"Children's mercy park shot at the sporting kansas city. For coming up with those tickets while let's it nothing on seattle they didn't get you jacked up. You how do i didn't. I was just making sure that you didn't have more. Thank you more free stuff. I don't wanna step on that at all. Got to now for sure. I'm not begging company restore reads come later. Yeah yes. seattle is really fun and so we talked about console pineda but part of this culture of like it doesn't matter who's out there an expectation of results in winning. And that's what we've seen from them this year and this was just a continuation of this to me of not being fearful of seagrass not having respect but not having not being intimidated by that moment and then having expectation that no matter who's out there they can perform at a high level and then as we talked about with the young players of you have joao paulo. You have a roy. D. as you have mar- alongside you to make your life easier and this is a seattle team that right now. I think is a favorite in my mind to make. Mls cup from the western conference and they showed in this game that told tell on the field they can play with anyone in this region and that was exciting to see right that our best is v. Best in the area and there was moments where they had a sequence in the first half they played it out of the back and they play it into rooted in the left or the right half space as he's coming back towards his own goal and he hits a first time outside of the foot pass on the ground across the entire field into the path of brad. Smith like this was champagne stuff from seattle against. And it's why peo- walked off the field and you saw him get an argument with fans on his way out. 'cause it was like you didn't lose buddy like you got work here in seattle and this is a team that can do that. So one of the best in mexico and they're gonna be even better. We've always had sort of the the cliche with the sounders of like. Oh struggle to start slow midseason transfer window big signing comes in nicholas darrow. Sort of the key in the past of that and then they go on a big run their animals cup no surprises or they did the first part without all the stars now. The stars are coming back now. The roster looks even more complete because all those young players whether it'd be academy or otherwise have had to step up and perform you guys elevate themselves knew who supposedly is close to coming back. He's arguably best eleven he's an all star obviously rolled on. I think is best. Eleven is an all star. And now nego darrow. Comes back and he doesn't come back. He comes back to having taken phone calls on his shoe. After putting the most incredible left-footed. I mean that was absurd. That shot like i i. That's one of my one of the goals that i've just enjoyed most of the season because it's nico back because of the difficulty of the shop because of what it means to make it three. Nothing and i almost made a four nothing right after that with that. Play where they pinged it around and radios at the diving header at the back post. This is amazing criminal. Dawn from alistair brewer. Here's announcer says on has not lost a game in which he's played for club or country this year this includes. Mls gold cup leads cup. Probably scrimmages to. I did not check that stat. I just assumed that that was one hundred percent correct because it makes sense given they were in the invincibles didn't lose until the gold cup started..

"I'm taping. Don't take any walls down. Just walk upstairs and it's all just complete disarray. All right back. I'm you from me. I'm enjoying this. That's good number one. So i think everyone agrees with that. There's all the pieces they brought in. And then there's the eight and more showed what he can do. An animals cup final. So now you know you have that piece. Kedah had a good year and veto warm gore. Who was on the roster now back so outside of right back depth. Which isn't something. You're going to lose sleep over. This is the deepest team in the league and they've gotten better hyatt. Yeah and the other thing to to go back to being a little more versatile like okay molina. We know he like if he's feeling it. He could just singlehandedly manufacture. Like not just chances but goals and they didn't really have one of those guys who could do that from the wing last year. I think malino is the guy that we're all kind of hoping derek at the junior could end up being and it's a. It's a pretty big gap between those two guys. We seem derek at the junior. You've really really good in really big moments for both columbus and the rebels. The other thing though. Bradley phillips is one of the great goal scores in a malicious. He's also one of the best pressing forwards in mls history and the crew didn't press a ton last year so now we're going to bring it back to the original question. Yes they might be even more well rounded than they were in in two thousand and twenty when they proved at the end of the year best team seemingly so columbus number one number two is l. Afc and i know this is going to bother some people because they think we overrate l. Afc but this team. I mean they took t grace to the wire they were. They were twenty minutes away from being the first. Mls team to win the modern iteration of champions. We know how great that tigray team was and they were able to resign morio. They added a starting right back in moon from the k league. Which i know you guys are gonna talk a little bit about with your johnson. They have they brought back almost all of their young players. And you would expect them to sort of level up They have this dp slaughter and to have they're going. They're going into the season with kind of a question. At stryker except daddy musashi gave them really good minutes last year and you can live with him and corey barracks for the time being. Have that dp slot open and then atop that..

"So chad marshall for me is that guy. I think he's the best of all time because of what he meant to not one. But two clubs ultimately the crew over a decade the sounders over five years more than four hundred games. mls cups supporters shields individual awards. He is like the definition of what you would like to get out of the super. Have to go back to what you were saying. Would you take showery or would you take not. You would take chad marshall because for the next fifteen years you're good period but again wasn't the second best player in his draft probably wasn't the third best player. 'cause clink gets taken six picks later and bradley gets taken in the fourth round. So i don't disagree with you. 'cause centreback is massive and of course the chad marshall theorem respectively. Wash shot once again. A first round draft pick. But how can you say. They hit a home run when two players were better that were on the board that take. That's a look. I understand what you're saying. I don't agree with it fair. And i understand what you're say. They want an mls cop seattle on animals cup. Thanks to chad. Marshall that's fair. Although clinton nc helped things in seattle as well in a weird coincidence of this whole thing but Yeah you want to hear some of my late round lovers yes give me a. I'm all for that okay. So first of all the hold on hold on. Where did the late round the lover. I've literally never heard that you didn't need to do alliteration there. Sorry but i did anyway. So the highest pack that. I put on this list. Thirty nine th pick in the twenty ten super draft ourselves. So chris mueller. Who wasn't able to a healthy. But they were able to continue to be an analyst cup contender after the Because of chris. Schuler chris schuler reference. Love it after that you've got e at the forty ninth. Pick hold on..

"Can I ask you, Caleb? What changes in your mindset from what we know and what you know in a regular season in a normal world and this? Can Your team in July of Twenty twenty play the style of soccer. You thought they were gonNA. Play in February and March. How will the five subs change the way you think about tactics or man management? What is what is different in your mind now that you would have never had to think about Ryan. It'd be. It'd be naive to think that it's not going to be different. It's going to be different. You know there are a lot of. Considerations on that that we have to think about. Know being off. Only having you know shortened amount of time full team training of the heat. The game times the time in between games. You know all those things, even the psychology of just kind of be in here. You know it's different, and it's new for everyone. None of us have been in this situation. So you have to embrace that it's different new. You have to every day. Think outside the box. You have to I. Think Challenge Yourself in the staff to think outside the box in the to make the right decisions every single day. It's not like a normal season where you've pretty much gone through it. You kind of have your way work in. You have your patterns that you go through You know it's different in, so we've I. Think done a good job trying to think about everything in factor in our preparation factor in how it's different For example we came down a week earlier than we had planned because we saw was really important to get a friendly game in. I couldn't I couldn't fathom going into a regular season game if really points are at stake for regular season. in Animals Cup of plan our first game without playing opponent, and so not saying that's going to better prepare us. Anybody else, but in Arkansas rations we felt like that was really important to come a week earlier. in, so we made that decision. We're training at night down here. We feel like it's really important to kind of get used to. An evening, rhythm and getting up later in ultimately we feel that's an important decision in our preparation, because ten thirty game is not a game time that we've ever played in, so we need the players to get used to that. Not just a regular season game coming up after a layoff Taylor, but against the rival Urine Ohio guy we are not. We don't know this as well explained to us what the Hell is real robbery means, and maybe what this Disney mls tournament version of it will look like. Yeah. It's really important this rivalry. Some bragging rights in our state. You know when you look at the the two Communities Columbus and Cincinnati. There's there was already a bit of a rivalry forget. The. MLS teams playing each other in so when now you put your team into that situation against you know their team from their city. It's massive for everyone. Of course you know the sports, but it's important for us as well and we had a taste of that last year. It was really fun to be a part of obviously we had the better of, but they're going to have. And I told the players this. They're going to have a chip on their shoulder at a new manager. They've spent some money. They have some. Good players that they've signed. The roster's improved in psychology always when? You're the team that didn't win the last one. It's an easy motivational piece to be able to say. Hey, let's get these guys back, so we're aware that I think it'll be. It'd be a good game you know, and also you factor in. It's the first game, so no team is going to be perfect in that first game, no teams fully ready probably for ninety minutes at the level you want to be at. You've got these five solves. We don't know completely ops Don's going to do in terms of putting his team out, so there's some mystery there as well so it's going to be fun. We'll do what we always do plan for what we know, and then we'll be ready to make adjustments. Can I ask you to be direct about the five subs as a coach as someone who studies the game and has to make these decisions when you saw that rule change. What went through your mind? Yeah, I mean. I thought it was a good thing under the circumstances. You know when you're playing games again where you're coming off a big break. It's important that you have those extra couple subs- immediately. When that rule change was implemented in, you saw happen in the Bundesliga you. Thought was. It's GonNa Change half halftime subs. Managing Kinda rotations in loads. You can pretty much do three solves you know in no, you still have your to subs, tactical and match state that you would normally make and so I think they're going to be a lot of halftime. Subs with three sometimes maybe even four guys coming in where you plead pre planet and you know. I'm GONNA I'm. GonNa Start this way and then bring on these three or four guys at halftime to change the game, a great dad fifteen seconds bike ride. Go Fish walking the part..

"Twenty-three camp which was the essentially twenty-three spur soccer's Olympics Olympic. That's the Olympic team. Get called in again as a favor and kind of like you know work. My way through the guy I called in. I got coached caused me at the camp and says hey you're GONNA be you're GonNa be an alternate but if someone gets hurt you go. You know. You'll be the one of the first guys to go. Who was the coach? Caleb Porter Okay yes this is first time. And they were going through qualifying in two guys in qualifying. Got Her in my position but they didn't make qualifying so am I. I couldn't about the Olympics right at the in my mind but not now maybe healthy. Maybe it doesn't but in my mind is like I couldn't put unlucky again right Come back to two thousand seventeen summer of seventeen getting bite to the Gold Cup. I'm playing well. I'm playing five commissions in the team and the ravs at the moment One be left back which was fun and I'm on an all time high right. I get my first national team. Cap Against Ghana in Connecticut. Play really well crate creating assists in a sense. I got fouled for the for the free kick goal Next game we're playing the Gold Cup. I get an assist against Anima. Never been so skillful my life. It got really lucky and then all of a sudden crossed Baugh was mainly and then the next game. I play and start. I get a goal scorer. Yeah I score a goal after scoring a goal next morning I'm hammered by the way everyone celebrating with me when I first asked him goal. Everyone I had all one hundred but Hand me a bottle of wine and say you'll never forget this moment. Make sure you have a drink but is a smart guy yeah. Luckily he's a great deal and handle all wine the next morning. It's about eight thirty breakfast and I get sent home. I just had the three games in my life and I just got sent home from the national team. I couldn't believe you got's in home. If I'm being honest I couldn't believe it. I just I didn't understand it. I'd no idea I'm on an all time high to like it's like I'm I'm the absolute fifth grader. Who's on the King of the fucking playground? Sixth grader comes out and just kicks you right off. It's just like you know what the fuck happened. Just beat everyone. What do you mean and I get to the airport? I get the airport about ten thirty one o'clock flight. Go straight to the bar. I don't know what else to do. Honestly sit around. Think about this and some about halfway through my first beer and I start feeling like emotions kinda coming on. This is actually real. Like a micro don. Wh- what what else can I do? I start to feel like tears. I call my dad my dad my dad goes. We're GONNA do this. I don't want to crime public like what I do and he finish your beer so I finished my beer and it goes great. Don't think what another one okay ordering another one. Who Goes Beer? Take a I took the first step and he goes great beers in new debt. Make sure that your taste good and that was kind of like okay. It's a new day. I kind of get back into things and that's full. Dad Moment I loved. It doesn't let it but that was like the most the biggest high ever been on on the lowest low. Unfortunately that that was the last time I felt because two games later I got and it was like I haven't been able to recover from it so that was like the biggest high to the like. I said the guy who just kicked me off the playground so we got some listener submissions from people who off four of them. Were to ask you about that very situation so you have. You have done that but Krebs to them for southern list is strong emotions. But it's you know life life changing emotions. Yeah I listen I think you go sorry for my dog by the way she's like an stairs. this So the I think if you go back in my if I go back in my tweets I remember tweeting about whole situation and being like what the fuck just happened like the best player on the field just had sent a like I just I was. I was probably not quite as unhappy as you but I was pretty unhappy myself and so I remember that whole situation. I still don't understand it. Have you ever gotten an explanation for like at all like just maybe like did you hit on? Somebody's like sister or daughter like well. You Know I. There are parts of this that I don't know and I don't know if it's politics I don't know if it's like I don't know if it's the national team I don't know if it's because the OSCE can switch six lives in. All six guys were veteran guys. That's so whether I played or not for the rest of the three games that we had I would've liked in the hardest part for me was not being able to celebrate what now I created a little recreate. It gnaws right see contributed in many ways but not being able to celebrate with the guys when they want so for me. I was told that it was just more like A. Hey you know you're not gonna get the minutes anymore. You're tuned kind. Needs to get minutes with them. Let's let's let's talk again when the goal cups over and the national team kind of continues on there. There's a stretch in so in my mind. All I hear is the res- wanted me back and I got screwed here but I've never gotten a clear answer I've been told no and then I've been told no one so it's like a he he say she say can I mean. I don't really have it in that. You know I have not needed to nor have I wanted to confront Bruce because that could be a realization that I don't want to be honest with you and it has it. Has this situation ever been awkward between you? Now no no dober- no it kind of you know. I told him when I I talk to him over the phone When he was chat about free agency and things of that sort I said look. I haven't seen a lot of that. I want to prove to you and I got. He got the best Ataman. I'd some of my best soccer when I was playing bruce in very very short period of time. So it's like look I want to give back to that while it's let's go back to what we know right talk with you and you and me. Let's let's see if we can find it. And so there we we launch into the twenty twenty season. So you guys have played two games Dominated fire in was. Didn't you played against or jokingly one game that we played you know yeah you dominated by the fire and one of them. That's all I remember All I know I think the most goals ever scored against team I believe. Is the struggle really on your career. Yeah I only played one game was that was a good old like like rams the cramps like I can't believe I knew. I knew that I was probably in trouble if I played games. Also say this to a Quick Little Spiel on twenty twenty so you say you know the gods shine upon us in thing you know. Open up What do you guys think about? Twenty twenty you you know. Obviously you came off a pretty in terms of the trajectory. You guys are heading the right direction for for twenty you know is the. What's the goal here is to MLS Cup or is it is that maybe this'll be a step too far. I Have Animals Cup about listen. We're let's just pretend we're actually going to play this season. Let's say let's say if we play every game right I think we were at a disadvantage of this season Because we're on such a high right going Obviously nineteen I watch them. I didn't play with them but I watched them. And it was very very good reading the continued to progress especially with Bruce Now we had like a little bit of time. We still need to get back to the nearest you. Each other being get one healthy again. This may have helped us incentive healthiness. But it didn't help us in the sense of Camaraderie and being able to play together so we started to play better. We start to see moments of playing better and then we had to stop obviously now. No one's seen each other for two months. Yeah Yeah I gotTa agree with that logic. I think That that is tough is is like being apart from everybody for so long and like you said building in the right direction but at the same time I mean like replay. We haven't even played a single game this year at our full strength and like we have one of the best players in the entire league in my opinion not top five player in the Holy Carly He the guy is just is just unbelievable. He's not he's he doesn't. He hasn't gotten name brand recognition yet. He won newcomer of the year. Last year. I know but I say comer of the year but the fans. He's not nearly as big as probably cannot like pride myself in being able to attack and defend just about anyone dude. He's incredible going against them in practice. I hate it like when when when he started to get like fit and get close to playing again and he started training with everybody. It just reminded it just reminded everybody how good this guy actually is and like everyone takes like a week to get back into fitness. Get back playing well and things. That's what this dude right away. I Progress Day. His first touch was on his feet. And you're like what the fuck and he's just like banging things with his right foot into on you know I was hurt. Thank God I wasn't get land and he banged a right footed goal top dead. And you're like me. Yeah he didn't. They didn't let me train that day. That was on Gillette before this Chicago game or before the Portland game for the Portland. What would have been the Portland game? Yeah but yeah. That was literally our last training session. I was on the side of the field like on my phone and saw that he doesn't like us and he wants to be on his phone watching I will. I will say you said before. I don't know if it was before or after we got on the air you said I don't watch soccer but then you watched the revs all through twenty nineteen. I feel like you sort of you on yourself. You told on yourself a little bit there so when I was growing up especially I didn't going back to your ex is get stalking you stock in our instagram likes. I watch I watch videos..

"The League. Right now. In Maine has been scoring for the past eighteen months. He's been ridiculous Montas their playmaker. They have guys like Jonathan Campbell. Who are so cocky Kathy and able to to win games with some of the dark arts. They're just a really good solid team and to go from that to cruise us all to America or Atlanta before you even like that's the bracket is just too tough and there's too much uncertainty uncertainty now with that back line like when when the Walker trade was made I thought okay either. They're going to announce immediately a center back to replace him or they really are just that high interest in black men and they have a right back coming in and like nothing has happened and it looks like they're going to go into this series by the way we're taping this a full like four day Thursday so it who knows but even so you're going to have somebody into the lineup. Her new is is brand new against the highest scoring team in league. Amex right now and if you get past them then you have this critical whom I actually disagree with. I think I've watched crews will think twice now in the class. Sarah their fallen in Santa human as their eighteen year. Old center forward. He's got two or three goals at this point he's in he's dangerous and it just is just one thing after another after another. It's men if they win this then. There's no way epic they are. They are the best team animals. Can I go back to the first question? Which is how much does this matter. I agree with Charlie that Bob Bradley teams always the field believing they're going to win wanting to win everything matters but no team and MLS would sell their starting centerback two weeks before MLS Cup unless there is a phenomenal. I disagree though. And and what I'm saying is is that logic because it means everything to them. Yeah coming out of. If Eliot was in the position they were last year and it was the last week of August and the European transfer was causing. They got a million dollar offer Walker Zimmerman. They don't think they sell their because they're gonNA win. Mls Cup and that's still matters more to these teams. And I would agree. That Elliott is going to do everything in their power that they can now to win this but the real thing was screw this future. This is the plan. This is how we're set up. We WanNA win. Cc L. This year then you keep him on the roster until this yeah it kind of felt like did an opportunity given what they did in the regular season last year to say Moss Cup. We know we can kind of like split prioritize. Here we'll focus on. I just gotTa make the playoffs. Seven teams get in and then we know we have the best team in the league. We'll do something close to the work. We're going to talk about in a second that Atlanta has data all right. What's your New Orleans now? How much does it matter to Atlanta? Clearly it doesn't. There's no way you can get around that. There's no way with the business that they've done the way they've done it that this is the most important thing to this team because otherwise most of the sales you're going to do and most of the work you're GonNa do actually makes more sense. In the summer from a worldwide market they sold L. GP to Mexico which makes sense right now but if Frank de Boer said to them. I can win CC L. But you have to give me my players. What if that's process behind the Castro the maze on her back? Castro's coming in Todd Walks Castro's coming in the week before the Competition Starts Rosetto. I can't even play in the first against it is have no it. This isn't the most important thing to them. And that's fine. They've been super successful as a team. They already be club America last year. You can do whatever you want. But the way their business has operated and I think we say this probably about every. Mls team which I think has been a little disheartening is just. This isn't priority number. I agree you lose. Nagy you lose gristle you lose L. GP and there hasn't been enough reinforcements Stephen Warrant that the shot at chasing CC L. Let alone you know trying to re you go for them. Lescot okay right now. That's that's a pessimistic. Sorry I'm here for the downtown. They've replaced all those guys told me about how they could win it why they might win. I mean the same way that they beaten club America. Last year they went out there with the biggest and most successful team in North American soccer history and they beat them now granted. That was a one off at home but you get through this tournament by keeping close on the road and then winning your home games and by the way Atlanta last year even as ragged as they were beat Monterey at home and in that road game they were fine for eighty minutes and they just had a breakdown which is a complete mental breakdown at the end this team. They have more know how they have in Frank de Boer a coach who has won stuff at a high level before and he has his players. Granted you won't ever settle for the first round but you gotTa get past. I think he can play at home. Okay just can't go he can't go to Dogwood so you you're going to get past them. Then you're going to have club America in the second round. You're ready for club America then in the third round you're GonNa have either crews as well L. AFC Orlando do you think Atlanta United? Feel like they can't beat any of those three teams. Do you think it's going to go the same way that it didn't compete against America? No I think club America. We'll be. We'll be favorites. But I'm making the case for Atlanta. I was just asking if you offered America Fence Barco PD. And Joseph for America's attacking corps. They would do that. Trade in a second in a second you have Joseph Martinez. You always have a chance to win. See the they'll just irony. I see your point about what happened against Monterrey. Last year goes back to the fact that when they go into that game they are not a team when things fall apart when you get tired at altitude after seventy minutes you have nothing to fall back on because you all just met. You don't have shared experiences. You don't have ideas of okay plan. Abmc's isn't working. But where Animals Cup champion. We can go to D. because those people aren't those players and they have no relationship and they've not worked together besides and then you go in pressure situations. They have in a preseason down in Mexico. Which is that was a great idea to go down and play in. Guadalajara. And and get that experience. But that's one of the things it's always killed or less teams because of the timing of this competition as we've discussed but as you see more money I it's disheartening to me that this doesn't matter more by saying you know what we actually can cover this player for now and we'll deal the summer and then trying peak as we go into the playoffs and that's not the mindset and that's one of the reasons these teams fall apart okay. Nyc of Carlos or they go to the places Carlos's plan they go to Costa Rica. Then the comeback player rebel arena. You know all about their vagabond status by now. How much does this team care when you think they basically stood pat care about anything? Yeah Pat and they made a couple of Nice little moves but they have a stacked attack to be hard to get minutes for all these players. We've got a solid backline. Midfield is good team. Five point building a team. That could be the team. That's like Oh wait. They made a run here because yeah they could. They could basically get Seattle or or Montreal. Supremo you'd think don't want to Discount Olympia here but in the quarterfinals and then it would be in the semis. But Are you? Excuse me grace in the corner starring Weiss EMC. I made it easier for you. Then so the the the rosy picture for NY CFC's. They brought back their top thirteen players. From last year. They're only obvious. Weakness was no left-back and backup for. Tarita. An got the Icelandic singer Guy So they they. They are too deep just about everywhere. They're in trouble with Maxima. Morales is hurt but like every every minute. Mls is in trouble if their best players are they like Carlos in that first in that first match up in the round of sixteen and we just heard from John. About how San Carlos is not great right now. They have T- grass in the in the four finals if they pass out Carlos and if advances we know took a you know he doesn't really care all that much about seasick matter in the end that might not matter in the end and then at that point there in the semi's against most likely either Seattle Saprissa or Montreal and NYC AFC not going to be concerned. You're intimidated at all about any of those teams over two legs seed the doubt she last. They last issues that they've never done it. So the the issue is they had one of the best teams that MLS. They changed coaches and it went downhill fast. And that is the issue with this is you. Don't have domain to rent to run this team. You don't have what he's installed refreshing because we had just dumped on domain. Sure everybody who takes us? Seventy point team turns into a sixty five point team deserves respect but it goes back to the idea. It's his team. It's his blueprint if it's there that's his DNA. He's the one who has all the different ideas of how he wants to change things and the guys have worked under. This team has a great chance at this because of the continuity doyle talked about their one of the deepest teams and they brought everyone back. They don't because the guy who led what they did and built this whole thing isn't there and let's not go that far. I mean He. He took over Patrick Vieira. Let's not even rebuilding like who Patrick Vieira Bra. But it goes to the point of. They had a great team. They got a new coach. It went to S. They have a great team. They have a new coupe. So how what's the process now? If doesn't continue with domain terrence doing are they ready in March to play? That would be my main warm up game in San Carlos which which which will go a long way and they'll feel very comfortable in the home and they have the leadership. I love Alexander Ring. I can't stress enough of what a player like him does for a team is building to cover ground organize Get the ball his feet. Get The ball to maximum morales and let that attack run free. They have a lot of players for rotation. So you don't have to worry about stressing bear or custody Janos or Metropolis or to Jewish rowdy. They have so many players that can hurt you in a variety of different ways. That's why this team is is primed for a run in the tournament if they can get by Tigray and that's the big if if they do that then all of a sudden we're talking about NY CFC. Real real strong chance of winning this term. Yeah I think there quietly the team that everybody should pay attention to now and also. There's the Karma thing because nothing would be more metro than watch an NYC make a deep sea l. Run maybe even win the thing at Red Bull. I think by that time. They'd be back at Yankee Stadium. I mean if you start winning games at red bull arena just taking over like you have zero games. Red Bull Arena. That's the way this thing works last team and then we'll get our predictions much will impact is going to be. I think a rude awakening for Terry Anri..

"The unit out of there. Let's see I'm going to do think. It's Andrea Blake. I think it's Andre Blake. You own me was OMI seeing. I know I look down. I never looked back. We here would you? If subpoenaed would you that I did not know what was coming out of that bag. Okay. So we unders in the booth video review going back to it. Yup. Says he did not look down. So no penalty year down on her. That is a good pull out of the black trash bag full of swag. Of course. If you want a free sign jersey, you have to be in the league, and you have to win a week you cannot win twice. So those who've already one just know that you can't win again, you can sign up at any time for this league. It doesn't matter Vania go sign up. All right. Let's talk expansion Brian obviously in Charlotte. He says, yeah. Because he says club number thirty belongs in Charlotte. It's a major market, it's boom booming population and Konami proven appetite for soccer Gold Cup and icy matches during fifty K plus an owner with the cash to make it happen. David Tepper sees with Arthur blank is done. Just a few hours away says Brian and seems really committed to replicating it seal t- that is Charlotte independence, also fills a massive geographic gap in the franchise map DC to Atlantic. Give me my club. He says we shall see. I sure I used to spend quite a bit of time in Charlotte. I worked I was in the NASCAR NASCAR beat. So I was in all the time. And closed. Eat is fantastic city. And it's also one of these cities a lot like it reminds me a lot of Nashville, and that the people that move there just completely like embrace the teams, and it's just like, it's a really really solid sports city. And I think that I think it would do so well, they're also you have to take into account all the collegiate soccer that's around. And they're so I mean, it's a huge thing in that in that area. And so I feel like it's already there. I think the fan the fan base is already in place in that region. And then to add into those rivalries with Atlanta and with Nashville, I think it would just creat this really really cool kind of geographical patch there of soccer crazy fan. Busey's? There is a ton of talent. Yeah. Area and North Carolina. Doing a good job. They haven't academy of producing some of them. But it just takes it to the next level who bring 'em last sighted. We'll be cool. I'm weird to learn that Susanna is actually a southerner at heart. She is undoubtedly you're not wrong. You're not wrong. I feel it deep in my soul. Anytime I go to one of those cities. I do feel at home with the glow. You your soul? What is it all country run all town road? I get to bars of lady Gaga real quick. Wow. Yummy. Something. Zander insurance. On this show. Dan on Twitter who is singing against Zana. Why are you just? Is a great voice. That's the grossest thing of great voice, man. Dan, says how do you guys see the division shaping up when teams twenty twenty nine and thirty come in St Louis be in the west or the east will there be three divisions by twenty twenty two of course, Saint Louis. We don't know we'll be in. But it sure looks like twenty Twenty-nine we'll go to Sacramento and Saint Louis as you've been following this news. I took the liberty of kind of drawn some things out here currently of twelve teams per conference twenty four teams we know that there are three more coming in. So we would add Miami and Nashville to the east and my math bring that up to fourteen you would add Austin and Sacramento, assuming they get in, of course, to the west bring it up again to fourteen there, then Saint Louis can kind of go either way you kind of have to make a choice. They're a half to be in the same conference. Casey. I agree with that. So then you would say we're then we're putting them in the west and this case, well, then that might eliminate another team from the west unless you balancing, go different direction. Commissioner Don Garber had mentioned, Las Vegas and Phoenix. Those would be the west ones, Detroit and Charlotte. The other side of that might open up Charlotte to be team number thirty in this in this kind of exercise here, but just fixed the whole thing. I make three division. Okay. We'll mid west of here's the three divisions, which is harder than you think. Because they don't break down perfectly. I have the west being the LA clubs San Jose, Sacramento, Portland. Seattle Vancouver are sell Colorado. And then a question, Mark. You gotta find another team in their bobby's not into this central would be Minnesota's into. Computer, which this topic does nothing. A little bit of little brevity here from Bobby? What else does he have opened on his browser? So that's good central would be Minnesota sporting KC Dallas, Houston, Austin, Chicago, Columbus Cincinnati Nashville, and then maybe Saint Louis in there. The east would be Montreal Toronto New York City New York red bulls DC Philly New England, Orlando Atlanta, and Miami fusing about this pretty clean you have to find that western team still otherwise you have to move out of the central division. But you can't break up in my opinion, the Texas teams, right? So then maybe it's Minnesota, I guess that you might move into the west, but they're definitely central want that NFC north rivalry. Saint louis. Go into here, Bobby you can just kind of check out here. Meditate a little bit house. Like, we need forty teams. Yeah. Greg Ingram says I'm dreaming big here. So here's my dream season structure. He's from Bloomington, Indiana. This is four thirty two teams. He says, but could be adjusted in Greg scenario, the regular season is thirty games home and away. It's all in conference opponents all of it within your conference, true home and away round, Robin, the travels good, you get a match up on both sides Bilden -ticipant for cross conference playoff clashes because he has an interesting playoff format here. It's the top eight teams from each conference. So fifty percent four groups. It's group play each group has two teams from the east to teams from the west that Thome away in the groups. So the top fifty percent of the league gets thirty six games. So those owners get more revenue he says those teams get more opportunities those fans get more opportunities the team that wins. The group moves on so four teams move on into Cima finals that are single limitation into. Less cup. And here's the wrinkle from Greg on this one those last games, the semis two games. Their animals Cup are played in one market all in the same place. You basically replace all stars the gathering point with that. That's where all the fans would show up. I guess that means that you also would do it in a

"Did it feel in the stadium? It's not a good vibe. Let's let's put it that way. The fans are disappointed at the very least. If you don't have a team who. Can compete for animals Cup. You have a team that's gonna work work hard and give it their all blood, sweat and tears are gonna leave it all on the field, and you can respect that. When they walk up the field. You say, you know, what wasn't there? Maybe you don't have the players or wasn't. It's not going your way, but you are giving everything and we can respect that we can come and sit in our season say these guys are are proud to be playing in there. And they're representing our club our area. Well because of the effort when you watch the game yesterday the effort to track back the effort to defend was not there. There's no urgency and then eightieth minute the boggles outta bounce. Brad Friedel's run around trying to get the ball back and play. It comes back out a minute after towards the bench. Not one player gets off off the bench to get the ball. And that sum that up for me that this team needs to be woken up. Something needs to happen. And. I feel bad for coaches who have to deal with teams in this type of situation. When a squad is so down in in energy lists, and they don't have any type of of hope to play. I don't know how you adjust that. What you see on the field? What'd you say? I mean, a lot of it comes from what Charlie said this is a team that doesn't look in the goal. The first goal of the game is a good example of that. Like, there's a first of all rod night in his on the ball trying to play out of the back in demos on one side and the other defenders on the other side. And after a couple minutes of looking at it and see Cincinnati is not a present team but night and decides whatever I'm going to boot it, and he boots long up the middle where Cincinnati have two six three centrebacks literally those guys are built to he didn't he didn't even give his defense time to press up and. Compress midfield to win. The second ball that you know, is coming if you boot it like that. And this is like Brad Knighton has been around at tech aid. This is a veteran keeper making little not little making significant mistakes like that and to be fair it happens. It's literally how Costa Rica scored their first goal against the US in the World Cup qualifier at red bull arena two years ago. Tim Howard did the same thing. So it does happen. But then nobody else on the reds is alert to what's happening. Nobody else on the revs is saying oh, man. He put us in a bad position. Emergency defense. Regatta fifty fifty. We gotta win. We'll hippo just let's Kuta money. Get inside of him win the ball. And then turn and go, and then he stops tracking him and Monte plays. A one g with Kenny safe. And it's one nil. And the game was over the game was over at that point the res- had nothing. They had nothing going forward. They had no plan. It was it was brew. It'll watch and like even some of the Gabrielle Somi who's still on the team tweeted out what a joke that's a player on the team tweeting that it's it's not great right now is England me and Charlie were talking about before we came on just you can see when a team has a belief in who they are. And what they do. And you give a goal, and you know, what it is that you do is going to create opportunities to get back in the game. And he said when he was on the revs every home game, they knew they'd went. And when they went down one zero you knew what it was that you did could get you back in the game. Whoever was and you can see what this team they don't have that. So they give up that first goal. And it's we don't have a way to get back into this game and everyone kind of starts to meander around. And so on the Cincinnati side, we talk about talent. And where they stand the league and baba, but it's buying and they were all everyone was when it got the ball quick to attack and direct and Kenny safe new where he fit in and everyone played off of that. And no they're not going to win with that team. But they believed in who they were. On that day and over the course of thirty two weeks if you do that every game you're gonna win some games major. Yeah. A lot of teams and you're going to be in the race with playoffs and that it was just a stark difference between the two teams I wanna go through. And I looked through all these transactions from the last couple of years because before we had this conversation. I was thinking about about the revs, and I was thinking back to twenty team preseason sitting down with Brad Friedel and having off the record conversation with Brad Friedel. And and you and I being held in Jenin's. Yeah. Just absolutely. Like, yo the revs are gonna come back. This is gonna be beautiful. It's going to be amazing. But you just kinda look at the players that come in. And I don't wanna throw anybody under the bus here. But I think it's just objectively you can kind of look through and say, okay daily may going back to two thousand seventeen this is before Friedel didn't really work the way that they thought it might Benjamin and good same thing. Gershon coffee back cloudy on a crucial Nemeth trade him. He becomes again. A the striker that he wasn't Kansas City. The whole time you go to last year. So me, the Hiba Christiania has had some good moments. Not necessarily consistent enough we sell birth. Okay. Saito. You probably don't know his name, Cristian Machado. You probably don't know as they Michael in hurt hasn't really gear. Mo- it on Edgar Castillo is in. He's we know he's a good left back. But one Fernando said it was supposed to be the answer center forward. Curly's? He'll he's been pretty good so far, but you go and look at this business, and you look the outs at the same time, and he'll Kamara tough to deal with the times. I love him. But I think he would admit that Kamara gun Lee win Krisha Nemeth, Helen, rose, kellyn, ro you just kinda go through this. And it has just hard. It's hard. We can't belabor this point. But right now, I think revs fans are in a tough position. And the Reverend up position they gotta find some belief. They've gotta find some sort of current that they can all get behind. Ride to a better place. One team that we know is in a better place. L AFC got another win. Walker Zimmerman here doing his thing. Banging it in in stoppage time, the whole place goes crazy. And he is on the line right now. Walker what's up, man? Are you doing what's going on guys? Thanks, no doubt about it. And I'm gonna start you here because half to I've watched that replay. I don't know ten fifteen times I've consulted with a noted goal score. And Charlie Davies here, he says, probably deflections. I don't know. I don't see evidence there Cristiano Renaldo or a little bit of a touch Walker. I think the lection. Yes, honesty. I love it. Because he's offender, but what was funny is like when I hit it and the game is I thought I thought I thought like the flex a little bit. But then you're right in the replace though hard to tell that even touches the guy, but under saying that from what I thought I saw in the moment. So good. I liked that a little bit. You could have plausible deniability you passed on that ethically. You're good to go here. I. I saw the celebration that was at BIC, Dave. And I were actually at the first game of Bank of California. When AUSSIE mon- scored that free kick scribbled in. But the place went crazy every time I watch games in this building. Now, I feel like it's a leveling up. What's it like as a player in there to experience it? It feels the same way too. I mean, I don't know if it's just the fact that we've had so many ridiculous games late winters. I mean idiom is so young. But in terms of just how the games of ended. They've really seen everything. And we've had a lot of exciting moment. Ready in such a short history once your favorite tradition fan chant part of the stadium. You've been in it for year like when any cigar comes in. And he's like one of my in for the season. What's the one thing? Like, you gotta watch out for this. I would say probably the jumped rela football club under new see the thirty to fifty to get involved in and they're all jumping around like a bunch of hooligans. They are it's incredible will Ferrell doing jump prelacy football club. I mean, this is becoming like the celebrity sporting event in LA. How does that feel? That's different both this league for a long time. That's different. Yeah. Yeah. I think we we all hoped it would become that way. And we knew that if we can just get people in early ones that the one come back and. Oh, I think you know, we're starting to see more and more people come out, and they're they're used. They're always like, man. I can't believe I haven't even been here for a year. And I haven't been been doing. And so it's good to see that everyone who comes here is having a good time, and they wanna come back. Walker key talked to me about the progression. From last years squad to this year's the backline. Your partnership with Eddie cigar how that has kind of transpired throughout throughout the season. Yeah. Well, I think as a team I think we're we're maturing. We're learning how to had a little bit of an intensity maturity to our game management. And I think that you're seeing us focus throughout ninety minutes. You know this year. I think the difference is where the team that's going away goes. Whereas last year for like, man, we we'd have the lead or the time. And all of a sudden, we give up a soft goal towards the end and lose points. And so I think the Nevada season we're like, yeah. Sure we finished with fifty seven or whatever points. But we we left a lot on the table. And then this year, I think it's the opposite. The concentration has been there for star of the game at the end of the game. And certainly with Eddie bring that up. I think he's been great. It's not easy for players to come in. And adapt right away. We young player and he's come in. And I think one of the biggest things for him was he came in fit and he came in with the right mentality of. Okay. I don't have it all figured out. I'm willing to learn. But I'm gonna do everything that I can. And he's certainly done that he's an open to learning. We've got good dialogue system sessions, and he just keeps them proving. And it's a lot of fun to play next. You mentioned those late goals. I've seen we are LAF see from your one. Bob rally was not happy about some of those late goals. You can see in the footage. He kind of walks around the field post game. He seems like empowers with you guys about what happened. What went wrong you work under him day in and day out? I know from watching for about ten hours. How intimidating he is. What's it like working with him house? He changed now into your too. Is definitely an intense coach, and definitely has his ideas. And how he want things to be done. And I you know on and off the field. That's just personality. And I think if does bring a level of professionalism through our club and something that we all need, you need someone guiding the shift, you know, the Dachary one for the go. And so I think he's done a great job in terms of managing his players. And I know he he's intend to all the time. But at the same time, he can have personal conversations, and he is very in tune with

"For you and with Jamie and Mike hi on high. So it's thanksgiving week. And we were not supposed to have a podcast, and then we were feeling kinda guilty. And we're like, you know, what we can't do this to the people. Let's at least give them something small. So they have something to be thankful for right and talk about what it is that we are thankful for because it's such an important time of the year, and so many things especially what's going on in southern California. There's a lot to be thankful for if you are healthy, and you still have a house that has not burned down which almost happened to mears's and a little bit of trouble there. Yeah. They were all vacuum. While I was on vacation Lally was evacuated. We are so worried I know we were all really worried, and and I am personally extremely thankful that that we're all safe and healthy. And what is going on right now in northern California is still unbelievable. And you know, what we should put a link on our food cast page to where people can donate a great idea. And I think we should do that but lifting things up a little bit. We wanted to talk and do a very short episode with our top things that we are personally thankful for here that Hungary land and me personally crew. So I'm eager to hear. I'm never one. Number two, guys aren't. Jay what Jamie. I don't wanna get sappy. "Take your day just a current day and write a headline. The headline has to be up to sixty characters. It could be a sad headline. It could be. I went to the gym for the first time in three months, which would be a great headline. It could be some, but right stack and Dr. Once you write the headline you gotta start picking and choosing who says that meeting that person for lunch, or who says that your boss thinks that the new way we all right headlines that's called Facebook Snapchat. We all make our lives look so much better about the Israeli Palestinian conflict, and suddenly you have to pick and choose the most important people go to battle. So. For example, fives and then kill each other tool, maybe missing some context, but all headlines have misconduct. This is the Mideast podcast. I am your host Molly Livingstone here in Jerusalem still just Jerusalem. By the way we have the US embassy, but it is not Jerusalem Israel officially as of yet. And here to confirm. That is my interview today with Vive rotting gore, political correspondent times of Israel. What's up with your name? You just made it up. Everybody's gonna have a name, I know, but what's happening in yours Aviv really. Jio. Yeah, Kaviv is. And then there's this weird German name in the middle? Yeah. So let's just break down your name plus my parents come from America, so like none of that's the plus none of it. Makes sense. It's all a plus Eva super Israeli gore, isn't that mean a puppy in Hebrew is a cub lion cub various animal Cup. So they named you lied and cub. The did not know. We have an old family name on my mother's side. Google who are students of the reforms fund the famous mystic from fat in the middle ages, and then they left spot and went to eastern Europe. They took on the name Google league, lay Halley, the cubs of the lion. The was his acronym and they made it. They made it turned it into a Disney movie last name and one of them made it over to the western hemisphere. And at some point, apparently changed the name to Gerard. And anyway, there's a name in the family. And so when my wife and I got married and we kinda thought and went looking for, he brace is name. We're kind of old school. So goal was right there. It was a Hebrew name in the family. I, I actually just made everything up then. No. Parents made up. I have a middle name of south that my parents made up to a lot of your parents make up. Maybe you don't have parents, maybe you're making that up to true. He just came from the sky, fell down the good version. That's the get. So you choose to be a journalist has fair to say wasn't forced, right? And you have a title that you've essentially made up. I mean, it has to get approval from the editor, but the times of Israel is pretty flexible. And a lot of people would say that about what they read. Well, we're going to talk about all this because we're living in dange of alternative facts and what's real and not real and the Mideast we always put it out there worse satirical. So everything you read is basically a lie. But in this day and age are lies almost seem like truth. I mean, it's hard to tell a headline from a headline things are pretty wacky at this point and you having like a title that you kind of make up. And then we wonder if you're making up your titles and headlines and your news itself and not just you saying that as all news. So you're kinda in the hotseat which is why didn't wanna tell you anything before we started and we're done with this. So what's the question back because his journalism, true or false? Is that the question? Well, I think that's way too white or black in this day and age. I wanna start with first of all. So I asked if you chose to be journalists, you used to work for the Jewish Agency. Are you still work for the Jerusalem. Post I worked, there's five years of the Jerusalem Post agency. Then I left the for the Jewish Agency. I was two years at the Jewish Agency. Why you did I was the spokesman. So you did swap journalism for the other side? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And represented. Jews represented, you know the agency and then went back to the times of Israel because. Personal room much. Many more reasons than one was that I was not a good spokesman. I did not enjoy the sort of silly ego battles that I was having with other organizational spokespeople of Israel, big ten party and cetera we, it was a bit of a dramatic moment to the Jewish Agency. The ninety year old Elliot department was shut down at it cost, one hundred five million dollars a year and that stuff. Now cost something like forty, five million dollars a year, and there's no difference in Allah. So there was an department that wasn't bringing Liam Neil immigrants and there's a whole policy thing. We, we redid the whole Jewish Agency, and I was sort of the spokesperson for them. It was a lot of battles, and a lot of silly battles against silly people who don't know the material. And so I was fighting with the minister of absorption who is the current minister of absorption sofa Landwehr who just doesn't know the materials. She doesn't know the information. It was essentially a fake fight over fake issue over decided to go into journalism. I went back to journalism at a time when journalism was thriving, look

"Trouble with you on Sunday next game. Of course, Saturday that'll be. Edulis stadium. Three PM next Saturday NBC s in a tune into watch T on the boys. Go after New York see who can earn a spot and MLS cub Jermaine Jones will be a big part of that game as well. Of course, he scores the game winner as you mentioned on this one. And we've heard a lot about how germane has changed the team on the field. But he seems to me based on covering with the US and seen him now that he's just such a unique individual and a strong personality. And I'm curious your take on that what kind of change he's made in the locker room. And then I also have to ask do you fall on Instagram and who does the best Tremaine Jones impression because he is just asking for locker room impression? Well for me. I always say what you mean. Everybody knows what what he brings to team. Team. He's experienced his style his love for the game. But it's when players are new two teams. It's kind of what they could bring off the field that you know, maybe not many fans. See it's just how easy it is. For us players to be able to gel with him. He came into the locker room right away and was very easy to talk to very approachable on very laid back guy. And I feel like that easier for everybody to kind of focus in on him. And just learn from him. He didn't come in with an ego and to try to make it seem like he was better than anybody. But he's a competitor. He wants to win and everyone else on the team wants to win as well. So I feel like it was just a match made in heaven to have come to this team and just lift us pushing guys in training, and he just Harry passionate competitive guy. And I dunno char-, Charlie some good impressions of them. You know, we all kind of have our our own take on him. But and I think I'd do follow on Instagram. And you know, he has some. Some great some great pictures and try to help them out with his he's English a little bit to what what's the line. What's the go-to line? Because you know, when we do our Simon Borgen so replay impressions, it's always that's the red card. So what's the what's the Germain Jones? Go to phrase that you guys have latched onto how well we always kinda there's always a lot of banter locker room, and sometimes he doesn't understand our sarcasm. So we always kind of goes what you talk. I try to say, you know, what are you talking to? There you go one more before he gets out of your good luck. Of course in that second leg Cup a second straight. Visit right there on the cusp for you. But one of these stories in MLS that we thought that maybe you'd have some unique insight on is the whole test show Atkin deli tug of war kind of between the US and Canada right now on an international scale Tesche, of course, winning the rookie of the year honors here on this Monday. Just wondering if you've talked to test show, and if you had faced with a decision like that what kind of advice would you give him or any young player in any situation? Like that was wondering maybe what the future held for them. Yeah. Haven't been able to reach out to him or talking cash, but you know, he's he's a great player and has so much upside and so much potential and he had an unbelievable season for for him. I the biggest advice I can give them is. You know, you have to make the decision for yourself. There's gonna be a lot of outside forces, maybe pushing you forcing you to do. Certain things. But at the end of the day, you know, truly where your heart lies, you know, where you wanna be playing and whatever's going to be best for him in his career and his future. That's really what he has to to go for because at the end of the day. You can only play the sport that we love for so long and feel that whatever case that may be it's with Canada for him or the states yesterday, whatever he thinks is best for himself. Good stuff there from till Bumbury on the endless Cup playoffs. Jermaine Jones in back in big thanks for joining us here on this Monday. Sorry to interrupt your off day, you know, the movie watching and the the breakfast and better whatever may have you three PM eastern on Saturday. The ribs hosting the New York red bulls that'll NBC at you Diene in the US TSN to an audience to in Canada. No excuse not to watch this one until bummer till thanks, man. Have a great day. Thank you so much for having me guys. All right. And what do you think they're Dave? I think that some good advice from him for show. You know, in some ways, it seems like the obvious thing. But when you have so many people and. So many interests and everything else pulling on you at the end of the day. You just have to say what's best for me. What am I going to be most happy with and we'll see what touchback and Delhi? But till bummer. He's doing his thing in the playoffs. A guy that New York has to watch out for and I think for him. He he's been a little bit up and down this season in what he's brought because of the position move. But there's a lot of weapons on that team. So he gets one on one situations. He gets looks because of the success of win Jones. And now Davies and if he's going to take advantage of them, I don't know if they're stoppable quite honestly in this playoff run. I don't know if the rebels can get past him, and I don't know of anyone could beat them animals Cup. No doubt. He's kind of playing that targets striker role. Right. I mean, there's a little high up there. He's not always going to be one of the come back. They wanna get him in positions up to field. Certainly did a great job of it against the red bulls on Sunday. Let us know what you think anything about what Thiel said preps, the Tesha situation at extratime radio on Twitter extra time at Emily's soccer dot com via Email when we come back as always your mail. "We wanna hear from you. Your encourage to Email extra time MLS soccer dot com for tweet at extratime radio with any comments questions. Regions. Hi, this is from the American bulls. And you're listening to extratime radio. Don, extratime radio with the guys David Simon Borg just getting his musical. Critique critique ready here. Mean what's his critic? I have to dust off because this is this other previous century, it's from two thousand so I guess you could count that perhaps not listening to music lately happen. Yeah. That's perfect circle. I thought you'd like that that seemed like maybe right up your alley with little talent. Okay. Okay. Brand new old style muses. And that's what he wants. Let's jump into the mailbox emails about the us men's national team. We talk about them an awful lot. And we've we've kind of pan your Clinton lately. And that's what people did after this four one loss to Ireland. It was an easy time to come after him. And let's be honest. They just didn't really show any progress at all here. I know it's kind of a b team from both sides. But when another team beats your team, that's still should be in my opinion reason for concern. So do you share those concerns and as and as thoroughly as they beat them? I mean here we had the Irish out running outpacing the US. I mean, what world are we living where that's happening? I don't know. I think the world you're thinking of the Irish are like Hunchback leprechaun's because they were there professional soccer players and are quite athletic knowing by the US players like they were the US again another game. No energy, no pace, no physicality about them. And so it's almost like going into camp, and you can Clinton with his physical preparation something going on with these players. He's he's overworking something happening. He needs to answer to how he's preparing this team physically because they they didn't have it did not have it for me when you talking about that I feel like the guys who were at the World Cup aren't giving you the effort that the guys who weren't they feel like they've made it, and that's there. If you look at the games over the past Rubio ruby and I thought played well thought Bobby wood played while I thought Greg Garza played. Well, those are all guys at we're not the World Cup. Guys haven't been from through the ringer that could be your opinion. I think my opinion is clearly fighting for something and Clinton the the one guy who's always trying to unsettle guys clearly has that issue in for me. The winner of the whole international break was Greg Garza. He's the starting left back. I haven't seen anything from Timothy Chandler. And I really liked what is done general yet on is nil. Annetta spot as well. We'll see what happens with him in this offseason onto the MLS awards vogue as those came out on Thursday morning here in unless soccer dot com. You can check the full list of nominees there. But we'll hit on some highlights here. Maybe some Worldwide's for certain guys MVP comes down to Robbie Keane. Over for me Martins in the Lee win. That means a brother Phillips is not there, and I'm curious Simon. Do you agree with that it should he be on the outside looking in? That's a tough tough group there. But this is the golden boot winner, this is the guy that let him by leaps and bounds when it comes to the most. Important stat in the game. My question. Why are we limiting our finals two three? That's true. It's a little bit defined goal five. I think four for this group. Well, you don't you can't tailor it to each year. Though, you have to go with the number three maybe is a little bit. Well, but Brad Phillips, you would figured if you had to put money down that that this would have been the scenario because rather Phillips despite scoring twenty seven goals, despite despite all he's done for the rebels, and whether it bazaar at this stage, he is not been given. The do he deserves in my opinion, we've discussed this before the media hasn't taken to him for some reason. It hasn't improved his cachet, and you look at the three guys with the most cachet this year so from popularity standpoint. Yeah. That makes sense for me the other guys their teams had better seasons. And they were just as influential if not more than Bradley Wright Phillips was and so that's your talk about what is an MVP. And that's kind rather Philip scored fifty percent of his team's goals. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Right now, more influential. How'd you get more influence? From scoring half your team's goal, what Lee wind in for a team that had a striker that only scored five goals and for a team that ended up in second place in the east rather than fourth place. Yeah. For me. I think I think that would have been the Lee win one of Robbie Keane and Oba and then Bradley Wright Phillips because I think I think Simon's, right. And the other thing I think about all this is that team is built around Brad who Phillips if you take him out of there. The rebels are nowhere near the playoffs. They built the team run getting him chances. And he scored a boatload of him a tough one also tougher. He is not on the coaching lists Schmidt. Gregg Berhalter in Ben Olsen getting there. I think you should have been there. I think so you commit at a great season the double already, but I think the pieces were in place for that. I think the overall job that Oscar did a little bit more impressive for me. Then also little bit baffled about Germain Jones. He of seven regular season starts being on the newcomer wist half to believe someone over the course of the season had more. I know he's turned them into animals Cup challenger, but just my personal opinion. Steve Clark there who was a finalist for all the. He's right there. And if you're going to have seasons can to Washington, maybe should have been jumping in there as well. In the dispersal draft that was on Wednesday. We tried to go over and predict who would get draft. We do a great job. Dan, Kennedy goes off the top two FC Dallas. Maybe they'll hold onto him. Maybe he's a trade bait number other other guys there. What was the most important pick the most likely to have an effect on twenty fifteen you Simon. I think again Toronto they shrewd pick. I wanted to see marquee. They'll gotta go. I I thought that made sense given the entire picture here and Toronto peaks fourteen and the GM out there too busy pachinko again knows the league. Very well. And I thought they picked someone who's gonna eat a lot of minutes. Pro team. No. So maybe he'll get some minutes for them. Come twenty fifteen. Oh, I I. Okay. Okay. Check the details. Soccer dot com. Big thanks to our guests Zola's, Android Sam. It's going to be magnificent. We can guys I cannot wait excited rate games on Sunday. You don't have that that break in between. We just don't know. What to do? It's all gone back. Yeah. Both right here on siriusxm f c channel ninety four. So tune in we've back on money to rabbit the action for Simon Dave.
