"There are alternatives to the things that we think of her medication and specifically ways to reduce inflammation. I mean when we look disease. Implementation is at the root of almost every preventable disease. That were dying from today. And I think that's going to answer a lot of questions for you when as I'm sure like me. You hear all these kind of crazy claims about what we can do for you. And you know if you're a little bit of a skeptic as we all should be you have to think all right wait. How's it possible that this one medicinal plant can be added to my smoothie in the morning for energy or can take it at night to help me sleep or I can use it to improve my ability to focus or my ability to relax. How is it that this can help with epilepsy or seizures anxiety depression in pain? Like what is this miracle compound? It just sounded too good to be true so I started digging into the research to really kind of it further. I want to know I mean how much do we know about the human use of CBD and what are the differences the different types of CBD is there CBD with Thc? Is there one? That's more efficient more effective than another. How is it that they impact the nervous system? Is there a psycho active element? What is the difference in quality? What do I need to know about the qualities of CBD? How do you dose? Cbd is a CBD them taking for my dog not that I'm taking them giving to my dog the same exact CBD that I'm taking or I'm ingesting but just in a different former with a different flavor what roles have on my para sympathetic system. What role does it have on our sympathetic system? How does it impact the Endo cannabinoid system all of these questions? I had and I knew that the people I needed to speak to where the founders of soul CD which are Angie and Mike Lee. Who you'll be hearing from in just a moment but before. I get to that I just want to say this is just my own personal opinion. We do need to see more research but until recently human trials were all but banned based on the research that we do have there is tremendous science that proves the effectiveness of treating some really pretty gnarly childhood epilepsy syndromes and other symptoms including studies for Insomnia and chronic pain. In fact a study from the European Journal of pain show that using an animal model again. Cd applied to the skin actually helped to lower pain and inflammation due to Oth- rightist so there's some really promising science surrounding CB but there's also a lot of really bogus companies out there producing inferior CB products. We're GONNA talk about all of that and so much more with my guests today. Now Mike and Angie Lee are siblings which is a story in and of itself MIC is. Will you hear his story on the show? He's a professional boxer who fought in front millions. He's fired at the MGM. Grand in Las Vegas. I was his most recent fight. He's at Madison Square need. He's incredibly intelligent man for someone who's probably been hitting the head so many times. Mike is also the CEO and founder of soul. Cbd and I love his commitment to assist sister in his commitment to wellness. Angie leave heard on the show many times before. She's my little sisters. I like to call her. She's just a remarkable little by your plug health fanatic marketing guru. She has a podcast. You've got to check it out. It's called the Angie show over seven million downloads. And she's just a Whiz and marketing in helping women in particular find their their niche together they are the founders of my soul CD and they are here today to talk to us about all things. "Spouse leaving them. It took something massive to happen my advice. If you even feel it coming up pay attention to it for me. It's been a big journey. A several year journey starting with personal development. Therapy doing some. Emc are going on some spiritual retreats where I could just really shutdown go internal and look at this and then hiring some solid coaches. I'm a huge fan of having coaches. That can help pull a lot this out of you and then the final piece. That really helped me was. I did some hypnosis and I can't speak enough about the powers of hypnosis when you get to the root of what's happening that definitely changed the relationship I've had with my dad just doing hypnosis going back to childhood and being able to know that I'm loved just for being and that came from hypnosis a lot of ads I often say that I am a workaholic in recovery and I'd like to say that I'm completely recovered. I think if I did say that I would be putting myself. At risk of falling back into the grips of my addiction. I know the my addiction is work and accomplishment. I know that I have these tendencies. I believe recovery is a journey on which we must always be vigilant. I have moments where I have an idea or thought like wow but I quickly now go to why that may not be needed or the gratitude and what I already have or why. This is not a good idea to add that now. And what's so funny? Is I think my whole life. I thought I had to be chasing and hustling to be successful and I now have a knowing that that's not true and I will tell you that my business is doing better now from a profit standpoint than it ever has. And I'm hustling and chasing so much less. It's not even part of my my life anymore. I often talk about how we are resistant to go to therapy. Were resistant to dig deep. When we believe we're managing and this is especially true for those of you who are highly productive who are driven. You might wonder if in fact you're going to lose your edge if in fact you might make things worse. Will it be worth the effort? There is something amazing on the other side of it. I wouldn't change anything. I've been through to learn the lessons that I've learned but I no longer believe that. It's necessary to hustle and chase to be successful. Angie League is the founder of my soul. Cbd also a sponsor of the show. Now you might be surprised to know that Angie Lee is just thirty years old. She's practically a baby and as a matter of fact. She calls herself a baby grandma the irony. She's accomplished more in her thirty years than most people do in their lifetime. She someone I consider a dear friend. I adore her. She's a petite blonde firecracker she's hyperactive self deprecating. Has Big Eyes should could definitely do. Stand UP COMEDY. She snowboards and she teaches marketing. And for all those reasons my greatest fear is that someone's going to say. Is that your daughter? Which is why always introduce her as my little sister I see myself and Angie and the protective older sister in me worries about her ability to know the she's enough. I can't remember the last time in my business that I took a year to just be versus doing and achieving something specific by next goal is a successful book launch in the fall. And I'm already feeling the anxiety. I is really focusing on the enjoyments.

"Don't know but they did borrow it and they did pay me back and it might have just been my dad's seeing an opportunity to teach me about interest but I- beamed with importance and significance. I remember on that day feeling like my whole life in the role that I played in this family had changed even as I think back on it. It's like I can feel the alchemy. Something shifted in me. That day I felt so important I felt so relevant I felt so needed and in it I formed this belief that that's what made me significant my ability to take care of people financially my ability to have money. I knew it was a big deal then. My parents were borrowing money from me and even though it might not be true in my head. I formed this belief that I was keeping the family afloat that it was me who saving the family. And from that day forward everything about the way I viewed success and money and accomplishments changed and I viewed the world. Through those lenses. I looked for ways to prove my belief if I was praised or people complimented for anything. I didn't hear those compliments. I didn't believe those compliments but the ones I looked for it and the ones I sought after the ones that felt so important to me. Were the ones related to making money and in particular making money to take care of other people by age. Fifteen hours already figuring out how I could afford my own college. I never asked my parents for lunch money again after that happened and I was in middle school. I never asked him for a dollar after that because I had guilt. But because I had pride that I could provide for others I could provide for myself and eventually I started flipping cars and entering into business and finding myself more obsessed with working than I did anything else. That's why every sport that I started. I usually would quit because it wouldn't allow me to spend enough hours at work. I worked retail network marketing. I knocked on doors. I sold newspapers over the phone. Anything that I could do any part time job that I could have in any small business that I could develop simultaneously. I did that and I like to think that I did it from Dr but really ultimately eventually after going to therapy. I learned that I was doing it because it was the only thing I thought that made me valuable. And when I looked for evidence of that I could find it and if I couldn't find it I would create it whatever I needed to do to validate that belief. I did it including and through the I pretty much ten years of my marriage. When I met my husband I was twenty one. He was twenty. We're at Michigan State University. And at that point I already had. Three jobs was working as a paralegal and also a fulltime student and also running my own business. I was a baller and I thought that's what he was. Attracted to was my ability to make money to provide for not just myself but for others. I remember on his twenty first birthday. I rented a huge limousine purchased all the alcohol for the Party for him and all of his friends and my friends and just always paid for everything and it wasn't as though that came easy it meant a lot of sacrifice admit. I never had time to rest meant that I could never just be student. I had always be thinking about the next move my next job my next promotion my next business my next thing because I had to make more money. Because if I wasn't making more money will then I would be less valuable and I. I just carried this theme in my mind forward into years of our marriage life and never feeling satisfied and never being told that that's why I was valuable but the irony is that the more you make the more you realize you have to make after that. 'cause you're only as good as your last hit you know if you take your friends and family members on a fancy vacation will. The next vacation has to outdo that. And if you're buying a nice car this year will then the car you by next year has to be better than that and if the check you've made this month is really impressive. Will then the check after that has to be even bigger? Which leaves you feeling forever unfulfilled. There was never any time to celebrate any wins or to congratulate myself on a job. Well done there was no time. I had to do more and more and.

I know that it's not that you don't WanNa see me. It's just that's just works best for you that way. That's how right. Yeah we just spent some time with my girlfriend. Angie Lee Shadow to the Angie show and her significant other was saying that. She's the same way like if she's going to record a podcast she wants the whole even though might be a thirty minute podcasts. She wants the whole day to herself because she wants to get in the right mode in the right mood. She wants to play. She needs to get into that creative space and she can't schedule it like okay. That's not going to happen from one to two. I don't know what's going to happen. So like clay basically says like young going to give her the whole day and you do that to which I really appreciate tip number three. You should always express your appreciation even for like small things to your partner using their love language so for you your love language is words of affirmation so I like to surprise you with posted notes or a letter or just in. I like to do it as a surprise so I might stick a card or a letter in your car when I know you're leaving early in the morning or you know put post it notes up in the bathroom so when you wake up you see them and so that's the snap and I know that your words are your love language and.

"If you're interested in trying to find a way to live a bigger fuller life, how to create additional income passive income. Now, if you are a regular listener, you've probably heard the episode that Britain. I did where we talked about. How it is. We go about selecting speakers for our events. Okay. So as we're going through this process this year, I reach out to all of, you know, my top friends and people. Associates people in the industry who's opinion. I really trust and one name kept coming up. It was Angie Lee. And like the third or fourth time I heard her name, by the way where it was asking for him. Like, I need a really powerful strong authentic, but like down to earth and fun, and like, you know, super relatable female, I wanna female who can teach the mindset around marketing like, you know, helping people get over that block that so many women I find have when it comes to earning additional income. And so anyways angios named kept coming up over and over again. And a couple of people were like, you know, what you love her. She's like a little mini version of you have to tell you. I take that as a compliment because I did not have my stuff together. Like this young lady does at her age. I think she was like twenty nine years old. You would never guess it because she's done so much already. She's a seven figure earner she's a sought after business coach. Coach she is a top-ranking podcast her her show is called the Angie leash show. And really what she likes to do is help women understand what it takes to create a breakthrough a breakthrough in their life a breakthrough in their business. She's the co founder of a c b d company called soul. She's a public speaker. She puts on her own event called it pays to be brave, and she's just one of those people who's very very authentic just relatable, and she's a mid western girl with, you know, big blue eyes, and very sweet, very kind and just honest and authentic and doesn't put on airs just a really cool check. And I know you guys are gonna love her. So anyways engineer getting to know each other. We're spending a lot of time talking and texting and getting together at networking events. And I love her approach to health and wellness to were like super lying there. And so I, you know, learn a little bit more about her CBD company and start taking some of her CBD oils and. Then I learned that sometime last summer she had her breast implants removed. And I was like, okay. This is a story that many of you have been asking about Andy been asking about CBD oil. So let's get her on the show and talk about both of those things. Angie, lee. It's about time. You're here. I'm excited. I'm so excited to be here. I'm been looking forward to this day for a couple of weeks actually, more than that. Because we it scheduled. No way to reschedule it which was totally cool with me. And I've had kind of crazy busy couple of weeks. And I sent you a text yesterday the day before so we're gonna play and we're going to go for a bike ride. So we still have to do that. Yes. So we're gonna talk today a little bit about CBD, and we're gonna talk about breast implant illness. Let's start with breast implant illness. So talk to us about when did you get breast augmentation? Yeah. I was nineteen years old when I had three thirty sailing implants implanted into my body. I was competing in bikini shows and my mentality at the time was this is what will help me to win. This is what will help me to feel pretty and sexy and to attract men, and I was nineteen. This is exactly ten years ago. I'm twenty nine now. And we're you flat.

"What else can I bring? I think when you invest in masterminds in courses and certifications and these live events relates coming to pays me. If you're increasing your your frequency, you're increasing what you know and who you know, and that's making you more energy, rich. Here's. Here's a cures. Why of critically talking about being more valuable? What do we need to pay attention to when it comes to shifting like the health industry, we need to start talking about emotions, you know, even like everything we talked about money, we're not talking. It's like budgeting versus changing your frequency. We need to do the same thing across the board in the entire industry. Understanding why people are doing what they're doing. Understanding why binging, why they're overeating, why they hate themselves, why they're overweight and overwhelmed, you will make yourself so much more valuable when you understand the root cause of it and can truly help people in the way that that that they need to be helped. And going back to what I said previously, like I so commend every single person in this position that goes like, I'm doing that. I'm on-board that mission. I don't care what it takes. I'm going to do it and that type of person is like, I'm like, yes, I bow to you. So if you are in a few are health and Wallace yoga teacher, whatever in the health and wellness umbrella, and you're like, I want to go deeper and I want to be more. In transformational. Come chat, hungry, happiness dot com. Slash Angie Lee? Yeah. And she don't be afraid to invest in yourself. Obviously, it's an investment anytime you work with coach, an incredible coach like salmon. So not being afraid of that and seeing that as beautiful opportunity and seeing it as while I can't wait to put energy in to get the energy back. I know every single man who's gone through her certification program is so happy the invested in themselves and they may have been scared for a moment, but they're so happy they did and they're so grateful that they were brave and took that risk and believed in themselves. And if you believe in yourself, you guys, you'll figure it out on this you. I know there's someone listening to this right now who's feeling so down and out as an entrepreneur, you're brand new, you're frustrated, maybe invested a little or you haven't yet sister friend. You've got this and believe in yourself and know that when you risk and you roll the dice on yourself, it always gonna come back favor. I truly believe that I believe the people that are brave, it pays off. Does pace. Raised to be break. You got, you realize just not really until I was like, oh, shit phased. But it's so true and that's where I came up with the name of it. I, I love that game. I love that name. True. You guys bet on yourself. You're not even betting on the coach or the program. Yes, you are in a sense, but you're betting on you're, you're going to show up, you're going to be successful once you decide you are, it's just a decision. It's just about not stopping. It's about showing up every day and nobody can stop you, but you. So I think it's really important for you. Guys start seeing your business as this choice v. successful in this faith and have more faith with money being afraid of. It isn't going to help anything. If that's the biggest message that we can give you today is to not be afraid of it. It's on your side. The universe and money is on your side. It wants to give it self to you. Everything is ready firing to support..

"So before we dive on in to today's awesome episode, I wanna give a shout out to our reviewer of the week, and that is Rinaldo. And she says, and I love this. She says, I mistakenly got into this episode. I was actually going for the house. She stuck out from Instagram and how you can't do episode, but somehow landed on the six things to ask yourself before hosting a meet up episode and it was actually perfect for my moment. I'm about to contact store manager to talk about. Hosting influence or cocktail event, and the seven minute episode was what I truly needed to listen to today. I made all my notes, but what really had me going was thinking questions like, what do I want these guests to do at an event? Do I need photos Schering's networking, really just kind of changed my perspective of how I was approaching this conversation. So I'm so thankful that I just went to the wrong episode because it really made sense with all I wanted to do. So I offer not. I thank you so much for being so honest and sharing that, and I just love that you really came at it from an open mind of saying, look, I kind of meant to go to this one episode somehow stumbled upon this one and look what it did. So it's kind of interesting how the universe kind of knows what we need more than we do sometimes. So I appreciate you listening and I appreciate you sharing your feedback. "Went to a conference a few weeks ago but a bunch of listeners there and they came up to me and it was just such a cool moment not because i'm like oh you listen to my show but to hear their story and say thank you so much for creating this content because i know it's not always easy and i know that you put out so much and to have a girl look you in the eye and just say to you that that show would her to have even a better day it's just you'll you'll know as a podcast or it's so addicting because you realize that because of this medium were literally changing people's lives and i think that that's the coolest thing and and to know that i have the ability to do that and was given this gift of communication i'm i'm committed to constantly doing that so women have the opportunity to have just like a better day so that's what it's all about right and you to your great podcast or and i think if you have the gift of of interviewing people and wanting to share voices than we we should do it because not everyone has that so oh it must feel really good when you when you get people come up to events just under spicing share their joys of how you've been spied them but we will cut costs must be such a cool failing yes cool i was at an event a few weeks ago and i was in the bathroom and the girls started going after in the bathroom and i was like the bathroom in the stall i'm like i'm in the toilet right now but you ever like deliver show changed my life is really weird it's very surreal but then you're like wow that's a real girl was with real problems at a real life and like that that means something that's a real human and that she takes the time to have my voice in her ears every day i don't wanna take that for granted because there's so much she could be listening to that sometimes an hour of her life that's a huge deal and i think it whether that's why the podcast isn't i mean other than sponsors obviously it's not like my i don't want to fairly remake that the moneymaker in itself i think that's just my place to have fun and build a community and that was worth millions of dollars to have a girl come up to me and say that it changed your lights so yeah it's it's so worth it angie what are you working on right now that's your riddick side about me show you probably got yourself in a lot of fingers in the pies right i have a lot of pies you guys let me think ooh to things so the cd company coming up but my book and my event so i have a book coming out it's called raise your hand and it's all about confidence in asking for what you want so we actually gave some nuggets away of little little juicy kind of the topics that will be involved but it's all about teaching women to ask what they want in life and how if you don't ask the answer's always no and how to work with the fear gremlins ask what you want from the universe and it's cold raise your hand some really really excited for that's launched soon and then i have an event called pace to be brave that's coming in october in san diego so it's going to be a big live two day summit and it's a sales in confidence summit for women to not only feel like a bad ass but it also learn some sales stuff but also make it fun and obviously it's me there's going to be dancing music so i'm nervous but like the good nervous i wanted puke but i also like wanna really do it nervous you know what i mean you're like i don't wanna do this maybe i should cancel it but then you're like oh but i really really want to do this so i haven't been this excited about something in a very long time so i'm just really upset not men congo 'cause i bet a few guys asked me maybe i should let guys go guys go at one or two you know want to say.

"The person next to you it's like you you win i think there's no really a with with the online space at least there's really not any a aena judgment going on there which is so awesome an how would you describe like to your you'll you'll you'll well pinole most of mine and i would you what would you tell what would you say that persistent is like if you could sum it up to your you'll tribe so to speak what would assistance main to you or what what do you think assistance really is what do i think the word persistence means yes i love that i don't use that word enough i love your show has that word i don't use that enough persistence is consistency i see it i'm very visual i see it as consistency fears hanging out there to a little bit so he's there and you're like fear fear's there he's trying to kinda pull you back you're in this race persistence is running and there's like mud coming out you a little bit it's a hill but persistence is like pushing and still running against the mind because like maude i'm going to keep going like no i'm going to get you in fears like no you can't do this persistence is just still running up the hill because that's just what he does and i think that's what persistent is i that's what i visualized these little cartoons of mud the fear for allergy omay pushing through it's just pushing through and knowing that that's you gotta love the journey i think part of persistent is loving the process because there is no one day there is no one moment where it's all done and you're like okay i have all the money and the clients and yeah it's perfect now and we'll know with with more success in money then comes more stress in a team and bills and you know it's like it keeps going it doesn't actually end i thought it would right we all think it's going to end but i think if you love what you do every day even the messy nece the sucking of it and you're still persisting than you've won that is success is loving what you do everyday right so exactly yeah absolutely i don't know if that's the right answer that's what my gut just only definitely a different way of definitely a unique way of in persistence andrei describe it in your own words i absolutely loved it like gaming news mumps oh awesome and we'll come into the we're going to bring this in for land in probably the next few minutes but this wanted to ask you like at this stage a success 'cause you're extremely successful you're doing so well and it's it's always relational as i said from from from jasmine in our we watch what you do and and it's very sparring fought for us output knows as well because it makes us want to step up game to what keeps the fire lit what keeps the passion lift in order for you to some of us because you you keep you status level and you you have high expectations of very very high standards but what keeps that file it what keeps that passion going full you yeah yeah for me it's two things one i want to create a really really good lifestyle for for my children i want wanna be a mom and i wanna do all of that and i want to create a really great lifestyle where they see me and i'm home and i don't have a life where i have to go to this nine to five and and i want to be able to create that freedom and i'm such a freedom junkie that that is such a strong strong value of mine and number two whether it's a comment or in person when a woman tells me that one episode even if it was a minute of it or or one piece of content that i posted or shared really changed her life that to me is is it's incredible it's a real human who wrote me that and i take the time to realize that's not just a a name behind a computer screen that's a real woman and that's why i'm excited to do more live events than when i've met women in person i always leave and i'm just super super motivated to do more and i.

"You doing now that it's going to prepare you for that next thing that you're going to do because entrepreneurship honestly it probably is gonna make you a great mom or vice versa moms make awesome entrepreneurs because they are you know what it's like to take care of something they know what it's like to have this annoying little baby that they also love they know what it's like so i think that we're always we're always in the right place at the right time with what we need how did you become so wise because iro do you away a union twenties i'm twenty eight i just turned twenty oh ago this trump to stop the podcast kozel i love you i'm just kidding i'm fifty seven i just have really nice skin right now goodness wise i have so much still to i don't know always like if you just drop in jobs a wisdom right now is you're just dropping the mike wow wow that's so good to hear that's awesome wow that's really good it's nice i don't see that sometime so it's it's very colty here and fast i grew up fast did you certainly did you mentioned earlier about doing the the visualization when you go in for your meditation walks and stuff and i think being that you're an ex athlete to you obviously did a lot of visualization to right is that something that use it back then yeah i i did do that i wish i knew more about that when i was eight ten eleven years old when i was in those really competitive meets as gymnasts i wish i knew more about that i think i always saw myself winning my dad has this funny story where it was the night before the state gymnastics meet and he came into my bedroom he said good night and he said you know whatever happens tomorrow don't worry about it just have a good time to your best and i said dad will somebody has to win so why not be me and he he remembers that moment 'cause he said he walked out of the room in knew that that was obviously very powerful the young child to realize wait somebody has to win this so why not it'd be me instead of oh how could it be me and he and i won the next day and so i don't know maybe i was maybe i was doing that i don't know and i think now a my brother is a freshman athlete we were talking about this he says before he goes into his boxer before he fights he visualizes the outcome visualizes what it's gonna feel like smell like the sounds the lights the people cheering with the outcome's gonna feel like and he does that and i think that's amazing if these athletes are doing that and that just proves that the power of of of manifesting in the law attraction is so real and some people don't think it's real but i'm just like you know there is proof in the pudding that athletes and business owners are doing it every day so it's it's got to be the most universal law it's gotta be real absolutely annot mental used to say to me in your mind you can hold it in your hand ooh yes yes yes good one that's a really really good one so let's talk about the person that is listening right now there's going to be many people listen to this podcast maybe they're gone from a ton of adversity right now and maybe they want become the next angie lay and going through tons of toa mall that going fruit tons of adversity rejection you name it that garmin for all right now and they wanna quit they want to complete this fro in the towel if they had maybe ten minutes review angie what what would you say to them in in that ten in ten minutes yeah yeah and i love that this podcast kinda shifted into the law of attraction and the power of that because i always loved the quote of show me your beliefs and i'll show you your life and i think that that.
