like that. I mean, honestly, it's it's bad. It's really bad. Anyway. Um he writes ice is what Chuck Wright. I strongly suggest this option B included a mask mandated, right? An appropriate funding allocated for this purpose, given the proven public health benefits of wearing a mask in public What the what of the proven benefits? I mean, the CDC just came out and said even if you're wearing a mask, we still consider you to be. Ah, covert positivity should quarantine yourself. Remember, They just came out and said that if you're wearing a mask and a person that sick with covert of the China virus is wearing a mask, and you're within 6 ft for 15 minutes. And you know what? Consider yourself. Ah, sick and quarantine yourself. That that's what they're saying. So what the hell's the point of the mask? Well, it's I love this so It gets even better. I didn't finish the whole sentence. Right. The proof, given the prove it proven public health benefits of wearing a mask in public, as has been strongly suggested by the governor, Thegame that didn't wear the mask. Ah, yeah, the guy that didn't wear the mask. Yes, the guy that didn't weatherman says they work really well. So we want everyone to be mandated and stuff and things in there. Yeah. Yeah, that's the ticket. That's how it is. Uh huh. Sure. So anyway, I have much, much more on this, but that's on my Facebook. All it's all there. It's all there. Twitter profile. Put up a candidacy dot com by.

"Appreciate spending some time. Hope you got a great weekend planned is now we're going to see some bars that serve food. I think the one question I wish that I had asked Dr Chris when we had her on the show, Dr Cara Christen the Arizona Department Health Services. We talked with her on Wednesday. And I didn't ask for this And I really wish I would have In the minds of the people that create the protocol in the standards. What's the difference between a bar that serves some food and a bar that doesn't serve any food? Why is one more dangerous than the other? When it comes to Cove? It I'm just curious What the differentiation is. What? Because not everybody that goes to a bar that serves food is going to get food. Then how does getting food Stop you from spreading covert 19. And if eating stops you from spreading covert 19. Based on what people have been doing during the lock down. You think it'd be cured by now? So I'm just curious if there isn't what the big difference is. So this weekend, we're going to see some changes, possibly schools next weekend. The numbers that came in overnight there was just, you know, obviously a reinforcement of a lot of different things A little over 5% positive rate, which is a very good number. Still below that 6%. It needs to be below 7%. All those numbers are very, very good for what the total will be next week as we try to enter the next phase of opening schools. But people under the age of 20 again are really not at risk in this we had of the 24,754 cases. People under the age of 20 less than 1000, actually less than 850 have gone to the hospital at all, and only 12 deaths in that demographic since the beginning of Cove in coverage. How many people have died from pneumonia or the flu. In that age group. So we're seeing that it's not life threatening to young people again, reinforcing what we should be able to do with this with demographics and co morbidity ease as opposed to these blankets, shutdowns, and I just wonder if part of the reason why we aren't why they're doing blanket shutdowns is you would have a tougher time constitutionally doing a shutdown based on age If you said Okay, Here's the deal No. One under the age No. One over the age of 65 is allowed to go into a bar. How do you enforce that? Checking ID. Imagine being too old to.

"The numbers are fudged The Arizona Department health Services is putting out bad information, the very key benchmark that is the amount of covert cases per 100,000 people. Is being inflated because they're not just using only new covert cases. They're also using in that. Antibody results. People have antibodies, the serology tests that's not knew that shouldn't count. But they're using it and it's inflating it. You go to the department Health website. Look on school testing and you'll see it. The numbers don't match up. Second thing. I think you need to know we have the lawyer on that's representing now over 100 bars serious six and cirie seven license owners. Any revealed Doug Ducey eyes basically working with the Arizona Restaurant Association. They're very politically powerful. His buddy, Sam Fox and others, and I like Sam Fox restaurants. I don't blame them for doing this, but they're they're manipulating their keeping bars close. So when people have to go out to have a cocktail or a drink, they have to go to the restaurant bars now not regular bars. And he's saying that that's unfair. It's not constitutional. I mean, it's tremendous we'll have the neuro interview upon my page a canister dot com They're hoping to get the before the Supreme Court August 25th year in Arizona. It was remarkable third thing I think you need to know is that black lives matter out in Seattle was walking in a neighborhood so white people inside a home and started yelling at them. The mob did saying, Give up your home. You're comfortable white people. Black people used to live here. This is black people and give up your home. And give up your land. That's what they're doing. Three things. I think you need to know, by the way speaking all this stuff down If you saw how she really quick, vouch, he came out and said that you can't trust the temperature taking in places where it's hot. Which it's summer. It's hot everywhere, especially here in Arizona. So a temperature check done by a restaurant or a business. You see, it's not reliable. Every day. Something changes with this freaking guy every day. But he did say, he says, there's no reason why we can't do voting in person. So you have that? Oh, no, I love this. Hang on. U S Postal Service is warning is just alert My phone. Absentee voting rules in key swing states may leave some ballots uncounted. They just want more money there. Working with the demos, too. Get bailouts of billions of dollars. Get out of here. Um Let's get some juicy. And then I was squeezing that story about the black neighborhood where the in Chicago where they kicked out black lives matter. Ah ah do suffer, though. Yesterday had some things to say in his little press conference, he changed it because it's boring and stupid and too long. S O. He changeable. Everybody was taking questions. Very interesting one about water parks, and I left this. I left it in there. I left a question in there because I wanted to get the full. Ah, full scale of it. Okay, very important that you Nothing's taken out of context. Um And Ryan. For some reason, I lost the prep with a number on it. I don't know. Always wait. I got it now. Finally is there. 32? 32. I know. Finally I screwed up for once, right? I one flaw 30 to listen to this. Why? Water parks are closed, but hotels with the same lazy rivers and water slides. Khun, stay open. I'll bet you that the the hotel lobby. That is influencing the governor. There. He's screwing over the smaller businesses. Unbelieving. Listen to this. Here we go. Your order allowed, uh, resorts to reopen their swimming pools and splash clubs. But freestanding splash places like like Mesa are not tell me what the difference is because of this glass pad at the Hilton and Splash Planet Maysa. We're working with the larger Places commercial places on guidance in reopening, and we did put guidance limiting groups in the pools in the resort. Understood. But why? Why can't Maces Sunsplash lived by the same rules? It's somewhat the same thing that I talked about on some of these other businesses that were operating Responsibly but underneath the category, it was not. We're working with him on reopening. There's no answer there. He gave no answer. Well, it's kind of like what we talked about earlier and things and Yeah, huh? Yeah. Ah, So obviously, as do Sopher gets lobbied hard, and his must be buddy buddy, helping his friends with the restaurant lobby. Three hotel in tourism lobby. Obviously saying, Hey, we're getting screaming. Think about this. Tourism is down across the board. People are not traveling to Arizona. They canceled reservations in hotels and everything else. People in Arizona just like everywhere else. Having a tough time trying to go on vacation. Nobody wants to fly anywhere, right. So what are people in Arizona doing it? I've done it. You go Overthinking hotel and you look for one that has some nice amenities. Maybe a waterslide. Maybe a lazy river. Maybe a big pool. So I guarantee you this is what's happening. Dues. He gets lobbied hard and says, Sure, I will crush the water parks. To make sure the hotel and tourism industry can make money. If people aren't coming in from out of Arizona will make Arizonans go there because I'll make it impossible for them to go to a water park. I guarantee you, That's what happening. This guy is pure evil. This where I get even more mad that again Republican lawmakers like Gail Griffin. Who called the show a relation of Peter that I know of. Finchem. Red Roberts, Vince Leech. I mean, Kelly Townsend's trying, but I mean, nobody's calling him out on this white what is happening here? We stick up for businesses. That's what we do here. Go now. "The latest numbers now from the Arizona Department Health Services in Pema County, it's now up to us as of today, 7.3% positive testing rates has gone from 6.69 yesterday, 7.3 today. Ah positive testing rate for the virus. Justin Pema County, the state held steady at 6.3%. But everything changes last week. I just like the numbers. They dropped a 7.1 from 7.2 in Pema County. They're adding tests there. D Duplicating they're taking it away. It's hard to even followed all this stupid information because they don't even get it right. But that's that's the latest there. The Oh, Here we go. We're under 1400. Now only 1359 Corona virus. Chinese virus patients covert patients in the hospital. A month ago, literally a month ago. It was 3517. It's now dropped down to 1359. You know these reporters that we're talking to do so for yesterday? These lame reporters. It's all about them. How come you haven't talked 1002 weeks? Do we have to be on Twitter? Everybody on Twitter get information from you. Instead of asking a question off. A basic one. Considering that you wanted people to stay home for 15 days and 30 days and shut down businesses to stop the spread. Obviously, the numbers the hospitals are seemingly wide open now. You're seemingly wide open. Shouldn't we have life continue to what it was and people get sick and ethical, the hospital they can handle it. Wasn't the whole point of it. I see you beds down to 4 73 at the peak. They were 9 70 a month ago. So they're down more than half more than 50%. This is ah, This is insane. Absolutely insane. No, no good questions answered. You know, parents are unhappy because again, parents are very unhappy. Man I know charter schools that were allowing people in for essential workers. And then as soon as they said, we're open on Monday. Charter schools. I've been talking people of Chartres was, like all of a sudden the parents that weren't gonna bring their kids in for remote learning after just a week and 1/2 of it, or like we're bringing the kid in. We're bringing the kid in. We can't handle this anymore. It's not good for anybody. Ringing the kid in Like that doesn't seem to be much of a danger for the Chinese vice in terms of the hospitals. Being overloaded. We have flattened the curve. Life should return back to normal. And now one of these dopey reporters that was talking to do see yesterday asked that question. I'll give you some highlights coming up on then we'll get into again. The numbers of how they're being Ah, overinflated in the covert cases per 100,000 people there, counting both again the serology which antibody and new cases and they shouldn't do that, because those serology aren't new. All coming upon canister. University of Arizona officials.

Okay, Let's go. Let's go. Number 19. The old lies coming back. These have all been, of course, debunked but doesn't stop Mika from spreading the fake news. Here we go. Arizona Department health Services gyms are currently closed under executive order. But there are some changes. Stay home if you're sick. Is that new? Or is that pretty much the way it wass? Stay home if you're sick, protect yourself while visiting the gyms. Also not new Avoid close contact. Stay more than six feet away from others. Wear a mask while at the facility. "Here, Louis with you. It is your morning ritual K and S T a. M 7 90 Tucson's most stimulating talk. It'll be about 101 or so. Maybe slight chance of rain. Mohr. Do not miss its otherwise you'd have a chance to get a grand in your hand. So before I play you, Regina. Just so you know. Ah, Andy Biggest. Put out some good info. It's all based on the Arizona Department. Health Services Thie case fatality rate as of today. 1.96%. Do you know what it was on June 11th? 3.48% So we've dropped the case Fatality rate in Arizona. From 3.48%. June 11th did 1.96 July 21st The Chinese virus hospitalization. The case hospitalization rate, how many times in the hospital 11% of cases in the hospital June 11th down to 4.64 today. And a 4.64 today. By the way, June 1st, the The death rate in Arizona was 4.43 again July 21st down a 1.96 since June 1st over 14,000 is 14,037 to be exact Chinese virus patients Have been discharged, Dis charged. So we have some good stuff. I put the ah, the graft from Pima County on my Facebook page Twitter, you name it stuff like that. And in Pema County new cases that the peak was June 23rd. It looks like 500 It has been a downward trend ever since. Downward trend ever since, so it's almost a month. I mean, things were going pretty well. Numbers are all right. These dumb teacher, they don't want that they want more money. Want more money. Pigs. More money. By the way. And I wanna make sure I get this correct. It looks like there were 134 new deaths today. The question is How many of those Happen to be From death certificate matching Almost 60%. Of that giant number from death certificate matching almost 60%. When they try to scare 130. 40 does well. Ah, what about 80 or so from death certificate Matching where we don't you know they even had the virus is garbage. Garbage. By the way, hospitalization. Again. We peeked June 15th. "The TR news at Thanks again. We appreciate you spending some time with us. Would it be more harmful for students to be at home that it would be in the classroom? And there are a lot of experts that are speaking out and saying just a cz much, the CDC director Robert Redfield has said as much on Thursday. I want to read a quote from Dr Redfield in just a moment from Mr Redfield. In just a moment. I keep making everybody a doctor when they might not be. Actually I told Stevie had to call me doctor, and he hasn't yet so Maybe that's what it is. It's It's a Freudian slip on my part. Well, you haven't called me. Supreme Allied Commander. That's true. I have not. You're right. But Robert Redfield was speaking yesterday on was speaking about the virus and young people and how young people are not getting nearly a sick from covert 19 the ability of this virus to cause significant illness. In Children is very, very, very, very limited. We know of the post immune inflammatory disease that you've heard about, but it's very rare. But in general This virus is not constant, difficult illness and Children. So when you look at the numbers, and I look at all of them And I try to be as objective as possible. I don't have an agenda. I don't have a gotcha answer. I don't I haven't I told you so I'm reading the numbers for exactly what they are. And here is what's happening in Arizona when it comes to younger people. People under the age of 20 there have been over 13,000 positive tests for Covad, 19 off people under the age of 20 as of this morning. Of those 90 people have been hospitalized. That is 900.68%. That is less than 7/10 of 1% off the people under the age of 20 That have gotten covert 19 have gone to the hospital, and we do not know how many of those 90 that have been hospitalized had preexisting health conditions. That's the one thing that the website from the Arizona Department health Services, It doesn't give you that data on preexisting conditions. Eight people have died. That's in the zero percentile. Eight people out of 13,098 people have died again. We don't know about preexisting conditions. So what Robert Redfield is saying is exactly true by the numbers. Young people are not dying from Cove in 19 and they're not getting significantly ill either. All of that. There are things we should be happy about. So, with that being, said, Mr Redfield, and this is a quote from Robert Redfield. I'm on the time of the point of view as a public health leader in this nation that having the school's actually closed is a greater public health threat to the Children. Than having the schools reopen. And there are experts, psychologists, pediatricians that are beginning to back that up. So I was trying to make the argument earlier today and again Social media users. I absolutely love the input over the weekend. I try to engage as much as I can keep it civil, but I love when we disagree. It's the way I learned. And I just want you to respect my point of view. I'd never presume I'm going to convince you to change your mind. But I just want you to respect my point of view as well. And I will try to respect yours. I'm at broom Head are on Twitter at broom Head. Katie A. R. My argument was this We all would agree that I have believed that we say that firefighters and cops are essential services and no. One in spite of the dangers of getting covert 19. We would never expect a copper a firefighter to not do their job. And I think most people with exceptions, preexisting conditions, things of that nature. We know of medical workers and doctors. There was a programme that was called RVs for MDS when we were at such a fever pitch of covert 19 and the first go around. There were people that had RVs that they were allowing doctors to use that could park on their own property at home. So that they didn't have to go in the house and possibly infect their family. But they could be close enough to their family to see them. My point was, we understood the dangers of those professions and for their families. We understood it. I have a friend who's a nurse. Her daughter is a nurse. They obviously the daughter has Children as well. They had young Children in the house. The Children were sent with other family members. When this was going on, it was their strong as it was at the very beginning. So they sacrificed being with their Children and grandchildren to keep them safe during covert 19 and everybody saw that as a noble cause for nurses, doctors, paramedics, firefighters and police officers. If we believe that having Children the classroom, as is essential as these services are, there is going to be a certain risk level for the teachers. Now, I don't believe we should be endangering the lives of schoolteachers, either. The numbers don't talk about a huge risk of life unless you have pre existing health conditions or you're over the age of 65. Again. Let's just go to the second oldest demographic on the Web page. The 55 to 64 year old demographic. There have been 13,763 cases over 13,000 cases as well for people between the ages of 55 64. Off that they have a 7.6% hospitalization rate. Since the beginning. Of this, only 7.6% of the people that have gotten covert 19 in that age group have been hospitalized off that there is a 2% death rate. We don't know how many of those people had preexisting conditions, but between 55 60 for you would expect a lot of those people had some pre existing health conditions. So the death rate is very low, the hospitalization rate or serious illness very low. I'm not saying teachers get your butts back to school. And don't be afraid. I'm not saying that. But if experts are beginning to tell us that it is much more critical for kids to be in the classroom. That it is detrimental to their mental. They're emotional and their physical wellbeing and doing serious damage. I don't think an association of pediatricians would be speaking out if they didn't believe it was a dire circumstance. Nor would the psychologist thes child psychologists. Would they be speaking out and saying, We've got to get these kids back in school? They've got to be socialized. They've got to have the structure. They have to do this. I don't believe they stick their necks out and say in spite of the numbers of covert 19 it's imperative the kids are in the classroom if they didn't believe it. So if in the minds of everyone That is the most important thing is the Children's well being. At what risk level should the teachers be back in the classroom? I'm not saying that she'd even be the same risk levels of level was a firefighter or a cop. But we know that under any risk level cops and firefighters air still doing their jobs. And getting it by the way..
