"Queen is. You're like the hangover kind of thing. Yeah we'll probably find him on the roof sunburn. He'd probably bed that we won't go look for him. What is leaving our jacob tagger. We'd love the my favorites. We'd have to go. Look for tyler. That'd be interesting we go look for. We'd have leave no man behind if it takes me going to vegas. I'm never they abandoned. Never we would never do that. Band of brothers steps. That's exactly right all right Considering the quarterback situation in the division outside of tennessee. I don't see how the tennessee titans are. Not the i will make this public. I think they're the sneaky. Est non super bowl talk that we have. We're gonna blink and they could have twelve wins year and mike able loves it. They fly under the radar. I mean when you go through and say this team this team this and you know we. Also we left out tennessee. Now i know people in texas. Don't wanna hear that. I'm just telling it with a quarterback situation every single one of them influx or not with a superstar or that guy. And the shawn's the best quarterback in this division. And it's not. There's no doubt. But i can make the argument when it comes to consistency and winning over the last two and a half years time tannehill has been the best best play by and he's got the best running back in the nfl at a big help. He's not the best but he's he's managed to fit perfectly into what they're doing is what i'm saying. It's so hard to tackle. Henry and ten hill is an accurate thrower and he's a good mobile quarterback and he has leadership qualities. This has been such a great fresh start and change of scenery for him out of miami to be there in nashville with variable. I think they're not going to miss a beat. I think it's gonna keep going. Aj only gonna get better. That guy's a really good wide receiver. Yes they'll miss. Johnny smith and the explosiveness of the tight end position. But you think about tennessee. They're building something a really strong foundation and they do get overlooked because what most people think of the south division. They don't think very much of it and the titans you know. I'll say it go ahead and crown them i did. They're going to be the division champions by can't argue that. I thought if wentz came back confident good they got a good roster but that position so important and now that the injuries aaron behind tamp i. I'm trying to figure out. Because i was my question about him was where was his head. And then the injury rears its head and now it's not only whereas head. Hopefully training camp was going to get it back and frank reich and all that but now he's behind that so now we got to. We've got a guy who's confidence was shot. When he was in philadelphia at the end injuries have been have hovered. And now you've got him not playing and now you're still wondering okay. What rhythms they get in win. Does he get in. Where's this will. He be ready by game. One the tennessee titans of the clearly the best team in division without the quarterback there in indianapolis the class of the division. And they don't have a lot of holes and as long as the defense holds up in its end of the bargain. You're gonna see the titans when a lot of football games. And i do have some questions about the colts because i'm not sure about carson wentz. I wonder if him mentally is he. Shell shocked from what happened in philadelphia and yes being reunited with frank reich is good for him good for his psyche. But i have some questions. I love some things. They've put together but they've had some injuries. Even when nelson i know him carson are going to make it back from the foot injuries. But we'll see how they are when they get back on the field. What do they look like. And then jacksonville has been really a bad team. That's why they got the top overall pick and we're able to draft trevor lawrence lawrence. He looked fine. I think he looked okay and his first. Preseason game please. Justin fields perhaps but less mistakes than fields to. He'll be all right but you think about you know where are they. Are they better than the texans. I'm not sure that they are. I think that the texans and this isn't saying much are still better than the jaguars you so. Mc i think it's at. I think split i think. The jaguars have i'm going to set. The i think they ended up five or six. So then that would me now. I think it's too bad team to top ten teams in the draft competing against each other. That my problem with the texans for this season again. It's nothing against them and they might be more solid in areas and everything. I look at the schedule. And i go. Where do i find wins. The road games were brutal. Cleveland buffalo indie arizona. San francisco like tennessee tennessee. Then you got road games against the home games against the chargers patriots. Obviously your division opponents. Who else am i missing in their seattle like. I just think that. I think their schedules insanely difficult. I think you're gonna win a game here there that we own expected split with jacksonville. Like yeah or colts if winces and yet they'll beat one of the teams are not suppose introduce their points so many heavyweights. We're gonna look at it. I'm mike they're not better teams. They don't sweep the jaguars and beat the patriots instant very long year. And it's going to be like you know where they are going to be at the wind projections people. Many people have for them if they win those games and still one from the colts. Five five six five six is the to me the ceiling. I think i'm betting the over a four. And a half. I am i i think i am now. It may be just a half game over five wins but you still win the bet right. So i'm leaning towards that because the defense can't be worse. They seem to be more motivated. They just can't be worse. They've campy wants to run. The defense is at corner bradley roby. Is he a true number. One corner you know. He's their number one corner though terrance mitchell. I just don't know if they have enough at corner. And that's my concern vernon hargraves. Who led the nfl and fantasy points allowed is going to be out there at outside corner against jacksonville. I get you through the jacksonville. Then you get roby back from the one game that's left on his six game suspension. And then you kind of see. How does the defense look altogether if they're getting a lot of pressure without blitzing. If this defensive line is good for us with four if levy can you get that done then yeah out the back end there. Even let's say they find out one of fifteenth or sixteenth in total defense this year after being thirty four games. Yeah but lovey is a big factor. They had a rookie defense quarter. Last year love anthony. Weaver great guy but he was learning on the job last year. How defense quarter never did it before that wound up. Not being a great decision and they didn't have enough guys now. Linebacker looks a lot better. Especially off the ball with christian kirksey zach cunningham and kevin pierre louis those three guys all capable of making a lotta tackles all fast fast linebacking corps they got. They're gonna have to upset somebody they're not supposed to be but they'll protect the ball enough to be in games. I believe that now. Finally we got about two minutes before we pop on out of here in private. We always talk about teams. Don't take an oem. see you want that. I pick next year is basically. You don't want to be stuck is.

"Thing in broadcasting that since the season ended, so certainly no surprise here was just a matter of when and would they trade him? Or would they release him and he wanted to be Released so I'd have a chance to sign with any team. He's gonna have a lot of suitors, and he wants to play for Super Bowl contender and he wants to have fun again because it had been funnier. Jane was terrible this year at all kind of controversial and there's one reason to Sean watching. I'm guessing watching wants to be traded. We still haven't heard anything from watching. Or from his agent David more together on the record, And so I'm curious toe. Hopefully someday find out exactly why Watson was to be traded instead of air in here having tea. Oh, read and hear it, Thirdhand. But everybody is that people like he feels like he died. Went to heaven. Mark. What do you think of some good spots for him? Potentially Don't think money will be an issue. I don't think he's going to sign with a bad team with a lot of cab money that would throw something at him. I don't know anybody that will throw money at him. J. J. I'll be 32 next month, He played 16 games They played, I think Was one of only two defensive lineman to play at least 1000 snaps this season. He was a lead the league and tackles for loss against Iran. He had a career low five sex, but that wasn't indicative of him. That was indicative of them not having anybody. Help him with the passwords. He hasn't anybody since they traded heavy on cloudy. Theo Seattle. I mean, yeah, Seattle after the 2018 seasons. So what's fired up? You know, he's got great work at that great character, and I think he wants to go with it. Contender. We all think he loved to play with his brothers. At this bar. We think the backers air possibility because you grew up loving. The Packers has a home in in the woods outside worry, Grip it Blocking was constant, a suburb of Milwaukee and a team that I would say mark to keep an eye on. You have a number one Tennessee Titans, but one day as he sat with 11 and five record, but they had only 19 sex. Their defense was mediocre too much. And the to pass rushers They signed today Be on Clowney. Vic Beasley did this squad made whatever coming back so I could see my Grable who had a great relationship with white here going after him, And I tweeted this morning mark outside. I don't know if this is anything to do with it. And I was game of things. But Amy Adams strung was the first owner besides the Texans of Good Money and the watch Hurricane Harvey relief, but she lives outside of Houston, and she gave him a million dollars for his relief fund. And I know she thinks highly of him, so the Titans would be a perfect spot. They could play immediately. Put it next to Jeffrey Simmons. They're terrific junk. Defensive tackle take some pressure off him Marriage made in heaven. He also is very tight with Anthony Weaver, who was defensive coordinator here been defensive line coach for five years. He just got our by Baltimore Ravens have cap issues and they have pass rushers who could be leaving for more buddy and and they like like The type of Green Bay and this month they're all should be Super Bowl contenders. John McClane, Houston Chronicle is with us. So S O. Even in mentioning what you just said about why JJ wants out. The dish on Watson situation still learned looms. We've heard 100. People say it. The Texans organization right now, at least, is dysfunctional. Do would you describe it that way? And how would you describe whatever it is that's going on. Absolutely fans of media here, killing them as you can imagine, And people want the big dares to sell the team, and I said in fairness to the calving there, uh Cal Big Mary, and since he replaced his dad died of cancer, the team has been 11 and 5, 10 and 612 division titles and one playoff game over Buffalo and then and then this year bottomed out in four and 12 so they've had one bad year. There's a lot of teams have had more than one bad year, you know they and so But the way they're headed right now is they're headed straight back to the playoffs. They're headed for the top thinking in 2022 draft. They don't have their number one or two this year to complete to trade for Laramie Thompson, Kenny Stills, They have a big started him third round, but in 2022, they have their regular pigs, which should be really high. It's not The top of the nature around so people it's amazing People act like here. They've been losers for a long time. People are always blasting them. But the truth is, they've had one bad year. Out of the last three. So Where does then the dish on situation go from this perspective, like you even just said everyone's waiting for something firm with two Sean you've gotten to know to Shawn over the last few years. What is the believability in your mind that he comes ready to play real hardball through the summer? Oh, I think without a doubt if he doesn't get traded by April, 29th the first day of the draft He's out for the summer that I could see him sitting out regular season until he has to report to get credit for this season, which I believe is four games. Otherwise, if you set out the entire season, his contract with tall and the 10.4 million that he's owed Go into 2022 when he's supposed to make 35 weeks, first year of his new $156 million extension, so I don't think he'd be gone the whole season, But I could sing coming in for the minimum number of games. And if that's the case, the only other contracts quarterback they have under contract market. Josh McCown at 1.75 million they could re sign a J. McCarron would make a stereo could go after veteran that he knows from New England like Jack Tobey. Presenter can bigger He could sign somebody like Andy Dalton or Jamis Winston. We haven't seen Nick this stereo in charge. Nobody has Yeah, he was done between the Bell balletic in New England. So that's the first time he's had final say on personnel, so we're not going to know how he operates till we see him for a season. So when they say they're not trained to Sean, do you believe him? Believe right now they're not trying to shot. I know that's what they're thinking. But here's my thinking and I'm get the fans don't want him traded. But it's some 0.22 sides Dad to meet He won't return her calls. Obviously, that's part of the strategy, but they have new GM and new coach and David Cully. You have an offensive coordinator that he wanted them to bring back and they have Tim Kelly. They have a terrific quarterback coach and Pep Hamilton did such a tremendous job with Justin Herbert last year, so they'd like to talk to him, and I think at some point before the draft I'm not talking about the week of the draft because right now they're telling everybody know that watching in his agent David will get it to get with him in Houston said with them and watching should spell out to them exactly why he wants to leave and into stereo and Kelly need to spell out to him exactly what their plan is. Turn around the team that went from 10 and 61 of the playoff game, 24 and 12 and being in such disarray right now, and one of the things that watching told us in his last name was I just wanna hold up Lombardi Trophy. I tell everybody Necessary. Oh, zealot up six times. He's got six for up because he's got six ways. He knows what it takes Asian telling buying those rings, But I'm out there and say, I know how to get this done, and it starts with a great quarterback and I need you to help me. Let's get this done together. And if that doesn't help, and he still insists, will sit out. And be willing to risk risk losing millions and millions of dollars in fines and income. Why would you want to force you got to come back and play for you? If he was miserable to me, you call the Jets and you tell them we'd like to make a trade with you. It's not you. Miami number three Yeah, but we can help you catch the bills fast. If you make.

"Luneau, the G M A. J. Hinch, the manager fired Justin Verlander out for the season after one start team goes 29 31 Rockets get blown out in the playoffs Texans go for in 12 That was just in 2020. That would be a bad year Pandemic or no, That would be a bad year for any sports city, right? Best players, leaving Teams, underachieving cheating scandals, all those things. I'm here to tell you that in the first six weeks of 2021 Somehow, the sports gods have managed to punish his and even more in those six weeks. Then they did for all of 2020. James Harden traded George Springer, who was a World Series M V P and the only World Series ever one leaves for Toronto. J. J. Watt leaves to Shawn Watson teetering on the brink of leaving And that that doesn't even begin to encapsulate. All the dysfunction going on with the Texans. I'm talking about all those people leaving, and Jack Easterby is still here. Soap. Sale that to say this about JJ Watt. I'm here to talk about where he should go next. I have my opinion on it. I have places. I'm rooting for him to go. I'll root for JJ Watt, probably wherever he goes with maybe a couple of exceptions just cause I can't bring myself to root for those teams. Tennessee Dallas. Maybe New England Kansas City, possibly handful of teams. I can't bring myself to root for. Generally speaking, I'll be rooting for J. J. Watt. But what I'm here to tell you is that this show that I do on Sundays. Here on the network, bringing this unique Houston perspective on all these things. Really just boils down to all of you cities out there. Wanting to get your hands on our great players. Oh, James Harden's available Well, he'd look awfully good in a filling name of team here uniforms. George Springer. We could use an outfielder whose great in the postseason And then the biggest icon in the last 20 years. JJ Watt. Basically what I'm telling you is, this show has essentially turned into pawn stars. And I'm the bald headed Pawnshop. I think his name's Rick. Pretty sure not Chumley. That that dude His pawn stars still on. I watched it for a while. I don't watch it anymore. I don't I don't look out for it anymore. But that's what I feel like. The next four hours. I know the phone calls I'm gonna get are here are our offers for dish on Watson. And then you'll proceed. Offer me far too little for a franchise quarterback. Now it's J J. What I'm here for it, though. Does make for interesting radio 855 to 1 to four CBS 855 to 1 to 4 to 27. They actually have odds out on where JJ Watt could end up next, and I think they've got the right to teams at the top just in terms of the narrative. One of the two they have at the top. I actually feel might be the best fit, and that's the Green Bay Packers. They're the favorite. Had minus 1 50 means you got a better 150 bucks. You gotta risk. No, I'm sorry. Plus 1 50, You gotta risk 120 150. They're the favorite. And I think they might make the most sense for JJ Watt. They were in the NFC title game last year, so they're inherently a Super Bowl contender. They've got the reigning league MVP, and Aaron Rodgers, a quarterback is taking care of. And you've got to really feel good story. JJ Watt grew up in the small town of Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Rooting for the Green Bay Packers. He grew up two hours from Green Bay. That would be a great story. That's an easy one to root for. Number two on the list is the Pittsburgh Steelers. They're 2 to 1. Plus 200. You gotta risk 100 to win 200 You double your money. Risk. 100 win 200. Pittsburgh Steelers. I honestly Pittsburgh's a good team. They made the playoffs this year. If TJ want and Derek want We're not named what you know if it was, uh TJ Robiskie and Derek McGillicuddy. You know, they have different last names that they weren't his brothers. I feel like Pittsburgh would we would be way down on the list. That way down, but further down the list. I don't think the Steelers are a real Super Bowl contender next year. Not with Ben Roethlisberger, a quarterback. They're gonna lose guys on that defense. Now, if you pick up, JJ what That certainly does. Ah, lot to make up for losing, But Dupri But if JJ's main goal is to win a Super Bowl, he can't let the lure Of playing with his brother's cloud his judgment cause to me Pittsburgh is is a ways down the list. They're They're good team. They're one of the 10 or 12 Best teams in football. But I don't think they're one of the six best teams in football. I'll tell you what I think is a good fit, and this is a team that struggled to get over the hump in the postseason. So I say that knowing that, but it's a team with a really, really good culture, and it's the Baltimore Ravens. The Baltimore Ravens, I think, make a lot of sense, and here's why Baltimore Great culture. JJ's leaving one of the worst cultures and football here in Houston. Right now, he would be going to a team whose mantra is their culture. They it's an incredible football culture with Baltimore. That's number one. Number two. It's a good football team with a good quarterback Lamar Jackson was the M V P year or so ago. Sure, they've got some things they need to work on. And they need to, you know, they're gonna need to figure out how to throw the football in the postseason. But good quarterback number three. This is something that probably not a lot of you know. J. J. Watts, former position coach with the Texans and defensive coordinator last year, Anthony Weaver is now the defensive line coach with the Baltimore Ravens. J. J. Watt is very fun of Anthony Weaver. Go check his Twitter feed. Very fine of Anthony Weaver..

Lamar Jackson Justin Verlander Ben Roethlisberger JJ Watt Derek McGillicuddy Jack Easterby Anthony Weaver Derek Shawn Watson James Harden Baltimore Ravens J. J. Watts Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers TJ J. J. Watt George Springer Steelers Pittsburgh Steelers Rick

"F S R studios, also known as the Magic Radio box. At a baseball monologue. Last hour. We go back to our roots football kind of football. It's the story within the story. So Bill O'Brien, the much maligned Bill O'Brien. I was sent away. He was sent packing as coach of the Texas We talked about that in a previous episode of this show, But this story continues to percolate as it ricochets all around the pinball machine. Of sports chatter. Now there was another juicy chapter. In the last 24 hours about Bill O'Brien's demise as coach of the Texas So if you were following along with this and I may be just watching baseball day and you have a job in a life and you were not paying attention, so I'll get you caught up. I give you the truncated version of events, so we have been told that Bill O'Brien got into multiple Verbal disagreements. Of a personal nature, right? And it was all it was all over the place. He was fighting with you and the guy in the back of the guy over there. All this went down, supposedly in recent weeks now the most notable name on this list J. J. Watt. Now J. J. Watt, the long time defensive stalwart. Of the Houston section two years ago, was one of the top top top top top players in football. Now he's good, but not topped up top. So J. J. Watt and Bill O'Brien If you believe the narrative here got into a heated, heated argument on the practice, we have God forbid. And Bill O'Brien, then turn into a spitting match with defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver. He was mad. He was angry. So. J. J. Watt then posted a cryptic tweet on Tuesday following the removal of Bill O'Brien, and it showed the Texan stadium With the roof being open and the sun shining through. Certainly implying you would think that this is now a great day because Bill O'Brien is gone. Know what I met with the media in Houston and was asked about that and claim. What do you think? You said? Yeah, I hated Bill O'Brien's guts. I want to strangle him, and I couldn't come to that decision because I didn't want to go to jail. Or did he play the good cop? Not the bad cop. Let's go to the audiotape years, J. J. Watt on his former coach, Bill O'Brien. I appreciate what built that I'm very thankful What Bill did I mean, trying to get me to go down the road here and we went for division titles in six years. The one thing I'll say about Billa Bhai is you always stood up for his players. You know, I've been in meetings with him and things like that off the field. Certainly he tried to do whatever possible to support his players and give his players the absolute best support and I truly boot. But he always did what he believed was best for this football team, so I don't have ill will at all, so no, but I do look forward to a fresh start. I do think that there's an energy and excitement and we're looking forward to going out and getting a win and get going. Wanna know that's our goal. All right. So long sound by what do you make of J. J. Watt here and his comments? No Ill will Of Bill O'Brien in his demise. Now I've got the FBI Shakespearean And liberty and we will combine all of these things together will make some banana cream pie now, eh? I spent a lot of time listening to that sound bite and other sound bites. An exhausting Mather show investigation. Very thorough, very thorough and exhausting. And so we got to go back to this sound by before I go any further here and I would like to break this J. J Watt sound bite that we played here. Down's a brutal film style frame by frame. Because my Spidey like senses tell me that J. J. Watt was being a wee bit disingenuous. So let's parse the words and the mannerisms. And there are several tells here now, why don't we play it again? Play it again, Roberta. Let's hear at least part of this. J. J Watt sound bite again. I appreciate what built that I'm very thankful What Bill did I mean, trying to get me to go down the road here and we went for division titles in six years. The one thing I'll say about Billa violence, You always stood up for his players. All right. So the one phrase right in the middle there where he did what he thought. Was right for the football team. Not what was right for the football team. What Bill Bryan thought was right for the team. Now, having read the handbook to lying. It was written by former FBI agents. Pretty good book if you want. You a sports talk radio show and figure out when people are lying, so J. J Watt did several things that are dead giveaways, dead giveaways of someone who's lying. All right. You want to know the list? I wrote down some chicken scratch here. He had rapid blinking when you blank rapidly. That's a sign. It's a tell people who are stressed out from lying will blink in rapid succession cord that book, the handbook Toe lie. J. J. Watt also looked up to the right quite a bit at the beginning of that soundbite now, right handed people. According to this book, If you're right handed if you look up to your right Then you're inventing the answer out of thin air, and you're looking up to the right and you're like, Let me grab the answer over here. While it's in my head. I'll grab My right hand was getting a workout. Final piece of evidence So J. J Watt used. Um and ah I counted seven times. He was tongue tied. So not only were his eye movements and the rapid blinking the looking up to the right tells of a cheat. But when you say um and awe that can also be a tell linguists tell us that people who often use arm and awe there obviously having trouble communicating. You know, because maybe you're I don't know. Lying right now. Part B of this, Bill O'Brien. Deserve to be fart. I'm not going to tell you he didn't weigh had him fired years ago. In this show, we had fired Bill O'Brien, the Magic radio box a long time ago. He didn't do a good job, and he didn't know good enough job. The playoff wins were for Gezi. They were gifts. The Raiders had their backup quarterback after Derek Carr got hurt, and Buffalo gave the game away that they had in their hand when Josh Allen was very generous. In this past post season. The theatrics, though That's what I want to talk about the feet at tricks. Around the departure. I find comical just say it didn't work. The team was going the wrong direction instead..

"And Broncos does that game get played. I'm going to say Noah's well. Cause I think that They're going to look for the Tennessee situation, and there's a lot more cases with Tennessee. They didn't play last week was the right decision. And now, since there are cases this week, I don't think they play because they look at what happened with do England. Last week was the point I was making where they did play. And now guess what happens. You got two more players after the game test positive, So I'm going to say we have two games that won't be on the schedule this week. Patriots Broncos and you also not have bills and and Tennessee you agree with me on on Patriots Broncos Now with that number being at three. I don't think so. You know what's to be fair. It's actually really a too because Cam was last week and it came to negative test this week that he could plants on the Yeah, I think it was just two or even three. If another guy does test positive. I think they'll just take those three guys that tested positive. Quarantine them And then if everybody else is ready to go, I think they're going to play the game because if they don't absolutely have to reschedule, then I think they're just going to move forward and play these games. Well, here's the other thing as well. I think the NFL is just going to keep on rolling the dice here until they keep on just Just not getting the numbers that they want to find Gilmore from what I read. The Patriot traveled in two planes. People that were exposed to Cam and then people that weren't exposed to Cam, which I don't know how they determined that, I guess with contact tracing and all that. Gilmore was on one of the plane. I think theyjust travel like 18 20 players. I don't know how this thing spreads. I had a friend tombs. Father had Cove. It Is in the same room as obviously his wife. You know, Father and this kid's mother and the mom never got over it. So How many of those players that were also on the plane are going to get Cove. It. That's what I wonder. I, You know, there's no science here. There's everyone you know, even guys at the CDC. Even Dr Foulke, who I think it's unfair shake here. Ah, lot of times. If we're being really no one. This is an unprecedented stuff. No one has the right answers is what we're getting at. But if I if I was a betting man right now, it would not surprise me tomorrow later tonight. More. On Friday. If we find out that more Patriots players have it, and if that's the case, the NFL is going to take a beating nationally. And once again, here's what I'll say. If you're criticizing the NFL wher you demanding him when you imploring the NFL. Do not play. This Patriot chiefs came among the night if you were, then you have every right to hammer the NFL. If you weren't you were okay with it. So you're basically saying that that was all right for the NFL to play that game. All right, let me get to Bill O'Brien real quickly. This is from Erin Wilson, who covers the Texans think he covers the Texans for the Houston Chronicle. So Darren Wilson tweeted this out today. Bill O'Brien got into an argument with defensive and J. J. Watt and defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver on the practice field along with verbal altercations with other staff members during his final weeks, his coach general manager before being fired, according to league sources. Don't you love Connor? How this comes out now? Because if we're being real And I think this J J Watt situation happened. I talked about this with trace when the report came out on Monday that he was feuding with prominent players. I said, Well, who's the prominent players on the Texans? It's either J. J Watt or it's the Shawn Watson. And I'm sure there's some pent up frustration with both of them because J. J. Watt is towards the end of his career, maybe towards the end of his career in Houston and is the end of his career overall, and this guy just wants to in a Super Bowl teams have been to the playoffs, but they really had never done significant damage. In the playoffs. And Shawn Watson. He's always going to say the right things, but you know, down deep. He has to be furious. Absolutely furious that he doesn't have DeAndre Hopkins anymore. So there's probably a boiling point. And I was a little bit surprised that this move happened as quickly as it did even though I did say that that move with Hopkins was going to get him fired. When you give someone a GM tag, you don't expect him to get fired for four weeks into the GM tag. So for J. J. Watt. Here's the way that I envision it. I think what transpired. Everyone wanted to say something Everyone wanted to speak out. But you know that O'Brien is such a nut job. That you didn't want to be the guy to speak out. So there's one thing when your own one. There's another thing when your own too. Okay. Lost to the Chiefs. You lost to the Ravens. Then you become a 13. Like after all on three you go. All right. The organisation for some reason trusted this guy. Any traded away, DeAndre Hopkins. This guy has been a good coach of this leaks in 2014, but he's never taken the next step. And eventually, J. J. Watt probably just turned into the human hole and slammed down the cellar. Envision it a blocking practice pad in practice, just threw it down. One of those blocking bags freaked out and said to Bill O'Brien, What the heck have you done? No, we were a team that yes, we blew a 24 point lead and the divisional round. But we were moving in the right direction. We have a stud franchise quarterback, and I'm sure he would probably say this publicly. But now you surrounded us with David Johnson, Randall Cobb, Brandin cooks, and the offense is worse and the and we don't have DeAndre Hopkins anymore. That's why I want to envision it that that's the way that it did go down. And J. J Watt was probably saying you traitor. Wagered Avion cloudy. All right, you don't want to sign into a long term extension. All you got back was Barkevious Mingo Jacob Martin, A third round piccolo. That's not enough. Then. We got to the playoffs. You blew that 24 point lead in the play offs given right that some of it's on you. Some of it's on US players. And then you come up with this genius, stinking idea. To trade DeAndre Hopkins. And even if DeAndre Hopkins wanted out You couldn't get back a first round pick for him. So J. J..

"It may not be that he expected to be gone this soon, but you know if this year is not going to work out, it's a real long shot. Obviously, the Texans get back into this thing. Then I think he probably realized that this was going to be his last chance. Now that the general manager's spot is open. Could they revisit somebody like Rick Smith? Could they go out there and look for the next great young star? They could be the key. Gotta watch. There's a guy named Jack Easterby. He came from New England. Ironically, I think O'Brien brought him over on. He's now the executive vice president of football operations in Houston. So he's got a lot of power. There are a lot of sway. It may be that they want to hire the coach first, as we see in a lot of organizations and then sort of marry him with a GM that they know he can work with. So I I don't know exactly which way they'll end up going like my sense is that they would look coach first at the end of this season and try and find a pairing that works, but they have a long time to figure it out. I think the easy guess that people are making is Josh McDaniels, who has a relationship with Easter be from New England. But we know that doesn't always work out. Even when exactly was Josh McDaniels. So, like they like both of their coordinators, right, Tim Kelly on offense, Anthony Weaver on defense. Those guys have a chance to show something here in the remaining 12 games. And, of course, you know they'll look into all the candidates. I mean, Eric, be enemy. I think Brian table on Buffalo Getsem looks and we really don't know who will emerge as hot head coaching candidates over the next three months. So Houston has a lot of time to survey the entire landscape here and figure out what they want to do, Dan. What do you think factors in for some of these coaches about this opportunity? Because the Texans, it seems like they have no scope for rebuilding. The next two first round picks belong to Miami. And virtually have no salary cap. They have the quarterback and that's AH, long time ago, Mike Shanahan told me. So when I when somebody talks to me about a head coaching job, my first two questions are who's the quarterback? And who is the owner? So I think you know Cal McNair, who inherits the team from his late father. I think he's pretty well regarded around the league, and obviously so is dash on Watson as a super talented young quarterback with a winning pedigree. Obviously coming out of college, so I think people will want to work with him and see that is a situation where they can build around him, obviously is going to work to do obviously put together a defense and And make sure you maintain the group around Watson, but I think I think it will have some appeal because of the quarterback. Okay, so Bill Bryan out as the head coach and our G m other coaches a rehearing at her on the hot seat within an NFL. I don't think it's any big secret. I mean, if you look at the standings, right, I mean, Dan Quinn in Atlanta is owned four and it feels like he's been on the hot seat every year. You know, for the last couple of years, we heard Out of the Jets last week after their ve fellow and for that they're not going to make a move with Adam Gay, So we take them at their word. He gets the rest of the year. The lion's head into a bye week at one and three, and we know that Matt Patricia is under pressure to win this year. I think the question becomes Does does one of these teams Macon in season move, and if so, what's the reason to do it? I think with Houston they just felt like it was timeto move on and look toward the future and again, maybe give those coordinators a little bit of a chance. To shine. Where, as you know, is Detroit going to get much better this year and get back into contention if they make a move? Same thing with Atlanta, where point has a good relationship with ownership?.

"Cousins play-action straight in the pocket to the end zone touchdown own flag on the play Stealing brought it in nine yards score in the Vikings lead Thursday 3:16. So this is frustrating in Houston right now. I'm just going to read a couple of things that JJ Watt had to say who was visibly frustrated after the game rightly. So I said we have to do something different. This isn't working something needs to change be different. All I can do is work harder asked about no turnovers. This year is just very frustrating if I had suggestions, I would make them giving up yards and points. He says not going to win many games that way I can control when I control story is we got to stop the run. We got to prevent passing. I mean like it just it sounds like there's just a lack of answers for Houston and on offense look at hasn't been much better, you know, they were in a position to go down there and win this game or get close to winning this game with that will Fuller touchdown that ends up getting taken off. The board do the Bobble as he was going to the ground. It's just it just has not looked right on offense and it's looked downright bad on defense. I mean you have a lot of change right? You have a lot of change office of coordinator trying to figure out how the call the game Bill O'Brien May step back in and take over some of the play-calling duties. You have a new defense coordinator and Anthony Weaver taking over for Romeo Crennel. He is trying to figure out how to coordinate the front end with the back end after being a d line coach. And so with all the change in the coaching ranks. It is playing out on the field and I don't know how talented this team is in charge of the blue-chip talent. JJ Watt is not quite the player that he wants was but they certainly are good enough to have a win on The Ledger at some point. And so they have to get back to basics. They need to make sure defensively they cannot let the ball fall out the head they have to be able to stop the run and force people into a one-dimensional approach until they're able to control the game defensively. It doesn't really matter what they do on offense..

"If I told you that I made it to 1 806 368686 Get up in here. Telephone calls coming up, but first things first. We're joined right now by an NFL insider for CBS Sports and CBS sports dot com. He appears every Sunday on the NFL today during the regular season and postseason. We consider him an extremely good front of program. He's co host of Inside Access on one of 57 the fan in Baltimore. He is Jason Locke. And for Ah J. L See what's going on. Jason, How are you? I can't complain. Brother can't complain. We've got actual riel. Regular season football games is a beautiful thing. And I hope you and your friends and family and doing well out. Kelly, we are glc. Thanks for saying so. I would say the same thing about you and your family. Jason. How good How good did it feel to have the NFL back last night? It was. I mean, look at that There was It obviously wasn't your corporal Thursday night kick off, and I think we've all come to the last six months to understand that things are going to be a little different, and not all the Bells and whistles that we're accustomed to in terms of what the stadium's look like and in terms of what the broadcast looked like, are going to be the same. For obvious reasons, at least not In the short term, but The game was pretty crisp. I mean, I thought for you know, all the sort of hand wringing about no training camps and tackling and is this going to be ugly and let's face it. We've complained in normal years about September football and how some teams look markedly more prepared to play than others. But it was, you know, it was. It was a quality product. It was it was, you know, looked like a regular NFL and it was the regular NFL and Uh, Now the two franchises that are in very different places, and for one, the arrow continues to seem pointed remarkably up, and for the other. We may be talking about protections, you know, 12 15 18 months from now, the way we've talked about the Jaguars for the last year, which his boy remember that we'll play off one they had They lost in them, You know, they kind of fell off the map. Maybe maybe to sell lots is good enough to keep that from happening by himself. Oh, ah, collective around him. I don't know that's going to get a whole lot of health. Jason locking for joining us. All right, So I agree with everything you just said. Let me ask you about Casey when you look at what they did on offense last season, and then you add Clyde Edwards a lair into that, man. How much better that offense Bea this year? Well, I mean, look, the Texas air, not a good defensive football team. I have a lot of respect for Anthony Weaver. I think he's going to emerge. As a bright mind on defensive play caller, But they have been good for years and I don't know what they did in the off season. That would give anybody an indication that from a talent standpoint, they were any better. So I don't want to go too crazy with this. Right? They had the training wheels on last night on offense, You know, it's like you want to play two deep safeties. You want death by 1000 paper cuts, but we could do that, too, will hand it off to this back. And you know the rookie will hand it off to our fullback. Well, Duncan Duncan, but circulate the ball down. The field will do jump passes the Kelsey barely over the line of scrimmage. We'll get our yak will take the underneath stuff and come on, Jim, if they want to score for you last night. That could've. I mean, when was 31 straight? It's 31 7. They took. They even took that They took the training wheels off. They took both wheels off. You know, they just the bike wouldn't even move. They didn't have to. They just bled the clock. And that was that. But the idea that the fastest show on grass and all the downfield stuff Yeah, that's still there. All the speed still there. But they could beat you this way to Andi still roll up a ton of points and play bully ball and not let you possess the football yourself. So, yeah, that that that that's a thing. Ah, and they're going to be tough. If they stay relatively healthy, they're gonna be very tough to defend. You're gonna have to be able to score. 35 points on them. I think they have a chance. A lot of weak Jason walking for a joining us once again. So Joseph Kabila, Brian, right, and he continues to run the ball up the middle of the second half, and they're down by 17 Ponting from midfield A couple of times on fourth down. We know he's made a number of strange roster moves, I guess what I'm asking you is The hell is this guy doing? I mean, does he have a plan that none of us know exactly. What is this guy doing? Well, I mean, look, he he has proven to have a strong relationship with with Cal McNair. The owner there who is still relatively young and in his tenure after you know his his father passed away, and you know, I think would be someone who would admit over the last 12 15 months that he doesn't have it all figured out yet. Sometimes Jim. Timing is everything. Uh, but that's a team that has, you know, shown it can do enough to get to the playoffs. But can they really get over the mountain top, and they're certainly plenty of questions that could be asked over the years about play, calling about the division of Labor. About how they've handled their locker room and star players and and who gets paid and who doesn't get paid and the lack of any separation of church and state between the personnel side in the coach side because it's all one dude pretty much Who can decide what happens. Um Ah, Look, the division is better. You know, I think Tennessee's pretty legit and I think the Colts won't be is injured his last year, and I think there'll be a better team. And I don't know the detection. They're going to play in January football. And what will the repercussions of that B? I don't know. To this point count. McNair has shown to be incredibly loyal to Bill O'Brien. But everything comes to an end in the NFL. Jason Locke and four already in mid season form, Jason, You mentioned the start of the evening and how it was different. I'm curious. What was your reaction to the fans? Going when the players linked arms before the game last night. Um Yeah, I think it's really unfortunate it Ah. It. It was it sat personally, You know, I thought saddened by it. I felt bewildered by it. Was I surprised? I don't know. You know, I don't know what Expectations you have, and I knew that they were doing something like that. But I wasn't sure of the exact timing it was going to be, you know, before or after the anthems and you have you know different things going on with the kick kick off game. Um, it turns out it was, you know, pretty much right before. The opening kickoff. And Yeah, I didn't really, I didnt understand honestly like why That sort of statement of affirmation and togetherness. And unity. Would provoke..

"Cool from this guy still learning how to play right? He really hasn't played football that long. When you get right down to it. He's starting his third year in the NFL. I mean, maybe not one, not two, not seven or or even though this guy is special and transcendent. Is there going to be a Super Bowl hangover? It seems unlikely. But it certainly has happened in the past. And if ever there was a year to be hung if ever there was a year to be a Super Bowl hangover. It's a year where there is a global pandemic right after the Super Bowl. I mean, I'd be pretty fair justification for coming out flat. The thing is, we just don't know the answers to any of these questions because we haven't seen Kansas City yet, And we haven't seen Houston. Not since the last time they were in Kansas City. Remember what happened that day? Remember when they had that 24 0 lead over Kansas City in the playoffs, and they blew it. Remember how they managed to turn a 24 point lead into a 20 point loss at some Miami Marlins level believe right there as New Texas D coordinator Anthony Weaver said about returning to Casey. Quote. When you play these guys first, you're forced to peel back some of these scabs. And relive those moments. Sure as hell are gonna be a lot of scab picking tonight and speaking of scab picking Speaking of opening up old wounds. Remember when Bill O'Brien chase that epic collapse with not being fired but actually adding a new title that of general manager And remember how he celebrated that new gig by trading, the best offensive weapon he had in the offseason. Remember when they traded DeAndre Hopkins and 1/4 rounder for David Johnson? My 2nd and 4th. I only bring that up again because I still can't believe that happened. And that trade was in mid March nearly a half year ago, and I still can't figure it out. Maybe the Texans have Maybe they haven't. Or maybe they never will. I don't know who knows, right? Maybe they show up tonight and they shocked the world by being better on offense without their best wide receiver. Or maybe there are a hell of a lot worse without their best wide receiver may be taking away to Sean Watson's best weapon was not a good idea. Maybe they remember they were on middle of the road passing team, even with Hopkins. Then again right about now, anything that you were to tell me is possible. "Really as a scout. Your primary focus is to to evaluate the player, but then be able to express what it is that you see. Some guys have an unbelievable ability to evaluate a play. They can't communicate the evaluation session makers, but for me as an English Major. That was easy to do and and so I did that. Starting in ninety seven. And I did that, too two thousand All two. Zero three. So you want soup. Guys won a super bowl in there to resume. We did yeah we did and it was cool. And you know Feel savage did an amazing job as skying director, and I worked very closely with bill We had a really good staff guys. George Kookiness Vince newsome. Terry mcdonagh you know we. We had a talented group scouts back then. In it filled an awesome job and and I learned so much from Phil I learned so much from odd. Scott left after the nineteen sixties and. To go work for the jets. Right! but Lonzo by cow was in scout that was influential, demeaning early days. Ron Marciniak. WHO's legend in the scouting business? Who passed away this past year? It was a mentor for me. As well Ernie plank was an old school scout who was invaluable to me, and then we had some office. Guy Tj McRae. Who's WHO's a really really good evaluator? An executive, a joy, tease, young guy. With me. Challenge Sanders WHO's working for the jets now Joe Douglas I was fortunate enough to train Joe D at an office guy when he started. He will. Remember in hardened. The Turkey. He was the Turk, so but yeah. Being a Scott was great. I did that through the nineteen two thousand two season, and then I became the college guiding director two thousand three. Year that we drafted. And how Bowler and Mussa Smith Jerry Johnson Tony Passos all those guys. I was my first year as a Scouting Director College Director Phil got promoted to the Director of player personnel and then Starting in two thousand five. Left at that point, become the GM the browns. And that was really when I start the truly run the scouting meetings in two thousand five. Which you know I've done pretty much since the thousand five run the draft. Probably, what would I most involved with day to day? Even now as a general managers is the draft process and the meetings and try to evaluate every single player in the draft that we're interested in my roles have changed i. mean I got some promotions and along the way you know? George left to become GM Cleveland and two thousand nine I became director of player personnel, and then assistant GM along the way I think two thousand eleven maybe in an GM last year. was there a player that you found as an area scout? That was the particularly proud of give. Some insight into how that happens. Is there one that you can think of or even? When were a college scouting director? Is there one that sort of sticks out is like? You know I mean a find. A. Guy That I was proud of was was Tony Weaver Anthony Weaver, that defensive tackle defensive end at Notre Dame. And You know he had a great makeup. And he really fit our defense now. What was interesting? About Tony he was he was two thousand two traffic. and. Mike and Mike Nolan was defensive coordinator at that time Mike was. One of the smartest defensive coaches and he knew the defense I mean he knew fourth. We knew free voicemail guys. He's an excellent, excellent excellent evaluator. And what I remember and Mike would stay now. I think he didn't like. Tony reba coming out and sometimes coaches and scouts. Butt heads about players. and he didn't think that Tony was that. Good of a play was going to be that big of a player. And and so I pick that year was a guy named Reid. was the twenty six I think he was twenty. Six might have been twenty four I, think whatever was he was the lowest rated player still available when we picked in the first round. And we took it. And then we took Tony Weaver and I think I don't think mike was fired up about. But I remember walking off the field minicamp with Mike. And he said Hey Those two guys. They're going to be sensational force. And I think about that. because. We had sort of like broken up the team like our defense in two thousand and was. Was Awesome Right. You let a Lotta players go. You know cap, casualties and stuff. Following the two thousand and one season. And so two thousand two was kind of lean year! And the two thousand three. We had very low expectations. But we both at defense back up again very quickly, and Tony was a big part of that defense, and he ended up being really good, and Mike was like man. You guys know that pick and it. Music agreements that good scheme fit for us, and you played really really really hard. He had a great career, and now he's coach and he's an awesome job as coach. He's just got a great makeup. Great personalities, physical tough player and I thought that was that was. Was that knowing the player then because I mentioned building relationships like? Area Scouts especially a lot of times. The job is like you're almost like half. Half your jobs almost like you're. You know what I mean like you need to know people on the ground, and you need to be able to kind of get a Gig Gig good and forget good reliable information out of these programs so I'm assuming that was part of it. What weaver. Yes. That's what really. Makes a great area Scout. I mean anybody can watch tape, and it's the catch. Abolish got run really fast or see a guy. Break a tackle whatever that might be you know.

"You know I think I'd like to give. I guess. These picks some of my favorites in the couple of them came from the same team and it was the Carolina Panthers. I just kind of loved. Would they would. They'd been building here starting with Derrick Brown last night but then building on that with you tour gross mottos or gross mottos depending on how you listen to the broadcast kind of funny but the Panthers get Utah. Gross Mottos there. The defense been from Penn State guy we talked about in the framework of a first round conversation at some point and then they backed that up by coming all the way back into the last. Pick the second round and getting a really fun player big physical safety slash kind of hybrid guy and Jeremy Chin from Southern Illinois. Who of course we saw at the senior bowl? I thought that was. Those are some of my favorite picks. I really liked. Let's see I like Denzel. Mims going to the jets. They needed a playmaker their New York Event Jefferson of the Rams. I think the rams sneakily at a at a really good draft after not having a first round pick with camakers a running back from Florida state and then also with Van Jefferson. A guy who I think. Dj comped Vanda. Cooper Cup right. I think he is for him. He has made a comparison he called. He called Van Jefferson. You remind him. A lot of cooper carbon so rousing. He's a route runner. I WANNA go back to your your panthers comment and Jeremy Chin last night people gave them a hortimed because they bypass Isaiah Simmons and they took Derrick Brown. And we've had this conversation on something be it path to the draft read. Unlv has conversation on the podcast where some people viewed Jeremy Chan as the poor man's version of Isaiah Simmons and so to be able to get your big inside guy to get your pass rusher and youtube gross models and then they come back and get a version a cousin a kindred spirit of Isaiah Simmons someone who has linebacker size but as a safety week quarterback skill. I mean I think that's a I mean. I think it's a remarkable way of putting it together Matt Rule. I know it's his first time in the league with man. He has really done a really good job of rebuilding defense. That's what's crazy buck. So he had one year with the giants. And I'll tell you a little story I went up to. I went up to go speak to him and his staff were me and a buddy of mine. Who is with the Tampa at the time? Director of analytics. We we took a trip up there and I thought we were going to tell them about stuff we were doing and I came away like wow. I'm not even at rules on. He's on a different level. I I was I was blown away. And he's a height weight speed trades. Guy He he had standards at Baylor physical standards the same way buck ear familiar in scouting. He all of that they were basically evaluating talent with an NFL. Type of mindset. And so I knew that when he got to the NFL I was incredibly impressed watching him at Baylor. What he's been able to do a baylor. His demeanor is really really impressive. And I know this is about the draft but it starts at the top and it starts with the with the power structure and right now for example. I think the Texans structure is no. It's not good. I'm very concerned as someone who lives here in sports radio here. I'm not concerned. I'm very concerned with that structure. Then you see the poise of Matt of Matt Rule and a guy who has a very and they both believe both organizations and height weight speed traits. All that stuff but rule. You see it with Jeremy. Chin you see it with gross mottos. Derrick Brown was just you know you just make that pig. There's there's no doubt about that. But he knows what he's doing and he knows what he wants. And I think they're going to really be successful provided they get the quarterback right at some point. A you know what you brought up. The Texans do want to get into that just real quick because I thought on the surface those picks kind of made sense to me for Houston with Ross blacklock and with Jonathan Greenburg in the third round obviously with limited resources after trading away the first round picks and a couple of seconds to kind of make everything work with the with the trades that bill. Brian has been making here. How did you feel like they ended up with this hall? I'm glad you asked me that because every day. It's like a new nightmare on the radio. Show every day is like oh my gosh. Oh my gosh but I mean it's it's been unbelievable. Brandin cooks for what he's got four concussions in two years oh minded. What did they get? But you know what I thought bill. O'brien did a great job with draft last year. Long Brian Gain and I like what he did here. I mean I'm I'm I'm fair. I am fair. If I don't like it I don't like it. I'm honest but I thought Ross. Ross Black Ross black pick. He's playing defense fence. Yeah so so. They're P- they play a lot more even fronts. They play a lot. They're they're in. They're in nickel about sixty percent of the time. Okay so yeah the three four defense like where? Where are they going to put them out? I couldn't figure out who's GONNA play. All right he'll be he'll play like an under spot. I mean he's they play a lot of even Franson Anthony Weavers taken over. So we'll see if things change with Anthony Weaver. I know that there are people around that organization. That are very very excited about him. Getting this opportunity but blacklock. They need some rush and he can. That's the one thing he can do now is he can get you some rush. He's very tough to deal with. Because he's got a crazy ridiculous lateral slide where he can go to gaps over. He can like he can go from this. He can go from one big APP all the way to your opposite a gap. I mean he's doing some basketball stuff like that and greener. I like Green. I think renewed solid. It's Kinda guy you get back into the third but from a standpoint bucky. I'm not I'm not as worried because they just gotta get some talent upfront. Because I'm not sure how long. Jj Watt is going to be playing. I mean he's not GonNa play forever and that cap numbers getting a little bit high for missing thirty two games the last four years and I'll just run through a couple of picks that that made sense to me the Patriots trading back into the bottom of the second going to get Josh from Michigan Elliott. A couple of Michigan men there with cheese one of its last year. And then I thought Zach Bon going at the saints at Seventy Four. After we talked about him in the bottom of the first potentially I know the diluted tests that probably had something to do with their but man that that felt like a good spot for the saints go up and get him also thought it was interesting. They came back into the bottom of the third to get tight. In Adam. Trautmann from Dayton A Guy I could've seen going ahead of Assisi or of Dalton keen who ended up going in front of Trautmann there come in and get and get trump and second last pick of the third round by the way. The saints have no picks remaining. They are done. They have nothing. Let's go let's go golfing. Let's go hang out with plans on Saturday guys. Outta here get out. Meanwhile the Minnesota Vikings have thirteen picks tomorrow so that was the team. They traded with to get that second to last. Pick the third anyway. Let's get back to some surprising picks because there are plenty of them here especially when grades differ as much as they can here especially on d. two in three bucky any of those picks that. Kinda had you scratching your head a little bit here whether it was fit or area in in range in which they were drafted. I'm going to do this and I'm GonNa do this. Dedicate this one to nobile our producer. Pleased Asia deal and go into the Green Bay packers. I think on the surface. It's a bit of a surprise because in Green Bay. We typically don't see these kinds of running backs show up and play for the packers. I mean I'm I'm going back to my playing days. Like when Dorsey Levens Bennett and those we still didn't have like a banger like Aj Dylan so stylistically Aj. Dillon doesn't strike Most of us as packer running back. But then when you look at his game and you see that he's a one cup runner he's a guy that gets downhill. You see the physicality toughness and then you think about the combine numbers and explosiveness and those things and then you try to match them up with the scheme that the packers want to run which is zone base game. They want to kind of put them inside outside zone. And do those things You can begin to understand it. I think where it gets skewed is is Matt. Leflore ever going to be able to run the scheme that he wants with Aaron Rodgers to quarterback and I don't know what does it matter did your love. Oh I mean I I've already said like Roger's own notice like air. Rogers is about to get Alex Smith. He's about to get. He's about to get Alex Smith where they're gonNA move him out that it just like. What does the city did they have that mahomes? He served an apprentice. He started game seventeen and then before you knew it in the off season he was out so I mean read. Yeah you look back in the first round to let them sit there for four years he year two and they were onto the next. He's thirty six. Yeah I don't have any problem with drafting regular future here. I really don't I as the player. Oh you know what he is. His completion percentage has gone down in each of the last years. He's been injured in two of the past years. He had a broken collarbone. Denia DMC. Oh He's thirty six and for all of the things that the packers offense was able to go into the championship game. They kind of want in spite of their office as opposed to because of their offense. And I know we. Kinda give like the romanticized pass to the quarterback and he needs more weapons but at some point his play also hasn't been what it is. I'm not saying he's horrible. They need to get rid of him. But I'm saying he's not what he was going to change their style to make sure they went plus Matt Leflore. I mean let's face it. He came over from Tennessee. He sees what works for them. And now you've got two hundred and fifty pounds running back now. He doesn't run like a battering ram like Like Derrick Henry does. That's not really aged if people think that's what they're they're getting when they first start that's not really what he is or who is necessarily he is a freaky athletic guy. His lean muscle numbers are like two twenty like the numbers like center would have. That's it he's just ripped he shredded. It's unbelievable but I I think at some point. What Matt Leflore in that in that organizations basically doing is saying. We're GONNA start building the offense we're going to run. We'RE NOT GONNA we're not. This is not the Aaron Rodgers show anymore. We're running the organization away. We need to to get it ready to win in the future. Whether or not you agree with it is another thing but I respect it and by the way how do you how could you disrespect shutouts? Eddie lacy they had a Banger. Now he'd like to be a little early Derby X. C. So he likes. I like Pie Bucky. There's only told you that this great rookie season would the groundskeepers did is they? Put honey buns every fifteen Every fifteen months there were strategically placed throughout the field. And he would go. And that's why you get yours in this after that. They didn't put out there and before when he was out of the League. That's what snacks we put it back out. There guys pulled back out breaking new bills heart with every word that you're dropping by the way. Shout out to our our intrepid producer. Who is editing?.
