"We need to know. Okay the next one I think it's coming in from was that King I mean. Say Yes it is. Of Essex, he's in Newark new. Jersey says peace champ who. Says you got Mike Tyson or Roy Jones and Y. You. Hold Up. Hold. Up Let me manage complicated question. Let me, stretch. Off. Listen I'm happy I am very happy that these two a are at this age will to make millions. You know what I'm saying like on real you know I'm I'm very happy that now with that being said, I'm might domestic money. With that being said that s not same Tyson. So I mean and you know what I mean from from that we know and and I see people in this good get excited. I'm excited pay for C. Too. But realized that ain't that Mike Tyson Tyson ain't the animal used to be. Now he's a changed man. You know what? I'm saying is different and you can tap back into that a little bit but not that Mike was a mafia savage. That's the Mike that we know went and we shouldn't expect that might own expect that much Roy Jones after the Kale. And I respect Roy man, that's what I do but really the wind blow to our. In a fight man is. In his legs is gone. You know so. I look at it like this. I'm leaning fifty I'm leaning. Towards Roy Jones though why? Listen. Bro Listen. I'm leaning a little bit towards Roy. All overall say. The. Man Roy should not be trying to get in there and mingle and mix with Mike Tyson. You should not be fighting this Roy show box. If Roy can keep the boxing, he won't get knocked out and that's the only way Mike's beating unless my kissing would with hard shot 'cause I mean I've watched some Roy's later fights Roy Once he gets buzz he's buzzed. Europe. San is ongoing buzz. He's asked up. So Mike can catch you in a good shot in Roy the might mic getting or decision but I see Roy I see Roy out boxing you. Box I can't believe you can't believe that Roy even though I said to myself, I. I said to myself Tyson been out of the ring for so long it might just be that much easier for Roy but do you believe do you believe Tyson when he says he's going to seek and destroy the knockout is he's taken it even though it's supposed to be an exhibition. At can label it. Whatever they want. Exhibition smacks of Bishen. In whatever? So. You don't turn into a real is. Real fight. Let me. Ask you this is. Steve it's sparring real fight. L.. Yes farms especially. When? Guys from the concrete jungle Nasim's guys we know each other. So that's not a fight we were GONNA. They get some cleaners art you know. But if those come from another gentleman, we respond as a real fight us. Quarterly. Young me. So for people to say on his just exhibition day, not train like is the next submission. In. End is money on the table these people what they pay for. So there's no doubt in my mind that they're gonNA get out there and they're not gonNA get perform. Yeah. They're going to do the think these are legends not just champions their legend seal signed liberal forever leading they know how to do this and they're going to get into it and the competition in champion it no matter if we plant checkers no matter if we raise that's competition beach you. Envision. Exhibition. Chant before we. Before we move forward to any of the questions, can you just give out again, the address where people could get the shirts to support the amateurs in your gym and getting them to the or the sugar burt. Oh yeah no doubt USS Fight Academy. On instagram and facebook. You can come in and check the polls look at the polls it put it up yesterday It's the one on close of getting the DM. Is it the one that says second batch shirts and hats in right? All right. I'm screen sharing. Now for the people watching on Youtube live were screen sharing. Now these are the hats. These are the fitted ideas you can see and these are the shirts. Do. You have any other posts like wearing because those are just on the desk. You get on right now. Not This is the older one I'll put it up. I'll put up right after this show up, I was going to do it anyway today we got about fifteen lifts. So so how many kids you get into the tournament altogether how many? How many? I seven man is about seven of us. All going. I got like firefighters in in No six fires myself. So I'm the only coach do so we're we're what we do. We've got money from sponsor we get spicer wanted kids. Father's owns the oil company. So he he sponsored our flights. Great. Shot beautiful and so we we got the flights which does raise money for AIRBNB because instead of getting hotel home, which is get the Air BNB, which hotel room and and we need full money. Let's. Kick some. Take names and bring back some belts assault trophies. You know that's the goal. Go. What's your oldest fighter? My oldest fighter juice uses twenty-four. Juices twenty four and he wants to go pro. He's GonNa do about. He wants to do about ten damage vising. Dip His toes in the pro ranks. Is Pretty Good. Only the thing with the Amas as you got as a coach, we have to instill that confidence in. You know what I'm saying because he's he's pretty damn good. "The earthquake in Brooklyn says, Hey, coach thanks for coming on the show over the years. It seems Danny and or his team have disregarded. His weakness is slow fee low punch output. No. Cutting off the ring in favor of his strips timing counterpunching. One Shot Power I believe is best performance was against Matisse where he moved and punched. Will we see that version against spence salute one, hundred emoji. Salute. I think that. I think that if Aveiro spent. Presses Dan than we can see that see the reason he was able to do that against Matisse acres was come forward guys. So it both that style out of Danny I think Danny knows how to box pretty well, he's a pretty successful amateur boxer I think that he knows how to box I think that you know you know. Just I think that Danny can do those things. You just have to bring amount in. Danny you know what I'm saying I think Danny is capable of those things where they have to get out. Any. I agree I think that there's some things that can be improved with Danny that I believe he really has the capability to do I love to work with Danny. If I had the chance, you know what I'm saying but you know it's like It is what it is. You know what? I mean. He's been sick. That's the problem with success. You know what I mean I think Teddy Atlas said it once he said the worst thing you can do is is not a guy down in the first round with a punch because then you think you're going to get the down every time. It's Kinda the same thing when you when you win and fights a certain way you get into a mobile, you keep doing the same thing because it's working and you don't work on your flaws and the next thing you know you're at the world championship level, it's too late you. All right we have Jiang's `bout does from San Antonio Texas Angel, and Danny make a great father son team we have another. SET OF FATHER SON teams coming against each other in team Loma versus team a female who got winning that fight and why if and when that fight happens. And Look. At the bet, the house, some will Loma. As a man is coming in here talking about knockout from Danny who hasn't knocked out a welterweight in ages you you ain't picking by not cow after Lee, not his put him down and build Rasa made him look like a Pepperoni face. A. Down Right now, I'm little though they got me as a resident Loma hate I pick up pixeleted to beat them. So I just feel like I should pick a against them every time since the I mean look Lohman Shaneco man he's a proven guy I just think that Lopez has more to prove and now from what I'm seeing that a money dispute, this is his big opportunity like if you really want to go out there and take whatever they put on the table, go ahead, knock this out. Hell No. No not, giving him whatever they offer them. Good money listen. Hold on. Don't even hell. Don't even listen you work with seven. So we don't put. I don't WanNa I. Don't WanNa talk about is money. I don't want you to talk about his money, but we gotta put him in that situation. If seven was stood a champion, he was offered a unification with more than three belts. How is he going to take with? Would Devon Haney got for mandatory? How much Does the little. Female got. One. One Reysen unification unification because Vassil got like three like if it's your first title. Take short money like Devante Davis Day with Ben Rasa but now you're a And about the unify when you make money, you just keep taking short money. I'll know I mean I mean Listen. Is, does it give a take here? Is it give a take you I I see what you're saying. You. Choose coach is only one point pseudo. I. Listen. But you know you could beat somebody. And they're Lohman Chango. You Go and you beat that guy because what after that? There's no denying you know you still and there's no denying you after that. You write them then Lama Chink. Goes ahead and he does something else. There's always going be that hanging over your head. So it's a is it is a give and take in that situation lawmakers I go take. The money on the table, you never know now normal retired. So what? So, what happened with the happened? Riddick bowe and Lennox Lewis and listen Loma to one zero t o got his whole life ahead of them and. We talk about whom poets, who million for the biggest fight of your life and you outlaw almost literally longest though and Trying to slave him at one point sue debit Haney made a million to do a mandatory. A mandatory I. Listen to this wasn't it is Jesse. What one? A. Question. If say. Ness. Fuck you up own. Sorry Ejaz whatever. You. Come to my boxing tournament on Tuesday and I'm like hold on Tuesday don't work for me like dog I've been calling you out for the longest. You know what I'm saying I won't be calling somebody off for the longest and now in the present yourself I, you know what broke. Because just as Just, because I called you out, don't mean I'm GonNa take a crazy offer. I. Think I think that we we we we gotta just remember because we gotta understand that it is a boxing business to A. Pretty sure coach. I'm pretty sure you know you know these guys will fight each other if it was just like let's go now they're gonNA fight each other, but they gotta consider all the monies and the business and everything else that's involved with boxing just you know besides just the fighting aspect of it. Right. So when when we say that one point two million enough is is because we know that taxes and training fees, managerial fees, and promoters. Factor I'm factoring in Jesse Vargas getting. One Point Eight to Thomas. The law may but I'M GONNA fight Vassil off factoring in the fact that Eddie hearn just released the interview and he laughing saying, we'll Luke Campbell. Got More than two. Mandatory like I'm not fighting you then everybody else getting pay more than you I got an actual Bello. Bring nothing and made more than me. I got a belt and I got a fan base. Good. And I'm not trying to be disrespectful I'm just not a big follower to. City and I know he's a good fighter. Who has he fought Richard Komai. Stone cold.

Danny I Vassil Devon Haney Jesse Vargas Matisse Brooklyn Aveiro spence Teddy Atlas Lohman Shaneco Lohman Chango Eddie hearn Dan Riddick bowe Lama Chink San Antonio Texas Angel Richard Komai Jiang Thomas Devante Davis

"Let's just stop it there because everybody's probably seen this, and if you haven't, this is a clip that went viral of. Earl Spence, doing interviews in the Barclay Center and many insinuated that he might have been. Indulging in some alcoholic beverages before the interview. Looked like they were. So you know for. For Coach Anthony, he's like he's drunk here. So he'll be punchdrunk after the left Hook. So that's the first post that one caught my attention. Oh And I had missed these other two. Right. So we'll go back and we'll click the first two that he put input Danny Garcia vs spence who you got and I guess that's what led up to the video right? Because he's like feeling his followers out and he really gives very good retention. You see he's got seven hundred thumbs up on this. He gets good views on his videos his another one with almost fifteen hundred thumbs up or rather likes or whatever. And he says, can I ask a question? Why are so many people sleep Danny Garcia vs Earl Spencer and why do ya keep saying earl is too big. Paul's Danny hit like a Matra and is not the small guy by any means pause again not to add earl picked up. Early. Picked a hard fight to bounce back from after terrible car accident. This is not a fight to sleep and Danny Mark my words. Hashtag box online. So he saying don't sleep on this fight don't sleep on Danny Marcus words again, sounding more and more confident that he believes Dan is going to win. So then obviously the next poses him posting about drunk earl go next one is floyd in. Marquez himself. Then he posts us he says started off as a post now is turning into an interview. This Thursday nine thirty am tune in to the box voice and listen to my interview about Danny Versus Earl Hashtag box I just WanNa go ahead and thank him for that because so many other people we get on here they don't do that. That's kind of perfect and there's been no more because he knows that no need to put it on my platform. We're going to discuss it. It'll be out there to the world today in about eighteen minutes. But this is where this originated from and look I. I think that the Danie Earl fight is huge Everybody is really looking forward to this I. Don't think there's a big fight on the horizon unless you you know factor into your female vescio, which is falling apart. Right. We reported on it yesterday. So I don't know what is what on paper like what is done? That is big or Is, GONNA, produce. I don't know about excitement but anticipation, right like we're anticipating certain outcomes from. Earl versus Garcia. Listen verse make this point eight I'm starting to see more and more people come out for Danny like you know I remember we read the Steve Kim thing right a and it was like kind of shocking to see but it seems like more and more people are coming after Danny. I, I don't know I just don't see it that way or other Oh. Yeah we're. Yeah. Okay. WHOA. Whoa you don't see them. Coming after them or you mean, are they picking? Picky Dan Yeah. Sorry I I say. Picking Danny Yeah No, they're picking daddy and it's just getting stronger and stronger feeling and liking it back to like how I started looking at the fight link originally when this fight started getting NATO's like Oh, you know or when they started getting talked about it was like Oh you know earls got that like that's you know it's a good win and it's a credible name. But. That's easy work not easy work, but it's definitely fight for him to win for. Sure. And it just wasn't. I don't feel that way anymore. You know what's the thing about me Mary I I never saw it as like earl washing Danny even before the accident like I just don't I don't understand where the people are. Some people stand in that. You know earls going to wash Danny and earl was gonna Wash Danny in and a lot of people felt like that you know what I'm saying and I still feel that you know from before even when he was all right he wasn't GonNa Wash Danny. So even if he's one hundred percent right now, nothing happened with the accident he still not GonNa. Wash. Danny Oh Danny it's a tough I and people gotTa Start Understanding that more. Like not be able to like. Okay. Calling it a wash. In and feeling like earl can't lose should be two different things to people era I'm saying like. Like you can feel like there's no way earl loses. But, then also realized that that won't make it. You know a twelve Oh, you know tend to type victory. You know what I'm saying and that won't even make around like damn roses beating the crap out of lake there's going to be sweet grounds. There's to be moments were Danny has momentum. It's going to be like any other fight in that sense because they're both high quality fighters but from coach Anthony Perspective, you know those are some big words man I, I I don't know I'm I'm curious to see where he's coming at this from. A technical standpoint but just an overall, you know how he sees it playing out I'm Exxon worried I'm worried that he's coming at it from like. Fan. Coast to close to Philly. Got Trained with seven trained with hang. So I know Danny I've seen them come up is it that unit a main 'cause we get caught up in that I? Do if I seen you like I seen today's a train. So I'm going to be picking her in I mean so he might feel the same way. Yeah no no, I agree I agree But. That's the problem I think for the fight you know, and that's a good thing for me like. A fan of Roy seen him for years. I'm from Texas but at the end of the day, like it is what it is, you're like I look at it. I never thought that URL would be Crawford you know I still don't feel that way. It's a competitive fight nothing he could win I just wouldn't pick him and I say that to say that you know I think I'm looking at this fight with fresh eyes I don't think that there's any. Biased you know will wear or the other. There's no hate for Danny or extra love. For Earl, I just look at the fight straight down the middle and I don't. Think that. Left. Hook nullifies enough of earls attributes. It can five if he gets it with it right and. Then, another FAI. Any fighter. Nullify, you just got to get your attention than the right hand comes like that's a combination. Remember Levin Point. He also has a right hand everybody relies on his left hook, but yo- but. I mean about how smart? How smart you got to be. All right let's say take take into account that he he was in an accident earl comes back and maybe he doesn't WanNa go in there like he did with porter maybe doesn't go in there like he did with Mikey Garcia maybe he goes in there and he's more bit more careful. Maybe we start seeing a different wrinkles in Earl Spencer's game which he has showed us here and there but for the most part he's just been so dominant his vice that he hasn't had the use it. So in this case, he's been in a bad accident. Maybe maybe you don't see him trying to get into these hard show exchanges with Danny Danny can came out and the and there is a. Of Snow about knock him out like look can anybody be knocked out with the right puns year but then he hasn't knocked out a welterweight and Wen. What I'm saying is that the possibility of two elite fighters themselves with the power they carry in those type of punches they can knock each other out I mean look earl put. Portadown. Yeah wasn't the best put down. It wasn't like Oh. Yeah. He got the count and all that you know Puertas hard to put down but he he was put down and that's Fighters Fair Ebb Porta has showed that he could be put down by one hundred and thirty five pounds moving up in Adrian Bronislaw..

"If I can just reach one person. And give them something worth of value that makes such a huge impact in your life. Just the way that I talk about the you know the major players, the ones on Mount Rushmore to sales more You have the you know you talked about Bob Proctor got the Zig Ziglar, all people that have done great binds of sales. It if some kid mentioned my name in twenty years. That's enough for me. Gives me everything I need. One hundred percent buddy I I share that belief with human so much so much passion behind that is an I mean. I have ways to make money right, I make money I I have multiple businesses. I don't need to make money for you. Know Anthony Garcia being. Killer Star I. It's not it's not my calling right Sumi other ways to make money that I'm actually pursuing, but if I could leave that legacy behind and I could teach you something, and like I said Chris. If in twenty years from now there's some sales training class like men. Anthony Garcia said this and twenty minutes. Boom that's it. That's enough for me at night is. Leaving that legacy that way and having was what my family talks about me is how my daughter! How my the people that I come in contact with the people that I influenced I wanted to talk about. Hey, this guy helped me in half to, or he just helped me in this way. I wonder what they say about me. That's it means the most to me you know, and and it's not about what I did is how I did it. And that just means the world to me absolutely. Let a bullet is uniform. Thank you. Very messages and you know I would just encourage all the listeners go back and listen to listen to it twice three times whatever it takes to really just listening for the the message that Anthony talked about today in a different messages, and there's been so much value that.

You can't quit or you'd have to do this, right? My Mom's evening, so it was like it was easy to pull it off if anyone asks what you regret in life, that's the one decision. I regret to this day always. I always think of certain things that I quit on in. It wasn't about me quitting. It's just that I didn't have the time and I was. Your high school and you know you want to worried about. Right. Years ago man. I. Didn't have that discipline just yet. Young Age I didn't have the discipline. It was not the it wasn't. I guess it was not the warrant I'd like this all right, and so you go into the military learned it. People die on bad decisions so. Choices. That competitive advantage kind of you know I had to define it for myself and figuring out like listen. It's it's not about the situation or the event that defines me. It's my character so in that great I mean hearing. You say that you're instilling that into your daughter at a very young age because. That's where all the negative shit happens later with nothing to you, know West just having this conversation I'll let him take that with this. Everything's built off the relationship with the girl's father in us the most important relationship in you instilling that type of mentality with her at a very young age and congratulations for sticking with it and pushing through and sounds like. You're you're raising a really competitive daughter? I think it's great. That's phenomenal. I appreciate it man, I appreciate it West. What are your thoughts on the man? You said You were discussing that? Yeah I mean the. Absolutely influence over then they're sold. Their minds are so impressionable right now. Especially at this I think with all of us right now at.

"I was never really good in basketball, but thousand GONNA basketball and Kobe Bryant said. Hey, you want to come play basketball with me, right? I'M NOT GONNA. Solve them like Hey, man! Here's how I learned how to. Learn to do it right. You should know that by the time you here. You should have read these fundamentals of of not. You shouldn't be in my presence. You shouldn't be in this room right because we're going to go so much deeper. We're GONNA. Learn so much about the wise. Learn so much lateral, not just this. Transactional phrase that you're going to say and I like that man. You know that the whole winning approach right winning isn't done at the appointment. Winning isn't done. If we take a sports analogy, you're not winning because you win at the basketball game, you're not winning because you win the boxing, match your winning. Because you completely prepared for every separation, possibly can come up and you spent hours upon hours of time. When nobody saw you preparing for that opportunity, I may get my business that know what you. You know what you want. Yes I. Make It my business in. It's my frequent was what drives me man I literally drives me not just waking up in the Morris for first battle I win. Every day is at five am when I get up at five am. That's where all my self doubt and distractions, and all the bullshit so must biggest win my day, and that's how whispering. Allow me to get myself in the right. Frame of mind and you know putting that mask on to come and serve that day like I'm walking out of my bedroom. Bro In in its fight music, going on and I get my office. I'm here to destroy I'm here to slay. I'm here to make it happen, and I'm not here. Just thinking happen for myself I'm GONNA make it happen for everybody. I'm coming in contact with because. That's how winning is done all the small things. Man is a small details between good and great..

"Do he? He? He's digging you. He is telling you point blank. Your competition is my fiancee's sister. At a certain point in time during to his fiancee this in the evening. Right you. This is a condition that I would say hey man. I wouldn't spend my wheels on it. Hey, give him your best offers to hey. Look Dude! If you want a second opinion, call me but other than that dude. Don't beat your wills upon in the more right. Right away your time. When companies asked me that question is very similar, but I usually say to them. Is it normal for you? Ask The wrong questions. You're asking me the wrong question. Let's let's here's how I would ask that question Chris. What can you do for my company to understand? that. These objections aren't really the issue. How can you train to my staff? Come lately different way of looking at business because now what I'm going to do is maligned my process and teach you why these objections never come up. With anybody that I work with. I haven't had an objection. I don't have enough money I don't have no time. I don't have to fairy or whatever it is Anita talk to. My dog named danger. You know I don't get that Bullshit I. Don't get it because it's what I'm doing at the beginning. Of the process. I let them know listen. Do you have a spouse or lack thereof? Yes, okay, great in any part of this conversation any part of this buying timeframe. Would you like to bring them on? You don't have a conversation. And if they say yes great, we'll set that up and I'm GONNA take I'm GonNa sit up a different time to have a conversation with both of them? So when I'm going that type direction with them, Anthony I. Need to hold them accountable to what they are going to say to me at that time, so if any, they say no, they're not a part of this process. Okay great!.

"Like I guess you would say. The levels of understanding how the human brain works years ago because it's a lack of the emotional intelligence I believe that prevents people from really succeeding in sales. Because you don't have to tell me who you are. I'm GonNa understand who you are because you're gonNa feel what I'm going to say to you and I'm GonNa. Understand which are not telling me, and that's the deep in active listening skilled at people. Don't take the time to develop, because they only listen long enough to interject their their program or a product or service or t shirt a popsicle. Hey. You need this because that's the only thing I can sell. and. If you take away all the product knowledge, they can't sell it anyway. Take away his scripts. Walk me through that kind of understanding of you know how much is scripted, and how much is unscripted and understanding emotional intelligence with CO corporations and companies? You Know Chris I. Like going with this. Let me say this, right. This digital era of information right information. Quite. Honestly is free. The information we're going to learn is free like there's no joke about right. If if someone wants to retain me as as as their consultant or hire me as their coach, they can walk through. You know the previous forty blog articles, and they can walk through the next forty bog articles, and it's like Oh i. here's here's what you believe. Right? What people pay for is the application. Of that information, and and how do I? How do I apply that to the modern? Day Era, how do I apply that to my exact situation? And what people pay for is solutions to a problem right? I could charge you ten million dollars for my product and service right? If my ten million dollars solves your million dollar problem, right, it's not worth my ten million dollar products ourselves your hundred million dollar problem than it's worth. Worth so I truly believe that that that scripted approach caters all the Knicks and crannies, and all this I mean that's that's lip man. Give me information how me tell me the fucking goods..

"Exactly right so. You have to treat every person with respect. You have to treat every you have to. I mean to me. There's no such thing as this is a big deal. This is a small deal same right. The same approach is the same amount respects the same amount of information share, and at the same time you same information I want to extract like. There's a reason you set the point right especially, if someone reached out to me if it's an inbound lead, someone's coming to me saying. Hey, there's you're looking for something. My job at this point is shut the hell up and find out exactly what you're looking for, right? I'm not here to tell you. I'm not here to repeat and regurgitate. What's on my freaking websites? Saying? Oh, here's how awesome I am I, don't repeat a regurgitate helped me tell me what you think. Yes, if you if you were me, how can you sell me? That's what I'm looking for. You want someone to tell telling me like a listen. West Chris Anthony. Here's what I see and here's how I can make an impact with you. That's what I do. Accompanies hundred percents respect the same in return i. just want you, I mean. Just, help me understand your process in an. How can we do business together for the next ten twenty Just as short term deal of you setting up a PR for us, how can you make more of an impact on other companies I owned privately. Not let alone the ones that I co own with wes. You should be selling uh-huh. How can you make us? How can you get more exposure to us? Walk me through that process and to be honest with you. The person who owns a business is legit. It's not him or her. It's the the sales approach or lack thereof. Are you ready to become the next big thing like get the fuck. It got cold. That's the that's your pitch. You're pitching me and already have my money on the table..

"The last thing I want to do this is for you to make a decision because you think you're making me happy commie two days later and Saint Man I need to cancel this deal. That's on a win. Win for either one of US manslaughter and any point in time. You don't like the direction of the conversation. You just tell me we'll make a hard pivot. I'd rather have west want to do business with me and twenty years now. And then West business today and hate for the rest of my life, so I I really tell people down my look. I'm looking to develop a lifelong relationship with you and you know. Some people. It's Kumbaya like I. Don't want to be your buddy, but the truth is right. I like to do business with people who I like. It know whether I'm paying for a service I'm charging you for service. I want to enjoy your company so when I started phone conversation, I said that expectation right out the gate, and I give my customers the opportunity and for permission say hey, man. No, I don't like the direction this conversation. Can we buy? And so when people feel empowered to make that decision, it naturally takes that stress off their shoulders now very rarely. Almost, if ever, does someone say, don't like the direction of the conversation, but just sharing that in giving them, the power puts them at ease, right, it's all about setting the expectation and having them come up to your level, and a lot of people don't do this and less than I have a lot of conversations with salespeople and we were training whoever? I. Don't ever WANNA lower. My expectations in my standards Anthony I. Don't like my job that get you here. Like here, here's the rest of the energy industry. You need to get in order for you to get here. You need at least get here and here's my expectations here. My standards. Here's what I'm going to do and here's what I'm prepared to do to help you. And if for any part of this conversation, you feel that it's unsettling for you and it's something that you think you can't do. Let me, know, please. I would prefer you to share that with me now for me to agree to coach..

You will. And a lot of listeners, they don't really know much about you I guess we can start with. How did you get here and I'm talking to a little bit about your journey to beginning and sales and how you? Kinda got started. I guess you can go with that. Yeah, absolutely so I have been involved in sales sales leadership in some capacity since I was nineteen years old so literally for nearly the past eighteen and A. A half nineteen years. I have been in sales sales leadership. All my income has earned majority of my income has been earned through commission right sal product, generating revenue I spent six years in direct sales, selling co cutlery, and I did that in all different levels from an individual sales contributor work my way up to run around franchise or running around district manager team of over one hundred sales reps and that was awesome. Then I took a transition mood in business to business sales were I spent four and a half years, and business to business sales I did phenomenal their things went really well kind of the the learning that took from Cocco help. Do my skill set in business to business, and then about eight and a half years ago, I got connected into medical device sales now a regional director for medical device organization I. I manage a sales team of high-performing, highly compensated sales reps, and so at a certain point, just look back at my career and sales and it was. There wasn't anything new. It wasn't like. Here's this new magic sales. That's GONNA..

"Nearly fifteen years ago, did really really well, and then I went through this plateau of the or not despotic trajectory of success, success success, and for about three years I stood stagnant, but according to the US tax bracket I was very successful with my mind I was like. I haven't broken this barrier that I wanNA break, and so I finally said okay. You know what I'm. GonNa Bite the bullet I interviewed some people. I found somebody and I'm like okay. You're going to be my coach and we're GonNa. Go from here to here and that really changed the game. So that's that power circle of accountable. There's four parts to family buddy, a group minute professional coach, so talk to the people that are. Are In our community that have had some level of success and feel like they can do it on their own. There are many people that are out there and I'll probably put myself in that in that group also I do love the idea of having an accountability partner in in Strickland. Definitely that my girlfriend Jj is definitely that we have these little competitions all the time we ring a bell. There's actually a bill, right. Right in my house and and you know she makes a sale from her room. She sends me a little text message. Ring the Bell and I. Do the same thing when I'm in my room. Talk to the people that have had some level of success in their life, but haven't gotten to the point where they think. Do I really need a coach in my life? So, what do you say to those people that are out there? Absolutely, and here's the deal if you're at a level of success. and. You feel you've arrived or I. Don't need to get better your regressing because I guarantee you right there. Somebody out there. Who's young and hungry? WHO's GonNa? Pass you up and it's not a matter of if but more a matter of when and as I, as I climbed these ranks right of age right now I'm getting to the point where you know I mean my. My fifties or closer than my twenties right so I'm looking at this and I'm like okay here. We go right. Let's let's let's. Let's think about what's GonNa. What's GONNA, change in life, so for me to stay sharp in on my on my game I have to have the best tools.

"You have to pay less to, but have but have them. Them on salary. You nuts a really good question in the sales team that I managed directly. We are probably on the lower end of salary for the industry that I represent so to answer that I want someone who wants to say. Hey, if I can make a million dollars a year in commission, I'll take that. GimMe a hundred thousand dollars salary with one hundred thousand dollars in variable. That's two hundred grand. I want the guy that wants to make seven figures, not two hundred grand any day of the week. Because sales as you know, it's like it's professional. ATHLETICS IN SPORTS TO GET PAID for performance in sales you pay for performance, and that's the type of mentality I wanNA Mitee. What do you think is the big turnoff for people that are out there that are. They're used to that. I'm going to answer my question. I don't want to answer the question. What's the big turnoff about most salespeople? Our as far as wanting to get into sales. I mean they they want cushion. They want comfort. They want security. From the customer side. I love the idea talking about to another salesperson. What is it about from a customer perspective about sales, people? They think we're pushing very bushy persistent. Sometimes you get the you get branded as honest, not ethical you're. You're always trying to sell something right. You represent dollar signs I show up to an appointment. I represent dollar signs and people sometimes don't don't really appreciate that. All right, so let's talk about some of the concepts that you have. In your in your training program in in maybe anything that you have put out there I want to talk about these goals you have these things called. Smarter goals can share a little bit about what's smarter. Goals are yeah, absolutely, so the smarter goal concept came from. Honestly I was tired of hearing. Everyone talk about smart goals. SMART goals have been around since nineteen eighty-one. I, mean do we have measurable attainable? Absolutely. So. I, mean you get into any any program any book? Any HR and they're all set a smart goal set a smart. We've been hearing that for years. We'll smart goals is a fundamental, and yes, there is some principles that are still valid, but in order for a smart goal to take flight in order for a goal to be effective. We have to think smarter and so what I simply did was I took the in the are. Are, and I added E. You have to be emotionally invested into your goal so much soul that I tell people if your sales goal doesn't wake you up in the middle of the night. If it's not the first thing you think about the lasting go to bed, if you haven't cried or got passionate or your sales go, you're not gonna hit it right that that's smarter goal. There has to be an emotional investment into that goal and. And that emotional investment is usually tied to the are in the are is what's the reward for achieving this goal and I pressed people to not make you financial because when you make a financial goal for a sales goal? Yeah, it's nice to earn one hundred thousand dollar commission check. It's nice to earn four, hundred, five, hundred, seven, hundred grand a year. That's great, but once you do that over and over again. Eventually the money doesn't mean. Mean anything right. I mean it means something like money's money. Rewards.

"Anthony P Garcia welcome to the nice guys on business podcasts. Dog I'm excited to. To, be here, thank you for this opportunity all right, so we gotta start. You know where to two guys that love selling love relationship thing. Most people however are afraid of selling and I. Don't know why I don't know if they're afraid to ask for money. If I mean I get I get a lot of my needs, met and selling I don't. Don't know if you get the same thing. How about you? Absolutely? You know it's really funny. Right sales is what we do. It's who we are and what I found. People are typically afraid of that sales process, not because of the skill, but they're just afraid of rejection right I mean. The skill of selling can be developed. It's like weightlifting right I. I mean anybody can be a bodybuilder. Anyone can be a marathon runner. It's having to put in the reps over and over again, and that's really the difference from an average sales reps when above average rep, the above average rep continues to put in more reps all right, so you wrote this book you gotTa. podcast you obviously are more than just a? A a hobbyist in the world of sales. You didn't go to high school or elementary school or grow up as a young kid. You didn't say I'm going to be a professional salesman, so what or maybe did I know I didn't and I was listen as the son of Dave. Sandler I was raised in an environment where I was like. You're going to be in sales period the end that was it but I never wanted to be in sales, but it just kind of found me. So, where are you in that world? Yes, so I started in sales. Fun, fact, as a young kid, I was very comfortable selling negotiating hustling finding ways to make money as a went to college. I wanted to be an attorney i. mean that was that was my life I wanted to be an attorney, and then I realized I didn't want to I. Don't WanNa go to law school. So then I wanted to be into broadcast. Journalism wanted to do sports, recording and radio.
