Now on June 9th, Binance US announced that it was forced to take action amid extremely aggressive and intimidating tactics from the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The firm noted in an effort to protect its customers and platform of suspended USD deposits. And furthermore, Binance US is notifying customers that our banking partners are preparing to pause fiat USD withdrawal channels as early as June 13th, 2023, as they announced here on crypto Twitter. The company added it plans to transition to a crypto -only exchange, but maintain a one -to -one ratio for customer assets. So let's go. The notice also cautioned that any downtime in processing withdrawals going forward may be the result of elevated volumes and weekend bank closures. Talk about a crypto exchange run, absolutely. So again, get your crypto off the exchanges ASAP. Trading, staking, deposits, and withdrawals in crypto remain fully operational, it confirmed. And as a result of the SEC's ideological campaign against the American digital asset industry, Binance US and its banking partners have faced increasing challenges. Those banking partners have signaled their intent to sever fiat onramps on the exchange. Now, US deposit of dollars will be suspended as of June 9th, which is today. And USD trading pairs will be delisted next week, the firm stated. However, it will continue to support Tether USDT trading pairs. And it stated that any USD left on the exchange might be converted into a stablecoin that could be withdrawn on change. Now, Binance USD listed eight Bitcoin pairs and two BUSD pairs on June 8th, yesterday, noting that the OTC trading portal services were paused. Bitcoin traded at a premium on the US exchange back in early May. The SEC issued an emergency order on June 6th to freeze the assets of Binance US. The following day, the firm reassured customers that assets remain safe, adding that the platform continues to be fully operational with deposits and withdrawals functioning as normal. Cointelegraph reported on the struggles of Binance US, which they were having securing banking partners back in April.

"So day -to -day performances have offered no decisive trend up or down, and 30 ,000 remains formidable resistance overhead. The market is still in the same position as it's been in the past few days. Don't get chopped up. Place some bids at the extremes and wait, says trader Gele. Stay focused on the higher timeframe direction. And for Milky Bull Crypto, those higher timeframes point to some much more interesting price action around the corner. If we check out the weekly chart, which shows us retesting an inverse head and shoulders pattern, this is the bullish counterpart of the standard head and shoulders pattern, which shows resistance being cemented and is typically followed by downside. And while the daily timeframes have seen a bearish head and shoulders pattern materialize around April's 31 ,000 local highs, the broader trend may yet play out in the bull's favors. Quoting Milky Crypto here, Bitcoin is flashing a textbook inverse head and shoulders on the weekly timeframe. Price is currently retesting the neckline after the breakout, as taught if the range between the head and neckline is usually the sprint, we are anticipating another 60 % rally on BTC. Now that 60 % sprint would take Bitcoin to around the $40 ,000 mark. Let me know if you agree or disagree with the analyst. Now for Crypto Calio, he had continued to describe 40 ,000 as a magnet for the market, while the price had preserved key support trend lines throughout the three -month range. In a prediction this week, fellow trader and analyst Credible Crypto said 40 ,000 would not form the ceiling for Bitcoin in 2023. Quoting him here, Expectations the Bitcoin having is in April 2024. Expect Bitcoin to go sideways between 20 to 40 ,000 for about 12 months, which is when we accumulate as much Bitcoin as we can. Once the halving hits, we start our next bull run to 100 ,000 plus in 2025, he told his followers. However, the reality, Bitcoin makes a new all -time high in 2023, leaving the majority sideline, and not everyone is going to make it.

Consumer spending also jumped with the biggest increase since January as people bought new cars, computers, clothes, and gas. The two increases together are a sign of both a resilient economy and high inflationary pressures. The data likely complicate the fed's next move. SEC Finally Responds to Coinbase Lawsuit

"All right Friends, well, today we have some updates in the legal battle to get regulatory clarity for the crypto industry. And if you follow the show for a while, you'll know that it seemed more and more over the last year or so, but even more the last 6 months that to get any actual answers. The crypto industry was going to have to avail itself of a legal path. Particularly in the wake of FTX, it's been clear and we'll get into this today that the various regulatory bodies are quite comfortable with regulation by enforcement rather than providing proactive guidance, and that's what many in the industry in a position where they have to actually follow through with legal threats in order to get anything done. Well, yesterday on Monday, we got some updates in at least one of those cases. On Monday, the SEC filed its response to a recent coinbase lawsuit. Coinbase had sued in late April, accusing the SEC of unreasonable delay in responding to the exchange's petition for rulemaking. While the petition was wide ranging and complex, coinbase's lawsuit had a simple contention. That contention was that rather than engaging with the substantial regulatory suggestions put forward, the SEC had decided secretly that no rulemaking would be done. Rather than publish this decision, the SEC had kept silent on the matter to avoid any potential for illegal challenge on rejecting the petition for rulemaking. With ten months elapsed since the petition for rulemaking was filed, coinbase sued, asking the court to require the SEC to make their decision on the petition public. In other words, to give a simple yes or no answer as to whether the regulator is considering rule making for the crypto industry. So what did we get back? Well, the SEC's response as coinbase chief legal officer Paul greenwald put it was a, quote, resounding maybe. The SEC argued that it's inaction regarding the coinbase petition did not imply that it is decided not to engage in rulemaking. To the contrary, the SEC claimed to be, quote, actively considering its regulatory approaches in this area, including the paths suggested in coinbase's petition.

Binance Quits Canada Over Regulatory Issues

"Let's not bury the lead. Binance has quit Canada. Citing unsuitable regulatory conditions the world's largest exchange will no longer be available for Canadian residents. In a tweet on Friday afternoon, binance said, unfortunately, today we are announcing that binance will be joining. Other prominent crypto businesses in proactively withdrawing from the Canadian marketplace. We would like to thank those regulators who worked with us collaboratively to address the needs of Canadian users. Albeit a small market, it held sentimental value for us as the home country of our founder. We had high hopes for the rest of the Canadian blockchain industry. Unfortunately, new guidance related to stablecoins and investor limits provided to crypto exchanges makes the Canada market no longer tenable for binance at this time. We put off this decision as long as we could to explore other reasonable avenues to protect our Canadian users, but it has become apparent that there are none. So I think at this stage, it's worth trying to get a little bit of the history and context for binance in Canada. Obviously they are identifying some recent limits and new guidance, but there is of course a history here and it's worth knowing. Luckily, Canadian crypto lawyer Jacob Robinson did a threat on exactly that. He writes finances founded in 2017 at which time Canadian residents had access to the platform for crypto transactions. On March 29th, 2021, the Ontario securities commission notified crypto asset trading platforms that they had until April 19th to contact OSC staff to discuss regulation. These discussions revolved around bringing crypto asset platforms, operations into compliance with Canadian securities laws. The collapse of quadriga and an investigative report led to quote regulatory takeaways applicable to crypto asset platforms, which spurred these conversations. But this common in talk actually led somewhere. There are ten registered crypto platforms in Canada, and many more gave pre registration undertakings with plans to register.

And so that was what I was going to ask is like, though you're trying different recipes is the central flavor thrust red wine and onions and garlic and like a woodsy herb in maybe mushrooms or carrots or like whatever. And if that's the case, then it makes sense that you feel that ultimately you're ending with the same thing. And so my suggestion would be to go in a completely different flavor direction. Right. I have developed a recipe that uses pork, but you could use a stewy beef in lieu of the pork and get a similar result, which is this like citrus braised number, it's got orange juice and soy sauce and Ginger and mirin, a little bit of brown sugar and red pepper flakes. And I think you could give your beef that orange beefy kind of flavor and that with soy and that would feel distinctly separate from. Pot roast world. If you're looking for a way to bridge out of pot roast but not leave it behind entirely, I fully agree with what Kendra was just saying. I think you need to sort of play up some flavors that put you out in front of that just sort of baseline beefiness, right? And I think one recipe that my brain went right to is from March 2019 from Zoe Kim. It's the red wine and soy braised short ribs. Because it just showcases what soy can do in terms of it's giving you this really rich and fulfilling kind of umami packed experience. But it's giving you something very different from how pot roast gives it to you. Yeah. But it still has the red wine, which is unconventional, and that was the whole thing about soy's approach, and this is a riff on kalbi Jim in this very kind of celebratory Korean dish in which you would not normally find red wine, but she's kind of bridging that gap. And I think it, it's fascinating how it kind of can sit across both worlds. Totally. So but yeah, I would look to those things. Hannah just did the oyster sauce, braised brisket. Yeah, yum. Big yum, big. So good. Biggest yum. I was also thinking like a big go all the way towards tomato. Like if it was really like a ragu type of vibe, but with your beef, could you make something that you would want to put on pasta? And maybe like Calabrian chili, do you like some spicy tomato E braze? Beef moment and you could even keep wine in there too. And that that could feel distinct from pot roast. Yeah, that's a really interesting point. That's a great one. You know what else? Here's what you Google, ready? You Google Bon Appetit, coconut, and lemongrass braised short ribs. These are so good. And it might not be the usual cut of beef that you're working with, but it's worth it to branch out, I think, and try some other. You said you've tried other cuts of beef, potentially in your experimentation you've tried short ribs. These ones are so good. They're bone in and with the coconut milk, a little bit of fish sauce, a little bit of lime. There's turmeric in there. There's some Thai chilies. This is so good. Such that our coworkers eat asks pretty much monthly for Rachel to make this for her. That's for fun. Just all the time when it was her birthday, they were like, you really got to do it now. It's so delicious. And this is definitely like texturally giving you beef stew and that it's like thick and stewy and homey and you want it over a rice and the beef is ready, but it is nowhere in the same neighborhood flavor wise. Yeah. Well, and that gave me the thought, maybe we don't even braise it at all. Maybe so this my brain went to this recipe I did years ago from 2016. Gosh. TBT. Shocking amount of time. Coconut marinated short rib kebabs with peanut chili oil. Marinating short rib in coconut milk. And aromatics. And then just grilling it. Wow. I mean, almost by default, can't be in the pot roast space. You know, when you're just kind of like straight up grilling short rib like that. Totally. And this chili oil with peanuts, I consider myself like a pretty good historian of the site. And I've never seen this recipe before in my life. It bums me out, you know, because this was a really strong kind of like how to be a better skewer maker. This is a whole package about skewers. And just generally speaking, don't mix your meat in your veg. Put all of one thing on one skewer and just control for how that wants to be cooked rather than all just splitting the difference and putting a whole bunch of stuff on there. So there's some fun takeaways here, but also, you know, just some of these things that we normally think of as braising cuts, like chuck, but honestly, short rib isn't that much more than chuck and wow, is it even more flavorful? Yeah. You know, if you give it a really nice marinade with a gentle kind of tenderizing effect like coconut milk, oh wow, the way it grills up, it will change your life. I need you to write back Savannah. Try one of these things, and will you get back to us? Because now we're involved when invested and we need to know. We're literally going to stand by. We'll never leave the podcast studio until we hear back from you. We'll do some other things in the interim, but we're standing by just generally speaking. "And so China, if you don't have the pipelines, it means you have to do it with boats. And so the boats have to sail all the way up to the Black Sea, and then you have is NATO going to be cool with Chinese tankers lining up is turkey going to be cool with it. These questions, yeah. Yeah, and those are both questions. International water issues. Less seriously, I remember how in November when Mars went through Scorpio and there was that funny, I mean, depending on your perspective, not so funny story about scorpions raining from the sky in Egypt at one point. I'm hoping maybe with Mars going through Pisces, maybe we'll have a story in the news about fish falling from the sky at some point. Well, and that does happen. It does have to work. And someone is set in the chat. So I think maybe we might see sharp needle, right? Isn't that what you mentioned in Austin? Right. So, yeah, yeah. But otherwise, so Mars is going into Pisces. It does on the one hand of free up Mars so that it's not getting slowed down as much by Saturn, and so we may see a speeding up of things. It does complicate the otherwise rosy picture of just Venus and Jupiter being there on their own and Pisces and especially moving through that sector or that whole sign House of everybody's chart and just indicating purely smooth or positive things for about a week. But despite complicating things and adding some friction, it also just will add movement to that part of everybody's chart, whatever house Mars is ingressing into once it moves into Pisces and just think about speeding things up and perhaps having more of a necessity to act at that point when Mars goes into that sector if your chart versus the Venus and Jupiter period of just like in some instances being able to relax and sit back and not really do anything, Mars can sometimes push us to act more than we might otherwise. It pushes the pace. I can't count how many times I've looked at a Mars transit and been like, I don't know, is this going to be some back going to happen? It's like not really what happens is just that there's lots to do. Like got to be on your ship, got to keep moving and got to keep getting it done. Mars likes tasks. Mars likes missions. And Mars is happy to assign you more than it seems doable. All right, so moving on, we do eventually come to our second lunation of the month, which we have to mention, which occurs on April 16th, and this is a full moon in the sign of Libra. I was looking at what that full moon is configured to in the closest aspect I was seeing was a square with Pluto from 28° of Capricorn to 26° of Libra, looks like the degree of the full moon. There is also a train with Saturn, which is a little bit more supportive or constructive. But yeah, the square with Pluto is a little bit tricky. The rulers are in great position though. Like the full moon in Libra looks to Venus, Venus is in great shape. And then the sun looks to Mars and Mars is in a much more chill position than we saw two weeks earlier. Yeah, I guess for some reason we may have a very charged Easter and Passover. Now what that means, I don't know, maybe that might also have some religious spiritual significance for some people. I hope it's not anything, you know, otherwise, but yeah, it's something else because, you know, as you all know, Easter is usually the first Sunday after the full moon so it's the very next day. Of the vernal equinox, sorry. Yeah, so we're talking about a full moon and things coming to light or something metaphorical like that. Sometimes literal, and then at the same time with its squaring Pluto, sometimes there are issues involving control or manipulation. So maybe broadly speaking, archetypal themes like that of things being brought to light involving controller manipulation. Yeah. All right. So after that, moving forward in the month, what is our next major aspect that we need to talk about? I see Venus moving into that triple conjunction with Jupiter and Neptune by the time we get later in the month. What we didn't really talk about mercury's ingress and Taurus. Orthodox. Sure, so the first one is mercury, which moves into Taurus around April 10th or 11th, and then several days later, by the 19th and 20th the sun also ingresses into Taurus, all of this is important because it's building up to a major torus event that occurs at the very, very end of the month, which we're going to save and talk about mainly in the next forecast episode, but this is that we move into eclipse season at the very end of April, and we have a major solar eclipse that takes place in the sign of Taurus on April 30th. So that's pretty big. That's a continuation of the eclipse series that started back in November when we had our first lunar eclipse in the sign of Taurus and so then 6 months later, we get this solar eclipse and that will be connected to a lunar eclipse and Scorpio that then will occur two weeks later in the middle of May. Yeah, that's a pretty charged one too. I mean, yeah, I guess you guys are going to talk about more in terms of me because I think it should just definitely be of a pair to talk about the April 30th and the May 16th. In terms of how those two because the May 16th also is a book and to the algol eclipse that we had in November. Yeah. Well, we can at least say that mercury and the sun's ingress and movement pretty swift movement through Taurus during most of April at this point, especially the second half of the April, is just a build up to and is increasing the focus and increasing communication and.

"And you're listening to the astrology podcast. In this episode, we're going to be talking about the astrological forecast for the month of April of 2022. Joining me today are astrologers Austin copic and special guest co host Samuel F Reynolds. Hey guys. Hey. All right, so first I'm going to give a little overview of the month ahead using our planetary alignments calendar and then we'll jump into a more detailed discussion and forecast immediately after that. So let me first share the calendar here. And here's a brief rundown of the astrology of April, so we start off the month with a new moon in the sign of Aries right away on April 1st, followed by a mercury kazimi on the 2nd of April. Then after that, we have one of our major alignments of this month, which is a Mars Saturn conjunction in Aquarius on April 4th, followed by Venus ingressing into Pisces on the 5th of April. The following week, mercury moves out of areas and moves into Taurus on the tenth and then we get our second major conjunction this month and the main outer planet conjunction that's taking place, which is a Jupiter Neptune conjunction that goes exact on April 12th. A couple days later, Mars moves out of Aquarius and into Pisces finally, then we get a full moon on the 16th and the sign of Libra. The sun moves into Taurus on the 19th, and then finally at the very end of the month, mercury ingresses into Gemini. There's a solar eclipse in the sign of Taurus and Pluto will station retrograde at 28° of Capricorn. So those are the main things we'll be talking about today. Here is all of that plotted onto a 12 sign sort of illustration of the zodiac. So you can see how all the planets are basically clustered up and moving through just three or four signs this month, which are Aquarius Pisces Aries and Taurus. Aside from that little full moon that's happening in the sign of Libra later on. All right, so that's the overview. Let's first introduce our guest. Sam, thanks for joining us today. This is your first time you've been on the podcast like many times in the past, but this is your first time doing a forecast with us. So thank you. That's correct. Thank you for having me. Yeah, and the three of us actually all go back again to the MySpace days back circa 2005, 2006. I think we all three of us started interacting first back then. When he was baron samadhi. We don't know what that refers to at this point. Yeah, it's been a while. But I don't know. Did we interact on MySpace or was it an early conference? I think we did. I mean, I talked to you a few times, I think, when you were the baron. Okay. Okay. Yeah. But I don't know if we did a lot of talking. Yeah, I think, anyway, but yeah, it's 15 years ish. Oh, more. Like 17 years, yeah, 17 years or so. Yeah, that is weird to say, but so yeah, so today we're going to be talking about the forecast for the following next month of April. We're recording this today on Friday, march 25th, 2022. We started at about 1215 p.m. here in Denver, Colorado, just for the record. And we're going to start with a little bit of review and talking about some of the astrology that has happened over the past month and how that turned out since the last time we did a forecast about four weeks ago, and then eventually we're going to jump into a detailed breakdown of the astrology of April. So we need to start with current events and what's been going on in the news. Obviously, one of the major things that happened, it actually started officially finally, I think, later the same night of or within 24 hours of us recording our last four cast, the war between Russia and Ukraine was launched literally that same night. And it was the main focus of our last forecast and we spent a lot of time talking about it. And then of course, for obvious reasons, it's really dominated the news and focus and attention of much of the world over the course of the past few weeks. Especially as we've had that interchange that we focus on so much between the conjunctions of Mars and Venus and now both of those planets piling up in Aquarius along with Saturn, so where should we start when it comes to that or what comes to mind, what have you guys been thinking about astrologically when it comes to that? Let me start with the egregiously literal part of it. So what we were looking at for much of the astrology of March was Venus being bodily between Mars and Saturn, which is in the traditional literature, referred to as a besieged mint, and seeing that besiegement happen in the sky and then having the news on a daily basis being about besieged cities. Impossible to for me to ignore. I was like, oh, it's besieged men. And even we have the besieged cities. And the idea of being caught between resonates on a couple different levels, you know, Ukraine has been caught between, in a sense, eastern and western forces for a long time. And then we also have the some of the strategy of attack has been literally to pincer or come at cities from multiple sides. And that's exactly that's, again, the excruciatingly literal condition of Venus being pincer by Mars and Saturn. Right. And that condition in Hellenistic astrology in the Greek text. The original called enclosure, but then, yeah, and by the medieval period with authors like Guido benatti, it was being called literally besiegement because the planet is surrounded on all sides by difficult planets, and it was thought to show things very literally like that, but you're right. That is really a literal manifestation of that that's been happening over the course of the past month and is also a continuation of just Venus has been in terrible shape for like months now since December when it went retrograde and Capricorn conjunct Pluto and then eventually once it started coming out of that, it was conjoined by Mars. Now it's enclosed by both malefics and it's not until April actually that we finally see some resolution of that with Jupiter with Venus moving out of that configuration and moving into Pisces the sign of its exaltation, where it eventually can join Jupiter, but it's been surprising how literal some of that is with the themes of that Venus represents peace and accord between people or between nations actually being almost under attack here over the past month or so. Yeah, and I think one other thing just to bring it home or closer to home, it's interesting to think about what I've talked about on your show thanks to Nick digging best in terms of Venus being a Morningstar coming out of her retrograde. You know, I expected things to be a lot worse in terms of racial relations in our country in the U.S. than they have been, so I think it's interesting to think about this Venus who has as a warning star coming out of a retrograde. Usually kind.

Even ted bundy did nice things. Once in a while point taken so then jillian candan could come and live with them after that so they bought a house but then things started to spiral after they returned from the bahamas just after their honeymoon just complained of having a rash on his penis and he blamed april. He said really horrible things to her like she wasn't clean and she'd given him herpes so this was pretty shocking to her and of course it hurt her feelings. April went to her gynecologist for checkup after that and she was diagnosed with a yeast infection. This was a common issue and she didn't have any sexually transmitted diseases. Still justin would insist that she had given him herpes just really to hurt her feelings. He was becoming very critical to the point of cruelty with april. And it didn't get any better. So april siblings julian candan moved in with her and just and but the stress was just too much for the young couple just in had a lot of difficulty with julie as she was becoming a rebellious teenager. So the kids went back to oklahoma but then they did visit as often as they could but justin cheated on april just two months after their wedding. This guy brian stead men had been a friend of justin's in grad and he would file an affidavit one month after april's death saying that justin had told him that in nineteen ninety nine. He had had an affair with a woman in new zealand. So he in. This woman would get together when justin there. I'm business even though the woman knew that justin was married to april so stegmann was of the opinion that justin was just a really odd guy in nineteen ninety eight after his father died justin had asked steadman for his pistol and then told him that he would have killed himself if he had gotten access to.

"Know i guess ashamed of it. Sure but people see it as a failure in their ashamed of it and we've talked about many murders before that were primarily done to avoid an embarrassing divorce. Your birth of especially among the church people are be able to understand that. You don't have to understand it. Just accept it okay. So after just nine months of dating april began to plan a big wedding with friends and family and oklahoma. But as she's doing this press planning able decided that it was way too much work. So april just an agreed to have a small wedding in the bahamas with just a few close friends and family members in attendance so they were married on august fourth nineteen ninety nine on the beach. April were a beautiful white traditional wedding gown and justin was in a formal tax with a black tie. Apparently before the marriage april had expressed some doubts to her friends about getting married. She seemed to know that the marriage would be difficult. Just an actually told her that. His career came before anything including her and executive path. That ryanair's would require frequent moves. And he expected able to follow him wherever we went she was also expected to stay petite and never gained a pound above her marriage wait. Justin rarely complimented her and often criticized her grammar and a personal hygiene. That's them talking about how he would kind of. Look down on her talk down to her. So if you can imagine a friend telling you this about their relationship with someone you probably would tell them. Don't marry this person. Well sounds like she was unsure that why if you have all these doubts why would you go ahead with the marriage while people are complicated dickey. There's all kinds of reasons. I'm sure keep telling me that it's true. It is so these sounded like some red flags to the friends who april confided in but for april. She was able to push her concerns aside because she thought justin just seemed so much more mature than the other guys she dated and she liked. How career focused he was. She really wanted to be successful and raise her siblings. And like i said also that earlier divorce made april feel very secure that he was going to do everything necessary to make the marriage work. Avoid another divorce. Not sure that. I'd be that certain that because of the first divorce he's going to work harder on a second marriage while you might not be but i would say this is a girl in her twenty s. She's in love with them and that's what she felt in what she thought she did. So they had a short honeymoon after the wedding then. Justin went to work for rainier in douglas. So you're you're broke the mold on this one, but there are a lot of people would have stories that are transformational that need to be shared and they don't have giant bounces and they just have a message that will have an impact on the world. And so when you're in this generosity culture of focusing on just like abundance and making a difference. And not looking at what's in it for me. What's in for me? The universe really Returns the favor in incredible ways. I can put this in my business focusing on the h's not the M's. Right. So the ages are the people helped not not the end the money earned. Yeah. So if you focus on the ages off the ends the M's are always taking care of themselves and it's interesting because the people who don't believe that the people who their visceral reaction is, that's not going to happen that is telling you right there that you're off a scarcity mindset because if you have the mindset that there is more than enough for all of us that will begin to appear in your life so much more quickly than you realize. Like a snap of your finger like that and that's the It's just.

It will be available on itunes and spotify. It should be up. If all goes well should be up to day But you never know. They could take a little while but the release date is listed for today. So hopefully it's up but It's not technically a new new song. This is actually a piece. That i made for a little short film a couple of years ago and i had the idea for a while to release it as its own. Stand long Just single release because it's just a really cool piece of music But i always wanted to kind of revise it and just do a few things to it.
