"I don't think so. I don't think he should train your body. I don't think you should train your mind. I think you should just be fat and lazy and slow satisfied with you are comfortable with who you are body positive movement. Don't let anybody tell you that you're not good enough. That's what i do and it seems to work out pretty well for me. Yes of course ours. Brian michler of course trainer. But you you have a moral obligation responsibility to train your body and your mind if you're not gonna do it. Just be prepared for results. Less than you're capable of you want great results than you've got to be delivered. You've got to be intentional. You've got to train for it and you gotta make it happen so i would say the answer to. That is most definitely yes. Of course alright. Five x bashed right out on these questions. Brian tell you. I know all right. Come on now give me a good one all right. I'm a police officer who works. Twelve hour shifts seven out of fourteen days. Maybe it's not me selecting the questions. Maybe just all these questions suck no. It's you because i saw some questions. Some good questions in arquette well. I'm having a hard time. Finding this guy works seven out of fourteen days. Yeah works twelve hour shifts out of fourteen twelve shifts. Seven out of fourteen days have started training jujitsu three days a week and i trained and i try to run through five miles three days a week. I also have to take care of the house and yard. You've talked a lot about family time or finding time for fitness and career goals. How do you make sure your investment enough time in family. Is there a minimum number of hours in a week. I mean look. There's not a minimum number of hours. So what you're falling into the trap of is this work life nonsense balance. Nonsense right where where. People assume that means equal distribution of priorities and responsibilities and obligations and tasks and things like that. And it isn't like that you know especially when you're working twelve hour shifts. I seven days in a row or whatever. I didn't quite catch how that worked. But it's going to be more difficult obviously for you to put any real workout or spend time with your wife and kids when you're doing that but that's what the job requires so the way that you do. It is not by measuring the hours that you're putting in but you measure the results that you're achieving if you feel distance from your wife. It's probably time that you consider putting in some more effort and make not a larger priority than something else. If you feel that your fitness is getting out of whack. Then you need to start prioritizing that and that's not to say that you completely abandon one priority or one responsibility so you can go all in on the other. There is a little bit of balance there. But the distribution of your resources time energy attention etc are going to be determined based on the results that you're experiencing if i'm struggling financially. Well i've got to get my ass to work and make sure that. I make ends meet or i may not need to pick up a second job to pay the debts off or make sure that the bills are paid the roof over the head. If i've i've been so busy with work because personally i've been traveling so much. Well you know it's it's it's important for me to take some time off maybe even from jujitsu or maybe even from Extra work opportunities or another trip could take and spend time with the family. So really evaluate the results that you're experiencing and then make your decisions based on that you're out of whack right now because you're asking the question so you just need to get that back in alignment with your priorities and get back on track. Tom ward won a one. What are some ideas for the rite of passage so to speak for becoming a man so ideas around rights of passage. Anything that's going to have a level of competition involved in a ceremony involved in it suffering needs to be involved. It's got a scare. You gotta challenge. You gotta push you outside of your comfort zone. It typically would involve something that you've never done or a skill that you're trying to develop but there has to be hardship. There has to be a clear objective and there has to be some sort of a ceremony or a ritual along with the completion of it. And that might just be you going to compete andrew jitsu and the the ceremony. Is you standing on the podium. Because you meddled in tournament so that would be a form of rite of passage. Another right of passage might be something like Beja was cool. Leon's program or squire program that my son and i did suffering mentally emotionally physically a lot of learning lot of hardship and then at the end we had the graduation dinner even down to certificate of completion for my son that he had framed. It's up on his wall. I can see he's proud of that. It's a physical manifestation. The work that he's done and therefore it would fall under the category of rite of passage. But it has to have those elements in those dynamics in order for it to to qualify right of passage anthony green. So i'm a new father. My daughter is two months old. I'd love every second of it. But i'm having a really hard time. Maintaining consistent workout routine with all the randomness and lack of sleep. That comes with the baby any tips. Squeeze it in where you can so this goes back to the previous question about the irregularity of the schedule and the priorities of course less sleep right now. Heavy emphasis on wife and daughter. I believe he said. Of course that's going to be the priority. It would actually be weird if it wasn't if other areas of your life were completely on par in light of you having your first child so know that this is a season but also make sure that you give yourself the space in the margin to take care of yourself. That might be very early in the morning. You know after after she's in bed or here's an even a another good example of way to do this. Look at her sleep schedule. And maybe once she's put down at seven o'clock or whatever it is a i know whatever you do. Maybe she sleeps really good for two hours cable. There's there's a two hour window right there and you know what i bet your wife would appreciate you leaving her the hell alone in that two hours because she's up to here as well if you are. She is probably even more so so. Say hey hon. You know at seven o'clock from seven to nine at personal time for you. I'm.

"The end it's time for the match beyond the baby. Faces are struggling. They're getting killed and all of a sudden. What's that noise. What is that noise. everybody looks to the back. Here comes is gigantic cake from backstage. Bigger than the one that had sex on wrestlemainia tears down the aisle and shots on the top. It she goes from the tank to the top of the cage and she dives all the heels painted face to make their become back in. They win easiest thing in the world or even better yet which they can't do but it would be if it were cartoon abi awesome. She comes out and she's in the gun of the tank and take shoots canon over the top into the ring and they make their become back in their run wild and they win. You wanna talk about changing the face of the wrestling business turning the tide. That's what does it because as a fan. Let me tell you watching this television show. These baby faces are the biggest storks. They get beat up all the time their friends turn on them. They're total losers. They got to win this war games match and we gotta get the tank debut wing. Boom there you go. I can't really follow that with anything. I was hoping to to get out. You know my my overdub of games. You speak back in the day where there was the guy that they're building a dome of steel in atlanta was the the big thing now. I'm trying to figure out what shots he could have been saying Building this massive tank That you want her to come out and get shot out of which would change certainly changed. The face of ecstasy would probably change her face as well to which worries me enough. In this match where chassis blackheart has no problem taking risks and Has pretty much let their performers take risks during wargames matches. Some of the undisputed heroines. And everything else so That is one way of doing things that is for sure I guess another way would be to handcuff Somebody up against the fence and you know murderer is one of their legs. Obviously you wouldn't want to do the whole raven thing and e c w or. He's up against the fence and somebody gets brain with a chair. I don't think they'll be taking that type of risk on but yeah. I think you could do something like that. Although all this could have been avoided by just going ahead and doing the traditional thing which would have the heels start. Because i know everybody wants to change the game on that and you mentioned the many times that impact did but you know sometimes like the classics still work. You know. we don't need to tell parables or anything like that but basic you know evil getting the upper hand on good as the match starts is usually of safe way to go all right. This person is upset. They say if shots he gets hurt the faces still have the two on one advantage then the three on two advantage the heels will eventually get a floor on three advantage but the face have okay homeless. Say first off. I didn't book into this scenario in the first place one might mighty to have a baby face advantage and second off if the he'll comes to the ring i and were waiting for the baby face but shotsie was supposed to be first and she doesn't come out and the baby faces are so busy tending to her that we just start that first period right then the second person in should be baby face so it's one on one then it becomes to unwanted vantage heels right so we will work my about this no. I don't think listen. I'm trying to fix the st- problem here. I'm not the guy that said. Hey i got a great idea. Because the baby faces the advantage mightier. The embassy me even better if the heels have the advantage and you injure shotsie. Now they're at a real disadvantage when they shooter out of that canon at the end there. What about all the other issues with some of the other bill to the matches on this show with the exception of maybe mcafee undisputed era. I'll tell you what's on this show. So undisputed era versus pad mcafee screw. I mean to me pad mcafee's crew has to win. I don't know how you could actually. Actually that would be the one where you could have. Somebody turn you break up the disputed era. I mean they tease. They were going to do it until What's his face got. Hurt ridge holland. So i mean maybe they're going to break them up in one of them's gonna turn and it's going to eat. He'll join pat mac vs crew. Who's pat mac v. Made the most fun of kylie. Kyle turns joins mac these team they destroy under undisputed era. I feel the heels. Have to win that match. And i've been there forever absolutely and i think it may be time for a little bit of a shake-up like i kind of wanted to see kyle riley Stay is baby face in seattle cold turn heel but they've done all this stuff with mcafee. I think adam cole needs to stay just where he is as baby face. But this would be a great time. Because pete done obviously not a talker. That's the they'd make that part of his character that's not part of his forte. You know lurking in birch are great but they are wrestlers. They're not you know. Going to be cutting promos mcafee as doing all the promo cutting o'reilly is not the rock. But he doesn't have to be. I think he's believable. He's been around long enough. He's got credibility and he's a pretty darn good promos. So if you're gonna make the move him i think right now is a great time to do it. Otherwise roderick strong fits that role really well because again. I don't know if mcafee mcafee can be there every week but even if he is you have somebody there that can kind of carry the load form so we also have. Dixie loomis cameron grimes. I mean somebody helped me in thirty one takeovers however in this match because literally vinnie did because he's a mark for timothy thatcher but if he is how did he like any of this. It's too stature. And that's your taps out to coscia. Oh man let even even before that. Brian afraid and the guy i mean come on even before that the stuff with anthony green or whatever his name is i can't remember his damn name now. He rustled the last week on the show and got beat up by cameron. Grimes even that the whole built that. Why was stature. Showing any sort of.

"York. Okay I was I was incredibly happy to see that. So Anthony Green as a kid, he's from the Massachusetts area. He goes by the name of the Retro Retro Sexual and He I used to work with them up at WCW see or no way. Yeah, and he was one of my favorite people. So normally up there I was like out go to dinner with. Mike. Hammer stone. Mostly hang out with him and then Hammerton doesn't really party right so. What everybody else was going out to the bar hammer would probably like be like going back home or back to the room to to you know go to sleep at night by the way I'm looking at a scary fucking awesome. He's awesome. Jacket. No it's Ok it looks like a Roberto Jake opposed to. He's a great guy. So Anthony is one of the guys that would go out to the bar with like there's a you know you had like the group of guys I would go to the bar across the street and and hang out for a little while and then so anthony, there was always a there's always karaoke going on at this bar across the the the way. An Anthony was constantly karaoke king and he would only Karaoke to songs. I one vanilla ice ice ice baby. And the second one mantell Jordan this is how we do it. And he thinks it's I think he thinks it's really cool that he knows the lyrics. It's one of those are like two songs. A lot of people know the lyrics. But anyways he He's an awesome dude. He was one of my favorite guys hang out with up at WCW C.. And to see him get signed is is great because he's really put a lot of working. He's been in the business for a while he started as a referee. And, then he worked his way into wrestling. For entering. So here's a great story about Anthony, and this is how good a guy he is. Okay. So he he was working for evolve prior to evolve being shut down or sold or whatever the hell is going on with them right now and I went to Chicago I think yeah in two thousand, nineteen I think it was like around August I went to evolve tryout out in Chicago I Kinda I kinda worked my wife I said Hey. We should go to Chicago hotter. Family and Oh, by the way, there is a tryout going this company. Maybe I can do this tryout at the same time and I got it. Yes. Out of her and I was like sweet Bingo. So the The trial was probably about like forty five minutes away from where my my brother-in-law's house that I was staying at and they let me borrow the car to drive over there. and go out there, and I'm waiting for a bunch of you know you're waiting. For everything to kind of start happening and we're all waiting this hallway. And it's a very narrow hallway that was in there with like probably like thirty guys. Lined all the way down and stuff like that and. I see some I see somebody that like I kind of know. From like around the the business and that person kind of like doesn't even really like. Acknowledge me at all no one does. So it's kind of like, okay like all right. You know like you think like if you saw somebody like, Hey, what's up man? What are you doing here? Like that kind of stuff this I didn't do that. But. So anyways a few minutes later not too long ago I see. Anthony. Show. Up because he's booked on the show that person by the way I'm not gonNA. Say All right and I want to bury someone. He walks you know I'm not going to be like some mark and try and be like Yo Anthony what's up man? So it was it's real crowded and there's just a lot of people and he just showed up and he walks through and he passes by me but I didn't even try to get his attention. You know I was going to let them kind of get settled in and all that kind of stuff. So I'm just kind of hanging out they're you know making small talk with the people around me if even that a more just hearing people like Kinda, like blow smoke up each other's asses that's that's what a lot of these tryouts are and. All of a sudden, I see anthony just bum rushing through the crowd and he's looking at me and he comes up and he just gives me a hug and he's used his generally excited to see me. You know he's like this is awesome. You're here and I'm like, yeah, and you know That's the kind of guy that like you want to do well and and get recognized for and all that kind of stuff because he he's he's he's a he's one of the goodest brothers there is. So I was really excited that he got signed and I sent him a message. And I said congratulations getting you know getting picked up by the Fed and he he replied we call it New York. Said I'm sorry. For, at least you straighten you out now but he's a great kid. He actually he's he had a great gimmick going on he So his girl he he has the thing to girls called his honeys. They're called his honeys. And one of them is actually his girlfriend and then the other one was just She's another female wrestler and they had like a they would escort him to the ring and all that kind of stuff and he was zoomed out or Zubaydah's Zuma's. Good Kid I hope he does well and I was really happy to see. Him Get picked up by the way we've talked about it before. I really do I. Talked about before because I'm looking at this time on his honey and I'm like, I think we talked about this before when you're what's I think we talked sorry I. Think we talked about this before when you talked about going there and I don't know working someone in the in the match here's why. I remember the honeys but. for anyone who who's not familiar with, and I now that I see him I'm like Oh. Yeah I know that Gay as far as what he looks like looks like a cross between. Peter Avalon Joey Ryan Young Buck and. I had one other person. My I can't think of it The nineteen eighty-six bears with their nineteen..

"Don't think it was the prime minister. They had someone the governor whoever come on talking about Melborn is shutdown. No one is coming around. We're doing We're doing curfews at eight o'clock. You're not allowed to go more than five kilometers from your home that is it they hit some actually their numbers are way better than ours but they're. fucking going hard. Anyway, Carlo was the first ever champion for a company in Australia called under under underground or under world wrestling underground wrestling. I don't know it. You can find it on Amazon go on Amazon prime right now are you could find it watch them episodes watch them Carlo Cannon as champion and and they I believe they still had the turn buckles. But you understand the vibe of it. It's a you know illegal betting operation type deal where you know it's it's underground. Clubs like Fight Club right there. It's fight club but with wrestling and. What we saw today I think it was shane announcing. Well no turn buckles and. The The EH may experienced didn't didn't look like it was up to par now at least for the clip that we saw now speaking of covert. I got about this I got tested today. Yeah. I officially when he got tested today because One, to train. A level up, we gotta get tested Yep, and which is a good thing But anyways I. Guess I have. No I. Don't I feel one hundred percent I feel like I. Can. Go run a mile or two or three right now I feel. You can run a mile at your age that's and. The but I was like, okay I'll make an appointment attested and went there and a lot of people are scared because the nasal swab, right? Right. So I, pull up and Do all the answering questions who am I all that kind of stuff and the lady comes over and she's like, okay, you're going to stick this up your nose. twirl it around for a little while and then you've got, you know stick it up the other nostril man. So lobby, we're like Oh man feels like you're getting your brain like touch and all it doesn't go that far up does not but it doesn't go that far it tickles tickles in it tickles I. It's almost like. Like I want to sneeze and I couldn't sneeze. Yeah. And then my eyes start just watering crazy I'm laughing the whole time I'm doing I'm doing it myself. So basically like you're tickling inside your your nostrils. And you can't take it out until the lady kind of says like, Hey, you know kate gwen switch. But I was just like I was my tears were just running down my face as I'm driving away because I'm just like I I called my wife and I'm like, no, it's not bad at all. It's actually tickling. And I I had such an urge you WANNA sneeze. 'cause you're like I. Feel like I have to like just sneeze to get this out of my. Face right now. But it was not bad. So if anybody out, there is thinking about getting tested. It's. It's not bad. Well, they have a couple of tests. They have the nose swab and then they have one that's A. It's A. Anybody's tests which tells you if you. You know obviously you never got sick you might not have. Covert but you have the antibodies. So you probably did have it or you are at least exposed to it and your body built up a defense mechanism to. They're saying those things don't last very long the antibodies like versus other things where it lasts forever years this is like. Maybe. A couple of months if that, then they could go away, which is fucking crazy. By the way we were talking about conspiracy theories a couple of episodes ago. What Got Gossiping Go. Oh, I was just saying like for the people who are in the camp of Kovic was created in a lab. The fact that your body creates anybody's that go away very fast from this thing and people can catch it multiple times. That's something that I think is kind of a dunk for them that like maybe it wasn't natural. Yeah. funny thing. So a few weeks back, we're talking about a conspiracy theories. And one of 'EM. Was Wayfair? Right. Yeah the it has to do with the trafficking underage kids right in. So you they said. On Way Fares. Online store and all these little codes mean a different name or so there's like different names or something like that for different is that you can perch. Okay. So anyways, we talked about that like I said, I never heard of even heard of wayfair until I heard about this conspiracy theory. So order a cabinet and if a kid comes out, this is where we're going with this. God. So I, ended up talking to my wife. About wayfair like the day after or something like that, and my wife Goes Yeah I've bought plenty of things off wafer. And I'm like the kid show up. She's like the one that we've been feeding this entire time. We we are in the process of. Changing my guest bedroom into an office because we don't have people staying the night enough to right. You've never invited me one time which is kind of fucked up. Yeah. We still haven't. We don't have people over enough to justify having a guest bedroom really in really an office would benefit us more because of my wife's work and the business that I have but I come home the other day to a huge package on my door. It's a gigantic blocks and a couch that pulls pulls out until like futons. I guess you could say, yeah, it's from. wayfair. And still haven't. opened. It up. Oh. My God. Some hold in there for the kids. So this is going to be an incredible on boxing. Are you GonNa film it live maybe. Okay. Maybe putting out. Tell you what I have. No. Plans on opening that box anytime soon because so there's a child in their very unhappy. Okay. Do me a favor at least drop some cheese, its of their drops some cheese in there some no. Holes. Okay. Okay. Take us some scissors poke holes just jump I knocked Sean and I said Hey is there any kids in there and have gotten response yet in English or any language I I know English okay. So did you hear any noises come from the box now? Why don't you think wafer was like a shipping company like for some reason I feel like when I whenever I, see the the word wayfair I feel like it's unlike the side of A. Like a moving truck or something like that. Maybe it is. May May. May Make no maytag is dry maytag is like. WASHERS and dryers. Now I know what you're talking about. A mayflower maybe? Yeah it might be that. Yeah it might be the close enough. But anyways. So I just a thought that was pretty interesting that we were talking about that and my wife ended up ordering something funny and it's a giant box that. Hey for know right now. According to conspiracy theorist. There's a small child in this box that is not happy woods by the way is hilarious to me because I still don't think I've ever seen a wayfair anything in my life in the fact that your wife has been ordering it for years. Yeah. I had no idea. That bank account she'd been ordering it for years I'm just saying it's her bank account man. Oh this is A. The weekend I think he was. Sunday morning. I woke up in the AIRBNB and. I checked out checking the the the dirt sheets, right? The dirt sheets. For wrestling. And I was scrolling and it was a lot of stuff I didn't care about and then I saw a name. pop-up Jesus and I was very excited to hear about this. This guy he's one of my favorite people in wrestling a gentleman named Anthony Green. SIGNED TO ANNEX T. basically signed a new..

"Like at whole like dreaming of Mike Hammer walks in and steals. This guy's shine idea. No idea no hammer did. Maybe I'm thinking did you just do Mexico or or am I thinking of something else we we. We did Mexico like so. We did Mexico on March thirteen or fourteen. Th what like literally I I. I was able to Mexico a Mel W and then the following Sunday Mecca for F s abuse and those like the last wrestling shows that happened in the country opinion. Well I mean I guess. Mexico didn't happen in the country but good thing after that because like like closing the yeah. I saw video for that man. They must have had like five thousand people there. Yeah it was crazy because like we're like man are they even GonNa come to this And obviously we all kind of learned about the growing viruses super-quick because it went from being like not an issue to. Oh my gosh. It's an issue so that Thursday we're like. Oh and then that Friday as listening to the Logger Echo. I get crazier and crazier like our bookings for the next weekend are getting cancelled. And we're like what's going on so we're worried if people are going to show the show sold out over. Five thousand people are awesome. Yeah I I miss that. I miss out on a couple of bookings actually Devon I. We're supposed to be out in Arizona this past weekend. Actually yeah Saturday. But and then I was supposed to wrestle are Boya Darin Corbin up in Oregon on Earlier this month I was telling everybody. Mad Darin Corbin. She was one of the best guys in the ring with. We've got to be anywhere with. I always thought this story like I don't know. I think you probably had to be there for this match but I don't know if you specifically remember US doing this. I just told his story in a few weeks ago but it was a tag match and it was me and this. I don't re- they got like they randomly tried to give me a tag number five. Forbidden Green. And you know like you've kind of already touched our got it where like you'd be wrestling like the same guy much like you stopped trying to have great matches and you started trying like pop. The boys back. I remember what we did was. I'm like I'm the baby faces. So I'm in the heels corner. Heels are Anthony Green and Darren Corbett and like I'm I'm on all fours like all the way at the fuel corner but reaching for the big vase corner. And when the when Darren goes to picking up body slam him out of nowhere and then I crumble back to my knees. Go back to satellite reaching for the but he gets up and out like right away with Anthony. Green impact surprised by and they just keep doing that like between every body slam. I crawl maybe another fought to my core. But because I'm just crawled so slow it'd be body slams. I've probably body slam each of them six times and that I finally make the hot tag at. It's like the crowd goes for the hot tag gets in the RE Jerry. Sloan the bodies. Which fucking awesome. I remember that I remember that. Eighty climactic hot tag of all a I remember that. And you know what Darren and Anthony Green I think would have had such a good tag team together man because those guys were just like on the same page as far as like comedic wise and just in working wise. Yeah I love so I love when a guy knows how to fit on the and what he does and is also good worker so he like he fit the taste for the reason like I don't hate comedy wrestling what I hate when guys use comedy to make up for the fact that they can't wrestle tastes like figures out how to make some funny cool cool by me but if you're like shit I don't really know how to wrestle so I'll just do something shocking or you know. Try to stick my thumb in. Someone's but it's like that's that's lame to me but de definitely knows what he's doing. Oh man he's one of the best man I I. We're supposed to eventually have that match again. But obviously all this shit's on. Hi Ed. How yet is for the time being with sucks man but hey what else can you do? Can You So one of the things we do on this show. We bury ourselves pretty good. Do you have any stories where you're like all my God? What I mean you kind of told us while with with Shelton but is there one? We were like what a Greenie I was like. I walked into the situation and just completely shit the bed. I maybe as a faculty what you're looking for. This just came to mind so I was doing Extra work yes. This is exactly what we're looking for hamburger and I had done extra work cleaning up already had like I had my tryout coming up and it was like a couple months away and the thing is like anyone knows how it works. Don't do extra work is to defy match at smackdown or whatever before this show. Good enough for them to go. Hey let's give this guy a try out and then the trials where you get actually signed so I had no reason even do the extra work I just thought. Well it's a payday of I'll make some more face. It'd be more familiar and you know it was an era zona. So is like no big deal and rewind to the time before this. When I did extra work I was like super nervous. And I'm like sitting there in my suit or I think we're like at the ring and out the cafeteria on and like Jimmy. Jacobs walked by me and he goes. Dude what are you doing? I was like what he's like. Why are you wearing shirt? Because he's a to your shredded like don't you want a job and take your Chernoff often? That was right before I did. A bodybuilding show bone shredded like fin dollar and gender Mahal. And like a couple of guys came in talks with being talk tray with me as really cool and then so fast forward to this time. We're going the extra work. I'm in that first of all way more confident like immediately like I was in my stew made. Sure they didn't need anything and like I took my shirt coat off up and then like Oslo by the ring in my trunks hanging out. And there's a couple of good like Peter Babylon's air and somebody else from so cow. There's like a couple of good workers there but they had to cut a paired up for like doing matches right under one kid from Vegas. I knew so. And he wasn't great but he could get by so I went over to him and my k. If if we get to do a match let's put a little bit of something together so we kinda talked through some stuff and.

"You have put over five hundred thousand miles since I started wrestling. Oh I definitely would. Because he's at five hundred thousand and you said that since two thousand sixteen no I started reading. Twenty-third right right. I got my twenty fourteen so a little less than a hundred. Are we good? Kurt you there. If we lose them it looks like it may starting to get into gun. I guess slowly trying to get them back online car for a hold on hold on Kurt. Are you good all right? Dev? I'm a pull up the card real quick and try to get back on. Pull up the cargo quick. I got a so what we've got on so far. Is We've got a grudge match. You Guide Jd Drake versus Brennan. Vink you've got Josh Briggs versus a are Fox for the evolve title you've got Jake Atlas versus Leon Rough. You've got Stephen Wolff First Harlem Bravado and a No D. Q. Match you've got Denzel Deja Net and Avery Taylor versus Anthony Green and Brandy Lauren Kurt we got you back okay. Good fucking tripping out. Because she kept saying she's like point he's like he's in here. I'm like I don't know I can't hear anything. I tried calling backing out an answering. I'll say no. No that's fucking like not professional. I don't WanNa be that good. Hey maybe we appreciate it. Appreciate it because we've had plenty of. We've had plenty of that customers all right so we were just getting into while we were getting all our technical stuff down the way before we got off we were talking about how you got into evolve and you know you were talking about five hundred thousand miles since two thousand fourteen. So six years yeah. Well I've moved to Saint Louis in January twenty fifteen so technically right past five years so for you. What was what was like everybody's got that one? Turn out turn around where they think. Feel like everything started to click or where things started to take off like. What was it for you was it before evolve or was it any one thing in particular? You can pick out that you feel it. Kinda was your springboard. Every time I'd wrestle like a name they would always like pretty much. Tell me I had it. You've got kids like you. Just you get it Blah Blah Blah. So I was always kind of in that mindset of just like like okay I get it but what's IT GONNA take? What's IT GONNA take an and finally wrestled Silas Young for the When he was television. Champion Ring Water San Antonio and after the match like did so good that they put a spotlight down on me and the whole crowd like directly..
The unsinkable Tyson Fury took America for a night. Can he keep it?
"Tyson. Very deontay wilder both had unique entrances to the ring on Saturday night but the advantage at once the bell rang was all furious. Wilder was knocked down twice once in the third and once in the fifth round while there was able to extend the fight to the seventh round but fury was too much. Wilders corner threw in the towel giving fury the win by Technical Knockout Fox sports analysts and huge boxing Fan Christopher starred with us. Now good to have you on this one. How surprised were you by the outcome will pick wild during the tenth round? Tko So obviously. I thought he'd win. I was surprised he lost. I would not have been surprised. If fury had one in a decision it was a close fifty fifty. A lot of people are saying. It's a fifty fifty fight. I wouldn't have been surprised at off. He just outboxed him for trail round right but for him to march forward the way he did and knock him out. That's the problem. He was saying he was GONNA do it. You know in the premiums fight and I thought he was just talking noise right right and I thought he may be trying to throw wilder off. But here's something I have said since. Wilders become champion and been this prominent fighter and this is why despite his all time high knockout percentage despite his record no one really has ever put him in the class of Tyson Ali. Form and frazier any rocky Marciano. Any of the really great heavyweights. Because the fact is he can't box. He cannot box he has this. That's you his fight against Louis Ortiz. Recently he was getting shut out every round he knocked him out. May One St Right. And so what? What fury did there were so great when he took the fight to wilder and he had wilder backing up like around one. I was watching a fight with some guys. And we're like the body language or walters. Now he's backing up all of a sudden he's never nobody knew that right and he lunges with throws the right he steps for with his left and then lunges. You can't do that if you're backing up. And he wants. He took a fury. Took that away from him. He had no answer no he doesn't jive with a as a weapon. He does it to measure so I get the right right. He can't dance. I was even saying it may be equilibrium. Was just off but once after the third round. He looked out on his feet. I was saying run. Just move until you can get your wits about you or whole you wits about you. And he didn't even know how to do that. Look he showed a lot of heart. He showed tremendous heart because a punch drunk for the last four. But and I'll say this finally. I hope I'm wrong. I don't think he can bounce back. I don't think I think the best chance. He has the balance about that. Furio bounce back thinking fury. I think his best chance of bouncing back is to fight Joshua and maybe beat him but here you know you're the bully and then you get bullied and we've seen it. George Forman it's a religious conversion and fifteen. Here's a preaching to become when he became when he was a whole different person that one Tyson was never quite the same age. Because you're not the same in your own mind nor do you have that intimidation opponents and Roy Jones. Junior wasn't a bully but he was dominant you. Once he got beat he was never this guy. I just mentally. It's GonNa be so hard for him to bounce back I again. I don't think he could be fury. I definitely don't think it'd be fury but I have trouble in general so going back in history. This is what me very late on Saturday night. I picked wilder in a second round knockout because I thought after Tyson fury had all week predicted. I'm going to knock him out in the second round that he would get a little careless and be vulnerable to the one punch. That deontay did have in that. That Punch you could argue is about as lethal as any punch. We've seen in the history of boxing. I don't know if I've ever seen him more savage right than that one in all it takes is one. Is You know and that? Big trees going to topple. But you have to catch him flush and he wasn't able to catch him with it so we're my head. Went back to a fight. That I wrote about was that I watched. I didn't go to just watched it here. That was the rumble in the jungle. I haven't been more shocked by the strategy and the unfolding of a fight than than I have since I sat watching Ali something that I thought was impossible to the beast. Who Was George Foreman and remember in those days George? Foreman weighed two hundred and fifty pounds. He didn't wait to seventy three. And I thought that was beyond massive and Ali Wade to twenty for that fight so he was given up thirty pounds but he wound but he games he had gained. Wait to find out by hand by. I totally agree but I did not see rope adult coming. Because I don't think he's corner. Saw Rope it upcoming. He didn't tell anybody and he goes and lays against the ropes and let he had worked on his core all through his camp and he just put his gloves on and he just said is that all you got champ. Is that all you got and you just kept trying to chop wood until he just chopped himself down

Here's here's the ticket. Go Watch your boys Russell. There's not let the indies are expensive either. Now it's ten bucks a ticket but I've I've I've seen even the cheapest in the show was like. Yeah what most expensive any show I've ever seen was like twenty five bucks get in by even that's not a lot not wwe show. Yeah you might get the chief sick but you like in the nose bleed trying to look at the rain all the way like across the arena amo go to Malaysia India show you up close and personal eighty get to talk to the wrestlers and this one here when they when they throw themselves out of the ring that get right down in front of the people so and this last one that got so rough they actually knocked over the fence between the people and the wrestlers and they were insight in with the crowd. It was great so the wrestling promotion. I go to journey pro show. They'll be diving in they'll be diving in the In the crowd wral. So that's GonNa be a Oh move. Barricade move it's awesome man. Yeah we're GONNA find that album that the things just got at sexier to see the way you just did. That was not fair. That's all going to state nick that I mentioned nine hundred voice when I want to actually actually knew a girl who actually used to. Who Actually did did that during college? Now I did ten years corporate customer service so you know this is the dusty voice and then I would have you. You know you call customer service at have the distinct voice because people especially males tend to actually be nicer. You're talking to real sweet so it's just how they are you know Y- that's unfair. You cannot use one of my weaknesses in life. Yes I like a sexy voice and especially this accidents I had. I had best customer reviews it. That's great so I bet you did say does he using her her dangerous powers against me snap there. That's why you invite Mike Dusty on this show. You don't invite steria. "The overall champion In that same loop we had ricocheted versus Matt Side L. for the first time And and I was just a crazy match But you know that was those. Were really the only time we got to work with Matt of all he had gotten to work with a gaping holes in early and so so forth. But you don't get to see the same energy from him the last loop and again haven't been so long since we've gotten to work together in that capacity you know it's cool getting to have him back in. That's another year veteran in the locker room. But a guy that can still go but you know he. He's he's one of those guys. I'm I can only imagine somebody'll snatch at some point so with with that being said you know you mentioned some of the other names In evolve like Josh Briggs. Who's also past guests this show You know who is really Kinda come into his own. He's now has is the evolve championship which the evolve championship which he took from another passenger. Show Austin Theory For those who haven't gotten a check out and evolve show. I mean. Obviously you see the names that are out there on the Marquee which obviously and smartly. You'll see more about the annex t stuff for those who haven't been doing evolve show you know who who are some of the guys that you would tell people that they should look out for that. Maybe they haven't heard of yet so so you just obviously need very very obvious. One with a Josh Briggs knee recently recently won the evolve championship and he's actually facing jd. Drake who I mentioned earlier And you know I think it's actually somebody. His standouts involved early on on in his time. Stand up matches worry in Livonia including against a metal in Matsue last match before signing with us Ed You know those thirteen guys that some folks may recognize especially drake from from his Metro Boston. Theory on the W network special for those who've seen it But you know still. These aren't guys that you're you're seeing everywhere on the indies surprises. You're not seeing the more places albeit. I'm starting to see them get out. More places of those are definitely two dudes that you know. I think you'll leave and you be like damn what a match for those who aren't familiar recurred stallion ton of personality. They are great wrestler in the ring as well. You know I think stallions a heck of a standout and you know folks in in more the Mid West Texas assistant so forth have gotten secret for a while but now get debris him other places he hadn't been or at least in other other match type situations you know that that's a cool thing occurred and similarly the guy he's he's going to be facing Anthony Green and for those of you who aren't familiar Roberto Anthony Green. He's one of those guys you might look at and be like Is this going to be a joke. Can he starts wrestling you go. This guy's good you know. And and and those are some of those guys that are you know they're coming up you add to them the the guys look the skulk Leon Russkies one half of the tag team champions Indians and you don't under the tutelage of Ar Fox and then Adrian Atlanta's lean gray who've come into their own as well you know it's it's really cool to watch these guys go from the were outside the rain coming coming out with foxes to you. These guys are now literally winning championships. Atlanta's became the world tag team champions recently and and just seeing how good they're getting and I think those guys that again you'll start seeing were places but I think we'll stand out to you if you're there on December six so another one one of the matches that sticks out to me on this card You've got Timothy Timothy Thatcher is going to be on that card now oh yeah. I've seen a lot of stuff stuff from him whether it be blood sport or you know other various places he's been. GimMe your thoughts on Timothy Thatcher. And then bring him in because a match with him versus Walter just sounds like either a somebody might lose a nipple from getting chopped or I don't know because somebody's GonNa get the shit beat out of him. That's all I know no I. I'm actually tickled pink about that match And that's a match also wanted So so Timothy Thatcher's former evolves champion. Campion I actually Do Not WanNa be shy about this back in twenty fourteen. I had the opportunity and it was really on drool. AXE recommendation sneak him into at full impact pro and And actually a fight a little bit With the powers that be because you know we were trying to figure out what to do with them and GLAC didn't have he was deceit. Ob Champing at the time. And we're GONNA have him defend the championship with a double shot in Florida. The second night was going to be against actually roderick strong Which is interesting match for the first night? It took a lot of convincing but it turned Drulak versus Timothy Thatcher and that was in March twenty fourteen in. I dare say it wasn't but a few months later that year next thing you know that seems to be the defining style L. would evolve became Because of how those guys were giving them the chance to show what they can do So Tim is just phenomenal and You know I'm I'm really excited to see the other places. He's been working in recent history in the number of folks that are appreciating what Thatcher can do But like you said you know him. vaulter running buddies in ring confident so forth over W W in Germany Germany. You know each other. Well I don't know how many times they've faced off and that's that's actually I go my face. Maybe somebody's GONNA say. Oh W W they had seven thousand matches and it was a blood. Blood feud until they became buddies. I but I know they're trained together so many times I mean they're gonNA know each other incredibly well. I think it's one of those special matches that they're going to have a stage that they can do do whatever they WANNA do. You know so it's not like there's going to be some sort of time constraints there's not going to be. Oh Hey you can't go grapple as you want to grapple I expected to be definitely hard hitting as you pointed pointed out And there are two tough dudes. I don't see either one back down legitimately and the best part is it's not titles so you can't just assume oh well it's the WB United Kingdom champion Napkin so he's defending his championship won't have Wbz United Kingdom Championship title. Change in Lavonia. Well there's no title on the line so I'm incredibly excited for that match the.

"He took to ails what you say. He played it well now. You always tell me Pat. Mahomes can't play defense although but what I tell you mahomes play their Iraqi won the game. I have heard that before but now we're just waiting to see what does well. We guys hey we got plenty. Should the browns already worried about Odell Beckham Odell Beckham Junior had an eye opening interview G. Q. Magazine the writer market the Green was here in studio with us yesterday and Odell talked about his famous catch against the cowboys his emotions on and off the field why he's happier now in Cleveland and that he felt quote disrespected when he was traded by the giants so Shannon. What was your biggest takeaway now with the article reinforce? What I thought about Odeal Odell is about himself? He's a guy that did things to get attention and when people look at him he says I leave me alone gift. He died his hair. He died his hair for particular reason. He got all these tattoos. He dresses a certain way. I have no problem with this but don't tell me you don't want attention his behavior the thing that ah annoys me most about today's athlete especially football players is that when they exhibit behavior that I don't think is conducive for winning is because I want to win so bad so let me get straight Shannon Sharpe often elway's the Aikman the San they want to win. This winning. Thing just came along when you guys came alone so that's why of acting out like this this kick in the mid business while I'm getting penalties because I want to win so bad that I that's the part of it learning learning how to channel those emotions. That's what we always tell guys. Take the emotion out of it bro well. There's a double standard if Tom Brady when Tom Brady start getting penalties on the field that cost his team then I'm GonNa say you know what Odell you're right right. I get it I get the passionate and sometimes they say well. That's passionate and that's a he's been disrespectful and he's a malcontent. I get all that but Tom Brady isn't causing his team. Penalties oldies with behavior on the field. That's the problem that I have with all the all. This told you that catch a toy. The kids change lives. You gotta get that simple out there. The fact of the matter was all their life changed was he realized everybody was talking about how he went from one hundred he whipper and he mentioned in the article how you went from one hundred this many of the one hundred and then two hundred thousand any like wait a minute but we lost. I don't need to win. I can be me lose but then he said in the article the haters all said Yeah but you lost that game well yeah you did skill. That's another thing in tell people so now telling the truth is do if you tell all Eugene. Hey Nah you love you did lose. It was unbelievable. Remember our always calling this. One two days can be true. That was a hell of a catchall Dale but you did lose that game. Both all things are true. True didn't learn anything else I mean he. He poured his soul out. I don't care either. I don't care about you going to concerts. I don't care about you're going to pairs. I don't care about you going to Vegas. All I'm going to talk about you'll behavior on that field. Your behavior on the field is not conducive to you winning championships okay so before I unleash on all this I wanNA thank once again. My friend Mark Anthony Green in for joining us yesterday and he made very clear against the writer this piece in the interviewer on this piece that that G. Q. wanted to give Odell the platform to speak his heart in mind without threat. You know we're it was straight straight Q._N._A.. There was no let's put this in context or whatever or take it out of context. It's just boom boom boom boom boom boom quote quote quote right and I think mark warmed up an in got him in a place where he he showed you exactly.

"It is that time of year once again you know time for people to freak out about an interview that NFL players done during the off season and for today's round it is Odell Beckham junior he did a conversation in an interview with GQ magazine he talked about being traded by the giants giants fans if there is still any of you left brace yourselves in this conversation with mark Anthony green Beckham was asked about the moment that he was traded by New York el what went through his mind quote my initial reaction was not disappointment I felt dis respected end of quote so how's that feel giants fan how much more do you want to hate this guy now wait don't answer not yet because there's more that came from a lot more and if you're looking for a reason to hate even more on him you're about to get it Odell Beckham went on quote like after everything I've done for them this is me being honest this team is not being good for the last six years even the year we went to the playoffs and everyone was talking about this and that and we went there and I didn't have a great playoff game don't get me wrong I had a terrible game but I left the game was seven targets and I'm supposed to be your number one receiver I left the game with seven targets we lost they scored forty points it's just all bad end quote and there's even more quote I felt disrespected because I felt like I was a main reason at keeping that brand alive they were getting prime time games still as of five eleven team why because people want to see the show they want to see me play that's just real rap I'm not sitting here like it's because of me but let's just be real that's why we're still getting primetime games I felt disrespected they weren't even man enough to even sit me down to my face and tell me what's going on end quote in other words I'm not saying it's because of me I'm saying it's because of me and you might be right thanks Vance you may hate to hear that you made me hate the guy but no this he's not wrong for not tuning in to C. E. ally they were not getting primetime exposure because of it E. lie there were tuning in for del he was keeping that brand alive and when asked about who they who they are Beckham made that clear to quote the GM in all forever have respect for Mister mera everything he's ever done for me he show nothing but love even when we were having our talks it was coming from a place of love I can always feel it so all forever have respect for him but then to be called like that and then be tested by your coach and be like oh yeah I heard the news yeah you heard the news it happened because the you'll the reason I'm gone is because of you it was just tough because of the way initially it felt on the other side of it I was excited because when you start because I had been honestly I've been praying to god this is before this season for a change end quote all right so there's a lot of ways to go with this first off back come is in a better spot he's in a better spot with a better team a better quarterback and a better organization yeah I said it all better organization because you look at the Browns in the last twelve months they've got a plan and a vision what about the giants they signed Odell Beckham junior to a new contract less than a year ago and then they traded him that is not the sign of a great plan or great vision but if he's in a better situation why does he feel disrespected simple anybody gets traded feels disrespected it's never a compliment to be traded even if you're going to a better spot it's a sign that the team where you had been playing didn't want you anymore so of course you're gonna feel disrespected of course you guys offended and the reason it felt personal is because it was personal that's a team telling one of its best player is ever in his prime a year after they gave him a huge deal we don't want you we don't need you were actually better off without you Chris got feel disrespected who wouldn't listen there's never been a player in the history of the world in any sport who got traded who didn't feel disrespected that's your team saying we don't want you around some kind of wish with him saying that even if he's in a better situation now he was then he knows that he appreciates that but it doesn't change the bottom line they gave up on him the ship is **** out of there and they decided they were better off without him then they were with him yes he felt disrespected and giants fans I hate to bring up a really painful subject and I don't have to re hashes trade all over again but I guess we're going to have to do that because I know you want to come in here with your argument the dell was a big distraction in fact is it's a bad argument now like it was a bad argument then no there was that span that the giants put out after the parade I spend so obvious and I do see I told you so but I predicted it the day before it happened if you'll remember it was after that trade that according to rob FAQ Yano of S. and why the move quote was absolutely not a football decision and quote that according to a source and then there's this from a source quote he had become too much of a pain in the **** and there was a real fear that eventually would get worse and quote all right fine sure whatever you say he was a pain in the **** me ask you this if this guy was that much of a pain in the **** why did you sign him to a five year deal only a few months earlier when exactly did he become quote too much of a pain in the **** right now I know you're trying to run in here with this so let me get in front of this when did this happen was it when he had that bizarre thing with the field on that that was back in twenty sixteen or yeah Hey Rome how about that fight with Josh Norman you have got that fight with Josh Norman that was twenty fifteen Hey Rome how about that boat trip before that playoff game right twenty seventeen the contract extension was August of twenty eighteen the giants knew all this they saw all these things and they still decided to give him a big contract a contract and then they moved him just a few months later so what happened between now and then the one thing that did happen after the extension was that sit down with Lil Wayne but you really gonna tell me you're gonna trade the best wide receiver in team history because of one thing he said in an interview with the wine seriously if you're a serious sports organization and you can't handle the fallout from receiver talking a little Wayne then that's on you not on the receiver trading back come did not make you lie manning any younger and it did make the eventual draft pick of Daniel Jones see many smarter is back I'm told GQ quote I felt like I moved past my past I really felt like why did we even sign this contract what did we signed this for that's what I felt during the season why did we do this deal to not feel long term because I don't feel like you all are still wanted me to be here long term during the season I could feel it during the season I would be up and down the sideline saying that like why did you sign me I could have just not done this at all and quote thanks to the god feel like that he knew it didn't feel right after they signed him and sure enough he was right they moved him so he felt like he moved past is past not much of the giants had moved past is passed or past their past which is even stranger when you sign into a contract to pay him twenty one male half the guaranteed money in the first year and then traded him nice work everybody so I can understand why the guy feel disrespected nobody wants to be traded and if your competitor that's got to eat at you and it's got a fuel you but the people who've really been disrespected here the people who really been disrespected more than Odell Beckham junior all the giants fans themselves because they just watched the best receiver in team history get traded and none of the explanations then or since have made sense believe me he is better off without you but you're not better off without him no matter how many times you tell yourself you are no matter how many times you tell yourself how big of a distraction he was the team do all that and they still signed him yeah I'm still trying to figure out why that is if you were such big distraction I don't I promise this and the Browns are gonna be fine with the potential distractions with the bulls eye on their back with the expectations and with everybody looking at them I am still all in on the Browns to restore America's team they solve America's quarterback this twelve America's coach and it says here back on what will once again become America's receiver in that situation yeah I'm rolling the dice but it doesn't feel like a gamble to me I love these guys I am all in Hey hawk that's the wake up talk would you like here your screen up because hawks like yeah man you get in this take anytime soon their boss wake up wake up wake up wake up park wake up let's go to Kansas city more reaction to the inaugural jungle open which was played in Omaha Nebraska JJ in KC J. what's up how are you Ronnie van smack brother thanks for the call on that are they say Michael eight this thing reminded me of the Kansas city tour stop back in the day it had that Max level of fun it was just a big start to finish there is so much sports talkin smack in moves and bear is great and yeah I think I had more beers I lost golf balls I think that's a win for me and just because of the stage here we had the speaker's going on the golf carts everywhere I know I caught up on the podcast you talk Berman that was so epic I am hoping the boy the CBS sports radio would put that picture of of flights will wonder sign in us with cardboard Romy it was great I'm definitely coming back for the twenty twenty one because if I can beyond the courthouse in action these guys and maybe taken L. online and trying to win a little money that way that was even better the only downside is Sunday got rained out here in Omaha and I can just imagine the carnage that would have happened if we played one more day but Hey the stores next year rami piece was done a nice job JJ would represent close at a great time from what I can remember he said you know what room is just like the case he tore stop back in the day JJ just like it except there were fifteen thousand people at that in fifteen of you in Omaha that's alright though JJ you're not that good you are JJ well done the giants fan is not agree with what I said it just says we watch the giants because we're giants fans photos so happy to be gone then why does he keep talking about him the giants haven't mentioned him they were bad with him they could be bad without him Tim up from the NYC the timber giants found I could say I feel about it your giants fan you feel the way you feel somebody say you're wrong I'm a say y'all need him more than he need geo he's gonna be just fine and why is he talking about because he did interview GQ magazine asked him that's why yeah I think the the thing about that too they're gonna lift the really hot quotes I think you have to read the entire article and see the contact with what he said what he said Jim dopey lie in his oversized helmet haven't been this upset since the locker room Bali took his juice box sign you in west LA.

We'll get back to you in a minute was Kennel Matthews quiz question. If the callers don't come through today. I haven't watched evolved show yet what matches on it or must see. I'm wondering how many people saw that show because it seems to be like the hardest obviously hardcore fans and obviously you know they are going to be the ones that what's evolved show but I would've figured with all the attention that was taking place that more people would have been kind of buzzing about especially because it was so much good stuff on that show in some ways it was like the best the worst of of India wrestling and that God bless her soul. She's been on this show. shotsie black art was certainly going out of her way to get noticed by sending herself headfirst into things whether it be the guard rail or for a stack of chairs outside the ring not the best ideas <hes> put on display in that match but there is a lot of good stuff do a lot of good stuff. I think I mentioned it yesterday. Our tour who us in Anthony Henry had what was a fun basically broke down into a fight at the end. I thought that was really cool. You know I'm not super huge on Josh Briggs but obviously evolve is in the way he played himself out throughout the show being the book end of the show L. Basically I I know Colin. Tazawa were were the main event but as far as the evolve portion of the proceedings <hes> Briggs defeating Anthony Green to start the show and then standing in there at the end after the lights who went out came back up with Austin theory. I thought it was it was kind of weird how they did it wasn't like I don't think it was like super memorable impactful or anything like that it was you know the Briggs video played and that was Kinda. Hit and Briggs did his nine one one impression by choke slamming Austin in theory. No it wasn't super smooth or anything like that but the hell you know it's it's it's evolved one thirty one at the main event at Wrestlemainia so when you take a look at that I think he planned itself out nicely. Theory Drake was a good match. I like J._D.. Drake you know he's not he's one of those guys you know Vince Looks Adam and need be A._B.. Trevor Morocco or whatever but you know what there's a place in my world for the Trevor Murdoch's in J._d.. Drake is one of those guys. I like him a lot. He lost his W._W._f.. Title which which I think is superfluous at this point anyway awesome theory through the belt to the side afterwards and and technically he the evolve and W._w._f.. Champion although I guess really the evolve belt is the only one that matters there but that was a really nice matches well to in you know theory's been around for a couple years and he is just so young and so good already so you know good stuff there. The catch boy reunion matches the one. That's getting all the attention Matt Riddle Drulak by fifty minutes at thing when it was awesome I mean it was exactly see you expect you know they both did the catch point..

"Four hundred thousand headstones at Arlington National Cemetery will receive a flag from the old guard the internet, which Senator cotton serve between his deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan about what she writes the old guard and such loving and perfect detail in his new book, sacred duty. He's going to be at the Nixon library on may twenty ninth and I'm going to be with them flying out to California at the end of this week. So I can welcome Tom cotton to the Nixon library. If you wanna come see that event, just Google. Nixon foundation, Tom cotton, and it will come up and get a ticket. I'm sure we'll sell out to go get it early, you get a book, along with a ticket, and he'll sign books there even if we have to. Him there. All night, long here Senator cotton talking about sacred duty back now with the United States, Senator, Tom cotton, tell you about his brand new bestseller sacred duty soldiers tour at Arlington National Cemetery. There are a couple of counts in sacred duty that will surprise people Senator cotton the details. We've been over will continue to go over, but strange missions arise. For example, when secretary palm pale went negotiated returns of the remains of fifty five Korean war American veterans that required extraordinary operation. The old guard actually advised on what you recount that in some detail, right? And sacred duty in the summer of two thousand eighteen the United States and South Korea received several dozen sets of unknown. Unidentified remains many of those are still being sorted out central laboratory in Hawaii right now. But there had to be very large dignified. Transfer of remains performed for all of those transfer cases as I write sacred duty general vents Brooks, who was then the. The commander of US forces Korea has his own honor guard. It is both American and Koreans got all the services represented in it as well. They do a lot of mission to they'd never done emission like this, especially aircrafts transfers. But the old guard has lots because of our role at Dover air force base, in the dignified, transfer remains shelters so general Burke said he put in a call of experts to the old guard and they'll to very best soldiers, captain. Zach Kennedy who is the regimental ceremonial expert and sergeant first class Brian bus pompous, former Jill sergeant combat veteran and a casket platoon sergeant for mild company. Charlie company. So they bought airplane tickets and hopped on airplanes and the capital region of fly over to Seoul with really out any guidance at all. I mean, the only got was implied, you'll be helpful 'cause no one had ever done anything like this. And they got on the ground immediately started working with that honor, guard, and they worked pretty steadily around the clock for about three days to make sure that the honor guard and for us forces Korea was. Fully fully prepared. They had laid out a plan. They had done rehearsals to make sure that that's once in a lifetime dignified transfer of all those remains most of your listeners can probably remember seeing that tarmac. And unload on the plane was conducted to the standard the exact same even though there was a massive unanticipated breakdown. That's what I think, in sacred duty comes through there. They, they immediately advised on how to cope. So reveal the behind the scenes story. Here's the it took two sets of two aircrafts to carry all this remains back to ally after the cameras stopped rolling the aircraft ready to depart, one of the aircraft had an engine failure general Brooks said, you know, look, this is always a possibility with your aircraft. We had a backup aircraft to go. There's never even questioned though there was going to be another dignified transfer just like the ones they've conducted for the cameras, even though the cameras were not rolling. This is a classic ethos of the elgar is even when no one's watching. They're still. Going to form up to that standard of perfection to honor our nation's fallen heroes. So they had not rehearsed on transferring, the remains often aircraft because they were only transfer transferring them onto the aircraft but they got together, sergeant dust pompous and captain Kennedy with the Korean honor, guard and develop a hasty plan and did some quick rehearsals. And as I write and sacred duty book said they nailed it, everybody perform perfectly. They couldn't have done it without that assist from they'll guard soldiers. That's they were there to do about that subject. Matter expertise as the world's leading experts when it comes to military honor funerals for the dignified transfer I would as an employer. I would hire anyone who'd come through the old guard if they were within one hundred yards of the requirements of job. I mean sometimes you gotta be translator. You can't be a translator, but just the ethic of perfectionism I think it's a burden. I think that's true of any veteran, but especially these young soldiers at the old guard. I mean, I tell implore all the time, you know. Can't hire someone who's not trying to architect, the architect. But if you if your job requires any kind of leadership or management just attention to detail responsibility. Teamwork discipline, you need to get a soldier and I'd say that about old guard soldiers as well. And I think a lot of people who read the book will take away some inspiration for their own life. Maybe they didn't serve. Maybe they weren't quite enough to meet the guard standards. But that ethos of excellence, always aiming for the standard affection is something that we can all apply couple of mazing soldiers in here, who simply would not give up and their spouses, also kicked him in the to make them not give up their as many as you served with as many as you went back. The Senator is served as a Lieutenant right or a captain, but they didn't know difference either way. So I made a lot of great soldiers over the last year. It was good to be back among soldiers more often in around politicians often, I'll say that. But some of the soldiers are truly inspiring. You know there's one. Now sergeant Antonio Garcia. That's the guy specialist arsia. He earned his badge tomb of the unknown soldier faster than almost anyone can remember about five months. Normally it takes about nine to twelve months. He was voluntary old third degree to go to the tomb he'd wanted to go to ranger school. But as I sergeant said Garcia, you're gonna go the taming do great. You can go to ranger school as well. And his attitude is I always give hundred ten percent and I, I never fail. And that's one reason why he succeeded so quickly as he was working every single day. Not taking days off, as you say, his wife Gina helped a lot as well. They put the kids to bed at night. He went back to shining shoes or shining, scabbard. And she was there quizzing him on the seventeen pages of knowledge he had to get, and as I write and sacred duty, he did end up getting his ranger tab, and airborne wings. Now, what I don't say sacred duty to give you a behind the writing process is I interviewed him and got to know him and wrote that chapter before he went to ranger school. So I told him. Before he went I've already written chapter. I've always said, you graduate school first time in the fall two thousand eighteen so don't let me down. He did not let me down. And he won't let any American down. He's over in Italy right now with hundred seventy third airport when we come back to talk about the next segment on our Sigrid duty tour about the uniform because this is something that I know would mean I could never have ever ever been near this place. Stay tuned. Tom cotton comes back in the next segment that we talk about sacred duty. Senator Tom cotton back tomorrow and everyday. All I'm gonna try and get everyone aware of flag in day and get them aware of the book sacred duty a marvelous raid, fetchy. Mrs Hewitt blue through it before I read it and then I read it everyone's gonna love. It's not a political book. It's a book about the best country, men and women in the military in those pay the ultimate price and how we take care of them and the old guard does that let me bring up to speed on what's going on in Australia. Remember, Nostra you have one hundred fifty four seats in their parliament. And in seventy six to have the majority, you really need. Seventy seven. The majority. And right now, the ABC election, computer, I think that means the Australian Broadcasting company is predicting the coalition conservative coalition secured majority government with at least seventy seven seats as the conservatives called liberal party down under, but it's the conservatives appear set to secure bass, Chisholm, Boothby, and Wentworth. The Wentworth and before that they had been held by the opposite parties. And the expert says, Anthony green, as far as I'm concerned the numbers to come. Bass will be the seventy six seat for the conservatives postals and absent vote favor, the coalition bassin. They're already had their at some time today, baffled tick over to become the seventy six seat delivering the government majority. Green said he also expected Chisholm would become the seventy seven seat with Boothby and Wentworth already in the liberal camp. The coalition of a certain seventy-five bass will be seventy six and Chisholm looks likely to be seventy seven and seventy eight is a possibility with Macari MacQuarie that, that is in doubt. So it has been over there, liberal candidate. Dave Shurmur has been locked in a nail biting too close to call contest with Dr felt for the second time just seven months in windward. But this time, Mr. Sharma looked to prevail in the seat. Once held by Malcolm Turnbull. Dr Phelps is conceded with eighty percent of the vote counted. So they're slow like, we are so, you know, it's like when on election day, last fall, we didn't quite know that the Democrats had won forty we knew they went thirty five this time, the, the late breakers are breaking for the conservatives that they're going to be running the country for another three years. Thank goodness. And their prime minister's Scott Morrison, and he is a terrific ran on tax cuts, and helping millennials buy their.

So general Burke said he put in a call of experts to the old guard, and they'll sent to very best soldiers captains at Kennedy, who is the regimental ceremonial expert and start first class, Brian dust, pompous, former drill sergeant combat veteran and a casket platoon. Sergeant for my old company, Charlie company. So they bought airplane tickets and hopped on airplanes and the capital region to fly over to Seoul with really out any guidance at all. I mean, the only guy that was implied, you'll be helpful because no one had ever done anything like this, and they got on the ground immediately started working with that honor, guard, and they worked pretty steadily around the clock for about three days to make sure that the honor guard in for us forces Korea was fully re. Fully prepared. They had laid out a plan. They had done rehearsals to make sure that that's once in a lifetime. Dignified transfer of all those remains that most of your listeners can probably remember saying that tarmac and unload onto the plane was conducted to the standard the exact same, even though there was a massive unanticipated breakdown. That's what I think, in sacred duty comes through as they, they immediately advised on how to cope. So reveal the behind the scenes story. Here is the it took two sets of two aircrafts to carry. All this remains back to. Hawaii after the cameras stopped rolling aircraft ready to depart. One of the aircraft had an engine failure general Brooks said, look, this is always a possibility. When you're aircraft at backup aircraft to go. There's never even questioned that there was going to be another dignified transfer just like the one safe conducted for the cameras even though the cameras were not rolling. And this is a classic ethos of the elgar is even when no one's watching. They're still going to form up to that standard of perfection to honor our nation's fallen heroes. So they had not rehearsed on transferring, the remains often aircraft because they were only transferred transferring them under the aircraft but they got together, sergeant dust pompous, and captain Kennedy with the free and honor guard, and develop the hasty plan and did some quick rehearsals. And as I write and sacred duty general book said they nailed it. Everybody performed perfectly. They couldn't have done it without assist from the old guard soldiers, but that's what they were there to do that subject matter expertise as the world's leading experts when it comes to military honor funerals with the dignified traits. I would as an employer, I would hire anyone who'd come through the old guard if they were within one hundred yards of the requirements of job. I mean, sometimes you got to be translator. You can't be a translator, but just the ethic of perfectionism. I think it's a burden. I think that's true of any veteran, but especially these young soldiers at the old guard. I mean, I tell employees all the time, you know, look, I can't hire someone who's not trying to architect be an architect. But if you if your job requires any kind of leadership or management just tension detail responsibility teamwork, discipline, you need to get a soldier and I'd say about old guard soldiers as well. And I think a lot of people who read the book what kind of take away some inspiration for their own life. Maybe they didn't serve. Maybe they weren't quite enough to meet bell guard standards. But that ethos of excellence, always aiming for the standard faction is something that we can all apply couple of mazing soldiers in here, who simply would not give up and their spouses, also kicked him in the vet to make them not give up their as many as you served with as many as you went back as Senator you served as a Lieutenant. Right. Or a captain, but they didn't know difference. Either way. So I made a lot of great soldiers over the last year. It was good to be back among soldiers more often in around politicians. Less often. I'll say that. But some soldiers are truly inspiring. You know, there's one now sergeant Antonio Garcia. That's the guy specialist arsia. He earned his badge of the unknown soldier faster than almost anyone can remember about five months. Normally it takes about nine to twelve months. He was volunteered to degree to go to the tomb. He wanted to go to ranger school. But as I sergeant said Garcia, you're gonna go the Tammy can do great and you can go to ranger school as well. And his attitude is I always get one hundred ten percent, and I never fail. And that's one reason why he succeeded. So quickly as he was working every single day. Not taking days off, as you say, his wife Janette. Helped a lot as well. They put the kids to bed at night. He went back to shining shoes or shining, scabbard. And she was there quizzing him on the seventeen pages of knowledge he had to get, and as I write and sacred duty, he did end up getting his ranger tab, and his airborne wings. Now, what I don't say sacred duty to give you a behind the writing process is I interviewed him and got to know him and wrote that chapter before he went to ranger school. So I told him before he went I've already written your chapter, and I've always said, you graduate school first time in the fall two thousand eighteen so don't let me down. He did not let me down. And he won't let any American down. He's over in Italy right now with hundred seventy third airport when we come back right talk about the next segment on our sacred duty tour about the uniform because this is something that I know would mean I could never have ever ever been near this place. Stay tuned. Tom cotton comes back in the next segment that we talk about sacred duty Senator, Tom cotton back tomorrow, and everyday, all, I'm going to try and get everyone aware of flag in day and get them aware of the book sacred duty a marvelous rate. Fetchy. Mrs Hewitt blue through it before I read it and then I read it everyone's gonna love. It's not a political book book about the best country, men and women in the military, and those pay the ultimate price. And how we take care of them and the old guard. Does that let me bring up to speed on what's going on in Australia? Remember, Nostra you have one hundred fifty four seats in their parliament and in seventy six have the majority, you really need seventy seven. Have the majority. And right now, the ABC election, computer, I think that means yesterday in broadcasting company is predicting the coalition conservative coalition, secured majority government with at least seventy seven seats as the conservatives called liberal party down under, but it's the conservatives appears set to secure bass Chisholm, Boothby, and Wentworth. The Wentworth and before that they have been held by the opposite party. And the expert says, Anthony green, as far as I'm concerned the numbers to come bass. We'll be the seventy six seat for the conservatives postals and apps and vote favor. The coalition bassin they're already had their at some time today. Basle took over to become the seventy six seat delivering the government majority. Green said he also expected Chisholm would become the seventy seven seat with Boothby and Wentworth already in the liberal, count the coalition of a certain seventy-five bass will be seventy six and Chisholm looks likely to be seventy seven and seventy eight is a possibility with Macari MacQuarie, but that is in doubt. So it has been over there, liberal candidate. Dave Sherman has been locked in a nail biting too close to call contest with Dr felt for the second time just seven months and Wentworth. But this time, Mr. Sharma looked prevail in the seat once held by Malcolm Turnbull. Dr Phelps is conceded with eighty percent of the vote counted. They're slow like we are. So, you know, it's like when on election day, last fall, we didn't quite know that the Democrats at one forty we knew they went thirty five this time, the, the late breakers breaking for the conservatives that they're going to be running the country for another three years. Thank goodness and their prime minister Scott Morrison, and he is a terrific. He ran on tax cuts, and helping millennials buy their.
Are there deep global oceans beyond earth?
"Have good reason to predict that deep global liquid water oceans exists beyond earth thinking about that think about the role of of our ocean here on earth in our biosphere. Now, imagine an ocean that's ten times as deep as ours and global covered in ice potentially with harder thermal vents, and all sorts of interesting chemistry occurring in it. Could it be inhabited? Could there be life microbial or even larger swimming around in that ocean today? Where there's water there's usually like to find out if life might exist that the edges of our solar system. We've I have to get there, and then somehow access the deep hidden waters of these foreign world, that's where robots and other technologies come in when we design these robotic vehicles to go down to the surface sample the surface and ultimately drill or melt through the shell itself. We need to understand what that kind of upper region of Europe is ice looks like feels like and how it behaves Europa one of Jupiter's moons. Planetary scientists think it could have a massive ocean beneath. It's frozen crust. What's really cool about it? Is that on the outside of that moon has about fifteen to thirty kilometer ice shelves overlaying one hundred kilometer ocean? When we look at Europa, we can see evidence of cracks along the surface. We can see salt deposits in these things we think reflected the chemistry of the ocean below to prepare for such a harsh environment. Scientists are training in a place. Not so far. From home, but every bit as alien and Artika. From the Wall Street Journal. This is the future of everything. I'm Anthony green. And article is the coldest and least habitable place on earth. The Wall Street Journal Daniel Hernandez traveled there to meet a robotics team led by Brittany Schmidt. From the Georgia institute of technology. You have to be on your toes about almost everything. And so it's actually kind of a constant battle to keep on top of what's happening. The environment itself can change very quickly. The internet is slow or non-existent phones. Don't really work down here. You know, there's not the normal creature comforts even the ability to really kind of escape from that. So it changes the way the operate is a person. And so you're monitoring all of those things in addition to you know, highly detailed robotics, Bernice group is prototyping technologies that could one day. Help us pro distant planets and moons for signs of life. We drove out on snowmobiles to a section of sea ice blink bike glacier on one side. And a massive iceberg on the other. Think we're having us welcome. It's pretty beautiful out here accolades. Sure is yes. It's so beautiful this whole thing. Right. It's this side and the other side, so we're going to kind of go around and try to figure out if any of its floating or if the whole thing is grounded, which means it's laying on the seafloor. And then maybe do some fun. Check out of the iceberg because we haven't done that yet. But I wanted to work out here since twenty twelve and it's just the right time to be able to take a vehicle out there. It's performing really, well, we've got a few days left of of not too many cracks in the ice too. Many cracks in the ice make dangerous for them to work in the field. Our main science questions here this. How does the ocean affect the ice and vice versa? It's not very well known even here on the earth. And then when we moved to places like Jupiter Zeman Europa, we don't really know how that whole thing will operate and so by asking these questions here, we get really good at measuring them and thinking about the processes. To do that her team is testing underwater robot high spend, the twelve foot machine is bright yellow and looks like a torpedo is Finn is a hybrid autonomous and remotely operated underwater vehicle or an HR V. And what it's basically doing is measuring the properties of the water column the ice and the sea floor and searching for biological communities as well. This one is also a platform for testing sensors, and technology and science questions for future. Exploration of other planets predominantly were interested in icy moons of two bitter and Saturn in this case. Europa our primary target the grand scheme of the project is to develop this vehicle as something that we would want to send to of Europa and look for life there. So we basically have as small of a vehicle as possible with as much scientific instrumentation on it as we possibly can. I'm Chad Ramey. Grads. Student at the Georgia institute of technology, and I write software for Iceland. While we hear an Antarctica. This is the closest analogue we have to Europa, but we're interested in science. So how is is forming and melting and what does the chemistry of the water looked like and how many dissolved organic matter are in the water, what are the oxygen levels. So we'll be putting the robot in the water for three deployments today. We're really interested in the grounding line. So where the glacier actually departs from the ground and starts floating on the water. And then also we have this massive iceberg that we're going to drive the robot up to and have a look at because I spur are awesome. The grounding line is important because it can impact how stable a glacier is it's one of the places melting occurs. So when are you guys gonna launch? So now, we're getting ready for our first full systems test. We'll go through each of our sensors make sure they're all operating who make sure all of our thrusters are good. And then we'll be ready to go. And we all like to have some pizza before him though. As they're getting ready to put ice fin. In the water was small full in the ice. It's hoisted vertical in a stand and attached to other. Coordinates?
