"There was Tom barringer particular as well. Yeah, for the audience for the audience here. There's Tom Barry and you're Sam Elliott. Gary Busey, Brad Johnson was a big back then. Captain Dale die of Saving Private Ryan fame. George Hamilton back then the 90s arle army. And of course, and then there was a law and orders Chris nath, who was big. Frankie Quinn, Francesco Quinn, the eldest son of Anthony Quinn. Okay, yep, yep. And Frank and I became good friends. And I was living in northern LA county and a little town called active ACT and at the time. And I had my own like 6 or 7 horses. On my 6 acre little ranch, so you were pretty active working to build a Ford living like that. Yeah. So you had a speaking role in rough riders. How did the role of Indian bob come to you? How did it happen? Well, that was a news to me to its time. John milius, who had visited, and he wrote a couple of hero Geronimo, which I was also in a Robert Duval and Gene Hackman and that was a big Matt Damon. Yeah. And welcome by I was walking by John Lewis's office at Warner Brothers one time. And I said, well, he wrote Geronimo. I'm going to say hi. And I'm at Leonard Brady. He's a assistant. And they were really glad to see me, because I was a Lakota. And John is a big supporter of Indian issues. And so and so in John, not here, and I'm back in a couple hours. You hang around. So I did. I'm around. I often have, and John came in and John and I visited for four or 5 hours in his office. Wow. And then by a year later, I get a phone call from this casting agent and she said, mister primo, can you come down to my office and sign a contract? What do you mean sign a contract? No, well, we have a role for you in the movie rough riders, and we like to do a Santa contract. I was in my car in three minutes. Driving the LA. And I signed my contract and I was treated like a king, because John milius wrote the role of Indian bob specifically for me. And John milius is like a premier screenwriter in LA, even today. Yeah. He wrote God. His resume endless. That's awesome. So he wrote that specifically for you. We'll move on to Texas all over Texas. And all of a sudden I got a limousine pulling up in my front yard to pick me up to me the airport. First time that's ever happened. I'm sure. Oh God, I should say so. I said, what? I felt really privileged and my son was born in November 16th and I had 96. What could I give John who ran this rule for me in this movie? And I need my son telling millions primo. My son's middle name is after John milius melis. That's a pretty that's a pretty big honor. When I told him, I showed John we're certificate tears literally came to his eyes and I felt really proud I did the right thing, I think. Because what did you do with everything? You know, materially. Yeah. And so but when I just gave you on a hug and John I can't thank you enough. That was it. That's great. That's great. So you are the only native on that movie. You had no, there was one more. David midthunder? Yeah. There was two more bit thunder and another, I can't be, but I mean, you were one of very few what I was getting as you're one of very few Native Americans in Hollywood at the time. Was there a camaraderie camaraderie with either other veterans or other Native Americans in LA at this time? Not really. Camaraderie was. Jealousy. Competitiveness. There's more competitiveness. Competitiveness, but there was also a bit of jealousy and also. That's unfortunate. Today, if you go back to I think episode one 40 in the archives and look through Jennifer Marshall, she's a navy veteran that's out there in LA today. And they have a group now called veterans and media and entertainment. And I think they meet at least once a month. As a support group to veterans in the film industry, trying to make it trying to make it out there. But I just wanted to share that with you that nowadays. There are veterans, you know, that are supporting each other out there in LA. Obviously, I mean, from what your testimony is to unlike to what it was back then. Yeah, it was completely different ball game back when I was living in LA. She does still say that it is pretty isolated and isolating place LA, but she does say that there are veterans that are helping each other out there. So after rough riders, you had a developed some friendships out there, obviously with John milius and Gary Busey. And you ended up on a couple of reality shows. Towards the end of your career, celebrity wife swap, and I'm with UC Davis. Late 20 12s. How did that relationship develop? How did you, how did all that come to be? Gary had his own TV show called life with beauty. Yeah, yeah. And I was on one of the segments. And we spent we spent like a week in Sedona, Arizona. Filming that. And it was, in fact, I had to stop to Gary a couple of days ago. We talked fairly often, him and I. I look at your career, Robert, even before you film career. And it's almost like you were a Lakota renaissance man. You know, including your films, you were also had your own radio show. And you were a basketball coach, correct? Yes. Got you. What were the name of the radio shows? Two of them. I would say at the time, it was the first veteran show in the nation called sitrep situation report. Sure. And that was in 2009 to 2012, I think. Okay. So you had to sit rep in what was the other one? The warrior. American English show and American national American Indian issues. And both shows, I interviewed generals, congressmen, leaders in the Indian country. Travel chair people. Travel leaders, and that show went nation nationwide. You also, including your radio shows you were a spokesperson for a lot of veteran issues and Native American issues. You did some speaking to other tribes. I saw a YouTube video with you with the Seminole like a Seminole Veterans Day. You talk about and you've talked to me about the four Lakota virtues. Why are they important to you? What are they? Oh, yes. I'm calling the four cardinal virtues. Of the Lakota warrior. And we are taught these virtues from very young kind of from a very young age as soon as the youth could start to understand..

So as you can imagine, this person turned her down Shocking. Claudia didn't go away. She said. Quote. Tell me what part of this is too hard for you. Uh oh. Well, that would have just teed me up. She took the high road and said, I've got another job and the pay isn't enough. Uh, Claudia Claudia is Tuesdays Tool. I got another one for you. It's two people that are tool. Are you ready? Okay. Newlyweds are called out over their revolting 9 11 themed wedding. Oh, recently, uh, we told you about September 11th being a popular wedding date this year, but obviously one couple took it a little too far. Right. Why is it a popular waiting gate? It's a discount 11. Well, because every day is popular wedding day because nobody could get married during Covid. So then it's double booking. So you know what I think of weddings? Yes, All right. All right. So it's also they offer discounts because nobody wants 9 11 is their wedding anniversary. Hahahaha. So you give him a half price room, and they're good. Whatever you can get married for, like five bucks in this town on Derby Day, really? Newlyweds personalized Uzis featuring the twin towers. Oh, so it's spelled out nine dash. The two towers were 11. No. Okay, and they gave those cruises out to guess. Are these idiots from the New York area? I don't know where they're from probably Saudi Arabia, but they they they, instagram and reddit kind of blocked out their faces to prevent this couple from being assaulted. Or because I can think of a few 1000 New York firefighters have probably don't find the irony in that or congratulated on Facebook. Uh, thing is How did they get to that point Was there not one person in the wedding partisans are friends. Who are you kidding? That's dumb. How about the Cuzzi person? Mm hmm. Whoever made the Uzis why wouldn't they go? Hey, You can't do this because the Cuzzi persons check clear they didn't care. I mean, my God, who's a bigger tool, the wedding or that dog owner? Well, the wedding involves a lot more people. Yeah, that's true. That is tool that there's two tools Don't tell me they had, like, Did they have a 9 11 wedding cake? Yes. Yeah. 9 11. The whole thing was 9 11 theme. What was it like? Shaped like the Pentagon or something? I would think. I mean, it's just we're going for the full insult here. Oh, my God. You're right. Yep. Alright On that note, the oldest World war two veterans celebrated his 112th birthday. I saw this New Orleans. This guy is not a tool by the way. No, no, no, no, no, no Cool. No tool. Awesome and I. Here's what I thought when I watched the party. How much do you know Orleans? People just want to party because all this bad stuff spent happened to him. Whenever I watched the this the New Orleans game was in Jacksonville. Yeah, like half the city drove over there. I was like what is going on. I was like, Why is there sunlight on the I was like It's supposed to be in New Orleans, and I was like, Oh, the flooding. It's still not good enough to have a football game in. They had to play their home game in Jacksonville, because there's I think one of the parishes To the south, like downwards closer toward landfall happened. But when was it like, two weeks ago now and they're still only like 39% power restored. Wow. Yeah, a lot more water is going their way right now. My question to you is I'm so happy for this 112 year old World War two veteran. He's the oldest World War two veterans. Would you want to live to be 112? If I could be in good health and 100 and 12 guys still pretty sharp, Okay, like if I got some mobility, and I meant not asking about him. If I could be that healthy and still viable and enjoying life and not just drooling on myself. Sure, Yeah, I don't know if I'm in a nursing home, and you know, I've got no idea where I am or what I'm doing. No, so it needs to be a coherent 100. Nobody knows why he's here. Okay, So what he's doing if you're 100 and 12. Then let's take that you all your friends and family died at the average American, which is 86, right? Okay, So how many years have you lived? Where? You know none of your family or friends 26 in his case, 26 year, 26 years after your last friend died, and probably your Children and your Children. Well, you can make more friends. Yeah. And if you're 100 and 12 year old veteran, you've got lots of friends that turn out for his party was awesome. I'm pretty sure it 112 you. The boys still swim. He could probably have another kid. Oh, that's true. Only you would think that that's what Tony is like. Okay, That's what Tony wants to be The oldest guy to procreate because we're thinking squads as long as we're not drooling on ourselves, and we know where we are. Tony's like, Will it still work? Tony? I don't care if I'm drooling. Can I still get it on Because even at 112, the nurse is going to go with up. It didn't didn't Anthony Quinn and Tony Randall, don't those guys didn't he have kids in their seventies? I think so. Seventies. Now, see, I disagree with Jagger Still having kids, isn't he? No. Can't be right. Don't know He's still trying Jagger that tells you rock and roll and money, you little sleepy and David Bowie didn't have one, though. No, I don't think that's possible they could adopt to tell you the truth. Here's one A woman in Ghana. Okay, decided to secretly have four kids with their handsome ex boyfriend because Her husband's way too ugly. Whoa!.

I kind of feel like how people who aren't really sports fans feel like when they walk around. They see somebody. Can you believe that? Sean wants and wants to get traded? Oh, my God, you know, and and they're going. I can't believe how fired up. You are about this yet, but it's just go on walks and he's he's Top five quarterback in the NFL. Lee wants out my team could get him or somebody else could get him and the non sports fan goes, You know, I kind of get it so one of the best players wants out doesn't want to play where he's playing right. Why? Well, he's unhappy because because the well they traded away all their other best players. Wait, Wait, wait, So so he's not happy and he can leave. We'll know he's got a contract for how much money $140 million. Wait. Any still wants out? Yes. Can he get out? Well, it's kind of the kind of Ken but it kind of they have to agree to trade but he's got a contract. Yes. And he can still just say he wants to go someplace. Yes. I don't understand Nobody else That doesn't work in the real world. That doesn't work for me. I can't just decide. I went out of my job and go someplace else. Yeah, but that's how it goes. This is sport. I kind of feel that way. Like like that's how some kind of can behind as the rudimentary knowledge of it. Yeah. Yeah, No, This one is certainly been very interesting to watch guys who protests and say they don't have two nickels to rub together are outraged by you know the fact that they Closed down and it's Robin Hood, which is kind of funny, right Give from the rich to the poor is the legend. And here, it's like, Hey, here's all the little guys making money and wait. You stopped us from trading and I was treated. You think you're going to lust after him in the movie theater, and you don't want me sitting next to it? It was really weird like that was kind of what the thing was. And it was. It was very strange. "And definitely law enforcement must know about it. Victor, What do you make of Anthony Quinn Warner's Playing of music before the detonation. Also, I think you said something over the loudspeaker me, Kiki kind of gave police and people a heads up on that allowed the police to clear everybody out. And thankfully, nobody got killed. I mean, does that show you that he didn't want to kill other people that maybe he was just Seeking some fame and this was his sick way of getting it. Absolutely. He definitely had a different agenda. And it wasn't It wasn't hurting other people, and he made it very clear. Even, you know, broadcasting that message. The song that he played there that I listen to it, and it was listening to the lyrics and the literal a little a little weird on Suddenly next to why he would play that. But it goes to show for sure that he did not want to hurt other individuals and wanted to cause damage to these buildings. Talking to Victor. I'll be locked counterterrorism expert Victor can go back to the lone Wolf thing here. It's a lot easier for a counterterrorism expert like yourself for people who work in the authorities to wrap their their heads and even the American public to wrap our heads around the fact that OK, this guy was affiliated with some radical Islamic group where this guy was affiliated with this group of this guy did this or that. But with with Anthony Quinn Warner There's none of that. For the most part. That's what makes this even more interesting and even scarier, does it not And absolutely does. And you know these individuals in our own country, even Americans that are contacting ices or other terrorist organizations. You know, you have a trail. You have this, You know, Internet social media. In this case, he didn't even have a social media account. So it's very difficult. This guy was very, very much underground. And very hard to detect, And unfortunately that might be under other individuals out there just like him. And so we wait. Go back to the basics here and rely on our public to tell us what they see out there because we want to. We want to be a able to know and get these individuals identified before they do something like that. Victor always enjoyed talking to you Happy New Year. Happy New Year to you. Thanks. That's Victor, our villa counterterrorism expert. Another big story out there Right now You've got a joint session on January. 6th, Every U S senator representative is gonna have to go on record for or against accepting the results of the presidential election of Joe Biden. That's because one senator Josh Holly of Missouri says he will challenge Biden's victory in Pennsylvania. Calling into question the integrity of the election as a whole. His colleagues that must agree or disagree with this challenge, and Holly pointed out, he said, Let's not forget back in 2004 in 2016. Democrats in Congress objected during the certification of electoral votes in order to raise concerns about election integrity. And when they did it back in 2004 in 2016. They were praised not only by Democratic leadership but also the media themselves. So he's he's challenging and that's what's gonna happen here in this joint session on January, 6th Do you worry about how much someone drinks? Do you feel angry or depressed? Most of the time. "Months before Anthony Quinn Warner's RV exploded in downtown National Christmas morning Officers went to his home and they went there because his girlfriend reported he was making bombs in the vehicle. And as you know, the 63 year Old Warner blew up a city block at about 6:30 A.m. Second Avenue outside of the 18 T switch facility. This bomb cause massive destruction to 41 downtown buildings crippled telecommunication systems throughout the southeast over the weekend in the aftermath, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Warner was not on our radar prior to that bombing. But a metro Nashville Police Department report now states and this is from August of 2019. It states that local and federal authorities were aware of alleged threats he had made Victor Avi locked counterterrorism expert joining me on the show. Victor, is it disturbing to you that We seem to have caught the authorities and ally here or or if it's not a lie. Maybe a misinterpretation. I definitely a misinterpretation because you know they did make the contact and the PD called the FBI to run this individual and FBI. Paley runs them in his and all the federal databases, and he's not in there. And so technically, he's not on the radar because he's not officially, you know, on any kind of watch list or anything like that. So it's just another individual that somebody called from, you know, a call on and the PD, the national local police department just bad as okay. Within this, there's no threat. What which they could've after the welfare check that, by the way, the welfare check they did at the House. Wasn't a complete welfare check because they've never had access to the property. And so they could have followed up with either China contact someone there on a different a different time or even go further. And take it up to a magistrate to possibly get a search warrant to take a look at that RV Victor, You're a counterterrorism expert, but to the average Joe like myself to me, being on the radar is somebody who was reported by a girlfriend and a lawyer at the time is being potentially dangerous. I mean, To me, that's on the radar to a professional like you. There's that fall short of being on the radar. A 10 because two things here, you look at the source right? And it's the attorney that cause it in so right away the credible sources telling you this information and that's good. Um, um, Just a lot of people you could understand. Call the police every day with a lot of tips. And so it doesn't necessarily mean that once you're on the radar because they mean that you're permanently on some kind of record official record at that Police department or long portion agency. There's many people that get called. They're called on by the police, but it ends right there on. So when they say that it wasn't that he wasn't necessarily on the radar. It doesn't mean that they got a call on him. They just never followed up or had an official files on this individual. Okay, let's just say for the sake of argument, we give them a pass on the on the radar situation. What about a follow up, though? I watched the press conference with the police chief, and he said that his officers went there. They knocked on the door. He didn't answer. I believe he said. They had bomb sniffing dogs with them. They saw the RV there. The dogs didn't pick anything up. And then they just simply left. Should there been at least a follow up here? Absolutely. And this is where I think that that we could be a little bit more harsh on the response here and, um, the way out when I saw that, and I saw the footage, you know, he had it all things out. And there was no access to the property. And so they never actually made contact. And that's what you want to do is what we call in law enforcement. I'm knocking. Talk where you go in, make contact with a person whoever answers the door and see what's going on and get some information from them. And in this case, none of that happened. But there could definitely could have been a follow up to you to do that again, or, in fact, gather more information, intelligence from the source and the information that they got. I mean, this is somebody telling you that there's a new individual building bomb. This is not, you know, It's not your normal college again. And so I think this would have been enough to take it to a a local judge to hopefully, get a search warrant and leave it up to the magazine magistrate Judge to make that decision to say, Uh, you know you have enough here going there and check it out. Talking right now to counterterrorism expert Victor Arbilla. Victor Anthony Quinn, Warner. What makes a guy like this guy tick or or I should say what makes a guy like this? Finally, just flip. Do we know these are the hardest ones to identify these lone wolf individuals that, like you know, we're talking about being on the radar. This is a great example of why we should pay closer attention to these type of cause, you know, we rely on law enforcement heavily on the public T give those tips If you see something, say something, And so it's important that long portion will follow up on these kind of calls because you want to Be able to identify these long wolves that are not on the radar that no one knows what's going on. And especially what you said. When is it going to be that moment that they're gonna be set off and we want to be able to make contact with them before that happens. Victor. You just hit on something right there. You said when you see something, Say something. We've been told that the American public has been told that since 9 11 Are you fearful that an incident like this where somebody did see something? Somebody did say something, but yet The authorities didn't follow up on enough. Do you think? Are you fearful that something like this will lead others to simply not say anything? Well, I hope that I hope not in my career, Um the reliability on tips from the public is goes without saying it is something that we work with a long portion on a daily basis, and we rely a lot on those tips and sources to give us information of people that know the individuals that were trying to get to an investigator. And so I hope it doesn't discourage people to do that, because eventually it is going to be a citizen and a person that's going to detect something for us out there on the street..

Nashville bomber's remains found at blast scene, authorities say
"Right now, though, I want to go to Matt McClure, NBC News radio national correspondent with more on this Nashville carbon explosion. Matt. What's the latest looking like? Blue Daddy. There is no immediate threat to Nashville. That is what Metro National Police chief John Drake restated yesterday after Anthony Warner was confirmed as the Christmas morning bomber federal investigators Saturday doing a lot of work to search the Warners home. They also got DNA's from unknown relative. They match that with the human remains found at the scene of the RV explosion outside about a TNT facility in downtown Nashville. That is how they were able to confirm that. 63 year old man. Anthony Warner was the person who was inside that RV as it exploded about 6 30 in the morning on Christmas Day. One of the stranger things about this whole thing is, Of course, there was this warning playing out over a loudspeaker a few minutes before this explosion happened prior to that blast, also playing out over that loudspeaker 1964 song by Petunia Clark. You might be familiar with it. It's called downtown, and when You're alone, and life is making you lonely. You can always go downtown, one of the more well known lyrics. They're just kind of Ah, strange thing about 41 businesses in downtown Nashville sustaining damage in this blast, along with an 18 th facility downtown, and that really caused a lot of havoc for a lot of people's cell phone service, data service and even Internet services. Not only around Nashville, but around the region. Blue Day, Matt, Do we know anything about Warner? I mean, do we know anything about a motive? I know this guy was into technology. I don't want to say he was a computer geek, but, I mean, he was that kind of guy That knew a lot when it came to technology electronic so as far as a motive right now, where the authorities thinking Yeah. I mean, that's really what they're focusing on right now. As you as you allude to they're you know, they're trying to figure out exactly what might have led him to do this. He did, as you would say, you know, have a lot to do with computers and technology. He sort of ran his own computer and I t business out of his home with self employed in that for a long time, But people described him as sort of just a little bit of a loner and someone who stayed home a lot of the time but still no real clear motive. Of active point, But that is, of course what the investigation is turning to. All right, Matt. What about when it comes to you? Anthony Quinn Warner are authorities thinking that he was alerting people that he really didn't want. To hurt that many people. It's kind of odd to be playing music and kind of given a heads up that something is probably not right here. Right, you know, and that's what I've seen quotes from from people who either went to school with him or who were his neighbors. And they said that they that's what they believe that he clearly did not want anyone else to be hurt in this, but one of them, maybe make some sort of statement. Of course, that is, you know, unconfirmed at this point, but that is what really all of the evidence seems to be pointing to it that you really wanted to give a warning and didn't want people. Who were not maybe other than himself. You know, though, to be injured in any sort of way, right? That's kind of what the assumption is at this point. All right, man, thanks for the info.
