"That is justice. And I think that's what people wanted. They wanted, where is the justice? So he was pronounced dead at 1217 a.m. in ardmore or I'm sorry in mcallister Oklahoma. The Oklahoma state penitentiary. So they brought him back to Oklahoma. And that's where he got it. He was executed July 20th, 2000 and think about that. July 20th, so basically it took 21 and it took 11 years. I'm sorry, this one is only 11 years. But that's still a long time. It's still a long time. But that was Danny ramata too, Danny Romero was 11 years. Yeah, thanks a lot more deal the families are going through. You know, I mean, every time something comes out in the newspaper or you get a call from the victim, witness coordinator, it's prosecutor's office. You're reliving this all the way over and over and over again. And to continue just a little bit further, what you were saying about Bill spurrier's comment, he says, I feel sorry for bronze family, but they did get the opportunity to say goodbye, which I never got that opportunity. I had to say goodbye to my dad at the grave. And then he finishes up, said that when my son was born in Sicily when I was stationed there, so he's out serving his country, my dad traveled all the way to Sicily to hold his grandson. He'll never have the chance to hold my grandson. I mean, this just rips at your freaking heart. The way it tears up families, and this guy is just a little smart ass. That's all he is. Yeah, well, let me tell you too. I think Braun was rolling the dice. He thought because guess what see Kansas didn't have the death penalty at that point. So he pled, but he got life in prison. New Mexico, he avoided capital punishment, took a plea deal and they sentenced him to life. So he thinking, hey, you know, I'll go to Oklahoma and you know, hey, I'll just plead guilty, and they'll give me life in prison too. And that's where this train ride ended for Greg Brown because they said, nope. We sentenced you to die. So he was put to death by lethal injection. And Braun actually asked that none of his family members witnessed the execution. So, you know, well, here's the other thing. He got to say goodbye to his family. Yeah. The victims families didn't get to say goodbye to their family members. I don't want to get up on my soap box, but this stuff just really pisses you off the way that these murderers convicted murderers get treated.

Matches a description that got early on in the investigation too of a suspicious person that was seen. So now we start tying all these things together. But they don't have any information on this, in fact. They end up arresting the wrong person to begin with. A guy named Michael green because through a variety of things, right? Did they say, hey, look, he was missing a car was missing. One day, people say things. It's like, he was, he was arrested for killing a lady named Gwen Miller on July 23rd. He was expected of Coke and dorfer and rains. And he'd been identified by a photo lineup from one of the survivors of the art more shooting, but within hours of his arrest. This is when this happens. Greg Braun is arrested in Mexico for the murder. You know, another murder that he commits. Right. So he was exonerated. And you know what? That's just as important as finding the real murderer is ruling out those who are not responsible, even though this guy's a murderer in his own right on a different case. I mean, that's our job. That's what you do as investigators as you want to identify the correct person. You don't want to charge somebody with a crime that they didn't commit. I do want to clarify something. I talked about the three people shot in ardmore. Actually, only one died the other two survived. Sorry, misstated that. Yeah, they survived. But again, all of were shot with a 25 caliber pistol. But now, two days later, in Springer, New Mexico. Is when a lady named Geraldine Valdez, a convenient store, guess what? You're listening to wealth creator radio with Eric Heckman. I'm Lou and former. Thanks for joining us, So we know interest rates are mere low record levels right now. So it could be a little alarming for people in retirement. It's great for people who are buying homes, things like that. But, you know, you think I should just put my money in an envelope or stashed it under a mattress that I'll be fine, you know, make just as much money as it's making at the bank. But a Missouri man Eric learned the hard way that there is another wrist with stashing cash around your home. Mice ended up eating some of his savings. So he went to get his money. And there are holes in it that has Bank at gas was able to reassemble the bills. He was reimbursed by the U. S. Mint for about $1000. So he got lucky. I didn't even know they would do that. So I want to talk about how low interest rates are frustrating. And how they can impact our retirement savings over time. Yes. Oh, you know, the low rated environment we've been in was Been there for you Want a decade now on Ardmore. And then, of course, with covert crisis, it dropped even lower and the feds got is supposedly going to keep it down to 2023. So it's nowhere no time soon or we wouldn't be going back up. And so what does that mean? Well, it means invested in bond funds is gonna be awful because rates are either gonna suck for a while and stay low. And then, when the rates finally go up, the bond values will lose money. So that's not so.

"On CNN. Long time coming reckoning with race in America over on MSNBC. They'd better hurry and get this in. It's like It's just like the fourth quarter on the left, you know? Time is ticking like this is the worst time because once the hologram is sworn in You know, Inauguration is coming here. What is it? Is it tomorrow? I guess 20th 20th. I don't Today's 20 Day. Don't even literally 20. But I'm not saying I should ready. I'm not paying a bit of attention won't coverage hate admitting it? I'm not even paying attention. I literally don't care. I died. Troops are stationed there setting up walls. He's not leaving Wilmington ever. I wouldn't be surprised if he's just inaugurated right there in Wilmington. Hey, made it like they may just build like a Oval office. You know, like a facsimile Oval office in Wilmington. He just does everything there. Like I watch the I can't help. But one of those movies that always comes on Cable is the oceans, Oceans 11, you know? Yeah, I love I just love those movies. I didn't like ocean's 12 11 and 13 are fantastic. I just love him. 13 was good. I love that myself. I mean, some people may not have, but I I personally just adored. Ocean's 11 Ocean's 13 Ocean's 12, was it Uh, but they build a facsimile of the vault that they're trying to break into. And they videotape whole vault scene that they rob so that when They're actually robbing the vault. They the security people. Are shown a videotape of a vault that they've Made to look like the actual vault while they're robbing the real vault I fully expected. That's what they've done in Wilmington. They've just made of you know, like a. They built a Oval office in Wilmington, where Biden will just pretend to be president there, while Kamila is actually in Washington. That's what I'm kidding, folks. Sort of 618 50 09 90 Let's go to Fred in Ardmore Hatred Good morning. This is not meant to be cruel, but it's trying to get a light to go on somewhere. I would like to ask all the people that have lost all right that have family that are crime victims, whether murder robbery. In Philadelphia, Chicago and then all the people that we're going to be victimized by all these illegal aliens they're gonna let in if they voted Democrat, because if they do, what are they complaining about? This is what they voted for. Wanted. Do they ever think about this stuff? Hard to argue. It really is hard to argue. Um I I don't um It's an interesting thing. The violence in Philadelphia in particular I I I always thought to myself and it's It's Polly. Anna, I suppose. I've had this question in my mind forever, and I've asked seriously people Yeah. What does it take to go into Philadelphia and talk to people in Philadelphia neighborhoods and say Ah, lot of your brothers and sisters, your friends and neighbors and people that you love her dying. They're dropping dead. What do I have to say to you to get you to vote for me to change the way we're doing business here instead of you continuing to vote for them. How can I win you over and I don't. I'm not smart enough. I'm not sophisticated enough politically. I don't really understand. I sincerely don't understand what makes Don't know what that bond is. I don't know what that loyalty is. I don't know. I don't know. I really don't understand it. I don't know if it's strictly racial. I don't know if a white guy can't do it, and it's going to take a black guy. I I don't know. And maybe it is that simple. Maybe it's it's going to take a black man. Maybe it's going to take a black man who calls himself a Democrat who's really not Um, I I'd like to believe not. I mean, I want to believe in the better angels of people that they just It's not about race, but maybe it is. Maybe people are just more comfortable with people that look like them. I know we're not supposed to say that and I know Yeah. Um, that's analytical. What we believe is Americans. But Yeah, I know. It's a frustrating, very frustrating question, Fred one, so not that I have certainly never cracked. Aaron Rodgers last week didn't get to this. He was on the bar stool sports. I guess it's a podcast. They do. A guy called Pat McAfee does a show. And Dave Portnoy, also from here. Originally who created Ball bar stool sports. They call him El Presidente. Then day he created something called the Bar Stool Fund. And it's basically meant to help small businesses a great idea. He basically developed it. Tonto Hand out loans to small business owners, men and women throughout this coronavirus lockdown. Aaron Rodgers. Who will be in the divisional playoff the NFC divisional playoff next week. It's gonna be a fun game to watch Rogers vs Brady Finally having fun match up. Oh, yeah. By the way, I think Rodgers takes that, don't you? I do, but I'm kind of hoping for Tampa Bay. Really? Yeah. I'd like them to. Ah, and I know I shouldn't because of what they did to us and early two thousands, but it's It's kind of cool seeing Brady seeing how far he can take this. It is. I tell you, it If it's an impressive I selfishly root for Brady only because I'm Brady's age. Look, I love to watch a guy. That's my age still doing it? I'm like that just makes me not that I could come close to doing what he does. It just makes me feel I still feel like all right. Okay. I see. I'm not that old. Yeah. You could still do it. Ah, but at any rate, um so Roger's donated $500,000 to this day Important Way Bar Stool fund. And he goes on this Pat McAfee show. Asked about the donation. And Talk. Specifically, They started talking a little bit about California specifically, and Pelosi and Newsome came out Now I think Rogers is a left winger. He used to death date that Olivia Munn that who's A very attractive woman, but extremely left wing crazy. I mean, just a lunatic, crazy leftist. Don't think Rogers is a leftist, too. Um, but when it came to Newsome and Pelosi, he didn't pull any punches. With the bar Stool fund is life changing money? It's sustainability for these people, and I think that's that's the thing that you you gravitate towards the most is just not having a reliance on the government. T help help you out, because obviously it's showing that's not going to be the way they're going to do it. I mean, they put these rules and police didn't even follow their own rules. I mean, don't you know? Have any fear of God, Kat Don't travel. Don't leave the state Here's so on. So on a vacation. Oh, here's someone, so it's not a salon. Don't don't eat out at a restaurant, you know, lets you wearing a mask and separate. Oh, here's a picture of the governor of California and violating those rules. Public schools were closed, but I can send my kids to a private school in person. Soon. It's like You mean for us? The count on the government to help us out is becoming a joke at this point. So what's happening is guys like Dave and his staff and all the amazing people who donate money that people helping people. This is money going directly to save businesses. Ah, lot of these have been in business for 10 2030 50 95 years, one of them. And you watch these videos. How could you not be moved by one of the work they're doing. I mean, you put in the face to all these names and where the money's going, and it's just so exciting. So so Oh, I don't know what that means. I don't know if that's a guy again, shaking the cobwebs out of his head a little bit politically. It's an interesting thing. Mm. Talking about not being able to depend on the government. You can't count on the government that governments becoming a joke and then pointing out how they're hypocrites at that..
