"Yeah but they're coming. They're coming down on the bench. Chose is one of those those. I don't know. I don't know who are big inspiration was but i felt like she was kind of that. Those those new ronda rousey move missile all the fight when she was like nine or twelve or something i know she went to the gym and she is just one of those women. I think hanson's one of those two things. He's better than kate hansen. But just one of those there were just. This is what they wanted to do ever since they were like a young teenager twenty two. She looked amazing tonight. Yeah just blown away. I knew how good rookie and was. And that was the show showcased vice. Oh that was awesome but exciting for an blanchfield. And yeah can't wait. She's she's actually. She's what what was trying to say. Who macy barbara was. I think his arab lands. Macy bar was kind of just wanna build up like this. You know she's going to be the john jones. John jones of flyweight division. But i think she's more on that route than than ufc typing. No isn't giving her that. Same kind of hype. And i think she deserves it rather than maybe we'll say there's a few twenty five right now. That are making bannon fiero. She's a little bit older. But casey o.'neil twenty-three about stern twenty four and i get aaron blanchfield so the future's bright one twenty five cal pennington for mine not just because oh that whole fight flew under the radar but then just hearing the stories of her getting covert and being on a freaking respirator. Things i had no idea that she was battling and then to come back in you know. Have that grimy performance against Pans out who has been on a nice run that that was was an impressive performance and then hearing sort of the back story of how she got to that fight and i was flying under the radar anyways but sieber cal go in there and perform the way that she did super impressed with her so she would be my six player award winner. So there you go we got some Some compelling questions. We'll take a few meaning we try to so. I will just point out. One comment. That i saw from mr ed k. Who said aka you make pigs stab bat again. And you're being relegated one letter. Don't wanna let her out. Acknowledge this person i. I'm kidding i love. i love all the commentators. I love all the commenters you can. You can today or at a k. But that's what's at stake now. How how likely is rutan's next. Fight against the winner of dan hooker versus nasrat hack passed or will he face another unranked opponent. Now ak you. And i are going to have this discussion onto the next one tomorrow and i have for this and i'm going to save that for then but sean what do you think. Do you think sarokin will get the winner by by the way. We don't even know if dan hookers gonna make it's that bite at this point at that gives visa issues a very public right now. Hopefully monday fingers crossed can get vegas by thursday s. We have rough fight week for that man. But would you throw sarokin the winner of hooker and hack or would you. Would you go a different direction after that performance tonight. If it's up to me. I liked that i liked that fight. I think actually arm and that was one thing. I even forgot to mention when i was talking about arms. He sort of did the legwork early right like he sort of planted those seeds coming into this fight so he already had it set up to where dan's like legitimately kind of upset at him and like actually wants to fight him which that's the biggest hurdle of all when you get to these really deep divisions is convincing ranked guy to give you the shot when you're when you're not there when you're sort of on that periphery of the division. So i would love that. I think dan hooker has has had a really crazy slate of top contender. Fights really tough tough fights against the best guys in the division and he is due for the very similar. Like anthony smith esq. Hey come back to the back of the line. Work your way back up by a couple of these up and comers and then we'll give you another top five guy like to me if he beats nazaret even if he loses like i would absolutely love to to see that fight feels like a proper escalation for armand to me while not really messing with dan's trajectories. Well actually like the casey I i hope it's a hooker fight. I hope This is all the assumption hooker gets in gets in the country fine and makes wait fine or whatever that's another thing but Yeah Hopes in bites. I had of him. that's all. yeah. I think we're i think we're done with the building him up. I think this this is a big highlight. they needed. You know they gotta yeah. It's the last little push before. He's he's gone. He's running at this point to finish got it and iago's was had three five winning streak heading into the fight to so this again. This next cashman. This next question might seem kind of crazy. But i don't know is jake paul versus yoel. Romero apostle match should now be considering both showtime. Just ak your. Yeah you hells. Yeah you put you put that on the poster and it sells itself. Oh my god you put it on his that forty four year old honest glistening. That's the that's it sold. Imagine facing off going. Oh god promos. Go give me like a table. Read where. It's ariel in the middle in jake paul and eulogised grunting and saying one word answers the entire time earn him dead and the is like i'm so in on that that'll get five million views tomorrow down respect to jake. Paul jake take that fight that you might see my only issue with the question is it shouldn't be considering the matchup that we should now be hoping for because then resounding yes this is this is what is should be next or no. I mean look. There's a lot of good matchups for for jake paul. His team has him and his team have done a really good job of picking their opponents of far. I do think romero might be a little bit of a bridge too far. But i also don't i honestly i don't i wouldn't romera would kill him. This is where we are with no experience. Now jason fight right. He could versus that cuban boxing who knows i just i i just thought question was like oh let me think about this house. It up there in the universe. Let's let's be responsible for this. This possible opponent. That could put the fear of god into j just in the pre man like all of us have been. I would imagine that media days with yoel romero. Then dude is the most intimidating human being to speak to ever. It's just crazy. We talked to professional cage fighters for a living. And i think. I've never been as scared as i just talked to you over barrel such an intimidating dude. I'm like i'm thank god. This is a scrum. 'cause i i don't know if i can handle one on one i'll talk to one hundred without feeling me. Want to see the enersen fight. I wanna see the anderson. Jake paul fight. That's the pure semi. But sean you sold me area on the middle those to the table top right right and you all just staring a hole through the crazy is the whole time lucky be he knocks out your well and then maybe you know worrying but i'll has to join in you know. Oh well my fellow cuban. Yeah my fellow human omega on the. He can't do the fight but he can be the ballet. You know he can be right there. You know i mean we can just go full circus and do mas- vidal romero tag team. They switched every round. First round around. Romero we're getting them both leader logan. Yeah and the books yes. We should absolutely be considering that fight. Be more comments hybrid impact. Eighty davis is boring. You don't know him. A mixed for a reason. As case like i say it is the mixing of the martial arts philby mixes those martial arts and does it very effectively so yes. Hybrid impact eighty three. I'm what i don't like to go as far as say if you don't appreciate a or you don't know emma may i always feel. It's a little strong. But i would say you're you're maybe have may have somewhat myopic view of at least as far as what you find entertaining and again we all love ramsbotham stuff..

"Then somebody in organizing uk off and anthony smith at the same time with just starting to this is before light heavy with lightweight moves so it was kind of just started still get his footing in his second. Run the of c. But i remember interviewing him thinking like this guy like get some winds and strings and wins together. He really could be a star and i mean the around. We have some bias when we interview anybody. We kinda like you know. There's a bit of a rooting for them. But there was something special about him. And and i was really surprised at like The guy who was such a veteran. And i'm like he should be. This is the guy he should journeyman. But there was a spark there and And i'm like man if he actually gets them west together and gets a run going. This is a guy who's going to be a name. And i never thought he'd compete for a title. That was completely surprising. But there's i think anyone who has injuried feels the same way that it's like. Wow there's he's different like this. This guy is different and and one of those special special athletes never made a hands. It just remember. Anthony is only one person here who picked ryan span in that alexander. Kaley all right. Let's who's who remembers these things. Remember when i was you bring that up. I was the big fights. I picked romero i scan and antic devin clark you watch. This is the man. I'm the only one who is like on record publicly with people all the time and they only remember when you're wrong guy. Remember your credit when you're right and as you just gotta show every what's happening right now ak is like okay. I know the nfl ugly cry ugly cry right so real quick. We'll take a couple of questions but goodwin for smith yakuts alaba goodwin. Lipsky needed that one really badly armand rookie on good lord where performance my goodness. No case fight love. It lived up. Lived up to that to be. He needed a finnish. He needed a performance like that. He got it. Nate maintenace with an incredible comeback win and then walking buckley with another incredible comeback winning. Because i thought he was losing entire fight until he got the knockout. So sean let's begin with you because this is one of those cards where it was very top heavy. There are a lot of competitive fights there couple of names that were very interested in if you had to choose like a sixth player award like your mba fan a six player award for this car like the under the radar star of vegas thirty seven. Who would you pick and why under the radar. That's a good question. I mean ultimately you might be one guy. You just mentioned. Which is our sarokin. I think i'm probably butchering the last name right. But my god man like that dude is gonna be a problem in this. Ucla division for years to come like. I am absolutely full on believer. At this point we even saw with his debut against islam market. Jeff where he kind of gave islam surprisingly competitive fight. And it's like. I should have been the first sign to a lot of people like what this guy could actually be but he is just looked like a monster sense and really the whole problem so far with with his you'll see careers he just hasn't been finishing people right and then come in today. In what was kind of a showcase fight like you mentioned the odds. I love it when the does is they. Don't do it nearly enough in my mind. Let these kind of prospects get these kind of showcase fights because that's what we get when you do that when you make that book and you get him looking outrageously good knocking this guy out and two in less than two and a half minutes and now who isn't excited does the rookie and really work. His way. up the ranks right like he is absolutely my star. This car in terms of underrated fighters coming in. And i cannot wait to see where he is where he sort of lands next in the lightweight division because this division stacked. It's always one of the most talent rich divisions in the entire sport. But right now when you got hunger young killers like him coming up. I love it absolutely love it. Yeah him into poor air. Two guys who could who could fight for titles to poison won't obviously at featherweight. But those are two guys who you gotta keep an eye on. So ak who is yours. Who is your six player award for thirty seven. I i don't know i. I mean i will definitely say she was flying into the because it feels like her fight. Now was actually. I was just say feels like her fight. Pie wasn't what six or seven hours ago. Now aaron blanchfield aaron blanchfield one of the one of the biggest betting favorite though so it's not like people don't know about her but she's what twenty two years old. She's amazingly accomplished already. She wants vice in invicta. She won a very she started. She lost a very close fight to tracy cortege local. You should have one so. She should be undefeated. She almost could've won an invicta title. She had a fight for vacant title against program zola's enforcing pro got Cove in nineteen so that why which just cancelled and then air blanchfield got the call up anyway so she just never got that. Chance to fight for an invicta title feel like two would have been favored in the program satisfied and Have had a good chance to win. But an amazing grapplers. She's a black belt at age. Twenty two she got a star. Making performance at one of those b is one of those eddie bravo invitationals. I got everybody talking about her. And then huge head kick in victoria leonardo. She's hit like all these you know we always talk about. When if someone's coming up as stars you gotta hit all these checkmark. So it's like okay. She had this big groping tournament. She won it can get a highlight finish. You gotta highlight finish invicta for major promotion. And then okay. What about her. Ufc debut scholars this hype behind her complete domination. She didn't get to finish but again. I think sarah alpar tougher than people are gonna are gonna realize her own to record. Says she's got herself some really tough fights for. Uc fights and also blanchfield is the real deal. I mean this is someone who will be a world title contender. I'll be shocked if she doesn't compete for usa title Sometime in the next two years. Hopefully they can. They can do a slow burn. And we're not even talking about until two twenty twenty three but air blanchfield lived up to the hype. Big time so anyone who May not have caught. The i i you fights of the of the early prelims i would definitely recommend. Please go check out the blanchard alpar fight. If you wanna see someone who's really young and really lived up to the hype Great performance dude. She threw like three hundred. strikes landed. Like one hundred of them with over she got up and leisurely walk to the to the physician was like i'm cool rats. Her nickname is cold blooded. And she's like so level all the time like an interviews again post fight interviews she rarely. It's almost scary. It's a it's a little scary. It's almost like the guy in that. That was that free solo. I think she might have that same. Honestly she might have that same condition he has because she just never rarely shows that kind of extreme emotion. It's it's really scary. Took yours casey. But do you get a was i. I can't i can even add more to dance. Yeah she's just i. I'm excited that she's a. She's a flyweight. Are we the problem. Kinko's ahead of everyone else. Right now flyweight. I think people kinda fans media to i think the ufc general kind of crap on the flyweight division ship. Jingle never gets a main event for pay per view because there's no no compelling challenger banks. Yeah but they're coming. They're coming down on the bench. Chose is one of those those. I don't know. I don't know who are big inspiration was.

I was going to canada. I was asleep in the wagon at the time. Nearly fell out the door when staff sergeant told me i thought i'd get charged for jumping up and down but he laughed as kind of lunged forward and said driver phelps. Pack your kid. You're going to canada for three months but parents were thrilled. Of course most of the other fellas were off fighting in the gulf was serving in the royal corps of transport our job in alberta was to support the tank so an exercise and drain. The town of medicine had a ball alcohol. We soon got used to cross country driving down the slippery rattlesnake road at the british army training unit. Suffield or batteries for short. I never got used to the subzero temperatures. Though it was bitterly cold on the prairie. Wrap up at night. I went out to support. Infantry troops on patrol started with a kick as i was awakened from a deep sleep. Your watchman swore under my breath was to an. I had to get out of my sleeping bag to sit in a trench for two hours. I took a deep breath counts attend and face. The biting winds. The matter ahead of me was pleased to be relieved of his duty. Begrudgingly took his place as he muttered. Thanks connect grunted. Rifle was freezing cold to wake up as i leaned against a pair of keeping an eye open. Fan and patrols lit a cigarette and cupped so the cherry wasn't visible to anyone who might have been doing reconnaissance. I really couldn't be asked around at this time of night. There was a cluster retreat. Some right and flat open ground everywhere else. I felt so pissed off and tired cloudy overnight. Visit started to improve as a stub my cigarette out. Then i noticed lights in the trees straightened up. They swam around like with the wisps. And i was mesmerized by then i looked at my watch to two hours of guard who'd he had flown by. That was relieved at four. Am i didn't think the pleasant distraction in the trees for long. I shivered in my sleeping bag. A suit warmed up and sleep. Took over was later shaken again. The usual rude awakening accounted. Tim unzipped my bed to face. The cold morning had a quick wash that nearly froze my nuts off a shaved and little oatmeal out a mess. The day was spent cross country driving and servicing. The tank targets fed the gophers some cookies and the night came. I was called upon to join a reconnaissance patrol the reports of enemies in the woods. We set out to see how many there were. And what sort of kit they had. We might have needed to call in the artillery or an airstrike. If they had field guns job was to stay out of trouble and not be seen. We just had to report our observations me and five. Other guys at set out on patrol. But only i came back. I still see the fucking and trails. There was no light as we enter the forest ghost walk through the trees and there were branches underfoot and it was prime tripwire territory disguise. Cloudy again we took our time so it was not to alert anyone. The roosting birds and the trees were calling to each other and found this unusually creepy. We were cautious than a heard a muffled scream and i tried to the ground. There was confusion waited someone snaps detail in charlie. For fuck sake. I thought we have to find the last man at our patrol but we didn't we regrouped. There were arguments ended. The guys were lashing out. Let's go back. No no we have to carry on and then somebody else said. Oh for fucks sake. We decided to abort the recon and return to base the missing man would be at our last rendezvous thought. But he wasn't there. The tree started to close in on us. We quickened our pace as what little humor we had left turn to fear. This wasn't some crazy joke. After all there was something wrong here and i thought that was saddles in the trees. We hurried the shuttle's real. And then i suddenly felt alone and i was cut off from patrol. I'm not gonna lie. I was absolutely shitting myself. What the hell were those lights last night. As i thought about they had been the had been strangely calming but now the forest was a living. Hell i was lost and disoriented a stop to find my bearings and then i saw the best efforts. They must have been nearly ten feet tall and they were bigfoot deep sasquatch of any kind but they walked like men never forget. Those.

"Thanks for tuning in and again today I am joined With my good friend colleague and Mentor. Dr Anthony Smith. Thank you so much much for sitting down with me today. Thanks Jason. It's good to be back together talking about stuff. The dynamic cannabis science duo and how L. so for those that Aren't familiar with. You are in your work. Do you mind just really briefly just kind of describing Some of your science background and how you got into Doing some of the canvas science work that you're doing now sure Right now Working on analytical chemistry both for safety and quality control and product development and also in industrial manufacturing in the cannabis and hemp space. My background Let's see I always have had a passion for human health and Physiology and Got Balaji degree Back in the ninety s and thought maybe I might WANNA do pre-med. Yeah but just that was just not for me So I went to Grad School at Oregon State University and became against super passionate about Biochemistry specifically worked on The molecular and biochemical aspects of aging in cardiovascular system mm-hmm and also Mostly because my work was at the Linus Pauling Institute of part of our mission always is is to look at Nutritional supplements and vitamins As they relate to biochemistry aging cancer etcetera tre so that fit in well with my interest in health So on top of all that academically. I'm pretty passionate about Herbal Medicine I would say nutritional chemistry especially as as it relates to human health and performance I've worked After Grad School as a consultant with quite quite a few different nutraceutical manufacturers Both doing Chemistry and quality control in as it relates the product development went but also published research Doing basic pharmacokinetics for like over the counter dietary supplements. And can you explain to people. What pharmacokinetics is? Yeah I mean it's a it's a big big thing in in drug development and drug validation but on the dietary supplement side. There's a fair bit of this kind of work. It's looking at The level of either compound or its metabolites As it passes through your body and complete pharmacokinetics and pharmacokinetic dynamics You know is a physical tracing of the entire mass of a dose of something that you eat and you would would account for you know every milligram that you take what your body does with it and where it comes out essentially yeah basic pharmacokinetics For or a dietary supplement would be Maybe you take Oregon grape supplements and then in every hour or two Depending on how we presume what happens to that to Bourbon and your body maybe would collect blood every hour or two for the course of the day or maybe even two days and look at the level of in the in the case of Oregon Grape Bergreen in your bloodstream and how it goes up and back down over time and depending on Partly your genetic tone but also the chemistry of you. You know whatever compound we're talking about the the the peak area or the peak amount of that compound in in your bloodstream It might happen very fast and then go away slowly or it might build very slowly and then peak later just completely depends nice. Well I know there's a lot of pharmacokinetic former CO dynamic work. That's trying to be done now on tabloids try to understand kind of how they move through the body because one thing that a lot of people are unaware of is that can happen. Always aren't very bioavailable billable and the body primarily because they're kind of fatty and That causes a number of issues with the body. They tend to get bound found in the blood really quickly and like basically glucose adhere to to some of those compounds. Make these These conjugate compounds than just kind of get excreted I think sometimes because especially THC rich cannabis because it elicits Euphoric effector intoxicating effect. that's presumed that it's very active in the body very By available but research is kind of showing that it's not really the case. He absolutely in Net stems. I think from You know like the binding kinetics if you will of TC and its metabolites to Cassivi wine receptors. Is that Very tiny tiny amounts that. Make it Through the blood brain barrier are plenty enough left in the classic T. C. for you I mean I think an an denied is the typical endogenous. CANNABINOID venoy that would stimulate that. Receptor in a handful of molecules in. Your brain is more than enough to get that. Yeah Yeah Yeah exactly. Yeah it's really fascinating. How little it actually takes To elicit some pretty profound changes to consciousness and everything so so these days. You're doing a lot of cannabis testing. And that's that's how you and I uh kind of originally came together helping build up labs and get methods developed and validated. Didn't everything One thing I want to make sure we spend some time on talking about is a question. That's on a lot of people's minds that are in the canvas industry three is how does a lab know that their results are accurate Because it's pretty well known at this point that depending on what lobby go to you can get very different results especially with potency. And that's kind of its own issue but even things like pesticides and things that really affect public health and safety safety So can you talk a little bit. About what labs due to prove to themselves that their own results are accurate and then stemming from that what consumers can do you to kind of Evaluate lab so they can trust the results. They're getting sure absolutely A subject near and dear to my my heart I guess I'll maybe answer that a little bit in reverse as you know as a as a consumer of what labs I have to offer you know as a if you're a cannabis or hemp farmer manufacturer One thing I always encourage encourage people to pay attention to. If you're shopping for labs or meeting labs is you know. You really should be looking for allowed that you can have as a business business to business relationship with and that would begin. I you know when you tour lab or even talk to their your principles You know on the telephone like there's no black arts in the laboratory You know and so there's no oh like secret curtain there's there's honestly nothing super super proprietary right or I mean there's a lot of high tech stuff stuff And what we do is tedious and difficult. That's why everyone doesn't do it. It's not because it's magic or proprietary criterion. So you know you should get that feeling when you go to a lab like these are our instruments These are trained staff. Here are some of our records and You know we make data in a process and just like if you have a factory full of robots and machines and humans in order to get that factory output right There has to be a lot out of traceability and a lot of control a lot of communication and these are the same sort of things I mean I it. I don't say data a factory because we don't actually manufacturing data but the the word for it in the lab spaces that we date a realization so data realization allegation is not Squirting stuff in the machines and then issuing PDF's the people. It's IT'S A it's a it's a tedious process that has tons of built-in traceability An controls and checks and when you go to a laboratory Tori quality should be visible the lab should be clean should be organized The people should be wearing what you would consider typical laboratory lab coats gloves protection. Things like that. So you know that they're serious serious about their profession There should be training manuals Posted There should be logs logbooks next to things like scales instruments right Those are some of the early signs that that there may be as quality. What's happening in the lab beyond that? You know what we're doing in the lab In the back if you will you know I've mentioned Traceability traceability is a very very important part of quality assurance in manufacturing but especially over here in doing lab work to and what we mean by traceability is that you know businesses and regulators do stuff with our data you you know. Our data validates that materials are okay for commerce or public consumption and so that data when it goes out into the world world as a as a Eyeso- and or lap accredited laboratory we need to make sure that all of the reagents chemicals that were in the laboratory that went into making that data happen That you know that validated and we know where we got them appear on that they're pure similarly with humans that touch samples and computers and instruments. You know we have to have traceable traceable records that the people that participated in data realization. are trained to the latest procedures. That that we've done on what we call demonstrations of capability. They're sort of like banks checks of their decision Similarly that there's records. That instruments are calibrated. And that you know any certificate of analysis that we put out there. If any of that information mation is ever in question We can do a quick audit and tell you every person who was a part of the data realization process every batch of chemicals goals and standards every instrument and what it status was Traceability goes the other direction too so so I just described how we understand everything that goes into our certificates analysts but Imagine a case where one of our vendors calls us Someday and Oh we had an accident in the lab and we shipped you this chemical or that solvent and It was the wrong stuff or it was the wrong purity. Yeah so we have to now go in look forward into any data data that we've realized with that material right so it it it's traceability in both directions And and that's pretty much the foundation of how you manage qualities is one understanding everything that goes into your process and English. Another part of in quality What you should be looking for is allowed should be doing what's called proficiency tests there's array of love of formal and informal ways to do that? We do both Our laboratories participate in third party external proficiency tests so these Caesar Chemistry and biology companies that provide benchmarked standardized material that they will ship to a lab job and you are blinded to the quantitative amount of analysts that are in it But but but you know this is a cannabinoid proficiency test or this is a you know what to test the side proficiency test. Yeah and so in the pesticide proficiency test will receive like Ground Hemp or sometimes it's made in the state So sometimes it's grown cannabis and then we get a vial of liquid which contains an unknown. I'm known amount and quantity of pesticides which were required to spike.

"And I like the fact that there's a lot of fresh faces Anthony Smith. All of a sudden is, is right back in the mix. What a guy Anthony Smith. I'm so blown away by him by his demeanor buys candor by his by his just his overall package guy was fourteen losses was kind of a middle of the road fighter now being able to put it together, the way he has really impressive. I've really enjoyed getting to know him over the years, and I will admit I'm a little late to the party here on this one, but men and very cool, as you see they're seeing other fighters, give him props afterwards. Because the Lionheart somewhat of a cliche, nickname, it's legit when it comes to Anthony Smith and he's just so humble, and he's just so down to earth. It's, it's amazing to watch him. So that was Saturday. In Stockholm some other things that happened this weekend. As we wrap up an interesting day on the program, we talked about Andy Ruis, Anthony Joshua, and I wouldn't cry again, I wouldn't cry for those promoters, a lot of people. I saw my, my buddy Steven A getting all mad. I get it. You'll want it to see Joshua wilder. I get it. But I mean, like honestly first of all Joshua comes back wins that fight. When's the rematch, the luster has been taken off, but it's not the worst thing is really not the worst thing. It's not the worst thing in the world that you get this extra fight out of them. Don't cry for these guys. And I don't feel bad for you. I don't. You guys screwed it up. Why should we feel about why should we be upset? Now, we've got this guy, Andrew is the every man, it's a beautiful thing. So I'm not going to be upset about it. I don't understand why everyone's upset. Heavyweight division. The world is talking about the heavyweight division, anyone who's telling you that boxing is dead. A totally wrong be the heavyweight division. Usually leads the way right? The heavyweight division like the state of boxing is usually judged based on the state of the heavyweight division. What guess what division has been this interesting in what eighteen years nineteen years, fifteen years, sixteen years release now Joshua Tyson fury, fighting, and just what the less than two weeks? It's a good time. So I thought that was great..

Just like some people don't like the truth treating out. He's not that good. And I just I see people moving up and getting spots getting slots in tile. I was always trying to get a fight and came to be. But that's what it was. Do. You feel like two five is a lot more shallow than one eighty five. "Win more route Anthony Smith only needs two point five seconds of this fighting mentally and physically I used to trade with them. I come with a little bit of bias. But I believe from what I've seen in his career. He can do it. I think he only needs those five seconds. I think he stops. John, john. This is an absolutely shocking prediction. I don't think there's another human outside of Anthony team that is picking him to win this fight. And I gotta tell you. I don't feel like it's I mean, look guys are going to go in there. They got fairly limited roles. I do think that John is better. I just he's longer. I think he moved a little bit more. But I think the grit is going to come into and why don't really question John Hart. I certainly can complement. Anthony, I believe he'll be in the buyer logged enough to land that shot. Kevin do what you will. With that information. That is a shocking prediction, we'll find out Saturday night at this man is correct. We will indeed later on tonight EOC to thirty-five card. "Him back on since I have such respect for Tony Ferguson. I wanna see him on the show. And I need your help to convince him to come on. So please tweet him or Instagram him be respectful be kind. But encourage him to do it. Now to answer the question about what the guy was saying, look, man, I am all in on a Tony Ferguson max Holloway fighting hit on it. It's impossible to dislike dude, you cannot do that to dust Emporia. You cannot cannot do that. It is so unfair to do that. I of course, would love to see Tony Ferguson fight. Max. Are you kidding me? The dreams come true. But at some level, you gotta you gotta pay people what they are owed. And dude, Dustin Poirier has been out there thug in it in that one hundred and fifty five pound division. He is either an interim opportunity number one contender opportunity something something clear definable. And it needs to be now if what you're doing is an interim title, I think Ferguson versus Dustin Poirier is the way to go those two those two are the most disturbing contenders. At the moment if hollow wants to come up to one fifty five I'd love to see him. Get a fight before he actually gets a title shot. So dude Nate Diaz Conor McGregor. Heck, even the Anthony Pettus remeasure one fifty five Cowboys running you name it Holloway versus anybody's a fun fight. So yes, he doesn't really have to worry about that. But I think I do think it's a little extra to put them up in an interim title fight against Ferguson when you got so many deserving guys, especially dust Emporia out there agree with you on that, by the way, Volkov sqi means an opportunity at somebody big and other guys they've featherweight, dude. There are. Yeah. He's he's got contenders normal for just a little bit longer to a little bit longer. All right, man. I have time anymore because I have to go do my other job. And he's going to be fighting for the light heavyweight title Lionheart makes his return to the show Anthony Smith. Hi, anthony. How are you? I'm good Luca Rio. Anthony, how is it that you're fighter who trains every day? I'm a lowly media loser. And I looked like death, and you look fresh as a daisy look at you ready to go. Yeah. Fresh off a plane back here in Denver in can finish up this last this last hardwood, jam okay. So you went home for the weekend. What what do you mean? I go home every weekend. Do you really? Why do you fly you drive? I do you get there. Yeah. I fly. I fly leave Friday night after sparring. And then I'm back back Monday. And so trying to do the dad and the husband thing or something, right? Yeah. Yeah. I love it out here in Denver. But I I don't think that I'd be able to stay out here for all eight or nine weeks or whatever it is thou without seeing my family. I'm kind of assist you when it comes to that. So I do I travel back and forth every weekend. What is the trade off there on the one hand? Positives are obvious, right? You get to be with your family. You get to see your kids. So that's a no brainer. How much how much of a tax on.

If would lose the belt false, Anthony Smith versus John Jones is a war probably false. Greg hardy gets a title shot in two thousand nine hundred also false next. Are we ever going to see Jimmy Smith on the beat? Yeah. I don't have a budget to fly guests out. But to the extent he is ever in New York City. He has an open invitation. So sure I would love to see him. But we don't like we can't fly dogs across the country. We you know, they have to be here. And if he's here. Super smart guy left to have next. What's Luke's problem with bird box? I will unblock you. What's the problem with bird box? Well, it's a shit movie designed for rubes the construction is it takes away all the tension. Sandra? "He fights John Jones at UC to thirty five on March second here in Las Vegas. Thirty one wins in his professional career twenty eight finishes fellows, that's an incredible run. And how about this to win streaks of three in his last fight? He's won six of his last seven and he's fourteen into in his last sixteen. That's because he had an eight fight win streak. So he's been killing it an incredible year in two thousand eighteen after that Santeals Las moves up the light heavyweight and goes three, and oh, and that's how he got this shot. All right goes, what do you ever Anthony Smith, and we've interviewed a lot of people who were getting ready to fight John Jones, but they all had different motivations. Some of them said I'm doing this for the money. Other set I'm doing it. Because I want that belt and a few of even said, I just wanna knock that smile office faith, which one are you? Title. I want to try to whether it's you know, when I started this Ron John Jones wasn't JP. So, you know, being the first person to to be able to hand John Jones is is is I legitimate loss is is huge motivator. And that's definitely something. That's gonna summit my legacy, obviously, financially and career wise. It's going to propel me that's going to submit my legacy. People are always gonna talk about that. But at the end of the day, this whole journeyman has been about being the world champion, it it. That's all it's been about. It's been about for that one moment in time. You know, who knows how long it lasts those long. Keep it. But my goal is is to get it. And and how that Bill wrapped around my waist by Dana white, and and to here in new, and that's what my motivations. It's not personal John. It's not this. This is strictly. This is strictly my dream. This is what I've been pushing for since I was seventeen. I've heard you talk about how you think you can be John Jones and all the stuff you said made so much sense to me. I thought it was brilliant. Some of the things you were saying, but I guess my question for you is it seemed like it was coming from a guy who's already thought about the game plan of fighting this guy like in other words when you got the announcement. You're fighting John Jones. I don't think you sat down said. All right, guys. Let's come up with I feel like you already had the game plan right in that assessment is something that you've been thinking about for a long time. This particular match up your. When Michael bisbee was getting ready to fight league rock hold or not. We was getting ready. Find air Silva, Michael business always wanted to fight here. So because he just felt like he had that that certain style that he felt matched up really well with Anderson Silva, and Michael talked about that a lot about how we thought that. He he could be the one to do it, regardless of how he did all these other fights, whatever losses this guy air, some beat back whatever he felt like he had the right style. And he was the right person to do it..

"Anthony Smith in between them we have some pockets where we take commercials or we cover the latest news. Are we more importantly, we take calls from you all so call in and talk about maybe you don't maybe forgot to get into the daily debate. You just want to chime in on that. Maybe you want to chime in on the latest news or still offer an opinion on the Covington who's mon- Woodley triangle there or what should what should DC do? Now that Jones kinda just went ahead and did his own thing. You know, we kept thinking his DC gonna get less than you know. Less there, by the way, has still paid two hundred fifty thousand to the Nevada State Athletic commission and around this time is win. He completes the one year sentence of the infraction. He had at UC two hundred against Marquette. He had a a one year suspension. It got put on hold. But when DC said me and Leser and all that activated itself. Again, Lessner had to basically make himself available to you Sada to show that he's cleaned. So that he can compete in that aside from that you have to pay two hundred and fifty thousand and then he can go forward with that. And if not then I guess would be the the next guy because deceit has said, so and I don't know that anybody else's more qualified, do you think he has to pay two hundred and fifty thousand or do you think he says I really liked the come back? But there's this little fine hanging out there just says we got that player. Yes. Yes. They do. So they go just go out there and pay the damn thing. And guess what have the fight? They'll be some bonus in there for you. Or you'll make it back. I mean, you know, you will make it back. I mean, really, maybe you can just say, or we just don't have you, you know. But I would think that the wants to they want to conduct a business transaction. So I don't know if they can say, we got you where the, wink, wink. But I think they'll say look man, you know, we sort this out the financial and the financial come in from a big fight that involves you guess what that two hundred and fifty will be covered. I I would think that that's how it would work. It's good to be Daniel Cormet right us just chill. And there's basically three giant fight out there waiting for you. Whatever happens happens right there. Either way you're gonna make a ton of money. Well, the listener fight is a windfall because there is a guaranteed mill paper. He's if Jones would happen that would probably go over Jones. We're getting close to a million the I know the eight hundred at that one in Anaheim would be the first one did. But I would imagine the third one would be a million steep. Not as big as those. Right. Not as big with still good. But I think Lessner is the one and. And sorry to disrespect Brock Leser here. But I think that's the easiest one as well out of meal Jones and Leser agree with Nagy that. vegas. That's fair. Although hopefully, the guy. Hi, clear me over over these walls, right here all of thunderlips. The. He could. Yeah. All right, guys. Let's do this. Let's take a break. And we will reset the table here..

And you can even hear moral in the background go man quit pulling her legs. And I think they went awhile before they actually realized that it had actually happened. Oh, yeah. By the way, it was a eight points nine nine seconds. Yeah. So that's easy to just Google. Reggie Miller point, eight seconds. You can find that little sequence. There was a three pointer. I think you had to run back and turn in mid air. And then Huckabee pointer, I mean, I can do one out of ten I think, and that's what my feet set and no one guarding mean. He did what he did. But look I'll finish with this. By the way today, our guests. We'll be Gilbert burns Dominic Ray is Anthony Smith those are three m I guess on this radio show where we spoken very little. I wanna finish with this for my buddies, and this is more to squid than Woody squid. Do you? Remember when we were seventeen years old and we went to two game sevens back tobacco. You're seventeen and eighteen that was the Los Angeles Lakers game seven, Boston Celtics, and the and the Detroit Pistons we didn't have that kind of money. I don't know where the hell we got two hundred. That's what it costs us to get in. Are you? And they thought his his data ticket. Yeah. The money just comes and goes, then the memories don't know what I mean, don't and I know my dad can say I went to a game even to game six game was better. We won from like, it wasn't like his came down to like a Magic Johnson type show, you know, the little shot. I don't know what it was what it was game six. He had the better game. But we were there to watch everybody rush the court. I was just telling Jon Landau, the story about the limousine driver who tried to get loud Lippi with Lakers fans, and then about thirty of us jumped on his limo and just completely demolished stone cold. He asked for it. But but but squid you remember that right squid? Do you remember when we made shirts that said? Gola foster the Lakers because Boston fans used to used to say what these say beat LA LA LA and Laker fans used to say, Boston sucks. So we combine the two and printed out the dumbest t shirts, you could possibly make cheapest shirts, probably like one seventy five cents for shirt, and we're still don't pretend we tried. We sold a few. And then also tapped on the shoulder by LAPD. He can't be doing that took it from us. He let us keep the money. I think because we said we haven't sold anything, you know, we're all scared, but we were Housel in. You know what I mean? And he just can't erase those good memories. He had so many the shirts damn tickets and get the fuck outta town man on Saturday drive up onset drive up on Saturday pickup. Woodie go to the game. In the game live with the consequences of the game. And then if you're tired of dry back, then stay at woody's..
How Likely Is Rob Gronkowski Vs. Jalen Ramsey Matchup In Patriots-Jaguars Read more at: https://nesn.com/2018/09/how-likely-is-rob-gronkowski-vs-jalen-ramsey-matchup-in-patriots-jaguars/
"A rematch of last year's AFC championship game between the patriots and the Jaguars. But this one with a hair more fireworks last year, Jacksonville, almost upset the pets before Tom Brady lit it up this here. Jalen Ramsey spent his off season criticizing players. He deemed overrated. He mentioned grunk. Interesting. Also, interesting. Jalen Ramsey seems confident heading into this week's matchup. Listen to this. Defensive coordinator. If someone says rob gronkowski is overrated, what would you say to that person? Said, he's crazy. Might be crazy. I don't care. Call him about staffer. You're, you're, you're, you're saying, you think good good now, get it supposed to eat good. But like you say, this to me is supposed to bring fear. I, I fear, no man period is good. His face all year. They got an incredible rush. Great, linebackers, great secondary. It's going to be very, very challenging, tough environment. We'll see what made up. He doesn't care any man, Chris, Kenny Noman even though it's quite a little bit of different tune than he was singing in the off season when he talked about gronk. All right, who's got the edge in this rematch the pats offense or this Jaguars defense? Can he says the pets offense just because we know what they are, the patriots gonna score points. That's just what it is. It's going to be somewhere between twenty one and twenty eight points. I think the average twenty eight point Sogame last year you saw what they did this year opening game against Texas, so we know what the patriots are. So I think this is going to be up to the Jaguars offense to be able to match points so defensively, I know that the Jaguars they're going to try to take away rob gronkowski. You saw at AFC title game. You only had one catch before you got knocked out with that concussion. But I mean they're going to have a plan to deal with rob gronkowski. It's about the other guys in Tom Brady always finds a way because that's just what he and Bill Bill to check do. But looking at the Jacksonville Jaguars, they're gonna have to find a way to be able to move the football. You saw it in that giant's game after mid. Ways that second quarter we're Linda four net got knocked out. They struggled to move the football. They had one scoring drive where they got the ball at midfield, but other than that, they weren't able to move the ball only four first downs after that drive. So I mean, that's a struggle for this Jaguars team offensively than four nets banged up. I think TJ Yeldan is a service of running back, but he's not the difference maker that four net is for that offense. So I'm going to say that the patriots have the advantage in this matchup because I don't know that the Jags offense is going to be able to match points with Tom Brady. Yeah, pats offense definitely do have the advantage, New England. They don't listen to any of the interviews that other teams do. But what I've seen through the years, especially from any defensive back that makes any type of comment about New England if they were cheating, anything that they say that might be shot at New England in the game plan. During the game. Bill Bill check will either run at that person with big Lyman are someone like gronk or they run the double move our account. Move a trick play look Bill to take advantage and make somebody look real real bad. So I expect them Jalen is going to guard gras. I expect in some of those situations. They're going to get gronk the football, but also I would spec them to run at grunk so could blonde Jalen and that's not something you don't have to be afraid, but that's something that Jalen does not want to see. He doesn't have the. I discipline was I disciplined how they see the ball, how they see elephants is in Jalen used to being outside, and he's not used to having the action in front of him, but linebacker. See, that's why when Bart Scott was here, he was talking about if you try to travel with grunk, Bella check will do some things that take advantage of thing that you're not used to seeing so huge advantage to pats offense going against a very good Jags d, Chris, to your point about if you chirp during the week, they might have a special play for you in the game plan famously I'll just go back a decade because happened to a buddy of mine. Anthony Smith.
